Budget friendly!

Madeleine's Daughter was the first and only bridal shop I had gone to try on dresses. The level of service I received there could not have been matched and I am so glad I found my dress there! The stylist I had worked with was Stephanie, who was an absolute doll and so patient with myself and family I had brought along. Before my appointment, Stephanie had asked what my budget was and she made sure to stay under that budget and respected my budget! Budget was really important to me. After I found the one, they provided a list of seamstresses to use in the area, which was really helpful.

Excellent experience at MD!

Madeleine’s Daughter was the first dress shop I went to - and I found my wedding dress almost immediately! Melissa was so kind and helpful, pushing me to consider a dress outside of what I thought I wanted, and it ended up being the one. All of the staff at MD is welcoming and professional. My dress and veil were shipped to me without any issues, with tracking, and with lovely personal notes from the team! I highly recommend checking them out to start looking for your wedding dress.

Loved my wedding dress!

MD's did an outstanding job from start to finish with my dress as well as the mother-of-the-bride dress. Our customer service representatives we used were amazing - knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming. I was behind on purchasing my wedding dress and had more limited options than had I started earlier. But, I was still able to get a dress that I loved, fit into the aesthetic of my day, and was perfect for the occasion! And, my mother's dress was phenomenal.

An experience to remember

Beautiful store with a wide variety of dresses. I worked with McKenzie and she was absolutely amazing. She was very conscious of my dress budget and never showed me anything I couldn't afford. I picked out a gown but wanted to change the color and a few details. McKenzie whipped out her phone and texted the designers to make sure that everything I wanted changed could be done. The whole thing was confirmed before I left that night.

Family of dresses

Earlier this year my granddaughter went to Madeline’s Daughter for her wedding gown. It was a wonderful experience. The staff was very professional and extremely helpful and found a gown that matched her personality. This past Saturday my daughter and I went back to find out dresses. Our consultant was Annemarie who has been in the wedding business for many and could not been more helpful, friendly, knowledgeable. We both found gowns that we love and I believe Annemarie was the one that made our experience so amazing. I would recommend Madeline’s and especially Annemarie to anyone

Fairytale Attire

If you want to feel like you are on the TV show say yes to the dress, and leave with a dress fit for a fairytale look no further. My husband got his suite and I got my dress here and the entire experience was fun, stress free and we looked incredible

Great experience

I had purchased all of my prom dresses from Madeline’s daughter, so it was no question where I would get my wedding dress. I had a great experience wedding dress shopping with my mom and grandmother. There where lots of different options and I went during a sample sale so I got an amazing price on my dream dress! Thank you!

Highly Recommend!

My experience at Madeleine’s Daughter Bridal was nothing short of perfection. The salon is beautiful, very thoughtfully laid out and decorated tastefully. Additionally, their health/safety policies related to the pandemic are thorough but never felt over bearing, it certainly did not take away from the experience in the slightest. But I what I really want to speak to in this review is my stylist, Melissa. She was simply the best! I felt immediately at ease and almost as if she was just another girlfriend that came to shop with me - only a very knowledgeable one! She started me out with an array of styles/fits but we very quickly narrowed it down. She listened to every critique I had of a particular dress and the next one she would bring out consistently brought me one step closer to my dream dress. I was not prepared to find and purchase my gown during my very first appointment though was pleasantly surprised when I did and can honestly say this is largely thanks to Melissa!! I cannot recommend Madeleines Daughter Bridal and Melissa enough. xoxo.

Best selection, make you feel like the queen you are

Finding your wedding dress is the something you dream about. Having the chills moment and feeling pamper during the process is all a plus. Madeleines does this for you! From the minute they put you in a private room you feel like a queen. The dress I picked was my stylist Brianna’s pick for me after reading through my questionnaire, it wasn’t even on my list to try on. She knew exactly what I was looking for, even before I did. They were respectful, listened to me and made me feel beautiful. I found prom dresses here and was thrilled to have my wedding dress from the same place. I could go on and on about what a great experience it was, but check the photos for the proof!

Gown, Maids, Groom, and MOB/MOG

Where to start... Madeleine's Daughter was amazing from day 1! I booked an appointment shortly after getting engaged for November 2021. I had spent about a month looking at dresses and designed by "wishlist". My consultant, Mackenzie, was so kind from the very beginning and noticed that I had NO idea what I wanted. In reality, I wanted a traditional classic dress, but wanted to try all the styles to be sure, and she was so kind and efficient in allowing me to do so. We didn't waste time in any dresses that weren't contenders and found the perfect dress in less than 5 dresses.

My mother, and MIL, both found their dress at Madeleine's as did all my maids and the groom and groomsmen tuxes. My mom came in with a picture and they were able to find the dress and she LOVED IT! My MIL and I then went at a later date, and found the perfect dress that went GREAT with our whole look. For the maids, we did the same color and designer but any style. Bailey was great in working with my girls to find them a dress they all felt and looked stunning in.

Tuxes were SO easy and fun! we found the perfect look for the guys.

Many of our family and bridal party was out of state to NH. Madeleine's was flexible with appointment times, pick up etc and the guys calling in their measurements making everything perfect.

If you have any bridal/wedding wardrobe needs, look no further. I also found the perfect jumpsuit for my bridal shower and hair piece!

Talk about one stop shop! Highly recommend going to MD for all your bridal/ suit needs. If/ when you do go, I recommend seeing Bailey. She will guide you threw this process and make sure you are well taken care of!

Welcoming + Lovely

MD Bridal employs the kindest individuals in the wedding industry (I swear!!!!). I recently got married at 6/11/22 and was SO stressed about finding a dress. I also have a unique family dynamic and wanted to ensure that all members of my bridal party would have a great time shopping with me for this special occasion. MD sends out a questionnaire prior to your visit, so they know what to expect and your budget before you even step into the shop for your appointment. When my group arrived, we were greeted and brought to our changing area (keep in mind, you will be changing in front of your group - I had no problem with this at all, but others may). My stylist, Rebecca, was THE BEST and immediately knew my vision for my wedding day. We found "the one" in under an hour and before I knew it she had me in a STUNNING veil as well that I bought! The store felt so inclusive and there was never any pressure to buy or go beyond my budget at all. Thank you thank you to the entire MD family for such a fantastic experience!!

Perfect Dress, Awesome Staff

I can't say enough about how much I loved my wedding dress experience. The dresses were not only beautiful, but very affordable, with a great selection. They also did the suits for our wedding party and those were awesome--my dad said he wanted to buy it since he looked so good in it! Danielle was my dress consultant to start, and she made me feel so comfortable and even when other people grabbed some dresses for me, she accommodated all my questions and re-try ons because I didn't have a clue what I wanted to start with! She picked my dress I think the first round of try ons, and let me go back and forth until I was absolutely sure! I felt comfortable and beautiful, and I loved being able to share the day with my family!

I bought my wedding gown from Madeleine’s Daughter in February 2021 for my wedding in October 2021. I just wanted to thank the staff at Madeleine’s Daughter (I had McKenzie!) for helping me find the perfect dress! I knew I wanted lace and long sleeves, and McKenzie did all the rest! I did not feel pressured to buy a gown like I had at another boutique I went to, and the quality of the dress was amazing! McKenzie found me a dress that was exactly how I wanted to look on my wedding day and even helped me envision what adding sleeves to the dress would look like! McKenzie made a wonderful shopping experience for my mother, my mother-in-law, and me. When I went to pick up my dress, Renée was a great help and made me feel even more excited about picking up my dress! I got so many compliments on my dress. You will get a one-of-a-kind dress and experience if you go to Madeleine’s Daughter!

SYTTD--but better!

After a really stressful first bridal gown appointment elsewhere, working with Mackenzie at Madeleine's Daughter was a completely relaxing and fun experience. I felt like I was on Say Yes to The Dress with the level of service and attention I was given, without the craziness of a large, busy salon. Mackenzie was able to pinpoint what I was looking for so quickly and ended up picking a dress I hadn't considered in my pre-appointment research. I didn't feel rushed at all or any pressure to buy that day; I could tell she truly wanted to help me find the perfect dress and she did! She was also so considerate of my budget and made sure to be fully transparent with the pricing of each gown. She also offered ideas on how to add sleeves to the dress I ended up getting and her idea worked perfectly! The salon was also really accommodating and borrowed a specific dress from Hayley Paige that I had wanted to try that they don't normally carry. McKenzie was wonderful to work with, she truly listened to what I was saying and what I wanted and actually used my Pinterest board to draw inspiration for dresses. She actually picked out the dress I wore without ever having met me! I could not be happier with her assistance or the dress!

I came to Madeleine's Daughter after having two other appointments and not being able to find “the dress”. Ashley was my bridal consultant and she listened to exactly what I wanted and didn’t want. She was so patient and kind during the entire appointment and helped me found the dress of my dreams!! Ashley was truly amazing during the appointment; but it was after the appointment that blew me away. She wrote me a hand written note to “congratulate” me on finding the dress and stayed in touch with me until my dress came in. When it came in, she helped me put it on and complete my look! My mom had plans to make my veil but we didn’t know where to start; Ashley helped us pick out a veil that completed the dress (so that we could recreate it at home) and even mailed us a sample of the dress fabric so that we could bring it with us to the store to pick out a veil fabric to match. Ashley also helped me picked out bridesmaid’s dresses and helped my mom pick out a mother of the bride dress that made my mom look her very best. My mom has such a hard time finding dresses that she feels compliment her; again during her appointment, Ashley listened to exactly what she wanted and didn’t want and my mom has never looked more confident!! Ashley is truly amazing and I am so happy she was able to help me and my girls look our best on my wedding day!

Amazing experience for both bride and groom!

Madeleine's Daughter was the bridal dress shopping experience you dream about as a girl and what it looks like in the movies! You feel so special having a stylist bring in one dress after another for you to try on. I gave McKenzie a few guidelines of what I was looking for, and the third dress she brought out was the one. It was nothing I would have thought for myself, but it was perfect! My twin sister knew it was my dress right away. If it weren't for McKenzie's eye I never would have tried that dress on. On my wedding day I received so many compliments and I never wanted to take it off!
But I wasn't the only one with a good experience. My groom and all of his groomsmen rented suits. I thought I was going to have to beg them to make an appointment, but after their initial appointment they couldn't wait to go back to pick them up! They had such a great experience during their measurements! The girlfriend's of the groomsmen commented how great they looked and that they were even better than tailored suits they had at home. We originally went to Men's Wearhouse to get my husband a custom suit. We were so unhappy with how it came out we ended up renting from MD instead. Their rental was better than the custom suit! I couldn't have been happier with how the groom, groomsmen, and I looked on our wedding day- all thanks to Madeleine's Daughter!

Amazing Experience!

I found my dress back in July of 2019. Alison was my stylist and she was amazing! She knew exactly what I was looking for. Very patient and was so nice! Everyone at the shop was so helpful. I also purchased bridesmaids dresses there as well. The experience was amazing! We had an appointment in January 2020 and my girls felt so comfortable and found the perfect dresses! Communication was amazing. Even during COVID, we did a virtual appointment with I think Melissa. AMAZING! My now husband picked out his tux and we also picked out ones for the groomsmen and fathers. What a great experience even though we didn't see it in person! Even picking up the tuxes before the wedding was a great experience. I could go on and on! Wonderful experience

I came to Madeleine's Daughter after not having any luck at other bridal boutiques. At that point, I was kind of "over it" and not really looking forward to trying on more dresses. Ashley was great from start to finish. She listened to what I was looking for and made the experience a lot of fun. I left loving but not buying a dress and she made sure to follow up to see how I felt about it after I had a chance to think things over. Amazing Experience!

I went into Madeleine's Daughter with another dress already in my head. I was not planning on purchasing anything from them, just browsing as one of my friends had made me the appointment. My attendant asked me what I was looking for and brought out 4 dresses for me to try on. The 3rd dress stopped me dead in my tracks. I fell in love. It was everything I wanted...simple, elegant, sweet. On my wedding day, everyone kept saying how it was just the perfect dress for me, so sweet and elegant. My now husband, who is extremely picky, could not stop complementing me all night long! I used a recommended seamstress, Slava Fooksom. She had such a magical touch! She shortened it, took it in, adjusted the straps and added buttons for my bustle. It was flawless. I highly recommend Madeleine's Daughter Bridal and Ms. Fooksom for your wedding day needs!

Great experience!

I had a fantastic experience shopping for my wedding dress at Madeline's Daughter. I went into the day without any expectations and was blown away when after about 5 dresses, McKenzie pulled a dress that was "the one." At that time I didn't even know what I wanted, but after giving feedback about those dresses, she was able to find my perfect dress. I was also appreciative about how Madeline's Daughter is sensitive about the dress budget, and there was no chance I was going to fall in love with something I couldn't afford.

Awesome experience!

I made an appointment for Madeleine’s daughter with no intention that I would find the perfect dress right away. There happened to be a Martina Liana trunk show with representatives from Australia at the shop. The associates took the time to see what I was really looking for. Each dress I tried on was perfect. By the fourth dress I knew it was it! I was the very first to order style 1167 from Martina Liana. When the dress came in with different buttons that what was ordered The shop quickly fixed the problem. I would absolutely recommend this shop for your bridal gown! Saying Yes to an Experience

A friend had recently gotten married and recommended that I check out Madeleine's Daughter for my wedding dress. I had already been to one store and had not had the best experience so I wasn't sure what to expect. My stylist Alison was amazing to say the least! She asked me questions not only about how I wanted to look on my wedding day, but how I wanted to feel, and how I waned my wedding to feel. She had already looked at the information I sent to the store about my venue and my day and was ready to pick out dresses to fit my style and budget.
I thought I had a vision in my head of what I wanted and what would be best, but the first dress that Alison pulled for me was very different than what I expected to get. About 10 dresses later I came back to the very first dress. It fit my venue, the season, and it fit me. Alison knew exactly what would look amazing and pulled beautiful dresses. After saying "Yes" to the very first dress I came back for the Finishing Touches appointment with Alison and she helped me pick out my veil and belt to make the dress absolutely perfect! Alison was so amazing to work with and truly made looking for a dressing an experience and not a decision.
Since I had such a wonderful experience getting my dress, my mom and my bridesmaids came back to get their dresses as well. Every single person at Madeleine's Daughter was kind, thoughtful, and truly cared about what we needed and about the wedding we were planning. I will always reccomend Madeleine's Daughter to anyone I know looking for a dress.

Still love them even though I purchased my gown else where!

Although I didn't end up purchasing my dress with Madeleine's Daughter, I'd still recommend them 100%!

I was fortunate to work with Ashley during my initial appointment. I had found a dress that was a high contender at another vendor, but was still on the hunt. Ashley heard all of my requests and found one that was equally as beautiful. After our appointment, she worked tirelessly to get the dress from the other vendor in house so I could try both on back to back. In the end, she wasn't able to get it in, but could order it for me if I decided to get that one and recommended I make back-to-back appointments to try both one last time. My plan was to order the dress through Ashley regardless because she had gone above and beyond, but accidentally said yes when I had the first dress on again. Thankfully, I got to work with Ashley again for my best friend's wedding.

Madeleine's Daughter is the best for the true bridal experience!

Choosing to shop at Madeleine's Daughter for my wedding gown was absolutely the right choice! I had in mind a very specific style of dress that I *thought* I wanted, but when I wasn't happy with how those looked on me, the stylist pulled a wild card that I fell completely in love with! She listened to my feedback and used that to find the perfect dress for me! It was an amazing and positive experience. I was so happy with them that we also used them for our bridesmaid dresses, my mother's dress, our suits, and accessories. They are a great one stop shop and have such a big selection of dresses that you will surely find one you love!

The Dream "Say yes to the dress" moment

My mom, sister and I set out with 3 bridal salon appointments in one day since I had a short stay in town. When we got to Madeline's Daughter I immediately felt comfortable and the stylist really listened to what I had liked and disliked and what I was looking for in a dress. She pulled around 15 dresses for me and was so kind and helpful. I was unsure of a dress so I put it back on and she helped me to see the full bridal look with a veil and my hair pulled back. At that moment I knew it was my dress. It was a perfect moment. Everyone who worked there was always welcoming and polite. They were accommodating to my scheduling needs since I live in Ohio and had small windows to make appointments to pick up my dress and veil.

Cannot imagine finding my dress anywhere else!

Madeleine's Daughter was one of my favorite experiences when planning my wedding! As soon as you walk in the door, the stylists are already wishing only the best for your appointment! My stylist Ashley, was the best at getting into my mind and determining what I was looking for! I had a vague idea of what I was looking for, and i was basing this off of a dress i saw on their website, but didn't want them to pull it immediately. As we moved from one dress to another, I realized i wanted to try it on. When i went to tell Ashley, she was already one step ahead of me and had actually pulled it from the back already! I fell in love with it immediately, and was sold. We ended up going with Madeleine's Daughter for our bridesmaids dresses too, and that appointment was so much fun! We did the champagne appointment and it was extremely laid back and all of my girls had a blast and found beautiful dresses! If i had to do everything again, i would most definitely do it again!

The dress of a lifetime!

Ohhhh lord did I try on a lot of gowns.... I had been to 8 other salons prior to trying Madeleine's Daughter. I almost didn't go at all.... I was so sick of the search. I was ready to just go with a gown that I *thought* I loved at a different salon - just to be done with it. I hadn't had the teary eyed moment of "this is me as a bride!" and just thought it wasn't going to happen that way for me. A coworker suggested I go to MD just to give it one last shot. And I am eternally grateful I did. The gown selection is outstanding. The salon itself is beautiful. And the staff are among the most accommodating in the industry - knowledgeable, professional, never pushy, never sales'y... they make you feel like you are Queen for a day - let me tell you. I had my "yes to the dress" moment, tears and all. The gown I chose (a showstopping Maggie Sottero) was literally everything I ever dreamt it would be - it was THE gown I had always had in my head from the time I was a little girl. I even bought my wedding jewelry at MD - earrings and the daintiest most gorgeous headpiece. When I picked up my gown - which came in within weeks of ordering it - they sent me home with a pair of fresh water pearl earrings.... their little "gift" to each MD bride. My now husband and his groomsmen also went to MD to rent their suits - my hubby's was free and the groomsmens were 10% off. I simply could not be happier with Madeleine's Daughter. Make an appointment. You will NOT regret it.

Great experience

I did the salon to yourself experience which costed 500$. This gives you three hours to yourself in the salon with champagne and snacks included. 200$ of that will go towards your dress purchase and they will donate a percentage of your entire purchase to a charity of your choice which is incredible to me! I spent about an hour and a half there before picking my dress they then let my bridesmaids try on dresses to fill up the rest of the time! And there was no rush to get us out of there!

I fell in love with the first dress I tried on!

The ladies at Madeleine's Daughter helped to make my dress shopping experience fabulous! Many girls have a picture of what their dream wedding dress would look like, however, I was not one of those girls. I was scared that everything would look bad on me and that I would become discouraged. I filled out the Madeleine’s Daughter questionnaire prior to my initial visit, I was a little hard on myself: my problem areas are between my knees and neck and I need long sleeves for a June wedding 😂. Brandie Kramer took a look at my answers, took a look at me, verbally asked me some follow up questions, and then brought six dresses into the dressing room. I ended up falling in love with the first dress I tried on, and actually wore it on June 15th at my New England Aquarium wedding! Brandie, thank you for finding the perfect dress I never knew I wanted! It aligned perfectly with my whimsical under the sea theme. Brandie was also available to help assist all of my bridesmaids with their dresses. I reserved the cute bridesmaid suite and we had bottomless champagne to help make the experience a memory rather than a chore. If you are still looking for a dress, do yourself a favor and go visit Madeleine's Daughter!

Amazing Dress Shopping Experience!

I had a great experience at Madeleine's' Daughter and Kristin was such a great consultant! She made me feel so comfortable and very professional, listening to my likes and dislikes and really respected my large bridal (8 people) party during the appointment and my time in the dress I had loved. Made an appointment with Melissa and I am so happy I did! She listened to everything that I said and even if I didn’t want to try on certain dresses she was ok with that lol. Perfect Dress

I loved my experience at Madeline’s Daughter with Ashley. I was a little nervous going into my appointment because I knew I would have a limited selection because I needed a dress in a short amount of time (5 months) but Ashley put my mind at ease and found multiple options that were perfect for me AND that I could have in time for our wedding. I ended up choosing a Maggie Sotero that I fell in love with the second I put it on and it was exactly what I pictured myself in. We also rented suits for the Groom and Father’s, which was easy and painless and they looked perfect!

Amazing bridal store

I am so glad that I chose Madeline's Daughter for my dress. Kristen, the stylist who I worked with, was professional, friendly, and laid-back. She did an excellent job of reading my mother, sister-in-law, and me and catering to what we needed. The experience from start to finish was great. I came in with a pretty vague description of what I wanted, and she was somehow able to translate that into only bringing me a few dresses that were exactly right. I think my wedding dress was like the third dress I tried on. Once I picked it out, the entire staff at Madeline's Daughter was great. My dress came in early and their communication was excellent.

Most beautiful dresses in the portsmouth area

I was not your typical bride who is so excited to try on dresses and cannot wait to see themselves in their gorgeous white gown. I am a big busted bride and was nervous I would never find a dress that made me feel confident and beautiful. That all changed when I went to Madeleines' Daughter. They pulled dresses that were perfect for my body type. I probably tried on ten dresses max when I found the ONE. I could not believe it. I felt so confident and beautiful on my big day, like a princess! I loved my experience so much I got my bridesmaid and groomsmen attire at Madeleines' as well. They knew exactly what I envisioned and was looking for. The colors of everything was spot on. The staff is professional and kept to my budget. Over a year ago, I made an appointment with Melissa, who was extremely energetic, nice, and patient. She listened to what I wanted and helped me pick out my absolute dream dress. After having been disappointed at a previous bridal gown appointment, I learned about Madeline’s Daughter from a friend. Although I was a bit skeptical about their “process” at first, I cannot rave about them enough! The ladies at Madeline’s Daughter were terrific! They really listened to what I was looking for in my bridal gown, were patient as I tried everything on, and even offered to take photos so that I could really get an idea for how the dresses looked on me. Not only that- they have a huge collection of gowns to choose from. They know their stuff; just trust in the process. You WILL find your dress. I’ve already recommended them to several people.

My husband Andy and I got married on 11/4/17 and my bridesmaids and I went shopping for their dresses at Madeleine’s Daughter. We worked with Kristin Marquis and she was absolutely wonderful! All I knew going in was that I wanted floor length and dark purple. She helped us figure out the best styles, fit, etc. that worked for all of the girls, all while keeping it in a reasonable price range. She certainly made the experience easy and fun! Two of my bridesmaids were unable to attend that day and Madeleine’s made it so easy for them to just call in their measurements and payment info. and have the dresses shipped directly to their door, as they live farther away. I used MDB for my wedding dress, veil, earrings and coordination of my wedding dress cleaning and preservation. My first interaction with the staff was over the phone - I am from NH originally, live in CO currently, and got married in ME. The staff were extremely helpful in explaining appointment availability and details to me, and we ended up scheduling a Salon is Yours appointment for October 2017. In advance of the appointment, at the recommendation of a MDB consultant, I tried on dresses in CO so that I would have a better idea of what I wanted. When I found a dress that I thought might be "the one," the staff at Madeleine's went above and beyond to ensure the dress would be available in the salon for my appointment. At my appointment, I was thoroughly impressed with the service - while I was working with the consultant, another staff member was tending to my family. The consultant made me feel extremely comfortable, and was hugely helpful in talking through my likes and dislikes with each dress. When the consultant recognized my hesitation with the two "front runner" dresses, she advised that I could absolutely remove what I didn't like (a sparkly belt), and add what I wanted (buttons). Her advice was what made me feel 100% confident that I was choosing the perfect dress for me, and I loved that I was getting something slightly custom. Not typically an emotional person, I was fortunate enough to have a "Madeleine's Moment" surrounded by the most important women in my life. When I flew in for my first fitting, the salon was busy but I was still well tended to when picking out my veil and earrings. I also appreciated that they provided a list of seamstresses in the area, and was very happy with the end result. After the wedding, dropping the dress off for cleaning and preservation was easy - they took care of everything for me! I am very much looking forward to visiting Madeleine's again when my sister or another friend starts looking for their dream dress!

I purchased the most beautiful dress through you guys, and on the big day, I received so many compliments!! But most of all we loved how you offered the free tux rental for the groom. Becuase my husband baught a tux 8 months prior, and it no longer fit. We only had a week and a half to get a tux, to then travel to Las Vegas for a week. It was very quick, and he looked so handsome! Madeleine’s Daughter completely turned about my bridal dress shopping experience! Having had many of my friends rave about their wonderful experiences at Madeleine’s Daughter I knew I had to go. I only had a very vague idea of what I was and wasn’t looking for and Ashley was able to pull a variety of styles and immediately picked up on what I was liking and what I wasn’t. She was able to identify my style quickly and much better than I could ever articulate. Ashley was fun to work with and incredibly supportive and understanding of everything I was saying and feeling. She also made sure that my mom and sister were involved and excited throughout the appointment. Towards the end of the appointment when I was down between two absolutely amazing dresses, she encouraged that I keep trying each on. We never once felt rushed or pressured to make a decision. My experience at Madeleine's Daughter was nothing short of perfect. My stylist Emily was super bubbly and sweet and made me feel so comfortable from the very beginning. I went into dress shopping thinking I wanted a Hayley Paige big and poofy gown, and what I ended up with was so very different but so amazing.

Emily was so patient with me and my indecisiveness. I ended up choosing a gown I didn't even like on the hanger, but after I put it on, I knew it was the one. I felt like a bride and did not want to take it off. I even added a sheer tule overlay skirt to complete the look and make it look different than your typical lace gown. I can't say enough good things about this place. Their whole team is super sweet, and you don't feel like you're in some bridal factory where hundreds of people come in and you're just a number. At Madeleine's Daughter they make you feel special and like you're family. I highly recommend them, they have a great selection and a beautiful, intimate salon. I only wish I lived closer or I would have used them for my bridesmaids dresses! Thank you Madeleine's Daughter for making me feel like a stunning bride on my wedding day!

My sister-in-law was visiting from England and I wanted her to be a part of the wedding planning process. Madaleine’s Daughter usually takes reservations, but they were willing to work with me to fit in an appointment the day that I called just so my SIL could be there! I had Melissa as a consultant and she pulled a few dresses that exactly matched what I was looking for. I found the dress of my dreams right away! When my dress came in (only took about 4 months), I was able to have a quick fitting with my accessories that I purchased. I can’t say enough good things about MD! I have had a wonderful time working with Madeleine’s Daughter and specifically, Brandi. I did not want to buy a dress my first time shopping, as I didn’t want to rush into anything. The first dress Brandi had me try on, I knew it was the one! I wasn’t pressured in the least, but I knew I had to have this dress (it was even under budget!) Madeleine’s Daughter did a great job of making this Tom-boy feel comfortable in this unfamiliar territory of frills, lace and fashion vocabulary. Brandi knows just when to get you excited and how to calm your nerves and explain things. Since purchasing my dress, everyone I talk to responds with “oh yes, I got my dress at Madeleine’s Daughter too!” They also have great deals for the mothers and the groomsmen, should you buy your dress through them. It doesn’t matter if you’re someone who knows her stuff or if you’re someone who feels slightly out of her element with wedding planning, Madeleine’s Daughter will take care of you.

Madeline's Daughter made my dress shopping experience a dream come true. I got to work with Renee, who I can't say enough great things about!! She was amazing and I truly felt like a new friend was made with this experience! I am very indecisive and was dreading the dress shopping aspect of my wedding planning. Renee took this stress right away from me, I loved her professionalism and ability to hear what I like and dislike and to provide me with perfect options within my budget. One dress that I really liked I was going to buy that day but Renee could sense my indecisiveness and told me she wanted to go home and think about it and to come back and try it on again with some other options to really see if this was THE dress. Hello, that is the best customer service you could ever receive! I ended up coming back and doing exactly what she recommended and when I tried the dress on again, I could confidently say this is the dress! I could not have been happier with the service here!! I got my wedding dress, Bridesmaids dresses, and the Mothers Dresses at Madeleine's for my wedding in September, and we got such tremendous service.

Melissa helped me with my dress and she was AMAZING - her personality is friendly and bubbly and she is excellent are her job (and has excellent taste!!). She understood the kind of dress I was looking for right off the bat just off of a quick description and a couple pictures. She really respected our budget and never brought anything in that was outside of it which we truly appreciated.

With the bridesmaids dresses, we were a bit indecisive on sizing and ordering a dress for the MOH, and Melissa was super responsive, helpful, and patient throughout that several week process. She also followed up with us several times in general to check in, and give us updates on the dresses and their status. I would highly recommend this boutique, and more importantly, Melissa!!

I truly can't see enough good things about Madeleine's daughter. First, the staff. My goodness. Talk about down to earth, kind-hearted, genuine, knowledgeable, and deeply invested in how you FEEL about everything. Their approach to wedding dresses/wedding attire is fantastically unique in their focus and making sure you feel good with your look, which honestly is the most important thing going into a wedding. Specifically Casi & Lauren were angels along my wedding dress journey. Having sent friends to the store, they have commented that other staff has been equally phenomenal.
Furthermore, the diversity of dresses is spectacular. You can find anything for any budget. The design rooms are fun, roomy, and cozy. I could have spent all day there. But because Madeleine's daughter is so extraordinary at what they do, they will have you in and out in no time. But if you need to spend all day, they will accommodate anything. I had the BEST experience finding my wedding dress at Madeleine's Daughter! My stylist Kristin was amazing and made the process extremely easy. She helped me find the style that fit me best and never once pressured me to go above my budget. She was also so patient when I was torn between two dresses and was right there with the tissue box and hugs when I finally realized which one was "the one!" I bought my wedding gown from Madeline's Daughter, and it was the best experience! Melissa was wonderful, and did an amazing job making the experience fun and as relaxed as possible. I even bought a dress that I realized the next day wasn't the one, and the team there was amazing and checked on the order immediately, and they were able to stop the process and allow me to choose a new dress, one that I fell absolutely in love with! Madeleine's daughter was the first place I went wedding dress shopping. The environment was great and professional. All the staff were friendly and overall I loved my experience. I felt no pressure to find a dress, or to go over budget. I did end up with a dress about $170 over budget but only because I asked for the specific designer by name and said the price was okay before I tried it on. Wonderful experience and plan to rent suits from here since my fiance will get his free!

I bought my dress in August with Erica! Erica was amazing, I told her my price range and she was putting in amazing dresses! She asked about my family, wedding theme and how I met my fiancé! I had a great experience getting my wedding dress from Madelines Daughter! After talking to me and going through my Pinterest boad, my consultant was able to pull dresses that fit my vision and was able to find my perfect dress within budget! They made a point not to bring me anything that was over my budget and I really appreciated this after being to another bridal salon that had me try on dresses that were outside my budget. My bridesmaids also got their dresses at MD and they give a discount if you get your wedding dress from them, which my friends all appreciated.

When you go to MD for wedding dress shopping, do be aware that your friends/family will be in the dressing room with you while you are trying on dresses, which can be somewhat awkward....

Madeleine's Daughter was my first stop in wedding dress shopping. My sister and other family members had shopped and purchased their dresses there as well. I was completely uncertain about what kind of dress I wanted. We met with Kristin Lovering and I can't say enough about her. Kristin was fun, thoughtful, and not aggressive at all. She had me try on a handful of different looks and styles to help me narrow down my search and help me develop my own opinion about what I liked and what looked the best. She asked questions about my wedding, finance, and planning and seemed generally interested. We didn't find anything that day, but what I liked most is that Kristin followed up with me a few weeks later to see how shopping was going. This meant a lot to me. I decided to make another appointment with her because I felt like she wanted to help me find the right one. As fate would have it, my mother and stopped in to another bridal shop unplanned a few days before my second meeting with Kristin and I found the one. Though I wish I could have purchased a dress with Kristin, she really helped me figure out what I wanted. Madeleine's Daughter is a great place to start. It's a fun experience and they are so attentive. As someone in the wedding industry, I will happily refer anyone looking for a dress to them!

From start to finish my time at Madeleine's Daughter made me feel amazing! My consultant was able to take my hesitations and read my mind to show me dresses I wouldn't have thought of. Madeleine's Daughter was the second bridal salon I visited ... and it was the last! I didn't need to look any further than Madeleine's. They make the dress-shopping experience fun, economical and comfortable for all brides. They knew my budget, size and preferred styles in advance and didn't show me any dresses that were outside of my budget. My bridesmaids, mother and mother-in-law all were able to join me in the bridal suite as I tried on each dress, and the sales woman listened to what I did and did not like about each dress and only showed me dresses based on my previous responses. She was very attentive, professional, patient and honest, offering her opinion when I asked for it. She continued bringing out dresses until I found THE ONE! Although I am not an impulsive shopper, I had no doubt when I found the dress that I wanted to marry my husband in. I am absolutely obsessed with my wedding gown and cannot have imagined buying any other dress at any other store. I would recommend anyone in the area looking for a dress to come here - the personnel are sweet and attentive and I found my perfect dress! Once I sent in an appointment request, I received a prompt reply from my stylist, Emily, with a questionnaire such as she could see my Pinterest board as well as get a general understanding of what I was looking for (style, budget, etc). When I arrived to my appointment with my mum, I was greeted warmly and given celebrity treatment! Anyone looking for a place that will really listen to what your vision is, help you in/out of each dress, and make you feel like you're the only customer there - this is the place for you!

Since I bought my dress here, my fiance got his rental suit for free at their sister store, Soiree, which is right down the street! (Can't review them individually, for some reason) He had an awesome time with Marty, who was extremely helpful in picking out the fit of the suit and aiding us in choosing the perfect color to go with. All of the groomsmen had their fittings and on the wedding day, they all looked dashing in their individually fitted suits! Now-husband says that he would 100% go here in the future for any rental suit needs!

I worked with Brandi and bought my wedding dress at Madeleine's Daughter in February 2016. The staff at the front desk were welcoming. Brandi was awesome! She sat and talked with me about my style and what I was looking for and then brought back several options to try on and each one was great. We got mini bottles of champagne, too, which was very fun and a nice touch! Brandi respected my budget and brought out many options for me. The dresses were great quality and a good selection for my price range ($2,000). I enjoyed the whole experience and ended up getting a dress at the first store I went to! I could not have had a better experience shopping for my wedding dress with Melissa at Madeline's Daughter. During my first visit I thought I had an idea of what I wanted, but as I tried on dresses I realized I had less of an idea of what I was looking for than I thought! Melissa asked thoughtful questions and showed me several beautiful dresses, but ultimately I didn't find quite what I was looking for. Melissa was so patient however, and never made me feel rushed, and I never felt pressured to find a dress. She kept on telling me to trust my gut and that the right one would come along. After the first appointment I saw a dress online and emailed her to see if they had it at MD. She responded right away that they did have it and I scheduled my second appointment. The dress was perfect and the measuring and ordering process was so simple. It arrived on schedule and MD was a great resource for finding a seamstress. Melissa is a total sweetheart, and absolutely wonderful to work with. Some people had told me that wedding dress shopping can be stressful, but I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it thanks to Melissa at Madeline's Daughter.

Madeline's was the first place I went to try on wedding dresses. Casi did a great job of picking out dresses that were what I was looking for- but also understood that this was my first appointment so she threw in some more "fun" dresses too. I did not buy a dress at that first appointment and ended up finding my dress at another salon. However, my experience was so great with Casi and I ended up booking another appointment and buying the dress from her (Madeline's was even able to match the price of the other salon). In my opinion, if you live in New England, there is no better choice for finding your dream wedding gown! We were lucky enough to stumble upon Madeleine’s Daughter for my sister’s wedding and after having such an amazing experience finding her gown, my mom’s gown, and the bridesmaid dresses, we knew we were headed right back once it was my turn! MDs has an option to link to a Pinterest board so my stylist, McKenzie, was able to paint a clearer picture of our wedding when I first sat down for my appointment than even I had at that point! And, though it may be cliché, I ended up purchasing (and wearing and loving and wishing I could wear it all the time) the very first gown I tried on, McKenzie was just that good! People could not stop talking about my gown at the wedding, and just how truly unique it was. Even my wedding planner (who has seen plenty of wedding gowns!) kept raving about how perfect my dress was. It just felt so “me”, while also feeling so fairytale perfect for our wedding day. MDs helped me find modifications to tailor the dress perfectly to my style, and was patient while I slept on it (even though I knew it was THE dress!). After we found my gown, we returned to find the perfect bridesmaids’ dresses with Ashley (6 girls agreed on one dress, tried it on, measured, and purchased in under an hour!) and the most beautiful mother of the bride dress for my mom with Melissa. Each and every time we have gone to MDs it has been such an amazing, beautiful, and positive experience. If you are looking for a dress, I am sure there are lots of places to go. If you are looking for a day full of wonderful memories, attention to you and your wedding details, talented staff, an amazing selection, and a beautiful salon, Madeleine’s Daughter is the place to go!

Madeleine's Daughter ended up being a one stop shop for my 7-3-2016 wedding! I found my Nicole Miller Dakota gown, a *gorgeous* veil, and my Bill Levkoff bridesmaids dresses here, and my mom purchased her gown here as well. Not only do you get the bridal shop experience (complete with a nice private fitting room and a glass of bubbly), but they have a range of dresses at all price points. My budget was small but I ended up with a dress that made me feel beautiful, and I found a bridesmaids dress that had the cut and color I wanted, at a price point that was realistic for all of my girls.

All of the service I experienced at Madeleine's Daughter was top notch, but Renee in particular has a talent for helping you find "the one" without any pressure or anxiety. She also helped me find a great seamstress, coordinate getting bridesmaids dresses ordered and shipped all over the country, and now is helping me with gown preservation.

I had appointments at boutiques in Boston but my Madeleine's Daughter experience exceeded them all. I highly recommend making an appointment!

After talking a bit with Casi about my ideas for my dress, she did a great job at bringing out dresses that fit my style, my wedding, and my budget! She really listened to my wants/ideas, and brought out very thoughtfully chosen dresses for me to try, and offered good feedback about each dress. Although I did not ultimately purchase my dress from this shop, I would recommend it to anyone shopping for a wedding dress!

I can't say enough good things about MD. Casi, our bridal stylist was incredible and made me feel immediately at ease. She came to my appointment having already searched my vision on my Pinterest board, a detail which I especially appreciated. She chose gowns that fit my personal style and budget while also providing plenty of variety. Her warmth and friendly demeanor made me feel comfortable (nothing felt forced) and her knowledge and styling expertise helped tremendously, as I went in not really knowing what I wanted. I can't wait to wear my gorgeous gown on June 11th and thank Casi and Madeline's Daughter tremendously for helping to make our day that much more special!

I absolutely LOVED Madeleine's Daughter Bridal! I live in Florida and while I was up visiting my Mom this summer in Maine we made an appointment to find my dream dress. We had two other appointments in Boston that we didn't even make it to because Madeleine's Daughter ended up being our first and last stop. We worked with Emily, who was absolutely phenomenal. Her personality made the experience so much fun and she did such a great job of truly listening to me about my style and my likes and dislikes. Literally dress #2 that she pulled for me ended up being the one! I would definitely recommend Madeleine's Daughter any time someone in the New England area was searching for a dress!

I had the most magical time at Madeline's Daughter. Making the appointment was easy and they sent me a video of what to expect upon arrival. I went with my mom and my Maid of Honor last Friday. I definitely recommend going during the week--we weren't rushed at all, which was great! It is certainly an intimate experience--you change into each dress with your guests in the room-- but they provide slips for you, and i felt comfortable the whole time. My consultant was Ashley and she was marvelous. She had researched my venue and looked at my Pinterest board ahead of time, so she knew exactly the feel I was going for. I tried on several dresses and really loved a few of them. Ashley was great about looking at some of the photos I had saved from MD's online "closet" and telling me which ones were over budget or not. She was great when I said "i'd like to try this one, even though it's everything I didnt think I wanted" (strapless with tons of beading). That dress ended up being the ONE. Ashley knew how much I didn't want strapless for my November church wedding, so she managed to find some beaded straps that matched my dress PERFECTLY. I can't say enough about her as a consultant--she was top notch. We have already made an appointment for bridesmaids dresses in January with Ashley!!
