Capturing our moments

Highly recommended, Mariana is very personable. We did our engagement shoot with Mariana where we learned her style and how to prepare ourselves for our wedding day. It made us comfortable on our wedding day with her and her second photographer. Our photos are everything we hoped for capturing our story of our special wedding day. We also had them do a photobooth for us.

Best Wedding Photographer

Mariana was amazing from our initial consultation to the moment we received our wedding album. We did our engagement shoot with her as well and she captured exactly what we were looking for for. I love how she asked a ton of questions to get to know us and what was important to us. Our wedding day was a whole another story-again, because of all the questions she asked, she knew exactly what we wanted. She took total creative control of the day so we could enjoy our special day and we couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. Our pictures are gorgeous and our album is perfect. Huge thanks to Mariana and her assistant for delivering everything she promised and more.

She is the Best!

we absolutely knew we wanted to work with Mariana when she shot my husband's sister's wedding. but we were doubly impressed with her when she shot ours! her ideas for our portraits were absolutely incredible. I love that she was so creative and wonderful! if you are getting married in the Hudson valley, I would definitely recommend her for your photos!

Passionate and professional but still fun and lighthearted

When I was looking for photographers, I had no idea where to begin. I scoured the reviews for local photographers, visited a half dozen websites before I found Mariana, and immediately loved what I saw. When I reached out to her with my idea for a surprise engagement, she was eager to chat details, had many great ideas, and was so excited to be a part of it.

The proposal and engagement photos were beautiful, Mariana has such an eye for detail and really knows how to use the space and lighting to capture the most amazing images. However, it was more than that. Mariana was so great to work with as well. We could tell she really cares so much for her couples and goes above and beyond for them to deliver the best services possible. Once we received our photos from the engagement, absolutely everyone fell in love with them.

When my wife and I met with Mariana to discuss her services for the wedding we left both knowing immediately she was the one. We hired her immediately and honestly never looked back. During the planning and preparation, Mariana was so responsive, organized, and supportive. She was always available to answer any question and offer suggestions.

Our wedding was no different from the other experiences with her and, in fact, it really highlighted Mariana's ability to make the absolute best of anything thrown at her. This was such a relief because I was terrified due to a bit of rain the morning of our wedding. She put us at ease, made us laugh, and was awesome to work with. She is passionate and professional about what she does but still fun and lighthearted and it shows in the simply beautiful photos she delivers. Thank you so much, Mariana, for capturing our special day and it was wonderful working with you!

I honestly don’t even know where to begin with the review! Mariana greatly exceed beyhond all of our expectation. She took the most amazing pictures. Even in 100 plus degree weather she and her assistant were both positive, happy, easy going ,but direct when they had to be (group photos). During the group pictures she quickly got them done so we could get to the party part of the wedding.

She made us feel so comfortable and calm the whole time. Although I had a schedule we just rolled with the punches when something changed, but we didn’t forget anything. Mariana helped us not be so awkward like we are. Lol She asked us different questions like what would you add to your vows ( ex I promise not to shop at micheals craft store ever day ), how did you meet, or what do you love most about each other! These questions really helped us just be more ourselves and more relaxed around the camera!

Mariana was so sweet an thoughtful asking if we needed anything at all! We got married on the hottest day of the year and Mariana still worked her booty off to get the most amazing photos. She also held up a fan for us once we got back in side to help my husband and I to cool off. Needless to say she is a full service photographer!She was silly and fun the whole time and interacted with both of us so easily.

I love her for all these reason, but mostly because she is so real. We feel like we related so easily to her.

Mariana is a photographer whom I would recommend to anyone! She is hard working, caring, sweet person, who you can tell is a master of her craft in so many ways! The way she handles herself while she is shooting, and how she relates to her clients and how her finial products come out!

We are so happy we chose to work with Mariana! She did an amazing job and was such a joy to work with! From the moment I saw the pictures she had taken of another wedding at our venue (FEAST at Round Hill) I knew she was the best choice! Mariana was professional, but also made us feel so comfortable, making it feel like we’ve known her for a long time. She is very accommodating and really listens to what you want, and does whatever she can to make it happen. I was nervous the day of my wedding because I was running late and was worried we wouldn’t be able to get all the pictures I wanted done, but Mariana quickly put me at ease and made sure we got all the shots I wanted. Everything was perfect and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome of both our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures! Mariana was such a pleasure to work with and we would highly recommend her to anyone!

Mariana was a dream to work with! She was extremely professional at all times, but at the same time she was able to make us feel comfortable, as if we had known her our entire lives. She was willing to do anything to get the perfect shot; she laid down in a meadow filled with bugs in order to get the most beautiful pictures of us! She was also extremely punctual to both our engagement shoot and wedding day, and we were always able to reach her by phone or email. I would highly recommend Mariana and her team to anyone!

How do I even begin to describe how incredible our wedding experience with Mariana was? My husband and I love photography so when it came to choosing someone to capture the most important day of our lives, we wanted to make sure we got it right. (And thanks to Mariana we absolutely did!)

We first met her after she was recommended to us by our venue (Arrow Park) and it only took a few minutes for us to realize how special she was! From her truly amazing portfolios, to her exceptional creativity and most importantly her willingness to take suggestions from her clients – we knew we would not have worry about anything on our wedding day.

One of the things I would HIGHLY recommend for all brides, is to schedule an engagement session. We were able to get to know Mariana better and if there were photos taken that did not exactly capture the style we were looking for, she wanted to know so she could tweak her approach and get us exactly what we wanted! Her hard work ethic and dedication to her clients is unmatched. You really feel that she wants to capture your beautiful moments just as much (if not more) than you do!

On our big day, I was afraid that we would have to limit the places we would be able to utilize on the property (since our venue had so many to choose from), but Mariana went above and beyond expectations! It may have taken a few golf cart rides and some running, but she made absolute sure that we took each and every picture that we wanted without taking us away from the party! She even stayed late to take pictures of us at our after party bonfire!

If you are looking for a photographer that can truly capture you at your best while still making you feel comfortable, Mariana is the only choice! She was a pleasure to work with and we would highly recommend her to anyone!

My wife and I were overwhelmed when trying to select a photographer for our wedding day. There are so many to choose from when searching the internet and you only have one chance to get it right. When we came upon Mariana's web page her photos immediately stood out from the crowd as being different. The photos were beautiful, they spoke to us and she captured the emotions of the couple and the wedding day. After a short Skype call we knew we had found our photographer!
We purchased a package that included an engagement photo session which was a great way to meet and get comfortable with each other which helped things run smoothly on our wedding day. We also got many beautiful photos which confirmed we made the right choice and got us excited for our wedding day. Our package also included a photo album for those of us "old school" folks that still like to hold pictures in our hands!
After our wedding we obsessively checked her web site and our email for our photos, we simply could not wait! When we got them we were blown away by how amazing they came out, so many great photos to cherish for the rest of our lives! It is a good thing Mariana is selecting photos for our album for us because there are too many amazing ones that we will never be able to choose on our own. We received many compliments from friends and family about the style and beauty of our photos.
Mariana is so talented, so great to work with, super flexible and really captured our wedding day in a way we will not soon forget. We would highly recommend her to anyone!

Our experience with Mariana was nothing short of amazing. She is a complete perfectionist and it shows in her incredible work. Our first experience with Mariana was a telephone conference where we explained what we were looking for and she got to know my husband and I as a couple. She traveled down to New York City with us to take engagement photos and while they were amazing photos, they weren’t exactly what we were looking for. When we expressed our concern to Mariana, she did not hesitate to offer us another engagement shoot to ensure that we received the pictures that we wanted. She really listened to my husband and I and captured us perfectly in the second engagement shoot. Finally, the day of our wedding the weather was not on our side. It rained most of the day and the grounds were soaked. I was so worried that our pictures were not going to be what we had dreamed of. However, the dreary weather did not stop Mariana from creating beautiful photos. It was a challenge to pick which photos we wanted for the album because they are all amazing. From start to finish Mariana Feely is the ultimate professional, with incredible talent. My husband and I wholeheartedly recommend her!

I recently got married and had Mariana document our wedding. We were so happy with her and her team! Mariana kept us moving and was very professional, respectful, organized, flexible and understanding. She's got a great personality and tries her best to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera.

With our package, we had engagement photos, an engagement book/guest book and an open air photo booth. Each of which we were very happy with. Mariana was great with listening to our requests and modifying to what we liked. She gave us a great deal of information prior to the day and always responded promptly to our emails.

During our wedding day, we couldn't help but notice how hard Mariana worked and how determined she was to getting each shot right. She kept us on time as well!

We really are so impressed with Mariana and are so glad that we came across her. Her work is just beautiful (and I am picky when it comes to photos) she is easy to work with and has a positive approach to each scenario. Of all of our vendors, she was our favourite! I wrote this review since all of my wedding vendor choices were based off of these reviews and I really took them seriously. I can assure you that if you go with Mariana, you will be so happy with the outcome!

I looked at dozens of wedding photographers, and even ones that had good reviews didn't seem right. I didn't think I was picky, but every picture looked the same, and I knew it wasn't what I wanted. It wasn't until I met with Mariana and looked through her portfolio that I realized what I did want - pictures that looked natural and genuine. Working with Mariana was a great experience - she was warm, and made posing for pictures a quick, easy, and enjoyable process. And most importantly, I loved the product - the pictures came out beautifully.

Our wedding was this past August 28th. Working with Mariana was extremely fun and easy. My now husband and I were planning the wedding from a different state, and Mariana was very flexible in accommodating us for the engagement photo section and also for phone calls. The communication between Mariana and us was great, which to me, was extremely important during the whole planning process. She not only prepared us for the wedding day but also for the engagement photo section that happened before the wedding. The day of the wedding, Mariana and her 2nd photographer were excellent not only with us but also with our family and vendors. She was able to take pictures pretty quickly so that we could enjoy the wedding to the maximum, which we did! Since Mariana speaks Spanish like my family, she was able to communicate with my family so that she could accomplish all the photo shots we all wanted. There were some delays on our wedding day timeline, and Mariana was able to manage it pretty well. She was very professional and flexible to adapt to changes, which is important in a date where things could definitely be hectic. Her personality really helped in keeping the festive vibes for the entire wedding. As a bride, I felt no stress but happiness thanks to the amazing work of Mariana and the rest of the team that helped us in celebrating our wedding.
OH! I can’t forget to mention that shortly after the wedding, Mariana shared some of the pictures taken and OH MY GOD!! They took my breath away! Botton line is, I totally recommend her.

Mariana is amazing! My husband and I were both a bit nervous about photography, because we wanted great pictures but both get a little uncomfortable in front of a camera. With Mariana this was NOT an issue. She was so fun and warm that we quickly felt at ease with her. During our portraits she was able to keep us laughing and happy, but also give us space at times to share intimate moments which she captured beautifully. I can not say enough wonderful things about her and hope that others are lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with her.

I found Mariana through a wedding vendor website and count my blessings I did. From the moment she responded to my inquiry, to the goodbye after our small intimate wedding dinner, she was the one and only person I would trust to capture our most important and cherished memories. I didn't meet Mariana until the day of my wedding...my choice due to a hectic schedule and living out of state at the time...but from our phone calls and emails she felt like someone I knew all my life. The moment I met her, it was like a reunion with an old friend. She made our day effortless. Her directions were so relaxed and her photography is exquisite. She captured every detail without being intrusive. I can't express my gratitude to her because after the day is over, the memories and pictures are what remain and I am so grateful that I have her photographs that captured our day so perfectly.

I had spent quite some time looking for the perfect photographer. Of course to capture our story and personalities, but also to be able to feel comfortable capturing our Russian Orthodox wedding ceremony. I had a number of meetings with photographers, but when I first met with Mariana, I cancelled the rest of them and booked her. She has great energy and she has great suggestions, while being attentive and respectful to our preferences.

We had Mariana also take our engagement photos. She travelled to the college where we met. It was helpful for us to get comfortable with Mariana and for Mariana to get a sense of who we are. She did a wonderful job. Of course, at first, my husband and I were uneasy posing for the camera, but it did not take long for us be unable to stop laughing. Mariana did a great job!

We had a walk through of our ceremony with the deacon the day before the wedding. She definitely did not have to come, but she did (to get a feel for the lighting in the church and to get a feel for the service) and it made us feel even more comfortable about her photographing our big day!

We also rented the photobooth from Mariana. Our guests had a lot of fun taking photos there!

Mariana and her second photographer did an amazing job photographing our wedding. The photos from the ceremony were beautiful. Our portraits moved along quickly so that we could get to the party. And they captured all the special moments during the reception.

We received our photos within 3 weeks after the wedding. I continue to look through them over and over and I cannot stop smiling when I do. Mariana went above and beyond to make sure that she captured our big day perfectly! I highly recommend her!!

I found Mariana on Wedding Wire originally and couldn't have been more pleased with our wedding photographer choice! From the moment we first met her, we instantly hit it off and knew right away that she would be amazing to work with! Her incredible photos speak for themselves and we could not wait to shoot our engagement photos and even more excited to have Mariana capture the most important day of our lives, our wedding this past October. We just received the shots from our event and OH MY GOODNESS... I cannot stop looking at them and posting them :) I am THRILLED with the work Mariana and her team has done. I am so proud, happy and ecstatic to have these beautiful images forever, to show to our children and grandchildren so they can truly feel like they were there with us. Mariana and her assistant were amazing. Above and beyond our expectations! She seemingly effortlessly struck the balance between being completely on top of it and being completely fun! She was punctual, kept diligent track of all the shots we had gone over pre-wedding and executed everything very seamlessly. I'm sure there were a couple of wild hairs on our part, and she handled everything with elegance and ease. By the time she and her assistant left the reception, I felt like I was saying goodbye to an old friend!

Aside from her personal demeanor and on-the-job precision, Mariana was so great at helping us plan our photographic vision before the wedding. She went out of her way to Skype with us and talk whenever we had a question. She was so very easy to work with during what is always a frazzled few months leading up to the big day.

And of course, her photos were stunning. She really captured the energy and spirit of the day. I can't believe it's taken me this long to write this review, because I've been boasting about her ever since the wedding. Not only did she somehow manage to get the images to us fairly quickly, she gave us access to a vast gallery of shots to choose from. And they were sublime. Her style is exactly what we wanted. We were so lucky to find Mariana and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an awesome wedding photographer!!

We had a great experience from start to finish with Mariana Feely Photography! We just got our wedding photos back and were so happy (but not really surprised at all) to see that we have so many beautiful ones to choose from. From the first few conversations that we had with her when we were looking for a photographer, I could tell that Mariana got our vision and our style. That was confirmed after our engagement shots and solidified once again now that the wedding is over. Mariana made us both feel at ease and was super encouraging as she took her shots. She was fun to have around all day long and made sure to capture a list of shots I had requested. Even more impressive, she did this just eight days after having a baby! Her hard work and dedication to her couples really shows in her photos. Terrific value! We wholeheartedly recommend Mariana.

We just got our engagement pictures posted by Mariana and EVERYONE was totally obsessed with them around Facebook they talk about how beautiful the pictures were. Friends told me that they couldn't believe how well she captured our love even though my boyfriend doesnt like romantinc pictures. Not only were the photos better than I imagined, but the process was great as well. My fiancé and I both felt a little nervous because we had never really done a photo shoot before- but Mariana helped us feel totally comfortable and loosen up. 100% recommended!

Where do I even start… I can’t even describe how happy we were to have Mariana as our wedding photographer! Photography was one of the most important aspects of the wedding to us, and we could not have been happier with how our photos turned out! Anyone can see how incredibly talented she is by looking at her photos, but she is also very fun, creative, and professional. We are not photogenic AT ALL, so I was amazed when I saw how beautiful all our portraits looked. She really knows how to put you at ease, our whole bridal party was joking around with her. Her personality really played a big part in why our photos look so natural. We’ve gotten so many compliments on our photos and our album, we couldn’t be happier! I wish I could give her more than 5 stars!

Mariana was wonderful as our wedding photographer!. We had a very small intimate outdoor wedding, and the pictures from our wedding are incredible- artistic and beautiful, yet highlighting all the details we wanted captured from our day. She listened to us and was more then accommodating to travel to a special location after the ceremony. The photos are great and we will treasure them forever.

Our wedding photos were beautiful, unique photos that we will surely adore and treasure for many years to come. Mariana is such a delight to have as part of the event! She knew instinctively how to direct my family for the best pictures, but also when to step back to capture many special spontaneous moments and her eye for personal and beautiful moments has made reviewing the photos so much fun. Her pictures tell a story and showcase her beautiful, unique perspective. She had great suggestions for making some of the posed pictures seem more natural which also made them more flattering to both of us. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Mariana is very personable and flexible -- willing to work with any situation. She can vanish into the woodwork and come up with beautiful pictures, but isn't afraid to be assertive to get in the right place at the right time. Her photographs came out beautifully, and she was really able to capture the right moments. Highly recommended.

Mariana was a pleasure to work with and the quality of her photography is top-notch! We wanted a photographer who could capture the day as it happened (photojournalism if you will). Mariana did just that and made us look great without re-touching the photos too much. She has an almost whimsical style that worked really well in our rustic setting but I'm sure she is capable of anything. She was also very responsive. We felt very comfortable with her, particularly with posed photographs which can feel a bit awkward. Her assistant the day-of the wedding was fantastic too! Mariana's services won't break the bank, which doesn't hurt :) We felt for the quality of her work she could probably charge quite a bit more. Overall, we were super pleased and recommend her wholeheartedly.

My husband and I could not be happier with the result of our pictures, they all look so amazing!! The overall experience working with Mariana was effortless! She really made a process that can sometimes be stressful, very easy for us. From our initial interaction, she were more than willing to accommodate our needs due to the distance. Even when we were a few days late on our payment she were more than understanding, and reminded us of the deadline! She really took the time to get to know us and our style. I really feel as though our pictures are a showcase our personal style, and an overview of our entire day. You cannot even tell it was raining!! For me, this was one of the most important aspects to our big day, and again I really could not be happier with the beautiful pictures she captured!
