When I was a child my parents used to take me to South Tyrol mountains to go skiing. I have always been fascinated by the charm of local traditions, and I am particularly attached to these memories. When I decided to propose to Thomas to organize a destination wedding in South Tyrol's mountains, I knew he would have loved the idea too. So we started looking for a wedding planner who deeply knew the province of Bolzano and its surroundings. As we met Alessandro and Marianna we instantly felt that they had a great knowledge to this territory as they know many places and venues ideal for exclusive wedding. Also, wha really helped us was their “expertise” in dealing with south tyrolean vendors and owners. Not that easy :-)
Besides, we felt we had a lot in common with them, and it was their idea to host the reception in a classic Tyrolean Stube. WOW!!! In addition to that, the day before the wedding, they organized an excursion for our guests to an 1700 meters alpine hut, where a wine tasting-session and an hams and speck degustation was ready to be enjoyed. Our guests still continue to thank us for this beautiful event, but I think I should be the one who should thank them though! They have traveled so much to reach us in Italy !! But the real big thanks need to be addressed to Alessandro and Marianna of Makeda .. we knew we could trust them since I met them the first time!
I wish I could marry in Sout Tyrol again!!!!!

Alessandro and Marianna clearly show from the beginning their passion for nature, forests and ecological style. We love mountains, trekking and in the first call on Skype we found out that Marianna and Alessandro knew the Dolomites very well and in particular the South Tyrol region. The wedding was scheduled for September 2018 but then it happened that my husband broke his ankle, so the event was canceled. Alessandro and Marianna has been really kind with us that time since they assisted us to recover and plan the wedding again from the beginning. The wedding was organized in Avelengo, a small town near Merano. They selected for us a refined mountain resort and designed a ceremony on a terrace that overlooked the entire Merano's valley! It has been a fantastic ceremony with floral arrangements just as I wanted. We will never forget these wonderful moments !! I will absolutely recommend them to my closest friends! -

Civil wedding in Italy
Alessandro is a real asset for his company, he helped us with the whole legal procedure for our legally binding ceremony in Florence. Legal requirements for Indians who wants to get married abroad are quite tricky, and I’m so grateful Alessandro took a weight off my mind by taking care of the whole procedure. Once we got the appointment at the town hall, I really could breathe a sigh of relief!! His wife Marianna managed all the planning so accurately, and I have always had the feeling we were in safe hands. And so it was! Thank you guys for having been so helpful and sympathetic all the time, can’t wait to meet you again!!

We planned from the beginning to have our three days wedding in a cozy Borgo in Tuscany.
It warmed so much my heart to see my guests so happy singing all together during the ceremony in the vineyard. Everyone was happy and relaxed and I was so worried that anyone could feel bad about the travel, but they were so happy though!
The wine tasting session in the typical Tuscan cellar has been a caress for our senses and our soul. Marianna has been very patient with us and she always found valid alternative solutions every time we change our minds! Thank you so much my dear!
