From the beginning, I knew our wedding photographer would be one of the most important vendors we booked. The memories last a lifetime and are worth the investment. Magdelena Studios was the best vendor for the job! Everyone at the Studio is super friendly, professional, and responds quickly. After we booked, we were matched with Casey as our photographer. She was the perfect fit for us and simply incredible to work with. At our engagement photos session, Casey instantly made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and on our wedding day, everything went seamlessly. Casey helped us pose naturally, stuck to our timeline, and made sure we got all the shots on our list. Our second photographer, Sophie, was super sweet and helpful as well. Casey's care and attention to detail is second to none. I put together a Pinterest board of my inspo shots, and at both our engagement session and our wedding day, Casey pulled up specific photos and then posed us accordingly to truly capture my vision. We already got our previews, and we are totally in love. I can't wait to see the rest! Huge thanks to Casey, Sophie, and the whole team! -

I had been following Magdalena Studios instagram page for years and knew when I got married I wanted to hire them for my wedding. When I had my phone call with Magi after I got engaged, I felt like I was talking to one of my friends; she is super friendly and easy to chat with & I hired her immediately! She was the first vendor we booked! Ashley was my lead photographer for my wedding on 02/10. She did our engagement shoot as well and we loved every minute of it! On our wedding day she made me feel so comfortable and I actually enjoyed being the center of attention! My husband doesn't love getting his picture taken and even he was smiling. My second shooter was Arianna and she was super personable and great to work with. Both Ashley & Arianna made us feel comfortable and we never felt like our photos were too forced or posed. I am SO in love with the sneak peeks I've already received and can't wait to get my full album! Overall, Magdalena Studios was really easy to work with & I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. I'm so grateful we have these amazing pictures to relive our best day! 100% would recommend :) -

I could write a book about how amazing Magdalena Studios is, and how grateful we are to have had them for our 9/17/22 Linwood CC Wedding! From start to finish, the process was super easy and stress-free, especially so being that we were a last minute add-in. Magi and her team really do an amazing job of making your wedding feel like the special experience that it is, and also tailor the experience to each couple through fun questionnaires, and a few phone calls at different intervals (Arianna was so helpful and pleasant!). Kelee was our main shooter and she was AMAZING. She was so helpful leading up to the big day in making sure she understood exactly the FEELING we wanted, our timeline, and any special shots, etc. that we wanted. The day of, Kelee was on-time, professional, efficient, and so FUN. We were nervous about being awkward in pictures, but she truly made posing effortless and was SO encouraging (we had multiple people comment that she was the best hype woman ever & we agree!) She made great suggestions about different shots, location, lighting, etc. It was a plus that she knew our venue very well too! She also did a great job in managing our large and fairly rowdy bridal party. We stayed on time, got everything we wanted, and had SO MUCH FUN doing it. Kelle – you’re amazing and it is so clear that you love what you do and give your absolute all to your couples – thank you so much! The images themselves were absolutely STUNNING, and we received them so quickly on the easy-to-use portal. I had very vibrant florals and it was important to me for the pictures to be true-to-color, but the Magdalena style is truly timeless – not overedited or blown out – just simply beautiful and of the highest quality. You need not look any further than their Instagram to see just how gorgeous their photos are! I can’t imagine having a better experience with a photography team. Would highly highly recommend Magdalena Studios to photograph your special event! Thanks again! -

Photographer of my dreams!!!
Before I got engaged I had seen photos of Magi&teams work and was in awe- I just knew whenever the day came they were who I wanted to capture my wedding. The night we got engaged they were the first vendor we reached out to. Hiring Magdalena Studios was one of the best decisions we made. Kelee was our lead photographer and from the moment we met her for our engagement photos she just felt so familiar and we were so comfortable with her. (I’m sure most people understand the struggle of having a guy enjoy taking and hour & half of professional photos) My fiancé (now husband) enjoyed the entire engagement shoot, and was in awe when we got the photos back. The engagement photos alone, made our families (and us) emotional and we had so many comments from friends and guests who had seen the photos on our wedding website about how amazing they were. In between engagement session and the wedding I actually also did a headshot session with Magi because that’s how amazing their whole team is (the aesthetic is everything and you can’t go wrong with any of their photographers) We added on rehearsal coverage and had Kelee the night before the wedding which was amazing to get some photos that we maybe wouldn’t get the next day, or just some different portraits of my husband and I. Everyone at the Welcome Dinner came up to me to tell me how absolutely great Kelee was. When wedding day came we had Mike as our second shooter with the guys and my husband kept saying how great he was and how all the guys were relaxed and comfortable during their get ready and groomsmen photos. (Again, this is a huge testament to have 8 guys enjoy taking photos) Kelee was with me wedding morning after doing our details shots and was so calm and on it for every shot she wanted to get- I was completely at ease when she arrived. We got our previews back the other day and I have no words. Kelee was amazing to work with- our schedule went so smoothly and the photos are absolutely breathtaking. Magdalena Studios was a wedding decision I would make everytime if I had to do it all over again, and my husband is already talking about how he wants to have them take more photos of us and future milestones for years to come. 100/10 would recommend. -

Magi and Scott shot our wedding in May in Lancaster, PA. From the very start, Magi was so responsive and professional! She is so sweet and you can tell she loves her job so much. The whole experience from start to finish was seamless, sophisticated and so much fun! Their client portal is awesome, and allows you to fill out your wedding vision, ideas and even describe all the photos you want in detail. Our wedding day was HOT, it ended up being 95 degrees in May, something none of us really expected. Magi and Scott were so good at staying on track and they got all the photos done on the shot list in no time. It was so quick and painless, and was exactly the organization and efficiency that we needed in the heat. The wedding party and guests all loved Magi & Scott too. We received our gallery about a week ago, and we were so happy with both the gallery delivery time and all the photos! We have such a good mix of classic timeless photos and candid photos, along with all the little wedding details. Photography is so important to me, and Magi and Scott were 100% worth the investment. We cannot wait to choose our photos for our heirloom album! -

The Bigley Wedding at The Lakehouse Inn
Magi, Scott & the Magdalena studios team were truly incredible to work with and we couldn’t have been happier with them! We first met Magi for our engagement pictures and her style and creative sense immediately struck us as special. Her general vibe immediately put us at ease and the engagement photos were a telling harbinger to what we would get on the wedding day (they were gorgeous!). On the wedding day, Magi and Scott couldn’t have been more easy-going and professional. Their overall attitudes immediately put us at ease and made the picture taking experience so easy. Then there’s the pictures themselves – there’s expectation and reality, and then there’s what they produced. It was truly incredible how perfect the pictures looked (and we’ve only seen the unedited versions so far). It looked like we were in promo shots of a multi-million dollar Hollywood movie (for a very, very small fraction of the price). We really could not recommend them more!! Thank you so much for making our special day something that we will truly never forget! -

Magdalena and her team were amazing. Every time one of my other vendors found out we had hired Magdalena, they would immediately say “oh she is the best!” We had her associate team and it was still pricey BUT it is worth every penny!

We hired Magdalena Studios for our wedding in September and did a mini photo shoot down the shore and couldn't be happier with our photos. The team certainly worked some magic in ensuring that the photos were flattering and beautiful tokens of our day. Magi, Tori, and Amara photographed our wedding and they made us feel so comfortable and at ease! Magi is absolutely wonderful to work with and brings such positivity and beautiful energy to the day. (And she shoots in film in addition to the digital photos!) -

The moment I came across Magi's Instagram, I knew I had to have her and her team by our side on our big day. Magi made the entire planning process feel stress-free and seamless. Prior to our big day, I was able to connect with her Associate Megan and talk through all of the details. Both she and Ashley were AMAZING! A Dream Day with Magi!
I couldn't have imagined my wedding day without Magi and Ashley there to capture all the tiny details and emotions that made our wedding. From our first meeting, Magi made me so very comfortable about trusting her and her team to be the team behind all of our wedding photography. Her communication was on 100% all the time, even for my silly questions. The day of our wedding Magi and Ashley came in and it was a pleasure to watch them work, even when it felt like they weren't there. Magi took the time to take pictures of the delicate details of our day that really remind me of how our wedding vision came to life. She made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera and guided us to capture the most perfect pictures. The day of our wedding she sent us preview pictures to hold us over until the rest came through. The pictures are soft and delicate with special attention to the details. Any chance I get I make sure to suggest Magi and her team to be part of someone's special day because every time I look at our pictures I relive our wedding in that very moment. Thank you!!! xo -

We couldn't imagine our day without Magdalena Studios!
When my husband and I were first planning our wedding, finding the "right" photographer was at the top of our list. We wanted someone that not only captured the emotions and happiness of that day but was easy to work with. Magdalena Studios was recommended by a friend and was an easy choice after comparing to local photographers in the area. We chose Magi's associate staff (Ashley and Karrie) and they couldn't have been better. In addition to Magi helping us through our day of planning and schedule, we were able to have one-on-one time with Ashley prior to our day to make sure we were aligned on the vision for our photos. The day of our wedding, Ashley and Karrie made our family and bridal party feel completely at ease and truly captured the beautiful moments of the day. From start to finish, I couldn't imagine trusting anyone but Magi and her team. Our pictures were everything we wanted and more and can't wait to share for years to come! -

I chose Magdalena Studios to photograph my wedding because I loved her (and her associate's) ability to capture the day in a beautiful/simple/elegant way without over editing or using harsh colors. I am so happy with the final photos!!! Throughout the wedding planning process, her team was very communicative, and even sent congratulatory gifts at times. I thought that was very thoughtful. The day of the wedding, associate photographer, Megan, truly went above and beyond her call as photographer. She had hair pins ready for me to use to attach my veil when nobody else had pins after the hair dresser left. She helped carry my veil, which I really appreciated. Magdalena studios went above and beyond during every step of the process. Best decision! -

Best in the business. Hands down. Not that I’ve had 1000+ weddings with different photographers to prove this, but Magi and team are DREAM TEAM. They know how to make your wedding photography dreams come true. Magi and team have such big hearts and creative minds that they can interpret your vision and make it reality - regardless of location, props, body type. Honestly, don’t waste your time getting sucked into the rabbit hole of buying the latest trinkets because the photos that you’ll return to, that you’ll love and treasure forever are the ones Magi and team capture between you and your spouse (and loved ones). They can find the best spots and angles in a non-ideal place to make it look magical. I worked with Magi primarily and she is a pro. She handles the bridal fixation on little things before hand with ease. Magi respects boundaries and is so giving with her advice if you ask for it. Magi is ghostlike with her ability to fit in seamlessly with the moment, while giving you gentle direction. Definitely read her blog or follow along on IG or just ask (!) to find vendors they have worked with before. Magi works with the highest quality pros all the time so use this resource! Even if you don’t work with someone they’ve worked with before, they are pros and make space for all the creatives to be comfortable with no stress for the couple. I’ve said it before but Magi and team made the whole process stress-free and were always so kind and quick to respond. I am eager to book more one off photo sessions with the team for future life events. I cannot stress enough that they take priceless photos. The team allows your joy to shine through. The studio also offers a photo booth now! I didn’t take advantage of it but it’s super cute and can be branded to match your wedding. What appealed to me about Magi in particular in the crowded photography market is the fact that she is continually investing in herself and her team with learning and development. Magi makes sure to learn from the best and is always refining her skills and management to provide the best experience for her clients. I also was drawn to her integral spirit of giving back and being part of a community. These qualities resonated with me. I mentioned using Magi as a resource earlier but book her (and team), read her journal/blog, follow her advice, and have ridiculously great photos to cherish! Easy peasy. Book her now! -

PERFECTION!!! Working with Maggie and her team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. When you are planning your wedding, you don't realize how much time of your wedding day you will spend with your photographer. I spent more time with Maggie than I did with any other person. It was amazing to have someone who puts you at ease, deals with the curveballs of the day and advocates for your needs. It was a real joy to spend the day with Maggie and Scott. The final photos were absolutely GORGEOUS. They are natural and yet magazine worthy at the same time. We have beautiful portraits and candid moments. I can't recommend Maggie highly enough. We chose to use Magdelena Studios as our destination wedding photographers based on the beautiful, light, airy, and romantic pictures we had seen of other couples and other weddings on their website and social media pages, not to mention because of the raving reviews we heard from friends and read online. I actually based our wedding date on Magi's availability; she was the first vendor that we booked! Magi and Scott went above and beyond just photographing our wedding. They traveled all the way to Jamaica, met with us and explored the resort the day before, helped us in establishing a wedding day timeline, assisted with last minute details, worked closely with resort staff, and ensured that the day ran smoothly despite a tropical rainstorm that rolled in an hour before the ceremony! Both Magi and Scott were extremely professional, organized, and easy to work with. They made us feel comfortable during photoshoots (and even made them fun!), managed all group photos with ease, and found creative backdrops and lighting to capture all of the best moments from our wedding day. I am so grateful we chose Magdalena Studios and am so pleased with the beautiful wedding photos we received- we will cherish them for a lifetime! -

Do yourself a huge favor and choose Magdalena Studios as your wedding photographer!! For me, I didn’t even consider anyone else because I was sold by Magi and her website and social media from the start. I don’t even know where to begin about how amazing and professional Magi (and her soon-to-be husband, Scott) were to work with throughout our entire wedding process (starting at least a year in advance). Magi showed sincere interest in getting to know my now-husband and I as a couple via phone calls since we don’t live all that close to South Jersey. Her online booking system was so user friendly, and her communication from the start made everything much less stressful for us.
The process continued into our engagement session which took place at a South Jersey sunflower farm. I was really nervous about the photoshoot, not only for me, but also for Casey who does not enjoy taking photos! 🙈 Magi made us both feel so unbelievably comfortable and natural. She also had so many creative cues to make us relax. We received the photos not long after and we were absolutely AMAZED with how they came out!
Heading into our wedding with a zillion other stressful weights on our shoulders, Magi helped us create our timeline about a month before our date. She has the day down to a science. She knew exactly how the day should be planned out, and we followed that timeline and the whole entire day up until we were done with portraits. We were able to get all the shots we wanted despite not doing a first look. She was also amazing when it came to coordinating the list of family portraits - we had a pretty long list of group photos and she helped manage the list in the most efficient way possible and the process went very quickly.
On our wedding day, not only were both Magi and Scott so professional and organized, they were FUN!! We had a great time laughing and talking before our ceremony, and I know Casey felt the same when Scott was shooting with the guys. It almost felt like we had some more friends attending our wedding who just happened to be capturing every moment!
We are so thankful for everything Magi and Scott have done for us and we absolutely cannot wait to see our wedding photos! Your wedding will last one night, but the photos will last forever, and Magdalena Studios did amazing job every step of the way. Thank you!! -

completely obsessed!
From the first conversation with Magi, I knew we had made the best choice for a photographer. She was so helpful and knowledgeable throughout our wedding planning. She helped me get in contact with other vendors and always sent the nicest emails. Ashley was our day of photographer and she couldn't have been sweeter -- we loved her and our family loved her. We all felt so comfortable with her and we are OBSESSED with our pictures!!!!!!! Magdalena Studios will exceed your expectations!
We are so unbelievably happy we chose Magdalena Studios to be our photographers for our wedding day! Magi and her team made the whole process so incredibly easy from the start!! The entire planning process was so organized and I loved how they were always there to answer any question I had along they way, some not even related to photography!! Magdalena's blogs and tips were SO helpful every step of the way. I enjoyed Magi's company with a coffee date before the big day and was absolutely impressed with Magi and Scott on our wedding day!! They were an amazing team who made us feel so special and comfortable! They were extremely organized, friendly, and assertive to get everyone where they needed to be to stay on schedule! The day we received our photographs back was a very close second behind our actual wedding day. Our photographs turned out even more beautiful than we ever thought possible! Where to begin? Magi & her team are nothing short of incredible. My now husband Timmy got his degree in photography so he has an eye for great work and a very specific vision for things. He stumbled across Magi’s personal Instagram long before we got engaged and began following because of her incredible photos. After we got engaged he jokingly said that he “wished this amazing photographer he found on Instagram would photograph our wedding”. So I went to her page, found out that she was also a wedding photographer and lived a few towns over from us (we had NO idea she was local or even did weddings) so I immediately contacted her thinking she’d be way out of our league but wanted to at least try, to appease the photographer in my husband.
After initial conversations with Magi we met at a coffee shop in Ocean City and immediately knew we found our photographer. The way she handles conversations, meet-ups, emails and everything in between is flawless. She understood our vision from the beginning and was so thorough throughout the process from going over packages to signing the contract, etc. she really has perfected her craft. Our first engagement shoot (we got rained out) she opened her doors to us and made us feel like old friends, offering us wine and cheese at her adorable little house before taking us on an adventure in her town with the cutest little places to shoot. We even met Scott’s grandparents along the way (talk about feeling like old friends!). We’ve never been in front of the lense together so it was a bit uncomfortable at first, but her and Scott quickly made us feel comfortable and natural. Since we got rained out, they offered to do another shoot, which we decided to do in our apartment in Philly. Again, made us feel like models and encouraged us to act natural. We had so much fun both times!
Fast forward to our wedding, her and her assistant Ashley travelled to Massachusetts to shoot our big day. They arrived at the hotel and took the reins on all the detail and getting ready shots. As most people will tell you, your wedding day will be such a blur. I don’t even remember taking some photos! While we were waiting for our photos I kept saying to Timmy that I wished I told Magi I wanted this shot or that shot and was upset I forgot to tell her amidst the craziness of planning. But when we got our gallery all of the photos I wanted were there, not a single one was missing. She truly has an eye for photography and capturing the moments you dream of and work so hard to plan. As an added bonus, she shot some film photos for us because of her and Timmy sharing a love for photography. The film shots were OUT OF THIS WORLD. They were the ones that made me teary eyed as we flipped through the gallery. We were both blown away by the quality, the colors and the vibe. She truly is a remarkable artist, the kindest and sweetest soul and even an inspiration. I found myself saying a few times “I just wanna be like Magi!”.
When you invest in Magi for your wedding day, it will truly be the best investment you can make for your day and beyond. We are so grateful for her attentiveness, patience, kindness and open heart that she put into our engagement and wedding experience. We would hire her 10 times over again if we had the choice. Thank you Magi, Scott and Ashley for bringing our vision to life and for capturing the best photos we could have asked for. XO -
Kelsey Sent on 07/10/2018OUR WEDDING WAS MAGAZINE-WORTHY! No, not because my husband and I are models, or because we had a million dollar wedding. It's because of the exquisite photos Magi shot on our best day ever. Magi has the admirable ability to see the beauty in all of the nooks and crannys in any venue or space and capture it in a way that makes that place and the person in it, special. She re-imagines the typical bridal party group photos, accessory details shots, and portraits which made our photos feel so unique. Our wedding feels so different from every other wedding I have seen photos of online or in an album. I believe that is because Magi did not just show up to shoot a couple – she arrived excited to shoot a couple she learned about through the booking process and engagement shoot and poured herself into capturing authentic moments between us as a couple, and us with our beloved friends and family.
Beyond loving Magi’s style of photography, she is an incredible business woman. I thoroughly enjoyed being a client of hers as she sent thoughtful gifts leading up to the wedding. She mailed a special “Bride to Be” kit with nail polish and a coffee gift card, and even went above and beyond to send me a bouquet locket when learning my brother passed away during our engagement…it was so touching and made me feel that much more grateful to have her part of our wedding.
On the wedding day, Magi and her fiancé Scott were not only creative and enthusiastic about their work, which translated into the most stunning photos ever, but they were a blast to be around which made taking photos a true highlight of the day.
I understand the cost of wedding photography can be a huge expense, but I don't regret for one minute focusing part of our moderate budget to ensure the memories were captured by the best of the best!!! -

As we were beginning to plan our wedding, we knew having a great photographer was at the top of our list. We were not disappointed by Magi and her team. We had Ashley shoot our engagement pictures and our wedding day- she is incredible! Ashley had so many great ideas for our photos. She was able to take control of the day while still taking what I said into consideration. Her calm and sincere personality but my husband and I at ease. We got our wedding pictures back so quickly! They all look like they can be on a cover of a magazine. Magdalena Studios was a great fit for us, we couldn't be happier! -
