I hired Jackie and her team from Mallia Salon to take care of hair/make up for my entire bridal party, moms, grandmom, and myself. The girls from Mallia did a fantastic job! Both hair and make up lasted all day/night long on a hot summer day! Jackie and team were super friendly and professional. They made all of us feel comfortable and beautiful for the big day! I'm so happy we chose Mallia Salon and highly recommend for anyone needing hair/make up for their big day!

I found Mallia at the Maryland Bridal Expo and booked them just a few days later for my wedding. Jackie, Ally, and Emily provided all of the hair and makeup looks for myself, bridesmaids, and flower girls (just hair)-- and traveled to the hotel, which. Everyone looked absolutely beautiful and were very happy with their hair and makeup. The makeup looked natural and held up through tears (there were no streaks in foundation or smudged mascara/eyeliner). Emily was amazing and I know my girls plan to use and/or recommend her for other upcoming weddings. Jackie did my hair and it looked exactly like my vision. I had a few trials (one at the bridal show and one other one) and I picked something completely different for the wedding day and it held all day (almost 9 hours) with only need for one bobby pin fix. My bridesmaid's hair all held up and matched their personalities, vision, and styles.

I highly, highly recommend Mallia Salon for weddings or any hair/makeup needs!

I love Mallia Salon! I was referred to them at the last minute when my hair stylist backed out three weeks before the wedding. Mallia Salon was incredibly accomodating. The quality of their service for the price is just oustanding. Jackie is a serious business woman who has put her heart and soul into her salon and Ashley, the stylist I worked with was superb! If I they weren't so far away from me they would be my permanent hair salon now! The salon itself is beautiful if your wedding is nearby it would be a delight to go there for day of services. Ashley came to my hotel for getting ready and she was so awesome. Ashley arrived early, she was very professional and so patient with my long thick curly hair getting blown out and set! I'm very particular about how I want my hair to look but not very articulate about describing it and Ashley worked with me for quite a while at a trial the week before the wedding to get this right and then was able to replicate it on my wedding day. She did my Mom's hair and my maid of honor as well and everyone was so happy with their look.

Jackie is an amazing hairstylist! I go to Jackie on a regular basis for all of my hair needs, so there was not a question in my mind that she would be doing the hair and makeup for my wedding! From the beginning to the end, working with Jackie was great. She listened to all of my ideas, looked at my sample pictures and my hair turned out better then I even could have imagined, not to mention that the salon is beautiful. I went to the salon for my hair and makeup trial, but Jackie will come to you and your bridal party on the day of your wedding. Jackie even cut my husband's hair for the wedding. Overall, I could not be more pleased with everything!! Stop looking now and choose Mallia, you will not be disappointed!!!!

Reasonably priced and awesome!

From the time I had my hair and makeup trial with Jackie, I knew I was in good hands because she was very responsive to the various Pinterest wedding hair and makeup pictures I had showed her. She found the common elements between the pictures and was able to create a look that I really loved. On the morning of my wedding, Jackie and Ashley helped keep the atmosphere light and stress free, but worked efficiently to make sure my five bridesmaids, my mom, and myself were ready on time.

Additionally, Danielle, the manager, was great to work with and helped to develop a "plan b" when unforeseen circumstances arose a few weeks before my wedding.

I would definitely recommend Mallia Salon and Spa to anyone who needs wedding hair and makeup services (or even just a regular hair stylist!)

5.31.2014- Jackie and Beth, with Mallia Salon & Spa, EXCEEDED my highest expectations for our wedding hair and make up for myself and my three bridesmaids. Jackie created the most beautiful up-do's for my bridesmaids and I. She is a highly skilled and highly trained professional with a formula for success. While Jackie did hair, Beth did make up for my girls. I have never seen them look so stunning as they did on my wedding day. In addition to being so talented at what they do, both ladies were a pure joy to be around while we got ready for the wedding and even helped with several little tasks not related to hair and make up. In addition, my photographer said that the way Jackie pinned in my veil is the best he has ever seen. The wind and people's feet and hands tugged at it all day and it didn't move. Thank you so much for being a huge part of making my wedding dreams come true! You ladies gave me the confidence I needed to feel special and beautiful for our big day!

Jackie, the salon owner, was a pleasure to work with from booking to wedding day. She was very responsive to all of my emails and got me a detailed contract quickly. I found her rates to be excellent for the value she provides. The hair trial was a lot of fun, and Jackie listened to my ideas and made her own suggestions as well. I LOVED the style she created! Jackie graciously came to my home the morning of my wedding, and she recreated the style flawlessly. The styles she created for my bridesmaids were beautiful as well, and she worked super quickly! All of us got a ton of compliments at the wedding, and we couldn't believe how convenient and stress-free Jackie made our morning. Also, Jackie emailed me after the wedding to wish me congratulations and ask for pictures. So sweet! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this talented, kind, and professional stylist. Jackie did an amazing job for our wedding! She was great to work with and I could not have been happier with my hair and makeup, as well as the hair/makeup for our bridesmaids! We had guests come up to us all night, raving about our hair! Not only were we very happy with the way we looked, but her prices are very reasonable as well.

I had a hard time finding a hair/makeup stylist, but we are SO happy we chose Jackie!

I love Jackie! She is a sweetheart, and the fastest most efficient hairdresser ever! She was just what I needed to start my big day off. She came in to our hotel room with positive energy and knocked out 10 girls, some with very long hair including myself in about 5 hours (with an assistant). I felt so happy about being "under time" and this gave us more time for pictures. Very competitive pricing also! Thanks Jackie!!

Jackie was fantastic! My wife and I couldn't have been happier with the hair and make-up services that we received on our wedding day. Jackie was terrific and very efficient. Jackie has been doing my hair for about 8 years now, and my wedding day was no different. She arrived on time, was totally equipped and prepared and made all of our hair look amazing. I went through several hair trials with several stylists before I met Jackie. I had a specific style in mind, and after having two trials with Jackie, the look that was created on my wedding day was perfect! She was very professional and very repsonsive to all my questions. On the day of, more of my relatives kept dropping by asking to have their hair done too, and Jackie fit in as many as the time frame allowed. She was very calm when some of my relatives became a little difficult and was willing to work with them until their hair was just as they wanted. She is very personable and made the day fun. Jackie was absolutely amazing! I absolutely loved working with her. She did hair for myself and 4 bridesmaids, and makeup for myself, 5 bridesmaids, and my mom, and we were finished early. All of the hair and makeup looked absolutely wonderful-- and held up the entire night even though it was a bit rainy and humid later in the evening.

In addition to the wonderful quality of service we received, Jackie was extremely friendly, flexible and fabulous! I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Jackie was absolutely wonderful, and i would highly recommend her. She did all 5 bridesmaids, mother of the bride and my hair as well for my wedding day. She was very responsive through email with any questions that i had. She came more than prepared for my wedding day and was early for the appointment. A few of my bridesmaids are very good with doing their own hair and are picky when it comes to having someone else do it. They were all pleased with their styles and Jackie even exceeded their expectations. i was amazed at how well the curls stayed in myhair because i have stick straight hair. i got so many compliments on my hair at the wedding and from people who saw the pictures! i was happy i picked her for my wedding day :)

Jackie did such a great job! She definitely got back to me quickly when I had questions and concerns which was one of my biggest priorities while planning my wedding. There were several other vendors I just immediately didn't use because of how long they took to respond. She was very reasonably priced for the quality and speediness of her work (also VERY important when I was looking around). Everyone loved their hair and our experience with Jackie was fantastic!

Jackie at Bridal Hair Design was amazing! She always responded to my emails and calls quickly, which is great for a busy bride. My trial hair appointment was great - she really took her time to understand exactly what I wanted and then took photos when she was finished to be sure to create exactly the same up-do for my wedding day. The wedding day up-do was even better than the trial, exactly what I wanted! And the best part was that she came to our hotel room, so we didn't' have to drive all over town to get ready. Instead, we stayed in our robes and drank mimosas.
:-) I highly recommend Jackie for your next formal event!

Jackie is absolutely amazing! I was so excited after my hair and make-up trial when she nailed my dream look on the first try! I showed her a few pictures and Jackie tailored the look to what would look best on me.

My make-up stayed all night and my hair was perfect, even in the heat of June! I got so many complements. Jackie also worked with my 3 bridesmaids and my mom. All my girls loved their hair (they didn't get make-up done). So many guests said they haven't seen my mom look that beautiful in years. And ladies, we all know how important it is to have a happy mom!!

Jackie was always on time and professional. I would use Bridal Hair Design again in a heartbeat!

Jackie and her assistant were amazing! They were right on time and did the hair of myself and my 4 bridesmaids. Jackie was incredible and I would definitely recommend her to any future bride. She did eight updos in just over three hours, and she was able to create a look that I LOVED with only one trial. After I told her what I was looking for, she helped me decide on a style that would stay put but still look loose around my face. Everyone commented on how great my hair looked, and all my bridesmaids had a great time picking out their looks the day of the wedding. Jackie provided hair and makeup services to myself and 7 of my bridesmaids. She was very accomodating throughout the entire process and found an additional person from her team to do hair the month before the wedding,because I wanted to adjust the time we were going to spend getting ready. Everyone looked beautiful and my guests continually commented how much they loved the hair and makeup of myself and my bridal party. I was very impressed with Jackies modern makeup style. Three of us also tried the eyelashes which looked amazing. We chose hair styles across the spectrum and they all looked wonderful. I would recommend her to anyone and have already recommended her to one of my good friends.

Jackie did my hair for my wedding in April, as well as for my four bridesmaids and my Mom. She even put little curls in my nieces hair. Everyones hair was perfect and held the entire night. She is friendly and laid back. The whole morning was relaxed and stress free. I did a trial with her at the Salon a few weeks before so we both knew what I wanted and we had pictures for her to reference. The day of she came to me so we didn't have to get up early and go the the salon. I would definitely recommend her if you are looking for someone to make our hair look perfect.

Jackie did my hair as well as all my bridesmaids onsite. She was prompt and worked throughout the whole morning to get everyones hair complete. Jackie was fantastic! She was extremely professional and absolutely amazing! She was very flexible with start times and met us at the hotel at 9am to help us start getting ready. She was very focused and finished everyone's hair and make-up with time to spare.

I had an idea of how I wanted my hair and she did exactly what I wanted for my trial and it looked great. The day of my wedding I had a change of heart and wanted to do something a little different that what we planned for in the trial. I showed her a picture and she recreated the style to a T. Jackie also did my make-up for my wedding. I personally do not wear a lot of make up and she took that into account and make me look extremely natural and I looked like myself in the pictures!

All of my bridesmaids were so happy with Jackie. It was so nice to have her come to us and be there all day while we got ready. I would recommend her services 110%!

Jackie did an amazing job with our hair and make-up. I didn't really have a picture of what I wanted but she listened to my description, executing it perfectly. She even put her own twist on it and was able to incorporate a rhinestone comb I wanted to wear. I also have very straight and thin hair. She was able to curl it and it stayed the entire day - even though it was humid from rain.

She came to our house the morning of the wedding which was such a convenience. She showed up on time (even though it was very early) and was prepared for anything. She even had books for my bridesmaids to look through so they could pick their hair styles. She was very friendly and definitely helped keep the morning stress free.

I would highly recommend Jackie to brides. Definitely a great value for her services and she makes your wedding day so stress free.

Jackie was absolutely fantastic to work with. She did my up-do (the bride), nine up-dos for my bridesmaids, and styled my mom's hair only with a little prep help in less than six hours. Jackie was willing to do any style that we could come up with, and ALL of our hair looked fantastic. She was right on time and was friendly and professional. Although I know I am partial because it was my own wedding, I don't think that I have seen as much of a variety of as well executed hairstyles at any other wedding I have been to or have been in. I think everyone was truly impressed and satisfied with her work.

I used Jackie with Bridal Hair Design for my 11/12/11 wedding. Jackie has done my hair for about 10 years now so there was no question who I would use for my wedding. In the hundreds of times she has done my hair, I have NEVER been disappointed. Jackie is a truly one of a kind talent! Jackie did several trials with me to get the exact style I wanted for my wedding day. She has the greatest and most unique ideas! Jackie is quick to respond to e-mails and very flexible. On wedding day, Jackie was on time, professional and relaxed. Not only is she super talented, but she has a great personality and charisma about her! Something that you need on your wedding day! Many of my BMs had no idea what style they wanted and Jackie was able to basically "read their minds" about what they wanted to look like. All the girls were so happy with their hair! Jackie works carefully, but quickly. She was nice enough to squeeze in a few of my girls who originally did not want to have their hair done. After seeing her work they changed their mind and Jackie was able to pull it off in a calm and professional manner. There are not enough words to describe how great Jackie is! From the start, Jackie was wonderful! I had a trial run at one of the bridal shows and knew right then I wanted Bridal Hair Design to do my hair for my wedding. When the lady who did my hair at the trial was not able to come the day of my wedding, Jackie assured me that my hair would be the way I wanted it from the trial run. I was so impressed with how responsive Jackie was to every one of my e-mails and concerns. The day of my wedding, Jackie showed up to do my hair along with two of my bridesmaids. I loved Jackie! From the start she was easy to work with. She was easy to reach and easy to make appointments. I had been to two other stylists for trial and had been very disappointed. Jackie is absolutely flawless in her talent and technique. My hair and makeup were exactly the way I wanted it. Jackie did an amazing job!!! I had the most beautiful bridal party ever! Jackie did my hair, 7 of my 10 bridesmaids and my mothers hair. Everyone wanted something different and Jackie made them all look beautiful. She came to my hotel the morning of the wedding (which was right after the hurricane I have to add). She was there on time and had everyone done early for pictures. I highly recommend using Jackie for your special day. I will definitely be using her for my next formal event ;)

Jackie was AMAZING! My hair looked absolutely beautiful. She did my hair and my 4 bridesmaids and also my Mom and Flower Girl. Everyone's hair was beautiful and stayed put all day/night! I met with Jackie several weeks before my wedding for the hair and make-up trial and she was wonderful!! On the day of the wedding she was able to complete my hair and make-up, along with my bridesmaid's and mother's hair within several hours and they all turned out amazing!! Jackie has been my hair dresser for the last 5+ years. She always does an outstanding job and is very personable. She was the first vendor I booked for my wedding after we chose our wedding date. Jackie was a pleasure to work with. She was able to add a couple of bridesmaids and both the mother of the groom and mother of the bride onto my contract after their prior arrangements fell through. I had a two day wedding (American and Hindu). Jackie was so flexible for both days. I had family decide last minute to have hair done and she was so accomodating. I had two very different hair styles for my two weddings and she did a fabulous job on both. She was quick to respond to every email I sent her and was able to work within my budget. She came to my hotel for my first ceremony and to my home (in a completely different location) the very next morning for my second ceremony.

Jackie Messman made me look so beautiful on my wedding day I could hardly believe my eyes when I looked in the mirror. My skin looked like porcelain, my eyes popped, but I also looked naturally pretty. She did not make me look overly made up. I was so nervous on my wedding day and she was very nonjudgemental and made me laugh. The make up she used not only made my skin look flawless, it was also light. I didn't feel like I had make up on. I'm an actress and the next time I have my headshots done, I will definitely hire her to do my make up. I highly recommend her.

I first met Jackie when she did hair and make up for my best friends wedding. I was so pleased with my hair that I knew I had to have her as my stylist for my wedding later that year. Jackie made the entire process so easy! We did a hair trial a few months prior to the wedding and she really listened to what I wanted. She took the style and look I was going for and made it even more beautiful than I had imagined! On the day of my wedding she came to my house early and was set up and ready to go in no time. It was amazing working with Jackie for my wedding in October. She listened to what I wanted and was more then willing to do everything she could to accomodate all of us. Jackie my entire bridal parties hair, my hair, and my Mom's hair the morning of our wedding. She also, did make up for my sister, mom and myself. My hair and makeup stayed put the entire day and night.

She traveled on site and was on time ready to go when she arrived. The suite we were all getting ready in was more then hectic the morning of the wedding. I started getting my hair done by Jackie about a year prior to my wedding. I loved what she did with my hair from the first appointment. My hair for my wedding was exactly what I wanted. She made the day so fun by coming to my fathers house so all my bridesmaids could get there hair done in a relaxing enviornment. Everyone loved there hair, and two of my bridemaids have used her for there weddings!!! Jackie did an amazing job with the hair and make-up for my wedding. I was so happy with everything she did!! She made my wedding day absolutely perfect. She was able to implement everything my bridesmaids requested for their hair styles. When I went to her for my hair trial I had an idea of what I wanted but I told Jackie to change it where she saw fit. My hair was better than I could have ever imagined. Then on the day of my wedding she was able to do the exact same style and made it even more beautiful than I had remembered from the trial. I was so happy. My hair stayed up ALL night, something no other hair stylist has ever been able to do. My make-up was also perfect. I do not have enough words to describe how talented Jackie is! I have been getting my hair done by Jackie since she was in beauty school (more than 10 years now!!). I constantly get complimented on my hair, and I always credit Jackie because she keeps it looking amazing. I even lived in Florida for two years, and scheduled my trips around getting my hair done!

When it was time for my wedding day, I didn't even consider anyone else. Jackie helped me choose a style that was perfect for my face and my dress. She even supplied some flowers for my up-do. She came to my house and did my hair and 5 bridesmaids. In addition to doing our hair (which lasted all day even at my muggy outdoor wedding), she is THE BEST colorist I have ever known. She colored my hair days before the wedding and it looked fantastic as always. I recommended her to my sister for her wedding and she was just as exceptional (picture of the girl with the white flower in her hair and tattoos on her back is my sister). I would recommend Jackie to anyone getting married or getting their hair done for any occasion. She is by far the best stylist out there!

I met Jackie at the Baltimore Bridal Show and was thrilled to be able to do a free trial with her there. I have very long, thick hair that usually does not cooperate and Jackie was able to style it so that it held curls all day and night. Jackie was amazing! I found her using Martha Stewart's website and was so pleasantly surprised. She came to the hotel and did my hair and three of my bridesmaids. It only took her two hours and everyone's hair looked amazing. She did what each individually asked for and all of our hair still looked amazing at the end of the evening. She was great at getting back to me via e-mail and arrived at the hotel early. I highly recommend her and would be happy to e-mail you photos of her work. Her prices were more than reasonable, actually a bargain considering the level of skill!

It was such a pleasure working with Jackie, she is amazing! I got her name from a friend after several bad hair trial experiences. When I first met Jackie at the initial trial run, she was very easy to work with and helped me to find the perfect bridal up-do! I stopped at the mall after the trial and got several compliments on my hair, everyone wanted to know where I had it done! We spoke several times between the trial and wedding day by phone and email, she was always prompt to respond. I found Jackie at the bridal show. I was very nervous to have someone new do my hair for such an important event and having curly hair makes it even worse. Jackie keep in touch up to the wedding day. When Jackie showed up she went right to work, she was able to get 7 of us ready in less than 4 hours. We laughed and joked all day. Jackie is amazing with both hair and makeup. Jackie made me look like a Barbie Doll ( as everyone said). Jackie will not disappoint you. On the wedding day, Jackie came to my house where all of my sisters, girlfriends and I were hanging out while Jackie did our hair and makeup. Being the bride I have never felt so beautiful. My Mom found Jackie through her website and I am so glad she did. We had other arrangements already but, I saw her photos on the site and I had to try her out. I walked into the trial not really knowing what I wanted but, I had a few photos of different hairstyles I liked. Jackie listened to what I said and gave me a combination of everything I was looking for. She also did my make-up for the big day...I have never received so many compliments on my hair and makeup. She brought her assistant over very early in the morning (6am!) and they both were so wonderful and accomodating! They worked on my 7 bridesmaids, myself and hair and makeup for my sister and mother! My Mom looked truly stunning and she deserved it after all the planning! My bridesmaids were very pleased with how their hair turned out too! One of them is even using Jackie for her wedding this July! And, I'm really excited to be getting my hair done again for that wedding!! I could not have been more pleased with my hair, and my bride's maid's hair, for my wedding. Jackie did an amazing job, and everyone looked flawless. Not only was she professional, punctual and made our hair look amazing, Jackie was also very helpful with ideas. I went into this wedding having no idea what I wanted to do with my hair. Together, Jackie and I came up with the perfect look (though, I have to admit, almost all of the credit for it goes to her). She took my random thoughts and preferences and pieced them all together in a hairstyle that was absolutely perfect for me, and my wedding. The same goes for all of my bride's maids, who all had very different hair types, and wound up with very different styles. The process of getting our hair done was also very enjoyable, comfortable and not in the least bit rushed. It felt like getting together with friends and playing dress-up.. but the results were nothing but professional. All in all, like I said, I couldn't have asked for anyone better than Jackie. All of my trial runs were gorgeous but then I would see something new that I liked in a bridal magazine and wanna try that too! Jackie Messman is the Queen of Up Do's!! My trial run was fabulous, in and out in about 45 minutes, with no bobby pins showing (It really bothers me when you can see bobby pins)!! I showed her 1 picture of the stlye I wanted and Viola! I got what I wanted! After that I knew she was my go to girl for hair. I liked her so much I even left my current hair stylist to have her do my hair all the time! On my wedding day she not only did my hair, but also my mother's and bridesmaid in record time...and we all had long hair that was past our shoulders!

Jackie did an amazing job!!! She was able to do 6 ladies hair and make-up in less then 4 hours. She was by herself and did a flawless job. I got the most compliments on 2 things--my dress and hair. People who know me, know that I don't wear make-up and they kept telling me how natural I looked and asked if I was even wearing make-up. Jackie was extremely professional and even dealt with a picky bridesmaid who didn't like her original hair style without losing her cool.

Jackie from Bridal Hair design was excellent! She came right to the hotel and did 7 updos in 3 hours, she even fit the 7 th person in. She was well prepared and kept us all on time. She was very pleasant and the hair was a big hit at the wedding; everyone complimented of how amazing everyones hair looked. One person even said that it is very rare that you love the entire bridal parties hair.....I would definitely recommend Jackie and Bridal Hair design.

I tried a few different places for updo trials and was never happy with the result until I met Jackie. She took a picture I showed her of a bride's hair I liked and made it look great on me. She traveled on site and was on time ready to go when she arrived. The suite we were all getting ready in was quite hectic the morning of the wedding but she worked well through the craziness and got everyone done in time. I would recommend Bridal Hair Design to any bride out there. Jackie did a beautiful job on everyone's hair.

Jackie did updos for me, my mom, and all six of my bridesmaids for my wedding in 05/29/11. She came highly recommended by one of my best friends. She showed up on time and finished all of our updos with plenty of time to spare. Everyone's hair looked great! My hair held up the entire day and looked perfect in all of the wedding pictures. I would highly recommend Jackie to anyone who is looking to get their hair done for a special occasion.

Jackie is truly talented, and is well known for taking care of her customers. Not only did I trust Jackie with my hair on the most important day of my life on my Wedding day , but I have been a customer of hers for cut and color for many years. I could have gone to other salons, closer to home but I found Jackie to really do what it was I wanted, what I felt comfortable with and what was right for my hair, and my style. Jackie is happy when her customer is happy. When I moved away from Baltimore, within the fist 6 months I flew from my new home in Arizona back to see Jackie. She is a true talent and a professional, When you are with Jackie.. you get something stunning, current and you feel beautiful. I recommend her to everyone from a wedding updo to a cut & color!

Jackie is amazing. She showed up right on time for an early-morning ceremony, was incredibly easy going and friendly with everyone, helped my mom with her hair last minute (even though we hadn't initially asked her to do that), and was very responsive to what I asked. I love how my hair turned out, and in fact have been asked to share pictures by a few friends that are getting married in the next few months. I wouldn't hesitate to use her again.

Nicole was a complete doll and so super sweet. She really helped make every girl feel beautiful and special, including me! I would highly recommend her and wish I could get her to do my makeup everyday!

Jackie was great. She did my hair and all my bridesmaids hair for the wedding. She also did my makeup and eye make up for my maid of honor. She was on time, very professional, fun to work with and we all looked great. All of the hairstyles held up through the night. I would definitely use her again.

Jackie did a beautiful job for my wedding. She worked with my mom, my bridesmaids, and myself. She arrived early and was professional and flexible. My trial went well and I felt that she really listened to what I wanted and helped make my vision a reality. She also followed up with me several times before the wedding, which was reassuring.
My wedding was at the end of August and I was worried about frizz and/or my hair falling flat, but I didn’t want to have a can of hairspray on my head. Jackie did a great job and my hair even looked good the next morning!

Jackie was great- she did hair for myself, 5 bridesmaids, my mother, and my niece as well as makeup for me and my mother and niece. She had everything, was professional and very relaxed and everything was done ahead of schedule so there was no stress! And she did long and short, straight and curly hair and everyone looked terrific! My makeup was exactly what I wanted- I felt comfortable and my pictures look great. Her prices are very reasonable. Overall, outstanding!

Jackie was a pleasure to work with. I did my trial with her at the salon which was the same style I went with for the wedding. The e-mails and contract info was easy and well handled. She was on time and prepared for all the girls and myself. I did wish that there was a second tier of pricing for bridesmaids that didn't have the full updo since most of my bridesmaids had their hair down, or only partly up it would have been nice for them to have a bit of a reduced cost. The value for myself was totally worth it though! I thought my make-up was great, not too much, but enough to show up in the pictures which is what I wanted. Also my hair stayed up all day and that is fantastic!

I chose Jackiefor my hair/make-up because she was the only one I could find who would come to my house on my wedding day (which was on a sunday) to do just MY hair and make-up. My bridesmaids were all doing their own. Jackie did a wonderful job. She was able to make a few changes from my trial. I never wear make-up and she did a great job at making my make-up look very natural. My hair looked gorgeous, although the long curls did not hold up very well (but it was humid and raining). Jackie also arrive to my house early and got everything done pretty quick. Overall I was very pleased!

There were a lot of things to worry about on my wedding day, but my hair was not one of them! I hired Bridal Hair Design to do my and my wedding party's hair at my wedding location, which was super convenient. All of the planning was done via E-mail and sometimes it took a little bit to hear back, but it all worked out fine. The day before the wedding, my mother-in-law had little hair crisis, but Jackie was able to squeeze her in the day of the wedding and actually even trim her hair for her! I wasn't exactly sure how I wanted my hair (I didn't get a trial because it was not included in the price and was another $75), but I brought photos of ideas to show Jackie and she did my hair even better than I had hoped! She also did all of the bridesmaids' hair rather quickly and they all looked amazing. I definitely recommend her!

Jackie has been doing my hair for the last several years in Baltimore. I was married up in Pa and Jackie drove the hour and a half to be there at 8 in the morning. She did my hair, 5 bridesmaids, my mom and my flower girl and all styles were beautiful. I received several compliments throughout the day and afterwards on my hair. I was incredibly pleased with Jackie's work!

Jackie is great - very talented and versatile. I was glad we did a practice run - it's a little pricey but well worth knowing exactly what my hair would look like on the day of the wedding, with tiara, make-up, and all!

Jackie and her colleague did a great job with our hair for my wedding! She offered us very reasonable rates and was open to and confident about our different ideas. She, along with a colleage, did around 13 (or 14) of us in about 4 hours. Everyone's hair looked good, especially the first part of the day.

One thing though is that I would recommend asking for extra pins and hairspray for your hair. Not sure if it's because my hair is thicker and heavy, but it didn't last through my reception (granted, the reception started several hours after she finished my hair). This may not have happened if I had more time with Jackie, which was my fault because I was a little late and we ran out of time.

In summary, Jackie is talented and flexible, and I definitely would recommend her to the next bride!

Jackie did my hair and makeup for both my wedding and my engagement photos and had mixed experiences. My experience with my engagement photos was great! Jackie went out of her way to open early so I could be ready in time for a 10am meeting with our photographer. My makeup looked great and my hair stayed curly through the day (I usually can't get it to hold a style).

The trial before my wedding felt rushed. It was shortly before she opened her own salon, and the appointments were scheduled closely together. We got started late after her previous appointment ran over, and I heard the next client arrive before we were done (~1 hour after my scheduled appointment, maybe 40 minutes after I actually got in the chair). I didn't like the first style as much as I hoped, so the second try was much more rushed. Not great, but it was just a trial so whatever. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a good feel for how the style would actually hold and was let down by it on my wedding day. My updo looked great at first, but it was falling down only 2-3 hours later and the face-framing wisps had gone limp. I'm glad we took photos before our ceremony -- my style started falling out before the ceremony and by the time our reception started my hair was a mess. I waited until photos came in to write this review, and they sadly confirm what I felt at the time. I've previously had updos done at other salons that have held all day, so I don't know why this was a problem.

Jackie also styled my bridesmaids' hair, and they all looked great. I think I was the only one whose style did not hold all night. She arrived to the hotel early and worked quickly. If my hair had lasted even until the dancing started (~6 hours after getting my hair done?), this would have been a 5 star review!
