Highly recommend Mariposa!

I can't speak highly enough of Mariposa Boutique. As a bride planning a wedding across the country, it was difficult to find a store that could accommodate my schedule. From the very first appointment, the store associates were very communicative about timelines and made sure to clear up any questions around alterations, turnaround times, etc.

During my dress shopping process, they were very patient with me (and my mother!) and never made me feel rushed or pressured to make a decision. I was pretty sure I had found my dress that first day I was at the boutique, but didn't want to commit just yet - the stylist was very understanding and wrote down all the details of my appointment so that I could pick things back up quickly if I did want to move forward.

When I called back to schedule a second appointment, they were quick to fit me in right away and even had the dress waiting for me upon my arrival. It was at that point, we started trying on veils but none of them felt just right. After explaining what I liked about different options they had in the store, my stylist did some research and found a local designer they have a relationship with, who could do a custom veil in the time that I needed.

Between the dress, veil and alteration recommendations, I'm so happy with my experience at Mariposa and couldn't be more appreciative of the lengths they went to, to make me feel special and beautiful on my wedding day.

I've been to over ten stores in LA and OC area before we found this gem. Amanda was great! (note; I had alterations done so it'd have a detachable train). I went back to preserve my dress, train, and veil with the boutique!

Perfect personal service!

Amazing and Dedicated!

Amanda was an amazing consultant! She helped me find the perfect dress, even though it wasn't the style I originally thought I wanted. The boutique has many different styles to choose from, and I was able to find a beautiful dress well below what I thought I would have to spend. They also have a selection of veils and headpieces to purchase, and the consultants will help you match the accessories to your dress.

Amanda was also excellent at handling the quality control issues my dress experienced. The designer repeatedly sent the dress to the salon with stains or water damage, and Amanda kept sending it back insisting they deliver a quality product. I cannot say how much I appreciate the lengths the Mariposa staff went to to make sure my dress was perfect!

Said YES on my first visit!!!

Loved this shop. Caleigh was amazing and so patient with my party and I. Her main focus was on what I wanted and she helped me find it!! I am picky and didn’t think I would find a dress that I LOVED and I even warned Caleigh at the beginning of the appointment. And by the end of the appointment I was in the dress of my dreams!! The 4th Dress was THE ONE

I can't say enough great things about the service at Mariposa. I thought I knew what I wanted, but they understood even better than I did. My bridal party was shocked that the fourth dress I tried on was the one. No need to look further. It was perfect, and my husband agrees!

Plus size bride nightmare turnaround

After going to David’s bridal and only being able to try on one dress. I was completely discouraged and wanted to give up. I went to Mariposa and was greeted by the wonderful staff there. My bridal stylist name Ashly was amazing! She knew my size and pulled 4 dresses for me that all FIT! I was able to find my dream dress for a great price and walked out happy as ever! This bridal shop is gorgeous with loads of beautiful dresses! I highly recommend anyone to visit their store you won’t be disappointed. Thank you ladies!!!

Tiana was my sales person and she made my shopping experience everything I could have hoped for! She asked me what I was looking for, made some suggestions and pulled some dresses that I would not have even thought of looking at. Everyone there is so so nice! I called to make an appointment and they were so nice and sweet. When we finally got there, I met coral who helped me thru the process. She asked me what I was looking for in regards to my dress. She let me browse around and pick out dresses I liked. She also pulled some that she thought I’d like. I ended up with a dress that was completely different than what I originally wanted. But coral def helped make the process easy and painless! I ordered my dress and they said it’d be in the store in 6 months. Fast forward 6 months, and my dress came in. I made an appt to try it on and even the girl (I don’t remember her name, sorry!) that helped me put my dress on was so nice and sweet.

I am so happy I bought my dress from Mariposa Boutique. They have a beautiful stage with huge mirrors that makes you feel like you are royalty when trying on dresses. They are all so sweet and helpful. Amanda helped me when I was trying on dresses and she was patient with me when I wanted to try on the same dress a few times to make sure I really liked it. They are very knowledgable about their dresses and made the process so easy. They also steamed my dress right before my wedding and helped fix some sequins that had come loose. You won't be disappointed if you buy your dress from them. Highly recommend!

Mariposa has a truly astounding collection of dresses, from so many different designers! With such variety, you can try on a lot of different styles to narrow down what you're looking for... and once you've decided on a style there's a ton of options! I got my dress and veil here and loved every consultant I worked with. Everyone was patient and eager to help me find the perfect gown! Would highly recommend a visit, especially if you're a bride who's having trouble finding exactly what she's looking for!

At the time of dress shopping, I lived 400 miles away and was coming down to Anaheim so my mom could be a part of the shopping experience. That being said, I traveled 3 times to get here for various reasons and every time they were so incredibly accommodating, including pick up timing (considering I didn't live right there when my dress arrived). Amanda was my bridal stylist, and boy did she GET me! They really listen when you tell them the things you're looking for and ideas you've had when on the phone for that first appointment. When I walked in, I met Amanda and she had been looking into things online, showed me a dress I'd been looking at for months (unable to find anywhere, granted), and told me that they could get a sample of it because they carried that designer! Amanda was an absolute godsend and so fun to work with. She gave me some wonderful ideas about how to add unique touches to an already incredibly unique dress and made the daunting task of finding a wedding dress (coming from someone who was physically ill when she walked into her first bridal appointment at another shop... I was NOT into this wedding dress shopping thing) an absolute breeze. Thank you so much for helping me find that PERFECT gown!

Mariposa was my first and only boutique I looked at, and it does not disappoint! Lindsey was incredibly helpful, fun, knowledgable, and made my experience all the worthwhile! Even though I was shopping the sample sale, Lindsey right away started a dressing room for me, was extremely patient, offered her valuable suggestions/opinions, and was so friendly! I tried on a least 10 different dresses and each time Lindsey would help with the pros and cons and never once did she make me feel if I were a hassle or had too many questions. She made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. I can only imagine how great the service is if you make an appointment. Thank you Lindsey for your patience and for the amazing service!

I loved this place!! It has a large selection and a large variety of dresses. The girls were very nice and not pushy at all. I went to about 8 places before I came here and I found the dress and didn't even have to go home to think about it. I had a vision for my dress, which included an A-Line shape and could not be strapless. I had a lot of trouble finding dresses that were not strapless and at most places I only had a few options. At Mariposa I had lots of options that were not strapless. I even liked two dresses when I went, where everywhere else I could not find even one.

My bridesmaids also got their dresses here! I wanted my bridesmaids to get the dresses they wanted without having to match and they carried a line that had a variety of styles that could be ordered in any color. This allowed my bridesmaids to get the dress they wanted and they all had the exact same color and material.

I purchased my dress in April 2014 from Mariposa Boutique fro my wedding this past June 2015. I can not express how beyond happy I was with their service. I walked in and Stephanie was the one to help me, I didn't feel like I was being sold anything or pressured at any point, she made it so comfortable that it seemed as if she was one of my girlfriends shopping with me. We talked about what I wanted and what ideas I had and she picked out 3 dresses, I fell in love with the first one I tried on. Stephanie and the rest of the girls working were so excited for me. When I said yes to my dress, the girls popped a bottle of champagne to celebrate. The boutique has a great selection of dresses including dresses for the bridal party and MOB. Accessories for days from head to toes.

The first dress I tried on at Mariposa was the one! My cousin told me about the sample sale Mariposa had Thanksgiving weekend and my mom and I went to check it out that Saturday. Before coming here, I checked out a few other stores, but wasn't completed thrilled with the selection. Since my fiance and I are paying for the wedding, we had a budget to stick. I have to admit, I wasn't sure what to expect from a sample sale: if there would be enough selection, if the selection was good quality, etc.

To my surprise, Mariposa had more gowns in both the boutique and the sample section than what I've seen at other places! I didn't feel rushed throughout the process. I guess we came at a great time too since it was the second day of the sale, we didn't have to deal with the crowd.

Coral was a doll and super easy to work with. She takes the time to listen to what you need and is incredibly patient. After listening to what I was looking for, Coral picked a couple of dresses and the first one I tried on was the one that I got! It was a great experience, the entire sales team were super nice. I walked out with a my dress, sash, and veil! Wedding dress shopping should always be this easy! I highly recommend Mairposa Boutique!

I had a wonderful experience here and this was the only store I went to. They have a great selection in all price ranges. My consultant, Coral, was so sweet and helpful. The manufacturer sent a dress with a mislabeled size and they handled the exchange quickly and it was stress free. The correct dress was shipped within a week and I never had to have a bridal meltdown. Thank you so much for my beautiful dress, I wish I could wear it every day!

This is where I found the "DRESS"!!! Everyone was really sweet and they had a wonderful selection. Beth was my sales associate and she really listen to what I was looking for in a dress. Most importantly she listen to my budget. I did not try on a dress that I could not afford. Once I found the ONE nothing else was good enough. I even walked out of the store to do more "shopping" since it was my first bridal store I visited but nothing else was good enough. I went back and purchase my dress. The best part is that it was cheaper than my budget. The process was easy and I received my dress before the date expected. Everyone was really nice, patient, professional.

This is definitely not a Davids Bridal. The gals here are GREAT! They did such a great job helping me find my dress. I never felt rushed. What I liked most was if a dress didn't look great, or was unflattering the girls were honest with you unlike other bridal shops who are just trying to sell you a dress. They do a great job at reading the bride and determining if she likes a dress or not. The girl who helped me did a great job and once she figured out what style of dress I was gravitating towards she went and grab a few dresses off the rack. She then said I know the dress you will want, it will be perfect on you ill be right back. She went to the back and brought out this beautiful dress. I put it on and it was the one. She was wonderful! I wish I could remember her name. She did a great job figuring out what I liked and disliked and make the dress buying process very very enjoyable. I was dreading shopping for my dress and was so happy when we came here. We were treated great and had a great time

Mariposa Boutique made shopping for a wedding gown a breeze! Their shop is very clean and well kept, and is super affordable for the quality of dresses they carry. My budget was $1500, and they carry many dresses within this price range. My consultant's name was Sandra. She was super sweet, not pushy at all, and I picked out my wedding gown within the first appointment. Even when my Maid of Honor wanted me to try on some other dresses that were totally not my style "just for fun," Sandra humored us and did not look the least bit annoyed. When picking up my dress, the dress arrived in the time frame I was originally told, and the whole process was streamlined and went very smoothly. I highly recommend Mariposa if you want quality service and a beautiful gown at a stellar price.

Absolutely ADORED this boutique!

My mother came out to California for a weekend to do my wedding dress shopping with me, so we had a busy two days planned. We went to 4 boutiques and I tried on about 40 dresses. Mariposa was the last place we went and we were not disappointed! From the moment we walked in we were treated like royalty. The setting is so beautiful and dramatic (and makes for some great photos!!) and Lindsey and all of the other girls are fantastic!

The dress I picked was more elegant and striking than the one I was considering before going to Mariposa..... And it was cheaper!!! The prices are great, the service is great, and the whole experience is great. I bought my bridesmaids dresses there too and got a discount for getting my dress there. FANTASTIC!

I Loved my experience with Mariposa! If I could get married again I would definitely come back. I would drive by Mariposa on my way to work everyday and wondered what that little cute place was! As soon as I got engaged, my sister in law recommended me to go to mariposa and I finally found out that cute little place I would drive by was Mariposa! At mariposa, I was helped by Jessica and she was the absolute best person to help me! She was amazing! I went to a lot of bridal salons and I just never felt comfortable enough to ask questions or ask to look at another dress because I felt as if I was being timed, I didn't like that so I decided to come back to mariposa and eventually after 3 visits I found my dress! It was an amazing experience to have with my sisters. It was the best bridal experience any bride could ask for! I was very sad when I had to pick up my dress because I knew I no longer was going to go to Mariposa any more. Just loved that place! Would recommend all brides to give Mariposa Boutique a chance!

Beautiful store! I got my wedding dress, veil and jewelry here. Actually, the only thing they had in store were the earrings. I found a dress at a different store and they special ordered it for me (I wanted to get it through them because I loved the sales associate so much - Emily). They had a veil that I liked, but wanted to make a few changes to, so they reached out to the designer and walked them through my vision and made it happen! They also signed me up for a jewelry vendor day and I customized my necklace with the designer! It all came out great. I moved to a different state before they received my veil and jewelry and they did a great job with communication and sending everything to me across country! Just note, they do not do alterations in house, so make sure you find a good alterations place elsewhere ;-)

I got my amazing dream dress. It was perfect. Even got my bridesmaids dresses there. Since I needed 2 maternity dresses, it was a little challenging, but the staff was friendly and great. My bridesmaids even got a discount because I got my dress there. Very happy.

Mariposa is a lovely bridal salon with a very nice selection of gowns and the girls there are SUPER helpful. I bought my Maggie Sottero bridal gown here and I would definitely recommend them!

Oh--and they give you a split of champagne when you find your gown--so it definitely makes you feel like celebrating!

I decided to go to Mariposa after calling all the stores in Los Angeles/Orange/Ventura County that carried to the dress I was interested. Mariposa was the only store that carried the dress I was interested in a size bigger then 10. Lindsey assisted me with my appointment, pulling the dress I wanted to try and a few others. I ended up falling in love with the dress I was interested in. Lindsey was very patient with me and let me take lots of pictures as my mom was unable to attend the appointment. I purchased the dress during a promotion period and received a free gift. They kept me in the loop during the waiting period of receiving my dress and called me they day my dress arrived. It was great working with Mariposa and everyone at the store is very friendly.

Coral was my assistant in trying on dresses, and she could not have been more helpful with me, even with suggestions about what would be appropriate for my size and style. The boutique is beautiful and has a home-like atmosphere, with a raised platform that reminded me of a stage that I was able to take pictures on in the dress I choose. They were perfectly willing to work within my price range and gave me champagne while we were finalizing the sale. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a bridal boutique with a upscale setting in which any bride on a budget or otherwise could find something beautiful with a helpful and supportive staff. Great service!

LOVED everything about this place. I had gone to so many dress shops in the beginning, and this venue was the most friendly and knowledgable. I highly recommend this place to anyone! Great selection of dresses and made the process so easy and enjoyable.

I had a really wonderful experience at this store. My consultant was Stephanie and she was really sweet and helpful. I had a specific dress in mind and she helped me find all the similar styles. I was able to get my dream dress for under $1000 and the store was really nice about keeping it for me for a couple of months after the dress came in because I was out of the country. The only thing I would mention as slightly imperfect is that they don't have an in-house seamstress, but there is a lady just across the street they recommend. She is competent but really expensive. Wish I had gone somewhere else, but it's not the store's fault.

My appointment took longer than an hour. I was having troubles deciding on my dress because my mother was being overly bossy. I nearly had a melt down, but the girl that helped me managed to calm me down. After all the drama, we found my dress and I couldn't have been happier.

Mariposa Bridal boutique is an awesome place to search for and buy your wedding dress. The boutique is cute and has a great ambience to search for the dress amongst so many choices. I always had positive experiences at Mariposa thanks to the attendants that helped out. They were very effective at listening to the styles you were looking for and made sure to bring out dresses that matched that style and your budget. They were also able to give their opinion and share their knowledge to help you make your decision. Even though I did make my dress purchase here, I did not feel that they would’ve pressured me if I hadn’t. They were very unbiased and was just effective at tending to your dress shopping needs. The prices of the dresses are also reasonable. They were sure to communicate updates about the status of your dress. There was one mistake they communicated to me about the process of hemming my dress but they made up for it by taking care of the cost of part of my alterations. I appreciated that they were upfront about that and provided a fitting resolution. Unfortunately, they don’t have in-house alterations and will refer you to the seamstress across the street (you can search for my separate review on Harmony Alterations). Overall, Mariposa provided me with an amazing wedding dress shopping experience and ultimately my dream wedding dress.

I love my dress from here! It was def. unique and one of a kind. I tried David's Bridal before I came here and after trying on 2 dress, I know this was the ONE! The price wasn't that bad either. Love the dress! The service was excellent, they help you try all the dresses and was very helpful and patient. Must make an appointment though since they're really busy!

Let me just start by saying that I think I am one of the pickiest brides ever in terms of finding my dress. My trip to Mariposa Boutique was my 7th salon and I think I had tried on upwards of 35 dresses and I liked " not-a-one". When I went arrived my heart was already in the dumps because I was beginning to think dress shopping was pointless and that I was just going to have to give up and have someone make my dress anyhow (which I did not want because they never look exactly the same as the picture). I met my stylist Stephanie Artiga and she was and absolute doll! Whenever I spoke she looked me directly in the eyes and really listened to me. She really tried to match the idea in my head with the dresses at Mariposa Boutique. This what was really different about Stephanie in comparison to other stylist I worked with. When I would tell them what I wanted, they ended up bringing me dresses they thought I would look good in. But not Stephanie. She listened and worked quickly picking out dresses, bringing in as many as she thought necessary. The dress I bought was the first dress she chose and second one I tried on! Right when I put it on, I got teary eyed and knew it was the one! I was jumping up and down and hugged her in the fitting room. I honestly do not believe that if she wasn't my stylist, I wouldn't have found my wedding dress that day. It was a beautiful gown, simple yet elegant and perfect for me. Mariposa Boutique gives you "Beverly Hills Treatment" but has a cap on the gowns of around $4K. Which is amazing! Some gowns go up to $30K and at some salons some brides can end up wasting time on not finding something within their budget. Mariposa Boutique and Stephanie were a "Say yes to the dress" blessing for me.

I got my wedding dress from this shop. The customer service is out of this world. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. I would highly recommend using this place to get your wedding dress. They offer high quality dresses at a very reasonable price. I loved this place!!!!

I live in San Diego and based on the reviews of bridal boutiques around here I went all the way to Anaheim to visit Mariposa. I was not disappointed. I found my dress and everyone was so pleasant and accommodating. When I was misquoted the price of the dress, my stylist gave me the pressing at no charge which offset the difference. There is an excellent seamstress across the street who made my dress perfect. Overall it was a great and memorable experience.

Two years ago I ventured into Mariposa Boutique as a bridesmaid, and fell in love with the Karina Royale by Maggie Sottero dress that I saw a bride trying on. I knew that if I ever got married, I would be returning to Mariposa. Fast-forward two years later to December of last year, it was my turn to buy my wedding dress. I set up and appointment with Sandra, and she was FANTASTIC!!! She listened to what I was looking for and my budget, and brought out all the dresses that I wanted to see. I like the dresses, but didn't love the ones I chose, so she decided to show me a dress that would fit my body shape. It was the Sottero and Midgley "Tracey". My mom knew that I didn't like the mermaid fit, and the way it looked on the hanger didn't impress me. However, Sandra reassured me that the dress looks different on, and proceeded to put me in the gown. OMG, I feel in love with the dress as soon as she started to tie the corset. It was the one! It was perfect! As soon as I walked out to show my mom, the look on her face made me realize that it was the one. I quickly ordered my dress to ensure that it would be ready by my August wedding. Sandra kept me informed through the months leading up to the wedding, as well as assisted my bridesmaids in picking and ordering their dresses. I can't recommend Mariposa Boutique enough!!!

My wife's dress was amazing. Looked like a million dollars and cost much less :) She could not say enough nice things about this boutique. The dress selection is fabulous and it is worth the drive from LA. Call and make an appointment and you will see how great it is.

I just picked up my dress from the boutique. I went in wanting to try on one specific dress and it was the first I tried on. I wasnt wowed by it so the associate was kind enough to grab me some others. After being a bit bleh with the dresses, the associate decided I should try the one dress again, this time with a petticoat. I put it on and just felt it. I Went home to think about it and look at the pictures (which btw, is the best part. Only at David's bridal have I seen the boutique let you take pictures). I went back and purchased the dress. I was given warnings and concerns with my shape but they helped me pick the perfect size.

When I picked up my dress yesterday, the associates were fast and gave me all the attention. They even played dress up and let me play with the jewelry and veil of the designer who was having a trunk show. I give them so much credit and I had an amazing experience. I only went to one shop and don't regret it.

After going to several of the larger bridal salons in Orange County, I made an appointment at Mariposa when I was on the hunt for a specific dress. The store is really nicely decorated, clean and the staff is super friendly. Sandra helped me both times I went in for my gown (once alone and once with my mother and mother in law) and she is amazing. Super sweet, and just very helpful. I ended up buying my gown from Mariposa, though it was not the one I had originally gone in for!

They have a large selection of dresses and the shop isn't really big, it just is a much more relaxed and inviting environment then some of the stores I had started at. I would definitely recommend Mariposa to my friends and family - in fact, I already have recommended them to two friends currently planning their own weddings!

Went to soo many places to find my wedding dress and finally found it here. They have great prices compared to other bridal stores and a huge selection. Also, you can take pictures!!! All the other places didn't allow you too. We also ordered our bridesmaid dresses from Mariposa.

I said YES to the dress here!! Sandra was wonderful at helping me try on dresses and everything.

Reasons why you should buy your dress here:
-You can take ALL the pictures you want here - THIS IS A BIG PLUS BRIDES!! Not many places let you do that.
-Everyone is super friendly
-beautiful interior decor
-there different mirrors for brides to try on dresses that are spread apart so you don't feel crowded next to other brides.
-Lots of bridesmaid dresses
-They don't rush you at all when you try on dresses
-Sandra is great! request for her if you can!!

After trying on a bunch of dresses, I found one I really love but it was out of my budget. She gave me a quote in writing of the dress and model number and everything. Not many places would give you ANY information on the dress!

After leaving this place, I sent an email to Sandra and asked her if she can get Maggie Sottero. She replied back very quickly and said yes. So I emailed her back asking for a quote for the wedding dress I tried on at the Wedding Day and she gave me a price quote of $60 less then what The Wedding Day quoted me without knowing how much I got quoted before.

After that I decided that I wanted to buy my dress from Mariposa. I booked an appointment that weekend and got my measurements done yesterday and made my deposit. While I was here to get my measurements and deposit, I actually accidentally came 1 hour earlier then my appointment time but Jessica was very kind and helpful. I had to wait only a little bit and she was able to help me with my measurements and deposit.

Jessica - if you are reading this, Thank you for all your help too! you are great!

While I was waiting, they were REALLY busy that day. I saw a girl try on over 10 dresses. She wasn't a bride buy maybe for Prom or bridesmaid dress? Anyways, her consultant was very patient and did not rush her at all. I was soo amazed that she could try on soo many dresses. But the time I was done making my deposit and measurements, she was still trying on dresses! Anyways, the reason why I brought this up was that, even if you can get Sandra to help you, it looks like all the other workers were just as pleasant!

I can't wait till my dress comes in! I am soo excited. Honestly girls, go ahead and try out dresses at other places if you don't find your dress here but come back and see if they can special order the dress with Mariposa. I love them and I am glad that I found Sandra to help me. I couldn't be happier!

Note: Parking is on the street but the sign of this place is blocked by a tree. Mariposa - if you can, I would recommend you to cut down the tree in front of your store. I had to make two u-turns trying to find this place the first time because I couldn't see the sign. My GPS says, "You have arrived." But I didn't know where the store was! LOL.

Mariposa has such a beautiful selection of dresses. I found exactly what I was looking for there and they are not pushy at all! Leeanna was my consultant for the day and that girl really knows her stuff I came with no pictures just a vision in my head and every dress she pulled was exactly what I wanted. To top it off they the prices are so reasonable! I highly recommend making an appointment when your dress shopping :)

I worked with Naheemah (might have butchered that spelling). She was great. She stayed with dresses in my budget and only showed me anything SLIGHTLY above when I requested it and made sure I felt comfortable with it. She never once pressured me into seeing any dresses out of my price range and was very helpful and attentive. She got was I looking for and gave me several options. Again, never pushy and was very honest. She was not a "yes girl" and lied to me about what looked good or not. She would tell me when something didn't flatter my figure as much as other dresses and unlike some of my company that was there to "help" me always asked IF I liked or not. HOW DID I feel in it etc. She was just awesome and they were very professional and let me know when everything was ready. They even threw in the bridal dress prep for free and gave me a 10% discount since I found it slightly cheaper online. LOVED them and most of all Naheemah!

I couldn't be happier with my wedding dress purchase experience. I knew the dress that I wanted when I came into Mariposa. I had called many places and all of them had sold their floor sample (urgh). Mariposa was the only one that still had the floor sample. Leanna was a sweetheart - she helped me with my dress, she was also my middlewoman when I was negotiating the price with the store owner. Luckily I came in on a day they had some kind of a promotion and was able to get a discount. Overall, I love this place AND they are open on Sundays - other bridal boutiques, take notice! So nice! I loved this place! I went to so many boutique's and bridal shops for all the "extras" and everything else I need for my wedding outfit, and either everywhere was extremely rude, way overpriced, or just too busy for anyone who didn't have an appointment.

Mariposa is very helpful and friendly and down to earth. Even though I did not purchase my wedding dress from them, they still helped me. Other high-end or chain-stores would not do that. Thanks to Mariposa, I found my perfect veil and earrings! Thank you so much! Thank you for your help and I recommend this store to anyone.

I bought my dress here at Mariposa boutique and I couldn't be happier! I went in about 7 months before the wedding and set an appt up with Beth, upon arriving she helped me soo much and brought me about 10 dresses to try on, while my girls brought another 5. I fell in love with one and decided that it was definitely thee one and purchased it right away. Fast forward 5 months and my dress was ready for pick up, I tried it on and it fit like a glove! Ladies if you're looking for the perfect wedding dress I'm sure they'll have it here for you, the prices of the dresses do range and they have dresses for all wedding budgets.

I highly recommend getting your dress at Mariposa Boutique. They have a great selection of dresses in various styles and price ranges (most within reason). The ladies who work there are friendly and professional, and will treat you with respect! They are very open about style numbers and prices, unlike a lot of salons, and they let you take as many pictures as you like! In all, I had a lovely experience shopping with them, and I was so happy to buy my dress from them!

When I went to go shopping for my wedding dress I assumed that, with my budget, I would end up at David's Bridal but I still wanted to have the experience of going to a "fancy dress shop." When I walked up to Mariposa I was a little concerned as there were a bunch of quincinera dresses in the window but once inside it is the cutest shop ever. There is a great dressing room area and racks and racks of dresses. I tried on a bunch of dresses and the one I fell in love with ended up being in my price range! No David's Bridal for me! I was shocked by the reasonable price and the fact that I had a non-mainstream dress for my wedding. It was a great experiecen and I couldn't be happier.

Jessica was the girl that helped me and she was great. So friendly and helpful but not pushy. I didn't feel like I had to buy the dress then and there and she told me I should take my time and even come back. I did end up buying my dress that day and my sister even travelled from Kansas to come shop with Jessica when it was her turn to buy a dress last year. I cannot emphasize how much you should go to Mariposa and check out their dress selection.

I LOVE this place. I have told all of my friends that THIS is the place to go to purchase a wedding gown. The ladies are all amazing. They are very polite and make you feel really comfortable. When I first went in, they were not pressuring me to purchase the dress. I fell in love with the first dress I tried on.. and they advised me not to purchase it. They told me to test the waters first and then decide if i wanted the dress.. I went to Davids Bridal.. and its clearly not the same. The davids bridal staff were rude, the dresses felt like plastic..the beading was plastic and the salesman kept trying to force you to purchase the dress.. i ended up going to back to mariposa and the manager jokingly said "i told you so.. i knew you would come back..".. she is great. They really do try to find a dress you will like. Everyone raved about how gorgeous my dress was.. i had a wonderful experience with these ladies.. oh.. and to make things even better.. i ordered my dress in February and was told i was going to get it in June. I turned out.. i got my dress in late MARCH! i had the dress in about a month and a half! that's amazing!

I am so thrilled to have worn a dress so beautiful for such a great price. I HIGHLY recommend that all rent their dresses. I'll definitely use them again the next time I have a big event to dress for. Great selections of dresses. The store allows you to take pictures for each dress you try out. It actually really helps because you want to make sure that's the dress you really want. Sometimes what you like might not look great on the pictures. I'm glad that I purchased my dress here. Originally my dress would be ready within 5 months, but it ended up only 1.5 months and ready for pick-up. The only unfortunate is they don't offer alteration, so you have to find seamstress yourself. Still overall is great service.

Mariposa is a tiny little shop but they had a great selection at a good price. The offered to throw in some extras like hair jewels and storage at no cost. Nice people.

Mariposa Boutique was my favorite place to look for a wedding dress and I would recommend them to anyone because they are very friendly and reasonable. Kasey, the manager was great and really helped me find the dress of my dreams. After my experience with purchasing my dress, I checked out there website and it said that Kasey had a passion for the bridal industry. Her passion towards helping brides find that special dress definitely showed.

I bought a beautiful sample Mori Lee dress. I had to fix the zipper, but instead I had a coriset added in place of the zipper.

I love this place and cannot say anything bad about it. Illayda, the woman I worked with, was amazing. She went straight to the designer to get a sample of a dress I wanted because they didn't have it in stock. When I got there, I tried it on and knew it was the one. She was so great with the measurements and taking care with my crazy fixes on the dress. She told me not to worry, but how could I not. But when the dress came in, I loved it. She was amazing and I would definitely tell any bride that they will be taken care of when they go to Mariposa.

There aren't enough positive words in the world to describe how I feel about Mariposa Bridal. They were the first vendor that truly made me feel like our wedding was really happening. And they took care of me, from beginning to end.

I'd made an appointment to look at dresses there about a year out from my wedding date. I thought I knew exactly what I wanted...and I asked for a particular dress they had to be set aside for me to try on. The appointment was GREAT. I worked with Lindsay, and she took SO MUCH TIME to help me. I truly felt like she was looking out for my best interests...was incredibly honest, yet incredibly WONDERFUL. She shared here opinions, and helped me figure out that was I was looking for wasn't really what I wanted. Hahaha!

I honestly tried visiting a few other local bridal salons (everything from David's Bridal and Alfred Angelo to The Wedding Day and La Soie), but I kept coming back to Mariposa. I asked them to special order a sample Maggie Sottero I'd wanted to try, but wasn't able to find anywhere, and they were more than happy to do that. And when Maggie Sottero's customer service completely fell through, Mariposa still took care of me. I ended up finding my dress at another salon, but when I saw the price, I decided to head back to Mariposa and see what they could do for me. They ordered the dress I wanted...for about $200 cheaper than the other salon. It came in in exactly three months, and it was PERFECT.

No one at Mariposa was EVER snooty or pushy. They honestly want you to find the right dress, and will help you until you find one. It was the most no-pressure place I've ever been to. They don't make you "register" when you arrive. They don't have a limit on how many dresses you can try on. They don't hide prices or dress names from you. If you ask, they'll give it to you.

Lindsay made the entire process so worthwhile. She completely took care of me and kept in contact with me for a good 7 months. She was wonderful, and I'd recommend them to any bride looking for the perfect dress. They'll help you find it, for sure.

I loved Mariposa throughout my whole planning process. They helped me find my dream dress and made me feel totally at ease and comfortable. My dress came in really quickly, so they made an exception and held it in store without a storage fee. They also answered all my silly little questions about color differences, type of material, etc. Everyone in the store is so knowledgable of all the lines they carry. I usually went in on a weeknight and had the whole store to myself, weekend are a bit more busy. Check them out you will not be disapointed!

Mariposa was the absolute best boutique! They made the start of my planning perfect! They do not treat you like some dime a dozen bride but as if you are the only bride to ever walk through their doors. The product is exceptional as is everything about the place! Everyone is super nice, and the owner is incredibly sweet! I really cannot say enough how spectacular and amazing this place is and cannot recommend it highly enough!!!

Kasey, the owner is awesome!!! I ordered and ivory dress and a month later decided that I actually wanted white when I realized how different ivory and white looked. I came to the boutique in tears and she said she would call the dress company the following day (because it was a Sunday). She said that if they didn't allow us to switch the color, that she would keep the ivory dress as a floor sample so that I would be able to have the white one I wanted. It ended up working out and the company allowed us to switch it but she was so great and accommodating to yet another stressed out bride. All the other girls there were extremely nice, helpful and professional. The dress prices were extremely reasonable for both the bride and the bridesmaids.

Mariposa is an unassuming bridal boutique, but once you step inside it's like a bridal fashion show! The store has racks and racks of amazing gowns for you to look through, and on the other side there are dressing rooms which are up on a "runway" with tables and chairs below it for your friends and family to watch you try on dresses! If you aren't impressed by the store itself, then wait until you meet their amazing staff. Every person I worked with at Mariposa was beyond upbeat and helpful. It was here that I actually found my favorite gown designer (Watters & Watters) thanks to the staff's expertise in matching me with what I liked, but because it was only the second salon I went to, I felt I had to keep shopping. I had some awful experiences other places, and then ended up finding "THE" dress (by same designer) at a very snooty and expensive salon. I didn't love the service I got at that salon, and knew I'd be paying a premium on my dress just to help pay their expensive rent. I called around and found another salon that was having a Watters trunk show so they were giving discounts. Still thinking about the incredible service I got at Mariposa, I decided to call and see if they'd match the trunk show price - and they did!! I was thrilled because I wanted to give my hard money to people who had really earned it. Not to mention, they didn't even carry the sample of my dress but they ordered it for me anyway, and actually ordered the sample for their salon as well!

I really do love the girls at Mariposa, and can't praise them highly enough. They don't do alterations in house but recommended a great place nearby that did an amazing job for a decent price. The only reason I took a half star off for value is because the alterations place they referred me to doesn't do pressings but Mariposa does, however their prices for that seemed to be rather high. If I hadn't been in such a time crunch I may have shopped around for that a little more, but they did a great job pressing it nonetheless!

I found the dress of my dreams here. The girls who helped me were courteous, patient, cheerful and very helpful. They did not force a decision on me, they helped me in finalizing my decision. I was so pleased with their service and my beautiful dress. It is by Maggie Sotterro and is called Adorae.
Along with their service, I was referred to great alterations place which is located right across the street from the boutique. Was expensive but the dress fit as though it was made just for measurements exactly. I was completely satisfied. Everything fit jst right and the dress was completed on a timely matter and even before the expected finish date.
Once alterations were finished I was able to take my dress back to the boutique and have it pressed as part of the dress purchase. It looked awesome and was more amazing than I could have imagined.

Mariposa was one of the two shops that carried the designer I was looking for within the SoCal area. I called to see if they had the specific dress I was looking for and they did and I made an appointment. When I got there (on time) they were still working with previous appointments so they put me in the back room...which isn't very appealing to the eye. Nonetheless, I loved the dress. The same day my bridesmaids also found their dresses. We ordered/bought the dresses that day.

There was a slight "freak out moment" when they called me a few months later asking if my bridesmaids were ready to order their dresses yet! I told the girl that they already ordered them and should in fact be in any day now. She said she would call back...when she did she apologized for the confusion and that the dresses had already been ordered. It was just a minor oversight on her part I guess.

Overall, the sales associates are very nice and willing to please. I would totally use them again.

I was extremely pleased with my experience at Mariposa. I made an appointment there and Jessica was wonderful! I must have tried on 30 different dresses that day and I found the dress I loved. It was the first store I went to so I wanted to look around more, but a few days later I decided that I couldn't keep my mind off the dress and my experience there was so good it was worth it to me. They aren't pushy and I didn't feel rushed one bit. I even came with all my bridesmaid and they didn't mind at all. The prices are reasonable too (at least for the Enzoani dress I bought). They have really nice accessories and veils also, so I purchased my accessories there as well. I would highly recommend them!

I purchased a bridemaid dress from Mariposa in March. Then 3 of my friends purchased our wedding dresses from Mariposa, we all agree - Mariposa is the BEST place to get your dress from. Kacey, the owner, is absolutely awesome, she is always there to answer any questions that you have. I purchased by dress 3 sizes too small, Kacey not only encouraged me to lose the weight that I need but also have me some workout tips. She kept me motivated the whole time.

Lovely Shop

Mariposa was the second dress shop I went to. It was the most important though, as this was the visit I would have my mom and sister with me. Ashly was my consultant, and she listened to me on what I wanted (while also grabbing a few dresses to try on for my mom that weren't exactly my style). I am a pretty decisive person, so I was pretty much done in 45 minutes and knew what dress I wanted. I saw other brides getting the 'say yes to the dress' treatment with the sign and pictures, but I never got that because my consultant never suggested it. I felt a little shorted in that regard, but otherwise, it was a very positive trip. My dress came in under two months later and it was beautiful!

I came to this boutique because it its where my sister in law, mother, and us bridesmaids had previously got our dresses so I knew this was the right place to go. They tend to get extremely busy so like most bridal stores you have to book a few wks in advance. When I got there, although the girls were busy, I was greeted checked in and told my consultant would be right with me. I looked around a little while I waited and saw a dress that I knew I had to try on. It had everything I was looking for. Sweetheart neckline, somewhat form fitting, gorgeous tiered lace, and with white buttons coming down the back. Romantic and elegant. When my consultant came out she was very pleasant to work with. I pointed out the dress and she pulled about 6-7 others with the same style. she was very attentive to what I was looking for and at no time did I feel rushed. After trying them all on and a little back and forth I walked out with the original dress I had selected. It was exactly what i had been looking for. It was perfect and within my budget. I chose to get my bridemaids dresses here as well. I was contacted as the dresses arrived each arriving wks prior to their delivery due date. I will continue to recommend Mariposa Boutique to any future bride.

I absolutely loved my experience here. I visited them 3 times before I committed to buying my gown and they had no problem with that at all. From the moment you walk in, they make you feel so special. I told them by budget was $1,400 and although I tried on gowns that were up to $2k, I was able to find the perfect one for $1,300. I went to about 10 different bridal shops and would definitely recommend every bride to go here at least to check it out.

Overall they were great. They have a nice selection of gowns and I loved dress. The only thing I was a little disappointed from was that they representative told me I can make some alterations to my dress which end up being not impossible.. That said, the Dress was beautiful and I am super happy with the final product.

I was in search for a veil that looked similar to a 500.00 veil I had fallen in love with at another bridal. I walked into Mariposa without an appointment and helped myself. I wasn't expecting any help because i knew what i was looking for and i just wanted to get in an out and on to the next if I didn't see what I was looking for since there was about 2 months to go before the wedding. I happened to come across the most beautiful veil that was an almost exact replica of the 500.00 veil for half the price. Even though still a little above what I wanted to pay, I decided t go ahead and buy it. I was so happy I did. It was beautiful and arrived in plenty of time. I was very pleased with the sales associates who offered to help even though I didn't have an appointment. The only problem I had was that I wasn't called when my veil came in. I had to call them but then again, maybe i didn't give them enough time to call me because i was so anxious.

I first encountered Mariposa Boutique at a bridal show in Redondo Beach. They had racks and racks of dresses out, and were very helpful in letting me try on a big variety of dresses. I must have tried 10-15 dresses in that one shot, with my family ooooh'ing and aaah'ing and pulling dresses from here and there in their excitement. But the sales staff were patient, and accommodating. I decided to try going to their salon, since I didn't find anything in that trip.

That second visit is when I found MY dress. I was actually about 90% sure on a v-neck dress before I asked if they had one in a similar style but strapless (Fiancee's favorite). As soon as I put it on, I loved it. Ordering was easy and the dress came back in the time frame as expected. When I picked up the dress, they let me take my time putting it on and parading around in front of my Mom.

The only downside was that they did not have alteration services in house, but it worked out fine for me, as I was able to find a seamstress closer to where I live. If you want great service and a boutique where they actually allow you to take pictures in the dress (a HUGE plus as any bride knows) I would suggest giving this place a try.

I had such a great experience at Mariposa. After trying on dresses at 4 other salons, I thought I wasn't going to have that "ah-ha" moment with a dress. But with Sandra's help I found the dress of my dreams! And under budget! She was so friendly and helpful, and made sure that me and my small entourage had a memorable experience. I even ordred my bridesmaid's dresses through them and am currently in the process of getting my wedding dress cleaned and preserved. Thanks Sandra!

My stylist Emily at the Mariposa Boutique was FABULOUS! I felt so comfortable with her, and she knew my style and what looked best on my body type better than I did. The dress was so gorgeous and elaborate, but at a steal of a price! It even arrived two weeks earlier than they quoted me. They are all so professional and made me feel like a complete princess. Finding The Dress and then getting to spin around on a big stage in it made me feel so special, and it's all thanks to Emily and her team.

I was giving up and went in by myself to Mariposa Boutique.

I found my dream dress.. there it was.. a beautiful affordable slimming corset dress by Maggie Sottero.

Looked like a $3000 dress but I only got it for $750

I was lucky enough to have Emily help us and she made all the difference! Her patience and ability to quickly understand my needs, fears, anxiety made our first appointment the one that found my dream dress. After we purchased it she stayed in contact through the entire process including when I wanted to come back to try it with my shoes. I honestly wish I had more events to go shopping there because I LOVED my time with her and have already recommended her to other family and friends who are getting married.
I only down graded the boutique because of other people who worked there - ASK FOR EMILY!

I love Mariposa! They have so many dresses to chose from, and staff that will actually be honest! They don't try to push you to buy, and actually told me to go to try on other dresses at other stores if I was unsure in the dresses there. Jessica was the consultant that helped me, and she was amazing. She was always very honest and told me what flattered and what didn't flatter, which I really appreciated. She was always helpful, and got me answers to all the questions I had. I got my wedding dress, and my bridesmaid dresses there. The ONLY reason they didn't get 5.0 is because they don't do alterations there, so I had to find another place to do that for me.

This was the second place I went to find a wedding dress. I had an AWFUL experience at David Bridal's and was looking not to repeat that experience. With the great reviews for this place, I was excited for my appointment and I was not disappointed. The salon is very cute and small. I didnt feel overwhelmed with the choices but trust me, there is a lot to see here as well. My consultant was awesome! I had no idea what I was looking for and so she found some amazing dresses to try and my third dress was the first one she suggested and it was THE DRESS. It was made for me!! I feel in love completely and didn't try on any other dresses. I paid for my dress that day and it was the best decision!! The staff were all friendly and suggested other vendors like make-up and photographers. Great place!

I purchased my wedding dress at Mariposa. It was simple and stressfree. The first time I went in with my mother, FMIL, FSIL, and my niece. Sandra was my consultant and was so helpful. At the first appointment I was torn between two dresses so I made another appointment to try them on again and decide. I ordered my dress in September 2010. It arrived on time in February. I purchased a Maggie Sottero. The fitting went great! However, when I left with my dress the consultant (not Sandra) never mentioned their recommended alterations person or when I needed to bring the dress back for steaming service so I had to call them back both times. I took my dress back a few days before the wedding for the pressing service and the dress turned out perfect. I would highly recommend Mariposa!

I purchased my dress from Mariposa after having awful experiences trying dresses on at other locations. Sandra was extremly helpful and pointed out details that would and wouldn't work with my body type and the look I was going for. They allowed us to take pictures which really helped because I ended up changing my mind on dresses after I saw what they looked like on me in pictures.

My only negative experience was when I went in to try and find a veil later on without an appt and had no help at all. I was pointed to where they were and then couldn't get anyone to help when I was ready to order mine. If you go with them make an appointment and ask for Sandra! :0)

Mariposa is such a great find!!! They had loads of styles for dresses under $1,000. I don't know a lot about wedding dress designers.. but I know they had a wonderful selection of Pronovia dresses and Sottero & Midgely/Maggie Sottero. My consultant Beth was very attentive and she let me try as many dresses as I wanted in my 1 hour appointment. She wasn't at all pushy about selling me a dress. When it came down to 2 dresses, she didn't try to push the more expensive dress at all, in fact she asked if cost was a factor in making a decision. I ended up with a Maggie Sottero dress for $650!! I LOVED it. Perfect for a garden wedding.

Just to note, they do price match (which is GREAT). So if you find the exact same style at another salon for a better price, they will match that price. And if they can't verify that salon is licensed to sell a specific designer, they at least try to offer a sale discount.

The decor is elegant and simple. Doesn't have that "cheap" or traditional feel to it. There are 4 dressing rooms. Should definitely make an appointment for weekends. I recommend go during the week if you can.

Highly highly recommended!!
