MACKStylist -You Won’t Regret It!

From the beginning of the process to the very end, I couldn’t have been more pleased with MackStylist’s services. I find it important to be able to express my wants and concerns comfortably to a stylist which was never an issue with Mack and her team. Additionally, Mack gives you her honest and professional opinion and suggestions when it comes to styling. When she describes her concerns and reasoning behind any subject, you can really see that she takes everything into consideration (hair type, color, skin tone etc) This was particularly helpful at the trial and speaking with her up to the wedding day.
We had the team travel to our getting-ready location and along the way, had some scheduling changes. They were completely reassuring and adapted to the timeline without any issues!
Mack and her team made the morning (which can be stressful/full of anxiety) such a better experience.
I was and in love with my final look, as well as the bridesmaids and couldn’t have asked for anything better. 5 Stars for MACKStylist !

Beautiful natural look

Mackenzie was incredible to work with both on my wedding day and leading up to it! She worked through any concerns with me and I was obsessed with the final look. As someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup, I really wanted to look like me on my wedding day, and she did the best job creating a natural look. It lasted allllll night even after dancing & sweating from taking pictures on the beach all day. The girls and moms looked amazing as well!! 10/10

I loved working with Mackenzie! She spent as much time as we needed to make sure I felt beautiful. And she always put me at ease and made me laugh! Mackenzie was the first person I saw on my wedding day, and she helped set the great emotional I needed for the whole day!

Mack and her team were incredible. They were easy and so much fun to work with. Mack did an AMAZING job on my hair and makeup. It looked good from start to finish and held up beautifully all night. It also photographed beautifully, but still looked natural which was important to me. I truly have never felt so beautiful and so glad I chose Mack for my big day! Highly recommend.

Mack is so wonderful!

Mackenzie and the Mack Stylist team was so wonderful for my Fall 2023 wedding! First, Mack is thoughtful, listens to you, and also brings all her many years of expertise to the process. I knew I wanted a huge braid and had some photos. During our trial she showed me a style that was close to what I was finding in my images. Then she goes, but I also hear you saying that you want tons of volume. So how about this kind of bubble braid, which is will give us soooo much more volume than we can achieve with the styles you've picked. She really listened, showed me another style that I didn't consider, and it was so beautiful. I have gotten comments about how amazing my hair was months later.

I also got her help with getting extensions and then had Mack do my cut and color, and color match the extensions, the month before the wedding. I love that she has a salon as does weddings because she got to know me so much better through doing my hair.

We had 16 girls getting hair and make up done and we looked beautiful, were done on time, and I can't wait to see all our final photos. I will post some photos when I get them back.

TLDR: LOVE them! Am going BACK TO MACK as my hair stylist. The compliments won't stop coming about my wedding hair.

Mack Stylist Review

Mackenzie and her team were absolutely amazing! We had a party of 19 people, and they had everyone ready (makeup and hair) well before the deadline for photos. Going through the trail with Mackenzie was so helpful. As someone who doesn’t have much skill with hair and makeup, Mackenzie walked me through the process and tried several different styles. Day of the wedding, Mackenzie and her whole team were so professional. They were onsite by 7:30 to get the ball rolling. They worked so well with my whole party accommodating different hair and skin types to make sure everyone looked their best. And on top of that my hair and makeup stayed looking great throughout the whole night. I could not recommend enough using Mackenzie for your upcoming wedding!!

Very pleased

We were very pleased with Mack Stylist for our wedding hair and makeup and would definitely use them again or recommend them to a friend. Mack, Gabrielle, and Riley showed up right on time and had everyone’s hair and makeup done almost an hour before we had to leave. Each person wanted a different style of hair and makeup, and they all turned out beautiful. For example, I wanted a French twist and my sister wanted an updo with no heat applied to her hair.

Incredible Hair and Makeup for Wedding Day

I had an amazing experience with Mack Stylist. My hair stylist was Mackenzie and my make-up artist was Gabrielle. Gabrielle coordinated all of the details seamlessly, quickly responding to any of my questions about the booking/pricing/logistics.

Two months before my wedding, I went into the salon for my make-up trial, and Gabrielle made tweaks based on my feedback, and she made me feel very heard and gave me the look I wanted on my wedding day. She had me take pictures throughout the day to see how the make-up wore, and ultimately, we decided to switch from lip gloss to lip stick for the big day.

The day of was so easy - Mackenzie and Gabrielle showed up on-time, were always ahead of schedule, and made all four of my moms feel beautiful. They were always willing to make any modifications to hair and make-up styles based on my wedding party's (four moms and one sister-in-laws) preferences. Mackenzie and Gabrielle spent significant time on me, giving me the exact look I wanted on my wedding day. I am extremely grateful to them and how perfect my look turned out.

Included in my booking was a complimentary blowout for my rehearsal dinner, which was amazing and made everything so much easier. HIGHLY RECOMMEND MACK STYLIST.

Great Hair & Makeup Team!

My wedding coordinator recommended Mack Stylist for hair / makeup on my wedding day. I wasn’t sure what to expect since I don’t often get my hair and make up done, but Mackenzie and Gabrielle did an amazing job! They worked with me to make sure that I loved my look, listening to me and making slight adjustments. My bridesmaids and the moms looked so good, and the hair and makeup all stayed through the end of the night! Definitely recommend this team!

Beautiful, creative, fun wedding day hair and make up

Mack and her team were the perfect support system on our wedding day! I really wanted someone who could create a vision for my look with my dress and decor and Mack killed it. Her and her team also did hair and make up for all of the ladies involved in the day and did a stellar job; super efficient, fun to be around, and attentive to detail. Loved my experience and would recommend them 10/10!

Amazing Wedding HMU!

I couldn't have been happier with Mack and her team doing my hair and makeup for my wedding along with my whole bridal party. From the trial to the wedding, working with Mack was amazing. She is so talented and is a true artist with a vision - I came in to my trial with an idea of what I wanted and after getting a sense of my style, wedding dress, and venue, Mack suggested a different hair style that I ended up loving more than my original idea and which went so well with the vibe of my wedding - all without pressuring me and still making sure I was comfortable with it! On the day of my wedding, Mack's team did a great job of getting me, 2 moms, and 11 bridesmaids ready to go in a tight timeframe and made all of my bridesmaids look beautiful but still like themselves, which is exactly what we wanted! I'm so happy I got to work with Mack and her team and think they will make any bride feel like the most beautiful version of herself!

Started our day off on the best foot

Mack and her team are a dream team. We had to start the day very early and they all arrived on time and ready to work. There was limited time and so many people to get through that I was nervous about our time line... but guess this we were done ahead of time!! Mack is excellent and knows her stuff. When I first met her, I went to her salon because the last person who colored my hair over processed it and it was so dead. She helped salvage my hair for the wedding with a specific treatment schedule and boy am I grateful. The day of the wedding, I loved my whole look. Gabby crushed my makeup and I got compliments all night about it and how natural it looked. Mack is honest and does offer feedback to people, and I appreciate this about her. I can't think of one person from my wedding party who didn't have rave reviews about Mack and her team. Thank You!!!!

Dream Glam Team

I would 100% recommend Mack Stylist to all brides! From the moment we made first contact and set up our plans, to the moments before I left to head to the church for our ceremony Mackenzie was fun, creative, organized and incredibly talented. All of my bridesmaids, my mom, my husbands mom and myself had the best morning getting glammed by Mackenzie and her team! Every look was better than we had dreamed on, and the team really worked to accentuate our natural beauty. As a bride, I really enjoyed the pre-wedding process with Mack Stylist. Having the discount on services at Artist Haus salon was incredible, and made it possible for my hair to be really healthy on my wedding day. Planning and testing out styles on our trial helped me to feel confident in my style choices, and got me SO excited. Mackenzie is such a pro she truly is prepared for anything that can come up. On the day of my wedding it was completely down pouring. I kept my cool, but was bummed. Mackenzie kept the mood light and cheerful and immediately touched base with me about elements of my look I could reconsider based on the weather. My final look was better than I could have dreamed and I felt beyond confident.

Absolutely Perfect!

Because of Mack and her team I have never felt more beautiful in my life! The entire process from the hair & make up trial to the morning of my wedding was easy and just perfect. Perfect Wedding Hair and Make Up-- Highly Recommend!

Mack Stylist did the hair and makeup for my wedding on May 11, 2019 and everything was professional and absolutely perfect! My emails were answered promptly and scheduling everything was a breeze. At my trial both my hair and makeup came out even better than I could've imagined on the first try-- I went into my wedding day with peace of mind that was invaluable. On the morning of the wedding the stylists arrived early, delivered exactly what each bridesmaid and family member wanted, and even finished ahead of schedule! The bridal party looked gorgeous and still looked picture perfect as the night went on. Wedding guests commented throughout the night how amazing everyone's hair and makeup was and one wedding guest even went ahead to book Mack Stylist for their upcoming wedding! I would absolutely recommend booking your wedding with them!

Never Felt More Beautiful

I cannot say enough about Mackenzie and her team. I was looking for someone I felt comfortable hanging out with for hours on my wedding day and who understood my specific style. The Mack Stylist team was the perfect squad for the job. Mackenzie helped me color and cut my hair a few months before and then absolutely nailed my wedding day look. Our makeup artist Jayduh understood my vision no problem and was so fun to be around. I have never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day. My bridesmaids and the mothers were breathtaking. More importantly Mack and Jayduh made us feel comfortable, listened to everyone, and fit in with our crew like old girlfriends. I can't wait for my next special event so I can book them again but will be back to the salon for haircuts as often as possible!

Beautiful HAIR!!!!!!

I have been lucky enough to work with Mackenzie for a few years doing hair for weddings! I was pumped to have her and Nicole be a part of my BIG day. I knew when I met her, I would have her do my hair for my wedding. She has some serious talent. Mackenzie and Nicole(also super talented!) made all the girls feel and look great. Styles that last all day are what you need on such a long day, and they did not fail. I loved knowing I would not have to worry about anyone being unhappy. We all looked great, and had such fun starting our day with Mack and Nicole!

I was lucky enough to have experience with MACK because my best friend also used them for her wedding. With that said, I could not have imagined what an amazing job they would have done for my own wedding. Mackenzie and Kelly did such a beautiful job making me, my bridesmaids, and my mom all look our absolute best. Each of us felt fantastic. So many guests at the wedding commented on my makeup and especially my hair. I had purchased a beaded halo, which Mackenzie used in such a unique way - it went perfectly with my dress. She really has a great talent. Even leading up to the wedding, Mackenzie was super helpful and always got right back to me with any questions I had. Loved working with Mackenzie and her crew!! I was searching for a hair and makeup artist to come onsite for my wedding at the Hotel Monaco this past summer and Mack was a perfect fit! Not only did she do phenomenal work on the day of the wedding, she helped me in the months leading up to the big day getting my very dark brown hair lightened so it would be perfect for July! Mackenzie and her team are amazing! The trial went well, her planner Lauren is so responsive and helpful, and day-of the team arrived EARLY for a 6:30am start and did an incredible job on hair and makeup for all the bridesmaids, MOB, and bride. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my bridal makeup and hair!

Mackenzie and her team did a FANTASTIC job on our wedding day. I'd met with her a few times before the wedding, and she'd given me great color and products. The day of the wedding, Mackenzie did my make-up and Allison did my hair. Of course, I was thrilled with both. While every team wants to make sure the bride is happy and looks great, though, what was truly telling was that all of my bridesmaids, my mom, and even the flower girls absolutely loved them as well. Everyone was done on time and looked fantastic. Several of the engaged guests at our wedding even asked who had done our hair and makeup because everyone across the board looked so great. I cannot recommend them enough.

Mack Stylist was amazing! I do not think I can do them justice in a review. My trial was great, Mack and Jen listened to me ramble about things and looks I like - none of which was cohesive, and read through it and created the perfect look for me and my wedding. Day of, they were there early and prompt and my mom and bridesmaids could not stop talking about how much they liked working with them. Even my photographer remarked at how professional and with it they were and how it made his job so much easier! You will NOT go wrong using Mack Stylist for your wedding!

Jen from Mack Stylist did an amazing job with our makeup on my wedding day! My makeup was absolutely perfect - I got SO many complements on it. My wedding planner Jennifer Supper directed me to Mack and her team and I couldn't be more grateful. I initially went to see Mack for a trial but something got messed up and I found out that she was actually booked for my wedding day. Mack ended up setting me up with Nicck and Dutchess and I fell in love with them. Nicck is an extraordinary make up artist whose personality is out of this world. He had me cracking up the entire trial and the day of my wedding, which was exactly what I needed. I don't usually wear makeup on a daily basis, but Nicck made me feel comfortable and most importantly beautiful. I let him do his thing and did not direct him in any way and he blew it out of the park. Dutchess is a little more laid back but still funny as hell and we got along very well. Both Dutchess and Nicck worked very well together and were such a pleasure to be around. I gave Dutchess full range of my hair and she did not disappoint. I have not stopped getting compliments on both my hair and makeup and all my guests were impressed that my lip stick stayed on and my hair stayed in place all day long. They were on time and cheerful even at 8:00am on a Saturday morning and I can't thank them enough for making me look so beautiful. I have honestly never looked so good in my entire life. Mack has now become my full time hair stylist and I love her!!! She does awesome work and again, my hair has never looked so good. I will continue to see Mack for all my hair needs and you should most definitely schedule an appointment with her and her team. Thank you for everything <3 Laurie Damario

After a few failed trials with other vendors, I booked a trial with Mackenzie for my wedding and was initially disappointed when I found out she had been booked for my wedding day. I ended up trialing with Kelly for hair and T Patrick for makeup and all disappointment went out the door. Instead of trying to copy my inspiration pictures exactly like other vendors, they both customized my look to me based on my inspiration pictures. The end result was a look that worked for me personally while still retaining the feeling and overall look I was going for. Something other vendors had failed to do. And they were so much fun to work with on the day of the wedding. My bridal party and my mom looked and felt amazing and everyone had such a good time working with Kelly and T Patrick. Kelly did an awesome job and my hair looked so pretty and continued to look amazing all night long. Everyone's hair stayed gorgeous through to the end of the reception. And T Patrick nailed my wedding day makeup. We had some caking around my eyes (oily and hooded eyes) after the trial so he made an adjustment for the day of the wedding and I looked perfect all day long! I should also add that I got my hair cut and colored by Mackenzie a few days before the wedding and she did a great job of giving me some style without taking length and matching my hair and extensions. I felt gorgeous and confident all day and I really want to thank Kelly, T Patrick, and Mackenzie for that. It made such a difference having a great team behind me. You guys were the best and seriously one of my favorite parts of my wedding day!

If you are looking for on location hair and make-up styling for your wedding I would absolutely recommend Mack Styling. My nine bridesmaids, my mom, and I all had hair and make-up done. Even with this huge wedding party, we were ready on schedule and every one of us was happy! Mackenzie made sure things went smoothly. She was even able to add on extra assistants the week before my wedding to ensure we would be finished on time. Mackenzie and Jen made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. I have been in wedding parties before and not liked my hair so I was nervous that would happen on my wedding day but you'll have no reason to be nervous if you go with Mack Styling. They made us feel so at ease and would not have let us not be happy with how we looked. My bridesmaids have commented several times since my wedding how much they liked their hair/make-up that day. If you are thinking of booking them for your wedding, do it!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience on my wedding day! Mackenzie and Jen were the best! They are true professionals who are both so talented and just amazing to work with. I got married on a VERY hot day in July and they worked their magic to make us feel comfortable and look beautiful- not a hair out of place!
I had four bridesmaids and they were all so impressed with Mackenzie and Jen. We received so many compliments throughout the night. We truly enjoyed spending the morning with them while we were getting ready--thank you so much!!

The stylists were so attentive and really listened to what I wanted and needed. They were even ready to drive us to the church when our limo was way late! Professional, friendly and knowledgeable are the best way to describe them. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have minimal stress and look amazing for their special day!

Mackenzie flew out to the Bahamas to style 7 bridesmaids and myself. Prior to this, I had my trial with her which couldn't have gone smoother. I brought a few photos with me to give her an idea of how I wanted to look on my special day. She noted exactly the look I was going for and executed flawlessly on 3 hairstyles, and two makeup looks. She made me feel like I was in the exact hands I needed to be and that proved to be more than true!

In the Bahamas, she styled me for my welcome party and wedding day. I have truly never received more compliments on my hair and makeup. I felt better than a celebrity. Her energy is amazing, her vision goes unmatched, and her ability to execute is why she receives 5 stars and will be styling me for many events to come.

My wedding was held outdoors in the Bahamas on an island, so it was as bright as bright gets. Our makeup looked natural with the perfect amount of glam and my hair stayed the ENTIRE night - inclusive of a boat ride to and from the island location of my ceremony and reception. What else could a bride and bridal party ask for? On top of all of this, she was welcoming and patient with all of the different personalities and requests that you could imagine receiving from 8 girls on a wedding day :)

For me, it was an easy choice to pick Mack Stylist for hair and make-up services for my wedding day. I'd started going to Mackenzie for my regular hair cuts after my cousin recommended her. I'd been in search of a stylist that could advise me on the best cut and style for my hair type, rather than ask me to direct them and Mackenzie was able to do that for me with great results. I got to see some examples of her editorial and bridal work and was impressed, so for me it was a no-brainer. As I'd hoped, Mackenzie was able to help advise me on realistic bridal styles for my hair type and was able to achieve the exact look and feel I was hoping for, simply by asking me to describe the look I'd wanted-- as "romantic", "vintage", etc. She is truly an artist in this respect. As a bride I was expecting to receive compliments on my dress, but I can not tell you how many compliments I received on my hair! Mackenzie really helped to make me feel beautiful on my wedding day. Additionally she and her team are true professionals--they showed up to my wedding venue on time and quickly worked through my large wedding party (six girls getting their hair done and eight getting make-up in addition to myself!). I'd been worried about scheduling enough time to do so and Mackenzie helped me create a timeline for the day--she is clearly an experienced professional and I did not have to worry at all about timeline or the quality of her services. All of my bridesmaids were really happy with their hair and make-up-- Mackenzie was able to handle all of their different hair types, textures and lengths and each was really happy with the results. I would definitely recommend Mack Stylist to any bride!

Mackenzie did such a great job - she was exactly what I needed for the day of my wedding. I don't typically wear a lot of makeup, and Mackenzie was wonderful about listening to what I wanted and what my concerns were and she made me look like the best version of myself. She and her assistant Kelsey made all my bridesmaids look and feel amazing - and our mothers loved their hair and makeup too. She was reasonably priced and was very flexible (as I changed the amount of services sort of last minute). She came early, was lovely to work with and made sure every strand of hair was in place. I'd definitely recommend Mackenzie!

Mack Stylist did my hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party for my 9/6/15 wedding. They were AMAZING!!! Mackenzie is so talented and creative I couldn't have asked for a better experience on my big day! I have been in quite a few weddings on the area where I had to get my hair and makeup done and Mackenzie and her team are by far the most the best that I have experienced! My whole bridal party loved their hair and makeup , I will definitely be returning to Mackenzie as a client for any future hair styling needs. Mackenzie and her team of stylist (Kelsey and Meg!!) are AMAZING! From the beginning I knew I would love working with Mack - she's laid back, professional, fun and really has an amazing talent for hearing what I wanted and making it happen. And then BOOM - she goes and takes it 10 steps further the day of the wedding! Oh and did I mention, she showed up with a bottle of bubbly for me and my girls?! The team was on time (actually 15 min early so they could set up and start on time!). They even worked with us to squeeze in some last minute additions, so all 8 of my girls got hair/make-up done.

Brides– if you’re looking for a stylist and team of professionals to take your wedding-day look a few steps further than the magazines, HIRE THEM NOW!! You, your spouse and your pics will thank you!!

What I loved:
- Mack gave me the trust and confidence to take my vision and turn it up a few notches. Her team was quick and personable, everyone was having a great time. It felt like we had 3 extra girlfriends getting us dolled up.
- The team does not cake on foundation or blush, I repeat, does not. Mack and the team put on just the right amount to hold up all night, but no one looked like a “cake-clown.”
- My hair is super thin – but no one would have known it with the products and technique Mack used (no extensions needed). My hair looked full, awesome and never moved once. And we danced, A LOT!
- My girls looked gorgeous and literally were the best “version’s” of them I had ever seen.
- Icing on the cake…feeling like a supermodel on the day of the wedding and then having my husband look at me in awe when I reached the end of the isle…priceless! My best and most valued compliment by far.

Mack has remained my stylist even after the wedding because, well, she’s awesome. I really can't recommend her and her team enough!

I needed to find a new hair and make up team 3 weeks before my wedding- I was panicked to say the least. But after having been through 2 other trials I was so happy with Kelsey and Megan. Mackenzie styled my hair for my engagement shoot and for my wedding. Friends of mine had used Mackenzie as their hair stylist for their own weddings so I knew from the beginning I was in good hands. Mackenzie was helpful, friendly and patient throughout my two hair trial appointments I had before my wedding. On the day of my wedding she showed up on time and excited for my big day. She gently pulled me aside and mentioned that weather forecast for the day was saying it was going to be super humid and double checked I still wanted to wear my hair down. I decided to still wear my hair down and Mackenzie styled my hair so that it looked exactly the way I wanted it to the entire day and into the night. Mackenzie was also able to quietly handle a hair problem one of my bridesmaids was having. Mackenzie was really kind about the whole thing and she didn't make my bridesmaid's problem my problem because she was able to solve the problem without getting me involved. My mom made me aware of the entire situation the day after my wedding and was praising Mackenzie for how well she took control of the situation. Mackenzie has worked with the my wedding photographer before so she was able to use my "hot sheet" wedding day timeline and created a schedule for when she would be styling each bridesmaid's hair and my mom's hair. Everyone's hair looked amazing and I am so grateful to Mackenzie for all of her hard work. I also LOVE that I was able to pay for everything before morning of the wedding. It was one less thing I needed to worry about that morning. My wedding day was perfect thanks to Mackenzie!

Mackenzie was amazing. She was professional and sweet and accommodating. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup and had a wonderful time getting it done. Mack Stylist was originally not our choice for our wedding. After I went on a terrible bridal trial at another salon, I was in a frantic search for another stylist. I was so lucky to come across Mack Stylist. Not only was Mackenzie able to do my wedding with only a month and half notice, she was also easy to get in contact with and showed sincere empathy when I told her my horrible experience at another salon. She was able to quickly schedule a bridal trial for me and my fiancé (also a bride). We were blown away with her work. She spent time styling three different looks for me without rushing. Our makeup artist Kiyana was amazing as well. Both Mack and Kiyana made us (the brides) as well as our bridal party and mothers feel comfortable and worked hard all morning long the day of our wedding to ensure everyone looked their best. When minor hiccups occurred and things became flustered (typical wedding chaos) Mack and Kiyana kept us calm and on track. We had the best time and everyone looked amazing. My fiancé, who normally would not wear makeup, Kiyana was able to work with her to put on just the right amount of makeup and she looked amazing. I would recommend Mack Stylist and literally tell anyone I can to go to them for bridal and wedding hair and makeup services. Thank you Mackenzie and Kiyana!!!!

I used Mack Stylist for hair and make-up the morning of my wedding, and all the stylists did an outstanding job! They were prompt, professional, and stayed right on schedule. I had 8 bridesmaids, the mothers of the bride and groom, and myself all scheduled for hair and make-up, and the stylists pulled it off with time to spare. Mackenzie did my hair and make-up for my engagement photos and wedding! She also did my bridesmaids and moms. She did such an amazing job! She is incredibly professional and is a true artist! My hair does not hold a curl, no matter how much hairspray i put in my hair, it will fall after 20 minutes. However, on my wedding day she got my hair to stay! After 8 hours, my hair was still curled! My make-up was beautiful, I still looked like me but better! I have one eye and eyebrow on one side of my face is not quite symmetrical and thankfully we found this out during my trial. She was able to play around and make me symmetrical before my wedding day. After this i totally understand why people have trials. I was so happy that we were able to figure out how to make this work before hand. I have also been getting my hair cut by Mackenzie since my engagement shoot and continue to go to mack stylist for it. I cannot recommend her enough!

Kelsey and Nicck made sure that my bridesmaids and I looked fabulous on my wedding day. They are so nice and receptive to changes we wanted. It's not easy for everyone to be pleased with a make-up or hairstyle, but they really made each lady so beautiful and happy! Easy to work with and very talented people! I recommend looking at their website, the facebook page, look through all the photos- all brides and models are CONSISTENTLY beautiful. That was the biggest thing when I was looking for a hair/makeup vendor-- I would like one look, but maybe not others by the same vendor. They were the only salon that seemed to have consistency with quality. I loved every look that MackStylist has created!

I found Mack Stylist by a random search and I am so happy I chose them! Throughout the whole process they were accommodating and easy to work with. They listened to everything I wanted but added their expertise to heighten the end product. Kelsey, my hair stylist was very talented and I even opted to have her cut my hair a few weeks before the wedding to really get the look I wanted. She spent a lot of time with me to get it right and I couldn't have been happier with the end result. From the moment I connected with MackStylist, Mackenzie was professional, helpful and made me feel very comfortable and at ease. The first time I walked into the salon was for my bridal hair & makeup trial. I was a little nervous and anxious not knowing what to expect. But everyone (Ahn, Jaclynn & Nick) was soOOOo incredibly nice, fun and supportive!!! I highly recommend the bridal trial! It allows you to get an idea of what to expect for the big day. I chose to put the hair & makeup trial to great use for our engagement shoot. Not only was I amazed by the final results at the salon, I was able to see how the hair & makeup translated in our engagement photos (which were amazing by the way)!

The day of the wedding, Jaclynn (hair) & Ahn (makeup) arrived on time and were professional, focused and extremely efficient! They were so efficient that they completed 5 bridesmaids, 1 MOB and 1 bride ahead of schedule! Everyone looked simply gorgeous!!! The icing of the cake was how fun they were and how much all of my bridesmaids enjoyed their time with both girls! Throughout the whole day, I felt beautiful and confident! My hair and makeup withstood all my bouncing, dancing and goofing around! My hair did not move!!! AMAZING!!! My mom and all my bridesmaids were also breath taking and the hair and makeup stayed beautiful all day!

Recently, I received my photos from my wedding and all I can say is “WOW”! The hair and makeup look amazing and perfect! I was looking for a stylist who could create timeless elegance and beauty and MackStylist NAILED IT!!! I received the most wonderful compliments from so many people! I cannot thank MackStylist enough for everything they did for me! Throughout the whole day of the wedding (and throughout the whole engagement) I never once worried about hair or makeup because I knew I had the BEST! I highly recommend MackStylist to everyone!!!

They really listened to what I had envisioned and they certainly delivered on the look. The morning of my wedding could not have gone better in terms of the services provided. Kelsey and Nicck were on time and worked quickly but carefully and made sure that we had plenty of time and attention for everyone involved. They were even more than happy to fit in an extra hair and makeup service than we had planned originally. They made all of my friends and family that stopped by feel comfortable and above all, they put me at ease and created a truly beautiful look for my special day. Nicck and Kelsey were my lifesavers on the day of my wedding! I was a very calm bride up until 6 hours before photos, ceremony and the reception.
I planned every detail: a rain plan, too hot plan, everyone had a plan A/B for any and all problems! However, it seemed like everyone had a problem on the day of. My mom had anxiety, my mother-in-law was stressed and ruined the calm mood, the sister -in-law was all ready drinking and thought she was in the spot light.
My sister, Nicck and Kelsey put everyone in their place! Nicck took me out of the room to "breathe" , scream and do a shot of vodka! It was needed! Kelsey was there to let me cry and did fixed my hair 3 times. Nicck had to fix my make-up many times.
Both Kelsey and Nicck came early to my hotel. It was great, they asked who would be the problem, what I wanted done with everyone and it give a signal if I was starting to feel stressed! They also stayed for an extended period for all touch ups.
Both Nicck and Kelsey made my group feel comfortable and calm. They saved the day! I am so grateful for them!

I actually came across Mack Stylist on The Knot (and then looked up on wedding wire) and booked them over a year in advance for my October 2014 wedding. Working with the whole bridal team was awesome; everyone I ever spoke to at the salon was nothing but nice. Imogen (the bridal coordinator) was super helpful the entire process and worked with me to add an assistant the week of and hatch out a schedule for myself, 5 bridesmaids, our officant, and 3 moms. Our beauty team of Nicck, Kelsey and Megan were awesome and gave each person the look they wanted. They were also amazing people and made our getting ready process so much fun! As the bride, I wanted something different and edgier than most and they delivered exactly what I wanted. I received so many compliments on my look. It was everything I wanted and so much more. Kelsey really killed it on giving me big, volumized hair (ie; Reese Witherspoon in Water for Elephants). The entire wedding party looked awesome! My one bridesmaid hair was a little challenge and both Kelsey and Megan worked on it. In the end it wasn't exactly what she was picturing but it was still well done and she looked beautiful :) I really can't thank them enough for their services. I would recommend Mack Stylist to any bride to be. They do great work and in my opinion worth the money. They are really willing to work with you to achieve the looks you want on your big day. They will travel to you on your day, but their salon where I had my trial is really nice as well. I would recommend all brides get airbrushing as well. I added it that day and it made my make-up last forever!! Booking Mack Stylist was one of the best choices I made for my wedding party.

I cannot say enough about Mack Stylist. Everyone at Mack is very talented and so much fun to work with. Mackenzie was so helpful and understanding throughout the whole process of setting up the contract and me asking questions. For the wedding day, I had Nicck for make-up and Kelsey for hair. I had bridesmaids, mother of the bride and groom, and myself having both hair any makeup done. I loved everything! Especially my make-up, it was AMAZING! I am just sad that I can not look that great every day.

My wedding day hair and make up was more important to me than the dress! I'm extremely picky about the make up I put on my face and anyone coming close to my head with a curling iron! I was planning my wedding in PA from Florida and picked most of my vendors based on other bridal reviews. I found Mack Stylist on wedding wire and knew from that second I had to book them after I viewed the website. I signed my contract over a year in advance to ensure I'd have the best hair and make up team out there!! Mack was easy to correspond with, I scheduled a trial, cancelled my trial and rescheduled again and each time I was apologetic, Mack didn't seem to mind. I had my trial in August 2014 with Jaclynn (hair) and Kiyana (make up). I showed them pictures of my dress, my venue and a few pins from pinterest I liked. The whole process took about 90 minutes and I was super excited about the results. I was on the fence about the airbrush but Kiyana explained why it was my best option.
On my wedding day both Jaclynn and Kiyana drove over 2 hrs to get to my hotel to do the make up for my bridal party. They were both on time and very professional. My hair and make up turned out better than the trial and all my bridesmaids/MOB looked amazing!! I wish I lived closer to them so that they could do my hair and make up for every event I go too. Instead, I'll share how awesome they are with all of you!!

Totally worth the money, yes they are a little pricey, but it's completely worth it. You get what you pay for and I've got over 800 wedding photos where my hair and make up and my bridal party look flawless!

This Salon is AMAZING!!!!! The talent of the team at Mack Stylist is absolutely unbelievable. I got a trial for my hair and makeup and was really happy with the results, but my makeup and hair the day of my wedding completely surpassed my wildest dreams. Jaclyn and Nicck were a great team, and helped all of my girls look amazing! In addition to great talent, the salon has a awesome atmosphere of modern/edgy design. It was great place for me and my girls to get pampered for my day! Kelsey was amazing! I went for a trial and also a haircut/color prior to my wedding day and the whole team was really great. Imogen was helpful in maintaining correspondence and Kelsey was incredibly flexible in fitting me into her schedule. All of my guests commented on how great my bridal party's hair looked. Was a little pricey, but nothing unexpected given the Philadelphia market. Would definitely recommend them to anybody looking for a good hair stylist.

Working with Mack Stylist was easy and enjoyable from day one. Mackenzie and her team are very professional, helpful, responsive and their work is amazing! At my trial, Mackenzie and Nicck listened to my requests and concerns and I felt comfortable speaking up if I wanted something changed. The day of the wedding was seamless. Mackenzie and Nicck showed up exactly on time and ready to go. They helped me, my mother, and bridesmaids get all dolled up. They were complete professionals that kept us on schedule and made suggestions to the bridesmaids on hair and makeup that would compliment each of them and work together as a group. Mackenzie and Jess were a dynamic and mega creative team. I think what I loved most about Mack Stylist was their ability to take my original idea and just make it a work of art. It was no longer the Kiera Knightly hair style I found but they transformed it into an original "Aimee" look. I have never felt more beautiful in my whole life and my bridesmaids and mother were all stunning compliments to the overall look. I didn't feel overly made up either, it was super retro chic but I still felt like me which is how every bride should feel. Apart from the beauty aspect Mack and her team are incredibly professional and the line of communication was always open. If you hire Mack Stylist, and you really should, one thing I would recommend is to not be too controlling. They are pros and know what they're doing. If you don't like something they will listen, but I really feel it came together in such a beautiful way because I kept an open mind and trusted in their talent. Bravo!

I couldn't have been more thrilled with Allison from Mack Stylist. She and an assistant did hair for nine women on my wedding day (me, two mothers, six bridesmaids) and everyone looked amazing - polished, soft, natural and classic. They were efficient, calm and organized. Allison did my hair exactly as I wanted it, and built volume and hold so that it last perfectly the whole night (which ended up being over 12 hours!). I couldn't have been happier, and would highly recommend her, and Mack Stylist in general.

They are extremely talented and professional. I couldnt be happier with my decision to use this company. I knew at my trial I was going to us this team. They made me feel comfortable and were very honest of my expectations. Mack also kept me very calm throughout the morning of my wedding when she saw nerves start to build. I can't say enough positive things about Mack and her team! I chose Mackenzie after reading so many positive reviews about her services. I did my own hair for my wedding, but needed someone to do my makeup and to do both hair and makeup for my bridesmaids. I do not wear much makeup on a regular basis- so on my wedding day I just wanted to look like an extra pretty version of myself, and Mackenzie totally understood that. I went for a trial and she did such an amazing job I did not have one worry in my mind that I would look great on my wedding day. Mackenzie and someone from her team that came to do hair (so sorry I forget her name!) were on time and very professional. Mack has such a great personality and makes you feel incredibly comfortable from the get go – an energy that is perfect to have around you on your wedding day. When you are mother of the bride and your style guru sister calls you "Heather Locklear" and 30-year-olds are hitting on you on the dance floor (ew, creepy I know but still somewhat flattering!), you know your hair and makeup team did an over-the-top job! We had such fun with Mackenzie and Lakisha during the "get-pretty" party before the wedding! They are talented, professional, adorable and fun! They made each gorgeous young lady in our bridal party look her best! Yes, you can have an updo with shorter hair, you can wear your just a perfect way with your bridal veil and they take your style suggestions and turn them into swoon-worthy looks. Alison at Mack Stylist was AMAZING!!!! I had such anxiety about what to do with my hair.. I even had a dreams about it! I wanted to wear my hair down with loose curls but I was afraid that my asian pin straight hair wouldn't hold a curl for the life of me… but she assured me that the curls would hold and sure enough they did!!! Mackenzie was referred to me by my matron of honor and best friend, and I was not disappointed. To start with, she and her team were so welcoming during my trial appointment. I brought my mom with me and they made both of us feel so welcome. Mackenzie wanted to know about me as a person as well as the style and feel of our wedding. Mackenzie was very straightforward with her plan for my hair and make-up for the wedding, and I felt completely comfortable after the trial. I knew ahead of time what time we would start on the day of the wedding, and she allowed me to switch the order of bridesmaids, mothers, etc. I really appreciated that flexibility. My hair presented a few challenges the day of the wedding, and Mackenzie assured me that she would would stay and work until I was 100% thrilled with it... and that was the result. On top of her professionalism, Mackenzie is a joy to be around and to talk with. We had fun listening to our "girls-getting-ready" playlist and just chatting as everyone got ready and dressed. Mackenzie is an incredibly talented and intuitive hair stylist. I should also mention that she is highly responsive via email, professional and timely. I first met Mackenzie when I went for a hair trial with my mother in law. I wasn't sure what I wanted and Mackenzie further confused me, but only because she was so talented! In the course of an hour, she gave me about 5-6 different hair styles - some which I had conveyed I was interested in, some that were traditional hairstyles and some that pushed the envelop a little bit. It gave me a lot to think through and really helped me make a better informed decision for the day of my wedding (otherwise, I would have always been wondering about whether I should have done a full updo. Just like trying on several different dress styles, trying on several different hair styles really helped me (eventually) make up my mind and find my own style). Although, I must confess I left her studio that day thoroughly confused, but only because I loved each hair style she did more than the last. Mackenzie's talent is further illustrated by the AMAZING job she did literally making over my mother in law's hair. Her hair was very short and dated and we weren't sure what to do with it. Mackenzie ended up giving her a fabulous hair cut that made her look up to date and probably look off 15 years (she has since been keeping up the hair cut and continues to look fabulous!). The day of the wedding, Mackenzie came through again, making a believer out of my skeptical mother who did not want her hair done -- and then she spent the whole night and the next day loving the hair style Mackenzie had given her. Also, Mackenzie is part mind-reader because I was having trouble articulating just want I wanted . . . and then poof! she pulled my hair up just how I was thinking. I highly recommend using Mack Stylist for your wedding. You will not be disappointed with her talent, taste and professionalism.

Mack Stylist really listened to what I wanted for both my hair and makeup. I was worried they would put on too much makeup for my wedding so decided to go with a trial and Lakeesha listened to everything I wanted and was so wonderful about it. Both Mack and Lakeesha did such a perfect job during my trial, I didn't change a thing for the day of my wedding. My mom also wasn't in love with her makeup at first at the wedding and Lakeesha was so great, she changed it and was perfectly happy about doing it. Mack Stylist is a great company! They managed to take care of me (the bride), 6 bridesmaids, a flower girl, mother of the bride and mother of the groom and all by about 3 pm the day of the wedding. Everyone looked amazing and we had a great time hanging in the bridal suite while Lakisha (makeup) and Allison (hair) got us ready. Sweet, funny and professional. Not to mention they made us look great! (They even came a little early to make sure there was enough time!)

Mackenzie and her team do beautiful work! Among all the chaos the morning of the wedding they worked their magic and got us all done just in time (i had 11 people total needing hair & makeup). Mackenzie and Lakeisha (her amazing makeup artist) kept me calm while getting ready, and made me feel GORGEOUS for my wedding day. All of my bridesmaids and both of the moms looked spectacular. And i love that she steers clear from the traditional updos and creates an awesome look!

Mackenzie and her team of stylists were amazing on my wedding day. From the day of my trial to the actual day of, all of the communication and planning was easy and care-free. She was able to style the look I was trying to create even better than I had imagined. She was very professional but also really friendly and personable. I love her! And she does stunning work, I would highly recommend her. And her makeup artist was also exceptional. Myself and all of my bridal party were overly impressed with how our makeup looked.

TRUE ARTISTS! I could never have imagined a hairstyle that she created, it was a masterpiece! I felt stunning and glamorous on my wedding day, what more could I have asked for?!

Mackenzie was AMAZING on my wedding day. SHe made me and my Girls look amazing. She was sweet, professional and flexible. I couldn't imagine my wedding day without her. We all had so many compliments :) any bride would be lucky to have Mackenzie on her wedding dy :)

I love love loved having Alison (hair) and Lekeshia (makeup) there on the morning of my wedding. They were both so calm and professional despite cramped quarters and lots of bustling activity. These two are such a dream team! We even ran ahead of schedule!! I felt phenomenal all day long and everyone was constantly complimenting my entire look. \r\n\r\nI cannot recommend these girls enough. Not only did they do a great job on my hair and makeup - but each one of my bridesmaids and mothers loved their looks as well. Alison executed three very different styles (one up do, one down and one half-up) on each of my \'maids and they all looked amazing! My Mother in Law (who NEVER EVER wears makeup -- honestly, in the eight years that I have known her, never once has she ever worn makeup) loved the way she looked!\r\n\r\nIf you want to feel like a super model/rockstar on your wedding day - you should definitely call MackStylist!

Mackenzie of Mack Stylist knows her stuff. I went to my trial 5 months before the wedding with photos of what I thought I wanted, Mackenzie explained to my dark hair would show shape, not detail in the photos and I should emphasize the shape so that it won’t blend. I would have never thought about my photos, or how my hair would appear. She was patient the day of the trial, played around and showed me a couple of styles to let me see what I would like best. Thank god I went to her because in all of my photos you can see my hair style!

A week before the wedding my timing changed for getting ready and Mackenzie was totally flexible and made it work.

The day of the wedding Mackenzie and her crew were fabulous. They all came totally prepared; I didn’t have to think about anything. The entire crew was friendly, and chatted with my family and friends while we were getting ready. Jen, the makeup artist was great, I honestly have never had my eyes look so big. I had an unusual headpiece, which seemed giant at the time and Mackenzie sculpted my hair to fit the headpiece. It looked AMAZING! I got so many compliments, my hairstyle was classic but had modern elements. Not only did it look awesome but it stayed in place all night and I danced up a storm! She did such an awesome job that I have now started going to her for my cut and color. She is a true artist/sculptor of hair and I would recommend her in a heartbeat!

Mackenzie was fantastic to deal with- it was the week of the wedding and some things fell through and I didn't have a stylist & makeup artist booked for me or the wedding party.

My wedding was Saturday & I spoke to Mackenzie Tuesday and had a trial that afternoon for makeup & hair in Mack's studio in her home.

Allison (hair) & Nicck ( makeup) were A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I felt completely at ease and were so awesome translating the inspiration photos I had with me.

Nicck & Allison arrived early and set up their stations so quickly- the results were beyond salon quality all from the comfort of your home!

Everyone from the bridesmaids to my mom & sister looked flawless- and got rave reviews at wedding. My bridal party had a variety of hair textures and skin tones and Nicck & Allison nailed the looks for everyone.
I loved the red lipstick so much I bought a tube and wore it on my honeymoon for special nights out in Iceland

The products used were all high quality and the airbrushed foundation lasted all day- my eye makeup even looked flawless from the very long and emotional day.

Mackenzie did hair and makeup for my wedding day, and I could not have been happier with my decision to use her! All of my girls/sisters/mothers LOVED their hair and makeup for the big day. Mackenzie is professional, and a real pro with the talent she has. We received so many compliments on how great the entire party looked the day of my wedding. I have been referred to as "My life size Barbie" numerous times when people talk about our wedding day :) I couldn't recommend her highly enough.

Love Mackenzie! She did a gorgeous job on my hair and my bridesmaids as well. Jen did our makeup and I gotta hand it to her for putting up with my ridiculous requests and my mom's loud mouth. My wedding started at 11 AM, but my husband and I were doing first look photos at 9, so my girls and I had to be ready by 8:30. Mackenzie and Jen arrived at my hotel room bright and early at 4:45AM and were ready to go! They even had us all done by 8 AM. Mackenzie brought a bottle of sparkling rose with a coupon for a future service which was awesome!
I absolutely recommend Mack Stylist, especially of you're the offbeat kind of bride!

I'm so glad I found Mackenzie for our wedding day! She gave me some great suggestions at my hair trial and made me feel confident about my hairstyle. On our wedding day, she surprised me with a bottle of champagne and made me feel at ease as she began working on my hair.

My bridesmaids looked like models and my mom felt gorgeous! I couldn't believe how amazing everyone looked and how quickly she worked. I ended up completely changing my mind last minute, and with no picture or example of what I wanted, she created a stunning hairstyle that I could have never found in any magazine. It stayed perfectly put through the intense humidity and our extra long reception. Mackenzie is so artistic, professional, and simply wonderful to work with. I absolutely recommend her!

I had a great experience with Mackenzie. I still get compliments on how great my hair looked on my wedding day. Her work is amazing and I love her personality(She handled a difficult bridesmaid perfectly.)

Jen did my makeup and I have never seen my skin look so good. I've had problems with my skin for years and it looked flawless on my wedding day thanks to Jen. The makeup was perfect.

Mack stylists were amazing! I knew how I wanted my hair and makeup done, but sometimes it's hard to describe exactly what you want and even harder for those trying to understand your vision and create it. They listened and did it perfectly! I loved the way I looked on my wedding day. Also, my briedesmaids, both moms, and aunts looked spectacular! Mack did a great job on my hair for the wedding. I wanted an updo but usually I hate when I get my hair done... She did great and I was completely comfortable with what she was going to create! She cares about what your hair looks like and made sure I was completely satisfied. Definitely recommend if you're into something classic and stylish.

I was SO happy with my hair/make up on my wedding day! MacKenzie was already booked for a wedding but the gals who came to our hotel to do hair and make up were AMAZING. All of my bridesmaids loved their looks ad well. Everyone we worked with were so professional, nice, and talented!

Mackenzie and Jen (who did my makeup) are incredibly talented. Mackenzie has such an unique eye for style and hair design. When I initially went in to meet Mackenzie, I was nervous - I didn't really know what I wanted, I couldn't make up my mind and I did way too much research through bridal magazines. Mackenzie sat me down, played with my hair and looked at me - that was it, she knew exactly what to do. And it was amazing!

My wedding day was incredibly long and I wanted an updo set in the morning that I could let down in the evening. And that was exactly what she did for me. She taught me how to pin my hair, she taught me what extensions to buy and how to place them and how to reuse them. She was incredible!

I now go to her for my haircuts as well. I'm not sure what I'm going to do if she was ever to leave me. Be warned - her prices are going to be higher than you see for local hair salons, but she will travel to you and stay in communication with you up to the wedding. If you want to save a few bucks, don't have her cut your hair (easy as that). I am willing to splurge on my haircuts so it was a no-brainer for me. My bridesmaids loved her too (one even booked her right after my wedding). She is very social, easy-going, and doesn't put up with bs (something you need as you become a bridezilla).

Mackenzie was prompt, extremely friendly, and fit right in with everyone! I really appreciated her flexibility. I was extremely busy with planning a wedding and working, so I did not want a hair trial. She is truly talented and my hair looked beautiful on my wedding day. She has a great personality and has a way of making you feel calm and relaxed, like your getting your hair done by a friend. (well.. better than a friend, because none of my friends could do my hair that well. lol!) I went with my hair down not a traditional up do like most brides, so I wasn't sure how it would translate in photographs. Looking back at the photo's my hair looked amazing in pictures. Thanks again Mackenzie!

Mackenzie was awesome in every way possible. I was very apprehensive about getting my hair and makeup done because I'm very low maintenance on a day to day basis. I wanted to look like myself but prettier! Mack gave some great guidance and advice at the trial, listened to what I was looking for and made me feel very comfortable leading up to the wedding. At the wedding, I had changed what I was looking for a bit and Mackenzie was so accommodating. She had warned me that all brides change their pictures and I was adamant I wouldn't...but I did. She rolled with the changes and did a fabulous job for myself and my three bridesmaids. She even managed to get my sisters who have curl-resistant hair to hold beautiful, flowy curls all day. Jen did makeup for the moms and myself and did a phenomenal job. I have seriously never felt so pretty!

Mack and Jen were punctual, professional, creative, fun, calm and felt like they belonged there. It was great to get ready under their watch. Looking back at the pictures makes me realize that I wish Mack and Jen could make me look that pretty every day!
