  Basically a magician

  This review is loooong overdue but it's more than well deserved. I had my make up done by Janelle almost a year ago for my June wedding in the Sequoias. I was so nervous to book make-up because I normally don't wear any make up and struggle with the feeling of it on. But Janelle really understood what I wanted, and over delivered because my make up lasted basically the whole weekend! The best part for me was that I felt so comfortable with her, I loved doing the trial the day before my wedding because I got to wear it for my welcome party and also got to connect with her before my wedding day. She is such a sweet and fun person with the best energy and that is so huge for someone who is the biggest part of the start of a wedding day (especially when it starts at 3:30 am!). I started my wedding day with a sunrise hike which meant she needed to start really early and my make up needed to last until at least through my ceremony and reception which ended around 10 pm...well it lasted well through my after party around 3 am AND I'm embarrassed to say but I was not functional the next morning and still showed up looking absolutely fresh and flawless . My wedding day consisted of a sunrise morning hike, afternoon nap, ceremony, campground activities, sunset canoe ride, reception AND an after-party with pinatas and my make up looked like she had been behind me all day. The morning after we had a wedding brunch and my makeup still looked great! Even when I took my make up off, I could tell what she had used was good quality make up and prep because my skin did not freak out in the slightest (which tends to happen with me after heavy make up) I couldn't believe it after the packed day I had prior and sleeping with it on twice! I'll forever be thankful for the literal magic that Janelle was able to execute on my wedding day, not just with incredibly fresh and long lasting make up but also with easing my anxiety and making me feel truly special and beautiful. There is no other answer. Just book Janelle!!!

  What can I say she is awesome

  What can I say about Janelle she did nothing but the best to make me feel special!! She knew that I was stressed out in the morning and gave me a nice facial message with her towel lol no joke!!! But the makeup stayed all night and there was not need to do a make-up touch up!!! The money was well worth spent

  Absolutely Amazing Work!

  She truly is a joy to work with and makes the environment around her positive! Janelle has great skills and made me feel and look amazing for my wedding day! She is amazing!

  Janelle is the best!

  When my hair and makeup artist cancelled on me a month before my wedding, Janelle moved mountains to rearrange her schedule and accommodate my wedding party. As an out of town bride, I very much appreciated her understanding and her reliability. On the big day, she was punctual, extremely professional, and clearly knew a TON about all of the products she was using. Everything that went on my face was researched, sanitized and long lasting. I had my makeup on for 15 hrs that day, and I still had to wash my face four times to remove it at the end of the night - she can really make that stuff stick! The products were comfortable and natural feeling (nothing heavy or over-applied), and the final results were beautiful. My mom, who has never worn makeup and is basically allergic to anything on her face, commented on how much she liked Janelle's work. I highly recommend Janelle!

  I can not say enough good things about Janelle. I was nervous about not being able to have a trial done or even being able to meet her before my big day due to my travel schedule. However Janelle SLAYED my makeup and was able to pull together exactly the look I wanted. She is so friendly and I immediately felt like I was hanging out with an old friend. The products she used were top quality and my makeup looked flawless all day & night, even after hiking around in Sequoia! I was on the fence of having my makeup done vs. doing it myself but this was worth every penny! My makeup looks amazing in my photos and i'm so glad I was able to work with Janelle.
