LaVonne was absolutely divine! She was three of the things I love: professional, prompt and precise! LaVonne applied natural, long lasting looks that felt natural to wear to myself and my bridal party. She made the environment comfortable and was conversational which helped with wedding nerves. My bridal party and I received many compliments and felt absolutely beautiful! I will recommend her to everyone I know and will definitely rebook in the future! Thank you LaVonne!

Lavonne is truly spectacular! To start off, she was perfectly professional out of the gate, with great communication skills and clarity with cost, timing, and expectations. Then on the day she went above and beyond expectations. Everyone in our party looked incredible, thoroughly enjoyed working with her, and her skilled use of top of the line products allowed everyone to look flawless all night long! (Not just bridesmaids, but mothers and grandmothers alike!) And as the bride, my expression in the mirror says it all! I wear makeup everyday, so I asked her for a little more today to make it special. Needless to say, her work took my breath away! My dream wedding came true
LaVonne exceeded my expectations for my wedding. Originally, I only had 2 bridesmaids, my mother and myself being serviced but ended up with 2 additional people wanting to get their makeup up. LaVonne was able to accommodate them at the last minute and get everyone finished ahead of schedule. She was on time, professional and personable. I have very oily skin and she was able to recommend products for me to use prior to my wedding day to help with oil control. She also made sure my makeup was set in a way that I didn’t need to reapply, blot or wipe a thing. It was truly perfection and I can’t thank her enough. On your wedding day, you do not want your makeup to be the wrong color or simply too much. I didn’t have that worry as she got it just right and I couldn’t help but admire how she made me still look like myself but yet beautiful. I would highly recommend her for any event you may have. -

Lavonne is truly a magician with makeup! She made me feel like the most beautiful version of myself on my wedding day. From the trial to the big day, she was professional, kind, and incredibly talented. She took the time to understand the look I wanted and executed it flawlessly—natural, radiant, and long-lasting (even through all the happy tears and dancing!).
Not only did she do an amazing job on my makeup, but she also made my bridesmaids and mom look stunning. Everyone felt confident and comfortable, and the photos turned out gorgeous thanks to her skill. I did not pay for an extended touch up hours but I also didn’t need it either. As the hours went on the make up lasted through tumult sweat and tears. The lasts pictures posted was after a few drinks and dancing about 7 -8 hours later.
Lavonne was punctual, calm, and such a joy to have around during the getting-ready process. I can't recommend her enough—if you're lucky enough to book her, you're in the best hands!

Amazing, Amazing, flawless makeup!
LaVonne was very professional and friendly. I had a trial with her, and she made me feel very comfortable. I had some little adjustments for the day of my wedding and she executed perfectly!! She did my mom’s makeup as well and was very patient and kind to her. She was on time. Got everything done in a timely manner. Made the start of my wedding day so easy and stress free. I looked and felt amazing on my day!!! I highly recommend booking with her ☺️ I will definitely be using her again for any future make up needs. -

LaVonne is simply amazing! I found LaVonne online while searching for someone to doll me up for my engagement shoot. She was very responsive and kind. I rarely wear makeup so I was nervous about the outcome but she made me look good! I could barely recognize myself and the engagement photos turned out great. Needless to say, I hired her again for my wedding. She made me and my entire bridal party (9 of us in total) look absolutely stunning. I also appreciated her flexibility in showing up a little earlier since we had a tight timeframe for transitioning to the venue. If you're looking for someone to make you look and feel glamorous for any event or occasion, I highly recommend Lavonne's services. I'm sure I'll be back again at some point in the future. :-) -

Amazing to say the least!
Words cannot describe the amazing experience that I had with hiring & working with Lavonne. From start to finish, I never once felt pressured or undecided. Lavonne is extremely professional, upbeat, positive, knowledgable, patient, very helpful & a true blessing to my wedding day. Excited mother
LaVonne made me more and more happy and excited and so eager to get in her chair each time I’ve seen how she beautified each woman the transformation were outstanding… Then the Bride her natural beauty was enhanced and when she played up my natural beauty I said yasss sis yess we laughed she talked explained told me what she was using and applied and did her thing… The dark circles were poof gone… I look forward to my next event so we can book her! -

Let me tell y’all 👏🏽 she did her big one. Every last bridesmaids makeup was BOMB. My makeup was the BOMB. My mom makeup was the BOMB. LaVonne did an amazing job. She was professional and made sure you were comfortable. She’s a BIG DAWG in this makeup game. We had the guys speechless on how we looked. The makeup was definitely giving. I don’t usually wear makeup but I will definitely be booking again for a just because or date out, etc. 100/10 definitely recommend ☺️ -

I’ll start by saying that I am not a makeup person at all. So when I began my search for a makeup artist for my engagement shoot/wedding, I didn’t know where to start. As I was checking out the portfolios of local makeup artists, LaVonne stood out to me because her clients weren’t all one ethnicity or skin tone, and they ALL looked incredible. I reached out and she quickly responded. Since I don’t know that much about makeup I did my best to describe the look I was going for and LaVonne somehow knew exactly what I wanted.
Fast forward to my wedding day. LaVonne showed up to our hotel on time and got started right away. Everyone was super impressed with their makeup! My matron of honor even joked about wanting to FaceTime everyone she knew so they could see her makeup. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend LaVonne. I can’t wait for the next opportunity to get my makeup professionally done! -

Celebrity Level Makeup Artistry!
I knew one of the vendors I wanted to splurge on for my wedding was a professional makeup artist. A simple Google search for makeup artists in my area turned up Lavonne. I admittedly stalked her on her Instagram and Facebook pages for months – her work is incredible!
Booking her is a decision I absolutely do not regret in the slightest! Lavonne offers celebrity level makeup artistry! And she’s self-taught! How incredible is that?! I worked for years through college and into my early 20s at cosmetic counters and I like to think of myself as pretty good when it comes to applying makeup, but Lavonne’s skills are far superior to mine!
I knew she’d make me look amazing, but I was blown away at her work. I showed her a few photos of my inspiration I had saved on Pinterest, and without hesitation she said, “I can do that. No problem!” and went right to work. She did use false lashes on me – which I have had horrible experiences with in the past, but the ones she chose and her application was amazing – full, magazine-worthy lashes that actually looked like the belonged to me! When she was done my skin was flawless, my eyes were perfection and she chose the perfect pink lip to compliment it all. Not to mention – my makeup lasted all night! She finished my application around 4:30 p.m. and our wedding went on until 12:30 a.m., with my new husband and I not getting to the hotel until around 1:30 a.m. I was so sad to remove my lashes and wash my face because it looked as fresh as when she put it on – lasting through every happy tear, every bite of food, every sip of drink and every dance on the dance floor.
Lavonne was worth every penny! Do not hesitate to book her – she will make you look like the best version of yourself!

LaVonne is so talented and her work is absolutely amazing! I hired her as my wedding makeup artist for a party of 11. She worked alone, was on time, well organized, and prepared...everyone looked stunning and no one felt rushed. She enhances your natural beauty...you look like yourself but radiant and flawless. Everyone loved their make up and I received so may compliments at the wedding, and even more from friends viewing pictures on Facebook. I booked LaVonne about a year and half in advance. I am from Baltimore and met her in Wilmington. She asked me about what I wanted and needed for my wedding day. She took notes and was able to reproduce the same look a year and a half later. I had a change in my bridal party and she was able to send me a new invoice with new pricing. On the day, she arrived early and was able to accommodate the time change in order to get everyone ready in time. I received so many compliments on my makeup especially from my husband. He liked how the makeup made me look flawless, but still looked like me. I would recommend LaVonne over and over again! -
