  Mary for our wedding

  We hired Mary as a harpist for our small wedding ceremony in Madison. She was easy to work with, kind, and responsive to emails. We weren’t very sure of what we wanted for our processional and recessional, but she met with us and was able to give us some suggestions and had us listen to her play them. She was easy to schedule with and took payment over Venmo which was so easy for us. I am so happy with her performance and I know all of our guests enjoyed as well. Highly recommend!

  We loved having Mary as part of our wedding day! She was wonderful to work with throughout planning and was very prompt in all communications. We met with her in person before our wedding to review our song choices and she offered great suggestions and even learned a new song for us. The harp music during our ceremony elevated the tone of our whole wedding day. We would definitely recommend Mary for your event!

  Mary played solo harp at our wedding ceremony and the dinner hour of our reception, and she did an excellent job in both! She was responsive from our first contact till the end and was very easy to communicate with. She was patient with us and provided helpful guidance while we picked the music for our ceremony.   We absolutely loved having Mary and her harp at our church wedding ceremony! The harp gave an ethereal and magical vibe to our wedding and was so very special. We also loved that the harp is a less-often chosen instrument for weddings (compared to a string quartet, for example) and loved being to offer something different to our guests. We received multiple comments from people regarding how beautiful the harp music was and how unique it was. Mary couldn't have been more professional, to boot. We would choose her again for our wedding in a heart beat!

  Wonderful Addition to Our Private Ceremony

  When we were planning our wedding we knew we wanted something different for our ceremony music. I had a vision in mind and knew we needed to find the perfect vendor and make it come true. We found Mary on a google search and after reading reviews and watching videos of her performing the harp, we knew we needed to hire her immediately. Mary was very professional in her communication and answered all our questions. We knew we wanted to incorporate a personal piece to our list of music, and when we asked Mary if she could do the Game of Thrones theme song for our recessional song, she agreed to learn the piece and perform it at our ceremony without hesitation. We have recommended Mary to many other couples and friends for their special day/event.

  Mary is very talented. My husband and I are very impressed with her ability to play modern pop songs on the harp as well as Disney soundtrack songs. Our ceremony playlist included Ed Sheeran, Maroon 5, John Legend, Beatles, Pharrell, Justin Timberlake, Elton John, etc. She is very responsive, well-organized and takes outfit color preferences to compliment your wedding colors.

  Excellent, Professional and Dependable!

  We had the privilege of having Mary play the harp at my daughter's wedding. She was an absolute joy to work with in every aspect of the process. She even stepped in when my daughter forgot to give the closing music to the sound person at the church and she saved the recessional! I HIGHLY recommend her and can't say enough!!!

  Mary played for our wedding. She was so helpful and knowledgeable when it came to picking out songs to make our day perfect. On the day of, she was on time, and her playing was beautiful. I have kids and they were fascinated by her harp. She was so patient and kind to my boys. Our wedding was small without much decorations so our photographer wanted to get a couple pictures with the harp. Mary was so sweet and let us. They turned out beautiful and we are so thankful to her for staying a bit longer. Overall, Mary was outstanding!

  Amazing & Live Wedding Ceremony Music

  I had always wanted live music at my wedding ceremony, especially a harpist! I asked an acquaintance and coordinator at the church I attend if she knew a harpist, so she provided me with contact information for Mary. My husband and I were very blessed to find a local harpist to perform at our wedding ceremony in Hartland, WI. The harp is such a lovely and beautiful instrument, and the sound is amazing! It was truly a memorable and wonderful experience. Our wedding guests loved her music too! Mary was helpful in our consultation of choosing a wide selection of music to play at our ceremony. She was responsive and attentive throughout the entire process. We are so very thankful for Mary to have played at our wedding, so this is why I'm writing the review on wedding wire. It was such a unique experience, and Mary is a phenomenal harpist.

  Family Reception Prior to Wedding

  Mary's performance was excellent. She provided "heavenly" music for a first time gather of our two families the day prior to my Son's wedding. A gather of approx 100 people.

  Professional and personable with a good sense of humor. Mary plays a mix of music including pop, rock, classical. She took our requests & incorporated new songs that we asked for. We had outdoor venue and Mary made it work!

  The Perfect Personalized Performance for our Wedding Ceremony!

  Mary exceeded our expectations and our hope for wedding ceremony music. We got married at Anodyne Coffee in Milwaukee, WI and her harp sounded beautiful on the wood and brick space. We met virtually with Mary to tell her our vision for our ceremony music: folk/ Irish, Disney, and video game music. Mary had plenty of ideas for music that could work well for prelude, processional, and recessional. Prelude music included some of our favorites- Fairy Fountain from Zelda and I See the Light from Tangled. I walked down the aisle to Tale as Old as Time from Beauty and the Beast. Our recessional was Married Life from Up. I only wish I could have been able to listen to everything but I know the guests loved it!!! Thank you Mary!

  Talented beyond words! Easy to get a hold of and just a wonderful person!

  If you are contemplating having live music for your wedding ceremony or perhaps your cocktail hour, look no further than harpist, Mary Keppeler. Mary was so easy to work with. We never had to stress trying to get a hold of her. No matter how many times we reached out, Mary was right there, ready to offer suggestions or answer any questions we had. I remember when our daughter and her fiancée went to hear Mary play for the first time. She called me on her way home and said, “mom, wait until you hear her, I actually cried.” Needless to say, her music is THAT beautiful! She showed up on the wedding day and looked beautiful and was so professional. She said she would be at the venue by 230, and she was true to her word! This left her plenty of time to set-up for the 4:00 ceremony. We thought it would be lovely to have a violinist play with Mary. When we told her about our idea, she didn’t hesitate for a minute. She said she worked with violinists before and she would be more than happy to reach out to see if anyone would be available on the day of the wedding. We received so many compliments about the ceremony music and how beautiful it was. We were lucky enough to have Mary and the violinist play during the cocktail hour as well. I can’t tell you how many people raved about the music. I noticed many people sitting very close to her and the violinist, just enjoying the beauty of the music. Do yourself a favor and book Mary for your wedding. You will be so happy you did! I promise!

  Excellent Harpist

  Truly an excellent harpist! I was beyond impressed with Mary's work. Although she charges in advance for her work (not my style), I certainly did receive far more than expected. She is trustworthy and very professional, was elegantly dressed and arrived well before her appointed time and was set up beautifully at our reception venue. I received so many compliments on the rare treat of live harp music afterwards. Her music was varied, and simultaneously relaxing yet engaging - - - perfect for a wedding reception experience; I'd definitely be working with her again (after all I have three more daughters - LOL). Thanks again, Mary!

  The harp at our wedding, played by Mary, put the cherry on top of an already perfect day! I could not dream of a better music selection. Before our big day, we had the opportunity to meet with Mary (in her home or via zoom)- since we live in Florida, we went with the zoom option. She played our requested songs and went above and beyond to rearrange the songs a bit to fit exactly what we were expecting to hear. Mary is so sweet and was such a pleasure to work with. If we ever have an event in the area again, we will definitely rehire!! Thank you Mary for such an amazing ceremony!! 🤍🤍
