Diana is so wonderful I’m almost sad that she doesn’t get to do my makeup anymore. She really does listen to your concerns and comfort level, while also making your vision come to life. She has an almost superhuman eye for color as well, so if you are a POC, please give her a shot! She is also incredibly hygienic, which may mean she takes a little longer than your usual MUA, but it’s absolutely worth it. All of my bridesmaids were incredibly impressed, and we all looked gorgeous on my wedding day! Thank you Diana for everything!

Magical Makeup Artist
I researched for about 2 weeks to find a makeup artist for my wedding. When I stumbled upon Diana’s website it really spoke to me. The strength she had to start her own business and just crush it. I looked at her instagram for photos also. Which everything I saw I loved. So in reached out to her at 12am or so because when you’re planning wedding/events who sleeps. She reached out to me immediately and asked questions. Her contact is very easy to understand. Plus her excitement for being part of people’s special days is really just a rare thing. We were able to knock out the bridal trail a few weeks after booking.
I had a bridesmaid not able to attend. Which I found out right before the event. I asked Diana day off if I could put someone else in her place and she agreed since it wasn’t an extra person. She’s detail oriented the way you need your makeup to be. All the girls gave her complements and we all want to know how to do our makeup just as perfect as Diana made ours that day. Without Diana and her talent my wedding wouldn’t have been the same. I’m forever grateful to her!

I was able to schedule a trial with Diana on short notice after a last minute cancelation from a different artist. And I can honestly say I'm glad it worked out that way. First of all, Diana is so friendly and really listens to what you want. I didn't want to do heavy, cakey makeup and she gave me exactly what I was looking for! Her customer service is spectacular. Her make-up skills are fantastic! I received so many compliments about not only how good my eye make-up looked, but also how well my make-up in general still looked hours after it was done and time spent on the dance floor. I really can't recommend Diana enough!

I had my trial with Diana a couple of months ago then had her do my wedding day makeup as well as three of my bridesmaids. Everyone including myself was so comfortable with her as Diana makes communicating easy and fun. We all loved our makeup and it lasted the entire day!! The Most Culturally Friendly MUA
Diana did my wedding makeup, and she did a phenomenal job! I absolutely loved her work. I flew in from Seattle and had the reception the next day in Gilbert, AZ. She was understanding enough to come early on the day of reception since we did not have time for a trial. She took care of my wants in terms of style and did not force her opinion on me. After looking at inspo pics of what I do like and what I do not like, she came up with the best look and even advised me to tell her if I did not like where the look was going. Diana even went the extra way to recommend me a hair stylist familiar with my Pakistani dupatta setting needs as I am new to the AZ area. Overall, Diana and the hair stylist made me look stunning for my wedding day and the look was natural like I wanted. She was professional and kind. Anyone that hires her is in good hands.

I'm not a big makeup person besides the minimal. Diana took my soft makeup style and turned it into something absolutely gorgeous. She asked a lot of questions about my style and what I wanted. If I could give 10 stars I would! Diana not only listens to my wants she goes above and beyond. On my wedding day she took her time to make sure every detail of my make up was perfect. When I say above and beyond I am not kidding, she then took pictures while at hotel of bridal party getting ready; helped me with my dress; followed us to venue for touch ups; and assisted with making sure I stayed perfect for the entire day! Not only is Diana an artist with makeup, but she is an absolute delight to be around! (Which if you need to sit with anyone for a long day of makeup & wedding stress - this is important)
She was professional, punctual, and awesome. She set up a very concise morning-of schedule for me and my ladies well in advance. I also let her know I needed a hair person, and she recommended the best hair stylists too.
In 2019 (?) I had a trial with her for my wedding in 2020 (covid postponed) - she was already so into cleanliness of her brushes & makeup, and she continues to be even more careful in 2021.
We had he for only half a day, but every lady in our house (7+) had questions about makeup, and she cheerfully answered all of them. She may have been some peoples’ favorite guest. Haha. So many people told us we all looked beautiful, and who did our makeup!?

Diana was fantastic to work with. She did an amazing job on my makeup as well as my bridal party and both moms. She was very respectful of my request to have a natural look and didn’t cake on makeup. She is also a wonderful person and was very enjoyable to have there on the day of my wedding. She has really great energy that lights up the room! I will also add that she was very reasonably priced and flexible with my party. We had a girl who was pregnant and due around the wedding date and she let us wait till the day before to determine if she was going to be at the wedding and get her makeup done. Diana is very professional, personable and knowledgeable makeup artist. I don't usually wear any makeup, so I was nervous about about having the whole face done, but Diana listened and made me very comfortable. First, Diana gave me not one but two trials when I could not make my mind up about lipstick color! On the day of the wedding Diana was a ray of sunshine bringing energy into the house. She did makeup for most of my bridesmaids, my mom and mother in law. She was on time and asked each girl what her makeup routine was and what expectations were to make sure they were comfortable in their results. I could not be more grateful to have had Diana doing my makeup! I had airbrush makeup and it lasted all day (until the cake cutting and subsequent smashing in my face!!). It stayed on through tears and eating dinner.

Diana was such a joy to work with that I am trying to find excuses to have my makeup done again just so I can hang out with her! She did a wonderful job on myself and my bridesmaids - we looked beautiful all night long. Diana was also super flexible and worked with my hairdresser to ensure I was done on time.

I was so nervous about getting my make up done for my wedding, but Diana was a dream! I found her on Instagram and was so excited that she was able to quickly book for a trial on my make up. She listened to the colors I wanted and made my dream come true. I happy cried 90% of my wedding day and my make up was still in place! Mother of the bride hates wearing make up, but felt gorgeous as well. Thank you, Diana. I’d definitely have her be a part of future special occasions!

Diana was absolutely amazing! She responded right away to all of my emails (even multiple a day), was incredibly professional, and just simply a pleasure to work with. I have always found getting makeup done by someone I don't know to be a little nerve wrecking, but she was honestly so friendly I did not feel uncomfortable at all! Additionally, she was willing to come to me for a trial, which made my day so much easier (this doesn't sound like a lot, but when you are running around and across town every weekend to meet with vendors, it was such a relief to get to stay home and have her come to me). Lastly, she worked quickly, adapted to changes, stayed on schedule, and maintained high quality work! I would highly recommend Diana!!! :)

The best for your big day!
She is the best! She did my make up and my mom. To begin she was always communicating with me. She came earlier than usual just to make sure we were done on time. When we did the trial she helped me to select my makeup for my big day. Diana is a proffesional! Mom and I were so happy and satisfied we will definetly hire her again!

I was referred to Diana for makeup by my new hair stylist for my wedding after I had a not so great hair and makeup trial with a different vendor. Working with Diana was an absolute pleasure! She came to me for the trial, asked me a bunch of questions about what I normally wear for makeup and what look I was going for. She was very patient and thorough and just wanted to make sure that I loved my makeup! Working with her I felt so confident that my makeup would look flawless on my wedding day- AND IT DID! On my wedding day, it looked EVEN BETTER than the trial and I felt so beautiful. Diana also did makeup for my bridesmaids, flowergirls, and mother of the groom. She worked so well with all the age ranges (age 4-72), skin types, and personalities! I would recommend Diana in a heartbeat and I would certainly not ever hesitate to book her again if I need my makeup done!

She didn't try to push me into a generic look, she really worked with me to find something that made me feel comfortable and like myself. If you are looking for a talented and passionate makeup artist, who is also very very reliable, Diana is your girl!! There where 3 important things I noticed about her when we met for the first time. She is very kind, always responds quickly and she is in love with her job! Professionalism, hygiene and honesty are also very important to her.
As a wedding photographer I know how much it means for brides to look their best on the big day. Every time we have worked together, Diana made sure that her clients are not only happy with the look, but that they are enjoying the pampering time.
Both of use came from different countries (I’m Hungarian, she is Romanian) so we have so much in common. We are both passionate about meeting couples from other cultures and supporting them. I will recommend Diana to anybody!

Diana was absolutely lovely to work with. A friend of ours used her for their wedding in the spring. From the first interaction with Diana, she was so sweet, responsive, and timely. I was pleasantly surprised when she said she'd come to my home to do the trial. I loved my trial makeup, and I knew Diana was a supportive person to have around on my wedding day. We communicated regularly between my trial and the wedding day, and she quickly responded to any questions I had and was flexible with some changes I needed to make with the bridal party. On our wedding day, all of the girls' makeup looked amazing and I have never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day because of Diana. Additionally, Diana came with us to the venue, and did some touchups for me prior to our first look and ceremony. After our wedding, I was surprised to see an email with some photos that Diana had captured during the day while we were getting ready and waiting for the ceremony to start. My mom had reached out to me feeling kind of sad that we did not get a picture together in our dresses before the ceremony, and as I looked through the pictures Diana had sent me, she had a couple of photos of me and my mom. This brought tears to my eyes and I'll forever be grateful for these moments she captured. I can't even express how lucky I was to have Diana there on my wedding day, and I am already trying to think of other reasons to have my makeup done so I can see Diana and have her do my makeup again!

I had my trial with Diana. She came to my home with a full set up including her own makeup chair! She's WONDERFUL. She made me look amazing. As I am an older bride, my worries were the undereye area and cakey makeup. She made me look fresh, well rested, and the makeup lasted ALL DAY. We had a dance lesson and I sweated but the makeup stayed put. I was thrilled and hired her on the spot for my wedding day. She is great with correspondence and is just a lovely person in general. I know I'll look beautiful on my wedding day because of Diana. :)
FOLLOW UP: Diana was fabulous on my wedding day! She did my makeup and 3 of my bridesmaids. They all looked amazing, and I felt like a princess. My makeup lasted from 11am through 11pm when I finally took it off before bed. Diana is wonderful to work with. I met her through her day job at a major retail department store and have worked with her for three years now. She did makeup for me, my mother, my sister-in-law, and my cousin for my wedding. She also does all my makeup for important photos because she can make me look so much better than I can. She takes the time to get to know you and understand you and what you're looking for rather than trying to push you into a trend or what she thinks is best. She'll answer very honestly if you ask questions and help guide you to good options if you're looking to venture out and try something new. I sent many friends and family members to her for help as well. It takes me a long time to find a makeup artist I like and I'm so happy to have found Diana. I will go back to the store (or just text her to see what her schedule is that day) to buy from her rather than someone else because she has taken the time to get to know me and understand what works for me. She is incredibly talented. Diana uses quality products and she takes her time to make sure that everything looks perfect!
Long story short--originally I had booked my hair and makeup trial appointments at the Venue I had chosen to be married months and months in advance.. I went for my make-up trial and I was so disappointed with that vendor. With only one week before my wedding without an alternative plan I went to purchase quality make-up in hopes I could attempt to do it myself.
LUCKILY, that day I met Diana. She is simply so genuine. She and I began to talk and I let her in on my makeup trial woes and was asking her what she thought I should buy. (because her make up application was so beautiful!) She was so sweet and created a list for me and started dabbling color choices to match my skin, she then offered to do a free trial for me right then and there! ( Let's just say at the last place, my trial costed me an arm and a leg!)
I was a little nervous to open my eyes and see the results because of my previous experience, but when I did...I was in complete AWE! Diana is SO talented, she is an artist! I only plan to see her in my future for all of my makeup needs! I highly recommend her! It was so comforting on my wedding day to know when I was finished getting ready to meet my groom that I would know that I looked my best!

She was so good about matching the look I was going for (even though at the beginning, I had no idea what that look was). Her intuition about my thoughts, feelings, and expectations helped narrow down exactly what I wanted and she deftly provided!
In addition to her skills, Diana was a sweet addition to my special day just by her calm and helpful demeanor. Her gentle touch and honest happiness for me was lovely to be around. I am looking for reasons to hire her again!

Diana provided me with my makeup for my wedding day. I can't say enough wonderful things about Diana and the amazing job she did! We met to do a 'trial' for my makeup, and it was very clear that Diana was an expert with makeup. She listened to exactly what I wanted and made my vision come true.
On my wedding day, Diana came prepared, on time, and ready with everything that we discussed at the trial. Not only did she do an amazing job on makeup for my bridesmaids, she also spent extra time making sure that me, (the bride), was ready and happy with the results. I also want to note that Diana stayed longer to help with me getting ready - she is amazing!!
I highly recommend Diana for her makeup services. She is wonderful and a pleasure to work with!!!

Diana was amazing! She was very professional and accommodating in every way. She was very prompt in arriving and did a wonderful presentation. Not only did she do my makeup (bride) but she also did my Mother’s makeup as well. She also went an extra step to make my flower girl feel special too! Diana provided suggestions and guidance on what colors and shades would wear best on my skin tone and in the photographers light. I was so pleased to have not needed to reapply much makeup during my busy day as she selected great long-wearing makeup. Her thoughtfulness and professionalism was noticed by many in the dressing room and throughout the day. I was so very pleased with the value and experience.

I cannot say enough how happy I was with Diana doing my wedding makeup. I just received my photos back and people are telling me I looked breathtaking! My makeup looked fresh and not caked on and felt great all day. It even lasted until the next day! She came to my house for the trial which was awesome and she came to the hotel day of the wedding which was a huge plus!

I have always admired Diana Anghelus's creative work, but meeting her in person and working together feels like a blessing from above. She is so caring, so thoughtful besides her impressive skills as a Makeup Artist; she came to me and asked what else she can do to help without any hesitation to take stuff away as we all worked on very tight scheduled dealing with unforeseeable situations such as fitting the dress for our beautiful Models without previous trying-outs. ALL Models looked AMAZING, the hair, the makeup, the dresses on their bodies and little things and we have done in very limited time too. I live in Orange County, California and I was planning my cousin's wedding taken place at Chandler, Arizona so the struggle of finding the right vendor was already in place. I have come across Diana through Instagram and I have contacted her last min which was the week of the wedding and she replied right away and had accommodated our schedule immediately. She responded to my emails quickly and able to give me details of the services she has. Not only she came to my hotel room on time, she was also so much fun to work with. She asked us our preference in make up and how we usually do our make up and she delivered on her precise techniques on applying make up. We had so much fun chatting and just had fun during the whole process. Love her !
