All Your Dress Needs, Brides to Mother's
As a MOG, I tried on so many dresses at many other shops, and even off of websites. I could not find the right one. I did find a designer online I was curious about & Sherri contacted her rep and brought it in for me to try. It was PERFECT! She went above & beyond to ensure that I too found my dream dress for my sons wedding. I cannot recommend her boutique enough for all of your bridal, MOB & MOB needs. She is even helping my son with his suit! -

They are the true meaning of pure elegance and classic style. Perfect blend of old and modern styles. The owner, Sherri, has this beautiful, talent of bringing the brides vision to another level of pure beauty beyond what the bride's vision is/was. My daughter and I unconditionally just trusted her wonderful guidance and watching my daughter walking down the aisle, proved beyond my vision, we made the best choice. Where do I start…. SHERRI, I wanted to take a moment to send you a much-deserved review and huge THANK YOU! Words can’t explain how much I appreciate sherri at Madeleines Bridal Boutique in Clovis CA. From the moment I stepped into your beautiful bridal Shop, I knew it was the perfect place to be. Sherri, you were so helpful from the beginning all the way to the final days before my March 19 2022 wedding. Thank you for being so honest and down-to-earth, and you made my wedding dress EXACTLY WHAT I ALWAYS DREAMED OF! I also want to thank you for taking time out of your every busy day for my alterations. I couldn’t have done this without YOU. So any bride to be, this is the bridal shop you will find your dress! EVERY DRESS in Madeline’s Bridal Boutique (which is ALOT) is gorgeous.

I went to a few different bridal stores in Fresno and was pleasantly surprised with the selection at all of them. But ultimately, I found my dream dress at Madeleine’s bridal boutique in Clovis. It was a beautifully made Kenneth Winston gown at a price that I felt was fair and reasonable for the quality of the dress. My bridesmaids also got their Watters bridesmaids dresses at Madeleine’s and Jordan was very helpful in helping us pick the style that looked best on all of the ladies as well as what colors would go best together (I had 3 different shades of blue). Myself and about half of my bridesmaids did alterations at Madeleine’s as well and it was nice to keep things all under one roof instead of having to run around town with our dresses. Our dresses came in with many months to spare. I loved being a Madeleine's bride and will treasure my dress forever.

Sherri and the other lovely ladies that work at Madeleine's were AMAZING!! They were very helpful in narrowing down the dress styles I liked, being understanding of my taste and wedding theme/colors, and helped me find the absolutely perfect dress. Not to mention, they made this by far the most fun and relaxing thing I have done while wedding planning. They are even helping customize the dress to be what I want, which is rare to find! They were so helpful throughout the whole process, and I would go back to them in a heartbeat! I'm telling everyone I know who gets married from now on to come here first for the amazing service! Go to Madeleine's, you will love it!! -

Not only was I able to order my dress far cheaper than anyone else, but they had fantastic recommendations for a seamstress, and they can clean, press, and preserve. Every time I have ever called they knew exactly who I was and made it a point to always be available. I would recommend them to anyone looking for their dress. -

Deborah Sent on 08/10/2010I just loved Madeline's Bridal....their location in downtown Clovis is perfect, the customer service was great. The decor inside is super cute! This was the first store I actually went to try on dresses and found my 'PERFECT' dress. I had been looking in magazines and online but never found IT. I knew what I wanted, something strapless, short and not over the top as we were getting married in Vegas. I'm small, 5'4" & 108, so I wanted something that would show off my curves. I found the perfect bridesmaid dress that we ordered in Ivory with black flowers and a blusher veil. We put a rush on my order. It came in a week before I was originally told, which I was super excited about. Gianna was so helpful in helping me put together my whole look which included ideas about jewelry, shoes and head wear. Even with my daughter. I just loved my dress and veil. I definitely will recommend Madeline's to every bride!!! Thanks you guys! -

I had my dress rushed service and because of the company I ordered from (not Madeleine's) the dress was a week later than scheduled but still in time for the big day. Madeleine's was in communication with me and refunded me the rush charge although it was not their fault. -

The young lady that helped me was very sweet and even when she was on maternity leave she was still very helpful to me. I wanted something a little different and they had exactly what i needed! -

When I had my appointment here, I had already had two other appointments else where and was starting to feel discouraged because all of the dresses that I loved were way out of my budget. When we got here the ladies were so kind and helpful. We pulled so many dresses! I decided to pick a dress out to try that I knew was out of my budget but it was beautiful so I just had to try it on (such a bad idea). I ended up loving the dress but I couldn't justify almost doubling my budget. Sydney, who was helping me, pulled one last dress for me to try that was similar to the one I loved. When I put it on I fell in love and purchased my dress! After the appointment they even sent a handwritten card which was so sweet! I can't wait until my dress comes in! -

This is a beautiful boutique. Very well organized and friendly staff. They're dresses are more on the designer side and come with the price tag. The lady who helped me was nice but I do feel I was waiting for her to come help more often than she was waiting to help me. She was able to gather my style and pulled a couple from the back that were about to be put on sale so that was nice. But ultimately I did not find my dress here. -

I had an appointment. From the moment I walked in I was insulted and treated rudely. Worst service ever! I have never been treated worse anywhere. If you aren't in your 20s and aren't spending $1000s they may treat you like a third class citizen as I was. They couldn't offer me a free gown to make it right! -

Well, I wrote out a review detailing my experience but it was so lengthy due to the atrocities we encountered at this business, I ran out of character limit. This shop was 90% of my wedding stress. I worked with this shop for 14 months, regarding my dress, my groom's suit, my groomsmen's suits, and I tried to order my flower girl dress & ring bearer suit through this shop as well but the owner, Sherri, never got back to me about the flower girl & ring bearer suit, up to the very moment of this publication. I ended up buying them from David's Bridal. Long story short, my dress was incorrectly ordered several sizes too big, even after I questioned it & was reassured. Our suit process started in July, but we didn't actually have everything, in their correct sizes until the day before the wedding, even though it was stated multiple times that we needed everything no later than 2 weeks prior. We were promised dates, which would come & go with zero communication. My husband and I were having to reach out and chase Sherri down, when items would come in, they would be the wrong sizes and have to be reordered. We had one groomsman who lives out of state and she sent him to MULTIPLE shops which were closed, that she allegedly contracts with, one of them being a THREE hour round trip! She told the groomsman he couldn't tell the groom or bride, but of course he told us. She tried to change prices multiple times, and when the men corrected her on it, she decided to make comments on their careers. PLEASE, brides, save yourself the headache & the stress. It was a nightmare & I do not understand how this shop is still in business. We heard from other customers who had weddings the same week we did, that they were having similar issues with this shop. Yes, customers talk when they see each other at the same tailoring shops. I did not even leave my dress to be pressed because I could not trust this shop with it for another second. I paid extra to have it done by someone else who worked quickly to get it back to me. I really hoped that at the end of the day, I was going to have a good experience with this shop & it's owner, Sherri, because they are a local business and we spent SO much money there (all of the groomsmen purchased their suits, not rented). However, it was the opposite, literally up until the day of the wedding because she kept getting things incorrect. Just don't shop here, don't fall for the razzle dazzle at your initial appointment, because I did & it is my biggest regret. -

I will never forget my awful experience with this store. It’s been 2 years since this happened, and I am finally writing this review.
I walked in hoping to look at dresses and maybe try some things on. My mom was with me, and we had been to a few other places at this point, but wanted to explore our options. A young woman working there told us we could look at dresses and pick some out to try on, and that she would set me up in a fitting room. They had a circular back room with red carpet and a little platform and mirrors and a pretty setup for brides to try on dresses, which was surrounded by fancy fitting rooms. I was excited because this was going to be a special moment for me and my mom. She set me up in one of the rooms and came out to ask me what styles I liked. I told her my budget- $1,500. An older woman, who I assume is the owner or manager, overheard this and pulled the young woman off to the side. A few moments later, the older woman came up to me and said, “I’m so sorry, we had you in the wrong fitting room. I moved your purse and jacket to another room for you.” The new room was a small stall in the front of the store by the bridesmaids dresses, where there was a mirror, but obviously not the same as the back room with the fancy setup for brides. I went along with this and kept looking at dresses. The older woman spoke to the younger woman again, who then disappeared. The older woman came to me and said, “So, the dresses we have here are all going to be out of your budget, but we have some things in the back room that are clearance, so she might be able to find something for you, okay.” The way she said it made me feel like I was wasting her time. And then she left to go talk to other customers. The young woman came back, looking embarrassed, and had a dress for me to try on, which was still out of my budget, but I tried it on anyway. I felt weirdly embarrassed when I came out of the fitting room because there was another bride in the pretty room on the platform trying on dresses, and I was in the front of the store by the window facing the street, trying on a wedding gown. I just felt so awkward and brushed off. The dress wasn’t my style at all, so I politely told her that I was going to keep it in mind and continue searching elsewhere.
The whole experience made my mom and me feel like we were lesser than. Like we were wasting her time because our budget wasn’t $3000+. And the switching of the fitting rooms was just such a slimy way to show that she didn’t think we belonged there. She could have just told us politely that they don’t sell dresses in our price range. That older woman also spoke to her employees in a condescending way several times while we were there. Shopping for a wedding dress should be a special experience for a bride. This experience was humiliating, embarrassing, condescending, and just upsetting.
