Kathryn turned me out like 200% better than I thought was possible. From the communication w/ Meg to the actual hair + makeup process with Kathryn - the entire experience was flawless. We had a relatively low-key wedding, so at first I thought about winging it myself... my god, my hair was one of my favorite parts of the day. I have very thin hair in real life and somehow someway Kathryn made it pop. Seeing the pictures afterwards, I can't get over the fact that's my real hair - I'm shocked. I truly didn't think it was possible but it happened. For makeup I admittedly didn't give Kathryn too much direction... which I felt bad about, but she interpreted me and my face exactly right. I was down to go heavier for photos sake, and I'm so glad I trusted the process, best I ever looked! Thank you SO much Kathryn - you're a total pro.

I booked Makeup in the 702 for my wedding hair & makeup. They did a wonderful job and my hair & makeup was exactly what I asked for and wanted. I received so many compliments throughout the day! The makeup lasted all day and night and my curls never fell out after a windy outdoor ceremony and hours of dancing at my reception. Meg, the owner, was excellent at communication from the moment I reached out to inquire, until the few days before my wedding to give prep tips and confirmation information!

Amazing service, sweet artists and great results!
We eloped in Vegas in May and our flight was delayed 5 times. We were working on about 4 hours of sleep and we were nervous about having enough time to get ready. I'm so grateful for my artist Vienna as she did an amazing job on my hair and makeup! I usually fix after but I did not have to fix a thing and it stayed on all night without touch ups. Thanks for helping make our day so special!

I cannot recommend Makeup in the 702 enough! I was referred to Meg & her team through a coworker and am so happy to have gotten to work with Freedom, Kimberly, and Kathryn for my wedding. They did hair & makeup for myself and 8 bridesmaids and finished a full hour early! Meg was extremely communicative from the time of my initial reach out to the confirmation of time/place the day before. Highly recommend!!! From the great communication off the bar to the tips & tricks leading up to my special day Makeup in the 702 outdid themselves! The stylists arrived promptly with everything they needed to glam my bridal squad up. Upfront, Helpful, Communicative Hair and MakeUp Service that puts all worries and concerns at ease
I cannot rave about this company and service enough! Meg from Makeup In The 702 was extremely communicative and very helpful in answering all my questions. She was patient when responding and always answered in a timely manner. When I booked my trial hair and makeup appointment over the summer, Emely and Katie came out and did a fantastic job at using my inspo pics and making my makeup and hair look exactly how I wanted it to look. When I officially booked with Makeup In The 702, the payment process was simple and straightforward with no hidden fees. I could easily make payments using a Honeybook portal where it kept a log of how much I paid, when I paid, and what my balance was. The portal is what I used to communicate with Meg as well.
Before the wedding, I received various text messages communicating different things from how to prepare for my service, how much gratuity I should include per artist, and even received lip stick suggestions. The day before the wedding, I got a text message reminding me of who my artists were as well as what time they were arriving at the hotel I was staying at. All artists arrived on time and provided hair services to five people including myself and provided makeup services to six people including myself. Each artist took into consideration what the person in the chair wanted and listened to their vision/concerns. Each girl was EXTREMELY happy about how their hair and makeup turned out and I was really impressed with how well the makeup held throughout the night even despite the sweating and dancing.
Overall, 10 out of 10 would recommend Makeup In The 702 to any bride or bridal party and would recommend them for non-wedding hair and makeup services as well!!

The Best Hair and Makeup Vendor
I reached out and Meg responded right away and set everything up. She was so happy and friendly and the stylist was the same way. On the day of my wedding Sophia came to my hotel and did my hair just how I wanted and she did my makeup flawlessly. She even put on lashes that looked natural. My makeup stayed on all night and my hair looked and stayed amazing. My photos were perfect thanks to Makeup in the 702. I received many compliments. They had excellent communication and I highly recommend. I am not getting married again but I might have to book them for a special occasion when I go to Vegas again because I looked that great.

Felt so beautiful on my wedding day
Meg is truly a gem in the desert that is Las Vegas. I’m completely out of depth when it comes to hair and makeup but Meg reassured me every step of the way. She called me the day after I sent an initial email and she made me feel so at ease despite my general nervousness planning a wedding. She set up a group text so that I could meet my hair and makeup artist a few days before so we could be in communication the day of, which was great. Emely and Kathryn arrived promptly even though traffic must’ve been crazy. I showed each of them one inspiration picture and they immediately knew what I wanted and got to work! We had an afternoon ceremony and an evening reception and I felt so comfortable all day, I had zero desire to take any thing off! Thank you truly, from someone that doesn’t wear makeup or own a single bobby pin, for making me feel like the most beautiful version of myself.

I couldn’t explain what a god send my artist was. Kathryn was extremely professional and easy to talk to. The moment I told her what I was looking for she jumped right in and started working. Make up was complete and she moved on to my hair. If it wasn’t for Kathryn and Meg from Make up in the 702 my wedding day wouldn’t had been nearly as incredible as it was. I’m so glad when I researched make up in Vegas I found them! If you are looking for great care, quality and updates along the way with tips for your wedding day this is the make up and hair team I would 100% recommend EVERY TIME.

Michele and Noelle were an absolute blessingl! They were outgoing and really vibed with us the entire morning. They definitely made us feel very comfortable and guided us with makeup tips for how my mom and I wanted our hair and makeup done (since we don't wear makeup at all). 10/10 recommend them for any event!

My experience with Meg and Sophia from Makeup in the 702 was top notch. Their level of service, and attention to detail was impeccable. Meg communicated with me every step of the way leading up to our Vow renewal and made me feel confident that on the day of everything would be perfect. Once the day arrived Sophia showed up ahead of schedule and created the perfect look for me. She took my ideas, suggestions and made me feel like a million bucks. Blown away by how accommodating this company is. I had a tight timeline and needed to be ready in a hour. They sent two artists out to get me ready in time and did amazing work. Such an amazing experience especially flying in from Texas and knowing no one in Vegas they walked me through everything before the big day! My makeup and hair came out perfect and exactly what I was looking for on my big day. Kathryn was prompt and professional, knew how to achieve the looks I was going for especially since I have super curly hair. My makeup/hair lasted till midnight which is awesome! My husband and I decided to buy all our pictures for our wedding and I’m glad I had Makeup In The 702 in my corner so when I look back at my pictures I can say I look beautiful 🩷!

Meg and her Makeup in the 702 are exceptional. From the first communication, everything was laid out in minute detail and the information flow was super consistent. The work that Kimberly and Katie did was gorgeous and I was especially impressed with how gentle and wonderful they were with my 81-year-old mother. I had a 1950s-themed Old Vegas Glam wedding and they absolutely nailed it for me and five bridal party members. Their prices are competitive with what else is available in the area and their service and client portal are outstanding. If you want to take some stress off your bridal (or special event) plate, talk to Meg for sure. You will be glad you did.

Amazing, Easy, and Reliable Hair and Makeup
Working with Meg and the Makeup In the 702 team was such a joy! As someone planning for my special day from a different state, Meg made the entire process very easy. Her communication style is attentive and thorough without being overwhelming. I have worked with the team previously while as a bridesmaid, and I knew that Makeup In The 702 was the right company to work with.
I was initially worried about how my hair and makeup would turn out - I wanted a very traditional hairstyle, and I hadn't seen an example of it on the company's website. I also had no idea how I wanted my makeup, and amidst the planning, I had no energy to think of H&MU until the day before. However, Vienna and Michelle, my artists for two days, knew exactly what to do as soon as they saw my sample pictures. They asked questions and gave feedback so that I could get the vibe that I wanted, and they were so chill when chatting throughout the session.
Definitely recommend Makeup In The 702 for any special events where hair and makeup is needed! The team is so professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.
