I had my wedding at Mae’s Ridge summer of 2024 and it was absolutely perfect! I loved the layout of the venue with multiple options to chose from for your ceremony, the outdoor cocktail area, bride and groom getting ready suite and the huge reception room. Every detail they’ve added to the venue is thoughtful and perfect. I also loved working with Abby as my day of coordinator and the owners, Rick and Joelle, are the best. Would highly recommend having your perfect Austin hill country wedding at Mae’s :) -

We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding venue! From the moment we arrived, it was clear this space was exactly what we were looking for—modern, stunning, and thoughtfully designed, while still embracing the natural beauty of the Hill Country. Every detail felt intentional, and it created the most beautiful backdrop for our special day.
Abby, the wedding planner, was incredible to work with—organized, attentive, and truly invested in making our day seamless and stress-free. We cannot thank her enough for going above and beyond! The owners were equally wonderful: so kind, accommodating, and a genuine pleasure to work with. It was clear they truly care about their couples and their venue.
If you’re looking for a modern, beautiful Hill Country venue paired with an amazing team who will go above and beyond, this place is truly something special. We are so grateful we chose it for our wedding day!

Joell and Rick were extremely accommodating and professional every step of the way during our wedding experience! The venue itself was in perfect condition from the exterior spaces and grounds to the bride room and groom room and main space. I cannot name one thing that didn’t go perfectly. The total cost ended up coming in under our budget, surprisingly. Mae’s Ridge has great relationships with such fantastic vendors, including the following 2 that made the event super excellent:

I knew this was THE SPOT from the moment we drove through the beautiful gated entrance, up the hill and saw the most incredible views! The manager, Abby, showed us around the stunning property covering all the details we needed to make our decision. Mae's Ridge has everything we could possibly need for our special day including the most amazing bridal suite and huge Groom's building. We are getting married next year but so far the communication and helpful lists are making it super easy to plan- WE CANNOT WAIT!!! -

Joell and Rick were onsite before we arrived to make sure any last minute adjustments were necessary. Rick even helped with installing a custom seating assignment board! -

Joell, Rick and Abby were amazing to work with for our daughter's wedding. A light rain shower before the ceremony provided us with a beautiful rainbow right behind the bridal party & made for awesome sunset pictures! Beautiful location with first class amenities! -

Mae’s Ridge— not enough stars
The overall venue was stunning. The staff were also so kind and flexible. I needed disco balls installed for my wedding and the graciously allowed for the Installation to occur the day before to ensure they would see my wedding day. The venue was beautifully captured in my photos. This place holds a special place in my heart. -

Where do we begin this testimonial?
From the first time we came on site, Joell and Rick were friendly, accommodating and as down to Earth as they come. Less is more here, and this modern farmhouse along with the Hill Country views all speak for itself. It was a no-brainer to choose this venue.
Then, for the big day.... We were told by others who've been married to expect some stuff to go wrong, and to let it slide and remember the big picture... I thought my wife and I were impervious to it until we discovered that our bartending vendor had failed to come on time - AND IT WAS ALREADY COCKTAIL HOUR.
Thank God, the worst wasn't even bad, because the drinks were being served by Joell and Rick who had stepped up huge, and you'd have never known that they were the owners and not the bartenders!
The day seemed like a fairytale blur, and even though the bartending service royally dropped the ball, it was mitigated by them. Plus, they accommodated our fur family! I can't recommend them, their service and their establishment any stronger for your big day; you won't regret it.Mae's Ridge's reply:
What an amazing couple! You two really rolled with the punches with that bartending situation- we actually had a blast! Thank goodness we now have Peak Beverage hosting our bar and that will never happen again!

We love Mae's Ridge! There are so many venues to choose from in the Hill Country and Mae's Ridge stands out from all of them. The reception area is so light and airy, which is very different from the other venues we looked at. The pavilion was perfect for setting up games and chairs for our guests to enjoy the beautiful weather we were blessed with on our wedding day. The ceremony site is gorgeous and has a great hill country view and a beautiful arch that we added florals to but also looks so elegant standing alone. The boys loved the groom's suite with the big TV, pool table, and other games to keep them busy all day. The bridal suite is a little bit on the small side, but with me, my five bridesmaids, and my mom and two mother-in-laws it worked perfectly. We had a great experience with all the staff at Mae's Ridge and even the owners were there the day of our wedding! They were also helping out and ensuring everyone was having a good time. We highly recommend this space for a hill country wedding. -

May 2023 Wedding
Our experience with Mae’s Ridge was absolutely wonderful! They were responsive to all of our questions and worked to accommodate as many of our requests as they could. Our favorite part was that they allowed us to have our pups there the day of the wedding. They also provided us with some amazing vendor recommendations. We received so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful our venue was. If you’re wanting a gorgeous venue in the Hill Country, Mae’s Ridge is the one!Mae's Ridge's reply:

Mae's Ridge was everything I had dreamed of and more for my wedding day. The owners are the nicest people and will help you in any way. The property is extremely elegant and clean and modern. I would book again Mae's Ridge in a heartbeat! -

When looking for a wedding venue my goal was to find a location that didn’t scream traditional. I wanted a place that my guest could come and go, “Wow! I’ve never been to a wedding somewhere like THIS!” And boy, did we find it! From start to finish the experience with Mae’s Ridge (and Joell and Rick, the owners), was incredible! I could write a novel, but here are the highlights -
*Communication with Joell and Rick was very accessible, prompt, and warm-hearted
*There are several ceremony sites to fit any wedding vibe (and rain back up spots that are ALSO beautiful…not always the case with other venues we walked)
*With their location on the Ridge the sunsets and the pics you can get…I mean helllooooo?! Say no more, out of this world…magazine level wow!
*Joell’s eye for design is next level!! —> with no decorations the venue is breathtaking, so even minimal additions takes it beyond expectation
All in all, our experience was wonderful and I would strongly encourage anyone considering MR to jump on it fast! I am confident that this venue will become an iconic staple of the hill country wedding world as the years go on. -

Very professional and accommodating
A brand new, modern venue with remarkable views of the Austin, Tx hillsides. The venue is uniquely designed with multiple ground spaces so you can flow from ceremony, to cocktails and dinner, then to the reception.Mae's Ridge's reply:

My husband and I got married September 20,2020 and Maes Ridge was my DREAM venue. Joell was so sweet and helpful. But our pictures and video are beyond anything we could have dreamed of. Navigating all things COVID of course has been a whirlwind, but working with Mae's Ridge has been an absolute blessing. They have extended my husband and I, kindness that is irreplaceable. The venue is absolutely beautiful with lots of flexibility to make your wedding day dreams come true.
But more than anything their kindness, professionalism, honesty and service is fantastic. I will recommend them time and time again. -

Mae’s Ridge is the modern farmhouse of my dreams with elegant finishes and touches of fun with its mid century flair! Joell & Rick have created something truly special and it’s because they put so much love into this space! My fiancé and I were so moved by their desire to bring this venue to life and all the gorgeous renderings that we chose this venue when it was not even completed! Mae's Ridge was the perfect venue for us! We were looking for something that was modern, but that had plenty of space on pretty hill country land. That can be hard to find as most "country" settings include a rustic barn vibe for the reception hall. We love the indoor/ outdoor nature of the space and that has been especially helpful being a bride during 2020. Mae's Ridge is gorgeous and working with their team was fantastic. Joell and Rick's space is new, but they went above and beyond to get me all the info needed and on the day of the wedding they were so helpful! I highly recommend this gorgeous venue! -

Mae's Ridge is an outstanding, beautiful, and one-of a kind venue that made our wedding exactly how me and my Husband dreamed it would be. The moment we first saw Mae's Ridge, we instantly fell in love with it. The venue itself is beautiful designed, with personal touches everywhere. The layout is perfect for weddings and social gatherings, with lots of options to tailor exactly to what you want. If there was one thing my guests said to me the most on my wedding night is, "How did you find this AMAZING VENUE?!"
Joell and Rick are wonderful and the sweetest people. We loved working with them and they made everything so simple and effortless. They are truly the heart of Mae's Ridge that gives the venue radiant, beautiful life! -

Joell and Rick are the most incredible couple who will do everything possible to make your day exactly how you imagined. The space is nothing less than perfect + an absolute DREAM for us! When we decided to tour venues (we had no clue what we were doing), but had 5 scheduled!!!! THANKFULLY Mae's Ridge was first on our list!!!! The second we walked in we got the "without a doubt" feeling, knowing it was the one for us. My groom and I looked at each other and said "we don't want to go anywhere else!" As the tour went on -and I may add they popped the champagne as we walked around- the space continued to check every single box. We are forever grateful that we stumbled upon this venue, and it will forever hold such a special place in our lives. Thank YOU to Mae's Ridge for being everything we could have ever wanted and more! -

Cannot wait to get married here!
The moment my fiancé and I stepped foot on this property we knew we had to have our big day here. In fact, this was our 2nd tour, and after, we cancelled all our other tours. Not only is this venue gorgeous, the owners (Joell and Rick) are incredible. We can't wait to start our lives together here! -

We were lucky to tour Mae's Ridge and book it for our date! Looking for the perfect mixture of modern, classic, bohemian and romantic--we found all the things we were looking for! The second my fiance and I saw Mae's Ridge, we knew it was the one! The entire venue stunning. From its pristine white exterior and grand reception area, to the fine, tiny details like the tile and lighting fixtures in the bridal suite, it is absolutely gorgeous. That being said, it was ultimately Joell's sweet and welcoming nature that made us seal the deal. She has been such a pleasure to work with so far and has made this process a breeze. We can't wait for our wedding at Mae's Ridge!
