I don’t even know how to begin. We got married in September and Nick made sure the music and dance floor at our wedding was everything we wanted! Working with him was so easy and fun, and he made sure that the party thrived all night long. Our friends and family adored him and could not stop talking about how wonderful he was—- neither can my husband and I. Nick knows how to get a party started AND how to keep a party going! He was the DJ at our wedding this past September and we could not have possibly picked someone better. Not only was he super communicative, experienced and relatable, on the day of he brought amazing energy and everyone loved him (we're still getting compliments months later)! The best dj ever
Nick was the DJ for our wedding a few weeks ago and he was AMAZING. Throughout the entire wedding process, he was responsive and personable, helped me plan out the day of timeline, eased all my stress, and was an absolute blast. All of our guests raved about the music and all of our guests were on the dance floor, thanks to Nick. He even came out onto the dance floor and was truly the life of the party. Mvp vendor
From start to finish, Nick made our wedding so incredible for us. We so enjoyed our lengthy phone calls filled with laughs, stories, and plans for the wedding night, as well as meeting in person a few weeks before to go over all the final touches. We had so much fun organizing all of our music and bonding over certain artists, learning how well certain music works, and what we'd prefer not to hear, which Nick followed perfectly. He checked all the boxes with our special requests for the night, provided more than enough sound and audio where needed, really got to know our guests, and even surprised us with some unreal remixes. He completely understood our vision and brought it to life at our reception- absolute perfection. We are so glad we were provided with his name on our venue's vendor list and wouldn't have wanted anyone else. Thank you, Nick, for making our wedding night completely unforgettable and perfect.

Amazing DJ passionate about his work
Nick was THE BEST. He was so easy to work with and we all had SUCH a blast at the wedding because of him. All of our guests complimented him and many people thought he was an old friend because he fit in so well with us and everyone else. He's just that personable and easy going! He played all of our favorite music and mixed songs so seamlessly. He even brought his own drum pad to play along. Cocktail hour can get a little slow, but Nick brought cards to play blackjack with our guests and keep them entertained. I couldn't imagine anyone else DJing our wedding!

The Absolute Best DJ — Nick Made Our Night Unforgettable!
Nick was absolutely amazing!
From start to finish, he brought such fun, positive energy and kept the dance floor packed all night. We had some pretty specific (and not-so-typical) music requests, and he went above and beyond to make sure we heard all our favorites while mixing in songs we hadn’t even thought of — but fit the vibe perfectly.
The transitions between moments were seamless, and you could tell how much he genuinely cared about making the day feel personal to us. He even suggested we have a private last dance while guests were loading onto the shuttles — something I’d never have thought to do, but it ended up being one of our favorite moments of the whole night.
And we have to mention how cool it was getting to play the percussion pad — the crowd went wild! Nick truly made our wedding unforgettable, and we can’t recommend him enough. Our guests are still talking about how fun the music was!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Nick Maddalone as our wedding DJ, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice! Nick truly has a gift for bringing any vibe you want to your wedding. From the very beginning, he was incredibly engaging, flexible, and easy to work with. He made time to connect with us over the phone and offered so many creative ideas and recommendations to make our day extra special. One of our favorite suggestions was the wedding Mad Libs, which turned out to be such a fun and unique way to entertain our guests!
Nick went above and beyond to make our wedding personal and memorable. During dinner, he played the first dance songs of our family members, which was such a meaningful touch. Seeing our loved ones light up and get up to dance to their songs was truly heartwarming! His upbeat energy was contagious—he had everyone, from kids to grandparents, on the dance floor all night long. Our family and friends are a lively bunch, but Nick took things to the next level. The dance floor was packed the entire evening!
One of the standout moments was Nick inviting us to play his drums—it was such a fun and unexpected touch. He also made sure the kids at the wedding felt included, playing a special song just for them to dance to, which they absolutely loved! The mix of music was perfect, with a seamless blend of slow and upbeat songs, newer hits, and old classics, all tailored to our tastes. The online portal for song requests was super user-friendly and made planning so much easier.
Nick’s professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine excitement for what he does made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. He was always quick to respond and so happy and enthusiastic during every conversation. He’s not just an amazing DJ—he’s an all-around great guy who clearly loves what he does.

You need Nick as your DJ!!!
Where to start? Nick is AMAZING! From the very beginning we knew we wanted him to be the DJ at our wedding. He is so easy to talk to. He really seems to enjoy getting to know the couple he’s working with. He’s fun and outgoing all while being professional. He was so helpful throughout our wedding planning. Nick helped us with song choices, he smoothly transitioned guests from the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception, dinner, and dances. He helped orchestrate a photo dash and he made my son’s night by bringing him up behind the booth to “help” him DJ. This was so special and it made our wedding night that much more memorable, especially for my son. While we were planning our wedding Nick not only took time out of his day to speak with us on the phone multiple times but he was always quick to respond to our emails too. It is very apparent that not only does he love what he does but it’s truly his passion. Our wedding day (although a combined effort by multiple people) was flawless. A big thank you is owed to Nick for that. There’s not enough words to express how fantastic Nick is. We would recommend him to anyone having any kind of event that needs a DJ.

I truly cannot say enough good things about Nick, he is funny, professional, and cares that his couples have the time of their lives. Nick gets the party going and keeps it going ALL NIGHT LONG! I had so many guests come up to me at my wedding telling me that Nick was the best DJ they've ever heard! He engages the crowd so well and makes the transitions so smooth. Nick played all the songs on our "must play" and "Guest favorite" lists and stayed far away from our "do not play list". He even broke out his drums which added another layer of fun. Working with Nick was seamless from the very beginning; he guided us through everything and had excellent communication. We had several personalized requests during our ceremony and reception and Nick nailed them all! He helped us make the all-time best remix during our first dance that left our guests speechless. There is no doubt in my mind that Nick Maddalone is the best DJ in the capital district and beyond, BOOK HIM FOR YOUR EVENT BEFORE HE BOOKS UP (because he most certainly will)!!!

Nick was one of the best decisions we made for our 2025 July wedding! He had DJ’d my sisters wedding a year prior and we knew immediately we wanted him to dj ours. My sister and I had pretty different vibes and he was able to cater to both of us! We wanted our wedding to have a “club” feel while still catering to the older crowd snd he absolutely delivered, the dancefloor was packed all night. He was attentive to small details we requested in regards to ceremony + parent dances, and absolutely nailed it when we told him “we trust your judgement!” He even sent us tons of videos after the wedding - many moments we had no recordings of, so we truly appreciated that. Nick was money WELL spent and we felt his prices were beyond fair!! I’d spend it again, easy, and then some!! He’s the absolute best and you NEEEEEED him at your wedding

Nick was a consummate professional from the moment we committed to him as our DJ. my (now) husband and I hired nick for our wedding October 2024 and we could of not found a better entertainer if we TRIED. We had an instant connection with nick, but truly, how could we not?
In the height of my wedding, I told nick to never stop this job, and I meant it! he goes truly above and beyond! not only was he an excellent DJ, but nick truly listens, cares, gets to know you, and overall is one of the kindest, sweetest souls ever. his energy is so welcoming, friendly, and calming but he also completely brings the jokes, the vibes, the personality!

You will not be disappointed when you decide to hire Nick at Maddalone Entertainment, whether for a wedding or other event. We hired Nick as our DJ for our wedding, and with that we not only got the DJ part, but also the entertainment. Nick knows how to have fun and interact with guests the entire night, no matter the age. He let our 2 year old flower girls play with the turntables. Haha, I'm kind of bummed that we only got to see each other for a moment at the wedding! Our phone calls leading up to it made both Ryan and me really take a liking to you -- and I'm a hard one to sell when it comes to artificially sweetened events like weddings. I tend to suspect vendors of not being genuine with their words, which I also understand is part of the job, but is still an undercurrent to my interactions with them. But I was surprised at how willingly Nick gave his time and attention to us, and very impressed by his charisma, way of thinking, and musical tastes. He is truly an inclusive and kind person, and there is a no more obvious truth than that when you speak with him!
Aside from his personality, Nick knows how to go with the flow -- especially when the flow is erratic and unpredictable, like our wedding guests! We had gen Z cousins with that inexplicable gen Z humor, nerdy architect millennials, a small cohort of midlife crisis gen x'ers, and quite a large number of baby boomer grandparents/great aunts/great uncles. It wasn't a super large wedding (around 90 people), so I was definitely worried that the dance barn would end up becoming a no-man's-land. But, Nick is a very talented DJ because he understands drumming and how important transitions are, and he kept the vibe up all night!!

Run don’t walk to Book Nick! It was extremely important to my husband and I that we got the perfect DJ and that I can say was without hesitation that was 100% the case! Nick is truly passionate about what he does. He is able to lead the crowd and get everyone pumped! Everyone told us how great of a DJ he was. We have been to 7 weddings previous to us getting married, so finding the right one was extremely important. He was by far the best DJ EVER! Nick is the best!
Nick is everything you want in a DJ! His energy is contagious and his passion for what he does really shows. We hired Nick after a phone call where we expressed our concerns with having a smaller wedding size, and how we weren't sure if we could really guarantee the group would get on the dance floor. Nick explained how he reads the crowd and determines his song order based on what he sees the guests enjoying. He encouraged us to still do bridal party entrances, as well as a celebration dance to really get the crowd to their feet right from the start! We even got to give him our 'must plays' and 'do not plays'. Nick helped us determine at what minute/second to start and end our first dance and the parent dances. He really was incredibly responses and answered all of our questions, while assisting us in our decision making on the timeline of events for the evening. Nick's drum pad is a HUGE hit with the guests and we will always have those funny memories of watching our family and friends give it a try. Thank you for bringing your infectious energy to our wedding Nick! We hope we can see you again at a wedding in the future! 100% recommend Nick to any couple looking for the best wedding DJ!

An Awesome DJ/Emcee
Nick was a shining example of what every wedding DJ should be; he was friendly, accommodating, upbeat and down to earth. We have a super eclectic music taste so our pre-picked song requests were all over the board and we fully expected there to have to be some compromise on which genre was played more, etc., but that wasn’t the case because Nick did an AMAZING job weaving all the genres together and kept the hits playing all night. I felt like I was at my own personal concert standing in the middle of the dance floor jamming to hit after hit and screaming every lyric. Nick was also super personable and friendly to all the guests who either came up to him or were dancing while he was working the dance floor. He also made an excellent hype man for one or two guests who may have had a little extra liquid courage and were just grooving to their own beat - haha! Finally, we had some last-minute changes to our wedding party lineup to account for and Nick was wonderfully adaptive and just rolled with it, ultimately making our night less stressful. We’d definitely recommend Nick to anyone looking for a fun DJ who is not only great at what he does, but very clearly enjoys doing it!

The Perfect DJ
Nick was absolutely amazing. He read the vibe of the room and kept the perfect genres playing to keep everyone dancing. During the planning process he asked questions to make sure he would play what we love, and not play what we hate. While there were some songs he ended up playing that we didn't recognize, not a single song choice was bad. His excitement for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception picks let us know that he understood what we love about music. Nick also helped out photographer rangle people for portraits and every time he got the chance during the reception he made sure there was nothing either of us needed. There is no one else we would have rather had be our DJ!

Nick is honestly the pinnacle of what you want in a DJ. His personality is so infectious during the reception that there is no dull moment. From the first call to him to the final moments of the reception, he was nothing short of professional and personable. All around amazing!
Nick was right on top of everything! There were no errors the entire day and Nick had everything approved with us ahead of time with a detailed meeting. Nick was even willing to shake it up when my mom wanted to dance in a chicken costume and when we wanted to play games during the reception! One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was hiring Nick as our DJ. From the very beginning, he worked with us and was a friend to us throughout the entire wedding planning process. From our first phone call I knew Nick was the perfect DJ for our wedding day. Nick listened to all of my hopes and concerns regarding getting the right mix of music for our guests and finding songs everyone would love. Made the planning process a breeze and was easy to communicate with. Our ceremony music sounded fantastic outside in congress park. Nick interacts with guests and really gets to know the crowd, playing blackjack or trivia with guests during cocktail hour(if desired). During the reception Nick got everyone pumped up for our entrance and made it the most special moment for us. Throughout the night he accommodated our crazy song requests mixing them in perfectly. I couldn’t stop running onto the dance floor every few minutes for another absolute bop. My feet may be in pain but the memories will last a lifetime!!!

A night to remember
Nick was absolutely amazing. Before the wedding he took the time to talk with us and help guide us with our music choices. Nick was amazing – even our pre-wedding phone calls were fun with him involved. He gave us great guidance on what music would meet our desired vibe and still please the people (lets be real, the music is for the people!!). We heard from many of our guests that Nick was the best DJ they’ve seen and we truly agree with them! He kept the dance floor packed the entire night, came out and joined the fun at times, and was amazing during our introductions, dances, speeches, and just keeping all of our guests engaged. He did an awesome job of playing every single song that we requested ahead of time, balancing the diverse music tastes we have as a couple, and playing the songs our guests all requested, without ever losing the party an having the dance floor empty. Beyond expectations!
Jen and I had our wedding this past weekend 10/1/22, it was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we contacted Nick he was on top of everything. The booking process was simple, his organization is on point with online forms and his reliability when we had questions or concerns were fantastic.
The day of the wedding Nick arrived promptly and ready to go! His equipment is top notch and he definitely knows how to adapt it to the environment he’s working in. He made all our guests feel welcome with the atmosphere he provided.
Nicks attention to details and passion to help people really show when he’s working. It makes all the difference knowing someone has an eye for all the little important details we may not be thinking of or missing.
Jen and I consider Nick apart of our family now. We can’t count the number of comments from guests that loved his performance he put on. I only hope I have another party In the future so I can hire Nick again!

We couldn't have been happier with our experience with Maddalone Entertainment. From beginning to end, Nick was amazing to work with. He helped us every step of the way, from choosing music, to dialing in every detail of the wedding perfectly. We were so impressed by his set up and seamless workflow to deliver amazing music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He had the party BUMPIN' all night and it felt like he knew exactly what to play (along with playing our requested songs).

The Best DJ Out There
Nick was an amazing DJ. He made planning the flow of the reception both easy and fun. He met with us about a week before the wedding and we sat down and discussed the order of events for the reception, what type of music we wanted for cocktail, dinner and dancing. He kept people dancing all night! During cock tail hour he went around and asked our guests trivia questions about us and handed out prizes to those who got it right! My husband decided to wear flamingo socks and have a flamingo liner in his suit because the color of the girls dresses was called "flamingo" and Nick showed up with a flamingo liner in his jacket so he could partake in the theme! Nick will go above and beyond your expectations!

You need to have Nick Maddalone as your DJ! He was the best. His online portal for song requests, timeline and other wedding information is super easy to navigate. He was at our wedding venue early to set up and make sure he was prepared 100%. He engaged the crowd and came onto the dance floor a few times with all of the guests. Hands down the best DJ in the area! Nicks professionalism and knowledge shines through. Being a covid wedding we had to postpone a few times and Nick was so understanding and thankfully available on our rescheduled date! Leading up to our date we chatted on the phone and went over details, songs, etc. Having not met Nick until our wedding, we already felt like we had been friends for a long time due to our phone conversations. Nick is able to get through the details but being his entertainer self, we enjoyed going off tangent about our families and interests. We really felt like we knew Nick so well when the big day came! His knowledge put my husband and I at ease. During our wedding our guest kept commenting on Nicks drum skills (which were so cool!) on his set up! Our guests were on the dance floor all night!
Naturally your wedding day is such a blur but days after when my husband and I talked with friends and family, Nicks DJ skills were topic of conversation. He was easily one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding; his software made filling out our details and song preferences really easy but his ability to read the room and create the perfect atmosphere all night was even better. Nick thinks of every detail, from introducing key songs with special shout-outs and thank-you's, to coordinating the evening on the fly as an incredible MC, and throwing his own twists on top hits with his DJ skills. Nick was a pleasure to be around and kept us rocking until the very last minute.

By far one of the best decisions we made for our wedding was hiring Nick!! I would highly recommend to anyone. From the start Nick made everything so easy. Leading up to our wedding week he answered all of our questions and got on multiple calls to make sure all of the details were set and even helped us to make adjustments on our timeline that ended up working out perfectly. We got so many compliments on how great he was from start to finish. He made sure everyone was out on the dance floor the entire night, young & old! Nick was really awesome to work with. We hired him after he was recommended to us after one of our family members attended a wedding where he was the DJ.
He is a fantastic DJ and no party should be held without him. His talent and attitude is difficult to match, along with his energy (Awesome lip syncing)!!!
Nick is easy to work with, and he plays the songs that fit the couples' style, and he is awesome at choosing and mixing them on the spot. He also gets the guests involved and interacts with everyone. He is not the type of DJ to hit play and walk away. I can't recommend him enough.

Look no further than Maddalone Entertainment for your wedding DJ! My cousins recommended Nick to us as they were having him as the DJ for their wedding. We contacted Nick and he was so friendly, funny, and helpful, we knew we had to have him as our DJ. Nick was so responsive and answered any questions we had during the planning process. He provides music at the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception as well as uplighting, planning forms, and even entertainment for guests during the cocktail hour! We had our final meeting with Nick a few weeks before our wedding, and he made sure every detail was taken care of. We loved having Nick as our DJ for our wedding! He was rock solid every step of the way, and his online interface/portal for picking songs and sending information to him was incredibly helpful. He got all of our favorite songs in at clutch moments throughout the night! He snuck in the groom's favorite lindsey stirling song during the dinner service, got him dancing at the sweetheart table, and we look up and see Nick pointing back at us and living his best life behind the DJ set! All of our guests raved about how awesome the DJ was, and also how funny he was as he did the rounds of the room during the cocktail hour. With all of the covid restrictions we were worried about having a wedding that still felt like a party. From the beginning Nick was always a source of advice and insight through our planning process. Nick was an absolute pleasure to work with. From the very first time we met him, we knew we had found our DJ. He listened to all of our needs and concerns and made it his mission to make everything perfect. He did not fall short of the high expectations we had for him. He really made our day. From the moment he greeted our guests to the quick coat change (we still don’t know how he pulled it off without us seeing) to the very end of the night. He kept everyone engaged in the music and the whole party. Nick has the charisma and talent to get that one person you don’t normally see on the dance floor up and moving. As soon as my husband and I got engaged, I contacted Nick because I wanted to make sure we could have him for our wedding. He was very responsive throughout the whole process and always there for us. Nick checked in the day before the wedding, and i'm glad he did! We had a last minute change that he needed to know about and there was so much going on the day before the wedding that I forgot to contact all my vendors! Because of Nick, I took a moment to myself to think about everyone that needed to know and contacted them. Nick did above and beyond and I will forever remember each part of our wedding- a lot of which had to do with his great entertainment. I heard from so many of our guests that the entertainment at our wedding was one of the best they have ever seen. Nick was amazing to work with from before booking to the very last song!! The communication was excellent and our night went exactly as planned (when it came to the music.) Nick is fun, energetic, flexible and just an all around awesome time. The DJ was very big for my husband and I, as we wanted one huge party! Nick was there for our ceremony as well. All songs were queued perfectly up. Nick was the best MC I could have asked for. He had everyone dancing all night. Everyone from my grandma to my best friends raved about the music and party. Between the Shoely Wed Game, Mad Libs, fantastic music choices, no one was bored at our wedding for even a second! Nick is my cousin so it was no surprise that I would use him for our wedding. However cousin or not I would have used him 10x over! I knew having nick as our dj would make our day and party just as we wanted! All my guests not even knowing we were family kept saying how awesome he was!
