Went to them for my wedding dress. Our consultation was so easy and the never made me feel like I had less options because my budget was small. I bought my dress that day and didn’t have to shop around because their selection was incredibly. Would highly recommended them.

Mariella's Creations & Margie and Irena's Alterations were AMAZING to work with! I went in with a rough vision of what i was looking for and the woman we worked with not only exceeded my expectations, but brought to life a side of my wedding gown experience that I could never have pin pointed myself. She truly found me a dress that suited me best and allowed me to showcase in the dress. The pricing was reasonable for both the dress and alteratiosn and they were super accomodating to all of our needs. The alterations process was SO smooth and seamless. The woman we worked with for alterations did an amazing job and she listened to all of my feelings and concerns to make sure I felt 100% comfortable in my dress on my wedding day. Truly, I cannot say enough amazing things - THANK YOU to everyone at both Mariella's Creations and Margie & Irena's Alterations.

Great experience wedding dress shopping
I had an amazing experience dress shopping at Mariellas. They have a huge selection of dresses in all price ranges. The staff was so helpful in listening to my likes/dislikes of different dresses I was trying on and really took my feedback to help find the perfect dress for me. They are all so professional and made wedding dress shopping a great experience and not stressful at all!

One-Stop Shop For the Perfect Wedding Look
Mariella's Creations was the first and only bridal shop I had to go to to find my wedding look. At the first appointment, the consultant was so incredibly helpful and was able to find the dress that so perfectly matched my vision. The second ever wedding dress I tried on was the one. I then went back to find the perfect headpiece and again the staff at Mariella's was so insightful and helpful.
I also used their alterations service, Margie & Irena's and I could not have asked for a better experience. They were incredibly thoughtful and talented; they added extra hooks so I felt secure and made sure the dress not only fit perfectly but was beautiful. They reconstructed the entire bodice to make sure it looked the way I wanted to.
Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend Mariella's Creations.

Grandmother of the bride dress. 2023 weddding
Had a problem with a grandmother of the bride dress. Mariellas bent over backwards to correct the problem and could not have done more to help us..Fantastic customer service and professionalism. I was lucky enough to find my dress the first day and Nella at Mariella’s made that such a positive experience! She knew exactly what I was looking for after only trying a few dresses previously while keeping our budget in mind. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect dress and all the staff were so upbeat. Found the perfect dress!
I purchased my dress in May of 2022 for my wedding in May of 2023, and my mom purchased her mother of the bride dress here as well. Christine helped me find the perfect dress! She was kind and helpful throughout the process and was able to pull a variety of dresses that fit what I was looking for. The dress arrived in plenty of time, and the alterations process was easy at Margie and Irena's. My mom's dress needed to be taken in a lot and they were able to accommodate her to make sure the dress fit perfectly in time for the wedding. The whole process was stress-free, and I highly recommend Mariella Creations and Margie and Irena's!

Amazing experience at Mariella's!!!
I had the absolute best experience at Mariella Creations! I am extremely indecisive and tend to be swayed by other people's opinions so I was nervous to go dress shopping and to possibly be pressured into buying something I didn't love. Nella was amazing to work with and helped me find my dream dress and veil in just one appointment! She did an amazing job picking dresses for me to try on, that were styles that I liked and was never pushy at all! It made me feel so at ease. Not only did I have a great experience choosing a dress but their alterations department was also phenomenal and seriously SO impressive! Mariella Creations is great to their customers, has a large selection of beautiful dresses and has very nice staff! You can't go wrong going to Mariella's to find your wedding dress. My mom, aunt, cousin and sister-in-law all got their dresses from Mariella's and I am so happy I had a great experience just like all of them!

I had a wonderful experience from the moment I walked in to Mariella’s. Although I was only able to have a few guests with me due to Covid-19, they allowed me to take the time to FaceTime my other close family and friends for advice. Dress Dreams Realized
I can't say enough wonderful things about Mariella and her team! My first and only dress shopping appointment was in August 2019 and Christina was instantly a member of our entourage, going above and beyond to make our experience perfect. The final dress of the appointment was our wildcard, a strapless ballgown to mix up my sleeved, A-line vision and clear my head. The second I put it on, I felt like a bride. When she suggested adding sleeves, I felt like ME! 9 dresses and I had my dream dress.
They continued to keep me updated throughout the process of customizing my Casablanca dress and were supportive and enthusiastic every step of the way. When I came for my first fitting in March 2020, all the consultants came to see how the sleeves came out! They were accommodating when we had to postpone for Covid, and when it was time for alterations, Margie took my dress from spectacular to perfect. I could not be happier with our experience from beginning to end. (And we came in under budget, even with the customizations!)

The women at Mariella Creations were so amazing with helping to pick out my wedding gown. I told them my vision and they found my dream wedding dress on the first day of dress shopping. Margie & Irena's alterations then made my dress fit like a glove. They were so flexible and accommodating, I cannot say enough good things about them! Looking for the perfect wedding dress? Look no further than Mariella Creations! My consultant, Nella, really listened to my wishlist for my dress, and picked out the perfect dress on the first try! She made every member of my family feel so welcome during the consultation, and I was thrilled to get my dress here. They even let me come back and try on the sample of the dress I had chosen when friends were in town to visit, which was extra special. When covid came along and required us to postpone our wedding day, Mariella and her team worked closely with me to make sure everything arrived and was stored properly, and were incredibly helpful in setting up my alterations with their team at Margie & Irena’s alterations. I have received nothing but compliments from folks who said my dress looked like it was made for me! I felt gorgeous, timeless, and comfortable all day on my wedding day! Beautiful Dresses!
I was originally going to go to two other bridal shops before looking at Mariella's, but decided to go Mariella's first because my mom got her dress from them in the 80’s! I am so glad that I didn’t look anywhere else because I found my dream dress! I only had one meeting to try on dresses, and my stylist was absolutely amazing! She was so kind and friendly and brought in dresses based on the styles that I had shown her and that were also within my budget. The entire process was so enjoyable and fun. Every time I came back in for measurements or to look for bridesmaid dresses, the stylists were so friendly and helpful. And the dresses are beautiful! Their alterations apartment, Margie and Irena’s, did an excellent job! They were so friendly, very talented, and made sure I was speaking up about whether or not I was comfortable in my dress. We also used their grooms shop, Formals by Antonio and couldn’t have been happier! I cannot recommend Mariella's enough!!

I chose the wedding gown of my dreams at Mariella Creations! I know that I would not have found MY gown if not for their expertise. I tried on many wedding gowns and loved most of them, but Mariella made a suggestion to add a lace jacket over a gown that I already loved... When I put the lace jacket on, I knew that was exactly how I wanted to look when I married my husband… It was perfection! I felt beautiful, comfortable and confident. I found the dress!
I had a wonderful experience at Mariellas and the seamstress they recommend Margie and Irena's. Both shops worked well with me and my bridal party (pre-covid) and had excellent communication about any delay Covid might have caused. At Mariella's the consultant pulled the dress with the first group of dresses she brought in. She was able to bring in different veils and accessories to complete the look I was going for on my wedding day. Margie and Irena's were so accommodating, they were great as my mom learned how to bustle the dress. A few months after my experience there with my bridesmaids, one of my girls went back and found her dress!

I found my wedding dress at Mariella's and my experience was fantastic. Both my mother and my sister found their wedding dresses there, so it was a really unique family experience for me to go, as well! For a girl who never wears dresses, they made the entire process smooth and enjoyable, and I found the perfect dress! They were happy and kind the entire time. I have gotten bridesmaid dresses from them in the past, and I have always had an outstanding experience.

I found my dress at Mariella's was was not disappointed with the customer service and the amount of time and dedication they put in to helping me find the perfect dress. I was unsure about the dress I ended up buying and Mariella came into my appointment and gave me suggestions to help ease my mind. I walked out saying yes to the dress! The phenomenal customer services extended 4 blocks down the road to Margie and Irena's for alterations. They altered my dress in a timely manner and did a phenomenal job! Great selection, great customer service
I went into Mariella’s with 5 pictures of the type of dress I would be looking for. The stylist came back with 5 dresses, all of which were incredibly beautiful and matched exactly what I described, but all being unique in different ways. I was very pleased with her selections. Additionally, all of the dresses were within the price range I gave her. I fell in love with one of them more than the others and knew it was the one, but also had an appointment at another place and felt like I had to go because it would be rude to be a no show. The stylist was a bit disappointed (understandable) but did not pressure me one bit and said that if I decide the dress is the one to come back anytime. I went to the other store and quickly saw that nothing compared so I went right back to Mariella to order the dress. They took me right in to measure me and were extremely accomodating even though it was no longer my appointment time. I highly recommend searching for your dress at Mariella’s as they have an amazing selection and everyone there is extremely friendly and helpful.

Excellent customer service and styling
I had made an appointment at Mariella’s and the day of my appointment there was a horrible ice storm. They called me the day before and the day of to ask if I was still planning on coming and I let them know my mom was in town only for the week so we would be there no matter what. We were the only customers in the store and it was a wonderful experience. Before we even arrived, the consultant asked me over the phone specifics about the wedding, what I was looking for and my price range. She actually pulled the wedding dress I ended up choosing before even meeting me in person. I felt like the consultants knew what they were doing, were very professional and helpful. I highly recommend Mariella’s!

Exactly What I Was Looking For!
I came to Mariella's without expecting to buy a dress. I sat down with my consultant, who asked me a lot of questions about the venue and vision for the wedding, as well as asked me for pinterest pictures of dresses I liked and pictures of dresses I had tried on before. She took in every detail I told her, and pulled a few dresses to start. I gave her my thoughts on the first two dresses she pulled, and then she immediately thought of another dress I might like. She left, and brought back one more dress, which ended up being the one. It was absolutely perfect, and I couldn't believe how quickly she was able to pick out the dress of my dreams! I also ended up getting my bridesmaid's dresses there, which were also absolutely beautiful! It was such a great place to work with!

My Dream Dress
I'm not a big dress person, but I felt at ease from the moment I walked in for my appointment. They pulled dresses that were great and helped me finally find THE dress. They were amazing to work with and so easy going. When I went to pick up my dress, they easily made accommodations for my grandmother so we could stay on the first floor, got her a comfy chair. I just felt like they were family.

Amazing Experience and literally saved my day!!!
I can’t say enough great things about this store. I had major dress regret with a gown purchased elsewhere. The experience with the other store was not good. From the moment I walked into my appointment at Mariella’s l felt at ease. My consultant was patient and listened to what I was asking for. I was in a time crunch and was past the point of ordering most dresses. She allowed me to look through the dresses and when I found a discontinued sample the owner stepped in to really help me envision what alterations could do to add lining and sleeves. They literally took a tough situation and created my dream dress! I was dreading wearing the original wedding dress and now I can’t wait to put my new one on!!!! This is a family run business and you can tell they love what they do! If you’re considering making an appointment, do it. You won’t be disappointment. Absolutely stunning collection of designers also!!!

I'm absolutely in love with my Maggie Sottero dress compliments of Mariella Creations and their amazing sales team. They accommodated me thrice and allowed me to try on the dress every single time !! They are an official distributor of Maggies gowns. They did an excellent job speeding up the process of getting my gown but more so, Their alterations department, Margie and Irina were the real MVPs who helped me get the perfect fit for my gown. After 4 fittings the dress fir me to a tee. They were able to put new sleeves on it and a modetsy panel. It was awesome. Everybody complemented how amazing the dress fit me. As big as it was it was comfortable to wear and walk around in.

Beautiful Dress, Experienced Boutique
I was married March 16, 2019 and purchased my dress in July of 2018 from Mariella's. I had been delaying dress shopping as I'm very particular and wasn't looking forward to endless hours of trying on dresses until I found "the one." My best friend and Matron of Honor recommended Mariella's as she had shopped there herself and had a wonderful experience. Unbeknownst to me, Mariella's is known as the place to go for all your wedding needs.
The day of my appointment we checked in quickly and we shown a beautiful dressing upstairs with plenty of seating and privacy for my party of 4. We were offered drinks and immediately had our associate engage us. She asked me if I'd had something stylistically in mind to begin the process and voila, I found my dress and was out the door within 2 hours. It was quick and painless and I left that day with measurements taken and deposit paid. It was helpful to have dresses selected according to style preference versus randomly trying them on. It was appreciated that she respected my wishes and that I knew what was most flattering on my body type and didn't shove unnecessary dresses in my face.
In mid-January I received a email my dress and veil had arrived and was referred to a fantastic seamstress for my fittings who 2 weeks before my wedding had my dress fitting perfectly. Everything about their professionalism made every step a breeze, from start to finish. Mariella's has a tremendous variety of dresses, making it unlikely one can't find what they're looking for and within their budget. I can't wait to return for my next formal gown.

I found “THE dress” here!
I had a great first experience here working with Nella. She did a great job bringing things in for me to try after seeing my reactions to different styles of dresses. Nella’s been here for many years and has a lot of experience helping women find the perfect gown! She advised us that white is out now and that they don’t get many dresses in white, though most dresses can be ordered in white. I have trouble choosing something I can’t see in person, so I knew it was unlikely I’d order a dress in a color I hadn’t seen, like there aren’t even pics online of different colors of each dress (some perhaps, maybe depends on company?)!
It was odd to have to give a credit card # to book an appointment but I guess when you have limited weeknight and weekend hours you do what you have to to deter no-shows. If you don’t show, you get charged $25, which is reasonable I guess.
We were told that if your bridesmaids also buy gowns here then they get 10% off their dresses and the bride gets 5% off her dress, which is a nice little perk. I knew I could DEFINITELY find a dress here, but I was told there’s another store I needed to check out near Boston so I wasn’t ready to commit on my first visit here, but I found three dresses here that I liked, a lot! I also loved the private space you get so that you aren’t in the middle of the showroom on display, like at the major chain that sells dresses (I went there first so I’d have something to compare to).
I ended up coming back here two additional times; the third visit was to actually order one of the 3 gorgeous dresses I tried on during my first two visits. I went to 5 stores (including this one) during my search for the perfect wedding dress, and started comparing all dresses elsewhere to my faves here and knew I had to come back and order what I started realizing was “the one”!

Amazing experience
Mariella's was the first place I went to when I started looking for a wedding dress. I wasn't sure what style dress I wanted and I was lucky to have worked with my consultant, Christine. She brought me every style dress she could grab and we quickly narrowed it down to the one that looked best on me. Christine was extremely knowledgeable about the dresses and had an eye for what would work best for me. I would highly recommend Mariella's to any bride to be's!

Kathleen was my stylist and she did not disappoint! It was my first dress apt and I didn't think I'd find the dress, I figured I'd find out the styles and silhouettes I liked and that it would take forever since I'm picky and stick to a vision if I have one. To my surprise, Kathleen was phenomenal from the start and with every dress she brought me. I tried on styles that I thought I would love but ended up learning that it just didn't work for my small frame. I ended up choosing one she found that I never thought I'd consider, and loved it even more! Wonderful service and staff, I can't wait to go back when my dress comes in!

A+ Wedding Dress Salon!!
Mariella Creations is a fantastic bridal salon!! I originally booked an appointment because my Maid of Honor as well as two aunts had bought their wedding dresses at Mariella's over the years, and I'm glad that I did! My stylist Nella was SO kind and supportive. She listened to all of my style preferences and immediately came back with her hands full of dresses that were EXACTLY what I was looking for. The very first dress she had me try on was the dress I ended up buying!! She was very respectful of my budget and pulled dresses well under my price limit rather than pushing me into dresses that were at the top of the budget. She clearly has an eye for style because I loved the veil she paired with my dress so much that I bought that on the spot too!! Mariella herself even helped with my session--bringing me onto the showroom floor and adjusting my veil to get the full effect of the dress in the best lighting. The whole time I was at my appointment I felt that everyone was very attentive and incredibly professional. Nella was an ace wedding dress stylist and I had the most exceptional experience at Mariella Creations!!

I am so thankful that I went to Mariella Creations for my wedding dress! I am normally pretty indecisive and went to my appointment after a red eye flight from the west coast, so I was worried that it wouldn't be a successful appointment, but I was very wrong. The staff was able to very quickly figure out my style, and after trying on several dresses, I found "the one." I couldn't have been happier with my dress choice. The staff is so friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable, and there is a great selection. Highly recommend!

Bought my dress here 9 months before the wedding. Although they had a deliver date set, it came in about 3 weeks late; however, that was due to the dress being special ordered for my short height. They were honest with communicating and extremely professional. I went in looking for one style and saying no to lace and tulle, but they put me in what I never thought I would want and felt so humbly happy in it that I had to have it. Not as cheap as other providers, but quality is well worth it and still considered affordable.

I went to Mariella's after going to 2 other bridal shops. I saw online there was a Rebecca Ingram trunk show and I tried calling to get an appointment. It was last minute and the trunk show was only going on for another 2 days or so, but they put me on the wait list. They called the next morning saying they could fit me in. After going to the first bridal shop, I was so discouraged, but it was different at Mariella's. When we arrived they put us in a huge dressing area and had plenty of seating for my family who came and even offered us water. They listened to what I wanted. They pulled a bunch of dresses and listened when I said what I liked or didn't like about the dresses. I never felt pressured to like a dress I tried on or to buy a dress there. They cared more about what I thought than the other two shops by far! I ended up buying my dress that day and was so happy! I also had my alterations done through them and it turned out wonderful. This was such a great experience! I had never been wedding dress shopping before so I was a bit nervous! My consultant was Nella and she was AMAZING! I ordered my wedding gown from Mariella’s Creations in January 2017 and it was the most surprisingly unexpected situation! My sister called the boutique to see if I could browse dresses 45 minutes before they closed. They accommodated this request and although slightly rushed, I was excited to see their inventory. I ultimately purchased my dress that day and it was a dress I absolutely hated on the hanger! (All the more reason for future brides to try on different styles because you’ll never know! ) My dress came in sooner than expected and I was comfortably able to make alteration arrangements without feeling rushed before the wedding. In the interim, my dress was stored at Mariella’s for safekeeping at no added charge! I lost 20lbs from the time I purchased my dress to my wedding date, and as the dress was altered each time, I fell more and more in love with it as it started to finally fit my body. After my wedding this past September, I used their vendor to clean and preserve my dress and veil and it came back within 3 weeks! I loved every minute of my experience wth Mariella’s Creations and would recommend this boutique to all!

I had such an amazing and positive experience finding my dress at Mariella's! Mariella's had been my second shop to look for dresses, and by far was a better experience overall! Mariella's had a big private room for me to try on dresses on with my family, which made the atmosphere very intimate and special. They also had a HUGE variety of dresses to choose from within my budget and in just the style I was looking for! Christine was my wonderful consultant and she listened very intently to exactly what I did and didn't want. She was extremely professional, detail oriented, and overall the most perfect consultant for me. I was amazed at how beautiful the dresses in my price range were, making the entire process much less stressful for me. I just got married 9/30/17 and I got SO MANY compliments on how beautiful my dress was and the blush under the lace made it pop in all of my pictures!! Mariella's was the perfect bridal shop for me and I can't thank Christine and the rest of the associates enough for helping me find my perfect dress!

After so many of my family members and friends had such great experiences with Mariella Creations I knew that’s where I wanted to go to find my dream wedding gown. The entire staff at Mariella’s is so detail oriented, accommodating, and kind. Margaret was my seamstress; she is as wonderful a professional as she is an individual. When I first went to look at gowns the associate who helped me asked if I had a wedding Pinterest board which – like any modern bride – I did! She looked through my Pinterest board to get an idea of the style I was aiming for and pulled a selection of gowns for me to try on. The very first gown I tried on was the one! A classic, timeless, Pronovias. She made the process so stress free and enjoyable; I am so grateful to have had such a positive experience. (I insisted on trying a few styles that were out of my comfort zone just for the heck of it and fortunately she was just as enthusiastic about the thrill of wedding gown shopping as the rest of us!) I will continue to recommend Mariella Creations as they were an absolute pleasure to work with. Thank you Mariella’s!

I literally LOVED my whole experience at Mariella's. After trying several other chain bridal stores, I was impressed by the personable nature of Mariella's. Each customer is given a bridal consultant who takes them into a lovely and private changing room with wall mirrors, comfy chairs for bridesmaids/moms, and a partition to change behind. I was never pressured to rush into a purchase, and came back a few times to try on the same dress before I settled. The appointment was fun, relaxed, and my requests were taken seriously. The owner, Mariella herself came and measured me when one of her staff became sick and couldn't finish her shift. She was a lovely woman who genuinely cares about her customers. I was told by the staff that Mariella travels to New York City each year to personally select the dress styles she will sell. Nella and Mariella have years of experience. Mariella also personally filled out my custom order form and made handwritten side notes for the company regarding the special straps that I had requested, with the exact measurements I had hoped for. The dress fit PERFECTLY and I was blown away by how much I loved it when I received it! I got my veil, undergarments, and earrings there too. Everyone who works there is amazing! The quality of their dresses is fantastic. They work in partnership with some seamstresses down the road, who tailored the straps of my dress to fit me perfectly, and also added buttons for bustling my train. The employees there were kind, sweet and caring. The quality was top notch, and the atmosphere (cleanliness, interior decoration) there was beautiful as well.

I found Mariella's based on referrals from friends. I ended up going in July 2016 for the National Bridal Sale day and, after browsing the sale AND being accommodated by a consultant to try on additional gowns, found the most perfect sample gown and made my purchase. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and patient. Then, they referred me to their affiliated alterations department where they later worked wonders with my lace bodice and made the gown fit like a glove. I was thrilled with the bridal shop, service, and overall experience and my husband and guests were wowed by the dress! It was everything I could have hoped for, all thanks to this shop and that gown!

This should be the first place you look when shopping for wedding dresses in central CT! They have a wide selection of dresses in both style and price and have an additional section called Mariella's Attic for the ultra budget conscious bride. The team from the first dress appointment all the way until the final fitting were incredibly accommodating to my needs and concerns. I found my unique, beautiful, budget-friendly dress at the most wonderful family-owned business I could have chanced upon! I went to several dress shops before I found Mariella's and I would recommend this place above any other in a heartbeat!

My daughter, Jenna, chose her dress at Mariella's and our experience there was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. Our sales person was so patient and helpful ,never rushing us and letting Jenna try on so many dresses. When she finally said ,"yes to the dress" we all cried. Seeing her standing there in this ivory and champagne stunning gown with crystals throughout, took my breath away. Jenna lives in the Boston area and Mariella's couldn't have been more accommodating when scheduling her many alteration apts. Margaret was the alteration expert we worked with and made this part of the process so much fun for Jenna and extended family. She was knowledgeable and very experienced. We appreciated all her assistance and time spent making sure Jenna was happy with every detail. After the wedding I brought back the dress and Mariella used their company in NY to preserve the dress. I would totally recommend this store with their excellent staff and beautiful wedding gowns and thank them all for making my daughter's wedding day extra special!

I would definitely recommend Mariellas. They provided excellent and personalized service. I was surprised at how beautiful but cost effective my dress was. I did look a few times to find my perfect dress and they always kept it within my budget and gave excellent recommendations for sizes. Only a little bit had to be taken in. The seamstress was so good with me as I would get nervous about fitting in my dress for each fitting. She was so talented and everything fit perfect on my wedding day. I am so glad I got my dress at Mariella's! My experience in the store was great - I was able to find a beautiful dress that fit my budget. But, to be honest, it was their alterations department that made my whole experience so amazing! I worked with Margaret throughout the alterations process. She was extremely kind and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain everything she was doing, and she wasn't satisfied until I was satisfied! She listened to my concerns about the dress, and she knew exactly what to do to fix them! Even though some changes she had to make were a lot of work, that was never a problem for her. In the end, my dress fit like a glove and looked amazing - all because of her! I would highly recommend that you get your dress from Mariella's!

I had a great experience at Mariella Creations. My consultant was so helpful in finding the dress of my dreams! After it came in, the alterations department was amazing. My dress had a train so I needed a bustle; however, I don’t like the look of most bustles. They created one that didn’t even look like it had been bustled. It was perfect! Also, if you buy your dress from Mariella's, request to have Margaret for your alterations appointments. She was wonderful and very easy to work with.

My experience at Mariella's was everything a bride deserves. I walked into Mariella's with my best friend to have a stress free, fun day of trying on a few gowns. I had no idea this would be the day I found the one! I met with Dora, who was so sweet and honest, which I loved! After trying on dressing that were the style I "thought" I would wear, she asked if she could pull something completely different. Something she thought would look amazing on me. Before I knew it I was in the dress of my dreams, a style I never thought I would even look good in! That was my dress, I knew it, but I wanted to take some time to think about it. Dora never pressured me into purchasing the dress that day, which made me feel like this is the place I want my dress from! A few days later I went back, purchased the dress and then went straight to the bridesmaids and picked those out as well. The service I experienced at Mariella's was exceptional! Not to mention the convenience of having their alterations store and brother store, Formals by Antonio so close. The entire bridal party was picture perfect! Thank you!!

Dora helped me pick out my wedding gown, after trying on just 2 dresses, I knew I was in love. We went back to Mariella's for my cocktail dress and for my mom's Mother of the Bride dress, and found the perfect picks. I purchased a Casablanca Bridal Spring 2015 gown (#2186) from Mariella Creations in February 2015. It was a one-day, one-stop shopping experience for me in finding my dress. Dora was amazing to work with. I told her was I was looking for and after trying on a few dresses she came in with my dress. Before I even tried it on I knew it was "the one". I also purchased a veil and beaded belt to complete the look. The dress took several months to be mad, but since my wedding wasn't until June 2016, there wasn't a rush necessary and everything came together as it should.
I commend the alterations department for being so skilled in their craft. I had to have the dress taken in, and they worked their magic so that even the neckline, which was a little big, was adjusted perfectly.
My experience was Mariella Creations was so positive that my mom even went back to purchase her MOB dress there.

After having a very bad experience with another dress shop in trying to shop for a Mother-of-the-bride dress, we were so happy to have found Mariella Creations in Rocky Hill. Upon walking in the door (without an appointment) we were warmly greeted and pointed in the right direction of where to begin our dress search. We were so happy with the large selection, we were like kids in a candy shop. We quickly found several gowns, which is easy to do because they have so many beautiful gowns and dresses to choose from. We were then helped into a fitting room, and someone was there the whole time to assist us in any way we needed. The first dress I tried on fit like a glove, it was absolutely beautiful! All the ladies that worked in the shop came over to see me in it, they made me feel so amazing. I tried on a few more, but honestly the first dress was the one. It was a Terri John dress, stunning. The only alterations that were needed was a slight hem and some cups needed to be added up top, as I am slightly lacking in that department. Their alterations department was awesome, very professional and their work impeccable. You can also rent or purchase the men's tuxes from them and they have a large selection of Bridesmaids, Jr. Bridesmaids, Flower Girl Dresses and Bridal Gowns. We wish we had found them before we had placed the order for the Bridesmaids dresses at another store. Start with Mariella Creations before you go anywhere else, the place is wonderful!

Mariella's was the second bridal salon I went to after a horrific experience in Boston. Mariella's had a wide range for wedding dresses to select from. On my first visit there I was torn between two dresses, Dora my consultant did not pressure me and instead told me to go home think about it and come back in a few weeks. When I came back I told her exactly what I was looking for, a mixture of the two dresses I loved. Dora immediately pulled a dress and without even trying it on, I said that's my dress! I cannot say better things about Dora, she is absolutely fabulous! I also purchased my belt and veil from Mariella's and both were stunning!
Their alterations department was a pleasure to work with as well! Andrea was so patient with me and altered my dress exactly how I asked.
I highly recommend shopping at Mariella's!

After dealing with a HORRENDOUS experience at Bella Bridesmaids of West Hartford, Mariella's was a miracle. We worked with Mary Morrisey and I can not say enough wonderful things about her. I was so pleased that I found and purchased my dresses from Mariella Creations, thanks to Nella! Yes, that is right dresses. I had two different appointments to find two different wedding dresses and Nella was the amazing consultant that I had the pleasure to work with both times. I didn't really know what I wanted, but I described the feel, environment, and a little bit about myself and my vision to Nella. She listened to me and the wonderful family members that joined me for the two different appointments. She brought in a few different styles for me to try, so that we could all see. Then she went an pulled a couple of different things that she thought would look good and of course I feel in love.
Nella is a very talented professional, who really knows the industry and truly loves what she does. She helped me pick accessories for the dresses and even helped me pick bridesmaids dresses under a time crunch. Nella really went above and beyond for me!

WOW, by far one of the best decisions I could have made was to get my dress at Mariella Creations. The entire staff, especially Dora was so helpful and knew exactly what I was looking for. I had no idea about designers and styles before I went there so what could have been a difficult and lengthy process was quick painless and FUN with Doras expertise. After having an emotional and not-so-great dress experience at another dress shop, I have to say I'm SO GLAD I went to Mariella's. I was taken right to the dresses, showed them, including the price, and put aside the ones I wanted to try. I tried 3 on and after a belt was added to that third dress, that was it. I knew that was the one. Mariella herself came in to congratulate me and measure me. She was so sweet and wonderful. I got my alterations there too and everyone was fabulous. I met with Andrea the first time and she was great! I met with Margaret at the second fitting and when I went to pick up the dress- I loved her! She was genuinely excited for me. I was worried about my bra being seen the day off and she had a answer right away, she put a couple hand stitches on the top of the bra. That was it, everything was perfect. I had an excellent experience with Mariella Creations. I did have some initial concerns coming here based on other reviews and my limited budget, but they proved false. Mariella Creations provided great customer service and helped me find the perfect wedding dress and respected the budget I wanted to stay in. So many beautiful compliments were received on my dress. I had no issues with any of their services and they were especially helpful when one of their veil designers wanted to charge an additional fee for making the veil shorter (less material costs more?). I can't say enough good things about Mariella's. From the moment I called to book my dress appointment to the last fitting they were amazing. I was able to schedule appointments very easily, even with my crazy schedule. The staff was extremely nice and made the whole experience so special. From booking my first appointment with Dora, to my last dress fitting, everyone was fabulous! They will go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect for your wedding day. I was traveling up from NC to my wedding, and they allowed me to come in after hours for a fitting to meet my schedule constraints. They also had to emergency alter my dress they day before the wedding. The ladies that alter the dresses are true professionals and are very experienced. I cannot thank Mariella Creations enough for their help with our wedding attire. Let me just say that I walked in, our salesperson gave me one look, asked me if I had any ideas in mind and pulled about five dresses. The first was absolutely stunning but for fun we tried on a second and that was the perfect one. Immediately after we decided on that dress, my mom and I took a lunch break and decided to come back to see if there were any dresses for her. The same salesperson, Kathy, took one look at her, picked a dress off the rack and asked that she try it on. She insisted that it wasn't her style but she fortunately put it on anyway and it turned out to be the perfect dress! She looked stunning in it and so happy and comfortable.
It was also a pleasure doing business with their alterations shop. It's important to know that they get quite busy and you should book appointments in advance. However, they are exceptionally skilled, talented and customer-service oriented. I could not recommend them or their work enough.

I knew I wanted to get everything from Mariella’s/Formal’s by Antonio because they have great reviews and are a one-stop shop. I was not disappointed! Mariella’s was my 2nd stop for dress shopping and by then I already knew what I wanted. Nella helped me with dresses and I gave her details of what I wanted...the first dress she pulled was THE dress (Lorie by Maggie Sottero). She was a huge help. The alterations staff was wonderful; they even pressed my veil for me though I did not buy it from them. I had no problem getting Saturday appointments at the times I wanted. I also purchased my bridesmaid dresses from there; the ladies downstairs are super helpful even though it gets so busy in the bridesmaid section. The staff at Formal’s was great. Tony is a riot! We had a blast picking out the tuxes with him. When it came time to pick up the tuxes a couple of guys needed their jacket sleeves altered and the staff took care of it right there. All of the staff made dress/tux shopping extremely easy for me!

I got my wedding dress from Mariella's and LOVED it! The seamstress was so talented. The woman helping me choose my dress was so patient and listened to what i wanted. I would absolutley recommend Mariellas.

My wedding dress was the first dress I tried on at Mariella's and I instantly fell in love! The staff at the main store is great and they listen to what you like/dislike. They also have a large selection of various styles of dresses. Other stores I went to had a very limited selection. The alterations department is amazing! My dress fit perfectly and they paid attention to the details. My bridesmaids and my mom also got their dresses at Mariella's and all of them were very satisfied!
