    A MUST HAVE for your wedding!!

    Ashley is absolutely tremendous at what she does. Her attention to detail and level of effort that she put into making sure my wedding day was exactly how I wanted it made me feel like I was her only client. Every time I spoke with her, my stress just instantly evaporated. Everything she did leading up to the day from discussing details, to coordinating with vendors, to creating an hour by hour event timeline made me feel secure that everything would go smooth. And then everything she handled the day of the wedding along with Bobbi was just incredible, from fixing the dance floor that the vendor installed wrong, to moving my family’s tables out of the wind, to coordinating an adjustment to the timeline so we could continue our game of volleyball, and so much more. I cannot give enough praise to Ashley and Make My Day for making my wedding day perfect!

    Amazing Experience!

    We cannot thank the Make My Day team enough!! Ashley was amazing to work with leading up to our wedding, getting all the details together, assisting with vendors as needed, and creating the most perfectly detailed timeline for the day of! Bobbi and Kennedy were truly incredible for our day of coordination. Their calm, positive energy kept everything running seamlessly. They made sure everything was in place, the day ran perfectly, we did not have to think about a single detail, and they were always ready with a drink or plate of food to make sure we were all good! We felt completely taken care of and genuinely supported every step of the way.
    Make My Day is truly the best—do not hesitate to book them! We’re beyond grateful for everything they did to make our wedding absolutely perfect.

    Day of coordinating services were amazing!

    I chose Make My Day as month of/day if coordinating services. They exceeded my expectations in every way. Ashley was very responsive and drew up a perfect timeline, communicated with vendors and made sure everything was organized for our day. Bobbi and Rida got everything right from set up to every detail that I had planned. They even got us drinks! Best investment and the most necessary vendor for any wedding day!

    Five Star Experience with Make My Day Events

    it is hard to put into words how overwhelmingly amazing it was working with Make My Day events. Ashley and Bella went above and beyond to make the planning, coordination and vendor management seamless for us. They assisted with our welcome party and wedding reception. The true test popped up the night before the wedding, when a coastal storm was upgraded to a tropical storm and posed a threat to our beach-front reception. Behind the scenes, MMD was calling dozens of venues to see if we could move the party last minute, while I was able to enjoy my rehearsal and welcome party. They worked their magic and found us a new venue with only hours to spare, and pulled off the most epic reception. They are miracle workers, make the impossible, possible and made our dream wedding a reality under the the most unexpected circumstances.

    I am so grateful that I was able to work with MMD and could not recommend them enough to brides in the Delmarva area!

    Hiring Make My Day Events was one of the best things we did for our wedding! They were extremely professional, kind and helpful on our wedding day. They ensured the day went seamlessly and were there for every hiccup. We highly recommend them and cannot say enough great things! We truly cannot imagine our wedding day without Ashley and Bella!

    Amazing experience!

    I cannot express how thankful we are to have booked Make My Day for our Sept 2023 wedding! Ashley was fantastic leading up to the weekend with gathering all of our details and creating a timeline for us and all of our vendors. Bobbi and Andrea were with us on site for our wedding weekend and could not have been any better! Their energy was incredible and helped set the tone for the most perfect day. Bobbi promised we would not have to worry about a single detail the day of and she truly meant it! They went above and beyond what we expected of them, remaining involved until the absolute end of the evening. I would recommend them to any bride!!

    The Fairy Godmother of Weddings-- Hire Ashley!

    Ashley is truly the fairy godmother of weddings. She held my hand through every stressful moment (like ever-changing COVID restrictions) and through it all had a positive attitude, kindness, and charm. She is incredibly organized, always one step ahead of schedule, and beautifully coordinated communication between our vendors, families, and guests. Our wedding was perfect because of her-- her creativity, her work ethic, attention to detail and care. She found us amazing vendors late in the game too! I highly recommend everyone get a wedding planner for their wedding, and make that planner Ashley, because she made the process sing from the very start. Ashley is a wonderful person and I'm grateful to call her a friend now. If you have any event in the Delmarva area, hire her!

    I can't recommend Ashley and her team (especially Corrine) enough! We had a tough venue - and venue manager - to work with, but Ashley coordinated everything with grace and a smile. She knew all the right questions to ask and the best vendors to hire, always taking our budget and personal preferences into account. Better yet, she navigated my mother's and my often opposing opinions! I can't imagine what we would have done without Make My Day - Ashley put us completely at ease throughout the whole planning process and the entire wedding day. My favorite thing was her all-encompassing wedding weekend timeline - my whole family kept referring to it and everyone stayed on schedule!

    I couldn't give Ashley and Make My Day Events a higher recommendation. I'm embarrassed it took me this long to write this recommendation! Ashley was beyond helpful in making sure our day was perfect. We liked her so much that my mom hired her for our Welcome Party and the Goodbye Party the day after the wedding. ALSO, it rained like the dickens on our wedding day and Ashely ensured that not a single thing was missed. She got soaked and remained calm and collected throughout the whole day. We are forever grateful to Make My Day Events for literally thinking of EVERY DETAIL and helping make our day truly exceptional.

    My wedding was at my mother's club house near Bethany Beach, DE and she found Ashley at Make My Day Events. At first I was hesitant about a wedding planner but the first time meeting her I knew this was the best idea ever. Ashley is down to earth and so easy to work with. Throughout the entire planning process, Ashley was organized, attentive and resourceful. She listened to what we were envisioning, and really made sure that our wedding day was beautiful and perfect! During my first look photographs, I stepped on the bottom of my dress and made a hole. As soon as Ashley found out, she had her sewing kit and repaired my dress. She literally saved the day! I highly recommend Ashley at Make My Day Events. Ashley-Thanks again for an amazing day and the wedding of my dreams!

    I worked with Make My Day/ Ashley for my wedding in June. She was absolutely amazing!! I would definitely recommend her and her services to any bride in the DE area. I was an out of state bride so I needed a lot of help with planning. She was very helpful with recommendations for other vendors and was always there when I had questions/concerns. She was amazing the day of the wedding as well! Everything was on schedule to the very minute! She was also so helpful with random things that occurred on the wedding day- like moving a guest who was waiting outside our limo when I arrived to the ceremony, or getting a blue (tide) stain out of my dress the minute before I walked down the aisle! She was amazing and helped make our wedding day magical and stress-less.

    Ashley from Make My Day was a life saver! I don't know what I would have done without her. I knew what I wanted for my wedding and reception and she made it happen. When problems popped up, she was on them in an instant! I didn't have to worry about anything. She had so many awesome resources, I didn't have to search for anything. My wedding and reception were truly a dream come true and I owe it to Ashley!

    Leanne put us at ease that our engagement party was going to be amazing!! We had meetings that we could go over our personal taste and details, and then she made it all come together. I think the girls are very talented at what they do, and they know how to get the job done!! We got nothing but compliments from friends and family on the party.     Leanne was amazing in every aspect of our wedding planning process - we had the best, most perfect day ever and that was largely thanks to all of her hard work, coordination and dedication. We live in Washington DC but wanted to have our wedding near the DE shore where my parents have a summer home; for us, finding a wedding coordinator we could trust was critical since we'd be doing a lot of the planning from afar.

    Beyond our geographic distance during the wedding planning process, we also decided to be super ambitious and take a friend's farm that had never hosted an event before and transform it into our dream wedding for 230 guests. So, a bit more complex than selecting place settings and menus at a country club. Leanne helped us think through every detail of tents, lighting, restrooms, etc. and did so in a way that made us feel supported and heard throughout the process.

    I very much appreciated Leanne's approach where we were able to find/manage certain aspects of the process ourselves (for us, food and band were the two big ones) so that we weren't draining her time and adding to our overall costs there.

    Finally, as it relates to day-of, Leanne made sure everything for our entire wedding weekend went off without a flaw. She meticulously detailed every aspect of the weekend (in a 16+ page document!) from the Thursday welcome party at my parents through the full weekend of events and really went above and beyond to ensure that everything went exactly as planned, which was exactly how my husband and I had dreamed of our big day.

    Loved working with Leanne and Make My Day and strongly endorse their services! They have an acute attention to detail and awesome approach to customer service - and, as an added bonus, they happen to be really nice people who make the process fun!

    Casey was fantastic to work with throughout the planning process!! Both my fiance and I were thrilled with our wedding planner choice. She took our vision and made it come true and really gets to know her clients. On the wedding day both Casey and Leanne were great and made sure our day was worry free! I highly recommend them.

    Working with Leanne of Make My Day was an absolute pleasure, and the end result was a magical evening that exceeded all of our expectations. Leanne's vendor contacts enabled us to have the exact details we wanted and her organizational skills kept me the groom and all the vendors in line and on time.     These girls were THE BEST. Everything was flawless and my husband and I had the time of our lives. They took care of everything from set up of the room, to helping me adjust my dress countless times through out the night, making sure I stayed hydrated, and packing up my personal belongings to make sure they got home. I never had to lift a finger, I just partied.

    Casey and Make My Day truly made our wedding spectacular.
    The first day I walked into MMD, I had no idea if I even wanted to get married in Delaware. I expressed my wedding vision, and Casey knew right away the place for me. Without her, I never would have found Seacolt Beach House, which was a dream come true.

    From the beginning, Casey was organized and on top of all of my wants/needs. She was able to share her experience from past weddings at this venue and create layout and design plans that I never could have done alone. Her relationships with local vendors made it easy to find everything we needed.

    On the Day Of, the girls at Make My Day worked their butts off to ensure that everything went as planned, and without them, the day would not have been the same.

    I want to thank Casey & MMD from the bottom of my heart for making our wedding day one that we will remember forever!!!

    Leanne and Catherine did such a wonderful job for us! Not only did they make our entire event stress-free - managing all of our vendors for us, coordinating a flawless timeline, managing our rehearsal and ceremony, and perfecting our vision and design elements to a tee - but they also made us feel so excited about the wedding and like we were in good hands for the entire event. Our wedding would not have been even close to the same quality as it was without their help and we are forever grateful.

    The ladies at Make My Day were wonderful! They were so accommodating, friendly, prompt, organized, responsive and professional. People keeps asking me what went wrong on the big day because many brides have horror stories about things going wrong, and luckily i say that because of Make My Day, there wasn't anything I could complain about - it all went perfectly, just as planned!

    I know it may seem hard to believe that a wedding planner could be rated at 5/5. However, we had extremely high expectations for our beach wedding and Leanne and her team at Make My Day Event Planning exceded our expectations. We cannot imagine our wedding without Leanne's input, guidance, oversight, and amazing attention to detail.

    It was such a relief having Make My Day there to give advice, help find vendors and to offer their expertice. They are absolutely wonderful!!! As the mother of the bride, I was so stressed out when my daughter announced that she wanted to get married in Rehoboth since we live in Virginia. Leaane was a blessing! She was there for us every step of the way and she is so much fun to work with. I wish we could do it all over again! I can't say enough nice things about them.

    I can not imagine even trying to plan a wedding without Leanne and Casey.
    It has been 5 months since they planned our daughters' wedding and our friends are still commenting on what a perfect event it was. They are THE BEST and 5 out of 5 scale is not enough to adequately rate their skills!! I can not thank them enough!!!!

    Leanne and Make My Day did an unbelievable job for us. From day one of meeting with MMD we knew they had their act in order and wouldn't let us down. Throughout the planning process MMD were organized and professional and made a sometimes tough process easy and fun. The wedding day itself was awesome and exceeded our expectations greatly.     I used Make My Day Event Planning for my June 2010 wedding in Rehoboth Beach, DE. I had planned to do a great deal of DIY projects with my wedding, and needed someone who could help in the execution of my wedding day. But I have to say I received must more with Casey at MMD, not only did she excute flawlessly all my many projects on the day of my wedding but she was a great source of organization and support before my wedding. She was always quick with ideas for making my ideas even better or simplifying things to make them easier. I truly enjoyed working with her and her company. Working with Casey allowed me to have all the personal details incorporated in my wedding yet still have a truly relaxing and joyous day. I highlight recomment Make My Day Events.

    I love Make My Day, they were very helpful, they worked with in our budget and took all the wedding day worries off my hands so that it was a stress free day, I will continue to use them for years to come for big events and highly recommend this company.

    I started planning our wedding on my own, but after a few months of trying to organize meetings, schedules, work, etc. we hired Make My Day to help with our planning. We still wanted to be in control of most of the planning, but needed support and professionals to help when and where we needed it. We were married on a holiday (NYE '07) and couldn't have pulled off our wedding without MMD. In the weeks leading up to our wedding, we weren't stressed at all because we knew MMD had everything under control. Our wedding was beautiful, romantic and fun thanks to the help of Casey and Leanne. I wouldn't have planned a wedding without them!

    the absolute best money we spent for our wedding was with make my day event planning! the creativity, professionalism, and incredible attention to detail make them the experts in special events, bar none. i have also had the pleasure of working professionally with make my day on events such as fashion shows, and i am always absolutely blown away by the organization that these two possess. simply the BEST!

    Initially we didn't think we needed a planner, but then added Make My Day's help since the event was relatively unstructured, (at our house with dinner on the beach). Their help ended up making an unbelievable difference. We hired all the individual vendors ourselves, but then Leanne did an amazing job coordinating all their efforts for us. She is incredilby organized, professional, and fun to work with. We got much more than I had expected for the "day of" package! Then the beach got flooded on the day of the event and we literally couldn't have done it without them (and our caterer Nage, also terrific). The bottom line is that we only had one wedding day, and it was priceless to have someone much more experienced to help. When my sister got married the next year, she made sure Make My Day was available when choosing the date. I 100% recommend them!

    It was amazing working with Make My Day Event Planning. The service was excellent, Leanne and Casey were quick to respond to any of my questions (even if the questions and the time it took to answer the questions were not included in my wedding planning package). During my wedding reception was a small problem, that I didn't even know about until after the reception was over (big relief for me, they just look care of it). Excellent value, they went above and beyond what I paid for!!

    Leanna and Casey are AMAZING at their jobs; that's an understatement. They go above and beyond in every aspect and anticipate things not even considered. They do whatever it takes to make events perfect to the bride and grooms image. My husband and I were able to enjoy our wedding while Casey and Leanne executed the planning and coordination to perfection. They are two wonderful women to work with and we will recommend them to our friends and use their services again in the future.

    We could not have asked for anything more from our wedding planner Leanne! She absolutely exceeded our expectations. Our wedding day presented a LOT of challenges. Long story short, the weather caused us to have to change both our ceremony venue and our reception venue. Leanne not only made this happen in one day's time, she made it more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. I (the bride) put full confidence in her and she totally pulled it off. While I was off getting pampered, she handled every detail probably better than I ever could. I would recommend Leanne to anyone. She is the best!

    We live most of the time in Maryland with a house in Lewes. Our daughter's wedding was in Lewes, and I cannot imagine that we could have pulled everything together as well, or as inexpensively, without the help of Make My Day.

    Ashley Reynolds and the MMDEP team provided my husband and I with the “Day-Of” wedding package. As part of that package, Ashley created a wedding weekend timeline: a meticulous 20-page word document that outlined every hour of our wedding rehearsal and wedding day, detailing the flow of events that should occur at every hour. With my husband and I being self-admitted Type A personalities, we appreciated the specificity of the timeline, especially when Ashley informed us that she was no longer available to run our wedding. Instead, her 2 assistants (who received good reviews from other brides we contacted) would coordinate our wedding on Ashley’s behalf. Unfortunately, there seemed to be a sizable disconnect between Ashley and her team, and we were very disappointed with the service we received from them. The coordinators seemed extremely unprepared during our rehearsal and dropped the ball completely on our wedding day. Due to the low character limit on this website, I’m unfortunately unable to go into specific details, but the overall lack of communication, critical thinking and sense of urgency throughout our wedding day was a frustration to us, as well as our families. After the wedding, we provided Ashley our honest feedback and she quickly became defensive, justifying almost every error the coordinators made. She made us feel as though our expectations were set too high and that we were foolish to think that the timeline would translate from paper, into action. Ashley continually mentioned that our guests were unaware of the mistakes, as if it vindicated the coordinators' missteps. In reality, when the rain delayed the start of our beach ceremony, their lack of leadership & presence was apparent to everyone and has since been a topic of conversation from our guests. Our wedding day will always remain the best day of our lives (nothing can take away from it); however, the unsatisfactory level of service we received from MMDEP is what warrants a poor review.

    Extremely Disappointing

    I was very hopeful when I booked with Ashley, given that she had worked our venue before and was willing to customize our package and work with us on the things we needed, not the parts we didn't. The planning process was okay, but not what I was hoping for. I was quoted for florals and decor vendors that were way out of the budget I had set, waited long stretches of time to hear back from Ashley despite a pretty tight turnaround, and overall just felt like I was not a priority. None of the vendors that she referred me to ended up working for our vision and budget, so we had to do the heavy lifting ourselves to find a florist and photographer, and ended up eating the cost on table/linen rentals, which was fine.

    Ashley told us early on in the process that day of coordination would be with her "lead coordinator" and "assistant coordinator" who I did not meet until the day of the wedding. Both of these coordinators have full time jobs outside of event planning, and seemed to be doing the work with Ashley as more of a favor for a friend or hobby. The day of coordinators were not present at the wedding rehearsal, despite it being in our contract that there would be. The coordinators expected the groomsmen to do physical labor to set up for cocktail hour in their suits only a few hours before the wedding day, and then the two coordinators went off-site for lunch as the groomsmen were doing the work. Thankfully, the actual wedding ceremony went as smoothly as it possibly could, and was everything we dreamed of. However, the reception was where things got messy.

    Despite the fact that I gave detailed plan and requests ahead of time, there was a major breakdown in communication with the DJ and the caterers (not totally sure on whose end, but it is the coordinators job to coordinate), so our timeline during dinner was messed up. We had no champagne for our first toast, and the best man/maid of honor speeches came at the wrong time. Additionally, I used postcards (some of which I have been collecting for years) as the name tags at each persons seat, and they signed them as our guest book. The coordinators instructed the caterers to clear the tables and many of my postcards, which were personally selected for each guest, were thrown away with the food before people were able to sign their postcard. All of these details were in writing and clearly communicated with Ashley ahead of time, so it was really frustrating to see it all break down.

    Thankfully, my husband and I are very flexible and were fine to roll with the punches of the night, but I was extremely disappointed, especially given that aside from catering, they were by far our most expensive vendor. Additionally, I never received any follow up after the night of the wedding, which I suppose is not required, but it felt very bitter and unprofessional. There was lots of tension between myself & my family that could have been prevented, and I really wish that Ashley would have turned the work over to her coordinators in the first place, because it felt like they were not in the loop about anything. That being said, the two coordinators were very pleasant, and I imagine that with some more communication ahead of time, it would have run very smoothly.

    Overall, I would not recommend this vendor, and I will not be using Make My Day Events again.
