We loved the band!!!!

Amazing music! They engaged the audience so well. Singing was incredible and song choice was great. People were dancing all night.

Our only complaint was that the band started playing again during the end of dinner, and we wanted the band to wait until after the dinner.

Highlight of our Wedding!

MMB was absolutely fabulous! We rescheduled our wedding due to a hurricane in Jamaica and relocated to FL in less than a week. They were very thorough and flexible with all of our requests, especially doing our first dance to a rap song vs the traditional one.

The "magic" of mmb

We first crossed paths with Marcia Mitchell Music & Events/MMB in September 2022 for our Centennial Celebration in Cleveland, OH. Together, we shared a thrilling experience we referred to as "ONE FOR THE AGES" in a previous review. Long story short, that performance left us speechless and "IN AWE" of this SENSATIONAL BAND!!

Fast forward 20 months and VIOLA...once again we partnered with Marcia and MMB and they "touched down" in downtown Cleveland for the University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's "Ride the Rainbow" event in early May 2024. Never in a million years did we think it was even remotely possible for MMB to surpass their 2022 performance but sure as can be, THEY ABSOLUTELY DID and... "Oh, what a night it was!!"

The EXTRAORDINARY TALENT and ASTOUNDING STAGE PRESENCE of every member of this dynamic band, coupled with their "electric" connection and personal interaction with the guests, left all in attendance on "CLOUD NINE".

If you're looking for an elite and exquisite party band full of passion and professionalism, look no further as MMB is your band! Marcia and MMB are "MAGICAL" in every sense of the word and absolutely just the very best in the business.

Thank you Marcia Mitchell, Lennis Sabatino, and the entire Marcia Mitchell Band for a night to remember; a wondrous evening Cleveland will never forget!

MMB had us dancing all night long!

Now that we've (for the most part) have recovered from our wedding weekend, we wanted to send a huge thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!

So many of our friends and family asked us about you and said that you are the best band they've ever experienced at a wedding. Everyone had the most fun night thanks to your team...it was hard kicking people out because they wanted to keep dancing!

Wonderful!

Marcia Mitchell and her talented band entertained us all at our daughter’s wedding in March of 2024! They softly played romantic love songs throughout the dinner and then cranked it up and everybody danced the night away. They were fabulous! Hope to see them again soon!

Best band ever!

WOW!! There really are no words to describe my extreme gratitude or the talent that you and your band possess! You exceeded every expectation of entertainment … kindness .. professionalism and did I say talent?? Every single member of your band was more talented .. more committed to entertaining .. more than anyone could ever had expected!! Thank you just doesn’t seem to be enough to say what’s in my heart! Your care with exceeding Spencer and Brooke’s expectations! The way you and your band move with such ease in your performances was truly inspiring!! I loved everything about all of you! I appreciate all of your hard work and dedication to making this wedding .. one of the best … if not the best! The trio of instrumental musicians was beautiful! I included a pic of the ceremony … we don’t have the professional ones back yet … this is one that our guests took!!! The perfect band for the best day of your life

I was totally against the idea of having a band at my wedding. I thought it was old school, they wouldn’t play the songs a DJ could play etc. After attending a wedding with my (now) husband, I completely changed my mind within only a few minutes of being on the dance floor. MMM made the crowd stay on their feet all night and I never felt such great, vibrant atmosphere at any other wedding I’ve been to. I told my husband then and there that his wish for a band at our wedding would be granted if we hired Marcia!
Everything during our wedding was perfect! The string orchestra during our ceremony, our introduction at the reception, our first dance and dancing the night away on the dance floor. The band is fabulous, and all our guests complimented the band throughout the night and also after the wedding.
One of the things that impressed me the most was how they interacted with the crowd and also how attentive they were with me and husband. During our first dance we told them we had some prepared moves but nothing choreographed, and without any type of rehearsal they managed to perfectly end our song to our finishing backdrop and kiss. The timing was impeccable!
Also, Marcia is delightful to work with, professional, easy-going, completely stress-free and so positive and fun!
Do yourself a favor and hire this band, you won't regret it!

Guests can't stop talking about them!

My guests and even my father who never dances couldn't get off the dance floor with this band! My husband gave them a list of songs to play and boy did they nail them! Marcia's voice is amazing and my 8 year nephew has a huge crush on her now!!

The Most Amazing Band From Beginning to End!

Marcia Mitchell Band absolutely killed it at our wedding. At the beginning of our wedding planning journey, a friend gave us her wedding vendors and said, "If you take any of my recommendations, it's MMM band." My wife and I couldn't agree more! Leading up to the wedding, Marcia was responsive and totally on top of things (she could probably be an event coordinator if she wanted to be!) At the wedding, the band was incredible, no other way to say it. Our guests, over one month after the event are STILL telling us how amazing the band was. We cannot thank Marcia and the entire MMM band enough for making our big day so special and memorable.

The best wedding band!

We hired MMB2 featuring Lennis for our wedding on 10/22 and they were a huge hit! Marcia was incredible throughout the process as we communicated with her to coordinate all the details and she was so responsive and helpful with amazing energy. The string trio was incredible and worked with our vision perfectly. MMB2 was PHENOMENAL all night. Marcia, Lennis and team are super professional and know how to get the crowd going all night. We have had nonstop compliments from everyone on how incredible the band was and we feel they truly made the night. I wondered why they did not show a lot of videos of their performances online so I didn't totally know what to expect, but this is a phenomenal group that knows what they are doing and all were incredibly talented. All expectations exceeded! I cannot recommend them enough! THANK YOU MMB team!!!

"one for the ages"

"They came; they performed; and WOW...did they ever CAPTURE and CONQUER Cleveland like no other"!!

MMM traveled all the way from Florida to perform at our Superior Beverage Group Centennial Celebration last month in Cleveland, OH and their performance was "OFF THE CHARTS" in every way imaginable!! Their extraordinary talent, amazing voices, charismatic personalities, and engaging presence was by far the highlight of our evening! They far exceeded any expectations we had and as a result, the experience was "ONE FOR THE AGES"!!
Everyone was truly in awe of this MAGNIFICENT band from the very minute they took the stage until the last note was played and we never wanted it to end!! Marcia Mitchell's voice left us mesmerized and captured our hearts in an instant! They were so much more than mere entertainment, MMM exuded CLASS in every sense of the word and their interaction with our guests was SO much fun and absolutely "priceless"!
In closing, we highly recommend MMM as the perfect band for a once in a lifetime event or experience! We are still receiving endless compliments on Marcia and the band and we will always cherish our UNFORGETTABLE night spent with MMM! We are now and forever stalwart supporters and couldn't be any more pleased with our "MMM Experience" as it was "SIMPLY THE BEST EVER"!! Also, heartfelt thanks to Lennis Sabatino for orchestrating the evening with impeccable attention to detail and pure perfection!

Brought the house down!!

wOw!!! What a wicked band with unmatched energy, talent, kindness and love! We had a small intimate wedding but once MMB got going, it felt like there was 100 people in the room and everyone was on their feet, dancing, sweating, laughing - it was beautiful and couldn't have been done without the delights of this band. Amazing band!

Marcia and her band kept everyone dancing the whole time at our wedding. Everyone was raving about them for days to come. Best band you could ever hire

WOW!!!!! 3 weeks after our wedding and we and our guests are still talking about MMM. I hired them based off my planner’s suggestion and when she said “the dance floor will be packed all night,” SHE WAS 110% RIGHT. I was a little nervous at first being that I never saw or heard MMM but they have a reputation by word of mouth for a reason. They were absolutely fantastic. We had a string quartet during our ceremony and 13 piece band for the reception. It was a DREAM. The entire band was so lively, excited and personable. It almost felt like we were at a concert. Marcia made it feel like such a personal experience and she has the sweetest, kindest soul. A band is a huge huge part of what makes a wedding really great and MMM knocked it out of the park. We’re so grateful to have the memories we have of our wedding, a huge part of which is thanks to the band. Thank you so very much MMM. You all were un-freakin-believable!!!!!

A M A Z I N G!!!!!!!!

After having to move our wedding date 2x (thank you, Covid!), we finally were able to have our big day a few weeks ago. The Marica Mitchell Band was originally recommended to us through our wedding coordinator. After looking online, we were able to see just a few clips of them in "action", but it wasn't like they were all over the internet to see. At first, this made us a little skeptical, but after hearing our wedding coordinator rave about them and having a few calls with Marcia Mitchell herself, we just got that vibe and energy from talking with her that we were hooked and ended up hiring the band for our big day.

This band does NOT have to advertise themselves online, they are the real deal and were simply awesome! Every single guest, family and friends came up to us and asked "where did you find this band"? They sounded like the original artists themselves for each song they sang, of course with their own sound and spin.

Marcia and the band doesn't need a set list from you to perform, they just need a little sampling of what you like and off they went live. It was like they just read the crowd and played based upon that energy! Whether it was "Shout", "Uptown Funk", "Raise your glass", "24K Magic" or Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a prayer", they did each song just perfectly and EVERYONE was on the dance floor. Do yourself a favor, if you choose to have a band for your wedding or event, BOOK THIS BAND! I went to thank Marcia when our wedding was over and she said "Thank you for trusting us". No Marcia, Thank you!! Trust me, you won't be disappointed with this band!!!

MMB will exceed your expectations!

WOW! MMB did not disappoint! What an amazing band was assembled for the reception! The dance floor was packed from the first set on. It was exactly what we envisioned. Marcia was attentive to our ideas from day one. Lennis made it all run smoothly and right on schedule. I am still amazed that we got it all in and it looked effortless, which we all know it never is, but this is the mark of true professionals. They are not only very talented musicians, but working with them is also a pleasure. I can’t praise the band and the entire experience enough!

Amazing. Amazing. Amazing!

Marcia is incredible - as a person, as a singer, and as the leader of the band!!! We booked Marcia after a nightmare experience with another band (since we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID). The other band had flashy videos online which attracted us to them, and I was hesitant at first because I couldn't find many videos of Marcia's... and now I know why. Everyone at her parties is too busy singing and dancing they don't have time to take videos!!! Marcia brought the best vibes and energy throughout our planning process and at the wedding itself!! The music was the most important element to my husband and I, and she MADE THE DAY! Thanks to COVID, our wedding planning process was not easy and it was often sad, and everytime we talked to Marcia she made us smile and feel happy and excited for our wedding day! Come wedding day, we had a live singer along with a few musicians for the ceremony, and they were INCREDIBLE. Even though most of our guests were on Zoom, many of them commented on the spectacular quality of music. My husband peeked out before the ceremony and literally had tears in his eyes from how beautifully they sang. For the party, even though we had 13 guests, it felt like we had 300. Marcia and her crew really brought the party from beginning to end! We are so thankful that we have already booked them for the "real party" next year where we celebrate with our guests! Ahhhhhhmazing!

Our experience with MMM was nothing but amazing! She recommended DJ Damon for our event and he was so great. So were the musicians who joined him. We did not want a singer so Marcia recommended her fusion band which included a DJ and 3 instruments that emphasize the music. It was the perfect entertainment for our group of 185! The dance floor was packed the entire time!! If we could go back and do it again, we will still pick MMM!

Marcia is professional, caring, and simply amazing to work with. Her and her team can really read a crowd and know exactly what to perform and when. Made our wedding day!! All positive A +++ Vibes!

You will never have to worry! This band was detailed, thorough, timely, professional, full of energy and made our reception a blast. They played the perfect songs so the dance floor was never empty! They were interactive and 'roamed' the dance floor getting guests to participate and sing with them. They also provided a saxophonist for our cocktail hour and tailored the music to our style (Boyz II Men specifically!) which was a HUGE hit and we received raving reviews. We would absolutely recommend this band! They are extremely flexible and friendly. They listen and actually produce/provide exactly what you want, and not tell you 'what you think you'll want.' Very accommodating! Couldn’t express more how amazing this band is!!! I use them for all of my personal events needs and also recommend to my clients at Your Sparkling Event. 💕 Guests were also raving that it was the best music/band they had heard. Highly recommended and love them!!!

Marcia mitchell music will make your wedding amazing!

Let me start by saying I have never left a review for anything before...but I felt I NEEDED to leave one for Marcia and her team!!!! They truly made my wedding AMAZING!!! The dance floor was packed all night with every type of guest--from my crazy college friends to my parents' proper colleagues--they truly brought the crowd together!!! The band is all anyone could talk about at our brunch the day after the wedding...it is now weeks after the wedding and my guests are STILL talking about how amazing Marcia and her crew was!!!! From start to finish Marcia was amazing to work with. We may have a 5 year anniversary party just so we can book Marcia Mitchell Music again!!! Thank you so much for making my wedding night everything I imagined and then some!!!

Aside from saying “I do”, Marcia was the absolute highlight of our wedding! From young to old, all of our wedding guests could not stop raving about her. Vocals, song selections, flexibility....everything was on point. The energy of her and the rest of the band was contagious and permeated through the room - they all went out of their way to ensure guests were having a ball! She was such a joy to work with leading up to the wedding as well. I fell in love with this fabulous woman from our first call, and am so grateful we found her!! The Marcia Mitchell played at our daughter's wedding this past Saturday. They were amazing. Marcia has so much energy and they got everyone out on the dance floor and they stayed there most of the night. She and her fellow musicians really engage with the crowd. She gave us a comprehensive list of songs to choose from. She also asked what we absolutely didn't want played. We had guests from ages 18-80. She got almost everyone dancing and played a great variety. The bride and groom are on their early 30's and wanted some current songs but also she mixed in Motown and familiar songs people always want to dance to. We worked with her before hand so they knew to start with a quitter sound and something folks could eat dinner with and not have to shout. Then throughout the night she built the energy and kept it going until midnight!! I highly recommend The Marcia Mitchell Band!!

Very easy to work with and very flexible. This band is wonderful and gets the whole room on their feet and dancing. They gauge what songs are more popular and adjust. Love working with Marcia!

It has been a few weeks since my wedding, and every single person I talk to is still raving about Marcia and her team! We had not heard them before we hired them, and only hired on the basis of word of mouth, and you will not be disappointed! They were absolutely amazing to work with and had all my guests on the dance floor the entire night! The entire night was literally like you were at a concert. Marcia was with me every step of the way and knew everything to ask that I may have forgotten. Not only is she professional, but also makes you feel like you have known her your entire life. My husband and I recommend her and her band without any hesitations!

Get to know your vendor. Speak to them, email them, have a relationship with them before your event. Marcia was always there, always available, gave us advice, and we felt like we had a friend providing the entertainment at our event!

They appeal to every age. You can't go wrong with the Marcia Mitchell Band. We have used them several times and our members love this band age range from 20 to 70+. The only band we have ever used more than once in 20+ years. We used for our annual meeting entertainment but highly recommend for weddings.

Maria Mitchell band is the most fabulous band in all of Fla. We had a destination wedding arriving from NYC and all my guests agreed that they have never heard such a magnificent band. Everyone in the band interact3ed with my guests and they loved them. Go for it. You will not be disappointed.

I waould highly recommend Marcia for anyone that wants to have a fun time. She has an amazing ability to light up the room and make sure everyone is on the dance floor. Her repertoire of songs is extremely vast. The entire band bring something valuable to the experience, all extremely talented.

Marcia Mitchell Music was the best band we could have asked for our wedding. The music was perfect (We let Marcia pick the songs) and all of the guests were dancing the entire time. Marcia and her team knew how to read the crowd and played the biggest hits and top songs flawlessly. If you are having a wedding in the Miami area, there is only one band to book - book Marcia Mitchell and her team. Our guests are still raving about our band at the wedding.

Marcia was one of the nicest, most accommodating vendors we worked with. We had multiple conversations leading up to the wedding and she not only listened, she provided insight and suggestions and was truly a pleasure to work with. I actually miss talking to her because she was that lovely. She is genuinely excited for each of her brides and will hold your hand every step of the way if you need it ( which I did) in curating a perfect evening of music for your wedding. I wanted a mix of old and new and she did that perfectly. For people who want to cater to all of their guests, Marcia is your girl. She does old and new really really well and brings an energy that people will be talking about for years to come. She is not your typical south florida EDM wedding band- she is a class act!!

Marcia and the entire band were better than amazing! Not only did my entire family rave about them, but the entire party has been talking about the incredible job they did since the wedding, almost 2 weeks ago! They do a surreal job in keeping everyone having the best time and it is nearly impossible not to have the most amazing night with them! Forget the venue, forget the flowers this IS THE BAND YOU WANT/NEED. Make your budget work in order to have them. The music was PHENOMENAL!! 3 weeks later and that is all my guests are talking about. Marcia Mitchell Band brought the house down. The dance floor was packed the entire night! The music never stopped, the vocals were spot on, the bass player was incredible!! Debates occurred the next morning as to which musician was the best. Our grandfather argued that the drummer was incredible, my husband loved the bass and keyboards, a friend felt the guitarist was by far the best, but everyone was in agreement that the vocals made the night. I can’t begin to describe just how fantastic the music was. From the moment the doors opened they were in “high energy mode” and they never left it. The band was able to deal with any hiccups that presented themselves including a delay on our part during the introductions. Even when we were supposed to be seated to eat we were up and dancing. Incredible. I never sat down the entire night we just danced the night away! Any request that was made they were able to fulfill. Marcia was so available and willing to meet with us. She eased my Mom’s concern regarding music genres for all those invited from our 89 year old grandfather to our 16 year old cousins. The band was often captured by the photographer dancing with our guests as they played on the dance floor. They played everything from the hora, to Usher, to Nat King Cole.

For our wedding, the stars aligned and I managed to get THE Marcia Mitchell Band to rock the house and have our guests "swing from the chandeliers." From my first conversation with Marcia, I knew that I wanted her and her band to play at our wedding. Her vision of what a band that performs at weddings (as opposed to a typical "wedding band") was exactly what I was looking for - the kind of band that people weeks (and hopefully years) later will still be talking about. I will never forget how, after a few songs had played one of my friends said "I had no idea you invited Bruno and Taio!" All of the vocalists were amazing - I'm still so impressed when I think of the Celia Cruz rendition that was played during our Cuban-American wedding. Guests of all ages rarely spent time in their seats because the BAND WAS AWESOME. Thank you Marcia!

Marcia Mitchell Band was the most outstanding band I have ever heard. It was high energy, upbeat and amazing. Marcia joined us in dancing, and kept the crowd going all night. All of our guests keep asking me about where the band is from, how can they contact for future parties, etc. Without this band, the night wouldn't have been as wonderful and fun as it was. I would reccomend this band to anyone who wants to have a spectacular, jaw dropping, fun, and tasteful night.

All I can say is WOW!!! They rocked the house at my wedding! My guests were up dancing all night long. Marcia has an AMAZING voice and her band members are so versatile.
