Lovely calming experience

Kerry Lou was just what I was looking for. I had a trial at her studio in March ahead of the wedding in December and we tried an up do. On the day of the wedding I went for half up half down and it was no trouble for Kerry Lou to change the style.
She has a lovely calm manner which helped me relax and her assistant did a wonderful job with my bridesmaid.

Kerry-lou is the best

I planned an elopement in NYC from Minnesota and my photographer had recommended Kerry-Lou. I could not have been more happy with her customer service, her professionalism, her talent, and for making me so comfortable and at ease on such a big day. She made me feel beautiful and even my husband said he was happy I still looked like me! She is the BEST and I would hire her again!

You cant go wrong with Kerry Lou!

My first experience with Kerry Lou & ProStyle Crew was with my sister in laws wedding almost 10 years ago. I left her wedding saying, when its my turn to get married I am hiring Kerry Lou! Well fast forward to December 2018 and she completely blew me away again. My hair and makeup were absolute perfection, Kerry Lou listens and follows through to all your requests. I went for my hair trial and had some changes and concerns about my hair holding all night. Kerry Lou listened to me and adjusted for the day of and my hair was perfect all night! Also my Mom was apprehensive about having her hair and makeup done and Kerry Lou met with her at my trial and said she would bring someone who would work well with my mom. This was amazing, my mom felt comfortable, looked fantastic and her make up held though all her tears. All my girls were thrilled with their hair and makeup as well. Bottom line...if Kerry Lou is available on your wedding date book her you will not be disappointed!

By far, the best hair and makeup experience I’ve ever had!

Kerry-Lou and her team are professional, calming and so accommodating. My experience couldn’t have been better. I had no doubt that she would create a look for me that was perfectly suited for my style. My hair and makeup were exactly what I had explained to her. I can only say that the compliments that I received at my daughters wedding are a true testament to Kerry-Lou’s talent. And, in addition, her team made the grandmother of the bride and mother of the groom look just beautiful. This is a talented and sincerely wonderful group of people. I can’t wait for the next event so that I can use Kerry-Lou’s services again.

Unlimited recommendation!

Kerry started our day. At 05:45 am she arrived at our room on time, in a good mood, likeable, professional, communicative. She managed to meet our expectations (we asked for a natural look) and I married the most beautiful bride, looking like herself and not like anybody else! Still I am sure Kerry would be able to do other styles as well - we definitely would book her again!

Perfect look

Loved working with Kerry Lou.
She was very professional and helped me to find the perfect look. As I needed to change the date of the wedding last minute, she assigned Cari Duprey. Cari did an amazing job. The make up was flawless and totally natural, the hair looked lovely. The bottom line: I was extremely satisfied and definitely recommend Kerry Lou and Cari service

Kerry-Lou did an amazing job with my daughter's and my own make-up for my wedding in New York. We had come from England so we couldn't have a trial but I was in very safe hands with Kerry-Lou, and Anna who did our hair. I wanted a natural look and being an older bride (49) and by the time they worked their magic we both looked stunning. I think I looked 10 years younger! Kerry-Lou worked with pictures we had provided and did an amazing job and the hair and make-up lasted all day and stood up to the heat in Central Park, a trip to Brooklyn with the photographer and through the night at our wedding meal. I would highly recommend Kerry-Lou and her team. They chatted and put us at ease throughout the morning. I would highly recommend. Thank you to both Kerry-Lou and Anna who did an amazing job.

Kerry-Lou is such an incredible artist and an absolutely lovely human being! I felt beyond grateful to have her and the ProStyle Crew as part of our wedding day. If Kerry-Lou and her team are free on your wedding day, you are really lucky - book her without hesitation! Kerry-Lou listened very carefully to my vision and incorporated the images I shared with her to make my hair and make-up so much more beautiful than I could have imagined! We experimented with several looks during a couple trials, and each time, I felt completely repaxed and at ease in Kerry-Lou's hands. She went above and beyond, even going shopping for hair extensions with me and recommending a great place to find a custom floral comb! She is clearly passionate about her work and brings a level of attention to detail that was so impressive. Kerry-Lou has beautiful, natural style herself that she transmits to her work. My look involved "natural" make-up and a sleek, minimalist chignon, and Kerry-Lou did a phenomenal job executing! She also did my mother's hair and make-up and set her COMPLETELY at ease, even though she rarely wears make-up. My mom looked stunning! The ProStyle Crew team also did an amazing job with my 5 bridesmaids. They were friendly, relaxed, and very professional - and ahead of schedule, which amazed me! Kerry-Lou and her team did a wonderful job doing the hair and make-up for my wedding day. I provided her a few sample pictures for my wedding inspiration and she was able to translate the look beautifully. I was worried about having my flower headpiece secured for the night but Kerry Lou executed the look with ease. I was able to dance all night without any problems (with my make-up staying put as well!). The team was meticulous on making sure I and my bridesmaids were comfortable and liked their look. They arrived early and were extremely professional. I could not have asked for a better team!

Kerry-Lou Brehm was great! Our photographer, Sascha Reinking, recommended her and I couldn't have been more pleased. I loved how she did my make-up and hair for my wedding! In addition to her styling talents, she was prompt and very friendly. I would definitely recommend Kerry-Lou to anyone in the NY/NJ area who is looking for a make-up and hair stylist for their wedding!

Kerry is very professional and accommodating. Originally our wedding date is in July but unfortunately we had to postpone it till November. She's very understanding and willing to work with us on the new schedule. She came on time to our hotel and finished everything right at the dot. We are very pleased to have her as make up artist and hair stylist as well.

Kerry-Lou was absolutely amazing! Not only is her makeup gorgeous and perfect, she is warm and wonderful to work with. I am a very picky person and she beyond wowed me! Her makeup is natural, flawless and stays the whole night. She made me, my bridesmaids, mother and mother and law look gorgeous. Everyone loved their makeup and thought it was perfect. She brought Cari with her the day of my wedding and she did an equally amazing job as well. I would highly recommend Kerry-Lou for any wedding and can't speak highly enough of her and her team.

Kerry-Lou did my hair and makeup for my City Hally wedding this past June. She was recommended by our wedding photographer , Sascha Reinking, and when I reached out to her, she was kind and easy to work with. She showed up at 6 am happy, calm and ready to go. I can't tell you how much my Mom, Sister and I loved her. Her presence is calming and her work is stunning.

I have rather thin hair and when I asked her to use my clip-in extensions, she happily obliged and proceeded to turn me into the best possible version of myself. My hair came out even better than I could have imagined and my makeup was spot on - not too overdone, but certainly glamorous. Actually, while we took photos around Manhattan, passersby asked us whether we were models, as opposed to just two people getting married - she is that good!!

Kerry-Lou was worth every penny and I am so grateful to her for making me feel my best on my wedding day. I cannot recommend her enough.

Kerry-Lou did my hair and makeup for my wedding last month. So, I'm from out of town and was originally not prepared for the prices I was quoted. Here's the truth- KerryLou was 100% worth it. She came to my hotel (super helpful considering the crazy NY traffic) and did the most wonderful job. When she was finished, I felt so beautiful. Glamorous but still like myself. She was super easy to chat with, making small talk with each friend that came and went while I got ready. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to Kerry-Lou's services. She's reasonably priced and does absolutely incredible work. I also feel like I came home with a stepped up makeup game since hanging out with her that day. I'm so thankful I didn't try to take care of my own hair or makeup on my special day.

Kerry-Lou and her team were FABULOUS on my wedding day!!! The whole process was so easy! I contacted her after realizing that two of my best friends (who each looked amazing at their wedding) used her for hair & makeup. We set up a trial which was crucial for me (as I really didn't know what I wanted to do with my hair). She helped guide me through the decision making process by allowing me to explore different styles: braid vs updo vs half-up half-down. In the end, I did an updo, and I received so many compliments! Above her amazing skills, she also has a wonderful, calm energy that every bride should be surrounded by on their wedding morning. So easygoing. I already have friends who have reached out to me to use her for their weddings!

What Kerry-Lou can't do with hair and make-up isn't worth doing! This woman is a magician with beauty tools, and the look she created from a few reference photos was nothing short of incredible.

Kerry-Lou came highly recommended by our photographer, Sascha Reinking, and we weren't disappointed. She was so flexible and accommodating, even helping my husband to make sure his hair was looking good for the day. Kerry-Lou makes you feel so at ease which is invaluable on your big day, and she is supremely talented - I have literally never looked so good!

Kerry-Lou did an amazing job on both my hair and makeup for my wedding day. She arrived early and had everything ready to go, and didn't bat an eye when I requested a few last minute changes to my hair, from what we'd decided on during my trial.
With an outdoor wedding and reception, the biggest issue (potentially) was everything staying in place. Kerry-Lou did a fantastic job, setting my makeup and hair, so nothing was out of place and my makeup stayed-put.
The last thing worth mentioning is how important it is to have someone who is professional and calming on such an important day. Kerry-Lou was both, and it's really what every bride needs on the morning of her big day.

Kerry-Lou and her team did hair and makeup for my wedding last weekend. Kerry-Lou did my mom and I and her team did my bridesmaids. Everybody looked stunning! Kerry-Lou was extremely reliable and flexible, she arrived early to set up and we were exactly on schedule at the end of our allotted primping time! Equally importantly, Kerry-Lou is an extremely kind and likeable person- she was fun to spend the day with and was genuinely concerned and committed to having me love my look. We had a Destination Wedding in NYC, Central Park. Kerry-Lou was recommended to me by my photographer and I couldn't have been more pleased with her services. She came to my hotel to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. She was a calming presence on what could have been a very stressful day. It was like getting ready for my wedding with a family member, only we had just met. Kerry-Lou is a consummate professional in her field, but it's her genuineness and sincerity that truly set her apart from the rest. I would recommend her and her services in any situation.

Kerry-Lou and her team were absolutely AMAZING during my wedding trial and on my wedding day. Kerry-Lou and Ana struck the perfect balance of making me feel like a movie star, but also making me comfortable and looking like myself. My seven bridesmaids and mother all looked stunning and commented that this was the best hair and makeup that they'd ever had done. I cannot say enough positive things about Kerry-Lou. She did both my hair and makeup for my rehearsal dinner and my wedding, and her team did hair/make-up for my bridal party. She was responsive to all my emails during the planning process, and even met with me more than once before the wedding when I decided I wanted a slightly different wedding look. Most importantly, Kerry-Lou is tremendously talented. I have never felt so beautiful in my entire life. She has an unwavering attention to detail, and made sure I looked flawless before leaving. Her entire team was extremely professional and ensured that everyone looked amazing. I would have been lost without Kerry-Lou on my wedding day -- her sense of calm and incredible heart put me at ease on an extremely stressful day. Don't look elsewhere -- just go with Kerry-Lou :)

My husband and I renewed our wedding vows in Central Park in November 2015. Our first meeting with Kerry Lou was the morning of the ceremony and from the moment we met, I felt completely comfortable in her care. Kerry-Lou is an incredibly talented and creative artist. With just a few pictures to guide her (that I provided on the morning), Kerry-Lou styled my hair and applied my make up beautifully. She used her talents and expertise to highlight my features and was genuinely interested in helping me achieve the look that I wanted for the day. Her calm and reassuring manner, patience, warmth and humour, made the morning especially relaxed and enjoyable. It actually felt like spending a morning with a friend. Kerry-Lou is a passionate, talented and very experienced artist. She played an important part in making our wedding day one of the happiest we have known. I highly recommend her for your special day.

Kerry-Lou and her team were a blessing on my wedding day! At first I really had trouble finding a hair and makeup artist who I fully trusted with my wedding day look - there are so many out there, but they're not all created equal! Finally, my photographer recommended Kerry-Lou, and I'm so grateful she did. From our first interaction and first trial, Kerry-Lou was professional, lovely to work with, and clearly talented. She is very experienced in all sorts of hair and makeup, and her styling is impeccable.

I had my trial 9 months before the wedding and as it got closer I wanted to tweak my initial hair style a bit; Kerry-Lou was very patient and knowledgeable as I figured out what I wanted. About a week before the wedding I had a second trial so we could play with the look some more, and even after that I went home and wanted to make a few changes - so I was a little worried that it would be hard to nail it on the big day. Nope! Kerry-Lou completely got it and created the PERFECT hairstyle, and my makeup looked absolutely beautiful. I got so many compliments from everyone - including a cousin who owns a prestigious hair salon in Philadelphia, who said my hair was absolutely perfect and stunning. I felt so gorgeous on my wedding day, and my hair and makeup lasted all night (til 3AM!) even with plenty of dancing (and sweating).

What's more, Kerry-Lou and her team had a fantastic attitude and were so wonderful to have in the room while getting ready on the big day. In addition to myself, they did hair/makeup for my mother, 4 bridesmaids and 2 junior bridesmaids. Everyone looked amazing, and Kerry-Lou and her team were a positive, calming presence throughout the entire morning. Kerry-Lou even helped talk me off the ledge the day before the wedding when I realized that my hotel suite was as dark as a dungeon (it all worked out ok, though!). I can't thank Kerry-Lou enough, and I am just so thrilled and grateful to have worked with her on my wedding day!

Kerry-Lou and her team are FANTASTIC!!! I found her on The Knot (I didn’t know of anyone who had been married in the NYC area for referrals). She sounded so sweet on the phone and from her great reviews I decided to take a chance and set up a trial.

I’m not the greatest with hair and make-up (I don’t do a whole on a daily basis) and didn’t know quite what I wanted but Kerry-Lou created an up do that made me look amazing! Kerry-Lou is fun to talk to, easy to get along with, and has a very calming presence—exactly the type of person you would want with you for several hours on your wedding day. After the first trial it was an easy decision to book her for my wedding day. I went back for a second trial to play around with the make-up and to test out the longevity of the hairdo (the second trial was equally as fun as the first and I was very happy with the minor changes we made).

On the morning of the wedding we had 6 people (in addition to myself) needing hair/makeup. Kerry-Lou came with a second hair stylist, a second make-up artist (her daughter) and an assistant. They were prompt, set up, and ready to go on time. The rest of her team was AMAZING and made my bridal party and my mother look absolutely stunning. Kerry-Lou wowed me again making me the most beautiful bride I could have possibly imagined. My entire party was so happy with their looks and the professionalism of the hair/make-up team. My make-up and hair lasted all day with no problems!

I can’t begin to express how happy I was to have Kerry-Lou with me on my wedding day. She made the entire process easy and stress free. I was very nervous about hair/make-up (before meeting Kerry-Lou) but she did an amazing job at bringing out my natural beauty. I would not hesitate to recommend Kerry-Lou and her team to another bride or anyone needing professional hair/makeup.

Kerry-Lou and her team of stylists helped out with my wedding this past September. I had 8 ladies getting hair, and 9 ladies getting make-up.
Prior to the big day, I met for a consult with Kerry-Lou. She is warm, charming and easy to get along with. When I explained what I was looking for, she had ideas to make it even better, and it was.
About a week before the wedding, Kerry-Lou checked in with me and sent along a detailed schedule of who will get hair and who will get make-up with which stylist and at what time. It took a HUGE responsibility off my plate.
On wedding day Kerry-Lou and her stylists arrived on time, and ready to go. She brought 3 additional stylists with her, along with her assistant. Everyone was kind, patient and fun to work with.
Hair and make-up were done ahead of schedule... which for me (the bride) was perfect - as I worry about time.

I would recommend Kerry-Lou to anyone. She is great at understanding and executing your vision so it is above and beyond your expectations.

I myself had a strong idea of how I wanted to look, and all I can say is Kerry-Lou "got it" straight away. I couldn't not have been happier with how she styled my hair and make up, it was perfect. Every single person commented on how gorgeous it was, even strangers in the street as I was on my way to get married! My hair and make up stayed in place from 7am in the morning till 2am the following morning when I went (fell in) to bed.

I could not recommend Kerry and her team highly enough. They took all the stress out of the morning of my wedding. It was fun, relaxed, and I ended up looking better than I ever thought I could!

Kerry herself is a lovely lady, very warm, approachable, professional, and confident in what she does. Thank you Kerry-Lou and her team for being part of my special day!

I have worked with Kerry-Lou before, she did makeup for my headshots.

And again, I am extremely impressed. Kerry-Lou is a genius at what she does. She just whipped up an AMAZING up do for me, from me saying "pin-up, but not TOO pin-up". The makeup completed the look, and I felt like a movie star.

Kerry-Lou and her team made all the women in my wedding look AMAZING. They were on time, took suggestions and blew the roof off our expectations.

Go for it. They will make you and your day that much more brilliant.

Kerry-Lou is an absolute pleasure to work with, and she is a hair and makeup genius. I worked with her for my wedding, and I couldn't have been happier. Compared to other makeup/hair artists in NYC her prices are quite reasonable, and she offers superior service. I met her for a trial at her studio in NYC—it’s nothing fancy, but don’t let that deter you! And she traveled outside of the city to Tarrytown to do my hair and makeup on my wedding day. She is incredibly talented, has a wonderful calming energy, and really understands how to achieve the look you’re going for. I couldn't recommend her more highly!

There are not enough good things that I can say about Kerry-Lou to describe how wonderful she is. She is talented, artistic and listens to your suggestions and makes you look amazing!!!! Not only do you look perfect in person, you photograph flawlessly.

She is a true professional and knows her stuff. She did my hair and makeup for my wedding on 12/4/11 and every single guest commented on how perfect my hair and makeup came out. She worked on my husbandâ€™s hair as well and he looked fantastic.

She concealed my flaws and highlighted/created assets with her skilled makeup application. As for my hair she did a beautiful up do which was an absolute work of art. My hair and makeup held up for 12 hours without needing a touch up.

Pre-wedding we had 2 make-up/hair trials and she was amazing, patient and worked endlessly trying to find just the right look for me.

Kerry-Lou made me look and feel like a movie star and I highly recommend her to everyone out there. You will NOT be disappointed.

I was thrilled with the way Kerry-Lou styled my hair and makeup for my wedding. Her rates were average, compared to the research I did and I felt she was worth every penny. She listened to me explain my ideas for what I had in mind and was able to make suggestions for what she thought would look best. After my trial, I knew I fully trusted her and didn't hesitate to sign a contract! On the day of the wedding, Kerry-Lou and her team made sure my wedding party and I were enjoying ourselves with the great sense of humor and fun and we never felt rushed. Kerry-Lou and her team are top notch! I was married this past September and Kerry-Lou's hair and makeup services were just great.

We met in February for a hair and makeup trial and I immediately connected with Kerry-Lou -- she is warm, friendly and supremely professional. The day of the wedding, Kerry-Lou and her daughter-assistant came to our hotel in Westchester and did hair and makeup for me, my mom and my sister.

Her relaxed but professional manner put us all at ease and we had such a lovely time getting ready. The three of us looked fantastic -- perfectly polished and gorgeous but also looked liked ourselves. I would whole heartedly recommend Kerry-Lou!!
