Getting married in Mammoth was the best decision we ever made! With so many stunning venue options to choose from, we decided on June Mountain, and it was absolutely breathtaking. Our ceremony overlooked June and Gull Lake with the most gorgeous mountain views—it felt like a dream come true.
One of the highlights for our guests was riding the chairlift to and from the wedding, which added such a unique and magical touch to the day. The staff at June Mountain went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and the food? It was absolutely incredible—our guests couldn’t stop raving about it!
If you’re considering Mammoth for your wedding, don’t hesitate. We couldn’t recommend it enough! -

Magical Mammoth wedding!
There is not a more beautiful spot to get married in and there is not a better crew to work with! Mammoth Weddings helped us so so much throughout our entire wedding process! We planned a wedding with them in such a short time and were freaking out that it wouldn’t be enough time, Amanda and her team let us know it was absolutely not a problem, and they were right! They helped us from top to bottom, everything was so easy and non stressful, which is beyond amazing! They made our day absolutely magical and made us feel so special and loved. Every single aspect of our day was perfect and it was all thanks to them! Thank you and we love you!! -

Rain or shine
Erica was extremely professional and detail-oriented, she thought of things that otherwise would not have crossed my mind. I really appreciated how she responded to my many anxious emails quickly and with all of the information needed. Nick was also kind and helpful! The staff did an incredible job working with Brennan and I on our wedding day and ensured it was stress-free, especially with a small storm at the time of the ceremony. Our wedding was perfect thanks to the staff and I would recommend a wedding in June to anyone -

Dream Mountain Wedding
Mammoth Mountain is an incredible place to have your wedding. It is truly a unique venue/caterer for a wedding because they have so many options for the setting, size, food, drinks, etc. They have a wide range of venues based on the type of wedding you want, that accommodate any number of people ranging from an intimate wedding to a several-hundred-person wedding. The menu provided by their caterer is incredibly diverse, including different cuisines, but also different degrees of "fanciness" ranging from street food to plated fine dining. Mammoth staff is incredibly helpful, and they do the best job at reminding you of deadlines leading up to the big day, whether that be payment deadlines, or creative deadlines. They assign you a Wedding Coordinator who truly does a bulk of the work when it comes to planning and executing the wedding. Our Coordinator, Kristin, held our hand throughout the planning process, and made it incredibly easy to plan a wedding for the first time. On the day of, I did not have to worry about a thing; she coordinated everything with our vendors and kept us to our schedule all night. Mammoth Mountain is truly a unique vendor for a wedding, and I could not recommend it enough. -

Best Day Ever!
Mammoth and June have always held a special place in our hearts so for my now husband and I it was an easy decision on where we wanted to have our wedding. The entire planning process with MMSA was such a wonderful experience. We specifically worked with Amanda and Paige who were immensely helpful and supportive. They had such a quick response time to my questions and helped put me at ease when I was stressed about the weather or contacting other vendors. (Something to consider is “mountain time”. Vendors in this area may vary in their own response times, but rest assured they will get back to you. They’re giving couples the attention they also deserve.)
We also hired outside coordination as well as vendors from out of town and MMSA’s communication and collaboration with the other members of our wedding team was beyond seamless. We had our ceremony at Forest Chapel and the reception at Camp High Sierra on a day in which the fall mountain weather could not decide what it wanted to do (sun, cloudy, drizzle/rain, windy!!). I’ll never forget the kindness of the Mammoth catering staff who gave us warm drinks and ushered us into the reception area during cocktail hour to thaw by the fireplace because we spent nearly thirty minutes in the cold taking our portraits!! While they do work with so many couples, they truly make you feel valued and take the time to get to know you and your significant other to figure out how to nail all the details.
Our special day was perfect and so much more than we could have ever imagined.

Mammoth Mountain was the perfect venue for us! We chose this venue because it was beautiful and because there was mountain biking. Our wedding ceremony was on top of McCoy station and our reception in Parallax. The views were stunning and we had a blast! Our coordinator Amanda, was just amazing. She was responsive, very friendly and really made sure everything came together smoothly. There were so much to do from mountain biking (recommend doing after the wedding to make sure no one gets hurt), hiking, kayaking and enjoying the town. We definitely recommend this venue! -

Kelli & Amanda at Mammoth Mountain are amazing! We got married at the Sierra Star Golf Course and it was a gorgeous setting. There were wildflowers all around the venue in August. The day ran seamlessly and Kelli worked with all of our vendors ahead of time to make sure of that. The appetizers and food were good. Two things to consider before booking: 1. Travel is super hard for guests if they’re coming from out of town. There are limited flights to Bishop (40 mins away) and they’re expensive in the summertime. 2. While Mammoth Mountain is affordable and amazing, the other vendors in town couldn’t be worse in responding and pricing. IF you get a response for booking, prices are triple of vendors in bigger cities. All of our vendors traveled from out of town, and even with travel fees they were still cheaper than the mammoth vendors. -

The most amazing venue!
Loved loved LOVED getting married in Mammoth! It has been my dream to get married at Sierra Star since the first time we golfed there and it was everything I dreamed of. The team there was amazing and the food/drinks were great. The scenery was perfect and I couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out. Highly recommend MMSA! -

My now husband and I got married at the June Mountain Ski Lodge in June Lake (one of the many Mammoth Mountain venues). From our initial contacting of the venue through the process of booking, and then eventually having our wedding this team was amazing to work with. They were very easy to communicate with, answered all our questions in a timely manner and in general were spectacular. The day of couldn't have gone more smoothly, all due to their team. Our wedding was absolutely magical in part due to them! -

Long story short, we pulled off our dream wedding here, and the team made it easy.
As a queer couple, we held a little trepidation going into wedding planning, but everyone at Mammoth was absolutely warm, welcoming and professional.
Our coordinators Erica and Stacey, our catering manager Amanda, and all the Mammoth staff made the planning process seamless and uncomplicated. I can't understate what wonderful venders that came recommended from their preferred vendor list too (they'll get their own rave reviews.)
Even through two years of pandemic postponements, our team kept in touch and remained flexible until we were comfortable enough to finally have the wedding. (The complimentary-with-contract wedding galas were a blast in the meantime.)
When it did come time to nail down the details, we were blown away by how the team embraced our vision of a nerdy fantasy (LOTR) wedding. They are willing and equipped to pull off nearly any theme and vibe, and ours was certainly different, but it turned out absolutely perfect.

Perfect wedding Day in my favorite place!
This team was magic - among a global pandemic, wild fire closures, and early surprise snow they have us options and comfort knowing they were on our side. Our wedding day was perfect and the venue and food was amazing! All our guests were impressed. Thank you Natalie, Amanda, and Peter at mammoth! My husband and I had the most amazing experience working with Mammoth Mountain (especially Amanda & Natalie) to coordinate our wedding ceremony at Forest Chapel this past summer. Amanda and Natalie helped make our big day SO magical for us... I cannot thank them enough! It was everything we have ever dreamed of, and was so very special for our guests. As soon as I reached out to Mammoth Mountain, Amanda was extremely responsive and thorough, and made it clear right away that her job was to make sure we enjoy our day. Every detail was taken care of, and rather than our special day involving stress or being a "blur", it was a whole day of celebration and love that we will never forget a moment of. Beyond Amanda and Natalie's fantastic work, the food was genuinely delicious, and the vendors they recommended to us for our cake, photography, flowers and music were perfect and worked seamlessly with Mammoth Mountain Resorts. I am so glad we went with Mammoth Mountain- they helped us stay on budget and have the joyous celebration without stress we had hoped for and beyond. -

Not only did they help find us venders in their area (who were amazing) hey helped us with the smaller things that made our day perfect, they had a beautiful rehearsal, contacted and communicated with all of our venders, handled our music, set up, and did all the clean up. The views speak for themselves and the mammoth mountain staff made our day so perfect! Everyone from our wedding planner, Natalie Saini, to all of our local vendors (dj Rick with freshtracks, Steve Dutcher photography, and kim kittinger for flowers) who worked so closely with the staff to make sure our day went smoothly even when the weather didn’t cooperate right before our ceremony. The day went on without a hiccup and it was still perfect. Any special requests we made, they made it happen. They are very flexible and make your vision come to life. They are detailed oriented and make all your worries go away. Their communication thru email, texts, and calls were always professional and there was never a delay when I had any questions or concerns. They gave a great timeline to work off of and many different options of packages to chose from! We are so grateful! -

The team at Mammoth Mountain literally made all of my wedding dreams come true. I honestly do not think our day could have been any better, and that is absolutely down to the amazing team I was lucky enough to work with. From the very beginning, they were so detail oriented that I felt secure that nothing would go unnoticed. The personal attention and assistance we got all the way through the process left me extremely confident that the day would be the best of our lives. Amanda, Loree and Stacey were an absolute dream to work with, and put up with my many questions and texts outside of work hours, assuring me all the way that weather concerns and unplanned power outages wouldn't cause any issues on the day. Great and perfect venue- June Mountain
My husband and I got married on the top of June Mountain August 3 and it was an absolutely perfect and flawless day. The venue is gorgeous and the staff made everything so easy! I didn’t have a thing to worry about and everything was all taken care of and went off perfect! Our guests rode the chairlift up the mountain and I’ve had so many compliments from all of the guests that it was the best wedding they’ve ever gone to. I would do it all over again and highly recommend it. Also the food was amazing too! I would highly recommend Eureka Photography for pictures! -

Mammoth was the best place for us to marry since that is where we met, We could not have asked for a more perfect day! Being that we got married on top of the mountain and had the reception at Mid Mountain Parallax logistically I had worries over how our vision and day would pan out with riding gondolas and all the décor that needed to be set up. Stacey handled everything 100% and made our vision happen perfectly, the day was flawless and the weather was perfect. A week before the wedding we had something we wanted to add which was a hard accommodation but Stacey made it happen. I cant say better things about the staff and crew that pulled off our beautiful day and all the guests were raving about how great the food was. If you want to have a magical beautiful wedding choose Mammoth. Thank you for making our dreams a reality YAY Mammoth!! -

No complaints about this wedding venue! From start to finish, my contacts Natalie and Amanda were very responsive and always had the details I needed. We had our ceremony at Sierra Star and reception at McCoy station. Guests loved the scenic views from both and had fun riding the gondola up to McCoy station. The food was great and we had no problems with the bar or bartenders. Everything seems very flexible and relaxed up there so they're open to whatever you want to do to customize your wedding. The preferred vendors list was helpful, but because Mammoth is pretty remote, you only have a few options for each vendor which is something to take into account. My wedding was very budget friendly but I don't think anyone would have guessed because people were focused on the views and beautiful surroundings. My wedding turned out better than I ever would have imagined!

Diana Sent on 08/18/2018Our ceremony was April 5th 2018 on top of Mammoth Mountain . Guest enjoyed the champagne bar at the entrance of their gondola ride to the top ! Our wedding planner Natalie ( MM ) greeted guest , arranging placement that was picture perfect !!! After our ceremony we snowboarded down the mountain & arrived at our reception at the Village !!! Lights , beautiful tables , flowers , full bar awaited our guest !!! This was truly our Best Day Ever !!!!

Melissa Sent on 10/31/2017Our wedding weekend at Mammoth Mountain was literally a dream come true. We had over 200 guests and had multiple events that spanned 4 days. Welcome Barbecue at Tusks Bar, Rehearsal/Dinner/Cocktail Party at the Mill, Ceremony and Reception at McCoy Station, Cocktail Hour at the Top of The Sierra and last but not least, a farewell brunch at the Dry Creek Bar. With the amount of guests and the number of events we hosted, this would have been a logistical nightmare without Loree Peterson. She was super attentive to our every need and was always at our disposal. We were able to meet with her multiple times prior to our events and she was always able to provide suggestions, answer questions, and calm our nerves. Loree has excellent working relationships with multiple wedding vendors and assisted us with finding some amazing help to make our dreams to a reality. Our entire weekend went off without a hitch. Every ounce of the service at Mammoth Mountain was top notch.

Samantha Sent on 10/15/2017For our wedding we worked mostly with Abigail Ross for our wedding at June Mountain Ski Area. We were very impressed with working with her. She responds to emails very quickly (usually same day) and is very flexible and easy going. We had a little bit of a hard time booking our wedding since it was so popular! I was booking about a year in advance and barely got a date in their so book as soon as you can! Abigail was so easy to work with leading up to the event. She explains everything and answers every question you have. She let us set up the day before the wedding and even drove us up to June Mountain and even helped us set up a few things which wasn't part of her job. The rehearsal went well and she was very patient as some of my bridesmaids were late. The day of went very smoothly and she helped coordinate everything perfectly. I would highly recommend June Mountain Ski Area for your wedding or any of their other locations!

Esther Sent on 02/08/2016Wow! Eleven 53, the top of the Gondola is an amazing wedding venue. Loree and her staff are amazing! They are so impressive. They were professional, caring, and really responsive. The view from this venue makes for really breath-taking photos. This is a great experience, so memorable, and special. I so highly recommend this venue, and Loree and her team! I am a photographer from San Diego and came to Mammoth for the wedding of the daughter of my very dear friend, so I wanted everything to be especially wonderful, and it was! As a photographer, I am thrilled with the backdrop that this location provides for pictures, and as a friend of the bride, I am thrilled by how well the family and bridal party were treated. They certainly made my job, getting beautiful happy photos, easy! -

Had the most unique, meaningful, and unforgettable wedding in Mammoth this past April - and not just unforgettable for us, unforgettable for all our wedding guests.
We had our wedding and reception at McCoy Station. The snow was still unmelted on the rooftop so we had our ceremony on the patio - it was gorgeous and maybe even better as the glass blocked the wind. It was an awesome experience for our guests, who got to take a gondola to the middle of the mountain and it was awesome for us, who had the most beautiful snowy (but cold) backdrop for our ceremony. It was perfect for us since we first started dating on the ski slopes.
I'm crazy impressed by how the team was able to flip the McCoy cafeteria area to a wedding venue within a few hours. We did it when the ski season was still going. Everything looked gorgeous. The food was all right, but I didn't have too high expectations for food out of a ski lodge. Our cocktail hour was in Parallax, where our guests got to enjoy their new bar area and the sunset.
From a cost perspective, it was honestly really fair. A wedding (venue + catering) would have cost way more in the bay area or Tahoe, which made up for having to accommodate our guest list knowing Mammoth is not easy to get to during the snow season (Yosemite is closed and most flights to Mammoth are done by mid-April).

The Lincoln Bar at Canyon Lodge in the Mammoth Mountain Ski Area was the perfect choice for the 50 guests invited to the "Welcome Dinner" for my son's wedding. This venue is recently remodeled and has a wonderful rustic/urban feel right on the ski mountain. It needed little decor to feel warm and intimate, and this was made even better by the indoor and outdoor fireplaces. The vintage chair lifts made for fun photo ops for the wedding party and guests. The room opens to the mountain and provided an indoor/outdoor space that was enjoyed by all, especially the young children. Best of all was working with Amanda from Mammoth Mountain Resorts Catering who was always available for questions, provided great suggestions, and was present before and during the event. As most of our party was staying in the June Lake area, Amanda even made arrangements for a large bus to bring all the guests back and forth to the event. We chose the Italian buffet menu and loved the food. There was something for everyone. During the summer, the Canyon Lodge is closed off-season, so we had the entire place to ourselves and with the private bus shuttling us to the venue, we had a truly VIP experience in a beautiful part of the world. The venue was beautiful. My guests enjoyed the food, the bar, the lift, and the beautiful view. I would definitely recommend this place for family and friends. Like any destination wedding, planning can get tricky so open communication is key. -

We had an absolute amazing wedding day! The planning process wasn’t the greatest experience and that isn’t completely due to Mammoth Weddings. Mammoth is a small town and vendors were difficult to book and half the time extremely difficult to get ahold of even once booked and paid for. We absolutely do not regret our decision to get married in Mammoth and would do it again in a heartbeat, but that doesn’t go without saying there’s definitely something that Mammoth Weddings could do to make the planning process more enjoyable. Our coordinator that we had after signing our contract wasn’t the greatest person to be handling the job. Erica, was professional and somewhat quick to respond to emails. I tracked down her phone number and was only ever able to get her onto the phone when we were in Mammoth visiting and checking out the venue or once before that when I emailed her and had a phone call set up beforehand. She wasn’t as accommodating as we wish she was. There were reasonable questions we had about the wedding that when asked she just kind of shrugged off like it was no big deal and she could care less about. Ericka, actually contributed to a bit more stress than was needed for the wedding. I’m sure as the bride I had tons of questions and possibly asked the same questions more than once, but the line of work she signed up for was weddings and with that comes extremely stressed out brides that have dreamed of this day forever and just want to know you’re working to make it perfect. I’m not sure Erika was meant to work in this industry. Like I said, our day turned out beautiful and in hindsight I wish I wouldn’t have let anything stress me out because it was perfect, but Erika just gives off this vibe that she doesn’t care and she wants to get things done and over with which is the last thing you want on the biggest and most exciting day of your life. We are super thankful for all the time she spend answering emails and for her help in the wedding day, but this is our honest opinion. We mean no disrespect, we’re just being honest about our experience.
On the other hand the first person we were in touch with when asking questions and signing the contract, Amanda A. was the exact opposite. She was extremely accommodating and a pleasure to work with. She would answer the phone almost immediately, every time and if she happen to be busy or miss our call she’d get right back to us. If Amanda didn’t have an answer on something you could tell she really worked hard to get it and did it quickly and professionally. She was extremely sweet and nice to talk to and had a a great laugh.
Courtney who is the GM of The Mill was who truly made our night an absolute blast. She went above and beyond to make sure our night went perfectly. She was there to make sure we had drinks waiting for us and was always there to make sure we were having the best night. We felt like she was an old friend by the time the night was over and her and her team made the cleanup the day after such an easy process. We loved Courtney and her team at The Mill. They really made our night one to remember. They helped throw the most memorable party and we’re so grateful. We would absolutely have our wedding at Mammoth, but our biggest advice is to hire a wedding planner. Planning a wedding was stressful and could have been much more enjoyable with a planner. Get married in Mammoth, honestly, it’s the best decision we ever made for the wedding and couldn’t pick a more beautiful place to be married than Twin Lakes. A little tip: we highly recommend having your rehearsal dinner at Mammoth Rock Brasserie and then doing bowling downstairs afterward, so much fun and great food!

I would give 0 stars if I could. This venue is so hard to work with on literally everything.
They can't get details correct, and they pass you off to whoever they can at every point to avoid taking responsibility for communication, detail management, etc.
Paige and Natalie were both the most unhelpful people I have ever worked with-except maybe the florist we used. It must be a Mammoth thing. Everyone is so oxygen deprived in that mountain town that they all share one IQ point.
They also did not serve a side that we picked for our meal, and did not notify us that they did not have it.
DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH MMSA. Book the Forest Chapel with the Forest Service for $400 and have a private reception in your home town versus the $12k+ we spent with uniquely terrible customer service.
