Dream team!!! Highly recommend!

Wow what an AMAZING experience! Hiring MakeMeUpRI for my wedding day was the easiest and best decision I made! Christina was extremely responsive and professional from the very start! She answered all of my questions and made the booking process so easy! She also put together a wedding day schedule to use as a guide to keep everyone on track! She is so organized and because of this the day of my wedding ran so smoothly! She was not available for my wedding day but her amazing team was! I had Fatima, Samantha, Shelby and Jessica! They made me and all of my bridesmaids feel like supermodels! Shelby and Fatima did my hair and makeup and I have never felt more beautiful! Everyone was sooo happy and loved their looks! I even had several guests comment on how everyone looked gorgeous and I have already referred 2 friends to them for their weddings! I can't thank MakeMeUpRI and her team enough!

Look No Further For Your MUA!

Christina is an absolute PRO. If you're looking for someone to make you feel like the most beautiful version of yourself then look no further. She brings all of her own gear, works SUPER efficiently and is also just so delightful, kind, honest, and wonderful to be around.

Christina was the MUA for my sister's wedding and for mine, and in her chair you will feel so calm and confident. She quickly adapts to whoever is in her chair - she's easy to talk to if you're feeling chatty, but she is also perfectly fine to give you some quiet if you're not looking for conversation. She keeps the vibe light and bubbly and is the absolute BEST hyper woman.

I'm not a big makeup-wearer so was nervous about what I wanted on my wedding day, and Christina gave me so many options and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the way I looked (and so did my entire party

Best Makeup Artist Ever!!!

I cannot thank Christina enough for the FLAWLESS work that she produced on my wedding day with my makeup!! Even not feeling well, she still took the time to drive 1.5 hours to me and make sure that I had the makeup that I wanted for my special day. It takes a certain person to put everything aside and still show up for someone, and Christina is that person. From my trial to the day of, she made me feel and look like a princess and I couldn’t be happier with choosing her as my makeup artist for the day!! THANK YOU for listening to what I wanted and putting in the time and work to ensure that I got just that. There are plenty of things that people stress about on their wedding but if you book with Christina, having the most perfect wedding day glam will NOT be one of them!!

Perfect makeup vendor!

MakeMeUp did makeup for myself, 7 bridesmaids, & 3 moms on my wedding day & everyone LOVED their makeup. Christina was super responsive via email & very fair in pricing. Stephanie was our lead makeup artist & she was incredible on the trial day, as well as the wedding day. Best in RI Makeup!

I went with MakeMeUpRI for my wedding after having been a bridesmaid at 7 other weddings. MakeMeupRI did my makeup as a bridesmaid for 2 of those weddings, and as far as bridesmaid makeup went, they clearly were the BEST - across the board on all girls too! When it came down to my wedding, there was no question that I was going with MMRI - one of my top “needed to get” vendor for sure! They have this thing down to a science and are true professionals. I went with Christina (owner) for my wedding, and while I do think any other artist would have done an incredible job, I was so beyond happy I did - best decision! I had a trial first (which I highly recommend) and Christina followed up with me a few days after to take notes for any changes I had (all minor!). She clearly prioritizes her client’s happiness, and wants to make sure you LOVE your look for your wedding day. On the morning of the actual wedding day, I trusted Christina inherently with the amount of blonzer/blush ratio (something I always overdo on my own oops), knowing what photographs best. She was 1000% right and my makeup looked flawless in my photos (and in real life too!!!). Not to mention, Christina is truly one of the kindest people - the morning of the wedding when all the craziness was going on behind me, Christina truly chilled me out and was so refreshing to hang with for the hour that you have to just sit and do nothing (only time all morning!) while getting your makeup done. I’m so grateful for her that day! I know the other girls on the team are awesome too and the bridesmaids /MOG/MOB absolutely loved their looks, and looked stunning.

Christina and her team were a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process, from pre-booking to makeup trials to the wedding day. All 14 women in our group looked fantastic! Flawless!!

Christina was absolutely phenomenal to work with! She and her team made myself and my bridesmaids look out of this world beautiful. My trial confirmed how much talent she has - she even followed up with me after to see how the makeup held up throughout the day (perfectly), and to see if for the wedding day if any changes needed to be made. She had even remembered the exact lip shade we used during the trial so I could pick it up before the wedding. She is so friendly and truly makes you feel so comfortable. Everyone looked great all night - thank you again!!

Never felt prettier!

I have gotten my hair and make up done quite a few times but have never felt prettier than with Make Me Up RI! I used them as a bridesmaid and knew I had to book them for my own wedding. Christina is so nice, caring and truly wants you to feel like a princess on your big day. My bridesmaids and the moms also raved about the work this team did.

Great experience

I had a great experience working with MakeMeUp for my 12/18/21 wedding. Christina is extremely professional and easy to plan with. Her team is exceptionally talented at what they do. I had a particularly amazing experience with Caitlin at my trial. I was absolutely amazed at the look that she created (photo attached). On the wedding day, we had a team of 2 to take care of 12 people getting their hair done. Both stylists showed up on time, got set up, were super kind, professional and kept us on schedule all morning. Between the 12 people, there were all kinds of hair styles being requested - updos, half up/half down, braids, etc. Each hair style came out just gorgeous - everyone looked so elegant! I can’t thank MakeMeUpRI enough for the incredible experience.

Surpassed all expectations - so beautifully done!

Bianca and Nicole were phenomenal for our wedding day hair and makeup! They arrived promptly at the designated time and got to work quickly putting everyone at ease and building trust. They listened to each person and made them feel like a movie star. From our mothers who have short hair, to the brides with very long hair - Nicole was able to work with each persons hair and style preferences ensuring they felt comfortable. One of our friends had their hair done in the morning and by wedding time it had held up so well! Bianca was equally impressive with her makeup skills. Each person looked stunning and the makeup did not look overdone at all.

Bianca and Nicole worked so quickly that we had time to squeeze in makeup for one more friend. So efficient and set us up for beautiful photos as the hair and makeup photographed so so well.

Jenna, Bianca, and Kauri did an amazing job! Bride, bridesmaids, moms, and flower girl looked stunning!

I was so impressed by Jenna and Bianca's makeup application and Kauri's hair styles. They listened carefully to each of the ladies getting ready that morning and individualized the look to each person's preference. The makeup lasted all day and night (even with some crazy snow/rain/wind weather!) and so did the hair! All three were especially great with my four year old flower girl. She loves all girly things so she was super excited. Jenna and Kauri did my bridal trial and I had just a few adjustments that I wanted to make on the actual wedding day and they did so perfectly. I felt like my hair and makeup perfectly matched the style that I was looking for. Christina helped to communicate with me leading up to the day and created the schedule for the morning of getting ready. This really helped to organize us and to keep on schedule! I am so grateful for their hard work and would very highly recommend them!

Passed my expectations

Christina and her crew did an amazing job making my 9 bridesmaids, my mom and me look STUNNING at my wedding sept 12th. She was fun and bubbly and worked her magic starting at 6:30 am to get us ready in time for my church ceremony at 1 PM. Gorgeous work!

Hair and make up was one of the easiest parts of my wedding! I was recommended to Christina by a fellow bride and making contact and planning with her was a breeze. Better versions of ourselves!

Make Me Up RI is a team of super talented people! While Christina was unavailable for my wedding, we were lucky enough to have Kara and Kaydee doing hair. and Kelly and Bianca on makeup. I had done my trials with Kara and Bianca and knew I was in good hands. They are both super talented and made me look like a better version of me.

A week before my wedding, my mom fell and hit her head, resulting in a lot of bruising, soreness, and a big black eye. I gave Christina and her team a heads up, and Bianca barely batted an eye. She saw my mom and immediately said "no problem, we've got this." It may seem small, but her attitude toward this made all the difference. She did WONDERS on my mom's eye and it was nearly impossible to see that anything was wrong at all! My planner was recently asked if it's okay to ask a photographer to photoshop a black eye from a photo, and using us as an example said "if you hire a good makeup artists, there's no need to." He could not be more right -- Bianca deserves extra credit for helping to make my mom look and feel as good as she possibly could, given the circumstances!

All of the bridesmaids/moms looked and felt incredible. One of my bridesmaids never wears makeup and has only had her hair/makeup done professionally for her own wedding. She was nervous that she wouldn't look like herself, but the team made her look like a more beautiful version of her and she felt great. We even got her to wear lashes!

The planning process was super easy with Christina, and I am so grateful to her team for glamming us up. We all looked and felt great!

Best hair and makeup artists around!

Christina and her team were absolutely amazing! I had 8 ladies in my bridal party, plus my mom and mother-in-law. Because we had so many people needing their services, we hired 2 makeup artists and 2 hair stylists to help speed things up. Some people got both hair and makeup done, some got just hair, some just makeup, some got fake lashes, and some didn’t. With all these different combinations, I was stressing about how to organize everything; but much to my surprise, Christina created an organized sheet listing each time slot for every artist, and who would be in that time slot. I thought I’d have to create this myself, so I was so happy when I saw she did it for me! She was always very response with any questions I emailed her with leading up to the wedding, and on the wedding day everyone arrived on-time and got right to work. My hair and makeup lasted all night, and everyone looked and felt BEAUTIFUL. Thank you so much Christina, Alex, Angie, and Bianca. I’ll be recommending you to every engaged couple I know!

The best there is!

When it comes to hair and makeup for your big day, you want nothing but the best and Christina and her team are it! I had 4 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and 2 flower girls and everyone looked perfect! Wonderful service!

We had Jess from the team do our hair, and my girls and I all looked amazing!! She is so friendly and down to earth, and amazing at what she does! I did a trial with her a few months back and she took what I said I liked based on pictures and worked with me to come up with my look! She kept apologizing for being a perfectionist about everything, but isn’t that what you want on your wedding day?? Someone who’s double checking every detail and every whisp of hair! My curls did fall by the end of the night (my hair just doesn’t want to curl, it’s always been like that.. and I danced pretty hard all night!) but Jess made sure they looked perfect and would hold long enough for my ceremony and pictures!! (Which is of course when I cared most about my hair). I’m so happy she did my hair for my wedding!

Wedding July 27

Christina was amazing! She made me feel beautiful. She did an amazing job on my girls. I did not give her any ideas when it came to my bridal party but she did an amazing job. I am not even sure where to start - but my experience with this team was beyond spectacular. I reached out to Christina a LONG time ago to ensure I'd be able to book her for my wedding. From the initial trial, she was SO sweet and SO funny - yet super professional at what she does and was such an educator. The absolute best

I choose Christina and team after being a bridesmaid in a wedding where they did the hair and makeup. Firstly, Christina and her team are beyond talented. Secondly, Christina makes sure to work with your schedule and give plenty of buffer time, so I was never worried about hair and makeup running over and being late for anything. Third, they are absolute perfectionists. Christina wouldn't leave until all of my lashes were placed exactly perfectly. You can see from my photos that I never felt more beautiful. The best glam squad!

Christina and the MakeMeUpRI team did an incredible job making me and my wedding party feel beautiful on our big day. I’d consider myself a highly informed beauty consumer, and the minute I found Christina on Instagram (@makemeupri), I hired her. She is the MASTER of soft glam looks and truly enhances everyone’s natural beauty. Multiple people in my wedding party said this was the most beautiful they’ve ever felt, and I completely agree. She uses high end makeup that lasts all day & night, we started my makeup at 10 AM and it was still looking fresh by midnight. I learned so much from her during my trial and on my big day, it was a fun, creative, and collaborative experience. Ashlee did my hair and it was stunning, exactly what I wanted. My hair generally does not hold a curl, but it lasted all day and night. As evidenced by all of the wonderful reviews, this is the best glam squad in the area! I highly recommend them and will definitely use again in the future for all of my beauty needs.

Where do I begin?! Christina and her team are absolutely amazing!!
Christina first did my makeup when I was a bridesmaid a couple of years ago. I'm pretty picky about my makeup - coverage, color, taste, etc. I LOVED everything about my makeup that day. So when it came time to find my own wedding vendors, Christina was one of the first I booked. Without a doubt, best decision ever!
She is beyond sweet & incredibly talented. At my trial, she took the time to listen to my thoughts, likes & dislikes, and was patient with my questions & changes. She genuinely wants to make you happy, and works with you until you 100% are!
Her team is equally as talented and kind! I ended up having 2 hair trials with Shelby, after spiraling out of control & completely changing my mind on the type of updo I wanted. Shelby was a total rockstar and nailed both inspo pictures at the trials. I ended up going with the 2nd updo, and I swear it looked even more gorgeous the day of the wedding (if that's even possible)!
The wedding day was perfect. Christina, Shelby, and the rest of her team showed up right on time, full of smiles and bubbly personalities. Totally put me at ease!! I couldn't be happier with how beautiful my ladies (and me!) looked, and I would 110% recommend Christina and her team to ANY bride looking!

Beautiful job...everyone looked flawless!

Christina was recommended to me by a friend that had her makeup done for a modeling shoot several years ago. From the moment I contacted Christina, she was extremely professional and very responsive. Knowing that Christina herself would not be able to do my makeup, as she was already booked, I still decided to meet with her in person to discuss the look I wanted for hair and makeup on my wedding day. I instantly clicked with Christina. She was very thorough and understood the look I was trying to achieve; I knew from that moment that her team would be to her standards and I knew that whoever Chrstina assigned to my big day would be great! Over the months leading up to my wedding I was in contact with Christina regarding all my hair and makeup questions, which were always answered promptly. I scheduled a trial with Fatima who was assigned to do my makeup and Alex who did my hair. I’m so happy I did a trial because not only did I get to meet the lovely ladies who would be working on me on my big day, but I got to talk through my likes and dislikes which provided for an absolutely flawless wedding day. I could not be happier with all the ladies (Fatima, Alex, Jenna and Caitlin) that worked on myself, the MOB, MOG and my bridal party. Everyone looked absolutely stunning. Both hair and makeup looked natural and stayed in place all day for all the ladies. A special shout out to the very talented makeup artist Fatima and hairstylist Alex. Fatima made sure I felt comfortable with my look (I’ve never really worn lashes). My look was flawless: I looked both natural and glamorous all at the same time. Alex did a beautiful job with my hair and incorporated my requested changes from my trial. I could not be happier with the way I looked. I’m so happy I booked with Christina and her team!

Christina is absolutely amazing! Hands down, she is by far the best make up artist around. Her work is flawless, and it lasted all night! I had researched so many different makeup artists in the Newport area and was so disheartened until I found Christina. From the moment I contacted her so was so professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. Her photos drew me in, but her kindness is what really sold me! She is such a sweet person, and really wants every bride to feel as beautiful as possible. Her work the day of the wedding was flawless, and everyone adored her! I knew I had nothing to worry about, but yet she still exceeded all my expectations! It was the best feeling to feel so beautiful, but also so myself the day of the wedding. I have seen so many brides who either look like they have no make up on, or look like a totally different person. Christina knows how to bring inner beauty out, and to enhance that any person already has. I would recommend her to anyone!

I discovered Christina through Instagram and so glad I did! The only time I'd had my make up done by a professional was for my prom and it was disastrous so understandably, choosing the right make up artist for my wedding day was a HUGE deal for me. I also don't wear much makeup so I wanted to find someone that actually understood the concept of "natural" makeup and wouldn't give me purple eye shadow and pounds of mascara. During my trial, Christina understood exactly the look I was going for and I loved that she would hand me the mirror every once in a while to get my ok or ask if I wanted more or less makeup. After booking with her for both hair and makeup, she was very easy to communicate with and she emailed a schedule for my bridal party which was so helpful! The day of the wedding, her girls arrived on time and were super patient with a chaotic scene in my hotel suite filled with loud females ranging from ages 3-78!
Christina did the most amazing job on my make up and I couldn't have been happier! My hubby later told me that my makeup "was on point"! My bridal party's hair and makeup also looked stunning.
I would recommend Christina to everyone! I actually wish I could redo my wedding so she could do my makeup again LOL! Thank you Christina & team for making us look so good on my wedding day!

Christina is so talented and she was so incredible to work with! I knew I loved her work just from her photos alone! I scheduled a trial before my engagement photos and she more than exceeded my expectations! She is so sweet and truly understands what your makeup vision is, showing you every step of the way and consulting with you to insure the final application is exactly what you want. On the wedding morning there were bridesmaid like me who LOVE makeup and others who never wear any; she insured that everyone felt comfortable, confidant and beautiful with their final look! Beyond her talent, Christina is a true professional! She responds immediately and was always on time/early! I can’t recommend her enough!

Christina and Shelby were AMAZING!!! I could not have felt more beautiful on my wedding day. My bridal party and mom LOVED their hair & makeup and we all received so many compliments throughout the night! Not to mention it was 95 and humid out and our hair & makeup still looked perfect at the end of the night!
I HIGHLY recommend Christina & her team. She was so easy to get in touch with and answered all of my questions from day one. They showed up early, and made getting ready so easy and effortless. Thank you guys SO much!!!!!

Christina and her team were amazing to work with! From the trial a few months before the wedding to the morning of! Christina is easy to get in touch with, easy to pay, and her and her team do a fabulous job! The team which was 2 make-up artists me one hair stylist arrived early (both timely and the crack of dawn!) to set up, they were enthusiastic, and set up a great on-site space. Myself, my bridal party, and my mom, all got exactly what we wanted! My mom was afraid to look like a “clown” as she doesn’t usually wear make-up, and I can assure you she looked naturally beautiful! Christina and her team are easy going, and get everyone done in a quick organized manner!

WOW. I do not have enough wonderful things to say about working with Christina and her team member Jen. From the minute I reached out for a bridal hair and make up trial, Christina was amazing and so responsive. The morning of the wedding was perfect, largely in part to Christina and Jen. Honestly it was so fun working with them - it felt like having family around getting ready together. Not only were they great to be around and work with, they made everyone look and feel absolutely stunning. Everyone's makeup was flawless, and lasted well into the night, even through the after party. All of my girls felt and looked beautiful! Jen is unbelievable when it comes to hair styling. I don't have the thickest hair, and with just a few extensions, she was able to make me look like I borrowed Pocahontas's hair, in a very natural way!The styles she did on all of my girls were simply stunning. Some of the styles were so intricate and she not only did it very quickly, but just so beautifully. They were both such a joy to be around. They are masters at what they do - they work with such ease, and ended up with a masterpiece on each and every one of us. I can't thank Christina and Jen enough for making me feel like the most beautiful bride. I will certainly be reaching out for other events to work with Christina and her team! xoxo

Christina and her team are so wonderful to work with. I went for my hair and makeup trial a few months back and was blown away by the entire process. They are friendly and just know how to make you feel comfortable and relaxed while there. In my case, Christina and her girls really went above and beyond for us. Christina created a schedule for myself and my bridal party as well as my future wife who will be in a different location. She will have her team travel to 2 locations to accommodate our needs and is happy to do it without hesitation. Like every bride- we only want the best and I am happy to say we are getting that and more! I am now relaxed and able to wait for our big day knowing that everything will be perfect! MakeMeUp by Christina Kaian was professional, efficient and excellent value! All of the staff was so accommodating, and talented. The first aspect that I loved about MakeMeUp by Christina Kaian is that they offer to come to you wherever you are located. They came to our hotel the morning of our wedding, which was super convenient and so much less stressful! I had 10 women and 1 flower girl that they had to do both hair and make-up for in preparation of a 4PM wedding ceremony with a 2:30PM first look. They set up a schedule 2 weeks prior to the wedding day, and miraculously stuck to it. They completed all of our make overs with plenty of time for pictures prior to the ceremony.

I do not wear a lot of make-up typically, and did not want to look unlike myself on my wedding day. The make-up artist did a truly wonderful job of balancing increased glam for my wedding day with looking natural. The hairstylist worked with me to make sure my hair came out just the way I imagined it would (pintrest inspired obviously). She also took the time to not only place my veil, but to also show my Maid of Honor the best way to remove it when I wanted to do so. All of my girls and I looked absolutely gorgeous when they were through with us! Overall, MakeMeUp by Christina Kaian made getting ready for a very important and often stressful day an extremely pleasant and laid back experience! I highly recommend this company for your wedding day needs!

Christina and Fatima did the makeup for my wedding day for nine girls total! They were wonderful and everyone looked so gorgeous! Christina is extremely efficient and professional! It was a hot and humid day and my makeup looked perfect all day and night! All the girls were finished on time and looked stunning! If you are looking for professionalism and unreal makeup/hair styling skills you MUST go with MakeMeUp. Christina and her team at MakeMeUp are absolutely phenomenal. The professionalism she exhibits from start to finish is beyond anything I've ever experienced. On the morning of my wedding we had an issue with our bridal lounge, not only was she understanding but she took charge and made me feel like everything would work out in a really stressful situation. Shelby was also UNREAL amazing with the hair. She literally had myself and all my bridesmaids SLAYING at the wedding! Christina was amazing throughout the whole process, and I am so happy that I chose her to do hair and makeup for my wedding day! I would (and have) recommend her to everyone! She is an amazing person to work with and she is great with makeup! She is flexible in terms of hair and makeup trials as well! My schedule is very busy and I was able to have separate hair and makeup trials...with my hair trial being at my apartment the morning of another wedding I was going to, so I could give my hair style a test run :) Christina is amazing with makeup - giving the option of traditional or airbrush makeup to me, my 5 bridesmaids, and my mother, and we all looked fantastic! Jennifer (her hairstylist) is also great and flexible with all desired hairstyles! We all looked amazing and if I had to do it all again, I would choose Christina in a heartbeat! Christina is beyond AMAZING! She did my makeup for my engagement photos, bridal shower and for my wedding. Christina was outstanding!! Extremely responsive with my requests. Christina and her team were very prompt, arriving the day of the wedding before I even got there! Christina Kaian is absolutely amazing at everything she does! She is so professional, organized, and her work is gorgeous. I knew I could trust Christina and her team to be on time because she is so reliable and responsive. I booked her & her team for hair/makeup. It was very stressful because we started at 6:00am on my wedding day and there were 12 girls that needed hair and makeup done by 11:30am. Christina and her team were absolutely amazing from my first time messaging her with a million questions to making my bridal party and I look fabulous on my wedding day. My bridesmaids cannot stop talking about how beautiful they felt. They were so happy I chose to go with Make Me Up. The make up looked so natural and felt like nothing was on your face yet made your skin flawless. The make up also lasted the whole night through pictures and dancing. Christina's hair stylists did a perfect job! I had a couple girls with really fine hair and they made their hair look amazing and full. All the girls came on time and finished early. Christina was very accommodating working out the schedule on my wedding day. Also when my girls changed their mind and decided to add lashes. I would highly recommend them to any bride, they know beauty!

Christina was amazing from the day I contacted her about doing makeup for my wedding. She kept in touch with me throughout the entire process and was always easy to get in touch with if I had any questions. Christina was AMAZING to work with! She was super flexible when it came to booking the trial. She was able to work around my schedule and find a time that worked for both of us. She made me feel so comfortable and truly listened to 'my vision.'

Her quality of work is honestly out of this world!! Some of my bridesmaids had traditional makeup done while other had airbrush. Everyone's makeup looked just as amazing at the end of the night as it did at the start of the day.

Christina is amazing! I've gotten my makeup done at salons before, but my experience with Christina was way better. She's sweet and genuine and she really, actually listens to what you want-- and then she gives it to you. I am so glad I went with Christina-- I look BEAUTIFUL in every picture (and I'm not exactly known for being photogenic). She's now my go-to any time I need to look fabulous.

Before I found christina I had been on 2 other make up trials and I was horrified. I was getting discouraged that I wasn't going to find someone who could do my makeup the way I envisioned on my wedding day. I mean it is the one day that you want to look perfect right? (Let's just say I'm a pretty particular person) lol. Christina was referred to me by a friend who used her for her wedding. When I met Christina it was an instant match! Not only was she friendly, professional and flexible, but she is clearly so talented at what she does. She was accommodating to my every request. She first did the makeup for my engagment photos which I loved. The day of my wedding (July 3, 2016) she made me feel and look so beautiful and her work was nothing short of perfection. She made sure I was 100% satisfied with my whole look before leaving. She not only cares about how you feel, but she takes great pride in the quality of her work. That is hard to find. My bridesmaids and mother all looked amazing and were thrilled as well. I would HIGHLY recommend Christina (especially for you picky particular brides out there). Christina was recommended to me through a friend. I immediately knew I had to book her from my makeup trial. My makeup gave me the most flawless looking skin, yet still felt lightweight and most importantly it still looked like me. All of my bridesmaids loved their makeup and looked beautiful. Christina did an absolutely stunning job with not only my makeup, but also the makeup of my bridesmaids, my mother and my mother-in-law. Everyone felt gorgeous, confident, and repeatedly told me how much they loved the way they looked. I was going for a very classic, glamorous, but still natural look and she nailed it.

Christina was a great listener and was so accommodating. I was planning my wedding all the way from Texas and she would deal with my texts/emails/Facebook messages at all hours and even squeezed me in for a last minute trial since I was unable to travel up there to do so.

She was prompt, professional, and friendly. My girls and I felt, and looked like the best versions of ourselves. We all got the airbrush makeup and it lasted easily 12 hours through crying, eating, dancing, and of course, drinking. I could not recommend Christina more. She is truly fantastic at her job.

Everything about Christina's makeup was absolute PERFECTION! For my wedding, she did my makeup, along with my mother's, Mother-in-law, and six bridesmaids. Every single one of us loved our makeup! She made us all feel beautiful and made the day that much more wonderful. In addition to her fabulous work, she is extremely professional. I booked the makeup very late after a trial gone wrong with another vendor. Christina was booked, but luckily she was able to secure Shelby to do makeup for the ladies on my wedding day!! Christina was so accommodating in quickly getting us a contract and setting up a trial with Shelby prior to the wedding. During the trial Shelby nailed the look I wanted on the first try - it was JUST like the picture I showed her!

The day of the wedding I couldn't have been happier. I had a spray tan prior to the wedding that I didn't have during my trial, but Shelby was able to match the color of my tan (I chose to go with airbrush makeup) flawlessly. I didn't think it was possible for my makeup to be even better than the trial, but somehow I think it was!! Not only did my makeup come out perfectly, but EVERY single person Shelby did makeup for (my mother, a junior bridesmaid, and 3 bridesmaids) LOVED how it looked. It was so natural and beautiful and really fit each girls complexion.

I'm so happy I booked through MakeMeUpRI - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing makeup services for their wedding!!

Christina is an extremely talented woman who has a true passion for what she does - and is very accommodating. She did my makeup for my engagement photo shoot and for my wedding (and also for my three bridesmaids), both times my makeup was flawless and did not budge. I got married in the summer, and even through crying, dancing, sweating and eating my makeup (and my bridesmaids makeup) was still perfect. She is very knowledgeable and can create virtually any look you desire. I would highly recommend Christina to anyone looking to have their makeup done for an event, photoshoot, or just for fun. I wouldn't choose any other makeup artist.

Of all the folks/vendors I worked with throughout the wedding planning process, Christina was my absolute favorite. Her work is impeccable (I think the photos speak for themselves). But what the photos don't show you is that she is one of the kindest, most outgoing, and easy-to-talk to people I've ever met in my life. She did make-up for eight women (including myself, all of my bridesmaids, and my mother-in-law) on my wedding day and I think it's safe to say- after about seven hours of chatting with her that day- that we all felt like we had known her all of our lives. I didn't realize just how important that was (i.e., feeling comfortable around the people you spend the majority of your day with on one of the most important days of your life). All of the girls had very different face shapes and skin tones and she created different looks for all of them that they equally loved. Everyone felt so beautiful. We all did the airbrush and fake eyelash combo (which was VERY fairly priced when I was comparing prices to other make-up artists in the area). The look lasted all day/night (we only needed to do touch-ups on lip color, as she told us would be the case). Highly, highly recommend her a million times over!

Christina was absolutely incredible. She helped make my fairytale wedding come true! She was extremely reliable from the moment I contacted her to see if she was available for my wedding day. She took the time to not only give me a trial but my maid of honor and mother-in-law as well. She would contact me in the weeks and days leading up to our special day just to make sure I had everything I needed and even picked up my lip color for me since my life was crazy busy before the wedding. When I first met Christina, I knew that I wanted her to do my makeup for my wedding day. She is so great at what she does and she has such a great personality and makes you feel so comfortable as if you’ve known her for years. She is a must-have for your special day or occasion, everyone kept talking about how beautiful my makeup looked right up until the very end of the night! Christina was amazing!
She paid attention to everything I told her I wanted and she worked with me in the months prior to my wedding. I sent her about 20 emails with different ideas or questions I had and she helped me figure out what would work best on me.

Christina, it’s been almost two weeks since the wedding and I didn't want too much time to pass before I told you what a wonderful make-up application did on me, my MOH and mother. We all looked so beautiful! You listen to what we wanted, made “tweaks” when needed and made the entire process thoroughly enjoyable.
