Simply stated, the best!
I can’t recommend Magnolia Grill Catering enough! The whole team were kind, responsive, and a joy at our daughter’s wedding! And the food was AMAZING! We have had many people tell us how impressed they were with the food! The staff took extra care of the bride and groom during the reception and even packed a “to-go box” for after the wedding. They handled our food for cocktail hour, dinner, and helped cut up and serve the cake. Highly recommend! Simply stated, the best!

Amazing Caters
Never will be enough words to describe the Service that Magnolia Grill gave for my daughter's wedding On May 25, 2025. In the pouring rain, with streets flooding, and change of plans completely. They served with a smile while rain was falling on their heads. And OMG the food was Fantastic! Everything from the charcuterie board (which was just as beautiful as tasty) to the BBQ meatballs, and the Perfect Bruschetta! My daughter was so Happy! And the guests raved about portion size.

Wonderful wedding caterer!
I rarely write online reviews, but wanted to give a shout out to Magnolia Grill Catering. We had a small wedding (40 people) at my home on Tybee Island on 10-19-24. Magnolia Grill was wonderful to work with from start to finish. Suzanne was easy to communicate with when planning the event and choosing a menu - very personable and always responded to my questions with helpful recommendations. We decided on food "stations" and chose the shrimp and grits, slider bar and street taco bar. Everyone raved about the food - particularly the shrimp and grits - and the beautiful setup. Gabby was the lead on the day of the event and she and her crew were so easy to work with. Working with Magnolia Grill was so simple, I was concerned that I must be missing something. :-) We also ordered brunch items (quiche, pastries/muffins, breakfast casserole and fruit) that were delivered the day of the wedding that we could heat up the next morning for a group of around 25. It was nice to see everyone the day after the wedding for some good food and a casual recap of the big event. Thank you to everyone at MG for helping make my wedding weekend a success!

Simply the BEST!
We hired Magnolia Grill Catering for our daughter's March 2022 wedding in Savannah. Mark & Corie were wonderful to work with. The food was great and the arrangement was beautiful. Several guests complimented the food during and after the wedding. As the mother of the bride, it was nice to know we were in good hands and didn't have to worry about anything food related. They handled our food for cocktail hour, dinner, and helped cut up and serve the cake. Highly recommend!

For our reception dinner, we hired Magnolia Grill to cater a heavy hors d'oeuvres buffet. We went with hors d'oeuvres so that we could have a variety of options to satisfy all of our guests' dietary restrictions and preferences. We ended up with around a dozen different dishes, and every one was a hit! Also, food was served hot and on-time, so dinner fit perfectly into our overall schedule.
Besides delicious food, our catering team went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. During dinner, a member of the catering team frequently dropped by our table to take mine and my wife's orders and bring us plates, ensuring that we got enough to eat. However, my appetite was suppressed by all the excitement, so I asked for a couple of to-go plates at the end of the reception. In response, they gave me two full catering trays of leftovers! Talk about a late-night snack.
Bottom line, if you want great food and great service, you won't go wrong with Magnolia Grill.

Delicious food with great attentive service!
Corie was great to work with and very flexible with our changes. The food was delicious and all of our guests agreed. The flaming donuts were a hit as well! We highly recommended using them and we plan to continue to support their restaurant in Richmond Hill, Bubba’s Bistro!

Magnolia Grill was an absolute dream to work with. From start to finish of our process we receive excellent customer service! We picked up our food to set up ourselves and they had everything ready to go for easy set up. The food was AHHHMAZING, all our guest bragged about how wonderful it all was. Let me recommend the shrimp and grits first and foremost, it was the best we’ve ever had! Top delicious food with impeccable, timely, friendly service and you’ve got Magnolia Grill. I’m an event planner and have dealt with SO many caterers. An unorthodox wedding dream come true
I always pictured myself with a beer in one hand and a slice of pizza in the other on my wedding day. We had fresh pizza made on site with a beautiful pasta and salad bar. Everyone loved the idea, because who doesn't love pizza right! Everything tasted so great and we couldn't have been happier with our decision.

We used Magnolia Grill for catering for our July wedding and it was AWESOME. Corie was great to work with and super helpful and responsive during the whole process. We were able to go in for a private tasting before booking. Corie worked with our budget needs and was very accommodating and flexible by providing us many options. Our guests were raving about the food. Corie's team made us "to-go plates" to take with us when we left the reception, which was great because of course we were too busy to sit down and enjoy the food. Highly recommend!

Our food was so delicious I'm still thinking about it! Corie and her team did a wonderful job preparing our food, including cooking our Low Country Boil on site so it would be extra fresh for our guests. They were kind enough to make a few vegetarian options for our guest and were excited to make some mini King Cakes as one of our mini desserts even though it was not an item on their menu. Several members of their team checked in on my husband and I to be sure we had enough to eat and drink during the evening. Everyone we spoke with loved the menu and we couldn't be happier with their superior customer service and genuine kindness.

The food was absolutely amazing! The appetizers were wonderful and they worked with our dietary needs without giving up our wants. Our guests raved about the food and it was layed out well in the space. The shrimp and grits were my favorite!! “Best food I’ve had at a wedding” is what all of our guests said and we couldn’t agree more. Magnolia Grill Catering creates the most delicious dishes. Where do I start? Just by reading the reviews I knew i wanted Magnolia Grill to be our wedding caterer. I was planning a destination wedding so all communication was via phone and email which Corie is excellent at getting back to me and answering all my questions I would forget after we had a phone call. We set up a tasting during a visit to Savannah and Corie was just as personable as she was in emails and phone. Everything was delicious!! My husband and I consider ourselves “foodies” and serving amazing food was a big priority at our wedding. They were flexible with suggestions and requests too. I have a nut allergy so she was able to modify some of the ingredients and helped me with my menu planning to ensure we had a good balance of everything for everyone (including my vegan guests). The whole process working with this vendor I felt confident in my decision and enjoyed working with Corie. And come our wedding night, my expectations were not let down. The food was amazing and everyone raved how good it was...”best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had”. She also was a huge help in last minute providing me with pie stands/display and accommodating gluten free bread on our grilled cheese station. You will not be disappointed!! We hired Magnolia Grill for our destination wedding in Savannah and I could not be more pleased. The menu was so easy to customize and reasonably priced. I had people stopping me all night to RAVE about the food. I was told Magnolia's specialty was their shrimp and grits. I'm very picky about this dish. They seriously are to die for. Since my mom's family is southern we also did the southern experience with fried chicken, mac and cheese and green beans. My husband and I do not normally eat fried foods because of how greasy it is. I don't know what they do to it but it is the most flavorful, non greasy chicken I've ever had. My dad's side is Italian so I had to have the pasta station as well. Nothing disappointing there either and we know good pasta!!! There was not one bad word spoken about dinner and our guests have told us this was the best wedding food ever. My friend even texted me yesterday, 3 days past the wedding, at a steak house to tell me her gourmet meal was not as good as the food at our wedding. I love getting these compliments as I've never been truly impressed with wedding food ..until now!! :) Thank you Corie and staff!! You really know what you are doing and couldn't have been sweeter.

I cant say enough good things about Magnolia’s Catering. The food at our wedding was amazing. After our plated dinner, we saw tons of empty plates. Everyone enjoyed. They were able to accommodate some special diets (gluten-free, vegan, etc.) without any issue. While the food was great, even more importantly, Magnolia did everything we needed including serving the cake without my bride and I have to do anything at all. It just happened perfectly. It was timed exactly right. Their servers were clean, professional, and helped us put on a very classy event.

We got married at Red Gate Farms in Savannah on October 21st 2017 - we had a beautiful wedding and got so so many compliments on how DELICIOUS OUR FOOD WAS :) :) We've been to a ton of weddings and we all know that is not always the case! Magnolia Grill was a pleasure to work with - Corie and her team went above and beyond to make sure our table settings were perfect, the food was delicious and well presented and also even helped with our own personal snacks and cookies! They were great! I would highly recommend using Magnolia Grill. Also the prime rib entrée and the broccoli cheddar casserole were def crowd pleasers :)

What can I say about Corie and Magnolia Grill Catering. They were Absolutely wonderful. Corie was right there the whole way with us during the planning and all the changing we made. The tasting was great and we definitely were not expecting to get so much when we went to taste and we were able to bring 2 people with us to the tasting. When we left we had everything the way we wanted it and Corie was very accommodating to what and how we wanted it. The staff did an AWESOME job at the wedding especially making sure they stopped by us to ask if we wanted anything during happy hour in between pictures and all the way to making our plates and bringing them to us at the reception. They also made sure we knew about the plates they had for us to take with us and any leftovers that we may of had. They have multiple things to choose from and multiple ways you can do it. For everything we got and for 100 people I couldn't have asked for anyone better to have catered our wedding. Many of our guests also loved the food both cocktail hour and dinner. They left feeling stuffed and most went back for more. Thank you!

As the Mother of the Groom, I was very impressed! The food was delicious and the presentation was exquisite. My son and his new wife had been dealt with a catering blow, but Corie stepped up and made their catering dreams come true. I actually requested the menu a few weeks after the wedding to add to a scrapbook. Not only did Corie respond, she sent it the very next day! Corie was a dream to work with, especially as a bride planning a wedding long distance, and her food was wonderful! I had guests from all over the country and no one could stop talking about the shrimp and grits. I knew I wanted a wedding where there was plenty of food and where there was food that people would absolutely enjoy - and Magnolia Grill made it happen. My groom was unable to attend the tasting with me a few months prior, so the wedding was the first time he got to taste our selections and he was really pleased with everything. I'd use Magnolia Grill for any event in the future - highly recommend.

To put in simply and in the words of literally all of our guests - the best way to describe Magnolia Grill is that it is “Hands down the best wedding food we have ever had.” Magnolia Grill was BEYOND fabulous! As we shopped around for our wedding day caterer we looked into many different options, but from day 1 Magnolia Grill really stood apart. Corie was EXTREMELY responsive, helpful, and very flexible. On wedding day we had four stations, a Fajita Bar, Southern Bar, Pasta Bar and a Salad Bar and every single station’s food was delicious! Guests truly were RAVING about the food as they were eating it! Not only was the food delicious, but in the morning of wedding day, we dropped off a box of table décor to be added to the food tables. Magnolia Grill’s tablescaping skills were SPOT ON! As we walked through the stations, the presentation of the food was gorgeous and exactly as we had envisioned. The Magnolia team and servers were so attentive in ensuring all guest had water, the stations were kept clean and the food was kept warm. They made sure that there was food at the sweetheart table for us and ensured there was to go food in the getaway car as we left. We truly cannot say thank you enough to Corie and her team for making our wedding day picture perfect! We are SO thankful we found Magnolia Grill for our wedding catering and would highly recommend them! We still have guests telling us how amazing the food was at our wedding WEEKS later! And that is when you know it truthfully was AMAZING!

I was directed towards Magnolia Grill from The Mackey House. I spoke with Corie and she was a delight to work with! I told her everything I envisioned and she made it happen! She did our wedding reception as well as personally delivering a bridal luncheon for my bridesmaids and I (her suggestion since brides always forget to eat on the big day!). The food was MOUTH WATERING! We did the low country boil with fried chicken, Savannah red rice, and coleslaw. Everyone raved about how flavorful it was. My Husband and I sat down to eat and absolutely finished our plates! 5 stars all day long!

We used Magnolia Grill for our wedding and could not have been happier! Emails were always answered quickly and thoroughly and Corie and Mark truly enjoy what they do! We did passed hors d'oeuvres and a plated dinner for our 115 guests. We offered steak, chicken, and fish and everyone loved what they ate! One of the best perks is real flatware, glassware, and plates included in their quote price! Plus they'll cut your cake! No hidden fees and extras you aren't expecting, everything is laid out for you. Definitely a great product and great people to work with.

Corie Thomas and her team did a phenomenal job! We had some very last minute venue changes and they were flexible and made everything work, including our onsite oyster chef/station! From the very beginning, Corie was extremely helpful planning our destination wedding. She had great suggestions customizing our menu. We had "southern" themed appetizers, a chef shucking oysters onsite, and a 3 course plated dinner. Our guests are still raving about the shrimp and grits and the filet!

"This was the most delicious food we've ever had at a wedding!" That was the comment we heard over and over again from so many of our guests after our wedding in June. Cori and Mark created a delicious and unique menu for our wedding that was reflective to our personal tastes and flexible to all of our guests' tastes, too. We got a roast pig, which was my husband's #1 request for our wedding, and it was SO delicious! All of the appetizers and dinner sides were so creative and kept people asking for more. I HIGHLY recommend the candied bacon! Aside from the food, I was so pleasantly surprised with how attentive Cori and Mark were with us at our wedding. They made sure we were able to eat everything at our wedding and, when guests were getting food at the buffet, they served us all our food at our table, which allowed us time to eat without interruption. I've spoken to so many brides who don't even get to eat at their wedding, so this was such a great service and surprise, especially since all the food was so great!
In addition to catering our wedding, we had Magnolia Grill cater our brunch the morning after our wedding. They came to the house and set everything up before everyone arrived and even stayed, at no extra cost, to help make sure the trays were rotated out when they were empty and that everything was hot when it was served. We still have guests asking for the recipes from both events they catered at our wedding. I highly recommend Magnolia Grill for any catering you need for any event. They will leave your guests full and undoubtedly raving about everything they just ate!

I can not rave enough about how happy we are to have selected Magnolia Grill for our wedding day! From the first email exchanged with Corie, to meeting with them for our tasting, to my follow up phone conversation with Mark, these two proved to be the best! My groom and I wanted a true Savannah taste for our destination wedding and they provided that. Our friends continue to rant about how amazing our appetizers and dinners were! Mark's shrimp and grits were phenomenal, as well as the dauphinoise potatoes (thank you, Mark, for sharing your recipe). Our ribeye steaks were cooked perfectly and my sister ate asparagus, which says something about how tasty it was! We chose a plated dinner and everyone was served quickly and efficiently. We had an allergy issue to deal with and Corie handled it like the professional she is. There was a small snafu with our cake cutting, but that was simply an error in communication. This was relayed to Mark by our coordinator and he called the day after we returned from our honeymoon to apologize. We appreciated his being pro-active in handling our only complaint. We did extensive research and Magnolia Grill was the best value we found for the service we received. Their prices were very fair. Every email, phone call and text was returned very quickly. They accommodated every wish and exceeded every expectation we had. The service team they provided for the day of our event was on point. Mark and Corie went out of their way to accommodate our crazy schedule when we were in Savannah for our planning weekends. We can not wait to return and visit their restaurant for a meal. We consider Mark and Corie to be a part of the amazing circle of friends we made in Savannah!

I read reviews before working with Magnolia Grill and found that all the positive reviews were all true. They were responsive, responsible, friendly, professional and delivered the exact product they said they would. All of our guests raved about the food (especially the shrimp and grits). We had a couple of hiccups in our schedule but that did not phase the staff. They worked with me at every turn and responded quickly. I would definitely work with them again. They cleaned up so well you would not know they were ever there. I did not have to worry about anything.

Each dish came out perfectly, and I have received praise from all of my guests for selecting them. Even the Yankees from up north loved the shrimp and grits! The staff was amazing and catered to everyone's needs. They also provided the highlight of the evening with a special dessert called the Flaming Doughnut. Once they describe it to you, you're hooked, and it was an instant hit at the reception. They truly have a one of a kind menu that sticks to it's southern roots. Working with Corie during the planning process was a breeze. We went for a tasting, and everyone was so warm and friendly. The pricing was simple and readable. There weren't a lot of hidden or extra costs. They took care of everything and gave us one flat price to work with. We chose from a huge, easy to understand menu. We had a pasta bar, oysters, crab cakes, shrimp and grits, and fried green tomato BLT bites, just to name a few things! The food was incredible. During the heavy hors d'oeuvres buffet reception, they served my husband and I at the table. They even saved a few of the hand passed items from the cocktail hour for us. Then, they sent us off that night with huge to go boxes.
My interactions with this vendor were professional and the food was high quality but so affordable for what we had. It was perfect. There were no emergencies to pull me from getting ready or stress me out on our wedding. And if there were, they handled it and I never knew!

Our guests are STILL raving about how good the food was at our wedding.. and they aren't lying. I have attended many weddings, and the one thing that could always be better is the food.. well I guarantee that wasn't an issue at our wedding. Not only did the staff provide a full plate of food for my husband and I, they had it ready and waiting for us when we sat down at our table - little things like that really mean a lot to a bride and groom on a chaotic day like your wedding day.
I will never be able to thank Mark and Corie (Magnolia Grill Catering) enough for making our day so memorable (for all the RIGHT reasons) with the delicious appetizers and entrees provided at our wedding!

Magnolia Grill was amazing to work with. They had great ideas about how to lay out the event and designed a fun menu within our budget. Everyone commented about how great the food was the next day! Magnolia Grill was such a great choice for our wedding. The food was amazing and the staff was super friendly. They made sure that my husband and I had plenty of food and something to drink. They were also very quick with their clean up and with helping our guests discard their plates. Would definitely recommend them!!

The Magnolia Grill provided the catering at the Mackey House for my daughter's wedding. The food was excellent! Everything was fabulous from the appetizers to the ice cream sundae dessert bar! Kudos to the chef.

Many brides and grooms don't get a chance to eat but this bride and groom made it a point to because the food was fantastic! Our wedding guests are still talking about the amazing food we had at the wedding. The mac n cheese and squash casserole were out of this world. Mark and Corie were so easy and accommodating to work with, we can't thank them enough!

Magnolia Grill Catering was recommended to us by The Mackey House for our wedding in Savannah. We chose a buffet option and the food was absolutely incredible! They provided so many options for us to choose from and worked extremely well with us as we planned this wedding from afar. My biggest worry was that with a buffet dinner the food may get cold but that was certainly not the case! We chose a type of chicken, fish, and included a prime rib carving station that all guests loved. Not only was their food amazing, but their servers and other workers for the catering company were extremely helpful and hard working.

Magnolia Grill catered our wedding and did a phenomenal job! The food was delicious. All of our guests raved about it and many told us it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. We could not agree more. The presentation of the food at the venue was also beautiful. They set it up as stations in the different Mackey House rooms so that the guests could enjoy the beautiful home while getting their dinner. This was such a unique experience for guests and much different from the traditional buffet line. They provided delicious food and an amazing southern experience for all of our guests.
Corie and Mark were awesome to work with throughout the entire planning process. They are responsive, flexible, and extremely kind. They were at the wedding making sure everything was in line and going smoothly. All of their staff were also so kind to all of our guests and made the night very special. I cannot say enough great things about Magnolia Grill. I highly recommend them!

We wouldn't suggest anyone else - Magnolia Grill is the best ! I've never experienced services so prompt and professional. We've always got immediate feedback no matter the time or day of inquiries. To also add, they even opened their restaurant on holiday just for our tasting. To top things off the food was absolutely delicious. Our family and friends were so complimentary of the food and services and many of our guests even went back for seconds :) Magnolia Grill also took great care of our great-grandmother who attended the wedding and even gave our son a sweet wedding gift as well. It was truly a pleasure having Magnolia Grill provide there services. They honestly exemplifies great customer service, compassion and professionalism.

I'm an extremely picky eater. Magnolia worked with us so we could get what we wanted. We ended up doing the stations in order to please everyone's appetites and the Krispy Kreme donuts were defiantly a hit!!

Couldn't be happier with the service of Magnolia Grill. The food was excellent. Our guests are still going out of their way to tell us that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. They were even able to accommodate a last minute request to add a fruit and cheese plate for guests that arrived early. The flaming doughnut stand was a fantastic idea. Mark and Cori run a great business. Highly recommended if you are in the Savannah area.

Wonderful people, and wonderful food. I am so happy to have had Magnolia Grill cater my wedding. They were very flexible with the tasting and went above and beyond to meet our every need. I loved the food served for the wedding it was fresh, hot, and tasty. We received many compliments on how great the food was. Our menu consisted of fried chicken, ribs, mac-n-cheese, collard greens, squash casserole, peach cobbler, salad display and corn muffins accompanied with sweet and unsweet tea and water. We would definitely use their services again and look forward to stopping by their restaurant occasionally. You will not be disappointed if you choose to go with Magnolia Grill.

Magnolia Grill was OUTSTANDING! Everyone said that it was the BEST FOOD THEY HAVE EVER HAD AT A WEDDING! And, I wholeheartedly agree. The food was tasty, on time, and they had such great options for all our guests! Mashed potato bar was so much fun for everyone and the prime rib was TO DIE FOR! The chicken san remo was light, delightful, and delicious.
The staff was professional, courteous, and went above and beyond! They really did an excellent job. I really recommend them to ANYONE planning an event. I couldnt be more pleased with the job they did catering our wedding.

Magnolia Grill catering is the absolute BEST! Mark, Corie and their team went above and beyond, and far exceeded our expectations. The second my husband and I entered our reception, they had plates of food delivered right to us to ensure that we ate and got to taste everything they had prepared. Their staff is extremely professional and the food is out of this world! We created a "Southern Experience" menu and our guests are still raving about the food. (The shrimp and grits are a MUST!) I'm amazed that they were able to feed 250 people without one hiccup. They were excellent to work with, very flexible and accommodating. My husband wanted a Chicago-style hot dog bar which they made happen without one complaint or question, had all of the authentic Chicago toppings (and the poppy seed buns!), and even went as far as creating a sign that said "Hot Dogs for Jimmy!" I would recommend them to anyone who wants a flawless event, delicious food, and friendly people. I will never use anyone else! Thank you Magnolia Grill for helping make our wedding day perfect.

Mark and Corie are great! Their food is amazing and planning with them was a lot of fun. They even took in one of our own family recipes and put a twist on it for us for our big day. They made our special day personalized by adding a midwestern (bride from Iowa) and southern (groom from Florida) stations, which included a lot of our favorites. Our guest are still talking about the shrimp and grits!
