  AMAZING - Experienced, Kind, & Makes You Feel So Beautiful!

  Jody has been amazing to work with! She is so sweet, thoughtful, and truly wants the best for her brides. The first time I met her was for my makeup trial and it felt like I'd known her for years - we chatted the whole time! My makeup for my trial was exactly what I was looking for - classic and elegant! I felt so beautiful but still looked like myself! She made the whole experience fun and is always willing to give advice on skincare and her favorite makeup products. She was really receptive to feedback or thoughts I had (I am very picky about my eyebrows) and walked me through the whole process stopping each time she applied something to show me how it looked and to see if I liked it. Jody is very experienced and doesn't need to look at an inspiration photo for long to know what you want - she nailed mine and provided exactly what I was looking for. Jody is willing to work with your schedule (I had very limited availability for my trial since I don't live in the Twin Cities) and is very relaxed and go-with-the-flow. I cannot recommend her enough! This is the best makeup experience I've ever had!

  Jody did a wonderful job with our make-up for my sister's wedding! She was very personable, professional, and we all were ecstatic with how we looked. She came to our home and was very accommodating. We highly recommend her!

  Great experience and very affordable

  Jody was fantastic and made me feel very comfortable. My intimate ceremony was out of town so she came to my house to do my make up! It was easy and seamless. She started out light and kept checking as we went. The individual lashes she added were amazing. Make up lasted from morning all the way through the night! I would highly recommend her!

  Excellent, experienced artistry!

  Jody is a bright, personable makeup artist with decades of experience, and it shows! She was able to beautifully emulate the look I was going for and my bridesmaids, the two moms, and I all looked so pretty! I also appreciated that she gave our flower girl some sparkle, too (at no extra cost). In addition to her elegant work, she is really fun to chat with and feels like one of the girls. Her experience in the industry was helpful, as she had referred me to my hair stylists. 1000% recommended!

  I had so much fun with Jody. She was not only friendly and laid back to work with, but knew exactly how I wanted to look and how to make me look the best for my wedding day. Loved every minute working with her!! I enjoyed her so much, I had her do my make up for my professional headshots too!

  Jody was wonderful! She came to my house for a makeup trial and she also came to my wedding venue on the day of! She has a bubbly, happy personality and is easy to get along with. My makeup looked very natural yet glamorous and classic looking at the same time. I was extremely happy with her work and received many compliments on my makeup! I definitely recommend her and would love to work with her in the future!

  Jody was absolutely fantastic! She did makeup for my friend's wedding back in 2012 and did such a great job! When I was looking for makeup for my own wedding, I immediately thought of her. I was planning my wedding from LA, so it was a little tricky doing stuff out of state. Thankfully, Jody was so easy to work with over the phone, and she even connected me with an awesome hair duo. She was very flexible with scheduling a last minute trial over the holidays.
  
  Day of, I couldn't have asked for anything better! I had a big wedding party, plus some groomswomen, plus our officiant, for a total of 11 ladies. Jody did a great job keeping us on schedule and making us all look fantastic.
  
  As an added bonus, Jody is a really sweet and fun person! As someone who's a bit of a tomboy, she made primping and getting fancy so much fun! Thank you, Jody!!

  Bright personality and detailed makeup application - WIN WIN!

  I'm SO happy I decided to go with Jody at Makeup Savvy for my wedding day! She was such a bright, happy personality that just added another special touch to the day. She was so flexible to work with in finding a time to do the trial too. I really appreciated how detailed she was in her application and that she really listened to my needs/wants for the big day! Highly recommend :)

  I have never felt more beautiful

  Jody creates masterpieces as she works. Her makeup is truly artwork at it's finest, and fits every person uniquely bringing out their best qualities. I have never felt more beautiful, and I know my friends and sisters felt equally as beautiful. She won't let you step away from her sight until she knows you are completely satisfied with the results, and she is 100% reassuring along the way.

  I initially found Jody through an online search and reading reviews. I had Jody do my makeup for my engagement photos, rehearsal dinner, and wedding. She did a great job. I can't say enough great things about her. She is not only talented but also a real joy to have around. I feel like I have known her forever and she definitely added to the fun and excitement of the big day.
  
  She also did my bridesmaids and my mother. My mother doesn't wear a lot of makeup and was really worried that she would look fake. We had Jody come and do my mom's makeup for the rehearsal dinner as sort of a trial run. My mom loved it and looked incredibly beautiful but also very natural.

She had already booked another make-up service for a bridal party earlier in the day but made the effort to come directly afterwards to do all of my bridesmaids make-up - so she did two weddings in a row and still was flawless. I am a woman who typically does not wear make-up and so I was nervous about looking too made up on my wedding day. Jody came to my house two days before to experiment and to make sure I was comfortable with the style and amount - she listened to what I wanted and it turned out beautifully. She was also able to adjust the style to fit all of my bridesmaids personalities and kept the look natural and elegant. She is a mobile make-up artist with everything that you might need and she makes you feel at ease - I would recommend her services to anyone that is looking for a make-up services for their big day or important event. You will feel beautiful and confident after she has completed your individual look!

  Beautiful Bride, and everyone else, too!!

  Jody completed airbrush and makeup for my wedding party on both the groom's dinner and wedding day. She was an absolute joy to work with and was a true professional. Being a rather particular person myself, I was a little skeptical about any doing my make up. I am SO happy that I had my makeup done for these two very special days because it looks AMAZING! If you are on the fence about getting your makeup done-I would highly recommend Jody! You will not regret it!! We will be calling Jody again for our next big event!

  Jody always makes makes getting ready for an event whether it’s a gala, wedding, or engagement pics, a relaxing, fun, and memorable time! Who knew getting ready could be more fun than the event!   I was a bride from NYC and was really nervous about finding a make-up artist Minneapolis that could live up to my high expectations.
  Jody has a real passion for make-up, along with an incredible attitude towards her work. She brings professionalism to the table- that is hard to find. She loves her Chanel products, which is a touch of luxury and she really works with her clients to deliver the "look" they are looking for- this so key to having a successful business. I highly recommend Jody- she really is "make-up savvy"

  Jody was amazing! My son got married last weekend and she went the extra mile. She spent the entire day with us on Friday doing a "trial run" and provided us with many beauty tips throughout the day. On Sat (wedding day) she was willing to adhere to all of our special requests and did so without missing a beat. Everyone of us were 100% satisfied!! Our makeup still looked great more than 12 hours later. Jody is a gem, fun to be around and an expert in this art!!! Thanks for making our day even more special!
