  From Dress Disaster to Masterpiece!

  After a bridal salon completely botched my measurements, I wound up with a gown WAY too small and quite disproportionate to my body. I was a "budget bride" with a dress disaster. Nothing about it fit, especially since I am tall with a long torso, large bust, and small waist. I spent weeks searching for the right person to fix this mess. I only wanted the best and wow, I found it! Margo restructured my entire gown to perfection. She also handled some extra customizations for me, including joining together the deep plunge neckline (with perfectly matched lace!), removing the zipper back & adding a corset, and adding a bustle. The dress is two-toned multi-layered champagne/ivory lace with silver metallic threading and silver glitter throughout the layered tulle skirt. Margo's work was seamless (forgive the pun!) - it looked like the entire gown was made just for me. My dress was pretty to begin with, but it became a show-stopper!
  In addition to her incredible work, she is simply amazing to work with. She was so patient and helpful throughout all my emails, calls, and design finalizations. I had a blast at my dress fittings! Margo is so enjoyable to be around and always kept me smiling. Her sister helped me at my final fitting & pick up appointment - she is an absolute angel too! Also, their studio is gorgeous!

  Hands Down the Best

  I went with my sister 6 years ago for her alterations appointment with Margo West and was impressed with Margo’s professionalism, timeliness, pricing, and how beautiful my sister’s dress turned out! So of course now that it’s my turn to walk down the aisle, Margo was the only person I considered for my own dress. She did not disappoint! The experience was just as amazing this time around, and I can’t wait to wear my perfectly altered dress in a few months!

  Absolutely flawless!

  When I found out I would be 8 months pregnant for my sister's wedding, I was very stressed about being able to alter my bridesmaids dress to both fit my growing bump and still look similar to the other girls. Margot was amazing and exceeded my expectations for what I thought would be possible! She was very flexible and met with me multiple times leading up to the wedding. My final fitting was even the week of the wedding so we could make sure the dress would fit. Not only did it fit, but it fit comfortably and looked amazing next to the other girls! I would not hesitate recommending Margot to any bridesmaid or bride.

  Perfection

  Ms. Margo and her staff did a wonderful job on my wedding gown alterations. I asked to turn my fit and flare style dress to be transformed to a mermaid silhouette. She gave it the perfect amount of “mermaid” without taking away from the original beauty and design of the dress. She was very patient and allowed multiple fittings to ensure I was pleased with the progress. My goal was to see my husband cry as I walked down the aisle, and my goal was accomplished. I highly recommend Margo West Alterations.

  Berta | Margo West Bridal Alterations

  The women at MWBA are so much fun to work with! They made a Berta wedding gown fit like a glove on a 5’1” petite person. My dress had intricate detailing and they handled everything grace — getting rid of tulle, not compromising the glitter + 3D flowers and most importantly the bustle!!! I had a monster of a train and MWBA tackled this challenge without removing any material and kept the the beauty of the silhouette. Wedding alterations were not cheap but it was worth it!

  The women at MWBA are so much fun to work with! They made a Berta wedding gown fit like a glove on a 5’1” petite person.   Margo and her staff were an absolute DREAM to work with! I took my wedding dress to her after a bridal shop recommending her and I could not be happier. There were quite a few things that needed to be done (add sleeves, attach top and bottom, take in, etc.) and she had it done and ready for me extremely fast! I even took it home the day of my first fitting! Although, when I got it home there was an issue I noticed and called her immediately. She was SO supportive and willing to get it fixed as soon as possible! I could not be more thankful for Margo and her team!!

  Loved my alterations!

  I went to Margo West to have my wedding dress hemmed and added sleeves as well. Pat & Margo did an amazing job with the addition of my sleeves. My dress was absolutely beautiful! I'm so thankful I chose Margo West Bridal Alterations. Awesome service and attention to detail! I would choose them over and over again. Thanks SO much!!

  Margo worked her magic, if fit amazing and looked as if it was never touched! Ever bead, lace and design was perfect.
  On time! One price! Beautiful work! She even gave my Bachelorette jumper a little hem for me.

We used her for our daughter's wedding gown alterations in May of 2018, and recently gave her our dress for cleaning and preserving. Margo also does dress design, redesign, and , hands down, offers the finest alterations.. You can do no better. On top of this, Margo is a delight to know!

  A friend recommended Margo West to me and I'm so glad she did! Their staff was able to add the exact color of purple crinoline I wanted to the base of my dress. They took my online store dress and made it feel really special.

  mishap that I experienced because I had purchased a wedding dress from a store in Houston that could not be altered to fit me. It would of been a reconstruction. Margo put me in touch with a contact of hers that has a wedding dress consignment and with only 2 months till my wedding day I not only was able to find a beautiful dress but Margo & her staff still had time to do the alterations.

  My beautiful wedding dress was halter top & I wanted to add sleeves that matched all the swarovski crystals and lace on the dress. I looked thru hundreds of pictures and anytime sleeves were added you could tell it did not exactly match the dress! Well Margo Alterations and her team did the most amazing job at adding the sleeves and making sure my sleeves matched the dress exactly. They spent countless hours working on adding the swarovski crystals and lace by hand to make sure the sleeves matched my dress exactly. My dress was very beautiful to begin with but they made even more stunning and it fit my shape perfectly. They are very professional, patient, and do an incredible job!!!
