AMAZING - Experienced, Kind, & Makes You Feel So Beautiful!
Jody has been amazing to work with! She is so sweet, thoughtful, and truly wants the best for her brides. The first time I met her was for my makeup trial and it felt like I'd known her for years - we chatted the whole time! My makeup for my trial was exactly what I was looking for - classic and elegant! I felt so beautiful but still looked like myself! She made the whole experience fun and is always willing to give advice on skincare and her favorite makeup products. She was really receptive to feedback or thoughts I had (I am very picky about my eyebrows) and walked me through the whole process stopping each time she applied something to show me how it looked and to see if I liked it. Jody is very experienced and doesn't need to look at an inspiration photo for long to know what you want - she nailed mine and provided exactly what I was looking for. Jody is willing to work with your schedule (I had very limited availability for my trial since I don't live in the Twin Cities) and is very relaxed and go-with-the-flow. I cannot recommend her enough! This is the best makeup experience I've ever had!

Jody did 12 of in a few hours us and all of us looked very natural and not over done. As mother of the groom, I wanted to look more natural and she achieved that! Everyone of us was pleased. Loved It!!!
I’ve never had my makeup professionally done, so I was a little nervous to try it for the first time for my son’s wedding. It turned out better than I had even hoped for. I felt like I had makeup on to fit the occassion but didnt feel like a clown. The process was fun and reasonable and best of all it lasted all day and all night!

I love you Jody Queen!
I couldn’t recommend Jody enough. She is fun, fabulous, and a consummate professional all the while. I had a wonderful time chatting and laughing with her, almost like my wedding makeup became an afterthought. I might have been distracted but she wasn’t— she wields the makeup brush like a magic wand.
She is so attentive to her clients on a personal level; my mom was convinced she wanted to do her own makeup for my wedding until she saw what Jody did during our trial run. Not only did she make me feel my most beautiful, but she also was full of excellent information about skincare and makeup products. I didn’t think anyone could talk me out of my allegiance to ELF foundation and I threw it in the garbage after 2 hours with her.
I’ll hope I can update these photos when I get better ones back from our photographer, but believe me— Jody made me glow ✨🌙💫 I hope I get a chance to have my makeup done by her again someday, her presence is fulfilling and she is a truly lovely woman beyond her skills as a MUA.
Also— my makeup held up through 2 am in spite of a serious amount of bawling, wind, dancing, and sweating on a 80° October day.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Jody for my wedding, and I couldn't be happier with the results! From our first trial run for my bridal shower, Jody was professional, attentive, and genuinely interested in understanding my vision for the big day. She took the time to discuss different looks and made sure to consider my skin type and personal preferences.
On the wedding day, Jody arrived punctually and brought an incredibly calming presence. Her attention to detail and artistry were evident as she worked her magic. The makeup was flawless and lasted all day and night, through the ceremony, photos, and reception. I received so many compliments from my guests, and I felt truly beautiful and confident. She even stayed to give me a touch up before I walked down the aisle which meant the world to me!
What impressed me the most was how Jody tailored the makeup to enhance my natural features without making me feel overdone. She also did an amazing job with my bridal party, ensuring each person's makeup complemented their individual style and the overall wedding theme.

Jody was AMAZING to work with. She was recommended by one of my bridesmaids from doing her wedding makeup a few years back. Jody was amazing to communicate with up until the wedding. The day of, she was so fun to work with, seamless when it came to the makeup schedule, and we were all SO happy with how the makeup turned out! I particularly loved the lashes. I wanted a natural look and she held to that. The makeup also lasted all day long with it being one of the hottest summer days! Couldn't recommend Jody enough!!!

Jody is amazing. She knows her stuff and really uses high quality products. As someone who doesn't wear a ton of makeup on a daily basis, she really did a fantastic job to create a look I was so happy and comfortable with (the no-makeup makeup bridal look. It turned out fabulous). My bridesmaids were also so happy with their makeup and even inquired about her service for future weddings! She's great at taking feedback and will really work with you to create a look and vibe you will be happy with. And she's also great at saying 'well, let's try this.....' which I really appreciated her guidance.
Also, she is such a warm person. She made my entire family and bridal party feel welcomed. She is so kind and made the day even more fun.

I was so happy to have found Jody! I knew I wanted my makeup done for the wedding but I also knew that I couldn't afford to pay for all my bridal party's makeup and my own and I didn't want to make my bridal party pay for it. Therefore, I needed someone who would be ok with just doing my makeup. Jody was so understanding of that and said that it was no problem at all. Her communication was straightforward, she made sure I had all the details I needed, and she provided helpful skincare tips during my trial to prepare for my wedding day! I’m so happy I chose Jody to do my makeup for my wedding! I don’t wear a lot of makeup normally and was nervous I would not look like myself on the day. I did a makeup trial with Jody and she completely put me at ease. She checked in constantly to ensure it was not too much, and she knew exactly what worked well with my skin tone. I just did my makeup trial with Jody. She was amazing!! Not only was she personable, informative, and detailed, she made me feel incredibly comfortable and confident in her plan for my wedding day look. Her artistry is unmatched. She chose the perfect color palettes for my face, cheek, eye, and set it very well. It achieved the natural, yet accented look I’m wanting on my wedding day.
She is easy to work with and is responsive via call and text and was flexible to change dates w me due to scheduling changes. I can’t wait to have her do my wedding makeup!

I can’t recommend Jody enough. During my trial she did everything in her power to execute my vision. She also recommended skincare products that made my skin perfect for the big day.
On the wedding day, Jody was able to knock out bridesmaids, moms and me in no time. Never felt rushed or fluster while Jody was working on the bridal party. She also was a ball of sunshine in the morning that kept the group excited and chill while waiting for their turn in the chair. Seriously quite possibly the best vendor we used!

I have never felt prettier in my own skin! Truly a wonderful wedding day for this mother of the bride. Everyone’s (7) makeup lasted all day and night. Pictures were amazing and she catered to different skin tones and eye color. And she is so kind and easy to talk with too. I wish I could have Jody do my makeup everyday. I am not from the area so when looking for a make up artist I felt nervous about trusting someone I didn’t really know. I just finished my makeup trial last weekend and can confidently say I’m SO happy I went with her!!! Jody made me feel so comfortable the moment I walked through the door! I have a large bridal party and was nervous about fitting everyone in for makeup, but Jody has expressed nothing but flexibility and low-stress toward this. She is so responsive and such a fun person to be around ♥️ I love that she does a slow build for the makeup asking every step of the way if I like something or would want it a different way. I have acne scarring that she covered up beautifully! She has so many amazing options (e.g., airbrush, lashes, etc.). I am so excited to have her for our wedding day in September! I had a bad makeup trial with a company that I had already paid for the trial. I called Jody and told her what was going on and she gave me so much relief! She came to my house for a trial and we had a great time and I felt beautiful! My husband said, “your eyebrows and eyelashes are on point honey!” 😍 I loved my makeup on my wedding day! It was enough that it showed in pictures but looked natural as well! Jody also did the bridesmaid, my mother, the grooms mother and aunt. Jody did makeup for a magazine photo shoot for me and 2 colleagues. She was very knowledgeable and confident about her approach, working quickly and keeping the shoot on time. She was fun to be around made everyone feel comfortable. She accidentally spilled some makeup on some furniture and quickly offered to take the piece to have it cleaned, on her dime. This was a huge inconvenience for her but it was clearly very important to her that she make it right. She followed through and delivered the piece to my house today. I so appreciated that!

The absolute best experience with jody!
Jody was the absolute best, she did all six of my bridesmaids makeup and my own 7:30am to 11am! They all turned out so perfect too, my ceremony wasn’t until 4pm and I had no makeup issues the entire day, no need for touch ups either!! Yes.. i did cry with the makeup on and nothing smeared at all!! Jody was so much fun in the morning, it made our whole day. Jody is Awesome!!
I've never had my makeup done professionally before so I didn't really know what to expect, and Jody *totally* blew my expectations away! She was so easy to work with, especially considering we had lots of rescheduling due to Covid-19. She traveled on-site, and even recommended a hairdresser when my original plan fell through 1 week before our reception (Hair by Shaleen - she was fantastic, too!). The entire bridal party loved their makeup and really appreciated Jody's professionalism and friendliness. Our makeup was beautiful, and Jody was a true pleasure to work with!!

Everything I was looking for!
I had Jody do my makeup for my wedding on August 29th, 2020. I was coming from Denver so I needed to find someone who would be willing to do a trial the day before the wedding. Jody did that for me and was over the top accommodating, communicative, professional and FUN! She listened to what I wanted and delivered! I would hire her again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Jody!

I looked like me, only better.
As a pushing 60 year old, I knew I needed to have my makeup done professionally or I'd regret it when I saw pictures. I'm SO glad I did. Jody listened to what I requested and then went to work like an artist on a canvas. It stayed put all day & all night. I was told over and over again that I looked great. Can't wait to see the pictures.

Loved Working With Jody!
Jody did such a great job on my wedding makeup! She listened to what I wanted and picked colors that suited my eye and skin color. She also did frequent mirror checks to make sure I was happy with it! She was very friendly and flexible with changes to the plan due to COVID. Would definitely recommend her!

Great experience and very affordable
Jody was fantastic and made me feel very comfortable. My intimate ceremony was out of town so she came to my house to do my make up! It was easy and seamless. She started out light and kept checking as we went. The individual lashes she added were amazing. Make up lasted from morning all the way through the night! I would highly recommend her!

Professional and Fun
Jody was great to work with for my July 3rd wedding. She came to my house the week before the wedding to do a trial run and I knew I found the right person. She listened to what I wanted and helped me with a natural look. The make-up held up well through our pictures in 95 degree heat. She also did the make-up for my wedding party and everyone was extremely happy. We had to move our reception back a year and I have already asked her to come back and do our make-up again for that event. July 2021 update: we finally got to hold our reception and Jody came back to do my make-up along with several family members. She was just as professional and fun to work with as the first time. My make-up looked great and lasted the evening. I would highly recommend Jody.

Talented & fun makeup artist!
Jody did my makeup for my July 12th wedding and I could not be more pleased with the result! On a daily basis, I don't wear much makeup so it was important for me to find someone who could create a beautiful look without the extreme "glamour" look. I have absolutely no regrets about booking Jody! She did airbrush (which I would highly recommend) and individual lashes for me, and she even bronzed my arms and shoulders to complement my halter-neck dress. At every step, she was careful to complement the style of my makeup to my wedding style and color scheme. The makeup looked gorgeous in person and also photographed very well.
I enjoyed chatting with Jody, who is very personable, and she made me feel so relaxed and pampered!

Wedding day makeup
Jody did my make up on my wedding day. She was very professional and skilled and made the make up part really fun! She listened to me and made great suggestions. My make up turned out beautiful and I was so happy with it. She made my day very special. Jody is also a lot of fun! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.

Jody is Amazing - Highly Recommend
Jody was my make-up artist the day of my wedding. I booked Jody because her prices were reasonable, she had the most positive ratings, and she was the quickest to reply. She also was the artist for my bridal party and mothers. She is professional, fun, and very flexible. Jody knew exactly what we wanted with little guidance. She knew what looked good for my complexion, skin tone, eye color, hair color, wedding colors, etc. Everyone in my party was extremely pleased. I can't tell you how many compliments I got on my make-up the day of my wedding.
Jody made me feel so incredibly beautiful and she will for you too! I highly, highly recommend booking her!

Bridal makeup
Jody was amazing! She did mine and my sisters makeup for our wedding and she made us look so beautiful! Jody was really easy to work with and arrived early the morning of the wedding and was totally prepared, calm and we had the most delightful experience working with her. Jody creates masterpieces as she works. Her makeup is truly artwork at it's finest, and fits every person uniquely bringing out their best qualities.
