Amazing. Wonderful. Dream work

Let me begin by saying that my fiance and I were planning a destination wedding on the Big Island and I was referred to Danielle by the wedding coordinator I was working with. Danielle and I emailed back & forth since October or November 2019 and she was extremely professional and went above and beyond for us on our big day! She continually kept me in the loop throughout the process of a flower shipment not making it, but then going out of her way to make sure the flowers were there. I still felt as if I was one of her main priorities. She helped make the process so much easier for us! I would HIGHLY recommend Danielle to anyone looking for a professional, kind and efficient wedding florist, cake baker, and wedding decor!

She was a DREAM to work with

Let me begin by saying that my fiance and I were planning a destination wedding on the Big Island and I was referred to Danielle by a family friend. Danielle and I emailed back & forth since October 2019 and she was very diligent, professional and kind during my crazy times (and constant emails and questions)! She worked with me when it came to rescheduling our wedding not only once, but TWICE due to the pandemic. Did I mention that Danielle was also far into her pregancy while working together, and I had no idea until she mentioned it to me in passing ! I still felt as if I was one of her main priorities. She helped make the process so much easier for us, especially when I myself is not only an over-thinker, but was also trying to plan a wedding on an island we were unfamilier with. I would HIGHLY recommend Danielle to anyone looking for a professional, kind and efficient wedding planner!

Danielle is amazing !

I loved having Danielle ! She was so amazing throughout my entire experience. I reached out to her 3 years ago after I first got engaged ! She was recommended from my coworker, because her sister got married in Hawaii and had Danielle as her planner. So happy I went with her. She was so nice, flexible, accommodating, and she eased so much of my stresses from my destination wedding.

Above and beyond

Danielle went above and beyond decorating our wedding. From making my bouquet, corsages, table decorations, having coolers and other things to rent. Our wedding wouldn't have been nearly as nice if it wasn't for her! She was always available if i had any questions, or concerns. Cant recommend her enough, no one else I would use!

Put people above the business

I have emailed Danielle about my upcoming wedding and even though she was not available for the date, she went out of her way to help me and gave me the contacts of people and companies whom I was missing. I am very happy that I found her. She truly cares about her clients and she puts them above her business and profits. I wish she was available and I could work with her on the day of my wedding.

Mauna Kea Wedding

Danielle was amazing to work with, I could not have done this without all of her expertise, enthusiasm and professionalism! She was there every step of the way and incredibly helpful when we needed ideas for décor. She understands the current wedding trends and what it takes to put together a destination wedding. Not only did she coordinate all our vendors prior to the wedding and everything the day of, she also provided décor and made sure everything was in place and looked beautiful!
She went above and beyond to have meeting with us and suggest vendors when I was not satisfied (vendors I had selected before contracting with her). Working with Danielle was incredibly easy and fun! I felt like I was planning my wedding with a longtime friend, she understood and saw our vision. She was there no matter the time of day for a call, text or email and to ensure everything was going to be just perfect, and that it was.
The day of the wedding I had lost my voice and she brought me up some tea, which put all my stresses at ease. I knew she had it all taken care of and I had nothing to worry about. The day was perfect and my husband and I could not thank Danielle enough for all her hard work and time she put into making our wedding day so special and amazing!

Working with Danielle for my daughters seeet 15 event was an excellent experience. It was really easy putting ideas together. She executed my vision and then some. Working with Danielle was fun, easy, and pleasant! We moved to Kona about a year ago from San Francisco, CA, and since nearly 80% (out of 250) of our guests were coming from the mainland, we wanted to give our guests a very tropical, minimal, yet classy feel while visiting the island, and she nailed it. Our guests were WOW'd. We had two different venues - our ceremony on our church lawn (Living Stones Church) and our reception at a state park pavilion (Old Kona Airport Pavilion.) Our local guests who have been to many events at the Old Airport Pavilion told us they had never seen it look as beautiful as it did that night!! She is kind, respectful, and humble, always mindful of our budget and giving us plenty of options along the way. Prior to the wedding, she met me a couple times at the reception venue to take measurements and to scope out what she'd be working with. She did our bouquets, created an arch for the ceremony, photo booth backdrop, built curtains and drapes, went through the ends of the earth to get me 100 pineapples, and the cost was so reasonable! She was always available to us, and even with some last minute craziness, she made it effortless. We are so grateful for her and her team for helping make our wedding so, so, SO beautiful! Danielle was amazing! From our first meeting she helped me nail down a theme, colors, and over all feel of what our reception would be like. I am sometimes the worst at putting into words what I like and what I want. Danielle made it so easy. She would show me 2 different pictures on Pinterest and I'd say "I like them both" and she would say "it's ok. I know what you like about this one and I know what you like about that one. I can bring it all together!"
She definitely did just that! She brought it all together beautifully!! We loved it all!
She did our flowers, all decorations, handled the venue and all vendors, and even did our wedding cake!
In a time that could be very stressful, the planning was so peaceful thanks to Danielle. Thank you for all your hard work!

WOW!! Danielle is absolutely amazing at what she does. We planned a wedding in Hilo, HI all the way from Michigan but Danielle made it SO much easier to do so. My fiancé and I are both very indecisive people and she could definitely tell. Danielle gave us so many ideas and options to pick from which took so much stress off of our plates. Not only is she an amazing decorator- but a definite people person. Throughout the wedding process, she felt like a best friend- though much more creative than any of my actual friends.

She was also extremely communicative and flexible with us. We changed our minds on different decorations so many times but Danielle was always happy to oblige. We never had to wait for a response from her- which was especially surprising considering the 6 hour time difference. She was always 100% on top of her work.

Danielle created stunning centerpieces, table decorations, signs for our guests, etc. She set up everything to perfection- even the items that we provided ourselves. We didn't have to worry about a single decoration or any set-up items on the day of our wedding- which is most definitely a must when you should be enjoying your special day. We highly, highly, highly recommend Danielle to anyone and everyone!

I had a simple, intimate backyard wedding and Danielle designed and executed perfectly our dream wedding cake. Not only was it mouth watering DELICIOUS but it was picture ready and absolutely gorgeous! It was almost a shame to cut into it.....almost. We were happily eating leftover for days. Danielle is amazing to work with! Not only does she accommodate for what you want, but her eye for details and artistic touch just made everything so much more beautiful than what I had in mind! She is responsive, creative, works with your budget, and is such a kind and fun person to be around. If you need a positive person to help with the stress of wedding planning, she makes it a breeze. Danielle was simply AMAZING! I had to plan a wedding on a short notice from India! Stand out qualities for me were:
1. Responsive - Danielle would respond promptly to all questions and quote requests. She was willing to work within my tight budget and incorporate my ideas as well bringing in beautiful ideas of her own. This was especially important to me trying to plan a wedding from India with a 15 hour time difference between us!
2. Willingness to Help & flexibility - Danielle met me days before the wedding at our wedding venue and we changed our idea completely from using the indoor space to the Outdoor space! She was not phased at all! She understood that it was important to me.
3. Professionalism - I DID NOT HAVE TO MICROMANAGE! You cannot imagine what a relief it is as a Bride to NOT have to give any instructions on t he day of the wedding. All the rules of the church were adhered to, Danielle was like a mouse the day of the wedding! Setting up and clearing up inconspicuously. She was so professional that I had no worries at all!
4. Creative & Cost Saving - Where wedding costs can build up with tiny details like wanting colored napkins instead of white ones, Danielle helped me to shave costs from the venue by simply incorporating these types of details into her set-up. The decor was absolutely perfect. She thought of the table settings, floral arrangements and napkin colors! I didn't need to worry at all. I wanted to re-use the floral decorations the next day at a follow-up event, Danielle cleaned everything up, stored the flowers in a box so they wouldn't be crushed and simply instructed us to keep it in the A/C room! I can't tell you how much we saved just from re-using the floral decor!

The wedding was absolutely beautiful and a HUGE part of that was Danielle!

Danielle was the perfect hire for planning our Hawaiian wedding! Since I do not have a particular flare for creativity, I counted on her to make our day unique, beautiful and special for us and our guests! She is very patient, excited about everything she takes on, and I am happy to have made a friend through the process! I really put my trust in her, and was blown away when we showed up to the venue. Her attention to detail was impeccable, and took care of the setting up and tearing down of our private space. We had a gorgeous, small back yard wedding in June thanks to the help of Danielle! I never could have done it without her expertise. She completely understood my decor theme idea & made it better than I had imagined. She also made our cake. It was BEAUTIFUL, it held up, and it tasted great! In fact, my mother-in-law's last comment of the night was "gosh, that cake was really good".

Danielle helped me out with decorations, favors, flowers and cakes for my country wedding in September. We did a lot of our planning through Pinterest which really helped us share our vision of the event! She is easy to communicate with and always quick to answer questions and get back with info, which really helped us during our partial long-distance planning.
Our wedding cake and cupcakes were absolutely delicious, she is a truly talented baker. Danielle has a great eye for table decor, and our cake table looked especially amazing.
I love and share her "DIY rather than buy" attitude, which is not only makes for a personalized event, but is both economical and environmentally friendly. If you are the same way, she is the way to go!

Our wedding is in November 2015, and we are from Edmonton, AB. Planning a destination wedding can be very stressful, but Danielle has taken all the worry away. She always gets back to me promptly and has so many great ideas! She is making all of the decorations and flower arrangements for the wedding herself. I would highly recommend Danielle!

Danielle decorated a High Noon Tea Party I hosted at the Club at Hokuli'a and she did a fantastic job. All the guests commented on how beautiful the Pavilion looked and they loved the antique tea sets. Our dining area was transformed into a charming tea room! She did such a good job and was a delight to work with. I highly recommend Danielle and I look forward to working with her in the future.

Danielle did a great job helping with our wedding! Everything from the handmade table runners, and tinted mason jars, to the flower arrangements and desserts were wonderful. I could not have asked for a better person to arrange the decorations and cake for my wedding. Danielle was creative, patient, and an all-around joy to work with. I lived out of state and wasn't able to be there until less than a week before the wedding, so she did the vast majority of this work from a long distance. I'm not a very creative person myself, so she had to work with my vague ideas and lack of knowledge about anything decor related. I was stunned with how beautiful everything turned out the day of the wedding. It was far beyond anything I could have imagined, and we were beyond happy with all of it. We had decided to have cupcakes made for the reception (which everyone raved about), but Danielle went above and beyond and made a small cake for us to cut. She even made gorgeous bouquets for myself and bridesmaid. I would without a doubt recommend Danielle to any friends or family members planning a wedding or event in the future!

Our wedding cake and cupcakes for our guests wee out of this world crazy-delicious. Danielle provided us with a wonderful sampling/tasting prior to the event which really was a fun treat and helped us make the best choice.

Danielle's always prompt response, professionalism, design, and taste really helped baked the cake for our wedding and made our night that much more special.

Danielle with Make It Your Own is amazing! I'm all about DIY, but when you are the bride, you run out of time. I was able to show her a couple photos and explain my vision and she was able to create the perfect decor. She was also able to help with some personal requests for my bridesmaids. She saved my not only time, but money as well. I was able to purchase in bulk and she was able to create my themed wedding. When we renew our vows, I would definitely have her be a part of it.

I had her make my flowers for my wedding party bouquets. The bouquets were just what I wanted! I gave her an example of a few ideas I had and she blended them perfectly. My bridesmaids bouquets and my bouquet were stunning! She used beautiful lace to hold them together and some of them even had glitter sprayed on the flower petals to match the dresses. I would definitely recommend her for all wedding services. If I had known how beautiful the flowers would have been I would have had her make the centerpieces also instead of doing them myself.

Danielle did a wonderful job as the wedding planner, organizer, etc. for my daughter Ashley's wedding in Kona. She decorated the reception site and tables beautifully. She baked the wedding cake and it was fantastic as well as gorgeous. She arranged the flowers and took care of every detail. She is also extremely nice and easy to work with. Danielle was very friendly and helpful! The flower arrangements she made for the wedding were beautifully done. I was working with her and the bride on the day of to make sure everything was in place and everything went smoothly.
