Marie performed at my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. She plays the violin and piano keyboard and is very talented. She has been consistent in communication with me since I found her online. She was responsive, professional and caring. She made suggestions what to add and I appreciated her suggestions and incorporated them. The music was so beautiful I was overwhelmed with emotion. She is incredibly talented and has fair rates. I couldn’t be happier to have her play on my wedding day! I highly recommend her!MAS Music's reply:

Marie Stack and the rest of the musical trio who played our ceremony and cocktail hour were fantastic. We opted for:
Violin, flute and keyboard trio for the ceremony
Sax, keyboard and drums trio for the cocktail hour
The music was amazing, all the communication beforehand and day of was prompt and proactive, and Marie even coordinated with one of our friends who is a singer to collaborate on two numbers.
Highly recommend—you won't be disappointed! -

When you book Marie, you're booking someone that is invested in making your day special. Marie took her time helping me pick the best songs for my event. She was super communicative and pleasant. When I struggled to find what songs to pick, she gave me great options. She was on time and did such an amazing job with my ceremony music. It made the day even more special! We worked with Marie and her team for ceremony music for our wedding reception at a Catholic church in Fire Island, New York.
From our first phone call with Marie, it was clear we were in great hands. Marie was extremely flexible, knowledgeable, and eager to learn how she could help us on our special day. This was particularly impressive as our wedding required extensive travel logistics to Fire Island. Marie was able to help us figure out the best way to structure music for the entire ceremony, agree to every musical request we had which included several new musical arrangements and even offered to bring a keyboard to our church.
As we dealt with unexpected challenges, such as a change in priest and cantor, Marie offered help and a solution at every turn. For our ceremony, Marie and MAS music played all the arrangements we discussed to perfection and we constantly heard compliments throughout the day about our string quartet for our ceremony. We 1000% recommend Marie to any wedding couples looking for ceremony music, especially those getting married in the Catholic church.

Marie and her string quartet team provided A+ service in our wedding planning and at our actual wedding. She was so helpful during our planning of our procession and recession. She gave us many ideas of song choices for us to pick from – both classic and modern options. We loved her so much that we also hired her as a solo keyboardist to continue playing music at our cocktail hour. My wife and I have nothing but positive compliments for her services. We even requested if Marie’s string quartet could play an older, classic Chinese song during our ceremony. The song has sentimental importance for my parents since it was their wedding song. I thought it was a long shot since there might be sheet music already done—but guess what? Marie came through with our special request! Marie and her team were definitely a hidden gem that we could not have been happier to have found! With the live music, she definitely made my wedding more magical!
Highly recommend Marie and her musical gifts!

I would give Marie @ MAS music a 12/12 if I could! Marie was a pleasure to work with- very responsive to e-mails, extremely professional and most importantly- never once did she say no. I asked her for a lot of different songs and scenarios- and she was truly a vital piece to my wedding. She wanted to make my dreams come true. She didn't treat me like a customer, she treated me almost as a friend who wanted to make my experience with her fantastic.
I would recommend her to anyone. What a value!!! -

The keyboard/violin combination was a wonderful addition to our ceremony and cocktail hour. Marie was exceptionally responsive and helpful throughout the process and had no complaints about performing outdoors in early November. We are so thankful Marie was flexible about the weather requirements and she put us at ease even though we weren't sure whether our ceremony would be indoors or outdoors until the very last minute. Though Marie is based in Brooklyn she never had any hesitation coming out to our venue on the North Fork of Long Island. Marie and Bella were wonderful as were the musical selections. We highly recommend the talented performers of M.A.S. Music!

It added a special quality to our ceremony that couldn't be accomplished with recorded music. Marie was extremely helpful during the planning process as always very quick to respond to emails. Their playing during the ceremony was beautiful; I couldn't ask for anything more! -

Jessica Sent on 08/17/2012M.A.S. music provided the music for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and everything turned out beautifully! We had a string quartet for our Catholic wedding ceremony, and Marie worked with the regular musicians at our church to coordinate all the music. Marie was great to work with and made the planning process very simple. We basically sent a list of songs that we wanted played during the ceremony (with Youtube links to clarify some things), and Marie took care of everything. I had even requested very specific timing for the song I walked down the aisle to, and the quartet timed everything perfectly! The music for the entire ceremony was integrated so seamlessly with the sequence of the mass. It created a beautiful atmosphere to our wedding, and definitely brought tears to people's eyes! Later that evening, Marie Stack provided the background music for our cocktail hour on the piano. The piano music created such a great atmosphere as all our guests mingled together. As a musician myself (violinist/pianist), the music was one of the most important aspects for our wedding. M.A.S. music exceeded my expectations and created a beautiful and unforgettable setting for our wedding. I highly recommend! -

Amy Sent on 01/07/2011Marie played solo for us, and I couldn't have been more pleased! Her communication from the very start was amazing, but just as importantly she was so affordable!
She played both the violin and trumpet for us, was punctual, and switched to different instruments depending on the song choice! She was really a pleasure to work with, and we were so happy with the results!
You really need to give them a call and get a quote, because this was a big bang for the buck!

Lady Sent on 08/02/2010Marie Stack was great, she was always responsive when we e-mailed and very courteous. We had such a simple and stress-free deal it was perfect with so much to do when planning a wedding. I e-mailed her for prices, she responded very quickly sent me a contract and cds with samples of her music. I sent her a check and she was there the day of with a violin and trumpet. I hear from my guests that she was playing for them before I arrived. She introduced herself before I went in and that was it. Perfect dealing with a vendor.
