    A unique and unforgettable wedding day


    We just had our wedding at Maravilla Gardens and it was one of the most beautiful, magical, wonderful experiences of my LIFE. The venue itself is just so unique and beautiful. The planning team, Jenn, Mel, Keith, Robert, Gidget etc are just masters at wedding planning and so the entire process was so easy and helpful. All of our guests loved the California feel to the venue and how unique it was. Maravilla constantly updates their own rentals, decor and services so it's always building. We also rented the day of getting ready house which was a life saver and saved me so much stress and worry about transportation. Mel is a dream come true month of coordinator and was very responsive and professional. We were so happy to have met her. Jenn was with his most of the earlier planning process and her and Gidget helped with all of the set up to throw it over the Mel. Keith and Robert for Command Performance Catering were amazing and so informative and helpful when building our wedding menu. We had multiple guests asking if the catering had a restaurant as well! Everyone absolutely loved the food, the atmosphere, the venue and everything that made our day as unique and magical as I could have ever imagined.

    Beautiful venue, great experience!

    Maravilla Gardens is not only breathtakingly beautiful, but also a well-organized, accessible, and comfortable venue both for the wedding party and the guests. We just celebrated our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding there and were very happy. Everyone commented on the beautiful setting – green and flowery, and shaded in all the right places. The ceremony, cocktail area and reception space are each right next to one another and the paths are wide and smooth – easy for everyone, even high heels and wheelchairs. The late-afternoon/evening event was warm and lovely. They put out the heat lamps at just the right time when it started to be chilly – perfectly placed and unobtrusive. There is a frame over the reception area that really adds to the ambiance and also provides support if it rains. The sound system is brand new and sounds great! The team at Maravilla is organized and personable and they know their stuff. Our outside planner and the Maravilla planners worked well together we felt confident and supported at every step. Jen, the venue owner, has an amazing barn full of beautiful and unique items she searches out to add to whatever ambiance you want to create. There are air-conditioned “getting ready” spaces for both halves of the wedding party. Bathrooms are spotless and plentiful. The caterer they use, Command Performance, is excellent and it was so nice to have the venue and caterer work together as an experienced team. We are so glad we got to celebrate at Maravilla and would choose them again in a heartbeat!

    Like a Hidden Gem

    I am a DJ so I work at a lot of venues in So Cal. When my wedding came around, I decided to use Maravilla because it is literally designed for weddings. They have a built in surround sound system for the DJ to patch into, the space is beautiful, the gardens are amazing, and it's perfect for larger weddings but also smaller more intimate weddings like mine. I will just let you see the photos for yourself.

    Even my photographer was blown away with how many perfect places there are to get magazine quality shots there.

    Let me start my review of Maravilla Gardens by saying it is a visually stunning venue for a wedding! The grounds are beautiful, bursting with spectacular flowering blooms and greenery. Our weather was absolutely perfect – not too hot during the day, and just cool enough once the sun set. For our daughter and son-in-law who were married there in June, 2012, it was their perfect day and everything they had dreamed of, and all of our guests had a fantastic time! The Command Performance Catering manager, Robert, was a joy to work with, and the food was fantastic! The Maravilla staff, from owner Jo to her daughter Jen, to our day-of-coordinator Erin, were a pleasure to work with - very professional, helpful and accommodating. A simply perfect day!!

    Absolutely beautiful

    We could not have been happier with our wedding at Maravilla Gardens. The venue and views are beautiful and so well laid out for the perfect flow from ceremony to cocktail area to reception area. Jen, Mel, and Robert were very on top of things and helped make sure everything ran smoothly and tasted delicious. So many of our guests said it was the best wedding they'd been to.

    Maravilla Gardens- The perfect venue!

    We were just married at Maravilla Gardens on 10/19/19 and thanks to Jen, Erin, Rob and Command Performance the day was perfect. During the planning process, I must of visited the venue 20 times. Jen was so accommodating and made me feel right at home. The venue was beautiful and Jen & company provided vender recommendations and helped make the process seamless. Everything was perfect and my guests couldn't stop raving about the venue and the food.
    There is also a beautiful house on the property that sleeps ten available to rent. Myself and my bridal party stayed in the house the night before which made getting ready a breeze. My husband and I stayed the night of our wedding. Very peaceful and quiet.

    Beautiful Venue

    We had our wedding on 8/17/19 at Maravilla Gardens. The venue is quite amazing!! Jen was super helpful in arranging for us to have our wedding there and Mel, our coordinator, was sooo super helpful. One can not say too much on how beautiful the grounds are!! All the wonderful different flowers, trees, and lawn well kept. The views in all directions will not disappoint!! Everyone there was amazed and could not help but take many photos of their own. So happy we were able to have our wedding at Maravilla Gardens! We had a Perfect Day!! You will not go wrong with this venue.

    The BEST in the area

    We can not thank them enough! Our original venue canceled on us 24 hours prior to our wedding because of the fires in the Venture County area and Maravilla reopened their venue (they were officially closed for the season) so we were able to make our special day happen. Even with the extra stress, they were happy to be there for us and knew exactly how to make our wedding guests feel special. The venue was beautiful, the staff was extremely nice and our guests loved celebrating with us at this venue. Thanks so much, Maravilla Gardens! We highly recommend this venue. Simply the BEST!

    Maravilla Gardens rescued our wedding and we are so grateful

    Our booked wedding venue had to cancel on us the day before our wedding due to wild fires in Malibu Canyon. By the time we learned this news, however, our incredible wedding planner, Jessica Foster Planning, had already been in touch with Jenn at Maravilla Gardens! Maravilla had ended its wedding season a couple of weeks prior, but so sweetly reopened to rescue our wedding! The grounds are beautiful and everything worked out so well. Our guests’ agreed that they couldn’t imagine what our initial venue was like because Maravilla was such a perfect location! My family and I agreed that we would have booked Maravilla from the start had we known how lovely it was initially. Thank you SO MUCH Jenn & Maravilla Gardens!

    The best venue around! Our wedding coordinator Erin was beyond amazing! The owners were always in communication with us and were extremely supportive throughout the entire process! From our first meeting with Jen we knew that we were in great hands! Robert was very supporive in helping us select our menu (as there are an abundance of options for appetizers, entrees, and desserts), and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. There are seriously not enough words to describe how effortless they made this process for my husband and I! Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing our wedding was! From the venue, to the food, to the views and everything in between!!! We were told by several guests that this is one of the best weddings they have ever been to! I would highly recommend this team and venue for an overall magical experience on your wedding day!!!!

    A Tuscan Dream!

    We knew Maravilla was the perfect venue for us within two minutes of our visit. We could not have been happier with the way our wedding turned out and so many of our guests had told us that it was the best wedding they've ever been to. Erin, our coordinator, was a dream to work with and created the wedding exactly to how I envisioned! They are super easy to work with, very organized and that takes so much stress out from all the crazy details that go into the day. If you are looking for a perfect venue that makes you feel like you're in Tuscany, have your wedding here! You won't regret it!

    Maravilla Gardens is such a beautiful venue. Everything was so easy working with both Jen and our wedding coordinator Erin. They really lay out everything necessary to get the ball rolling, and even help out with their list of preferred vendors (which really helps filter in reliable vendors when there are just so many out there to choose from). All of our guests fell in love with the venue when they set their eyes on the setup, fields and lights. You won't regret holding your wedding here.

    I had been searching for the perfect outdoor wedding venue in a garden location and one night I came across Maravilla Gardens through a Google search. After scrolling through their website I knew this location was everything that I was looking for and more. We quickly contacted them and booked a site tour. The in person visit was even more beautiful and I was constantly in awe of the location and the services that they offered. A few days after our visit we booked our date. Jen was great to work with and boy does she know her stuff! Each meeting was so productive and I left feeling more comfortable each time. So many people kept asking me if I was stressed out planning a wedding and working with Jen and her team helped make the planning process a lot easier. I loved how Maravilla Gardens provides almost everything you need. We loved working with their caterer, Command Performance Catering, our coordinator Mel was beyond amazing and we also ordered most of our rentals through MVG which was so convenient. All of our guest could not stop talking about how beautiful the location was and how seamless the day was. We truly had the best day ever and loved everything about our wedding day. We can’t thank Jen and her team enough for everything they did. Everything about Maravilla Gardens was truly perfect for our wedding.

    The Best Venue Ever! Even though I have only been a bride once, I have heard of other bride's experiences and I am very confident this venue will give you the best experience. There are so many beautiful options for venues, especially in this area. This venue was the most eye appealing to me, but it went beyond just the looks of the venue. There is much planning and natural stress that comes with getting married, but Maravilla Gardens and their staff relieve so much of it and truly made the process smoother than I could have ever asked for! They definitely know what they are doing and I appreciated their expertise in helping in all areas of my wedding. I was given resources to help make sure I had each aspect planned in a timely manner, suggestions of other vendors that had the same passion and expertise as Maravilla did, and my coordinator, Erin, is a saint! I had several family members and friends tell me how much they loved our wedding, not only because of us, but because of the venue. They raved about how beautiful the property was and how perfectly the day flowed (thanks to the Maravilla team). I am sure people say this to be nice, but multiple people said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I truly believe that credit goes to Maravilla Gardens and Erin.

    I cannot recommend Maravilla Gardens enough! I knew I wanted an outdoor spring time, but not a beach, wedding. I wanted it to be private and I didn't want to spend my entire life savings. After touring MG, I booked the next day. It was the only venue I visited in person. I knew it was the place for us. Working with the entire team at MG from Jen, to Erin, our coordinator, to Robert at CPC (catering), we knew we made the right choice. They are super responsive, accommodating and VERY organized which I loved. I planned our wedding in 6 months and ran into zero issues. The day of went better than I could have ever imagined. NOTHING went wrong, which is extremely rare with so many moving parts. The day went by flawlessly. Everyone raved about how amazing the venue and our wedding was. Our guests even personally thanked Erin for how smooth the day went. I would 100% recommend MG to anyone looking for an amazing wedding venue!

    Nothing but LOVE for this venue and the people who work here!! Our wedding day was absolute perfection. Our guests were stunned by how gorgeous this venue is!! The garden where the ceremony takes place is like a fairy tale, the views of the fields and valley from cocktail hour / reception cannot be beat, and the reception area is an outdoor dream. The market lights and gorgeous florals make for such a romantic feel, and they have a ton of great and affordable decor pieces you can rent. From our first tour, to the food tasting / showcase, to our 10 day meeting to the wedding day - they were professional, quick to respond, informative, and always willing to help! They use an online wedding planning system called basecamp (which was the same system my sister's wedding planner used) which kept all our information in one place and was an easy way to communicate with Maravilla Gardens and their caterer, Command Performance (incredibly great food!). Erin was our coordinator, and made sure we had every detail covered. I always felt at ease, and most importantly, they had everything managed so well that I didn't have anything to worry about day of. We were able to just focus on enjoying our day! We got married in Aug of 2016, and I wish we could go back to that day!! It was perfect and Maravilla Gardens was a huge part of the reason why.

    Words cannot express my gratitude to Maravilla Gardens. They were PHENOMENAL! The venue is breathtaking and so unique. It is different from any other wedding I had been to, and my guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue was. Further, the staff is incredible. They are so organized and made my wedding planning process a dream! Really, they make it as straightforward and not stressful as possible because they are organized and detail oriented. I was blown away by how they ran the entire process. Within minutes of sending an email I would have a response. They set up, run, and tear down the day so you and your family can truly absorb the entire wedding and not worry about a single detail. Jen and Rob are amazing people! My coordinator Erin was seriously so kind, helpful, and I could not have had the wedding of my dreams without her! I am so thankful to all of the staff at Maravilla Gardens.

    The venue is absolutely beautiful. The view of the cocktail area and reception is amazing, even at dark. I remember when entering the reception area for the first time, I got surprised myself. I hadn't seen the venue at night before and with the lights in the trees it looked so gorgeous. Jen is really helpful, she made sure that everything went as planned. I am really happy with our choice of venue.

    My husband and I were married at Maravilla Gardens in June 2015. From the day we picked MG to be our wedding venue, Jen was nothing but helpful. She was extremely organized and made what could have been a very overwhelming experience, an easy and a comfortable experience planning a wedding for 180 guests. The grounds are absolutely stunning and the way everything is set up to transition from ceremony, to cocktail hour and then to reception is seamless. The feedback from our guests was that this is the best wedding they had ever been to and we have Maravilla Gardens to thank for that. The staff is wonderful and our day of coordinator Heidi was amazing too! Don't be hesitant to book this place because they only have one food vendor they work with. These people (Command Performance) know what they are doing, are accommodating and it evident in their quality of food. Our guests also still talk about how great the food was at our wedding. I couldn't have imagined a more perfect venue for the most important day of my life!

    I’m not sure where to even start with this AMAZING venue. Our wedding day was perfect, and the planning process was streamlined and simple from start to finish (said no bride ever, right?!!). The venue itself is incredibly well thought out and always manicured to a 10+ —each space provides guests with a unique and different “WOW” factor (ceremony, reception & cocktail), while remaining cohesive and consistent. I LOVE that you can customize things to your hearts content at Maravilla with the use of their rentals (or outside rentals); or have a simple wedding that focuses on the natural beauty of the venue-the space doesn’t need anything, but the option is there if that’s what you love. The staff is kind, courteous, timely and professional, and they don’t leave anything to guesswork (attention to detail is their thing). Maravilla is also a great value… without looking like it! Who wouldn’t want that! Their list of vendor references is on point if you need assistance in other aspects of planning, and their catering partner, Command Performance Catering, is outstanding. I was initially a bit hesitant about being “locked in” to a catering company as my husband and I are total foodies (as were many of our guests), but fear not, as CPC totally rocks and the options are basically limitless. We can’t thank Jen/Maravilla Gardens enough for such a positive experience…our guest were blown away the entire evening and everyone really felt like family from start to finish. If I could do it all over again…I would choose Maravilla and I wouldn’t change a thing! If that’s not a rave review I don’t know what is. A million THANK YOU’s for our favorite night ever. S+ S

    "My husband & I got married at Maravilla Gardens in April 2015. After months of searching for the ideal outside venue, we found everything we wanted at Maravilla. We loved that it was a family owned business and fell in love with its beauty both on site and with the backdrop of the mountains. We also thought it was neat that we could rent items (ie: barn door and LOVE sign were some of our favorites). In doing a travel theme for our wedding we came to Jen with the thought of having our small cake along with an airplane piñata displayed somewhere around a tree. She came up with a fantastic idea of hanging the cake and then had her husband make a cake swing for us!
    During our wedding, we had the wonderfully talented Erin working with us. Her calm demeanor and genuine smile made the night run smoothly and put us at ease that everything was going to plan throughout the day/night. We also want to thank Rob with Command Performance Catering for the amazing food and dining experience. I would also highly suggest going with DJ’s and florists off Maravilla’s recommended list as it lowers the stress level because they know the venue and staff. We had Henry from VOX DJ’s and Janet from Greenwich Florist. We would give them both 5 stars!
    Throughout the wedding and at the brunch the day after, we got many comments such as, “This is the best wedding I have ever been too!” I would like to take some of that credit, however, the majority of the credit goes to the Maravilla Gardens staff, their expertise and their love for weddings.

    THIS VENUE IS MAGICAL. MY DAUGHTER'S WEDDING WAS HERE ON 8/31/14 AND EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. MY GUESTS WERE OVERWHELMED WITH HOW BEAUTIFUL THIS PLACE IS. JENNIFER, THE OWNER, IS WONDERFUL. THEY ARE SO ORGANIZED AND ON TOP OF EVERYTHING. THE WEDDING COORDINATOR, CAROLYN, THAT MARAVILLA PROVIDED PAID ATTENTION TO EVERY DETAIL AND WAS SO ADORABLE! YOU HAVE TO USE THEIR CATERER, COMMAND PERFORMANCE, BUT I DON'T THINK, IF I HAD A CHOICE, WOULD HAVE USED ANYONE ELSE. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS AND FRESH. MY 2 PET PEEVES ABOUT OTHER WEDDINGS IS THAT AFTER THE CEREMONY THERE IS ALWAYS A LINE AT THE BAR AND THE APPETIZERS ARE SCARCE. HERE, THEY HAD OUR SIGNATURE DRINKS PREPOURED AND WERE SERVING THEM ON TRAYS AS SOON AS THE CEREMONY WAS OVER. AND THE APPETIZERS KEPT ON COMING. I WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMMEND THIS VENUE!

    My wife & I got married at Maravilla in August and we could not have asked for a more perfect experience. The venue alone is breathtaking, but what makes this place surpass all others is the personal attention you get. Jen & Erin were available to answer all of our questions quickly & were there for us at all times, from the initial meeting & tour all the way to the sparkler farewell.

    Rob with Command Performance Catering was also wonderful to work with. His ideas for decorating the tables was invaluable. Not to mention the food was AMAZING (we received tons of compliments on the delicious buffet from our guests even weeks after the wedding was over).

    I don't think it's often that the couple receives thank you cards from their guests but to this day we are still receiving cards & compliments from our friends & family that ours was one of the best weddings they have ever attended. In addition, our florist & officiant both had not done a wedding at Maravilla before, but both were extremely impressed and said Maravilla was one of the best places they had ever worked at. We can say with confidence that we have Maravilla's staff, their expertise, and their accommodating demeanor to thank for that.

    So, to Maravilla Gardens, THANK YOU! You helped make our wedding day one that will never be forgotten!
