a literal dream come true!

We had our wedding at the Carriage House a venue within Magnolia Plantation, and it was a literal dream come true. The communication between me and Amanda the wedding coordinator was frequent and clear- her responses were immediate. This made for a really easy planning process. Even though it rained and our ceremony had to be moved inside the venue was transitioned into such a beautiful space that I didn't even think twice that my original plan wasn't happening. The Carriage House underwent renovations last year and OMG the updates are just so perfect! Thank you so much Magnolia & Amanda for such an unforgettable night!

Dream Come True at Magnolia Gardens

From the moment we first visited Magnolia Gardens, we knew it was something special. Natasha was so warm and welcoming, instantly making us feel at ease and excited about the possibility of hosting our wedding there.

Our wedding day at Magnolia Gardens was truly a dream. The grounds were absolutely stunning, and we loved having the entire property to ourselves—it made the day feel so personal and relaxed. Our guests were blown away by the beauty of the venue, and our photos turned out better than we ever imagined.

Magnolia Gardens also holds a special place in my heart, as it was meaningful to my late father. I truly can’t imagine getting married anywhere else. Thank you for helping make our day so unforgettable—we highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for something truly magical.

Wonderful wedding planning experience

We got married at the Carriage House in May 2024 and had an absolutely wonderful time. The carriage house looked amazing with the most recent additions. All of the flowers were blooming and the trees were so stunning. Want to give a huge shoutout to the workers from Magnolia. They were super nice the day of the event, and took us to some of the best spots on the venue for our pictures. There were a few minor hiccups/items that we wish were different. (1) There was a lot of changeover with the event managers at Magnolia. We signed on with Magnolia 8 months leading up to our wedding, and we worked with three different managers in that time. It just made things a little difficult with communication. (2) We wish there were better signs from the parking lot to the carriage house on the day of the wedding. After parking their vehicles, a few guests had to ask around a few times to figure out where the carriage house is located. Other than those few minor items, we had a 5/5 experience.

Beautiful and romantic venue for wedding ceremony

My husband and I got married at Magnolia's last week, and it was perfect! We had our ceremony under "The Oaks," and turned out beautiful. Amanda was so helpful and kind throughout the planning process.

Great experience!

We loved having our wedding at the Carriage House! Amanda was incredibly helpful during our planning and made the process so easy for us.

Magnolia was very accommodating when we wanted to come check out the venue again with our planner a few weeks before the wedding (and then again with our parents).

The venue is beautiful year round and all of our guests loved it!

Connor & Alisha Pons Wedding August 14th, 2021

Connor and I got married at “The Pavilion” on August 14th, 2021. Very beautiful place and the venue price was very affordable. You can’t find a view like this anywhere else. Amanda Hewitt helped us out and was very responsive. This is the perfect wedding venue and a evening we will never forget…Thank you Magnolia Plantation and Gardens!

Fairy tale wedding

Had my fairytale wedding at the Carriage House. Vendors familiar with it and new ones found it to be vendor friendly. Guests keep telling me how beautiful it was; and my wedding was 7 months ago!

The perfect venue for the perfect night

We had an amazing time renting the Carriage House for our recent wedding on August 3rd. Their staff was always willing to allow me to come and share the venue before hand with friends and family and let us into the gardens for free when we visited. The onsite bridal suite was perfect for my bridesmaids and I to get ready in and the grounds were the perfect backdrop for our big day! Everyone was in awe of our venue and how beautiful it all came together!

Breath taking

My husband and I got engaged October ‘18 and wanted to be outdoors preferably Charleston under a tree. December ‘18 was our wedding date. Magnolia Plantation was the perfect place for our small wedding & worked with us quickly to ensure everything went PERFECTLY!

Can’t wait to go back and visit! It also gave our guests something to do during the day with all the tours and animals that the plantation has!

Loved our Carriage House wedding!

This venue was exactly what we envisioned for our wedding. The grounds are breathtaking and the carriage house is beautiful and homey at the same time. We had terrible storms on our wedding day and were so thankful to have chosen the carriage house. We had the options of moving the ceremony to the porch or inside, we chose inside and it was a beautiful, intimate ceremony. We had about 70 people at our wedding and the space was setup to feel intimate but not empty. We were still able to take advantage of the grounds and walked around in the rain for some fun and amazing pictures. Leanza was great to work with throughout the process, always responsive to our random questions.

Amazing!

We had a such wonderful experience at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens! We were planning our wedding from Philadelphia, and couldn't ask for more a helpful team to work with throughout the planning process. From our initial tour of the entire plantation and venue space, we had a great experience on site and with the staff. The Magnolia team provided us with an amazing list of vendors who were familiar with the venue, and were there to provide more recommendations along the way. When we decided to book the Carriage House for our wedding, we were happy to find out that an outdoor ceremony site was also included, as well as use of the entire plantation for photos, and a bridal suite. We got married on the grounds of the Carriage House this past October and couldn't have asked for a more picture perfect day. The grounds provide such an AMAZING backdrop for photographs and a wedding ceremony! We are so overwhelmed thinking back to how beautiful our wedding was.

We eloped with just us and our two girls but the plantation staff still pulled out all the stops! Each spot is more beautiful than the next on the plantation so you can’t go wrong with location or pictures. Beautiful bridal suit also made getting ready convenient and fun!

I had my wedding at Magnolia Plantation at their Veranda location and COULD NOT HAVE BEEN HAPPIER! The location is one you won't get anywhere else. I was planning a destination wedding and immediately fell INLOVE with the venue upon visiting. Simply put, it's gorgeous, myself and my guests were blown away. Even with the rain, my day could not have been anymore perfect! Even when taking pictures Leanza helped drive us around on their trolley which I was not expecting! I don't think you can get a more beautiful venue in Charleston (and at a very reasonable price!)

Words can’t express how amazing our wedding was and how wonderful the experience was working with Magnolia Plantation and Gardens!!! Our wedding and photos look like we came out of a fairytale and the photos and ambiance you can’t get anywhere else! I am so overwhelmed thinking back to how beautiful our wedding was. We were lucky enough to have the Azaleas in bloom which was incredible, but what is so nice about this venue is that rain or shine the pictures will look incredible! I worked with Leanza a lot and she was amazing to work with and helped accommodate our wedding beyond what I could have imagined! I can’t recommend Magnolia Plantation enough!!!

We couldn't have made a better selection for a venue! Magnolia Plantation was the most beautiful venue we toured and we knew we had to have it the moment we saw it. I was stressed about planning a destination wedding but everything turned out amazing!

Edson and I just had our wedding at the Carriage house on Sunday! We LOVED THE VENUE! Our guests were in awe! We loved the interior of the Carriage House and being alongside the Ashley River with the torches lit at night! The venue itself is beautiful and a dream come true! Magnolia Plantation was exactly what I was looking for in a wedding venue - romantic, lush, and full of natural beauty. It was the first venue we visited, and it was an immediate decision. We chose the carriage house for the rustic feel of the indoor area and gorgeous lawn with the iconic oaks and spanish moss. We even had some peacocks join the party, which were a huge hit. The bridal suite was a great convenience, as well as being able to ride on the golf cart for different photo locations. Our guests also got to have free admission to the Gardens throughout the whole wedding weekend, which is nice for out of town guests. If you are considering the Carriage House, just know that you will have to bring in everything separately - tables, chairs, decorations, catering, day-of-coordinator - which took more coordination but for us was totally worth it! I am so happy that I went with my gut and had my perfect wedding at Magnolia Plantation.

I absolutely loved working with Magnolia Plantation. Their whole staff was friendly, professional and made sure everything was perfect for the day of. One of their maintenance staff was willing to hang some last minute Spanish moss from the chandeliers and drove us wherever our photographer wanted to take wedding photos at. He even suggested spots that we didn't know about. It was a great experience and Magnolia will always hold a special place in our hearts because of it. It was about $3,000 for our March 2016 wedding at 10 am.

Amazing venue!! Breathtaking scenery and friendly staff! Our fairytale came to life when we chose Magnolia as our place to say "i do!" It truly is one of the most romantic places on earth! The azaleas and gorgeous mossy oaks make a picture perfect backdrop, not to mention the gorgeous bridges for photos! Thank you for the memories and a lifetime destination that we will visit annually!

One of the most important decisions you make, and we couldn't have picked a better venue. They were so great to work with and it could not have been a more beautiful venue. Also made for great pictures. I would advise booking this venue right away as their availability is limited.

Probably the most beautiful place in the Lowcountry. My daughters wedding was magical and breathtakingly gorgeous. Staff was friendly and super helpful. Everything went off without a problem.

My husband and I were married at the Carriage House last month. The setting could not have been more beautiful. It provides the feel of an intimate ceremony but has the space for over 100 people. We loved that our ceremony and reception was all in one place too! We had more time to spend with our guests this way. Awesome venue - highly recommend to anyone!

Magnolia Plantation and Gardens is everything and more! When I got engaged I searched several venues but my heart always led me back to Magnolia Plantation. As soon as we were able to tour the different sites on Magnolia we were both sold. Both Cindy and Leanzea are so helpful and the grounds are simply gorgeous!! My fiancé and I cannot wait to get married under the beautiful oaks next to the Carriage House!

Magnolia's carriage house was the perfect venue for our out of town wedding. We visited in the spring to see a few venues in Charleston and Magnolia definitely stood out as our favorite. Choosing between the carriage house and the conservatory was tough because they are both gorgeous. In the end, the carriage house was the right choice. We had an al fresco reception under the big oak tree with twinkling string lights and it was absolutely magical. The venue is just so versatile! The staff was also great and super helpful.

The venue is as beautiful as you could possibly imagine. No additional services are included (catering/planning/lighting/etc) but as far as a beautiful scenery, you will never find anything better. It's reasonably priced (although I think prices are going up) and it's unique. I had my wedding in front of the white bridge and the reception was on the veranda. There is a tiny set up window so not much decorating can really be done. We couldn't start setting up until 3 with a wedding start time of 5. The mosquitoes were out of hand due to Hurricane Matthew but we had someone come spray the ground to help and brought tons of bug spray. Also, understandably there a quite a few rules about what you can use and not use at the wedding. (after all it is a historical sight and a public garden). Overall, the staff was helpful and very easy to work with. The pictures are beyond gorgeous and if I could do it again, I'd do it the same. We came all of the way from Arkansas to get married here and it was truly a fairy tale wedding.

My husband and I eloped to Charleston, SC from Canada this past September and chose Magnolia Plantation and Gardens as our ceremony venue. The staff were SO accommodating and welcoming and the plantation is absolutely breathtaking, even in the pouring rain! We had a wonderful time exploring the beautiful grounds while having our photos taken here and couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.

I absolutely love this plantation! We were lucky and had the plantation to our selves the day of our wedding and were able to go to some beautiful locations on the property for pictures. Magnolia Plantation was the perfect spot for our destination wedding! Leanza and her staff were so helpful with everything and made it an ease to plan from such a long distance. We planned on having our ceremony and reception at the Veranda house but it was POURING rain on our wedding day! They worked with our event planner and helped move to location to the carriage house. Although this was not the venue I wanted and had envisioned, it was beautiful. I cannot say enough good things about how great they were to work with. After the ceremony Richard was SOOO kind and took us around in the rain on a golf cart to anywhere we wanted to go for pictures. He helped move picnic tables around for picture purposes and was so patient. This man deserves a medal for his hard work! All in all it was lovely and I would recommend it to anyone!

There is nothing else to say except that Magnolia is THE PERFECT venue for a wedding in the Charleston area! It is quintessential Charleston plantation!!
We held our reception at the Conservatory. Our intimate party thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful grounds and greenhouse.
The grounds are brightly colored, clean, and full of life! The staff at Magnolia is friendly and helpful. The cost of the venue rental is very inexpensive and includes the teak table and chairs!
This venue also lends itself to some gorgeous photography! Richard Bell Photography s the premier photographer for this venue. They know the area well and are just the absolute best at what they do!
Cruz Coordinators is invaluable at this venue as well, as owner, Jessica Cruz, used to be the event coordinator at Magnolia!

Highly recommend this venue!

Leanza was absolutely amazing to work with. I planned my wedding from Boston, MA and picked this location without even visiting Charleston before, brave I know. I visited 3 weeks before the wedding date and Leanza showed me around and we had a tour of the gardens. This place is absolutely beautiful and they were so helpful. I had the Conservatory venue which is the cheapest but my favorite by far. Absolutely beautiful inside and the plants inside give you a sense of getting away from it all. We had 60 people total and we all fit comfortably. We had our ceremony on the lawn and I even used the bridal suite which was beautiful and so fun. For the picture shoot we rode around on the golf cart with Magnolia Staff and they were amazing and so helpful (I wish I knew his name). The gold cart tour was seriously one of my highlights. It was a chilly night and they put out heaters on the deck to warm us up without us even asking for them, seriously they were AMAZING!

Magnolia plantation is where I had my July 2015 destination wedding and it could not have been a more perfect location! The site itself was absolutely breathtaking, it met all of my criteria in a venue. i had my wedding at the carriage house, lucky for me it was hot but a beautiful day! my whole life I've always wanted an outdoor ceremony on the water and be able to have the reception indoors. This location was able to give me all of those thing! We said our vows under the most beautiful old oak tree that were all dripping with Spanish moss right on the Ashley River. When we finished the guests could walk straight into the carriage house to cool off and begin our night of fun! It even had enough room to accommodate a nice size wedding! We had about 100 guests with it being out of town but I believe there was enough room for around 150 at this location! My guests were all blown away by the sheer beauty of the venue. The whole location was the epitome of southern charm and was truly the most romantic setting for the most romantic day of my life. I would not have changed a thing and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

From the first time I walked up to Carriage House at Magnolia Plantation, I knew it was the perfect venue for my wedding. The lawn is gorgeous, it is right on the Ashley River, and the carriage house is beautiful inside! All my guests absolutely loved our venue. They were able to go on the lawn and play corn hole, they could sit on the back patio near the fire pit and make a s'more, or they could be inside and dance, socialize, or just sit and relax. Also, the carriage house gave me the ability to come up with my own design for my wedding. I was able to pick the types of tables, chairs, draping, and decor I wanted for my day! I have seen so many pictures of weddings at the carriage house and they all have different designs, but every single one is gorgeous. Additionally, there are so many places near the carriage house that are perfect for pictures. My fiance and I did our first look on the red bridge which is a short walk from the carriage house and the pictures turned about amazing!! I would definitely recommend Magnolia Plantation!

We just got married on 11.29.2015 at the Carriage House on the property. It was so stunning that the photos looked unreal and like they were out of a fairytale. The carriage house is set back on the banks of the Ashley river which is so charming. Leanza was the on site Event Manager and was so wonderful, helpful and accommodating. Weather was so wonderful, sunny and 75 by day and low 60s in the evening!

I had my March 2015 wedding at their conservatory and it was the most magical venue. Teak wood tables and chairs are included in the price and the tropical floral indoors and beautiful vistas and pond outside made it feel like something out of a fairy tale. The deck outside was a perfect size for our DJ and dance space under the stars. If you are having a smaller sized group for your wedding, BOOK THIS SPACE! I couldn't have been happier!

My husband and I found Magnolia Plantation online while looking for wedding venues in the Charleston area. We were blown away by the pictures, and booked it for our wedding without ever visiting in person. This turned out to be a good gamble because this is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. We chose the Veranda/white bridge lawn for our specific location. While we were originally worried that we did not have a rain plan, the Veranda is wide enough to host both a wedding ceremony and reception while keeping guests covered from rain. Also, the bride gets to walk over a gorgeous white bridge prior to walking down the aisle, which was one of the coolest things I have ever done.

We held our wedding on May 21, 2015 at Magnolia Plantation. We rented the lawn adjacent to the long white bridge and the veranda of the Plantation house, What a wonderful and romantic setting for a wedding. We loved everything about our evening and all our guests just raved about Magnolia. The grounds were in great shape, some azaleas were still in bloom, and there was a nice breeze on the veranda throughout the reception and dinner. We have visited all the plantations in the Charleston area but picked Magnolia because it best fit our style, price point, and because of the wide variety of unique options it provides for wedding photographs. We highly recommend Magnolia Plantations and Gardens for anyone getting married in the Charleston, SC area.

We were planning a destination wedding in Charleston, and went with the Magnolia Plantation- Conservatory simply based on the website photos. When we finally visited a few days before the wedding, it exceeded all our expectations. The flowers, trees, the river...it was gorgeous. We strung lights outside above the deck and had a live band, and it was a dream wedding. We had our daughter's wedding and reception at the Magnolia Plantation Carriage House. The wedding was on the lawn with the Ashley River in the background, and the reception was in the Carriage House. The entire event was absolutely perfect, the weather was glorious, and the setting at Magnolia was spectacular. It was exactly the wedding that my daughter had hoped for.

Jessica and her staff were a total pleasure to deal with in every way. As the Event Director at Magnolia, Jessica exudes professionalism. She is very responsive to emails, and is always able and willing to answer all questions and address all concerns with graciousness and patience. She has a good working relationship with the major vendors in the Charleston area, and that greatly simplifies setting up for the event. It was very reassuring to work with her.

I would recommend Magnolia without reservation to anyone considering a wedding in the Charleston area.

My husband and I are not from Charleston, so when we chose Magnolia Planation & Gardens just by online photos alone, we knew it would be even more beautiful in person. I worked with Jessica Cruz, who made planning our ceremony and reception super easy.

Originally we had chosen the conservatory for our reception, but once we saw the veranda and white bridge lawn in person, we changed our plans. Jessica was super accommodating in making this happen! She also worked really well with my planner, and between the two of them I had nothing to worry about on our big day.

Such a beautiful venue and setting for a classic Charleston plantation wedding! The weather and venue were perfect and the staff were wonderful to work with. We also had the opportunity to be driven around in their golf cart for pics on the grounds after the ceremony. We loved having the indoor/outdoor location of the carriage house and lawn and didn't have to rent any extra tents! It was also perfect to have the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all within the same area to avoid travel for our guests.

We were so happy that we chose to get married here. The moment we went there to look for our reception we knew it was the "one". Perfect venue for a rustic/theme wedding. It's like a blank canvass that you get to paint what you love! The Carriage House is beautiful. We are very happy that our guests enjoyed our special day as much as we did. Magnolia Plantation and Gardens was a stunning venue for our ceremony and reception.

Jessica Cruz, the even coordinator there was nothing short of spectacular. She was very responsive, insightful, professional, sweet, and helpful. She pointed us in the right direction with vendors and provided honest feedback while we were in the process of hiring vendors. We were so grateful for her valuable input.

The only downfall for us was choosing what venue at the Plantation to host our wedding at due to some photo restrictions. We ended up choosing the Carriage House knowing that we would not be able to take a picture on their iconic white bride if there was another wedding held at the Veranda (which there was). We actually were not able to go to a few places we wanted to take pictures at because we were told it might be too close to the other venue which was disappointing. If you can get past that compromise the Carriage House is a wonderful place to host a wedding.

This venue is absolutely gorgeous! Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the grounds were.

Jessica Cruz, our Event Sales Manager, could not have been more helpful throughout our wedding process. I was an out-of-town bride and she was more than happy to give me helpful tips on how to choose a caterer and other vendors.

We had our wedding on the Carriage House lawn and then moved inside the Carriage House for the reception. The setting underneath the live oaks and alongside the Ashley River couldn't have been more perfect. The Carriage House has the perfect mix of elegance and rustic beauty.

I was thrilled to find out that our wedding guests had free admission to the gardens (excluding a few tours) the weekend of our wedding!

I would definitely suggest this venue to any bride and groom looking for venues. Definitely book early. I booked the Carriage House a little over a year in advance and there were only a few dates left in the Fall.

I highly recommend Magnolia Plantation as a wedding venue. Jessica is very organized and was a pleasure to work with to plan our wedding ceremony at the Conservatory Garden. The guests were completely charmed by the space, which was the perfect setting for our day.

Even when the weather was less than perfect, Jessica and her team were very accommodating and flexible. We knew we were in good hands! Magnolia is beautiful at every angle, and we truly impressed our friends and family visiting from out of the country and state!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Carriage House at Magnolia and it was such a perfect day! The ceremony was outside on the lawn next to the river and although it was hot (of course since it was August) the site was beautiful. The reception was inside the Carriage House (air conditioned) which has a bit of a rustic elegant feel to it which fit our plans for the reception design perfectly! Jessica Cruz (the coordinator of venue rentals at Magnolia) was wonderfully helpful with lots of information when you book and always available to answer questions by email. They don't have tables or chairs available at the venue but this allows you to rent whatever kind of tables you want. Of course the plantation and gardens offers many gorgeous locations for photos which we took full advantage of with our photographer after our ceremony!

Jessica was very helpful. We were able to go visit whenever we needed. Also Jessica gave great ideas to decorate and great vendor recommendations. Magnolia was very pretty. Also it was easy for guest to locate the wedding.

Magnolia Plantation was a perfect place for my daughter's romantic, vintage wedding in July. It is absolutely gorgeous, has a wonderful bridal suite and a huge Carriage House for the reception. Jessica was very easy to work with, was prompt with communication and was very professional. Even though the vendors that we used had to be approved by the Plantation, they gave us plenty of options to choose from. This venue is absolutely amazing and I would definitely recommend them! I also loved the fact that our guests were allowed free admission to the plantation during the weekend of the wedding - what a nice perk!

We booked our ceremony and reception at the Carriage House and it was absolutely perfect. Any time I had a question or needed assistance with anything at all, Jessica was quick to respond and very helpful. The weather was great and our guests had amazing time, I would recommend this location to anyone!

My daughter and son-in-law had their June 8th wedding in the Carriage House at Magnolia Plantation. Working with their Events Manager, Jessica Cruz, had already been a delight but when rain required the ceremony to be moved inside, I can't begin to express my appreciation for the great job Jessica did. Always professional, confident and calm, Jessica (with the manpower of our groomsmen), transformed the venue to a beautiful ceremonial site by moving tables to the sides and creating an alter with seating for guests. The rain stopped as the ceremony concluded and Magnolia became the backdrop to gorgeous pictures of the bride and groom. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue for a wedding or any special occasion!

From my first visit to Magnolia with my now husband, Kevin, I fell in love with the beauty and charm of the plantation and grounds. We met with Jessica Cruz who showed us all of the venue options and advised us on what would be the best choice based on what we wanted and the size of our wedding and reception. She also gave us a folder with all of the venue rental information and contract along with a packet of vendor information for us to look through as well. Very helpful with our process! We went back home (destination wedding, lived in Illinois) and talked to our parents. We visited again in July with my parents and Jessica met with us again to show us around our chosen venue. My parents loved it as well. Throughout the whole process, Jessica was very prompt to answer any questions I had and all of my numerous emails. She even designed our floor layout for the reception and sent that on to our caterer. The wedding day was perfect and Jessica had everything ready for us when we arrived, even though I arrived earlier than I had originally planned. Magnolia plantation was an absolutely magical backdrop for our low country wedding! Jessica Cruz was our point of contact and she was incredible to work with. She offered suggestions on vendors, was willing to meet with us on multiple occasions, responded to countless emails, and was even out in rain boots helping set up during a downpour on our wedding day! She truly exceeded my expectations and helped make our wedding day a success!

Magnolia Plantation was the perfect venue for our April 4th wedding! The day could not have been more beautiful and gone more smoothly. Our day of coordinator was Margaret Mckenzie who was absolutely amazing, the wedding would not have been a success without her guidance, support and help with even the smallest details. On our wedding day, she was with us from start to finish, she kept our wedding on track and took care of everything, we didn't have to worry about anything she had it covered.
Margaret was truly amazing to work with she went above and beyond the "normal" day of coordinator she met with us on an almost weekly basis two months out from our wedding day to help us with last minute details while staying within our budget!It was through her planning, organization and guidance that we were able to get everything in place for the wedding day. If you are looking for a wedding planner or day of coordinator I would recommend Margaret Mckenzie. she will guide you through your wedding details and to do's , help you stay within budget and create the perfect wedding day free of stress!

Jessica helped us from the moment we expressed interest of booking Magnolia as our venue. We had our wedding on the dock next to the Carriage House with reception following. Jessica scheduled time with us to show us the venue and explore all other options at Magnolia. She was extremely helpful and answered every question immediately. The venue is gorgeous and the staff was truly helpful. Also, all our guests were from out of town and we thought it was wonderful that Magnolia granted them free general admission on the days before/after the wedding so they could take their time enjoying the Plantation. We loved everything about this venue!

Magnolia was phenomenal! I called a year and a half in advance and got the date I wanted by a hair so call early. It rained on our wedding so we went inside and it was STILL beautiful. Jessica is really flexible and leaves you alone with how you want to use the space. It is really great the way she leaves it up to you. I recommend getting a day of coordinator because it is hard to plan a wedding for this venue- it comes with nothing, tables, etc. If you go with this venue choose Royal Grande catering!

This venue is absolutely gorgeous and the event manager is so friendly and helpful! Our wedding was in the Conservatory and School House Lawn and our guests were absolutely gaga over the beautiful grounds. It is the perfect beautiful and intimate venue for a smallish gathering of 70 to 75 people.

The support crew at Magnolia were so professional about giving advice and handling all types of situations: carting my 92yo-grandfather to the ceremony, helping guide my decisions on lighting and rainy weather contingencies, giving advice about good vendors, and even providing layout documents to help us plan seating and other elements. This is an unforgettably beautiful venue that really knows weddings!

Jessica and the team at Magnolia Plantation was amazing while planning my wedding. She was always helpful and responsive when I had questions or needed anything. She provided me with a packet of recommended vendors when we booked the venue and it was extremely helpful. The caterer needed to be chosen from a list of preferred vendors (which turned out amazing) but the rest were recommendations on everything from florists to DJ's to officiants and we pretty much found all of our vendors as a result of this listing and every one of the was perfect. The venue itself was beautiful and perfect for a ceremony + reception plus extremely affordable for such an amazing place.

What an absolutely beautiful place to get married! My friends were married this past weekend on the Long White Bridge Lawn by the Plantation House and the setting was just so picturesque. The wedding was perfect and I'm so happy that they will have such wonderful photos of their special day. How could you not with a place like this?! Thanks to Jessica and Richard for their help.

I got married at the carriage house last month and it was exactly what we hoped for. Jessica, the event manager, is amazing! She was more like a wedding planner. She was out there the day of decorating and setting up. It all turned out absolutely perfect!!!! We loved it!

My daughter was married at the Carriage House March 28th, 2014 and we could not have found a more beautiful location to have our ceremony and reception. We had to have the ceremony inside but the interior of the carriage house gave such a wonderful backdrop for the ceremony. We had about 90 people inside for the wedding and reception with plenty of room for our food stations, bar, cake table and room to mingle and dance

Carriage House at Magnolia Plantation. What an incredible venue overlooking the Ashley River! The Carriage House comes empty like a blank canvas allowing your own touches making your wedding or whatever celebration special. There is heat as well as air conditioning, kitchen for caterers, and rest rooms. Our planner provided beautiful lighting, flowers, tables and plenty of room for a dance floor and band or DJ. The plantation is very accommodating and allows your guests to obtain free entrance to the gardens over the weekend of your event. Absolutely beautiful over the Spring and Summer months. Known as America's oldest garden established in 1676.

This venue is so gorgeous and really allowed me to have my dream wedding. They are professional and will work with you to make your day perfect. Even if you don't have an event here, it should be on your bucket list of places to visit. My wedding guests are already planning trips to go back and visit.

We had our wedding at the carriage house and it was perfect! Luckily the weather was beautiful and we had the ceremony outside by the water. We had about 130 guests and there was plenty of room. We opted to have the fire pit at torches lit and by nightfall it was gorgeous outside. Jessica was so helpful and responded to my emails within 24hrs. The ground are gorgeous and perfect for taking pictures! They were able to provide us with a golf cart to take us around and take photos. Don't skip the white bridge, it is the perfect photo op!

I absolutely loved having my wedding here!! I knew from the moment I moved to charleston in 2004 that I would get married here at the carriage house! I never even went and saw another venue!! Jessica the property manager was soo beyond kind and helped in anyway she possibly could down to coming out there the day before the wedding for the rehearsal and giving us a run down due to our efficient running late and I did not have a wedding planner!! The carriage house was a beautiful sight the night of my wedding and I couldn't have asked for a more hands on and caring person to help me plan my big day!! It ended up raining all day the day of my wedding and so the ceremony had to be moved inside but jessica was there encouraging me not to be upset the whole time with her kind words! I loved magnolia plantation and they made me day so much more amazing!!! THANK YOU!!

As soon as we saw photos of Magnolia Plantation online we loved it. We booked the venue without even touring it due to living in Charlotte, NC and it was one of the best decisions we made. The property is absolutely gorgeous! There are so many places to take stunning photos. We even had our engagements photos done here. Our guests loved it so much from the beginning with the dramatic drapes trees as you enter the plantation. We had many say they are going back to view the rest of the property. We love Magnolia and the Carriage House was ideal for us. Perfection!
