I found Hilda on Wedding Wire when searching for a makeup artist for our wedding. She was amazing! Not only is she incredibly talented & efficient, but she is caring and extremely kind. I was a bit of a nervous bride the day of, and Hilda literally talked me through everything. Timeline was my biggest concern and Hilda & my hair team finished early! Hilda was the first person I saw the day of our wedding and her hug felt so genuine. I had 4 bridesmaids and two moms (and myself) who had their makeup done. Every person said Hilda made them feel beautiful and nobody went and took their makeup off or changed it (as often happens at weddings). Hilda listened to their asks and concerns and delivered what made each feel comfortable. The makeup and product was high quality and lasted a night of dancing. I would highly recommend Hilda for your wedding, as I plan to see her for future spray tans and event makeup myself. -

My experience with Hilda from start to finish was amazing. She is skilled on every type of skin and makeup style. She has a great energy and she places so much emphasis on making sure you are getting exactly what you want. I am very fair and wear little to no makeup day to day so on my wedding day I wanted a touch of bridal glam but also to make sure I looked like myself- Hilda delivered. She went out of her way to make sure she had a brow pencil that I had used before and was comfortable with. My bridal makeup was gorgeous and flawless- that day, despite my best efforts, I had some red and dry skin on my face (maybe a touch of wedding stress to thank for that lol) and Hilda made sure it was covered perfectly, and stayed covered (all night!) My girls, who also leaned toward the “no makeup-makeup look” looked absolutely phenomenal and everyone was on schedule.
Most importantly to me, my mother’s makeup looked amazing. She unfortunately sustained an injury only two months before the wedding that left a scar on her face. Hilda worked with her through a makeup trial to help her feel comfortable and beautiful, and also gave her the teaching and the tools she needed to cover the scar for herself. It put her at ease and restored her confidence, and for me that is priceless and it meant so much to me, and to my mom.
I could go on and on, but bottom line- Hilda is fantastic and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Look no further- you will be in very good hands with her. -

There is truly no one I would have trusted more than Hilda to do the makeup for my wedding! From the trial to the big day her makeup was stunning and exactly what I was looking for. All of my bridesmaids loved their looks, so much so that one wanted to book her for her own upcoming wedding! I could not recommend her highly enough! -

Hands down my favorite wedding vendor! Hilda was amazing throughout the entire process from first booking her, to the two trial runs I had and finally to doing the final make up looks on the day of for me and my girls. She is the sweetest and most personable and you can tell she truly loves her job. She exceeded all expectations and was always responsive and helpful when narrowing down make up looks. She is a professional and does incredible work! If you need a make up artist for any event, I highly recommend!! -

I cannot say enough good things about Hilda! She’s extremely sweet and responsive and her work speaks for itself. She is an absolute amazing makeup artist! My bridal party, MOB and MOG all looked flawless on my wedding day. I have never seen any of them look so good, and it’s all thanks to Hilda. She also did an amazing job for my trial and my wedding look, even though both looks were completely different. Hire her, you won’t regret it! -

Amazing. Best Makeup I’ve Ever Had.
YOU NEED HILDA. I don’t even know where to start. I contacted her maybe 4 weeks before my Halloween elopement (+10 guests). She responded immediately, was available, and got me in the next weekend for a trial. She was so sweet and accommodating on such short notice (including traveling at least 2 hours from her home the day of). She was so meticulous during the trial - took her time and made sure everything was perfect. The result was stunning. I know absolutely nothing about makeup and she took care of everything. The day of she arrived plenty early to allow ample time for me, my mom, and my sister. All day everyone RAVED about the makeup!!! It was flawless. I was so sad to wash it off at the end of the night! I can’t wait until I have an event to go to in the future so I can hire Hilda to do my makeup again!!! Even since the wedding she’s been so kind - I asked for a foundation recommendation and she suggested a precise one for my skin type. I’m just gushing at this point but please give yourself the pleasure of working with Hilda! :):):) -

Couldn’t be happier!
Hilda was absolute perfection! I had two makeup trials with the package I booked and she guided me through the different types of applications and we did a combo of them for my special day. I had never felt more beautiful! I think more importantly she did such a good job with the others getting their makeup done that day who obviously haven’t had a trial. I think she took the time to listen to them and to understand their vibe and what would look and feel best. Everyone absolutely loved their makeup. I couldn’t recommend her more!! She has an infectious love for what she does and made me feel at ease and comfortable Book now! -

If you are still searching for a makeup artist for your wedding, your search stops here. I found Hilda after a hair and makeup trial with another company went wrong and it was truly a blessing. Her makeup is one word: FLAWLESS. I cannot say enough great things about her. Right after my trial with her, I knew I didn’t want anyone else to do my makeup and bridal party’s makeup. She made me feel incredible with her makeup skills. She is truly passionate about what she does and was by far one of my favorite vendors on my wedding day. Thank you Hilda!!! I had my makeup trial done with Hilda this past Friday, April 5th and I friggin LOVE it!!! Even though I have makeup on, she still made me look like myself and not like some crazy person-haha. My sisters absolutely love it and they think it’s insane how she got the foundation to match my skin perfectly and my EYES TO LOOK BIGGER!! ❤️ Everyone needs to book with her! If I could give Hilda a 6-star review, you bet I would! We bonded immediately when we first met for my makeup trial and she was even more amazing on the day of my wedding. Hilda and her daughter, Lexi (most beautiful girl on the planet, btw) fit in perfectly with our bridal party and couldn't have done a more amazing job! She knew exactly how to emphasize each of my girls' natural beauty to make them feel special without overdoing it. I wish she could do my makeup every day! :) -

Incredible work

Kayla Sent on 10/02/2018I found Hilda via Instagram and she is seriously AMAZING! I’ve had my makeup done in the past and hated it. I’m pretty picky about my makeup but she made me feel like I was a celebrity. She completely understood my vision and brought it to life! I didn’t feel like a clown, it didn’t look cakey, lasted all night and looked great in photos. Makeup talent aside, Hilda was also just a pleasure to have around on my big day. Arrived early to set up, put me at ease and made me feel beautiful. I’ll never go to another makeup artist!

She’s was personable and professional, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a makeup artist! Her makeup and lash applications lasted the entire night of dancing, and still looked fresh by the end of the night.

She listens to what you want and what look you’re going for and does just that. She’s a perfectionist and takes her time to make sure you look amazing! Also her spray tans are a must!! I will be recommending her to everyone!

Kelsey Sent on 10/09/2017OBBSESSED! I am not one to leave reviews but I HAD TO leave one for this rock star!! She did my friends entire bridal party's makeup in one day all in time for the aisle. And not only was she timely, super friendly and professional, extremely knowledgeable about makeup and how to compliment each girls features, but she AMAZED me by the way she made me feel and look. I woke up sick as a dog that morning and dreading getting my makeup done because I had a tissue to my nose thatentire morning and I know it wouldn't stay and I was scared I'd look sick all day! But NOPE. Hilda touched every spot so beautifully and carefully and I looked absolutely flawles!!. She highlighted certain areas of my face that I never knew were a special feature until she told me to look in the mirror. I looked like a movie star. And it stayed allllll day (and unfortunately into the next morning since I had too much fun and slept with all of my makeup on)! Even so- I woke up looking great! I couldn't help but watch her do every other bridesmaids makeup bc they way she got into it and really brought out everyone's best features and colors, I just was in awe. She really did amaze me!! I seriously cannot wait for another event where I can call Hilda and have her do my makeup again bc I have never felt so amazing in my life!! I told her she needs to do Hollywood makeup because she is legit. I'll never trust anyone or go to anyone ever again after having her!! Hilda you are amazing thank you again for making me feel so beautiful!

But I wanted my makeup done for our engagement pictures and she made me look and feel like a doll! And even was fianceè approved! She is great at natural makeup and I've seen her more dramatic makeup as well. Professional, beautiful, and let's me come to her house on a Sunday during the patriots game to do my makeup. Thank you Hilda!! Can't wait for my wedding day!!

I don't wear makeup a lot so I admit being nervous getting mine done but, I have never felt more beautiful. My makeup didn't move all day and I got compliments left and right! If you need a professional, detailed and personable makeup artist-- go see Hilda :)
