I have nothing but great things to say about Tara. The process was easy, she was knowledgeable, reliable, on time, a good personality to work with, good communication, and even when it came to last minute changes she just rocked it. Super happy with how my hair and makeup turned out for my wedding look and my bridesmaids hair. I have the cutest little snippet that shows my hair and makeup so well but it doesn’t let me post anything but regular pictures. Still waiting for my photographers pictures back so this is all I have to show for now! -

A Truly Beautiful Vision
Tara did an absolutely perfect job on both my trial and wedding day hair & makeup. She worked with me in terms of what I was looking for by listening to my vision while offering professional advice regarding looks and potential items to purchase to help achieve my ideal look. She made me feel truly beautiful, a rare occurrence, on my wedding day. I requested a second artist who was also wonderful. While Tara did the makeup for the rest of the bridal party and my hair & makeup, Sienna did everyone else's hair. Based on timing, Sienna was even available and willing to curl the flower girl's hair despite not booking it previously. Everyone in my bridal party had their natural beauty enhanced through the wonderful work of this team. Based on other vendors I initially looked at, Tara provided an excellent value for a great price. She was kind, easy to communicate with, and professional without being too stuffy. We were very fortunate to have been able to book Tara for my daughter’s wedding. She outdid herself. She really listened to and executed the looks we wanted. I personally loved that she helped me feel calm, relaxed, and pampered. Being the first vendor that we encountered in the morning, she actually helped set the tone for the rest of the day to be an amazing celebration. I would definitely book Tara for any other event that comes my way. -

I’ve always done my own makeup, but I wanted to relax and enjoy the morning of my wedding without the extra stress. I was a bit nervous about finding a hair and makeup artist who could bring my bridal vision to life. But then I found Tara, and she absolutely exceeded all my expectations!
The only thing that surpasses Tara’s professionalism is her kind heart. My husband’s grandmother has Parkinson’s disease and couldn’t attend our wedding, so I wanted to include her in a special way. Tara was more than happy to help—she came to our home for my makeup trial so my husband’s grandmother could be part of the experience, and she even ended the session by doing her makeup too! From that moment, I knew I had chosen the perfect person for my special day.
The morning of my wedding couldn’t have been more perfect. My entire wedding party looked absolutely stunning thanks to Tara’s talented makeup team—Yashira, Monica, Yadira, and Krystle—and I had never felt more beautiful. By the end of the day, Tara felt like family, and I will forever cherish this incredible experience, all thanks to her. -

Tara is amazing her yesira and the rest of the ladies were the true artist for hair and makeup at my daughter's wedding they made everything go smoothly each of the girls chose how they wanted their makeup and hair and they all came out gorgeous Tara worked on my daughter and my daughter and she knew exactly what my daughter wanted and gave it to her. My daughter looked like an angel she was a gorgeous bride. I was very precise of how I wanted my hair and makeup to look and let me tell you Tara nailed it. They moved worked carefully and took their time and we were still on schedule with 12 girls three moms and the bride. They were professional courteous lovely women who just made the day that much more perfect thank Tara all the other ladies for helping my daughter's dream come true -

I had Tara and her team for my double wedding day. My husband and I had two ceremonies & I only had time for 1 look. Tara worked with me to create a gorgeous look that would work for both. My hair is pin straight and she had my curls lasting all day long.
Tara & her team were so positive and cheerful especially for a 4 am start time with a big group. She and her girls were kindly able to accommodate me, 9 bridesmaids, a flower girl, and 3 family members. I would highly recommend Tara and her team to any bride 🤍🩵 -

Amazing wedding hair & makeup experience
Tara did my hair and makeup for my wedding day, as well as my bridesmaids and mom, and she was wonderful! The trial was very helpful, and Tara adjusted to everything I asked for. She understood the look I was going for and made sure everything was perfect. She was also calm and kind throughout our hectic wedding morning. I highly recommend working with her! -

Tara and her team were great. First they were just a wonderful team, coming in early as I was running behind but that didnt stop them from getting right to work. I had my makeup and hair trial with Tara and I knew she was perfect for my wedding day! She gave me exactly what I wanted and didnt try to alter what I wanted for my wedding day, as other artists have before. She was professional, FUN, and a gem. She made me feel so beautiful and everyone in my wedding party looked and felt great. She knows exactly what she is doing. I wanted a darker smokey eye and she gave me that instead of trying to persuade me otherwise and that really meant a lot to me! She made me feel so beautiful and my girls looked amazing too! Hair and makeup!
Omg Tara and her team were amazing!! I have very thin and fine hair and Tara worked wonders to make it look thick and luscious while still making it look natural. She has this special hair fiber spray that she used to fill in my thin hairline and make it look great. Her make-up skills are really good and she does an amazing job working with different skin types. She does a good job on mature skin, greasy skin, and dry skin and her and her team are able to match skin tones really well. My mom and bridesmaids looked so good and we loved how friendly and knowledgeable Tara and her team were. We loved Tara and highly recommend!! -

The best glam team!
Tara and her team helped curate the best glam experience the morning of my wedding. Everyone came in with a positive attitude, a friendly smile, and did the most beautiful hair and makeup on me and my bridesmaids. They made a normal anxious bride feel calm, confident and beautiful for her wedding and I’ll be forever grateful for them! -

Tara is amazing! My October 2022 Wedding
Tara was AMAZING! She was so sweet and extremely professional. I was obsessed with my hair and makeup at the trial and knew it would be even better for the wedding!
Tara and her assistant were wonderful on my wedding day. They made sure we weren’t rushed and would have plenty of time to get ready before the ceremony. My bridesmaids all loved their hair and makeup and they looked absolutely gorgeous!
I couldn’t thank Tara enough! She made me feel comfortable wearing more makeup than I ever have before and ensured a natural look. I got so many complements on my hair and I adored the braids! My hair and makeup lasted hours! Thank you so much Tara I felt so confident and beautiful on my special day thanks to you ☺️ if I could give 10 stars I would!! -

Where to start! Tara is incredible in every single way. She is an absolute master of her craft. My jaw dropped after my hair and makeup trial, and I asked her "Can you really do it this well again for the wedding?" and she said, "it'll be even BETTER." And she was RIGHT! Each of my bridesmaids looked more beautiful than I could have dreamed, and Tara achieved something so important to me, which was making us each look red-carpet gorgeous while still looking like ourselves. Every makeup look was carefully curated and planned according to each person's unique coloring and facial structure.
In addition to her incredible abilities, Tara also was extremely reliable and responsive, reasonable about pricing and timing, and created an atmosphere of relaxation and humor in the bridal suite, consistently putting everyone at ease. The makeup looked great all the way until 2am - without requiring touch ups!! I truly cannot imagine any artist outperforming what Tara delivered for me on my wedding day. It's so important to feel confident, beautiful, and authentic as a bride, and I can't put a price on how effectively Tara delivered that experience for me. THANK YOU TARA!!! -

Flexible & Amazing
I can’t say enough about Tara and her team. I honestly only looked at Tara and knew it was a done deal. I was more worried about timeline and everything & she helped me create one with all my girls & everything went smoothly! I even changed up my hair the day of - differently from the trial & she still delivered amazing!
Not to mention my mother in law speaks 90% Spanish and ALL her girls could communicate perfectly with my mother in law! Could not recommend her enough!!Makeup by Tara Matos's reply:

Wonderful makeup artist!
I asked Tara to do my makeup for my engagement photos. I loved the makeup that she did! I had her come and do the makeup for my wedding for my bridesmaid, mother of the bride/groom and myself. That was the best decision. She made sure that the makeup was to what everyone wanted. The way that she put the makeup on helped it stay the whole day (wedding was outside in the heat). We looked flawless. I HIGHLY recommend Tara! She does amazing work! -

I was very hesitate at the price. But everyone told me makeup/hair/photos are the 3 things you don’t go cheap on. Tara did not disappoint!!!! Do it! She will make your inner queen come out! My makeup and hair held up the entire day/night!!!! She calmed my nerves when my family was stressing me, and assured me everything would work out! And it did! We even had last minute makeup/hair appointments and she made it work, rearranged her schedule and did amazing work! A million thank yous! Beautifully talented!
Tara was amazing for our engagement photos this past weekend. She fit me in on short notice, she was very professional, and sweet. She saw some sample photos I saved for my hair and make up and created just that! She was confident and skillful. I wish I would have found her sooner! I can’t wait to do more photo shoots with my family in the future, I will definitely be using her again. I highly recommend her for any and all bridal events. -

I don't wear daily makeup regularly. In fact, I'm not a fan of concealer or foundation at all. I have fair skin yet rarely use bronzer or blush. So when it came to my wedding day, I really didn't plan on any face makeup. And I didn't even do a trial with Tara! But she is amazing! She has an eye for color & expert technique with airbrush that left my skin looking camera-ready flawless and I didnt feel the lightweight makeup at all! She's a genius! I normally wear a bold smoky eye which Tara toned down with neutrals for a perfect bridal look! She took my style and added a little polish & experienced skill to create a look that got me endless compliments! She got me to try some things outside my comfort zone (eyelashes, airbrush face makeup) and they worked oerfectly - even in 90+ summer temps! My face didn't even need a touch up all day, but she was there just in case! I can't thank her enough for making me feel like a beautiful 'Me' instead of a face full of makeup.
