Wedding Makeup

Liz did the makeup for my wedding and did a wonderful job! She also did the makeup for my mom and maid of honor. We all loved the delicate eyelashes she used. The airbrush makeup was perfect to last the whole day (but without looking too heavy).

Liz did makeup for myself and wedding party and I was so impressed by her work, her professionalism, quick response time and overall calm energy on my wedding day. I was looking for someone that was able to accentuate my natural look but not feel overdone and Liz really delivered on that. She was extremely quick to respond to all of my messages, came on time, and was flexible with the schedule on the day of which I really appreciate. Incredible, relaxed, and professional!

I am not someone who normally wears makeup and I wanted my makeup to feel natural but also special on my wedding day. Liz was able to accomplish this effortlessly both at the preview and on the wedding day itself. Liz was able to help guide me, make suggestions, and create a beautiful look that still felt like myself. Not only was she able to do this for me, so many of my bride's people and my mother in law also shared that they felt special, beautiful, and themselves from the makeup look Liz created for them. Liz is an artist who listens to individual's style, see's an individual's beauty, and creates a really relaxed atmosphere! I am so glad that I chose Liz to be my make up artist and would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking!

Liz is the best!

Liz is the best for makeup! I very rarely wear makeup and was worried about looking too “done up”. Liz made me feel naturally beautiful and even gently convinced me to do some fake eyelashes, too (which are very satisfying to take off, by the way!!!) Liz did my makeup for our engagement photos (the stickiest day on Earth and you couldn’t even tell!) and our wedding and it looked flawless both times.

Liz’s calm demeanor also put me (and my family) at ease. She brought the “getting ready” room from chaotic to zen. I am thinking that I may need my makeup done professionally every once in a while just to feel as sparkly as I did after a makeup session with Liz!

Incredible!!

I recently worked with Liz for my September wedding in the Berkshires. After my trial, I knew she'd be amazing! I do not wear much makeup, and the look she did on me was SO natural but just the perfect amount -- all my friends were complimenting it!! Her looks on my sister and mom were also wonderful, bringing out their natural beauty. She also listened so well to any feedback I had on the trial. Great personality as well!! AMAZING! Her professionalism, talent for stunning makeup, and outgoing personality makes her the perfect fit for anyone’s makeup!

I cannot express enough how amazing Liz was! She was the true hero of the day on my wedding day. My original makeup artist booked my wedding for the wrong day and was unable to do mine or my bridal party’s makeup. My mom found Liz online, called her at 7am (on what happened to be her only Saturday off this summer) and within minutes, Liz called my mom back and was at our hotel within the hour. She was able to do not only mine and my bridal party’s makeup, but also my family members as well (who my original artist would not have had the time to do). She was not only outgoing and personable, but truly my ray of light in what was a horrible start to my wedding day! She fit right in with the chaos of my family and went with the flow. I can’t thank her enough for jumping in on her one weekend off for the summer and saving the day! Between her professionalism, BEAUTIFUL makeup, and ability to go with the flow in the midst of pure chaos, I cannot recommend and praise Liz enough!

Gorgeous bridal makeup!

My experience with Liz was terrific all around. To begin with, I was looking for makeup for myself only, and really appreciate that she doesn't require a minimum number of people as so many makeup artists (understandably) do. Because of where I live I wasn't able to have a trial before hand, but Liz seamlessly worked from a few photos I showed her and created makeup for me that absolutely aligned with what I'd hoped for -- I felt like myself. On the day, she was a calm presence and lovely to chat with -- a real bonus ahead of lots of activity! Can't recommend her enough.

Liz is amazing!

Liz did makeup for my wedding and she was amazing to work with. From the first outreach, Liz was responsive, excited, and professional. I had so much fun at my makeup trial and Liz was really receptive to my vision and feedback.

On the morning of the wedding, we threw Liz a real challenge by asking her to do makeup for me, my six bridesmaids, and my mother (8 faces in total). She crushed it and made us all look so beautiful. I don’t wear a lot of makeup and Liz managed to make me look like I wasn’t wearing much makeup — she enhanced my natural features so I felt beautiful while still making me feel like myself. I was so blown away by how beautiful my bridesmaids and mom looked, too - she captured each of our vibes while still maintaining cohesion. I was especially impressed with Liz’s professionalism and efficiency! Did I mention that she did 8 faces in less than 5 hours?! Wild.

Oh and I am a crier, and Liz’s makeup stayed in place not only for the first look and ceremony (I was weeping), but also throughout hours of sweaty dancing. Teary brides take note! She is the real deal.

The bottom line is this: Liz is amazing!! You will not regret booking with her!

Definitely book Liz!

I heard from a friend in the industry that Liz was the best and I could not agree more! Working with Liz for my wedding was so easy and I've truly never felt more beautiful and like myself.

On the morning of our wedding, Liz arrived early to the venue to ensure our prep would be smooth and ahead of schedule. All of my bridesmaids and family looked so naturally gorgeous with the airbrush make up; plus it stayed all day and night, through sweat, tears and drinking! I was so pleased with how I looked and was so thankful to have Liz be a nice calming presence during the morning of my wedding. I could not recommend her more highly!

Fantastic!

Liz had such calm energy on the wedding day and everyone looked amazing. Her expertise in matching skin tones and highlighting the best in everyone was clearly seen. I was able to do a trial the day of my engagement photos and I felt so beautiful. I only touched up my lipstick once the day of the wedding and everything else was perfectly set the whole night. Highly recommend Liz for your big day or really any event. Everything held up through all the tears and eating.

Made me feel stunning!

Liz was amazing to work with and she made me feel so gorgeous. I had two trials with her and she was immediately responsive to my feedback. She was patient, gentle, sweet, and put me at ease immediately with her calm energy. Liz worked with each one of my bridesmaids and adapted to the looks they were envisioning. She even gave me some lip color to add throughout the night. I genuinely enjoyed interacting with her. I often can be critical of how I look and I struggle with letting others be in control of how I look. But Liz made me feel really beautiful and calmed my nerves. Thank you for everything!

Relaxed, Professional, Skilled MUA!

Liz was the perfect person for our wedding makeup looks! She's incredibly versatile in her skills, but I appreciated that she leans in to a natural look. She is exceptionally responsive and professional, helped coordinate a makeup trial for my mother and I from her home studio, and worked with me while the numbers of faces on "the day" evolved over time!

The day-of application was incredibly relaxing, and the makeup looked amazing and stayed put all night while we danced our butts off!

Liz is amazing!

Liz is the best of the best when it comes to makeup and did mine so beautifully on my wedding day. I had such a lovely experience working with her from start to finish, and she was so kind, responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. Not to mention she absolutely nailed the makeup look I wanted! One of my biggest concerns about my wedding "look" was appearing too made up and not like myself, but Liz managed to make me feel special and extra beautiful while still feeling natural. I felt amazing all day. My bridal party loved their makeup as well; we couldn't stop looking at ourselves in the mirror. :) If you're looking for a makeup artist who will make you feel like the best version of yourself, Liz is the one!

Highly Recommend

I highly recommend Liz Washer. She did my makeup as well as 7 of my friends/family for my wedding. Many of them don't typically wear much makeup and were hesitant. She did a great job of listening to what each person wanted and making them look and feel beautiful. She did a range of styles from minimal to bold and it all looked fantastic. I was very happy with my makeup. I don't like when makeup is overdone and looks caked on and that definitely was not the case with Liz. She's very professional and talented and I loved my wedding makeup.

Prettiest I've Felt

Liz did an amazing job with my makeup on my wedding day. I was a COVID bride, so we didn't get to do a trial, but Liz was responsive leading up to the wedding and assured me that I would love the way I looked - and she was right! I didn't have any reason to be nervous.

I love makeup - I love watching videos and trying out things and learning new techniques, so makeup was a huge priority on my day. I didn't want to look overdone, and I wanted to make sure that when I look at my wedding photos years from now I didn't look crazy. Liz made me look like the best version of myself. My husband thought it was beautiful, and so did I. And it lasted throughout the entire night!

She also did my 60+ year old mother's makeup and made her look great, as well as some spot treatment/deshine on my husband (definitely worth it for the photos and video, he gets shiny!)

Not only did I love how it came out, but I felt safe the whole time. Her whole setup was clean, hygienic, and she had incorporated specific measures for COVID. Thanks, Liz!

I will not be able to express how wonderful Liz made me feel on my wedding day. One review wouldn't be enough! I've never felt more beautiful, but I also felt I still looked like me. Amazing Experience with Liz

All of my bridesmaids, family, and I were so happy with our makeup and felt so beautiful because of Liz. We had such a great time getting ready and were super impressed by the professional equipment and setup that she brought with her to our AirBnB the morning of the wedding. The airbrushing felt super light and my makeup lasted the entire day. At the trial, I was beyond impressed with her ability to look at my features and tailor the makeup to me even though I had no idea what to ask for going in. Liz amazed me!

On my wedding day I wanted to look like me, and Liz really followed through. I felt so beautiful, so me, yet more glam (if that makes sense). I don't usually do my makeup, but Liz knew exactly how to work with my tan skin tone, and knew exactly what color to make my eyes and smile pop. Liz is professional, she is accommodating, and she is so patient. I definitely recommend her!! Phenomenal Makeup Artist

If you want a very natural look with a touch of glam, Liz is the makeup artist for you! Liz is very professional, easy to work with and an overall phenomenal makeup artist!

Throughout the planning process, Liz was extremely attentive; listening to my wedding vision, makeup ideas and answering any questions that I had. Her attentiveness made the experience so enjoyable. On my wedding day, there were 13 of us getting our makeup done and Liz and Crystal were unbelievable. They were fun to work with and they made my bridal party and I feel so comfortable and beautiful. They took the time to listen to what each girl wanted, and they created unique looks for everyone.

As a bride, it was very important to me that my makeup looked natural with a little extra glam and Liz did exactly that. I have never felt more beautiful and my makeup was flawless! Liz had captured the look I was going for perfectly and even through lots of tears, sweat, and dancing, at the end of the night, I still looked amazing!

Liz is incredible!!!

Liz did all the makeup for my wedding and she was just amazing. She took my vision and tailored the look to compliment my features/overall vibe. I felt so beautiful and most importantly didn’t feel like I was caked with makeup or over done. I really felt like the best version of myself. Blown away!

So thrilled I decided to use Liz Washer for my wedding! My makeup was beautiful and natural, lasted the whole night, and made me feel like a princess. All of the women who had their makeup done LOVED their looks (and they are all family so they would be honest!). Wish Liz could do my makeup everyday!

I cannot recommend Liz enough. Liz and her friend/ fellow makeup artist, Betsy traveled to Manchester, VT to do the makeup for myself, the MOB, MOG, and 5 bridesmaids. They arrived early, managed to transform our hotel suite into a makeup studio with lighting and director chairs, stuck to the schedule and blew everyone away with the final product. I live in NJ and never got a chance to do a trial, but Liz realized my vision and let me play around with my lip color until we found the perfect one. The airbrushing was flawless and looked just as beautiful in person as it did in pictures. Liz and Betsy were both incredibly professional, thoughtful and very easy going and brought a calming presence into the bridal suite. They managed to bring out the natural beauty of all the girls and not only did everyone love it, but our makeup lasted all night!

Liz is fabulous!

I can't recommend Liz enough. She did the makeup for me and my bridesmaids at my wedding. Each of our makeup looks was different, but somehow they all fit together beautifully. She is just really good at "reading" people—she managed to match each of our makeup looks to our personalities. Also, she fit in a full face of makeup for one of my relatives, and make up touch-ups for two more (none of which had been planned in advance.)

I have a number of family members in fashion and magazine design, and they were blown away by the quality of the makeup. Multiple people asked for Liz's contact info. She is a gem.

I am so glad I splurged on airbrush makeup with Liz! She was able to do all of our makeup onsite at our venue which made our morning very relaxing! All of the girls and moms felt super pampered and EVERYONE was so happy with the final product. She captured everyone's beauty perfectly. Liz was so great to work with! She truly wants you to feel like you're a model on your wedding day! I don't wear makeup too often, so I had a lot of questions for Liz and was so easy to talk to and helped me feel really comfortable throughout the whole process. Liz was awesome! She was always extremely prompt with responses, and she has a great online system where all relevant documents and payments are available for viewing. It was great to do a trial to figure out the exact look and colors I wanted for my big day, and on the actual wedding day I absolutely loved my makeup. I felt so beautiful! My makeup stayed on all night through sweat and tears, but was easily removed before bed. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Liz!

I'm so glad I chose Liz for my wedding! From the beginning she was super quick to respond to my emails and questions. Her professionalism and skill during the trial relieved any stress I had about my wedding day look. I ended up changing my getting-ready location shortly before the wedding and Liz was so flexibly and accommodating. On the wedding day, again, she was so calm and professional...even as people crowded around to watch her work and my flower girl bounced my chair! I don't think I even knew exactly what I meant when I said "a little more... insta-glam today" lol but Liz totally nailed it. I couldn't have been happier with my look. Liz did an amazing job and was incredibly easy to work with. We did one trial about a month before the wedding; Liz was flexible in finding a time to meet, had a great understanding of what I was looking for and did a wonderful job on the first run through. For the wedding, Liz was timely, professional, very calm and fun to talk to, and did an incredible job. I would highly recommend her to any bride!

I loved working with Liz leading up to and on my wedding day on July 28, 2018. I contacted her to inquire about the job and she got back to me immediately. She was then super flexible with setting up my trial (I live in NYC and she is in NH). The payment system she uses is simple and convenient. On the wedding day, she arrived early and was very professional and completed the job (6 bridesmaids, 1 bride) in the time limit she set! Make-up looked flawless for all and we all have different skin tones, too. Airbrush technique was well received. Would totally recommend Liz for brides in the NE area.

Liz was fantastic from the minute I contacted her. She was quick to respond to emails (often within hours) and she was very professional/knowledgeable during the planning process- even providing recommendation for other vendors and helped with day of time-line! Don't be scared by the price- the entire experience is totally worth it, you will be so happy you chose her! I rarely wear make up, so wanted this to be special for my wedding day. The air-brush technology Liz uses and her skill led to a natural outcome, no caking/over done face. The trail put me at ease. Liz was great as she listened to my vision and then we worked together to perfect my look. I felt an instant connection with Liz as she is caring and it was obvious she loves what she does. Day of she was punctual, professional, and in good spirits (she travels to your location). She was flexible, as one of my bridesmaid's last minute wanted her make-up done. I told her of the addition 2 days prior to my big day and she graciously accommodated moving her start time up without an issue. Liz was hassle free and I never felt stressed or worried, which I feel makes the perfect vendor. Liz is worth every penny, if you are on the edge with going with her, here is your push- you won't regret it!

Liz was amazing to work with and did such an incredible job with all of our make up for my wedding day! The whole process was seamless start to finish. Liz's studio for trials is beautiful and easy to find. She did an incredible job with the softer, simple look I wanted for my wedding day. She and the second stylist were right on time the morning, and efficient with getting through my bridal party, but made sure to stay for touch ups. I wrote this email to Liz after my wedding, "I cannot tell you how unbelievably happy I am that I came to you for my wedding look. I felt like a princess and you made me feel so great right from the start. I was immediately comfortable with you from the moment I met you and it just made me so stress free during the day because I trusted you entirely.
I wept through my entire ceremony. The tears would not stop. And I'll send you some pictures to prove to you (though I'm sure you don't need proof because you know exactly what you're doing) that I still looked perfect for the rest of the evening. You're a true magician. All my girls looked absolutely splendid too and it made me so happy to see justice done to a gorgeous set of bridesmaids. They all looked wonderful and have told me repeatedly to make sure to thank you on their behalf. I believe they had their share of tears too. :)"

I would also like to add that when I had a mini scare where the stylist at the hair salon I was getting my hair done at did not show up on time, Liz took the time to find me a backup just in case I was the stylist never shows up. The fact that I called Liz as someone I could trust in my time of need and the fact that she reacted to it immediately should tell you what sort of person she is. She is awesome at what she does and just a wonderful person overall. If you're worried about the cost, don't. I would never think twice to hire Liz or recommend her to someone else. She is worth every single penny!

Liz was actually recommended to me by our photographers as doing great work that looked natural. Sold! Liz did my maids, my mother and my makeup for my November wedding. She did the trial for our engagement shoot and I loved it. We ended up tweaking it slightly for the actual wedding and it turned out perfectly. It was so seemless and indistinguishable from my actual skin. I also had a raging pimple on my chin and as Liz said once she was done "what pimple?" Plus it lasted all night long with absolutely no need to retouch. She's fantastic! My sister is using her this year, I would recommend her to anyone.

Liz had been used my almost all of my close girlfriends weddings so when it came time for mine she was a no brainer! Liz and her team do a phenomenal job wth makeup. Liz has great visions and recommendations while also taking feedback from her clients. I knew that on my hectic wedding day I would be in great hands.

Not only did I feel absolutely beautiful (and so did my bridesmaids) but Liz was so easy to work with. She always responded to emails quickly And got herself setup and started on the big day. She was flexible with schedules and was an absolute joy to have in the room while we were all getting ready.

Let me start by saying I'm not a makeup person. I decided early on that I'd let a friend do my makeup on my wedding day, but when all of our other vendors recommended Liz for makeup, I started to second guess myself. So, I reached out to Liz and after one phone call the rest was history.

She is as personable as she is talented and immediately allayed my concerns that getting my makeup done would result in me looking like a Barbie doll. Of course I wanted to look beautiful, but most importantly I wanted to look like myself. Liz gets this and excels at it. I've never felt as gorgeous as I did on my wedding day, but what I didn't appreciate until recently was the impact makeup would have on our photos. I looked more stunning in those photos than I could have imagined and my makeup was obviously at the center of this. There isn't a single photo where I look overdone, but I look fresh, glowing and decidedly myself in every one thanks to Liz.

In addition to being super talented, Liz is a dream to work with. She was hands down my responsive vendor and totally on top of everything. She did my makeup as well as my bridesmaids so we got to spend a lot of hours together on our wedding day. I can't think of someone nicer, calmer or more relaxed to have around.

Hiring Liz was one of the best decisions I made. She not only made me look beautiful for my day and my photos, but she made me feel beautiful. I got to my wedding and didn't think once about how I looked - no touching up makeup, no worries my eyeliner was running. In the end, there is so much to worry about on your wedding and it's a truly a gift to feel confident in your own skin knowing you look like the most beautiful version of yourself. And when you get your photos back, which confirm that you looked as gorgeous as you felt that's the icing on the cake! Based on her stellar reviews, Liz was one of the first vendors I booked. She lived up to every ounce of praise she's received. She is a gem of a person and has serious chops. Check out her website to see her impressive film/ TV/ wedding experience, if you're influenced by such things. Liz has serious credentials. If you're hesitating at the price, she's worth every penny, and remember that the price covers you and four other people with no travel/ mileage fees (in the local area, anyway) to come to you on your wedding day. She is wonderful to work with and will follow your lead on what you want. If you don't know what you want, just trust her--she's a genius. I did a trial run with her (and her friend Jenursa, who did my hair and is equally awesome--see below), so we knew what I wanted in advance, but she did my brideswomen and mom cold and they all looked stunning. Book her NOW--she's in high demand, so don't wait on this one. You won't regret it!

I can't find Jenursa (hair) on here to review her separately, but if you book Liz (which you absolutely should), ask her to put you in touch with Jenursa. They work together frequently and have a great rapport, which really matters on the morning of your wedding. Liz and Jenursa are friendly and fun--and they're also super chill and laidback, which really, really helps everything go smoothly. I can't emphasize this enough. At least one person in your wedding party is going to be high energy or kind of stressed, so having chill professionals around you to balance this out really makes a difference.

Back to the fun stuff: Jenursa is absolutely amazing. She made all of us look like vintage movie stars, and our hair stayed in place all day and night (outside in July). I was complicated in that I wanted an updo for first look and long hair for the actual ceremony, and Jenursa made it easy for me to take the updo down on my own. Both styles were beautiful.

Liz was amazing!! She did the trial which was perfect because on the day of my wedding I knew exactly what I was going to get. There was a total of 7 of us having our makeup done and Liz went at the pace we were looking for...laid back and not rushed. She was so calming and professional. It was very important to me that I as well as the others in the bridal party looked very natural and not shiny or washed out. She nailed it!!!

Where do I begin?! First I will say Liz is the best make up artist EVER! Knowing that you will be the center of attention on your wedding day and that you will be in tons of photos you will look back on for the rest of your life, you do not want to skimp on your Make up!! I knew i wanted to feel and look my best! If you feel this way, you NEED to hire Liz! I set up a trial with her about a year and a half before my big day(she books up fast, obviously, shes amazing) I chose to do a trial on a day that I had a wedding to attend, WOW! I have never felt more confident in my life, I received compliments all night, literally, all night! I then hired her for my engagement shoot , my boudoir shoot, and my bridal shower! When you know you have someone you trust 100% and you know that you feel amazing that whole day you wont hesitate to call her for every occasion! Sorry Liz, you cant get rid of me, I will be calling you for the rest of my life lol! Liz was ALWAYS on time, wrote back to emails fast, has a great personality, and has a rescue pup, how can you not love her!! Also I would like to note that out of the 9 ladies having there makeup done that morning, about 4 of them never really wear make-up and were hestitant because they didn't want to look like clowns, I reassured them that Liz was a pro and was amazing at bringing out natural beauty and wouldn't over do it, yup she did exactly that and all my bridesmaids and mother's were so happy!!! Liz was absolutely the right choice for my wedding. She is pricey, but I assure you it was worth every penny. I didn't feel over done and the airbrush makeup was so light and I felt flawless. It lasted all day, over 14 hours. I don't actually think I did a single touch up. It photographed beautifully as well. I am glad I did the trial; it calmed my anxiety about the day and helped us come up with a look I loved- plus I got to try the fake eyelashes and test the makeup for allergies. The bridesmaids and my mother also agree... they felt beautiful as well. Many said my mother has never looked better! Liz is also extremely kind and very easy to work with. Excellent communication and was exactly on time.

If you are lucky enough to have your wedding date available to Liz, book her immediately! Her work is flawless. I found her about 6 weeks before my wedding after I had a make-up trial with someone else that I didn't love. I was so lucky she had the date available because my wedding was in the off season. She accommodated a trial run very shortly after I booked her. She is reliable and so very sweet to work with but most importantly, she has perfected her craft of make-up artistry. I couldn't have been happier with how she did my make-up. My husband absolutely loved it as well. The make-up felt light and airy yet she created dramatic eyes just as I wanted. I hired Liz to do my makeup for my wedding. I don't usually wear makeup and was concerned about feeling too made up or uncomfortable. Liz's confidence and laid back personality helped me relax and trust in her abilities. I just let her do what she thought was the best for me and it was perfect. Liz finds the perfect balance between friendly and accessible and professional. I met her about 5 years ago and she did a wonderful job on my daughter's prom makeup, so when it was time to plan vendors for my wedding, I planned it around her schedule! I've seen in person and through her blogs the amazing transformations she creates, but I still wasn't prepared for how I would feel when I looked in the mirror for the first time after she was done with me. It was just the thing I needed to feel confident and beautiful and ready to be in the spotlight! Before the big day I was a little worried that having makeup that was "photo ready" would mean I would look overly made up in person. That wasn't the case at all, the makeup felt nice and light, looked stunning in person, and translated to photos just as beautifully. The whole process, at Liz's home studio, was comfortable and easy. I also had her cover some tattoos that I hadn't had a chance to recolor before the wedding. The coverage was great and it withstood the event without as much as a smudge, and it didn't transfer onto anyone's clothes with all that hugging going on. I knew I wanted to hire Liz even before I was engaged! Right as I started planning my wedding I emailed Liz to see if she was available for my chosen date. Honestly I probably would've changed my date if she was booked. Liz was so easy to plan with and have great trial date and time options. On the day of my wedding she was early and very good at sticking to our time line. Liz even added my sister in laws makeup to the list day of (I paid separately for her) since there was enough time to! We got married in York Maine which she was so positive about traveling to. The morning was so smooth and relaxing being able to spend time with my best friends mom and sister in law while Liz made us glow! Where do I even start with how fabulous Liz is? She was referred to me through multiple sources, and after working with her, I can absolutely see why she was so highly recommended by other vendors I met.

Liz is thorough, professional and warm. She did my trial which also doubled as makeup for my engagement shoot, and I loved it. Upon reviewing my engagement photos, I decided I wanted to do something different for my wedding, so it was more of a surprise for my hubby-to-be. When I asked Liz for a second trial, she said it wasn't a problem at all, and happily set it up for me. She was just as thoughtful and had as much attention to detail as the first time.

The day of the wedding Liz arrived promptly on time, and even finished a bit ahead of schedule. I had her do make up for me, my mom, and my four bridesmaids. The way Liz did makeup for everyone, it just felt like she had known them all for years. It was as if she has an intuitive sense for their personalities and style, and all of my ladies looked like the best versions of themselves. We also had so much FUN! We laughed and cried and Liz was right there along side us, in the best kind of way. Finding someone who is a professional and you want to be friends with? That makes for the best kind of wedding day.

Now, lets talk about my makeup for a minute. It was perfection. I literally wouldn't have changed a thing. The best of it all was how long lasting it was. I have a tendency to get red and blotchy (especially when I'm drinking wine, and believe me there was plenty at the wedding), and with Liz's airbrushing magic, if I did get red, I wouldn't have even known it. My makeup remained flawless all night. I drank a lot, danced a lot, hugged a lot, and it all stayed put. The value of not touching up your makeup on your wedding night is seriously priceless.

I couldn't more highly recommend Liz for your wedding, or any occasion you need your makeup done for! An absolute worthwhile investment for your big day!

I cannot recommend Liz enough. She did my makeup when I was a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding and I knew then that I didn't want anyone else to do my makeup for my own wedding day. Not only did she end up doing my wedding makeup 2 years later, but she also did my mother's makeup and the makeup for all my bridesmaids. We are a queer/LGBT couple; both identify as Femme and one is genderqueer/non-binary. When I said "I want to look like Divine and Dolly Parton's love child" she delivered. I loved my makeup and I'm not sure anyone else could have truly understood my zany idea. She taught both of us some great makeup tricks for preventing lipstick on the teeth and the touch-up bag was helpful. Great knowledge of color coordination and overall skin care - I have super sensitive skin and she knew just what to do.

I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

Liz did my wedding makeup for my June 2015 wedding at the Lord Jeffery Inn and I could not have been happier with the results. I'm not an everyday makeup wearer but I was not nervous at all working with her. She works with a lot of brides like me who want to look beautiful and polished but who also prefer a more natural look. Liz did not disappoint! My skin looked flawless and she knew how to make my eyes pop without being over the top. She suggested false lashes and I'm so glad she did. My eyes really stand out in my pictures. Liz also did the other ladies in my wedding party and she a fantastic job with them, too. Everyone was very happy with how they looked. She even ended up doing the makeup for a friend of mine who decided to have it done at the last minute and was so accommodating. In addition to being super talented she is also an extremely nice and down to earth person who is very easy to talk to. I highly recommend Liz Washer for wedding makeup. Book her and you will not be disappointed.

I had a wonderful experience working with Liz! She is extremely professional and responsive, not to mention an incredibly talented makeup artist. Liz and I worked together before and during my makeup trial to find the look that I wanted. She was there to provide advice on some of the ideas that I had, and made suggestions for my overall look based on my dress and venue. I typically don't wear a lot of makeup, but Liz's style made me feel comfortable and so glamorous! All of the ladies in my wedding party loved the way their makeup was done. I could not have been happier with my makeup on my wedding day - I've never received so many compliments as I did that day from our family and friends. Liz was recommended to me by my wedding photographers and I'm so happy she was available for my wedding! From my first inquiry I knew she was going to be awesome! She was very responsive and even asked for some photos to gave her an idea of my weeding inspiration.

My trial could not have gone better. It was at Liz's studio and I was even able to have my hairstylist there to do my hair trial which was extremely convenient since I live out of town. I explained to Liz that I don't normally wear a lot of makeup so I wanted to look natural and like myself but more polished. She gave me a look that was flawless and timeless! Liz also has a tiny adorable dog that was a great icebreaker when I first arrived :)

The morning of my wedding Liz was right on time even a little early. She did makeup for myself, two bridesmaids and two moms. Everyone looked amazing and they couldn't believe how natural the airbrush looked! I was so calm all morning because I knew I was in such great hands. Our makeup looked great all night long with hardly a touchup. I can't recommend Liz enough, she is so talented at her craft and you can tell she really loves what she does. If you're thinking of booking Liz, act quick before she gets booked up!

I found Liz through two of my friends who used her for their weddings. My friends’ makeup came out so beautiful that when I was looking for a makeup artist I asked them who they used. Liz is very friendly and professional, our initial “meeting” was over the phone and we talked about my colors/look/wedding dress. I brought a few pictures for reference of makeup ideas I liked and Liz captured what I was looking for. I never had airbrush done before, but it felt so light like I wasn’t wearing any makeup yet gave great coverage. I felt like me on my wedding day, as opposed to feeling like I had a face-full of makeup. All of my bridesmaids loved their makeup; Liz came to my hotel suite so it was fun how we were able to get ready together in the same area. Liz was also very accommodating for my large group (9 people) and brought another artist in to help so we didn't have to start our makeup at the crack of dawn! One of my friends is recently engaged and already talked about how she plans to reach out to Liz since she loved my makeup. Overall I had a great experience and would highly recommend Liz!

Liz was more than professional and very flexible. She normally does wedding parties and I just needed myself done. She was willing to work with me and she was so flexable! My makeup came out better than I could even imagine and it lasted all day and when I mean all day it lasted for 10 am when she was done till 1130 at night!!! I'm a person who turns red very easily and I swear a lot! Her makeup stayed on through it all!!! I'm so grateful and she is totally worth it! It was an amazing experience!

Liz came highly recommended by our photographer and I was SO glad she was available for my wedding. She was simply amazing to work with - extremely professional, always responsive and just fun. She did my make-up as well as my small bridal party and the flower girls (which was very sweet). I don't wear a lot of make-up and Liz did an amazing job of creating a stunning look that was still very natural. She even won over my mom who hates getting her make-up done but after seeing how amazing we all looked, she couldn't resist.

I have never felt more beautiful than I did that day!

Liz is amazing. I can't recommend her enough. I used her for my Bridal makeup, and all of my bridesmaids loved their makeup on the day. We ended up adding two additional on the day of, and Liz was very accommodating (my mother, and mother in law - who were very nervous about getting make up done but liked her work). She's also great at emailing and getting back to you - and I really felt like she genuinely wanted me to have a great wedding day. Her touchup kit stayed with me and I used the lip gloss over and over during the night. If you are deciding who to book - USE LIZ!

Liz Washer did the makeup on site for my Mom, my 3 bridesmaids, and myself in a very rural part of Vermont where our wedding was held. Not only did she do a fabulous job with our makeup, but she set the tone for the entire day by showing up early, leaving plenty of time to get everyone's makeup done, and being very cool yet professional the entire time. Her calming demeanor helped us all be able to relax and just enjoy ourselves. We felt pampered rather than stressed throughout the entire morning. She was always very responsive, ever since my first contact with her about a year before the wedding up until the day of. She is extremely talented, but almost of equal importance, professional and reliable. I should also mention that I am very picky about my makeup...I prefer a natural look and it was important to me that I looked like myself that day. She nailed it in the trial run and then again on the day of the wedding. I couldn't have been happier with her services and I 100% recommend her to any bride.

I have worked with Liz for years for some fashion and bridal styled-shoots, so when the time came that I was planning my own real wedding, I only asked one person. I was ecstatic when she was able to do it! Even when I changed the location on her at the last minute, she was able to drive out to me and was totally chill about it. The makeup was great, lasted all day through the kissing, mom speeches, snow, and late-night friend reception/pub food. I even kept the eye makeup on through the next day (though she explicitly tells you not to, sorry Liz it's just too pretty!).

Liz is, to use her own words, "uh-mazing!" She is a true artist who knows color and lighting, and more importantly, how makeup will look in print. She listens to what YOU want, and is eager to help create the look you want for your big day. She's relaxed, friendly and professional, all at the same time.

I had a "trial" with Liz for my engagement photos, and was so thrilled with the results. She was super flexible when we had to keep rescheduling due to rain, and replied to emails and calls immediately, and never tired of answering my questions. After I got the engagement shots back, we discussed what I wanted to adjust while she made very good notes about the specifics so she could refer to them on my wedding day. She arrived the morning of my wedding on time and ready to work with a smile on her face and a sweet, calming demeanor. I was tremendously relaxed while in her chair--a welcome feeling for a bride on her wedding day.

As a woman who wears makeup daily and isn't afraid of a dramatic look, I was excited to give Liz carte blanche, and she did not disappoint! I especially loved how she blended the colors on my eyes. Some members of my bridal party aren't as comfortable in a lot of makeup, and Liz made them feel just as beautiful with a minimal, natural look. We all looked fabulous (if I do say so myself) in our photos, hours after it was flawlessly applied, even through rain, crying and dancing.

If you are making the investment in professional photography for your wedding, hiring Liz is a no-brainer. Have no worries that you will look as beautiful as you feel on your wedding day.

She books up FAST, so don't delay. You will be so glad you did.

Liz was absolutely wonderful to work with! She did my makeup at a friend’s wedding last year and I just loved it, so when it came time to book makeup for my wedding she was my first call. Liz is extremely easy to work with, from first outreach to scheduling my trial and coordinating timing of the day of she responsive and willing to do whatever I needed. The makeup itself was flawless, I had it done at 10am and it looked absolutely perfect until well after midnight, even with lots of crying and dancing! She also did make up for my mom and my bridesmaids who all felt beautiful as well. If you are looking for a professional makeup artist, I cannot recommend Liz highly enough! She worked with me and my bridal party this past September. The majority of the party, including myself, were not big makeup wearers, so we were a little concerned about looking foolishly made-up on the big day. Liz was so wonderful at keeping things subtle, enhancing each of our best features without making the makeup look so obvious. She is funny, confident, and VERY skilled at what she does. And she came right to the venue on the wedding day, which alleviated some of the stress of preparation. You should definitely hire her!

Liz is the absolute best makeup artist EVER! All of my bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning and they all kept saying how much they loved their makeup. I can personally attest to the consistency of her work - Liz has done my makeup three times and every time has been great. It doesn't feel like you are wearing a mask of heavy makeup, you just look like a better version of yourself while still being natural. I'm not sure I could add much more value to Liz's review page based on the glowing reviews that she has previously received, but I can say this - I had no makeup-wearing, "please do not overdo it my significant other doesn't like to see me in a lot of makeup", skeptics in my bridal party and after Liz was through with them, makeup converts. Liz's talent is unmatched. I feel so lucky that I found her on a whim and she happened to have a Saturday open since it worked out so well. Be smarter than me and book her way in advance, confidently and convince all the girls in your party to get her services so that they can all look as glamorous as they possibly could. Don't hesitate - if you're thinking about booking Liz for your wedding do it now! She is fantastic and books up fast! Liz did a wonderful job at my 8/9/14 wedding. Even my husband who usually doesn't like makeup at all said that my makeup was perfect. He thought I looked stunning but still like myself. Liz did a pretty natural look for me. She applied individual false lashes which blended well but really made my eyes pop! She did a wonderful job on my mom and bridesmaids as well - each one requested something different and she was able to tailor each look to their requests. She really can do anything, you just have to communicate what you want and you will not be disappointed. If you ask for natural, she will give you natural. She uses airbrush makeup that somehow evens you out without looking heavy at all. Highly recommended!!!

Everyone looked really amazing, and I felt so beautiful. The moms looked like total rock stars! Liz managed to enhance all of our features perfectly without making look like different people. I LOVED my pink lips, I'm glad we decided to with that at the last minute. Although I know better, I couldn't help myself - I slept in my makeup so I could show up at breakfast still wearing it. All of it stayed intact. Wish I could do my makeup like that all the time! Liz was fun to work with and so easy to communicate with, more so than most of the vendors I worked with. I was worried about spending the money but in the end it turned out to be the best decision - I had an acne breakout days before! Can't thank her enough for taking care of that!

My experience with Liz was awesome. From day one until the day of the wedding, Liz was on top of her game professionally and personally. She offered a makeup trial which was great because it helped me get used to how I was going to look and feel on the day of the wedding, what I wanted more or less of, and to see how long I could expect it to last (which was all day long!) Book Liz for your wedding! Do it now before someone else books her for your date! She is awesome-sauce. I never had any doubts about hiring Liz to do my wedding makeup. As a photographer, I had worked with her many times, both at weddings and photo shoots, and I knew that she was not only professional and very talented, but also fun, laid-back and flexible. As a bride, I was stressed out by a lot of the planning, and it was nice to know I didn't have to worry about my makeup. Liz was quick, calm and cheerful the day-of. She did makeup for both me and my Mom. - Neither of us wear much makeup in our daily lives, and Liz managed to do just enough to look special without making either of us feel over-done or not like ourselves. Mom looked great! I felt *so pretty* all day! The makeup lasted for hours and hours without smearing or fading or melting and it felt so natural. In fact, it still looked so good at the end of the night that I couldn't bring myself to wash it off before bed. (Sorry Liz! I washed it off in the morning and my skin looked/felt fine. What kind of magical stuff was in that airbrush, anyway?)

Liz was a dream to work with, and I am so glad that we chose her to do our wedding makeup! She did such a great job with all of us. I was extremely hesitant to hire a makeup artist, as I have had such poor experiences in the past - Liz is the first makeup artist who has ever actually listened to what I wanted instead of doing what she thought would look good. After the trial I hired her immediately! The day of the wedding, all of my bridesmaids couldn't stop looking at themselves in the mirror, and just sat and watched each other get their makeup done because the transformation was incredible - we ALL looked beautiful but still looked like ourselves. Liz was a dream to work with! She is just amazing at what she does, and knows what she is doing! I met Liz and her lovely little dog Edie for a consultation, and was comfortable with her from the start. Liz already came highly recommended by my other vendors and knew it would be a match as soon as I met her. She asked some questions on how I wanted to look on the day of my wedding, and even though I did an awful job I'm sure of explaining, she went to work, and when she gave me the mirror after she was done, I sighed with relief, looking at my own reflection in the mirror. She made me look like ME! (except slightly enhanced) I knew I could trust her the day of the wedding and with the rest of my wedding party. I was so glad that Liz could be a part of our day! She was both friendly and professional, and I was thrilled with her work. My wife, our bridesmaids, and I do not wear a lot of makeup, so we all went to Liz with pretty vague ideas about what we wanted. Despite this, Liz was able to create looks that were exactly right for each of us. Our makeup lasted all day with no touch-ups, and our pictures looked spectacular. Liz was also incredibly accommodating to our flower girl, whose family was running late getting to the hotel. Liz waited for 15 minutes to give her the royal treatment with some lip gloss and sparkles, and the little girl loved it! Hiring a makeup artist was a splurge for us, but absolutely worth it. I would recommend Liz to anyone!

[Needless to say, the following review comes from my wife but I'm posting our reviews:]

Liz did my and my bridal party's makeup at my wedding, and was awesome. Most importantly, she did great work. I am a very particular person (especially at my wedding), and I literally looked in the mirror when she was done and didn't want a single thing changed. In addition to being really good at her job, she is also super cool. She is very calm, which I really appreciated. She is organized and professional, and has an attitude towards weddings and makeups that I really appreciated. I would recommend her without reservation.

My only complaint (and I don't really hold Liz responsible for this), is she recommended our hair person, who I didn't love love. I can't find any reviews for her, so will just put mine here. Her name is Jen Adamites (www.jenursa.com). Jen did my and my bridal party's hair at my wedding. I think she was pretty good -- at the end of the day, everyone looked beautiful, but I would not put her in the category of totally amazing hair magician. My hair took a ton of tries day-of, and at the end of the day, I would say I was 85% happy with it. This is partially my fault -- as I said above, I am one of the more particular people I know, and I also didn't have an 100% clear idea of what I wanted. Jen was good about working with me to get it right. But, it was definitely a frustrating and time-consuming back and forth, and I didn't ultimately feel like my hair was as perfect as I had hoped, or that she totally got what I wanted. She's a nice and easy-going person, and overall, it was certainly no disaster.

Liz was incredible! Right from meeting her and doing the makeup trial to the wedding day itself and all the crazy emails I sent in between she was professional, patient, understanding, personable, and friendly. She listened to my vision, understood the theme of my wedding (Victorian) and pulled off exactly what I was hoping for! Hollywood classy with a touch of smokey eye. Nothing too over the top but a bit more than the typical bride request of "make me look natural". Liz, nailed the look I had in mind, I mean, simply nailed it!

Not only did my makeup and my bridesmaid's makeup look stunning but she made my mother look like a Hollywood star from the 50's! It literally brought me to tears to see my mother so naturally beautiful! My mom didn't want her makeup done but after pleading with her and ensuring her that I trusted Liz's expertise, she agreed, and in the end was very pleased with her own makeup.

Price wise, she is very reasonable for the level and quality of work and quality of makeup she uses. I truly believe you get what you pay for when it comes to your vendors and she is worth every penny!

Liz was absolutely AH-MAZ-ING to work with! She promptly arrived at the time she committed to, (even at 7am!) and even finished ahead of schedule. No one in my wedding party including myself wears much make-up on a regular basis and she made everyone look so beautiful. My 13 year old niece was a junior bridesmaid and she did a fantastic job, I was worried the make up might be too much for her age but Liz made her look so natural and she made it such a fun experience. Liz was really laid back but very professional at the same time, it was a perfect balance. It felt more like having a friend do our make-up rather than someone we barely knew. I would definitely recommend Liz to anyone getting married or wanting make-up services for any other occasion. She is extremely knowledgeable and talented, there is no reason to look elsewhere, she is the best!

Liz is so amazing! I never ended up doing a trial with her, my schedule and flexibility just did not allow me to, but she had such wonderful raving reviews that I trusted it would be ok. And I must say, all her reviews were so right! She is such a lovely person, and you could tell she knew what she was doing. I trusted her to make me look beautiful and it came out better than I could have imagined. She made me look and feel so gorgeous, as well as all of my bridesmaids and my mother. Even before I met her, through all my email exchanges with her, she was so professional and so nice! I highly recommend using Liz, you will be so happy that you did!

Liz did a fantastic job doing the make up for our wedding! Everyone looked beautiful, natural, and most importantly, they all felt comfortable wearing it. She really listened to the style of make up everyone wanted. My mother was hesitant about having her make up done at first, but ended up being so glad that she did. She keeps saying that she would like Liz to do her make up again whenever she has another wedding or event to go to. A bridesmaid who has been in multiple weddings within the last year, said that she liked Liz's work the best. My partner and I keep saying that we wish we knew how to apply make up like Liz does. All such wonderful signs of Liz's work! We feel so lucky that she was part of our wedding day!

Liz was great to work with. She was really sweet, personable and so easy to work with. She also made you feel so comfortable which is really important. You could tell from the moment you met her that she knew exactly what she was doing and that she loves her job : ) She was also very accomodating when it came to scheduling our trial since I had to fly up from Florida and only had a specific date in which I could do it.
She really did an amazing job, everyone looked beautiful! I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Liz is an amazing makeup artist. She takes the time to see which makeup style looks best on each individual. I definitely suggest having a makeup trial run... it was so worth it. She comes well prepared and is on time. I felt so relaxed on my wedding day knowing she was doing my makeup. I also had so many people compliment my bridal party, my mom, and me at my wedding on our gorgeous makeup. Thanks again, Liz!
