Marco was incredible. He was great to work with, affordable, and kind and understanding. He completely got our vision for fun, vibrant, colorful flowers. He was so patient with my million questions as someone who doesn't know much about flowers (or weddings). He made a wonderful memorial chair for the father of the bride and hair pieces for the bride and bridal party. I wouldn't have wanted to have anyone else do the flowers for our wedding!

We enjoyed working with Marco so much! He is such a kind person, brings so much enthusiasm, a strong point of view, and offers tons of knowledge of the industry. He spent many hours planning with us, including several calls with me, and several more with my wedding planner.
The days leading up to the wedding he spent so much time on site getting our tent set up, going above and beyond by cleaning the dance floor and tables we received from other vendors, and probably much more that I'm not even aware of.
I'm still sooo thrilled with the results, especially the vines hung within the tent, my bouquet, and our arbor. Absolute dream come true.

After researching what felt like a million florist and getting quotes back that were WAY out of budget, I finally found Marco Alexzondra Floral & Event Design on The Knot. He was so thoughtful, quick to respond, and gave me multiple floral options within my budget that matched what I was looking for. Marco also reused my ceremony flowers at reception which was even more budget friendly and added extra elegance to our reception space. I had a very specific image in mind of what flowers I wanted, and Marco executed this perfectly. He created stunning bouquets, delicate bud vases, amazing large centerpieces, and BEAUTIFUL ground meadow pieces (it was difficult finding a florist who makes these). What makes everything even better is that when I told my family I booked Marco, they knew a handful of other people who have used and loved his work for other special events. The flowers were exactly what I was looking for in color and in design, and he was happy to work within my budget and accommodate my ideas of repurposing flowers to have multiple uses throughout the day! Our Favorite Florist Forever
Marco was absolutely wonderful and certainly our favorite vendor we worked with throughout our wedding planning process. In the beginning of our planning process, we had a general idea of what we were looking for and Marco was able to distill our thoughts into a beautiful vision. The perfect whimsical flowers to pair with our country English Garden wedding!
As a bride, I wanted the less is more approach with flowers because our venue was already stunning( an outdoor barn with beautiful lush greens, and floralscapes).
Marco tirelessly worked within my budget and was able to execute my rustic Snow White bride vision with only a few pictures of inspiration. He was extremely professional and always responded to any questions that I had within a prompt timeframe.

Marco did such an amazing job with our florals for our wedding. He took all of my thoughts into consideration from the flowers that I liked/disliked to my budget for our florals. The bouquets were gorgeous, and they lived almost 2 weeks after the wedding! He also included these beautiful sola wood flowers that were budget-friendly, and we were able to keep them after our wedding. We also rented wooden lanterns from Marco for our table centerpieces, which was so nice not to have to bring another decor item to the venue. I unfortunately did not get to meet him in-person, but my sister-in-law did and said he was the sweetest person! Thank you Marco!

I booked him off of reviews alone and with zero knowledge of flowers I was nervous I wouldn’t be able to communicate my “vision” for him to be able to create. I told him I knew nothing about flowers and because he knew my venue so well I told him to please take into account anything that should be decorated (tables, wedding arch, cake, etc). He wasn’t phased at all and just responded by asking me some questions- wedding colors, personal style/vibe, budget, and any flowers I loved or hated. When he sent me an extremely detailed quote I got so excited googling each individual flower/accent he listed. He took my answers and with his expertise turned my “vision” into something even better than I could have imagined. Unfortunately he couldn’t make it to my wedding (he’s so good so obviously he’s busy) but his two person team absolutely killed it! My flower girls felt SO SPECIAL as they watched his team create and fit their flower crowns to their heads perfectly. Many happy guests were excited to take home center pieces with them! My only regret is that I didn’t have my bouquet preserved because they were so so beautiful.

Marco was wonderful to work with! We were not local to the venue we got married at or Marco's shop so it was important to us that we build some sort of connection without meeting in person. Marco did an initial video meeting with us and was very communicative about everything thereafter. Price was something he wholeheartedly took into consideration as we made our decisions and he made sure we got as much value as possible within our budget. I loved working with Marco. He kept my budget in mind while suggesting ideas for me based on what I was looking for. Peonies were a must but hard to come by in May. Marco gave us exactly what we wanted. His floral designs were perfect and the centerpieces lasted for a very long time after the event. He agonizes over every detail, he took time to talk with us throughout the process to find out what we wanted. We did not know fllowers at all, but we had a concept in our heads. Marco brought that idea to reality. His rates were very reasonable and the cost was exactly within our budget. I am so glad we found him for our wedding reception. The Best Florist in SW Michigan
We found Marco through Instagram, and after falling in love with his work, we knew we had to have him for our wedding.
He was very communicative throughout the entire process and so easy to work with, making sure we got the exact experience we wanted. Even with a postponement, Marco's goal was to make sure we were happy. We embraced his artistic expression, and it absolutely paid off. Everything from the bouquets to the smaller touches around the venue were great. With gum, snapdragons, succulents, dahlias, and more, the floral complemented our venue and look so well.

Marco Marco Marco. Where to begin. I knew I wanted him to do my florals. I reached out early to secure him for my original May 16th date. Then the COVID happened. We had to move our date to August. I was so worried about vendors not being available for my new date and Marco Was available! And was fantastic through the whole process. Kept me updated on types of flowers that were in season and what we couldn’t get due to covid restrictions and imports that weren’t happening. I didn’t want to box him in with too many of my own ideas. (There’s a reason I don’t do this for a living). So I gave him an idea and pretty much free reign on design. And I am SO glad I did. I had an idea for concrete centerpieces and he ran with it. The pieces were gorgeous. The flowers were amazing. The colors. Everything. Whatever goes on up in that brain is a MUST for your wedding design. Spectacular.

I never met Marco prior to my wedding but new after seeing his webpage, facebook and Instagram, he would be my floral designer. I sent Marco an email to initiate the possibility of him as my floral designer for my June 29, 2019 wedding and was excited to get the response I desired…Yes, it’s available!
I have very little experience in florals and on the most special day I wanted the most amazing florals. I contacted Marco and shared a vision and he was able to take my vision to a whole new more exciting level. I trusted his expertise and he delivered with amazing creativity and a luxurious feel to create an atmosphere of warmth and beauty.
The texture and flower choices were nothing I had envisioned (and I am glad). If I had chosen the flowers there is no way the arrangements would have looked like the masterpieces they were. Trust Marco with your vision. I trusted and the most beautiful arrangements with yellow billies, free spirit roses, pink anthurium, bells of Ireland, snapdragons, calia, bird nest fern and so many others in beautiful gold floral stands that were purchased specifically for my wedding.
He is very thorough, creative, detailed, and kept everything within budget! He is a creative mind and soul. He and his floral team went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! I am so grateful to Marco and his team.

Marco is Great!
We recently had our October wedding at the Journeyman Distillery in Three Oaks, Michigan, where Marco's name was one of several recommended Floral vendors provided by the venue. We knew early on that our budget may have to be set at a smaller amount for our floral needs which eliminated many of the other provided options, several of which had minimum prices which were already outside of our range. Marco was highly recommended and quickly responsive to our initial inquiry, allowing us to quickly set up an in person meeting to discuss the upcoming wedding.
From the beginning, Marco worked with us to ensure that our wedding would meet all of our needs while also meeting our budget, all while still demonstrating his vision! We were quickly able to discuss our colors, themes and potential ideas, and we were also able to have periodic phone conversations for updates on how things were going. Once he had an idea of what we were looking for, Marco was able to run with it on his own while still making sure he had our approval over the final layout. During this entire process, Marco was friendly and always looking for creative options and solutions to any issues that arose.
On the day of the wedding, we couldn't believe what an amazing job he had done! When it became clear that our final numbers were not going to be as high as we had budgeted for, Marco was able to fold everything back into the product, including a breathtaking hanging centerpiece over our sweetheart table. All of our guests had nothing but good things to say about how everything looked, and at the end of the evening Marco was present to help clean up his responsible items without any problems.
Overall, our experience with Marco was incredibly positive and we would highly recommend him for anyone getting married in the Southwest Michigan area (or as far out as he is willing to go)!

Unique flower arrangements for any style, that last!
Marco is an artist and a creator when it comes to floral. I cannot speak highly enough of his skill, quality of work, delivery, and pride he takes in the finished product. Marco will respect your budget and work with you to find scale and substitutions to perfectly capture your “look”. There were so many times during the process where I think Marco knew better what I wanted than I did! The floral was an absolute highlight of our day and received so many compliments and the floral arrangements lasted all day and night without wilting. Thank you, Marco and your team, for helping make our vision become a reality and for adding beauty and an organic feel to our wedding!! We cannot recommend your services enough!

Marco is a TRUE Artist!
Marco is a TRUE artist! He thought through every detail and discussed his vision prior to. He provided every flower type, etc for each piece he was planning which I never would have expected. He shared his vision so we knew what to expect and he OVER delivered. When changes came up he didn't hesitate to reach out to talk through his new plan. He listened to my overall vibe of the wedding and was such a pleasure to work, he is a great guy! Guests not only enjoyed the bridal party's flowers but the pieces he made for the tables, the arch, the chandelier and so much more! You can't go wrong when booking with Marco!

AMAZING: Stop reading this and hire him NOW
I can not say enough great things about Marco and his floral work! Marco did flowers for our wedding and all I have to say is WOW. I don't know a lot about flowers but I know how to use Pinterest. I pinned some different bouquets that I liked and then Marco and I had a phone conversation to talk about the look and feel I wanted, colors, etc. but ultimately I told him to have creative liberty in creating our whimsical wedding. Marco was recommended to us from our venue as well as our wedding coordinator so I trusted him to 'do his thing.' What was great about Marco was that he also has items such as candles, chandeliers, moongate, etc. so I could just go to one place instead of renting those items from another. Marco and his team arrived early onsite and totally brought my vision to reality. He even helped package up a handful of the flowers so that we could use them the next morning for our Farewell Brunch. I loved working with Marco and I can not recommend him enough. Thank you so much for making our dream wedding a reality!

Exceptional! A true Artist!
Marco was FANTASTIC. We had a short time line and we were stressed with way too many things that all needed attention. Blown away by my flowers. It was the first time I cried all day seeing them. SO BEAUTIFUL!
Marco is probably one of the most creative and innovative florists out there. I let him have free reign It's hard to put into words how beautiful the bouquets, tables, and details were. He is so personable and easy to talk to. Marco knew exactly what I wanted and I'm pretty sure he only saw my pinterest page and listened to me try to name the only 2 flowers I know the names of. He is AMAZING! I forgot to tell him to make boutonnieres for the ushers pre ceremony. It did not phase him, he made them in 5 minutes on the spot while we were setting up photos. I cannot recommend him enough! Marco is AMAZING and so TALENTED.

Marco was one of my favorite vendors to work with and I felt like he truly became a friend during my wedding planning process! I had a very rocky road leading up to my wedding day (we had to change my venue 3 months before my wedding day) and Marco made sure my day was absolutely perfect! Due to my venue change, I had to change my overall look for my wedding and I struggled to come up with a new vision. After one phone call with Marco, I had a completely new vision that was even better than my original!! He was able to talk to me about what I loved, what I didn’t love, and what I absolutely wanted to see on my wedding day and he turned it into a beautiful vision that he executed flawlessly. We talked many times leading up to the day of my wedding and I loved our conversations! He is so incredibly detail-oriented, genuine, and truly did everything he could to make me happy! He also worked within our budget and made sure we got the greatest value for our wedding. The best part about working with Marco was being able to see what a true artist he is! He completely transformed our ballroom and exceeded all of our expectations! Our flowers and centerpieces were absolutely stunning!!! My boutique was amazing and better than anything I have ever seen on Pinterest! Marco went completely above and beyond!! I really can’t give enough positive feedback about Marco. He was great. I had many bumps in the road the week leading up to my wedding day, I think Marco was more concerned about them than me. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect on my wedding day (we had to change venues unexpectedly 5 days before my wedding).
Marco made everything flawless. His flowers are gorgeous, if you give Marco tidbits about what you see your wedding day looking like, he will turn it into a vision, then execute. And since weddings are expensive, I have to mention. Marco will also work hard to get the greatest value for you wedding. If he knows certain flowers are cheapest in a particular bundle, he will figure out a way to use the highest value bundle through out your order. Also, Marco is an all around good guy. In the several times I met with him, he had a new adopted animal each time. You can tell how much he loves his job, he spews the love in all of his conversations. 100% my favorite vendor. Book him if you are lucky enough to be getting married in an area that he services.

Marco is an amazing florist! Our wedding was October 2017 at Willow Harbor Vineyard, he does a ton of weddings in the area and knows the venues so well which is extremely helpful! He was able to give us exactly what we wanted within our budget! He helped me with my table layout and even surprised my husband with a succulent boutonniere :) He made our flower girls the cutest flower crowns, multiple people told me how much they loved them throughout the night! He does more then just typical centerpieces and bouquets, he is very talented and can do so many things with flowers! Marco is so easy to work with, texts and calls back immediately. I cannot say enough great things about him! I highly recommend using Marco for your wedding florist!

Working with Marco was the least stressful thing in all of our wedding planning process. I planned my Michigan wedding from Chicago and he was so easy to get in touch with. With just one meeting and a few phone conversations he totally understood the look I wanted and the execution was FLAWLESS. Everything from my hair piece to the bouquets to the centerpieces and the gorgeous floral ring above the dance floor was stunning and set the tone for our organic and elegant evening. Lastly, I highly recommend Marco because your wedding day is a day that you will always remember and having vendors that you enjoy working with played a big part in that for us. I cannot say enough about Marco, his talent, and the way he goes above and beyond to get to know each of his brides. Marco and I communicated via email, text, and phone. We even spent time on Pinterest together which made this process so personable and fun. He was able to perceive my vision for the florals perfectly and ultimately made my dream a reality. Realizing I couldn't do it all- I hired a florist, against my original plan. AND THANK GOD!!!!! Marco is a master mind! A creative genius. His dedication to making my day special and unique was superb. Numerous hour long conversations made our collaboration a stress-less work of delight. Well, stress free on my end. He will work tirelessly to achieve beauty for your day. Marco transported us all to a magical wonderland via stunning centerpieces, a GORGEOUS hanging tray, a spectacular arbor piece, and tons of sweeping spanish moss. And don't even get me started on the boutonniere he made for my husband- a blend of vintage gears, compass needles, and the most perfect bit of foliage. Marco made my day fantastical, but as now I can call him a friend, he makes my life joyous.

I wish I could share photo's on this site to show you how amazing Marco's work is. I was married this past September 25th at Blue Dress Barn. I contacted Marco over a year before my wedding and he called me back right away. We talked on the phone for probably an hour at least and I loved him! He literally lives in floral arrangements and adores working with brides. I met with him a few times when I would go over to that side of the state to do wedding planning. He knows what will and won't look good with anything you throw at him. Colors, vases, landers, heights, anything else you can think of. He was so wonderful to work with! I game him my budget and we figured out what flowers in my colors we could use to make it work. I loved that I didn't have to spend tons and tons of money on flowers because my florist says so. He's understanding and even made a few mercury glass vases last min because he understood my style enough to know those would be perfect for the maid's flowers on the head table. He's the best and you're nuts to not use him! Check out his work on his fb page too! His pictures are breathtaking! And maybe you'll even see mine! :) Love ya Marco!!!

Marco did a fabulous job providing the floral decorations and arrangements for my wedding in September 2015! I had originally planned on handling the flowers myself but realized I had too much on my plate at the last minute. I saw Marco's work through other brides at my venue and through my photographer and knew I had to work with him too! Our styles are so similar...elegant but rustic, wild, bold...I could go on and on! Marco was easy to work with and we spent plenty of time on the phone and in person discussing my vision and incorporating his skill and ideas. My budget wasn't as large as most, Marco didn't hesitate to hop on board and bring my vision to life! I think he even brought in greenery from his own property to help keep costs down! He was just a pleasure to work with and I'm still in awe of everything, in particular, my bridal bouquet! It was everything I dreamed of and beyond!

What can I say besides Marco is absolutely fabulous! He took all the ideas I had and made them not only a reality, but made them even better than I had imagined! I gave him a limited budget and was truly surprised at what he delivered even though I already had high expectations. Marco did the most wonderful job with my wedding flowers. He is super responsive from the time we started working on the details. He is very creative and has the most amazing ideas. I had a basic theme and a couple flowers that I like, but he took that and turned into something amazing! I have gotten nothing but compliments on how beautiful all the flowers were. Mine and the bridesmaids bouquets were something I could never have thought of - the most beautiful and unique I've ever seen. If you are looking for creative and unique, not your cookie cutter wedding sprays, talk to Marco and look at his Facebook page. Your flowers will be beyond your hopes! Marco was SO amazing. He was so responsive through texts, calls and emails. He took my budget and made all of my floral dreams come true. My guests were in awe of all of the beautiful bouquets. I received many compliments on my bouquet as well. He also delivered to my reception hall and set everything up. I can't say enough good things! If you decided to go with him, I promise you will not be disappointed!

Cocktail party and wedding
Marco and his team were a dream! They made everything so easy. He created cocktail party arrangements that he then took to the wedding for the next day. It saved us time and energy and we were able to double up on the flowers for the wedding!

Beautiful flower arrangements and Reasonable Prices
Marco was a pleasure to work with. He was very detailed oriented, and have some good ideas around arrangement and centerpieces. You can let him know your vision and be specific on what you want, and he will work around what you want, it helps to provide illustration and inspiration pictures to him. I sent him some inspiration of my color theme (muted tones of purple), and he made it happen. I was honestly quite surprised when i saw my bouquet, i didn't require them to look exactly the same, but they were very very similar to the inspiration pics i showed him! He was also a pleasure to talk to, even though he's super busy you can tell he try to make time to talk to you and go over things in details. I talked to 3 other florists prior to hiring Marco, and his price was by far the most reasonable. Be sure to shop around - any thing with a "bridal" or "wedding" price tag on it is bound to have inflated prices, i have gotten quotes twice the price of what we paid for i would think the same amount of flowers.

Unique and amazing!
Marco is fantastic! I absolutely loved our flowers. One of these reviews helped me understand Marco, and our wedding planner agreed, Marco is amazing, but also operates on his own timeline. I thought he was amazing, I would absolutely use him again, but I was not a picky bride who wanted control over the minutest of detail. Once you get on his schedule, you're on it and don't worry when you haven't heard from him for a while. Once his focus is on you, it's all on you! But it may be closer to your wedding day than your initial consultation with him. His vision is unique and so will your flowers be! I gave him a budget, colors, and what I didn't want and left the rest up to him. I wouldn't change a thing!

Marco is someone you just can't help but love! I knew when I saw his Instagram photos that I needed his creativity in our wedding. He is experienced, meticulous, offers valuable advice and will make your day gorgeous! Although things didn't get solidified until a few weeks before my wedding, Marco came through and made our very specific vision, every detail, every flower, every crazy request, become reality. I couldn't have asked for more!

Flower magician
Marco and his team were a joy to work with. Truly, masters of their craft. When they have a vision, let them run with it. We were absolutely speechless by just how amazing all of the displays and personal flowers were. They were also very accommodating to our last minute changes/requests, and the corsages were made on BANGLES! Incredible. 10/10
My *only* concern was communication/correspondence was sometimes delayed, but working with him through the height of wedding season, I can understand that and everything worked out perfectly in the end!
