Perfect wedding
Katie did fantastic on my hair and incorporated elements I brought beautifully. She was very friendly and had a gentle touch while doing it. She had suggestions that brought my hair to a whole new level. Bianca was also very friendly and had suggestions that made my ideas happen, just more realistically (like not accounting for windy beach and teary eyes). They made me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day and I’m beyond excited to see all the photos. -

She truly made all the difference and turned this part of wedding planning into one of the most enjoyable experiences throughout the entire process.She responded to my inquiry almost immediately, carefully worked with the inspiration photos I provided, and executed everything perfectly on my wedding day. Bianca traveled over 1.5 hours to our venue, arrived exactly as promised, and even provided touch-up minis to use throughout the day — such a thoughtful detail that I really appreciated. Katie and Bianca were absolutely incredible to work with for my wedding hair and makeup. They helped me achieve the glowy, natural wedding look I had envisioned while still making me feel completely like myself. I felt so beautiful and confident on our wedding day, and everything photographed beautifully. Bianca especially made my eyes pop in such a flattering way.
I really appreciated how patient they were throughout the process. It took me a few trials to fully figure out what I wanted, and they were so supportive and honest every step of the way. Once we landed on the vision, they executed it perfectly.

I truly cannot say enough good things about M.U.A.H. From start to finish, the team was professional, kind, flexible, and genuinely such a calming presence to have on the wedding morning.
What impressed me most was how well they listened. They took the time to understand our vision and what we each wanted, and they executed it beautifully. I specifically said I wanted to look like myself — just elevated — and that is exactly what we got. The makeup enhanced rather than masked, and everything felt timeless, polished, and true to who I am.
Their technical skill was evident in how flawlessly everything lasted throughout the day, while still looking natural both in photos and in person. They clearly hold a high bar for quality and know how to deliver under pressure without ever losing their warmth.
Beyond the artistry, their energy made such a difference. The entire M.U.A.H. team was organized, super friendly, and brought such a positive, steady vibe to the morning. They were transparent on pricing as well!

Most reliable and talented ladies around!!!
Bianca and Katie are the most sweet and talented ladies! I was nervous to find girls I can trust to do my hair and makeup for my wedding day. When I went to do the trial, I knew right away that I had full trust in them!! They are kind, take the time to listen to your needs and genuinely care about your wedding day vision. Throughout the entire process, they were very quick to respond to any texts and questions I had. Day of, they showed up right on time and got all my girls done right on schedule. My hair and makeup made me feel the best I’ve ever felt (not gonna lie, I did get emotional looking in the mirror😂) I highly recommend MUAH and would love to use them again in the future! 💗 -

Bianca and Katie exceeded every expectation I had for my hair and makeup!! Every vendor you hire for your wedding is important, but your hair and makeup team are the first people you see and they truly set the tone. They answered every question via text/email quickly, and I knew throughout the whole process I was in good hands!

My husband and I just got married a few days ago, and we wanted to leave an honest, thoughtful review for Bianca, Katie, and their amazing team. Where do I even begin?
Our wedding day started much earlier than most, and our photographer needed all the ladies ready by 8:30 AM. Naturally, I was worried about timing, but Bianca and Katie reassured me from the very beginning that they and their team could handle it. Sure enough, on the morning of the wedding, Bianca, Katie, Mia, and Kiyomi arrived promptly at 5:50 AM, ready to set up. They worked quickly, efficiently, and with so much care, all while being attentive to the feedback from each of our girls.
As a bride, a million things run through your mind before the wedding. Being able to fully trust your vendors and watch everything come together is one of the greatest privileges — and biggest reliefs you can have. I’m so grateful for their professionalism, talent, and kindness.

Amazing Experience
These ladies were amazing to work with! I would highly recommend them. They made coordinating mine, my bridesmaids, and mother’s of bride and groom make up and hair very easy. I don’t wear a lot of make up so I appreciate how Bianca asked me a lot of questions to figure out what I liked and showed me examples of what she meant. The day of the wedding these ladies went above and beyond! Everyone who got their hair and makeup done including myself were very happy with their results! I loved working with Bianca and Katie! They were so sweet and friendly and made me feel comfortable as soon as I walked in for my trial. My hair and makeup looked amazing and lasted all day. I even text Bianca after my trial to ask what products she used on me because my makeup never lasted that long without breaking up around my nose and chin. They were super accommodating with my day of timeline and even kept me on track! All of my bridesmaids looked amazing and loved their hair and makeup looks. They also do flower girl services, which my niece loved. I got multiple comments about how good my hair and makeup looked that day and I just love all the pictures. BIANCA and KATIE are two of the most gracious, kind, and honest women in the WEDDING industry! From my trial to the actual wedding day, they really considered my feedback, and honored what I wanted. However, they also were realistic and offered suggestions based on what I wanted. I really appreciate this! They executed exactly what I wanted! I end up wanting more of a full GLAM look, and they delivered! Their energy was also exactly what I needed the morning of the wedding! My wedding was on 5.4.24 and Bianca and Katie made me feel like a perfect princess! From the moment I booked them in December of 2022, I knew they were going to be the best duo for my big day. They were friendly, provided fast communication, and it was an easy booking process.
I first met Bianca in March of 2023 for my engagement shoot and it was a great makeup trial before the real trial. She helped me understand what colors and makeup style suited me and got me thinking early about my wedding day vibe. My makeup literally did not budge all day and it looked incredible for all of our engagement photos.
My trial for hair and makeup was about 2 months before my wedding and I am SO glad I did a trial. Anyone who says you don't need one is so wrong. It was a great opportunity to have an open conversation about what I wanted and also what the girls thought would be best. They gave me tips on what to do leading up to the day for skin care and hair care; and we took lots of pictures to make sure I could reference back to what I loved and what I might want to change.
On the wedding day, Bianca and Katie showed up ready to go for me and my bridal squad. While it was a hectic morning, it was so much fun and everyone looked absolutely stunning. One of my bridesmaids even said that she loved her makeup more than on her own wedding day! HUGE compliment.
I highly recommend Bianca and Katie for your wedding day (or any event really). They really are so personable and knowledgeable. Their years of experience shows and I felt like I was getting glammed by my friends. Book them before it's too late!! -

Bianca and Katie were absolutely amazing! Bianca spent a lot of time during my make up trial to make sure that I was comfortable with the make up and how it looked. She also spent a ton of time explaining to me what each product was for, exactly what would happen the day of the wedding, what time everything would happen, and everything that was included. Katie did a great job with my hair the day of my wedding. It was exactly what I wanted and it held up all night, even with the wind. The make up Bianca did got my wedding was beautiful. It was exactly what I asked for and I felt like I looked like myself just enhanced. She also did a great job with my mom’s make up. I would strongly recommend these women to anyone looking to get hair and make up in the Monterey area. They are phenomenal! I’ve been so blessed to have worked with muah makeup twice in my life now! First, 7 years ago when my sister got married and we all were so happy and felt so beautiful. Therefore, when it came to my wedding in July 2023 I couldn’t think of a better team! Muah makeup makes your day so much fun and stress free! I had 16 women on my wedding day and they gracefully and efficiently got us all glammed/beautiful and ready for pictures early!! Trust me, as being a bridesmaid a hundred times that’s incredible to be early! I’ve never seen a more time efficient team. However, not only are they time efficient but they’ll make sure yourself and all of your bride-maids feel beautiful and are happy with the end result! Incredible Artists and So Much Support!
Bianca and her team at MUAH were absolutely incredible for my wedding makeup and hair. They were very transparent with the pricing for the event and talked me through the whole process before I even signed the contract. I felt so supported by them and they really took the time to make sure I was happy with my makeup and hair and made suggestions for alterations that would look best with my complexion, the time of the wedding (natural lighting, shadows, etc), and my hair texture. I have very sensitive skin and Bianca made sure she used products she thought I wouldn’t have a reaction to. She even texted me a few hours after the makeup trial to make sure my skin was ok. On the day of my wedding, they arrived right on time and had planned out perfectly how long they would need to do my and my bridal party’s hair and makeup. I felt so confident knowing that they were keeping track of the time and I was able to relax before the wedding. Every one of my bridesmaids had different ideas for their hair and makeup. The MUAH team was able to exceed everyone’s expectations and everyone looked stunning! I HIGHLY recommend MUAH for any event you need hair/makeup done for. Amazing team!
We hired Bianca and Katie to do our hair and make-up for an intimate Indian/American fusion wedding in December 2022. They were well-organized, communicative, arrived on time, and helped put us at ease. When they arrived they looked our photos and offered suggestions based on their expertise. Top notch service and gorgeous makeup
MUAH Makeup and Hair was one of my venue’s preferred vendors, and I decided to go with them after seeing all the glowing reviews. I went to Bianca’s house for my makeup trial, and she was so nice and made me feel relaxed. While the results were not totally what I was looking for, Bianca graciously took all my feedback and told me the changes would be no problem. She imparted her knowledge as a longtime professional makeup artist, but has no ego and truly wants to make her clients happy.
On my wedding day, we had to deal with the logistics of the Big Sur Marathon running right in front of the venue. That meant our vendors and wedding party had to get on limited, timed caravans to be escorted through the race.
Bianca’s assistant was coming from the other direction so she arrived at the venue bright and early. Despite Bianca leaving very early to get to her caravan, a mishap with some other drivers in front of her sent her to the back of the waiting line, and she couldn’t leave until the next caravan two hours later. But Bianca’s assistant got to work and she did an amazing job with all my bridesmaids and the moms.
When Bianca finally arrived, she was so apologetic even though it absolutely wasn’t her fault at all. She even insisted on refunding the travel fee. She focused entirely on my makeup and I was blown away by the results. Not only did she listen to my changes, but she took my vision to another level, and I felt so incredibly beautiful. I absolutely 100% endorse MUAH Makeup and Hair, and if they didn’t live so far away, I would hire them for any special event I have in the future.

The girls at MUAH were the best hair and makeup duo I could ask for! When looking for hair and makeup services for my wedding, I started looking at local businesses, and found them on instagram. I was immediately drawn to their work, as it is beautiful but not too overdone. They were quick to respond to my inquiries, so I booked hair and makeup for myself and makeup for my mom. I did a bridal trial a few months before my wedding, which turned out to be the day of my engagement shoot. I am so glad I did a trial because it was less stressful on the day of, and we had the time to really talk in detail about what I was looking for. My hair was curled in a “party pony” for the trial, so I just let the pony down and my hair was perfectly curled for the engagement shoot! The day of my wedding, they arrived on time and were such a fun presence to have while getting ready! They are so upbeat and really added to the excitement of my special day. My mom is very particular about her makeup, and when I saw her after, she looked incredible! She was so happy and she wishes Bianca could come to her house every day to do her makeup. My hair and makeup turned out to be perfect, and I felt and looked beautiful in both the photos and in person! The hair and makeup lasted all night, even with my crazy moves on the dance floor! I booked MUAH for their makeup services for my wedding party. Bianca and her assistant were incredible on the day of and for my trial! My bridal makeup trial went so smooth and Bianca helped me decide on which inspiration photos I brought would work best with dress and the vibe I was going for. We only had to make a few tiny alterations for the day of makeup! My makeup looked so beautiful the day of the wedding, and stayed literally ALL night?!? Additionally, all of my bridesmaids and the moms looked so beautiful as well. Bianca was beyond amazing to my mother who was nervous about getting her makeup done and looking overdone. Overall, I could not recommend their services enough! -

I can't say enough great things about Ashlee and her team - they are all incredibly talented and were a pleasure to work with! They were so professional the entire morning and my bridal makeup was perfect and all my bridesmaids + mom + MIL looked the best they've ever looked! I got airbrush and individual lashes and my makeup lasted all day in July heat and rain. I had originally booked Ashlee in 2019 and did my makeup trial for our engagement party which I loved. This was after having another trial that I didn't like. I'm so glad I picked Ashlee because makeup is something you want to get right for the wedding day. We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and Ashlee was great and easy to work with the entire time. I hired Bianca and her team for my wedding, from the first time I reached out she was very responsive and professional. I had my trial a few months before the wedding and she did a phenomenal job with my make-up. Bianca is very knowledgeable and will work with you on what she thinks will look best on you and you will not be disappointed. I absolutely LOVED my make-up the day of my wedding and got so many compliments she truly made me look/feel like I was the prettiest girl in the room. Kelsey was also incredibly talented doing my hair, I have very straight hair and is sometimes hard for it to hold curls totally not Kelsey's fault but I just wish I could have gotten a lot more hairspray on so that my hair would last a little longer it was so beautiful but unfortunately didn't last long as it was pretty windy outside. MUAH was one of the recommended vendors that our venue had listed so I didn't know much about them but am SO glad I had Katie do my hair for my wedding! Most hair vendors I saw for the area I am in are $$$ but Bianca & Katie are super reasonably priced. Katie and Bianca went over and beyond for my special day and even with the stress of planning my wedding during covid, they made sure I had all my questions answered and their knowledge of what they do eased my stress! . Bianca was so communicative from the very beginning! I originally was supposed to get married in San Diego, but due to the pandemic we cancelled plans and decided to do an elopement in our backyard in Monterey. I had to find a whole new makeup/hair artists locally. So glad I chose MUAH. In October my parents got sick and we had to postpone again. Bianca was so understanding, flexible, empathetic and willing to push the deposit to a new date. My fiancé and I planned our wedding in less than a week so I was in a rush to find someone to do my hair. She was recommended to me through my hair stylist (hairbykelsey). MUAH is absolutely wonderful. They did my make-up for our engagement photos (phenomenal) and both hair and make-up for our wedding. I was so impressed with their work, responsiveness, cleanliness and professionalism. They really listened to what I wanted and also gave great feedback and tips as to what is going to look great for photos. Their response time is prompt, they have a fun and relaxed vibe, almost like they fit right into your wedding party. They were extremely aware of sanitation protocols (masks, hand sanitizer, hand washing and such).

Bianca and Katie were FANTASTIC! We had to cancel our 250 person wedding in July and quickly put together a small wedding of 20 people in August. I was immediately excited about Bianca and her team when Bianca responded to my inquiry within minutes! From my initial questions to the day of my appointment, Bianca was on top of all of it.
I am very casual & don’t normally do anything for hair & makeup but for my wedding day I wanted to look “put together” but I was also worried about someone doing my makeup & having it so heavy that I would not look like myself. This was not the case with MUAH. Before Bianca applied my makeup she asked if I wanted to keep my freckles visible or if I wanted to cover them. I appreciated this question so much! She kept the make up light, where I didn’t feel uncomfortable. I loved it!
My hair came out exactly as I had hoped! And it stayed put the entire day! (And the following day, too! - I held on to those curls as long as I could!)
My hair & makeup inspiration came from her Instagram. She has a wide range of looks, which made it easy to pick the look I wanted.

Bianca and her team are AMAZING
I can not speak highly enough of Bianca and her team! They did an amazing job on my bridal makeup and hair. I NEVER wear make up and was really nervous to have a full face on for my wedding day. She let me do a second trial just to make sure I was comfortable with my look. I was from out of town and Bianca was always accommodating when I was going to be in town and made sure she made the time for a trail. She did really amazing work to make me look AMAZING but still myself. She is very knowledgable about what you can go without to feel like you are wearing less makeup but what is also a must for the photos. They even work very fast so you should not have to worry about being behind. We were actually an hour ahead even with an extra makeup add on! She is also very helpful with recommendations. She connected me with my amazing florist as well as 2 amazing wedding vendors that stepped in last minute to help me out! You will not regret choosing Bianca and her team! -

The first thing a wedding planner (who has been in the industry for fifteen years) does when she has to plan her own wedding is choose her dream team. Vendors that she's recommended to other brides, who she trusts not only in a professional aspect but also in an artistic one. Bianca and her team have always been timely with responses, upfront with pricing and NEVER EVER late or flaky (which has been the bane of my existence with other hair & make-up artists). Bianca & Kelsey made my wedding day morning such a breeze. It seriously was one of my favorite parts of the entire wedding. I tell my own brides that it's so important who you hire for H&M because they are the first vendors you'll see that day and their attitude can make or break the vibe. After a disappointing bridal trial with a different MUA, my wedding coordinator suggested that I contact M.U.A.H and I am so glad she did. Bianca was attentive to my specific concerns: that I didn't want anything too heavy, that I still wanted to look like myself, and that I didn't want strip lashes that would make my big eyes look "buggy". Bianca more than delivered a bridal look that was somehow both ethereal and natural. My search for a MUA was over!!
On the day of my wedding, several of my bridesmaids who had opted not to have their makeup done professionally, for fear that it would be too heavy or unnatural looking, saw what an incredible job Bianca had done and asked if she had time to do their makeup as well. Bianca was on a tight schedule and understandably was unable to provide the additional services, but I think this speaks to the quality of her craft. I cannot recommend Bianca enough, you would be remiss not to hire M.U.A.H! -

Couldn't have asked for anything better!
Bianca is so relaxed and flexible that she really just made the whole process so enjoyable. From the makeup trial leading up to the wedding, to the wedding day with her and Katie, everything was perfect! They traveled to our venue which was so convenient for us, and managed makeup for 9 ladies and had us all done on time. They both worked so well with a variety of ages, skin tones, and preferences.
