Brunch wedding 2019
Picking Marisa as our wedding photographer was the best decision we made (besides picking each other)! We found Marisa through The Knot app and loved her style. We had engagement photos a year before our wedding and that day we knew for sure she was the one! It had been a very stressful day leading up to the engagement shoot (my hair and makeup people never showed for the appointment). Marisa was so calming and empathetic. She offered to reschedule but we went ahead with the photos and we were so glad we did! Going into the wedding, we felt at ease knowing if the day was stressful that Marisa would help us relax and have fun. Her and Annette were an awesome team. They helped us have fun and relax throughout the entire day. During the posed photos they communicated well so we always understood why we were standing a certain way. As people who are not usually professionally photographed, that made it feel much more comfortable. Marisa and her team are talented and professional while being so warm and fun! They played an important role in what made our day so special! If I could give any advice to couples selecting a wedding photographer it would be this: pick someone who you click with to share in and document these intimate and special moments. For us, that was Marisa! We were in a true state of joy on our day and Marisa not only captured that but contributed to that. That is something our children and their children will have in the future and that is priceless!Marisa Lynne Photo's reply:

Marisa and Annette were such a wonderful pair to work with!! Normally my partner and I don't love the specific kind of attention you get when taking photos, but Marisa and Annette were so easy-going yet professional that we were at ease and had so much fun with them our entire session. Our personalities completely came through in our gorgeous final photos, and they not only captured us as a couple but the whole day in such a special way. Marisa and Tim did an amazing job photographing my wedding a few weeks ago! They are very easy going and pleasant to work with. I am a photographer myself, so it was hard to let someone else be behind the camera on my special day! I would definitely recommend them - my only wish is that I hired them longer on day of! I would have liked longer before the ceremony, but totally my fault for going with the shorter package. Also, the editing turnaround was super fast which I did not expect (as I know how much work goes into it) but a pleasant surprise! -
Erin Sent on 11/21/2017Booking Marisa & Tim for my wedding was one of the best decisions I made! Here's why:
-Right from the get-go, I appreciated that Marisa lists her prices on her website! She was below industry averages, and I got her prices up-front, did not have to do a back-and-forth via email, phone, etc. to get them! (One photographer had me video chat her for an hour only to find out her prices were THREE TIMES what I paid Marisa!
-After I expressed interest, I met Marisa and I could tell she would be a good choice! After all, if someone is going to be spending 8 hours with you photographing the most important day of your life, shouldn’t they be fun?!
-I booked Marisa almost a year before my wedding day, and once the big day was close, she was very good at communicating with me and nailing down a timeline.
-Marisa and Tim photographed my whole wedding, and were very efficient at making sure we got all of the pictures we wanted, while also not taking us away for too long from our wedding and guest. They also worked very well with my shy dog, and were able to get some great pictures of her!
-We were told we would have our pictures in 3 weeks, and again, Marisa got them to us quicker than that!
So, if you’re on the fence about which photographer to go with for your big day, I can’t recommend Marisa Lynne Photography highly enough!

User2446759 Sent on 11/29/2015Marisa photographed our wedding and was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. After clicking through countless portfolios of photographers in our price range, we immediately fell in love with hers -- beautiful, classy shots that did not look overly posed or forced. In all of our interactions with her, she was responsive, professional, and flexible, particularly when we had to reschedule our initial meeting with her multiple times. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, we sent her photos of the venue and some example shots of what we were looking for and she took care of the rest. On our wedding day, she made us feel very much at ease and struck the perfect balance of capturing all of the important shots without being distracting or in the way. As promised, we received all of our photos (edited and unedited) just a few weeks later. And we were quite happy with the results -- she truly captured the essence of our wedding, and thanks to her, we will be able to look back on our special day for the rest of our lives.
