Your own personal fairy godmother!

My husband and I came to Margaret’s with all of our wedding attire needs. Naomi handmade my veil and altered my 100% silk Augusta Jones dress, and Sandra hemmed my husband’s suit. Additionally, Margaret’s Cleaners handled the cleaning and restoration of my gown. They also cleaned and pressed my husband’s suit. Our experience with all of these services was nothing sort of excellent.

Naomi created my dream cathedral-length veil for a fraction of the cost had I purchased it in store. Her alterations on my gown were done impeccably, and my dress fit me to a T. Naomi is the sweetest person to work with and she put me at ease knowing my gown was in excellent, loving hands. She listened to every concern I had without judgement, allowing me to rest easy in the decisions we made. She was my fairy godmother for a few months, and I feel so fortunate that I got to work with her.

Additionally, the restoration process is second to none—once again, I felt safe entrusting my gown to them. While Margaret’s services may cost more than other providers, you really get what you pay for.

Brides, look at their restoration process and how it differs (and is superior to) other cleaners! Also, nothing looks better than a dress that is fitted to your height and shape. My dress was already gorgeous, but once it was altered to fit me (hemmed, back-stitch at the bust, letting the lining out a smidge in my hips, properly bustled), it was DIVINE. My very picky, exercise and fashion obsessed aunt said my dress looked like it was made for me no less than three times.

All in all, Margaret’s Cleaners (and especially Naomi) ensured our wedding outfits arrived impeccably clean and completely suited to our figures. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

My Mom's Treasured Gown from 1956 restored to perfection!

We sent Margaret's Couture Bridal our mother's wedding gown from 1956. The gown had been in the same box for 68 years. When we opened it, it was yellowed, with stains the previous cleaner had never removed. Margaret's brought the gown's creamy silk back to almost the original shade of cream and replaced the lace on the veil, which had torn and become fragile over the years of storage. Her niece can now wear the gown at her wedding.

Restored Vera Wang Wedding Dress

They brought the beauty back to my dress, cleaning the most delicate jeweled stitching and removing 20-year-old set-in stains. This dress has the same glistening silk as the day I wore it. The care in wrapping and packaging was above and beyond. Thank you, Margaret's I will be sending all my delicate cleaning to you as I will continue to use your Clean-By-Mail service.

Lupita is incredible!

I had the absolute best experience with Lupita at Margaret’s! I came in with only 10 days before leaving for my wedding trip, and she somehow managed to create the most beautiful bustle for my very complicated dress. My gown had so many layers, and she still made it look effortless. She created 25 individual bustle points and even color-coded each one to make it easy for my helper on the wedding day. Thanks to Lupita, I was able to wear the dress of my dreams all night long. I’m so grateful for her talent, patience, and attention to detail!

Amazing experience

I had a wonderful experience at Margaret’s Cleaners, and I can’t say enough good things about Lupita. I came in feeling stressed after a previous seamstress left pinholes and a snag in my wedding dress. Lupita immediately put my mind at ease. She carefully looked over the gown and helped me understand that the only alteration needed was simply crossing the straps in the back, since the dress is cut on the bias.

She was incredibly professional, kind, and knowledgeable, and I truly appreciated the time she spent with me. Her expertise made me feel confident and reassured during what could have been a very stressful moment. Legacy Bridal Gown Restoration

If considering the use of a legacy bridal gown, do not hesitate to use Margaret's Cleaners. My daughter wished to use my 46 yo couture bridal gown and veil from 1979. The original champagne color of the satin and lace bridal gown had changed to a horrible coffee color with several dark brown stains. Brittany Peyton, Bridal Manager provided a clear overview of the restoration process, potential for possible poor outcome, repair work that might be needed due to restorative cleaning and cost/time frame for each component. Following two soak cleanings over several days and individualized stain attention, the dress was once again returned to it's original color after years of storage in a cedar chest. I wish I was able to show photos with this review! The transformation was astounding. The gown was now ready for alterations and repairs to seams and lace detail due fabric and thread being 46 years old. Enter Lupita De La Mora, Couture and Bridal Alterations master seamstress. Her knowledge of fabric and fitting techniques was astounding, honed as the former costumer and seamstress for the Los Angeles Opera. She was very open to alteration concerns and was able to present her thoughtful ideas on how to make them a reality. Over the course of three fittings (coordinated by Brittney), Lupita expertly altered the waist, bust line and proportions of the lace sleeve settings and reset delicate bodice lace to lie smoothly on my daughters frame. She reset the back zipper and replaced a multitude of rusted snaps. Several tears/holes in the bridal lace magically disappeared under her needle. She procured a new slip to support the gown and altered the same to perfect length and proportions and her suggestions to modernize the bridal veil were spot on. It must be noted that there was a substantial amount of hand sewing of delicate lace atop satin. All seams were finished to perfection and she also created a way for the bridal train to be draped and lifted beautifully by a wrist strap for the brides ease of movement at the wedding reception. I cannot emphasize enough how skilled Lupita's work is ... she is a master seamstress who made this couture gown come alive again. My daughter dreamed of wearing my bridal gown at her own wedding. I was pleased that the expense of restoration and alteration was actually comparative to the cost of a new (non couture) gown and alteration of same. Again, Bridal Manager Brittany was quite forthcoming on pricing for cleaning as well as alterations. I even knew the cost of failure if the original cleaning outcome was not as hoped ... but that certainly was not the outcome! With a beautiful bridal gown as the centerpiece for a lovely and memorable wedding, Margaret's should definitely be on one's short list of consultations by individuals desiring couture restoration services in the United States. Located in San Diego, it was well worth my daughter flying in from South Lake Tahoe for the initial consultation and all fittings. My sincere thank you and gratitude to Lupita De La Mora, Brittney Peyton and the Margaret's employees behind the scenes for making our legacy bridal gown restoration experience so positive. Each visit was a delight creating more happiness and excitement for the bride ... just as it should be as she approached her wedding day.

Great experience!

Met with Brittany Peyton, Bridal Manager at the San Diego Convoy Street location for the boxing of my beautiful wedding dress. I was able to see the dress all cleaned up and placed nicely in the box with tissues and white glove treatment. I got to take photos with my dress and was given white gloves as well if I wanted to touch the dress. Brittany was very knowledgeable and informative and was very patient with all of the questions we had. Very personable. She said that I should come back with the dress in about 3-5 years to check on it and they would be more than happy to re-box it for me and as that service comes with my warranty. The cost to clean the dress and veil was about $866 (that was with a $100 discount) and since the dress was thousands of dollars, I think it is worth it since they cleaned it and fixed anything that needed repair. Their attention to detail and care along with the warranty for future care makes it worth it. My mom recommend this place as well as the bridal boutique that I got the dress from, Blush Bridal. I now recommend this place for high end garments.

Great Experience with Cleaning and Preservation!

I had a great experience with Brittany at Margaret’s! I had my wedding gown pressed here before the wedding, and cleaned and preserved after the wedding. They did an amazing job with the cleaning, my wedding was on the beach so the hem and train were very dirty from being in the sand all night. They were even able to repair a few tears in the tulle, and fix some loose beads. I loved that they gave me a booklet with before and after photos, my gown looked like it had never been worn! I also chose to have my gown preserved in a beautiful box for safekeeping, along with my veil. The box is museum quality preservation, so it won’t get ruined over time. Brittany kept in touch with me through every step, and explained the whole process. I’m so glad I chose Margaret’s for my wedding gown care, and would recommend them to every bride!

If I could give 10 stars to Margaret’s Cleaners, I absolutely would! Over 40 years ago, I had my wedding dress cleaned and preserved, hoping that one day, if I had a daughter, she might want to wear it herself. That dream came true when my daughter got married and decided she wanted to wear my dress—altered and redesigned a bit—for the dancing portion of her wedding.

From the moment we walked into the shop, we were greeted by Brittany, who listened to my daughter’s wishes with such care and enthusiasm. We worked closely with her incredible alterations team, Lillian and Lupita, and together, they brought a new dress to life. They handled my vintage dress with the utmost care and transformed it with their creativity and skill. To say we were pleased would be an understatement—the dress looked like a custom couture creation.

When my daughter changed into the second dress as the band started, our guests were absolutely in awe of how stunning the little party dress turned out. It’s rare to receive such attentive service and outstanding results, but Brittany and her team exceeded all of our expectations. I highly recommend working with them to bring your vision to life.

Fantastic Team!

I cannot thank Margaret’s alteration enough for the incredible and thoughtful work they did on my daughter’s wedding dress!

Upon walking into the shop we were greeted by Brittany, a wonderful and attentive associate. We came in after a previous attempt at another alterations establishment as they had left her dress less than perfect, and with the wedding day fast approaching, we were feeling anxious and incredibly upset.

From the moment we walked through the doors, the staff put us at ease with their kindness and professionalism. They listened carefully and assessed the previous work and assured us they could take care of the problem and finish up the alterations. We brought in not just one dress but two!

The craftsmanship and attention to detail in repairing and finishing the alterations were flawless. They worked efficiently, even with the tight timeline, and delivered the dress on time, perfectly altered and beautifully fitted. The look on my daughter’s face when she saw the final result was priceless—it was everything she had hoped for.

The team truly went above and beyond, not just in their skill but in the care and compassion they showed throughout the entire process. I brought both my wedding dress and my mother’s 40-year-old vintage gown to Margaret’s, hoping they could salvage the situation after a previous tailor left me disappointed and stressed, just weeks before my wedding. Loved Lilian!

Margaret's came highly recommended by a friend who also wore an Alexandra Grecco gown, and I wanted to rely on a referral for such an important investment. I was nervous when trying on my dress for the first time because the fit wasn't as perfect as it had been during my fittings after sizing up. However, Lilian was incredibly knowledgeable and knew exactly what adjustments were needed to make the dress fit like a glove. She was always professional throughout the process, and I'm so happy that I trusted her with altering my dress.

Wedding Gown Restoration

Margaret’s did an AMAZING job cleaning and restoring my grandmothers wedding gown! It was worn in 1956 so it had lots of yellowing, and tears from old age. Brittany explained the steps they would take to restore it, and kept me updated through the whole process. I can’t wait to wear it at my courthouse ceremony!

Naomi fitted my wedding dress. My dress had sleeves and a ton of lace but she but that was no problem for Naomi. She took in the waist and adjusted the train. An amazing experience!

From the second you step into Margaret’s everyone you meet is so personable and welcoming, and they explain their process, all the steps and timeline to come depending on what you are looking for. I worked with Naomi to restore and alter my 98 year old Grandma’s wedding dress (74 year old dress) that had never been cleaned or preserved. Naomi and I worked closely to accomplish my vision that changed multiple times throughout the two years we worked together. Through the ups and downs of wedding planning and many emotions of having to cancel and reschedule plans due to Covid, Naomi was always in good spirits and made me feel so confident and beautiful. By the time of my last fitting, Naomi felt like a close family friend and my mom and I were so sad the process was over. Margaret’s helped me prepare for my big day by prepping and packing the dress for travel and then when the weekend was over they cleaned and preserved my dress as well. I have recommend them to many people already!

Wedding dress alterations

My experience at Margaret’s Cleaners was 10/10. Naomi was the seamstress who did the alterations on my wedding gown - I can’t say enough amazing things about her. I brought in my wedding gown that I needed alterations on AND my mother’s wedding gown, which I wasn’t sure what to do with yet. My mother’s wedding gown had yellowed over the years and had a few stains on it, so I wasn’t optimistic there was anything that could be done- it also didn’t quite fit me and I didn’t want to spend a fortune on it. Margaret’s cleaner’s was able to take the stains out and they didn’t even charge me for it! Naomi understood my budget and made suggestions on how to alter the dress to make it fit! The finished product far exceeded my expectations! I ended my loving my mother’s gown more than the one I bought for myself!! I would highly recommend Margaret’s cleaners for your bridal gown alterations and it is a MUST to work with Naomi - this girl is talented and she just gets it!

Fantastic and professional alterations

Naomi did my alterations and was nothing but professional. She was able to work with my travel schedule (I live out of state) and did my alterations in two appointments vs the normal 3 to save me an extra trip out. Exceeded expectations

Margaret Cleaners restored my mother's 70 yr old wedding lace dress perfectly. Naomi worked magic and redesigned it to be modern and fit perfect. Naomi was flexible with my schedule for fittings, receptive to my ideas, and was able to create the dress I envisioned. Everything about Margarets is great. One easy decision in a wedding planning!

Working with the staff at Margaret's Cleaner and Naomi was the second best decision I made in regard to the wedding. 1st of course was saying yes to my husband.
The entire was staff was delightful and encouraging with the jitters that come with altering a dress bought sight unseen online.
Naomi was able to design my dress from a vision I described to her.
She was like the fairy godmother for Cinderella. Bippity Boppity Boop and my dream dress was created!

Great experience!

It was so great to work with Naomi of Margaret's Bridal department. She was so helpful and the process was so easy - not stressful at all! I needed the length and shoulder straps adjusted. Naomi suggested other alterations as well to make it the perfect fit. My dress turned out beautiful!

Naomi from Margaret’s is AMAZING

I was supposed to have my wedding Memorial Day weekend but it was postponed due to COVID. In a random roller coaster of events, I found myself in a position to still get married in my parents’ backyard (with just my parents, brother, and sister-in-law) on our original wedding date. By no means was having my dress necessary, but Naomi was able to work with me to finish my dress, and it turned out beautifully. Even under these crazy circumstances, she was able to finish my dress quickly and it came out better than I could have imagined. Can’t recommend her enough. She is so easy to work with, has lovely design ideas, and she was able to seamlessly incorporate the lace from my mom’s dress into my own.

Naomi is a miracle worker!

I had a wonderful experience with Naomi! She did my wedding dress for my 10/26/19 wedding and I could not have been more pleased with how the dress turned out. It needed all the usual - bustle, hemming, taking in at the sides, but what really showed her skill was what she did to the front of my dress.
I tried on my dress in the store in May and fell in love. I waited 2 months for my dress to arrive and when it did... it wasn't the same dress. All the details on the top were different. The one I tried on in store was very flattering to my figure, this one was blah.
I got estimates from several seamstresses that either quoted me my first born child or tried to convince me that the dresses were the same and no changes were needed. When I went to Naomi, I knew right away that she was the person for me. She listened to what my issues were, she asked to see pictures of both dresses, and she even had me text her the photos so she could do her best to create the original look.
She did all that and more. The dress looked better than I could have ever imagined. In addition to her undeniable talent, Naomi was fun to chat with, easy to schedule with, and always made me feel excited for my big day without being over the top.
Definitely go with Margaret's Cleaners and Naomi for your wedding! You will not be disappointed!!

When I first picked up my dress from the Bridal Salon and tried it on, I panicked! It was too big and I thought there was no way it would ever fit right. A Dream Come True!

My wedding was on December 7, 2018. Sometime in January 2018 I had the very good fortune of running into Margaret's cleaners and their fabulous ladies at the San Diego Wedding Expo. I had my mom's dress from when she got married over 30 years ago. She was quite thin and I have some extra love handles, lol I was debating on whether to use my mom's dress or buy a new one because I was skeptical that it wouldn't be or look like my dream dress and I didn't want to ruin my mom's dress. The dress was pretty heavily 80's to include the huge puffy arm ruffles. So I stopped by Margaret's Cleaners booth and spoke to Naomi Miller and she showed me some of her before/after dresses she had worked on. It was impressive enough to get me to go in to their shop for a consultation with my dress. We went over every detail I wanted done, Naomi took every single idea of mine and turned it into a masterpiece. She would advise where my ideas needed to be tweaked and why it needed to be tweaked but never once did she ever make me feel like my ideas were weird instead she would show enthusiasm for them. She has the patience of a God as I had many different changes and she would smile and be excited for them. Naomi did not have an easy job as I went in with my mom and my aunt and we were all very opinionated, LOL Naomi was so accommodating, respectful and a true professional. The end result was me in happy tears and Naomi joined me in my tearful joy. When I tell you that this girl pours her heart and soul into making your vision come to life, it's an understatement. The best part is that it was ridiculously affordable. The final dress came in an amazing package that looked like i had just gone to purchase the dress at a super expensive store. In closing, Naomi Miller from Margaret's cleaners is nothing short of a miracle worker, her skills are unparalleled, she treats her customers like family/friend and she is the sweetest person I've ever met, so much so, we still keep in touch today.

Red wine stain

My wedding dress had a red wine stain on it from our wedding in France and we then went to Spain for 2 weeks. I thought for sure the stain was set and nothing was going to get it out. Hidden Gem- Naomi has some serious talent!

I met Naomi at a bridal show and she saw a picture of my dress and was as excited to alter it as I was to wear it. I was sold! I loved working with Naomi. She's very kind, welcoming and warm and she makes you feel like the only bride she has when you're in your fitting. I do have one word of advice- Listen to Naomi when she tells you to hang out in your dress a little. Sit down in your dress. Bend over in your dress. Give her a hug in your dress. Do a little jig in your dress. Do ALL the things you think you may do during the wedding because the fit of your dress changes as you move. I did not follow her advice and my dress ended up being too large on top (my fault). Naomi is an expert and the amount of schooling she has been to backs that up. She also creates wedding dresses from scratch if you like. Overall, go see Naomi. She's the real deal and will be sure to make your dress fit like a glove (if you listen to her). Love Naomi- love Margarets. Highly recommend them!

Restoration at its Finest!!

The entire team of Margaret's from cleaning to restoring to alterations was beyond perfect. The dress looked amazing. Originally worn in 1957, then 1983 and 1986. Looked amazing with all the restorations in 2019.

Wedding Dress of my Dreams!

Naomi did an amazing job with the alterations on my dress. I had so many people tell me no they couldn’t do what I was asking for and Naomi made it happen without any hesitation. I initially purchased my dress as a strapless. I wanted to add a halter top made out of lace. The biggest trouble we had was sourcing the lace and Naomi took care of everything. She found the lace, met with me 3 times for fitting and finished my dream dress! Not only did she add the topper, she also added buttons to the back, added a belt and bustle. I would trust Naomi to do all my alterations. Everything turned out so great, without any hassle and wonderful customer service. Thank you Naomi for making the dress of my dreams :)

I took my mom’s 63 year old dress in to be cleaned for my daughters wedding. It has been worn 8 times, by my mom, my sisters, my niece, and myself. It is a family heirloom that was in sad shape. It was yellowed and the lace was very worn in places, the buttons were also worn. I couldn’t believe how beautiful it was when I got it back. They even saved the buttons they took off, so I could make some keepsakes with them. Thank you Amy and your team! My daughter looks so beautiful in the dress!

I took my wedding gown and veil to Margaret's to be pressed for a post-wedding photo shoot. I chose Margaret's for its excellent reputation in the bridal industry. I was very impressed with the quality of their work, as my dress looked like new when I picked it up! Margaret's had packaged my dress and delicate veil very nicely to ensure they stayed wrinkle-free, and I could tell they were both handled with great care. Naomi Naomi Naomi! There are not enough words to thank you enough for the work you put into my wedding dress! My wedding dress was a 2 piece dress, long train satin skirt over a lace cocktail dress. I fell in love with the idea of having a surprise father-daughter dance where I would twirl and rip off my skirt to reveal my cocktail dress underneath and then break out into free dance with my dad before the guests joined in on the dance floor. To make this happen, my skirt had to be hemmed and bustled and extra clasps added to the top of the skirt to ensure a smooth reveal. My cocktail dress also had to be taken in around the bust, waist, and hips. Naomi worked her magic and the skirt held up throughout the ceremony and reception and came off effortlessly when it was time for the big surprise. Naomi was so patient with me and my mom as we discussed what we wanted with the dress and options and ideas on how to make the dress fit better without breaking the bank, like adding $15-20 bra cups to the dress to avoid having to deal with any bras or bra straps in general! I believe the prices at Margarets is definitely reasonable for the amount of time and effort Naomi puts into all her alterations. All in all my alterations came out to $520, but if you spend over $500 in alterations you get a free pressing before your wedding (a $220 value for my 2 piece dress). Honestly I thought pressing dresses before the wedding was maybe an expense I could cut, but thankfully I did not (and mine was included with my alteration) because pressing really does make a difference! Super happy with the service and workmanship at Margarets and will highly recommend Naomi to future brides!

Margarets is hands down the best location for everything bridal. Once you have found your gown and need alterations to make it your own, there is no question but using margarets. Naomi is their incredible seamstress and completely created my dream come true by tailoring it to me like a glove, she added rhinestones, heading, took it in, and added a petty coat underneath. After not getting my original gown from Alfred Angelo when they went bankrupt I had to find a gently used dress. Naomi completely made it brand new again and Amy from Margarets ensured it would be cleaned just like new (& of course it was!) my mother in law had her 5 layers of gown taken up and of course it was perfect too! After nearly 5 sessions of me wanting to continue to add to the dress Naomi continued her hardworking empathetic and sincere hard work and made all my dreams come true! My gown is now ready to be preserved and I would have no other company do this job! I am so happy with their services and will use them not for all things alterations, cleaning and preserving! So glad I found Margarets!

The amount that David's wanted to charge me wasn't much cheaper than what Margaret's Cleaners was going to charge me for alterations of my gown. However, I know the quality of work will be higher because only one person will be altering my gown, and it's the person who consulted with me during my initial visit. For that quality customer service, I'm definitely willing to spend a few more dollars.

My daughter wore my wedding gown. Margaret's altered the gown to fit today's styles. Our daughter's dress was spectacular! She looked like a princess on her special day!

Margaret's Cleaners did an incredible job with my wedding dress! We weren't able to drop it off until last minute and they didn't hesitate to stream it to perfection:) I will definitely be taking my dress back there for its much needed post-wedding cleaning:)

I used this cleaner for my used wedding gown. While their certainly is a price tag attached to this service, it was well worth it. They were able to get out all the stains and restore her back to new in a very tight time frame. They over came many obstacles in getting my dress back into perfect condition and I couldn't have been happier with the results!!!!

I brought my husband’s late mother’s wedding gown to Margaret’s Cleaners in hope that it could be restored so our daughter could wear it for her wedding. The dress had been stored in a plastic bag in the back of the closet since 1954. The taffeta and particularly the decorative braid had yellowed with age and there were small tears at the bottom of the skirt and train. When I dropped it off, I was unsure what really could be done, if anything, to make it wearable and my expectations were maybe it could be cleaned to a wearable light ivory. The staff took the time to answer all my questions, explaining the process and what the outcomes might be with the different materials in the dress. I left feeling reassured and confident but was not prepared for the results when I picked up the dress. It was perfection – the dress and braid were brand-new white, the repairs invisible – it just bowled me over how wonderfully it had turned out! My daughter will be a beautiful bride in her grandmother’s dress – thank you Margaret’s Cleaners!

Wow, wow, wow!!! The best place to get your cleaning done for your top-of-the-line [insert anything delicate].

Margaret's kindly picked up my finished gown from Beverly Hills boutique a week before my wedding, made the gown look 1000 times better, and dropped it off at my wedding venue a day before my wedding. I didn't have to worry about a thing!!! Okay, it did cost a lot but it was worth every penny, especially since they picked it up all the way from LA and dropped it off in OC. My bridal boutique gave me the same quote without any delivery service. They also include steaming your accessories for this service, so I included my veil with this as well.

Seriously though, my wedding gown somehow transformed into a beautiful, perfect, piece of art. Everyone who had doubts of my wedding dress (including me) were stunned at this gorgeous dress after I got Margaret's service.

They also included an "Wedding Emergency Kit"- I didn't check it out yet because it wasn't necessary, but I'm sure it'll come handy for some people.

I'm not doing preservation with them, though. They gave me a very high quote, and it was not worth it for me to spend that much for the gown. I might not even keep mine.

Margaret's cleaners pressed and delivered my dress to my ceremony venue the morning of my wedding. They were reasonably priced and the delivery was prompt and professional. I would recommend them if you are worried about your dress being wrinkled before the big day.

If you have a wedding dress, especially a designer one and need alterations done, then bring it here!!!! Roxie and her assistants are the best. It is expensive, but you do not want someone to screw up on your $3,000 or plus dress. Roxie is expert seamstress and is well knowledgable on many designer wedding gowns. She has been featured on many wedding shows and magazines. She is a very cool lady and easy to work with. After your wedding you can have Margaret's Cleaners dry clean and preserve your wedding gown, again very expensive, but they do a great job!

Amazing Alterations!

Isis was so attentive to me and my needs. She helped me understand the options I had with my dress and was transparent about costs. My dress turned out AMAZING! She sewed in my sleeves and added a bustle!

Professional and Perfect

Naomi did a perfect job at altering my wedding gown flawlessly. She was able to take it down two sizes to fit very well. No surprise expenses, and I felt like I was treated like royalty. Having them deliver the gown to my venue the day of all steamed and pressed was icing on the cake.

I brought my daughter's wedding dress to be pressed one week before her wedding. The designer's instructions said not to dry clean, steam or press directly with an iron so I was VERY NERVOUS but was assured they knew what to do so left the dress hoping for the best! The dress came back perfect and right on time!
It was a little pricey but worth every cent. And the staff there were delightful to work with. I will bring it back to be cleaned and preserved!

No advice, but you all wanted to take a picture of the 1920's wedding gown that you cleaned and preserved for us. You contacted us originally and said you wanted to show the gown on your website and then no follow up. We were told you wanted to show the wedding gown after it had been cleaned. We also have a picture of the wedding party and of course the bride in the gown....from the wedding.
I called and spoke with someone who was going to call me back...never heard a word. So???

I live in AZ and my wedding was in La Jolla. Margaret’s was amazing, letting me drop off my wedding gown 2 days before the wedding to be pressed and then they delivered it to my wedding site the morning of the wedding. They even would have allowed me to drop my dress off directly to the pressing site the day before the wedding had we not driven in any earlier. Their rate was also very reasonable. I would definitely recommend Margaret’s!

Pricey but so professional. My dress did not cost a fortune but it still was a huge memory i wanted to preserve. During my engagement my mother brough out her wedding dress and we were both sad to see how much it has deteriorated. I knew i had to preserve mine. Margarets is expensive... my dress cost 3000 and was 600 to preserve but it has heavy detailing and a small red stain. The do everything on site the old fashioned way. They offer a lifetime warranty and place it beautifully in a box. They also cleaned it, replaced my missing bustle buttons, and some beading that i had lost prior to preserving it. If you are really serious about keeping your dress perfect forever, then invest in margarets!
