    Your Best Wedding Investment

    Emily was our day-of coordinator for our September 2025 wedding, and truly she was our best investment. As someone who was worried about all of the details and wanted to ensure I had someone I could trust to run our wedding day, Emily was truly better than I could have hoped for! While we hired her to be our "day-of" coordinator, we started working with her months before our wedding, and she advised us on all things logistics leading up to the day. We chose Emily because she had years and years of experience and she has a cool, calm demeanor that put us at ease. Emily was a star at running our wedding rehearsal, and her and her team always knew what was going on day-of. Our parents and wedding party also commented at how professional Emily and her team were, and what a stellar job they did. I would highly recommend Emily to ensure your wedding day is seamless!

    The key to our wedding success

    Emily was the glue that made our wedding work - and made all our memories of the day nothing but pure joy and excitement. I had multiple people ask me the day before the wedding what I was anxious about and I responded honestly "literally nothing" and that is completely due to Emily. We planned a Seattle wedding from San Francisco, and Emily made amazing recommendations, did a ton of legwork, lent us decor (including dropping it days in advance at our hotel), and also rolled with all of our wacky and non traditional requests (tiki mug favor table, being picky about pies for dessert, last minute changes to late night food menu, adding a coffee pickup, etc.) without a single complaint. She was also very easy to communicate with, and extremely responsive. Emily, we truly could not have done it without you - thank you for making this special day one full of joy and ease for us. You rock at your job. I wholeheartedly recommend Emily to anyone looking for a coordinator or planner - we used her full service planning package and I know it not only made things easy for us, it also saved us money. Hiring a planner was the best choice we made for our wedding - give yourself that gift too!

    The Best Wedding Coordinator Ever!!

    Book Manette Gracie for your wedding!! I cannot recommend them enough. I have worked many weddings myself, and Thera and Emily at Manette Gracie are the most incredible wedding coordinators we could ever ask for!!

    Thera went above and beyond all our expectations and we are so grateful for everything she did behind the scenes to make our weekend so special. She is attentive, incredibly responsive, and a wealth of knowledge. Thank you so much for everything!!

    Cannot recommend highly enough

    Emily was a truly amazing coordinator and planner. She knows everyone, she's always available, she's done it a million times and she has great taste. I went into the wedding planning process already with a DJ and a photographer thinking "How hard can the rest of it be?" and holy shit, it's really hard! She coordinated a last-minute venue change, dessert pickup, worked with vendors, and even got us menus and seating charts. She remembered the 9 million things I would have forgotten. This was the best money I spent on the wedding!

    AMAZING wedding day-of coordinator!

    We initially didn’t think we needed a day-of coordinator, but we ended up hiring Emily because we quickly realized we were in over our heads – and she ended up being the single best investment for our wedding. From our first meeting, she went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was perfect. She attended our venue and catering meetings and brought up questions/ideas that we never would’ve thought of. When we had to reschedule, cancel, and un-cancel our wedding due to COVID-19, she remained flexible and incredibly reliable even with the drastic changes to our plans. On the wedding day, she knew the venue layout and schedule better than we did! She lent us décor items, helped us with set-up and tear down, and even went out of her way to return some items to our florist at the end of the night. We were able to fully enjoy our wedding day because we knew Emily would make sure everything flowed smoothly. We will forever refer our engaged friends and family to Emily for wedding planning/DOC services!

    Fantastic service and unfailing flexibility

    We hired Emily with the initial expectation that she would help us coordinate and plan our big day. As a global pandemic unfolded and required us to re-plan our wedding multiple times, Emily was invaluable in helping us think through the different considerations. She knew all the questions to ask our venue and other vendors in the lead up to the event and she coordinated all the moving pieces on the day of so my fiancé and I could focus on being in the moment. If we had to plan a wedding again, we would bring Emily onboard!

    Amazing, down to earth officiant

    Emily officiated our Mount Rainier Elopement. Despite only talking on the phone to her twice, she did an incredible job weaving our backstory into the ceremony. Prior to the actual event, we shared details with Emily about our relationship which she then used to write the ceremony and allowed us to review the script beforehand which I really appreciated! Emily did an incredible job of filling the ceremony with emotion and familiarity, she really has a way with words. Additionally, she was up for a long hike to the ceremony location which was a great bonus. She also took care of the paperwork after the ceremony which was convenient for us since we are from outside of Washington. We can't recommend Emily enough, she made the most important part of the day incredibly special.

    A big thank you to Emily for helping coordinate our wedding photo session!

    Emily was such a pleasure to work with!! We hired her as our day-of-coordinator when our first venue, the Monte Cristo Ballroom closed 7 months before our wedding. It was an extremely stressful time and we were fortunate to have found Emily who offered a substantial discount for Monte Cristo couples and free rentals for her gold plate chargers and cake stand. We met at our second venue, the Inglewood Golf Club for our planning session. She was very organized and experienced. Emily brought up questions and options that we haven't considered before. We were set with our wedding until the pandemic hit. Saddened that we had to cancel our big wedding, we decided to move forward on our original wedding date, May 23, 2020 and celebrated with an intimate ceremony at home.

    A couple of months later, we asked Emily if she would like to help us with our bridal and groom photo session, which she was excited be a part of. Emily coordinated pick up and returns at Grand Event Rentals as well as provided gold chargers and votive candles for our sweet heart table. She gave us many options and location ideas. During the week of our photo session at Lakewold Gardens, the forecast predicted a high chance of rain on the day when we were scheduled to take pictures. Emily was super responsive and understanding of the last minute change! Grand Event Rentals did not open Sundays and she organized pick up on Friday and returns on Monday with no extra charge. The photo session went very smoothly with her help setting up and breaking down the sweet heart table and items. With so many changes to our wedding plans this year, we can't thank Emily enough for her patience and dedication during these challenging times!

    There's a reason why there are so many glowing reviews about Emily!!

    Emily is absolutely fantastic!! There are a ton of reviews ranting and raving about how she is the greatest, and here comes another.


    I hired Emily as my Day-Of Coordinator, and she did an absolutely fantastic job. She is insanely organized, and will ask you so many questions you've never even thought about during the planning process. She took note of everything, and would offer suggestions or assistance if we struggled with any part of the planning process. Cake baker dropped out? No problem, she provided us with two more recommendations. Don't know what to do for table numbers? She has a supply of items that you can use for your wedding, and she was able to lend us table numbers (very pretty wood-cut ones) that perfectly matched our theme and looked so good on our tables! She coordinated with all of our vendors, created a timeline for the day-of, scheduled meetings with and stayed on top of our venue to ensure that the day was going to run very smoothly. It was so reassuring to have her in our corner - any time we had a question, she was just an email or text away, and she was always quick to respond.


    The day before she walked us through the entire ceremony, providing everyone in the wedding with a printed timeline of where they needed to be and when. She walked everyone through the actual ceremony, of who walks in when, from where, at what pace, and where people are supposed to stand. Every little detail was accounted for, and honestly I wasn't even nervous the day before the wedding, because I knew Emily was on top of it.


    The day of was a dream, and went so smoothly! Emily coordinated everyone, and I had no responsibilities. She ensured our cake delivery, the timing of when the florist would arrive and drop off bouquets and boutonnieres. She set up our DIY photo booth, card box, and guest book signing table, which looked absolutely beautiful! She ensured that we were running on schedule, checking in with us every so often to see if we needed anything. She had appetizers and champagne waiting in our room for us right after the ceremony, which was lovely, because we were starving and got to take a few minutes to actually take in the fact that we were MARRIED before getting to return to cocktail hour and enjoy our guests. She even had wedding cake delivered to our room after the reception ended, in case we wanted to enjoy some that night.


    Honestly my wedding day was perfect. Everything ran on schedule, nothing went off the rails. I give Emily the credit for it because she was so well prepared going into the big day. We knew everything we needed to beforehand, and she had clearly communicated everything our vendors needed to know to them, because everything ran so smoothly! Hiring Emily was one of the smartest decisions I made when planning my wedding, and I would 100% recommend her to anyone thinking about using her for planning services. She is worth it!!!

    100% worth it

    Emily was worth her weight in gold (and then some more) on our wedding day. She was always ready to roll up her sleeves and jump in, headed off vendor questions with ease, and kept the general set up and last minute details from ever reaching my plate. She had suggestions and ideas for us when we were at a loss, an amazing lending library of wedding decor we would have otherwise had to purchase, and the community connections and know how to get things done. As soon as we hired her (late in the game!) she took tons of work off my plate. Would highly recommend Emily and Manette Gracie for anyone needing a coordinator of any sort!

    Emily is fantastic and you won't regret it! I believe Emily has a staff of event planners and I somehow was lucky enough to get her. I'm sure everyone who works for her is equally amazing, but I can't tell even begin to describe how wonderful our wedding turned out because of her. She made everything seamless from planning to execution. Hiring Manette Gracie will be one of the best decisions you make if you are getting married and her super calm demeanor about everything is essential when getting through your big day.

    We worked with Emily to plan our 12/10 wedding and it was a total delight! Emily got down to business from our first phone conversation and in a good way. Other planners wanted to meet up for champagne and cookies but I didn't have time for that with our short engagement. Emily was calm, reassuring and always rolled with whatever we threw her way. She's much more than just a day-of coordinator. We also utilized much of their decor for our wedding. Who wants to go out and buy tons of votives, glass cylinders, wood rounds, table numbers, easels, serving trays and cake stands? They're all included! If you're going to plan a wedding, A) hiring a coordinating will totally let you enjoy the day and B) Manette Gracie is wonderful and a great value!!! I would go with them in a heartbeat and Emily was worth every penny!

    I worked with Rachel from Manette Gracie and she was wonderful to work with. She was always very timely with responding to emails and always had an answer to my questions and if she didn't she would find the answer.     My husband and I got engaged in January, and decided to plan an August wedding. We are both from Bainbridge Island, but currently live in Washington, DC, so I NEEDED a wedding planner. Katie from Manette Gracie was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. She let me make decisions and took as much of the lead as I needed her to. Because I was a long distance bride, it was important to me that she and the owner were very familiar with the venue (Farm Kitchen) and other vendors that I chose for our wedding. We opted for coordinating services because I was long distance and would not be able to have the pre-wedding meetings, and I am a teacher so I am pretty organized and creative when it comes to a vision. Katie and her team took everything in stride, and she really took control of the show at the rehearsal dinner to make sure that everyone was comfortable and knew exactly what they needed to do. On the day of, she was absolutely perfect. She popped in when necessary, and helped us stick to a schedule, while never making us feel rushed or awkward in the process. If anything went wrong, I never knew about it, but I also was not worried in the least because she had every last detail under control. I would recommend Katie to my closest friends, and cannot say enough wonderful things about her or how she made the entire wedding process enjoyable and stress free.

    It would be impossible for me to express how instrumental Emily was in making my wedding happen. I was a DIY-lite bride - I made all of the decor myself but needed help executing my vision. I hired Emily as my day-of coordinator and couldn't be more happy with how she made everything happen. She is beyond quick in terms of email response and worked alongside my other vendors seamlessly. I gave her detailed layouts for my decor and entered my venue to find that she tweaked them just slightly to improve them - the result was phenomenal. The space looked gorgeous thanks to her and her assistant's eye for detail and commitment to executing my vision.

    Emily also made sure the event proper moved seamlessly. She always seemed to be right there when we needed her but invisible otherwise. I am so grateful for her services - definitely one of the best investments I have ever made.

    I knew from the start I was going to have a very DIY wedding. We were planting all the centerpieces, brewing all the beer, making all the guest favors, and creating a lot of the other decor. And I was confident I could handle that stuff. What I wasn't confident about is whether I could handle all the other stuff I probably didn't even know would come up because I haven't been in that many weddings before and have certainly never planned one. When I initially suggested a coordinator my husband and M.O.H weren't too keen on it. My husband thought it would be a waste of money and my M.O.H didn't think they could do anything she couldn't. Flash forward to two weeks before our wedding and I remember my husband to be saying "Emily is a godsend. She's been worth every penny." And he's exactly right. We hired Emily as a day of coordinator but she was so much more then that. She was always willing to take emails and make suggestions. And her role the week of our wedding is almost indescribable. It felt like she did everything. Like our only job was to get married and occasionally answer questions. She coordinated to vendors, set-up and broke down our venue, made sure the groomsman ate before the wedding (though she did not provide the food herself, of course) and made our reception area look exactly as I had pictured with very little direction. There were no tears of stress shed in the week of my wedding by myself or any of the bridal party. We were never worried. We trusted Emily to handle the details and guide us on how to make things run smoothly. I cannot thank her enough. Book her, book her now!

    Hire Manette Gracie if you want to enjoy your engagement and wedding plans instead of spending your entire engagement stressing about it.

    Lauren Guy was our coordinator, and she is incredibly insightful; she really listened to what we wanted, shared our vision instead of forcing another one (something I was concerned about when thinking about hiring a coordinator) and made recommendations that we loved and could afford. Besides saying yes to marrying my awesome partner, deciding to hire Manette Gracie is probably the best decision I made in the last year.

    All of Lauren's recommendations were wonderful: delicous, professional and kind foodie caterers, crazyfun band, talented photographers that were professional but not too expensive but also not too obtrusive... well, I can write on and on... but there is a word limit here.

    Lauren and Emily gave us so much great advice from day one (even before we hired them) that we knew they were going to be genuinely helpful. Lauren was so generous with her advice, but not pushy. She somehow magically knew when telling me something more would be helpful and when it would stress me out. She is great at stepping up and back! She was always on time (or early?), emailed and called back with a ton of information quickly, and sooo caring and positive!

    Our wedding still very much felt like it was OURS, just we had waaay less stress about it because she dealt with so many of the time intensive details for us. Oh, and it ran on time. My family and friends are still shocked.

    My day of wedding coordinator, Lauren was my savor! I seriously love her :) She made my day go so smoothly. She was always prompt with any appts we had. She was always smiling and helpful. I didn't have to think and she just knew what to do, so nice! My husband and I are so happy that we hired Lauren to be there for us on our biggest day of our life. I can go on on about how amazing Lauren is, but I'll just keep it short and simple.

    Emily was very helpful and responsive!
    Lauren was outstanding! She showed up before 2pm for our 6pm reception and coordinated all our vendors. She stayed until 11pm to help us cleaned up and put everything away. She did everything as we wanted and our decoration turned out beautifully! Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended!

    This is a long overdue rave about Lauren Guy from Manette Gracie. She coordinated our wedding this past February and "above and beyond" are the best words I can think of. We had the day-of coordination package because we had a budget and because we enjoyed the planning. Lauren still met with us twice before the wedding to know what our vision was, that we'd thought of certain details (no! We hadn't!), and to connect with all the vendors. I can't say how valuable it was. I do event planning but your wedding is different. You just can’t know how many decisions and details there will be, nor can you possibly carry them all out yourself.
    We got married in winter in the Cascade Mountains. There was a major snowfall the day before the wedding – beautiful, but hard to drive in! We got to the venue hours later than we had planned but Lauren was quickly on top of every detail and sweetly got everyone in line for the rehearsal (above and beyond, not even the wedding day!). In the morning I barely saw her except when she came to the bridal room to bring me snacks and make sure I was having fun (above and beyond)! Meanwhile, she was "making it all happen." Honestly, the rest is just a blur of laughter, food, dancing, toasts, and smiling faces. I know there were unpredicted glitches and fires to put out because I heard about them later, but I had NO idea about any of it that night. At the end, we all left happy and Lauren packed up all the gifts, cards, extra favors, wine, and decorations in boxes that were waiting for us in the morning (ABOVE AND BEYOND!). I can't even begin to explain all that she did because it was invisible to me. Every time I saw her, Lauren was smiling and asking if I needed anything, not once asking me what I wanted to do about something, or showing any signs that things weren't under control.     My husband, Mike, and I had originally hired a different wedding coordinator. She ended up backing out on us about a month prior to the wedding. So I was searching for another coordinator somewhat under duress.

    In my worn down state, I stumbled across Manette Gracie online. From the instant I reached out to Emily, I was treated with respect, professionalism and courtesy. It turned out that Lauren was available the day of our wedding. Upon meeting Lauren, I was instantly impressed. She was not only prompt and professional but was funny, charming and incredibly prepared. I knew, without a doubt, that we would hire her. It turned out to be one of the absolute best decisions we could have made about our wedding.

    It didn't matter how many times I contacted Lauren, she responded right away and never once complained about my inane questions and requests. She gave me great suggestions and brought to my attention things that I hadn't really thought of. No matter what I was stumped about, Lauren offered up multiple solutions, clearly pulling from her magic bag of wedding tricks.

    On the day of the wedding, we had some concerns regarding timing because of another wedding at the same venue. Lauren ensured that our day was on time and she was incredibly low stress, helpful, charming and so easy to work with. She ensured that whatever hiccups happened that day never even entered my bridal bubble.

    It is not possible for me to express how pleased we were with both Emily (who sent us a very nice congratulations and thank you email -- completely unexpected and delightful!) and Lauren. While we didn't have nearly as much direct interaction with Emily, she was very professional and friendly.

    Lauren, however, is a rock star wedding coordinator. If you are debating about whether or not to spend the money to hire her, stop whatever you are doing and hire her right now. You will be ever grateful that you did.

    Emily is THE BEST!! I cannot recommend her wedding planning/coordinating services more highly . Make sure to book her EARLY in the process of planning your wedding, and go for the partial or full planning package. It's totally worth it - for example, Emily connected us to several other great vendors (who all did an awesome job), and was key in helping with our planning.

    Emily went above and beyond in so many ways, and gave us a lot of really helpful advice that we wouldn't have thought of ourselves - and that I didn't see online as I looked through various wedding resources.

    And best of all, I didn't worry about anything once she arrived on the day of my wedding, which is saying a lot, because I am a major worrywart. Things went so smoothly, thanks to Emily and her assistant. Book her now - it will be the best decision of your wedding!

    Lauren from Manette Gracie was our day-of coordinator, and she was amazing! She was very helpful beforehand with planning tips and ideas - things that I hadn't even thought to think of yet. She was so organized and communicative.
    On the day of, she was truly amazing! She made the day go perfectly, without a flaw, and allowed my mom and me to relax and really enjoy ourselves. She was going and going the whole time to make sure everything was going smoothly! Every time we thought to do something, Lauren had already taken care of it! She worked so hard and was the reason that we were able to relax and enjoy our special day.

    I wish there was an option to double the stars.

    Lauren saved the day. Not that anything was wrong with the day, just that I didn't think about our logistics and tiny details, not once not even for a second, throughout our entire reception even though I planned and planned and panicked for the better part of a year... it was DIY to the core.

    Lauren coordinated over a dozen vendors, including a shuttle that ran all night to various locations, and my big crazy Indian family. All the while, she made sure the music never stopped even though my laptop fell asleep every 15 minutes or so regardless of the settings.

    Every couple I've spoken with said they didn't get to eat at their wedding. We ate a ton. In between everything, she magically appeared in front of us with a smile and offered to bring us food and drinks. We ate and drank all night and had the best time ever.

    Even though I did the planning, she and Emily sent us ideas throughout the year, and they were so thoughtful about it. Instead of "can't you stretch your budget to have a photographer?" it was "Here are fun things you can do to work around it." The moment that I couldn't handle any more ideas, the suggestions magically stopped.

    Seriously... magic.

    Hire them. Even if you think you have everything under control, even if you've planned a million events.

    Emily was a complete life and sanity saver. She did a fantasic job executing my vision with our decor, helped build our timeline, communicated with all our vendors, kept things running smoothly on our wedding day and saved us enough on rentals to cover her fees. I knew Emily was right for us within moments of meeting her and we can't recommend her enough!

    Hiring Manette Gracie was truly the best decision we made during our wedding planning process.

    We hired Lauren as a day-of-coordinator, but received incredible service from both Lauren and Emily throughout our wedding planning process. They recommended fantastic vendors (in the Poulsbo area where we were hosting our wedding), had great ideas on décor that reflected us personally, and responded immediately to any question (large or small) we had.

    At the rehearsal and on the day-of, Lauren was truly a life saver. We were running behind schedule on both days and tensions (including mine!) were running high. Lauren jumped in with ease, managing all vendors, keeping everyone calm, and handling every little detail with a smile on her face. She did everything from managing the rehearsal to supplying a phone charger for the groom to whisking my bouquet away during the cocktail hour without me having to ask. I truly did not have to think about anything besides enjoying myself once the reception started and I cannot thank Lauren enough for that.

    As wedding planners go, their rates are incredibly reasonable--they are worth every penny and more! I cannot recommend them highly enough. Hire them before someone else gets to them first!

    Wow, Manette Gracie is amazing! Emily and Lauren were unbelievably helpful and responsive to my thoughts and questions. Considering I hired them as day-of-wedding coordinators and not as full wedding planners, they really invested a lot of time and effort into my event. And both are truly lovely to work with. I have no idea how my wedding would have occurred without their help. An absolute must-hire.

    I don't know where to begin to describe what a pleasure it was to work with Emily. I booked her about a year ago as a day of coordinator with assistance with prior planning. We exchanged many e-mails over the last year and she has been a fabulous resource. She is creative and has had an answer or solution to all of my crazy bridal ideas.

    During the rehearsal, Emily was fabulous at wrangling all my family and getting them to line up and do as their told! It was crazy with such a large wedding party but she helped us run through everything twice so I was more than confident the day of would run smoothly.

    The day of Emily was such a huge help. If for nothing else, at the very least HIRE HER AS A DOC! She was running around making sure all the last details were buttoned up and everything looked fabulous. She coordinated with all the vendors during their set up and I didn't have to do a thing. Even with our ceremony starting 20 minutes late (which we expected), Emily had created a flawless timeline that we ran AHEAD of schedule the rest of the day and my photographer was able to capture every important moment without running our of time. Emily was amazing at the end of the night helping to pick up and pack up and making sure everything went home with the right person. She even stayed to help clean up and was the last to leave well after my husband and I had departed the venue. I am sure she did so much more that day that I am unaware of but that's because I was so relaxed and was confident as she made the day run perfect!

    Emily and her team are amazing! Hiring them to help with our wedding was the best decision we made! Emily and lauren are a pure joy to work with an I cannot recommend them enough. From the initial meeting to the actual weddig day everything was perfect! They made everything run so smoothly and I dont think we could have done it without them! Emily also has tons of creative ideas that made our big day extra special. Our guests were blown away by everything and everyone had a great time!     Emily was a godsend. Period.
    Hiring her was hands down one of the best decisions that my mother, now husband and I made in the wedding planning process.

    At first, we were all kind of skeptical of hiring a wedding planner. But once we met with Emily, I knew she was the right fit and the gal I wanted there on the big day!

    Not only was she someone I could drop an e-mail to any time and get a quick reply back, but she was full of resources and useful ideas. I loved the fact that I had someone to bounce ideas off of and most importantly to make sure that all my ducks were in a row before the big day.

    Emily answered my questions, talked with vendors-coordinating, confirming contracts, arrival times, etc..., she also kept my mom and I calm on the day of and was our lifesaver with help in facilitating the extra staff we needed at a reception location that did not have staff included.

    And if something went wrong on our day of, well, I had no idea of it. Everything ran so smoothly. Just like butta'.

    It's obvious from reading other brides reviews that Emily knows what shes doing.

    Everyone in our bridal party, especially my mother and now husband, were impressed with Emily, her team, and her emotionally stressful line of work.
    She is that woman behind the scenes making things flow more smoothly then I could have ever imagined.

    Emily and Manette Gracie Events was absolutely amazing! We hired her for a day of coordinating and she turned out to be much more helpful than we could have ever imagined! Leading up to the wedding she provided us with tips, ideas and so much more. She met with us and did several phone conferences to help us finalize all of the details for our special day. She supervised our rehearsal, making it run smooth and preparing us for the big day. On the Wedding day, she was at the venue before us, meeting with all of the vendors and directing them accordingly. She helped set up all of our decorations and everything turned out just as we imagined. Throughout the night she oversaw all of the events and took care of every single detail so we could focus on having fun. She took care of all of the clean up and tear down of decorations, coordinating who would take what, so we could continue celebrating. We were able to enjoy our wedding day and we have Emily to thank for that. Emily was so helpful, she was fun, creative, professional, organized and punctual.     Hiring Emily was one of the best decisions I made in the wedding planning process, bar none. I was one of those "I am super organized and type A, so I might not need a planner" type of person, but came to realize that the extra help, even for the wedding day alone, would keep me calm, relaxed and focused on having fun and enjoying the day. And that's exactly what Emily did- she was professional, super friendly, creative and flexible throughout the planning process.

    To start, I definitely had to keep budget in mind when selecting a wedding planner. I was aiming for a "day-of" or "week-of" coordinator. My parents, to start, thought this was entirely silly, saying, "you're so organized, what would there even be for a wedding planner to do?" By the end, they were eating their words.

    Emily, from my first email with her, was courteous, knowedgeable, enthusiastic and creative. Not to mention AMAZING at helping me de-stress when I was getting anxious about one thing or another. She walked me through the planning process step by step, even though I had just hired her as a "month of" coordinator, and raised lots of questions that were helpful for me to think about 6 months before the wedding, instead of 6 days.

    She kept in great contact with me throughout the planning process, and always came up with great suggestions and ideas when I was stumped, wanted to change something, or needed a budget friendly way to implement a certain idea.

    My mom and I met with her several weeks before the wedding and she was so fun and friendly. She made sure to address all my questions, as well as my mom's, and took note of the few things we thought might be an issue on the wedding day. As the date got closer, she followed up with all of my vendors to confirm their schedules and even helped me coordinate with someone who I was having a hard time getting in touch with- this REALLY helped me keep my stress at bay.

    A few days before the wedding, my parents could really see everything that a wedding planner can do. Who would distribute the checks to the musicians and photographer? Emily will! Who will make sure all the gifts get put away securely? Emily will! Who will make sure the music isn't too loud, and that the microphone gets handed around during toasts? Emily will! I can't name all the things she did for us that day, these were just a few. But she did ALL those little things, not just so I didn't have to, but so I didn't have to WORRY about them, because I knew those tasks were in such responsible hands.

    I would recommend Manette Gracie Events to anyone who wants help planning their event- to whatever degree- as Emily is a true professional, and such a lovely person to work with.

    I used to be an event planner and day-of coordinator many years ago. So, when it came down to planning my own wedding, I knew that I wanted to keep it fun, simple and didn’t want to lift a finger on my wedding day.
    Hiring Emily at Manette Gracie Events was one of the many great decisions we made. First off, her rates are very reasonable. I interviewed other coordinators and thought their prices were WAY too high for the service. Our wedding was small (only 65 people) and would have already been mostly planned, we really just needed someone to babysit the event and make sure that everything goes smoothly. Emily was outstanding. She was friendly, sweet and easy to correspond with. She made GREAT last minute recommendations for vendors. My friend was supposed to do my flowers but bailed on us, so the week before the wedding Emily gets me in touch with a fabulous florist who put together some stunning bouquets and boutonnieres at a moment’s notice and a fraction of the price.

    For your wedding day, I really can’t stress enough the value of having a day-of coordinator. Think of it this way… Your wedding is your Big Special Day and you're the director. Have fun putting it together, but when it comes to the actual wedding day, give yourself a break; be the actor at your Big Day and just have fun. Your guests didn’t travel from all over to watch you run around coordinating. Emily was such a wonderful presence at the wedding and the rehearsal. My family and guests loved having her around and thought she and her assistant were just fantastic. She was genuinely happy to be there sharing in our special day.

    We were originally just going to hire her for the day-of only service. But some things came up and we needed the extra help the month before. We met with her at the venue, we discussed ideas and for the whole next month she was quick to respond to anything else we needed. Wow, I can’t really say enough good things about Emily at Manette Gracie Events. Save yourself the hassle, and just hire her.

    Hiring Emily was one of the best decisions we made. She met with me early on to discuss our day, was easy to contact and quick to respond to emails, and was invaluable the day of our wedding.

    While I was off getting dressed and interacting with the photographer, she directed the set up of the reception tables, guest book table, and decorations. She set up the ceremony chairs and helped everyone transport them over to the reception tables afterwards. She coordinated with my photographer and the caterers, and was a great go-to person for our guests. As the evening came to a close, she worked with the state park workers to tear down the site, clean up, and see everyone out the door. She even made sure our leftovers made it to our overnight cabin, in case we were hungry! The funny thing is that I barely even saw her that day! She had it so completely in hand that I didn't have to worry about a thing, leaving me and my husband time to spend with our guests. That is exactly why we hired Emily, and are still so glad we did. We even heard back from our guests about how helpful she was.

    If you're on the fence, I highly recommend talking to her. I've been married twice, the first time with no coordinator. Now seeing the difference, I'll always recommend one. Emily took care of the business of the day, allowing my husband and I to simply step back and enjoy everything we'd planned for. Really, when you've spent months planning, isn't that what should happen?

    Emily of Manette Gracie Events is a wedding day lifesaver.

    Being on a tight budget, I thought having a day of coordinator would be an expense I couldn't justify. However, our venue was very DIY. We had minimal time to set up and break down and a lot to do! Emily was willing to work with my budget. At the first meeting, she was friendly, down to earth and organized. She offered unlimited email correspondence prior to the event and responded so quickly with great suggestions and ideas. Also, she was able to pass on discounts for other vendors.

    The day of she was there before me and already directing all the other vendors and getting things done. We had 1.5 hours to get everything set up and get dressed before guests arrived. She helped decorate (photobooth, guest book, escort cards, kids table and other decor), gave the DJ and florist their instructions, met with city park staff to get us checked in, organized the catering crew, reminded me to go get dressed because the photographer would be there any minute (yes, I needed a reminder to get dressed), loaded us up with food when we were too distracted to eat and on and on. She made most of the announcements: first dance, last dance, dessert truck arrival, toasts, etc. We had an hour at the end of the night to get the venue back in order and it never would have happened without her help and direction.

    Emily of Manette Gracie kept everything on time and running smoothly and handled questions from a thousand directions without seeming the least bit frazzled. So calm, so helpful, so together, so delightful. Everyone loved her. Best vendor decision ever!

    Emily, of Mannette Gracie is amazing. Not only is she knowledgeable, offering advice that a new bride might not think of but she asks all the right questions and makes you comfortable in confident in her wedding know how. She went above and beyond our expectations and I'm confident the day, while it would have been a happy one, would not have run as perfectly as it did without Manette Gracie.

    Mannette Gracie did everything for us. Confirmed with our vendors. Completed setup, got me champagne just before the ceremony to calm me, organized the wedding party, made sure everything was timely, had everything cleaned up and ready to be packed up so we could leave the venue on time and every single tiny detail in between - and she did it all with a smile.

    Her calming nature and pleasant attitude would make any bride and groom happy they found her. We liked her so much we left wanting to have another event just to keep in touch with her!

    Emily was an amazing coordinator. She was there from the beginning. She answered a number of questions and gave alot of ideas. She was a great person to run idea off of. At the rehersal she helped keep everyone organized and helped set up for the next day.

    The day of the wedding she was so amazing. I have no idea what I would of done without her. She helped set up and made sure everything looked nice. Then she switched room over so quickly that my guests didn't even see it. All night she was making sure everything was on point. From serving ice cream, to restocking, to clean up. She was amazing. At the end of the night she did alot of the clean up and organization. I can't begin to tell you how valuable she was. I highly recommend Emily as a wedding coordinator. She was amazing.

    WONDERFUL wedding planning company, especially for the money. Very, very responsive as well as punctual. My only complaint was that one of the planners was sick (cold or flu) on my wedding day but still showed up, which I appreciate at the time. The issue was that since she was setting up, she was touching literally everything and so many guests ended up with colds (me as well) immediately following my wedding. So upsetting. I understand that when you're busy (and you have kids) you are more likely to catch germs and be sick and there's still work to do, but the more appropriate and respectful thing to do would have been to wear gloves while setting up, wash hands frequently, or appoint the other planner to be the one touching everything and just help out elsewhere. I really urge this company to work on their professionalism in that regard. Otherwise, everything else was fantastic.

    Not as responsive as I would have liked for my Wedding Planner

    I hired Emily as my wedding planner in early 2019, to plan for my 2020 wedding. I read all the excellent reviews she has on various wedding sites, and when I spoke with her on the phone she gave some pretty solid recommendations. Her pricing packages were very fair and that was a large contributor in my decision to hire her. However when starting to work with her she was not as responsive or organized as I thought a wedding planner would be. I would send her some details for the wedding and she would ask about these details during our meetings our emails. I felt like I was repeating myself a lot. I told her a few times which vendors I was using and she would ask me again. She was also not as responsive and I would have to send follow up emails after a week or so of no response, which was frustrating. In terms of character, she is a great person and very bubbly and kind, but just not what I was looking for in organization skills. I ended up not using Emily for our small ceremony because we did could handle it ourselves. She was pretty flexible during all the COVID changes as well, which I appreciated. Our total package was $3K, but since we didn’t have the wedding event we just ate the $1.5K pre planning cost as no refunds were given for the wedding cancellation (understood due to COVID).
