Nadia is an amazing make up artist. When I reached out to her two weeks in advance for my city hall wedding, she promptly shared her reasonable pricing as well as asked follow up questions. She was flexible in meeting me rather than me meeting at her studio for an additional fee. She also provided her advise and recommendations when I was not as sure of what I'd like.
When I gave her make up inspiration she would ask what I liked about the pictures and helped give me the soft natural glam look I was looking for.
Attached are before and after pictures, so you can see she's done a great job evening out my skin tone, covering my blemishes, and helping me shine! Make up took about an 75 minutes and hair also took about that look. We took a 10 minute break in between.
She also does take before and after photos and does a meticulous job with hair and make up. I also appreciated the touch up kit she provided after for lips, oiliness, or just some extra foundation.
I highly recommend Mari Marry! -

Nadia did a great job on hair and makeup for myself, my family, and my wedding party. She understood the natural look I was going for, especially for asian features, and was able to create a look that I thought suited me very well.
She also was very punctual and created an amazing timeline for the day. We had a mishap with our venue opening late, and she was still able to complete everyone's makeup on time. Our wedding day was perfect, and we could not have done it without her. -

I had such a great experience with Nadia for my wedding makeup and hair. She was calm, professional, and really easy to work with from the trial to the wedding day. Nadia listened to what I wanted and created a look that felt like me, natural, polished, and long lasting. My makeup stayed perfect all day through photos, happy tears, and dancing, and my hair held up beautifully too. I got so many compliments and truly felt like the best version of myself. I would highly recommend Nadia to any bride who wants someone talented, kind, and reliable. -

Asian Makeup Style Wedding Look
If I’m asked if there are some things I miss about wedding planning, it’s working with my coordinator and Nadia. Nadia exceeded my expectations from preparation to ideas to trial session to the day of my wedding. I gave her my inspiration pictures and pictures of myself early on to discuss what worked with me. I wanted a Thai makeup style glam look for my wedding and a Korean makeup style soft glam look for my engagement shoot. She took into account my color analysis results to better complement my complexion. Her professionalism was great when it came to what ideas would fit the look and what wouldn’t. When I couldn’t decide on false lashes, she put two different types on each eye for me to compare. Haven’t gotten back my wedding pictures yet, but my engagement pictures came back beautiful. She asked questions about my outfits and locations to better plan what conditions my hair would have to go through. As a type A planner, it was reassuring to get her response in a reasonable time frame. Other makeup artists that I inquired with came back to me after a week. She was also incredibly kind when I’d ask makeup and skincare questions. She’d suggest techniques and products to use to clear up my skin before the wedding, and my skin definitely cleared up.
For the day of my wedding, talking to her had calmed me down when my bridesmaids were busy. She’s easy to talk to and so kind and funny. I picked the 9hr Amora package, and it was so worth it. She adjusted to changes my mother and coordinator would throw like pushing back something on the timeline. Both my bridesmaids have different styles of makeup, and Nadia did them real good. One wanted South East Asian style and the other wanted a more Westernized style. Both their looks were great and what they wanted. Having Nadia do my hair and makeup was one of the best wedding planning decisions I made. Truly loved working with her. -

Nadia did my bridal hair and makeup for our small wedding in September 2025. I don't really wear makeup, and wanted to look like myself but a little elevated. Nadia really delivered, with minimal direction from me. From our initial trial to the actual wedding day, Nadia was punctual, communicative, reasonably priced, and meticulous as she worked her magic. I was self-conscious because my hair is thin and low-density, and she somehow made it look like I had a lot more hair and volume! Our ceremony was on a windy beach, and my hair held up all afternoon and night. I got so many compliments, and guests kept asking who did my hair and makeup. If I had 100 weddings, I would choose Nadia as my HMUA 100 times! -

Excellent artistry and professionalism
Nadia went above and beyond on for my makeup and hair for SF City Hall elopment and again for a wedding reception a few weeks later.
I had a pretty clear vision of the look I wanted to achieve for my special day but definetly not enough skill to execute it. Nadia made kind suggestions that really elevated the look such as getting highlights and hair extensions which looked incredible in pictures. She meticulously studied my features and made the inspiriation pictures compliment my face. After the trial, I had very few notes because she absolutely nailed it.
On the day of the event, Nadia shaped my eyebrows meticuolously and applied lots of skin prep - I felt incredibly pampered. She really took her time to ensure every eyelash, eyebrow and strand of hair was in the right place. I received so many compliments from people at city hall and at the reception. The makeup lasted all day and the hair looked the same at midnight compared to the morning.
I would highly reccomend if you are looking for a talented, professional artist to make your wedding hair and makeup vision come to life! -

Nadia did the makeup for my two-day wedding. The first day was a traditional Hindu wedding, the second day was a more Western wedding alongside some Chinese ceremonies. Nadia has a great range as a makeup artist, accommodating for both a more showy, "Bollywood" look for day 1 as well as a more natural, glowy look for day 2. She was also very helpful in setting realistic expectations with two very demanding mothers. -

Nadia was absolutely the right choice for my wedding day hair and makeup. She is communicative, responsive, and detail-oriented. I'm not someone who wears makeup every day, so I wanted to have as natural a look as possible. Nadia listened to my wishes and made me feel absolutely beautiful. I felt like myself and my hair and makeup lasted all night long--through wind, sweaty dancing, and everything in between. She helped me figure out what I wanted to do with my look between my hair and makeup trial and wedding day, even assisting me with what I should communicate to my regular hair stylist to make sure my hair was ready for the updo I chose. Nadia was on time and flexible--I got ready in an Airstream trailer onsite at my venue and she made it all work beautifully. My mom, MIL, and officiant also all loved having their hair done by her. I would absolutely recommend her if you're looking for an incredible experience on your wedding day! -

Nadia was so great to work with. She really takes the time to understand exactly what you want for your looks and she delivers. She is a perfectionist and takes the time to take a step back and make sure that everything is flawless which was truly appreciated! Nadia is super amazing! Nadia and Ivy did our hair and makeup for my wedding and they did an amazing job. In so thankful that Nadia was a part of my day. I really like my makeup more natural and she did just that. She is also super professional and flexible. I ran into an issue where we had to change the times for getting ready and she helped me figure it all out. I loved that she gave me a little package of things I may need to touch up on my makeup. -

Nadia is awesome! She’s on time, she’s professional, friendly and listens to what you want! I enjoyed working with her. She’s so good with her skills and she puts in a lot of effort to plan “the look” - but, she still makes sure that she respects the bride’s preference and weave in what I wanted. She’s the best! Amazing + professional!
I absolutely loved that Nadia was part of my wedding day. She was professional from the very beginning and always wanted to make sure that everything she did for me was to my liking. She asks of my opinion continuously to make sure that I was up-to-speed, which I really appreciated. She did my makeup and hair, along with 3 of my bridesmaids' makeup and hair, as well. They all loved her as well and felt that she was a wonderful addition to our wedding day. I'd highly recommend everyone to hire Nadia!! -

I hired Nadia to do my makeup and hair as a bridesmaid’s make up before and I really like it. Later I hired her for my City Hall engagement session too. I was very happy with Nadia’s work and would recommend her services. She was professional, friendly, responsive. Most importantly, she knew what style suit me the best and at the same time being very sensitive to what I want and I need. I was so amazed with how she created a natural look on me and made me beautiful and natural as I don’t usually put make up on my face. Overall really amazing experience and Nadia is just very pleasant to work with! Highly, highly recommend! -

Highly Recommended MUA!!
Nadia is amazing!! She did my make-up and hair for my wedding photoshoot that I scheduled very last minute and she was very accommodating. I showed her some inspirational photos and she was able to recreate the style very easily that matched my best persona. She was very patient with what I wanted and all my silly concerns. Not only that, she was very attentive to the little details and added beautiful touches when I changed into a different dress during the photoshoot.
On top of that, I was very impressed my make-up and hair stayed in placed for the entire day! Throughout my experience, Nadia is very professional, talented, and very hygienic with her makeup tools, which was very important to me. She was very easy to work with and I would highly recommend Nadia!! Thank you so much again and so grateful you were my MUA! -

Nadia is a phenomenal makeup artist. Her talent is unquestionable & she's easy to work with. Her service is worth your money. She did an amazing job with my hair & make-up (also with my daughter's hair). She made my face look fresh and was able to accentuate my features without making me feel over done. It was also flawless at the end of a long night of dancing! I never even had to touch anything up, except for the gloss. I loved it and I have great pictures to prove it. As someone who never wears makeup (does Vaseline for chapped lips count?) and whose idea of styling her hair is brushing it after it's air-dried post-shower, hiring a hair and makeup artist for my wedding was daunting. I wanted to look like me, but still feel special on my wedding day. How to find someone who could find that balance for me when I could barely articulate what that meant? Thankfully Nadia understood with little direction and made me feel so beautiful! She'd ask me questions. To which I'd shrug my shoulders. She'd gently make some suggestions. And then BAM! Perfection.
What's more, my wedding was on a beach with the wind blowing fiercely and the first thing my sister in law said to me post-ceremony was, "How is your hair still flawless??"

Limited Hair Styling Abilities (and won't admit it)
I had a bad experience with Nadia for my hair & makeup trial. She may be a skilled makeup artist, but her hair styling abilities are limited and she is not the kind of vendor who will admit it. Prior to my trial, I sent Nadia photos and descriptions of my hair as well as the style I wanted, which was just a high french braid.
Nadia was not able to create a french braid. The top of it just looked weird and messy, and she isn't aware of how to fluff a braid to make it look more voluminous and extend the length. I tried to be really respectful and I asked her if we needed to get extensions, or if my hair just couldn't handle the style, but she insisted that my trial photo looked like the inspiration picture (take a look for yourself in the attached photos to see!). I don't appreciate being gaslighted, or paying for a style that's not done correctly, so I did not hire Nadia for my wedding. I hired a more experienced stylist who did an amazing job with the exact same hair - no extensions.
Hair trials are so expensive, it really sucks to have a failed trial with a stylist who refuses to acknowledge that your request is beyond her abilities. I even appreciate Nadia trying, but once she clearly could not succeed, she should have at least offered a discount or something. Subsequent to the trial, your concerns were promptly addressed via email, where we provided comprehensive details about the adjustments made to your hairstyle, aiming to provide clarity and transparency.
When our clients ask about hair or lash extensions, we do not encourage add-on services that will cost more for the clients unless we truly think it is necessary. Based on our experience, we did not recommend for you to add on hair extensions.
While we are delighted that you discovered a hairstylist for your wedding whom you resonate with, we regret that we cannot extend discounts or refunds for trial sessions. Our discount policies are primarily structured around bridal packages rather than individual trial sessions.
We meticulously reviewed the photos you shared, comparing them to our work, and acknowledge that our interpretation did not align with your envisioned outcome. We genuinely apologize for any miscommunication that may have contributed to this divergence.

Before the day of the wedding, we had some trouble communicating over email, where she just did not understand or respond to what I was asking for. Due to this, she seemed to be in a bad mood upon arrival. She barely spoke during the session and was rude to not just me but also my photographer when she did speak. She added so much length to my eyebrows that they looked comical - there's no way it was an accident. I had to ask her repeatedly not to add the extra inch to the ends of my brows which she begrudgingly adjusted. Overall due to what felt like vengeful behavior, I felt anxious and hideous. I genuinely feel she intentionally made my makeup look bad and I had to stay on top of her and ask her to fix it. She could've ruined my day but thankfully my day was about more than just my appearance. I also fixed things a bit more after she left. To any anxious brides who need their vendors to be reasonably supportive, stay far far away from her.
\\\\\\Update///// I am disappointed to see that the business owner has responded with inaccuracies and unauthorized photos of me. This is just more proof she cannot gracefully handle friction as a wedding vendor should. The "after" photos shown were only achieved after I repeatedly requested extreme corrections to the initial application, so I don't think they are showing what she thinks they are showing.
Communication: I have *documented* email chains showing delayed responses and instances where my wedding planner had to intervene to ensure instructions were followed.
COVID Policies: The claim that silence was due to 2023 mandates is inaccurate; no such restrictions were in effect at that time.
Professionalism: My concerns regarding the vendor's demeanor were echoed by other professionals on-site that day. I believe a vendor's response to feedback is a key indicator of their professionalism. Thank you for sharing your experience. I’d like to clarify a few points, as this service took place over 2 years ago. I’ve reviewed our records and did not find any unresolved communication issues prior to the wedding. Our last email exchange was about 10 days before the event regarding additional services for family members, and everything was communicated smoothly. At that time in 2023, COVID safety precautions were still in place. I wore a mask during the service and kept conversation minimal while working closely on makeup application. We discussed the desired look before starting, and I checked in throughout the process. I do not recall any concerns being raised during the service. Regarding the eyebrow comment, I take my work very seriously and would never intentionally exaggerate a client’s features. I always invite feedback and adjustments before I leave, and I also took photos immediately after the makeup and hair were completed. These images show balanced brows consistent with standard brow mapping. I would never intentionally make a client look bad. If concerns had been shared at the time, I would have been happy to adjust. No issues were communicated during or after the wedding, including in follow up communication. I respect that experiences and memories can feel different over time, and I wish you all the best.
