Krissy is an ARTIST!

I do not even know where to start! Perfection is what comes to mind when I think of my flowers. She EXCEEDED every expectation that I thought my flowers would look like on my wedding day. I gave Krissy my color palette and ideas but gave her my full trust and I am so happy I did. I walked into my venue is complete awe all the flowers and centerpieces. I found my florist for all my future events! You would be crazy not to pick Krissy because I will promise you, you will NOT regret it. Forever grateful to Krissy for making my wedding soo glamourous and timeless. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!

Stunning florals…even better than we could’ve dreamed!

Our daughter’s large wedding and reception in The Woodlands were gorgeously adorned by Krissy and her team! She brought our vision to a reality and it was even more stunning than we could’ve hoped for. More than any other comments we heard from guests were about the gorgeous florals, centerpieces, and the fireplace… they blew us away! She took all of our daughter’s ideas and dreams and seemed to “get” exactly what she wanted the look to be. She was very easy to meet with and answered all the questions we had along the way. She even delivered her bridal portrait bouquet to us at the hair/makeup salon! She was extremely careful with the budget even when I was asking if she didn’t need MORE money to achieve an over the top fireplace mantle decor, she assured me that she had budgeted just what was needed! And she was right, it was breathtaking. Bouquets, pocket boutonnières, church arrangements, greenery hanging from the chandeliers at the reception, table centerpieces, etc, it was all beautiful and handled perfectly. We would recommend Krissy, and her newly renamed Thistle Do Nicely floral design company, 1000%!

Wonderful Experience!

I decided early on in my wedding planning that I would work with vendors who came highly recommended by other brides. Krissy came highly recommended from one of my coworkers who had previously worked with her. I found her to be timely, open to my suggestions, and very professional. Whether I contact her by phone, text or email, she ALWAYS response! When I’m indecisive she gives me awesome ideas and has always given the most budget friendly track to use...this is a true testament to me that she’s just not in it for the money, but is just as vested as we are in seeing our dream wedding come to fruition. I would highly recommend her to any and all future brides!!!

Beautiful work!

LOVED working with Krissy!!! Krissy was extremely nice and helpful through our planning process. She did such a beautiful job with all of our arrangements and was very flexible with me changing some ideas but still helping me stay within budget. I really enjoyed getting different feedback on what would look nice for the look I wanted while also being honest on cost. I would recommend LZ Floral any day!

My flowers were so beautiful! When I first consulted with the florist, I had a vague idea of what I wanted and described it to her without bringing any pictures or examples. I was worried about how things would turn out since I am not familiar with flowers but were using a lot of them for our ceremony, centerpieces, table decor and bouquets. When I saw the displays on the wedding day, I was blown away! They were more than I expected- so beautifully and stunning. She used many different flowers that complemented and matched each other so well. The centerpieces and bouquets were the perfect colors and sizes. Everyone at the wedding talked about how nice they were! I could not have been happier with them!

We LOVED working with LZ florists for our wedding flowers. We got married at Annunciation Catholic Church in Downtown Houston and then had our reception at Heights Villa. Lara was great to work with and the flower were gorgeous. The centerpieces we designed were absolutely gorgeous! She was also great to work with and had lots of suggestions for the flowers for the wedding. For my bridal portrait bouquet, she was kind of enough to drive all the way to the med center to drop it off so that I didn't have to drive out to spring to pick it up.

We were so glad we went with LZ Floral Design for our wedding! Our flowers looked amazing! Lara is fantastic! She really listened to what we wanted and made it happen! Lara is really talented, she made all of our bouquets, centerpieces, decorated the aisle and even set up and decorated a Chuppah for us! LZ Floral provided the floral centerpieces for our rehearsal dinner. We coordinated with the bride's family to re-use the centerpieces for the cocktail portion of the wedding reception. Lara delivered the flowers and then picked them up after our event on Friday night. She then changed the containers the flowers were in for the reception the next day. She was very easy to work with, offering suggestions and always quickly answered emails. Her flowers were beautiful and so fresh - for almost a week after the wedding they still looked good. I would very much recommend her to friends and family.

LZ Floral is the best. They were highly recommended to me, and they went above and beyond my expectations. From start to finish, all my MANY questions were answered, and all my concerns and issues were handled with complete professionalism. They made my daughters wedding BEAUTIFUL, and everyone commented on how fresh and original the design looked. We are so happy we found Lara to be our wedding florist! She was wonderful to work with....very nice and helpful and always responded promptly to emails. She even stayed at the church to pin on corsages and boutonnieres. And the flowers were absolutely gorgeous!! My daughter said everything was even more beautiful than she could have imagined. And one week later, I am still enjoying the beautiful hydrangeas. We couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. Amazing...thank you Lara!

There was no doubt in my mind when I got engaged that Lara was going to be the one to provide the florals for our wedding. Her work is always so gorgeous and our wedding was no different. She was very patient with me when I changed some things around after our initial consultation and decided to go with some new ideas that I had found and was always quick to answer any emails or questions I had. Every time I look at pictures of our daughter's wedding, I am reminded of what she said to Lara when she saw her bouquet: "You read my mind!" Our daughter had never met with Lara; instead she sent her pictures of what she liked. Lara took it from there, combining creamy roses with blue-grey thistle and capturing the romantic feel of the wedding dress. Lara then echoed this feel in all of the floral details. Most surprisingly, the centerpieces and bouquets lasted for more than a week! I am not sure how she accomplished that, but Lara of LZ Floral Design is now my florist of choice!

Extremely flexible!! She was able to adjust the delivery time of my centerpieces when the wedding coordinator could not be there at the original set time. Flowers were absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I wanted!! Overall, extremely happy with everything.

LZ Floral Design is the best florist in Houston (by far). My husband and I went to numerous vendors and were very disappointed until I came across hands down the BEST florist and the best wedding vendor ever! We had had a two day ceremony and Lara was so thorough, efficient, personable, and the end result was stunning. The flowers not only lasted but looked as fresh as they did on the first day. She always emails back so promptly and makes sure she knows exactly what your vision is. Lara will go the extra step to ensure your wedding is beautiful! Thank you Lara for everything you did!!

Awesome, awesome, awesome florist! Her arrangements were gorgeous, fresh, and reasonably priced. We met once and went over what I was looking for, then sent her pictures of things I liked. She also was very flexible with my last minute revisions (mainly with color). She showed up promptly at the contracted time and her products were amazing (better than those I sent as example pictures)! Lara exceeded all expectations and I received many compliments on the arrangements from my guests. Will definitely use her again for all my floral needs.

LZ was perfect!! She helped us pick everything based off the ideas we wanted. She was wonderful with answering questions and being honest about what would look good. She kept us in budget too!

I only have amazing things to say about LZ Floral! Seeing my flowers arrive on my wedding day really took my breath away. I loved the flowers, the church and reception decorations, all of it! Lara was so knowledgeable and sweet and knew exactly what this indecisive bride wanted. I'm so glad I chose the right florist and I'd do it again in a heartbeat! Lara was so wonderful to work with. She listened to our vision and then created gorgeous bouquets, centerpieces and arrangements that perfectly embodied the feeling we wanted. Her attention to detail and professionalism were excellent. On the day of the wedding, she arrived at the church promptly and went to work without hand holding. She made my wedding day extra elegant and my mother so happy and calm about the flowers. The guests were very complimentary of the table arrangements at the reception. She also made the cake decoration flowers and worked well with our baker. I loved my bouquet so much that I dried it and have it as a memento of the big day. Thanks Lara!!

Lara is patient, friendly, warm and a joy to work with. She listened attentively to the vision regarding the wedding flowers and expectations for the ambiance to be created at my daughter's wedding and reception. She provided us with excellent ideas and suggestions regarding the flowers, design and use of various vases. Her vision pulled in various textures, shapes, and shades of pink colors with ivory to create a warm soft romantic feel in both the church and the reception location.
Lara created a gorgeous bridal bouquet of fresh high quality flowers which were quite breathtaking.
At the wedding reception the low flower centerpieces with pillar candles complemented the tall silver vases with a flower design that was dramatic yet very soft and quite elegant.
Lara thank you for the stunning gorgeous flowers at my daughter Stephanie’s wedding. Stephanie and I were both very happy with the final product. We enjoyed working with you and your attention to detail definitely made wedding flower planning stress free!!!

LZ Floral Design did an amazing job at our wedding! Lara is very easy to work with and is very professional. Lara did a magnificent job and completely exceeded our expectations. From the first meeting with her, she was extremely flexible and sat with me for over 2 hours to really grasp what I was wanting. I spoke with her several other times throughout the months of planning and she was always responsive and willing to work with me. She also was able to fit more than I ever expected into our budget. Book Lara, book her now, girls! I used LZ Floral for my March wedding, and the flowers were just gorgeous! We had some budgeting issues come up, and Lara went above and beyond to make the situation easy and ensured I was able to get the final results I wanted. Her flower designs at my purple and pinky red wedding set off the ballroom and made my bridesmaids' dresses pop, the table linens pop...everything was just stunning. I would advise you to bring a picture of flowers as close to what you want as possible. Lara and I collaborated for months on my "grand vision" and while the final product wasn't exactly what I envisioned, Lara is a true artist and her creations were even more beautiful than what I had in mind. She is truly wonderful!

From start to finish Lara was absolutely amazing. She ALWAYS responded to my (endless) e-mails and when I was unsure of certain aspects of which flowers to use, she always provided great suggestions. Not to mention, her lanterns available for rental are huge & gorgeous, which gave the romantic setting I was going for! From my bouquet to the petals lining the aisle, everything was exactly how I pictured it! Lara helped me achieve my dream wedding. I originally had a friend of the family who offered to do my flowers, but she backed out 6 weeks before my big day! I met with Lara who had done 2 of my friends' weddings and she was AMAZING! My mom and I searched tirelessly for a florist that wouldn't charge an arm and a leg for our wedding flowers. Most of places that we went to quoted well over $1000 for 5 bouquets and 12 boutonierres. Ridiculous!

LZ Floral combines stunning elegance with reasonable prices. She responded quickly to my emails and was very easy to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process.

On my big day, the flowers were so beautiful!!! They took my breath away when I saw them. She captured my vision perfectly. The flowers were even labeled and well organized to avoid any confusion.

After meeting with a ridiculous amount of florists and being incredibly disappointed we chose LZ Floral Design. Lara was clearly more talented than all of the florists we met with. She had her work cut out with me from the beginning. I had absolutely no idea what I wanted. I had a huge array of pictures I liked and that was about it. She was always fun to work with and very professional. All of my emails were answered quickly and she tolerated every time I changed my mind. When I think of the details of my wedding, the first thing that comes to mind are the flowers. I had the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen because Lara made my vision come to life….except prettier. My bouquet is without a doubt the prettiest bouquet I have ever seen. It was very out of character for me, but when I saw my bouquet for the first time I literally screamed aloud. Everything was constructed so beautifully. I was shocked to come home and find all of our flowers still alive after our 7 day honeymoon. I was extremely impressed and well satisfied. The flowers definitely made our wedding!

Lara was fantastic. She was able to accommodate my budget and was very responsive. The altar arrangements and centerpieces she did for my wedding were incredibly beautiful. I had a combination of short and tall centerpieces with candles in the center. Some of the roses in the short pieces got burned from the candles, but besides that, everything was great. My bouquet and those of my bridesmaids were lovely. She also provided orange roses for my wedding cake, and the final product was simply breathtaking. Overall, Lara did a wonderful job, and I would highly recommend her.

Lara was AMAZING!!! She was very patient with me and my mother (our tastes didn't exactly match) when deciding on decor for my wedding. LZ floral is absolutely wonderful!! Lara is five stars all the way down the board because she was always so very nice and helpful even when I changed my mind about the entire order twice. The flowers just beautiful and arranged so well! Her prices are the best I was able to find. I went to her first after meeting at the bridal show. Our appointment was supposed to be an hour but it went way over that due to my indecisiveness. Lara was so nice and didn't mind at all about the extra time.

I cannot praise Lara enough for the beautiful flowers she provided me for our wedding. I purchased bouquets, corsages and flowers for the cake. It wasn't a tall order, but the effort and care she put into them, was beyond my expectations. Her prices were the best when compared to five other vendors. I was worried that my flowers might wilt before the big day, because I picked them up the day before, But not only did my orchids thrive, they lasted three more days, which is amazing considering they are a delicate flower. I would Highly recommend Lara!

We heard about LZ Floral from the bridal extravaganza. Made an appointment and came in to talk to Lara. She was very sweet, helpful, and full of ideas. We just told her our ideas and she made it seem like it was easy. The first impressive part was we needed a bouquet within 3 days for the bridal shoot and she got it done. The part that blew us away was when we saw our pew markers for the first time, jaw dropping and in awe. She took our ideas and not only did she run with it, she made it into something even more and better. Our venue was absolutely beautiful with what she did and all of our guests were amazed. I was new to the Houston area when I got engaged, so I didn't know much about wedding vendors. I was referred to LZ Floral Design by my videographer (Bella Vista Productions) and I'm so glad I listened. Lara was easy to work with, quick to return phone calls and was by my side through the entire planning process. My wedding was September 3rd and the flowers were gorgeous! I met Lara through the Raveneaux but she also goes to the Houston bridal expo's. She doesn't have an actual shop to visit, so you call and set up a meeting with her at where ever is convenient to you and she will bring a portfolio of what she's done so you can get an idea of what she can do. She's very flexible and I had her do both my ceremony flowers and reception centerpieces. I wasn't happy with the 1st mock centerpieces and she had no problem redoing it and recreating a 2nd mock centerpiece for me. Her prices are reasonable and always produces beautiful work in the end. For brides trying to keep their budget down - and coming from a DIY bride - if your not talented to do your bouquets yourself using silk flowers, you can't really get much reasonable than LZ Floral. Save yourself the headache and multiple trips to Micheal's-I recommend her to anyone

Lara was an absolute joy to work with! I can be kind of picky, and sometimes it can be hard to express just exactly what I want. Lara just gets it! She understood my vision perfectly, and the resulting flowers were better than I could have imagined. She was super-easy to work with and to get in touch with. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!!

Lara, made my wedding day absolutely beautiful!!! From the ceremony floral arrangements, the reception centerpieces, and all the bouquets,bouts, and corsages I could not have imagined anything better. She truly is dedicated to her work and goes out her her way in helping make the best day of your life amazing! She is very helpful and creative with lots of different ideas, which made decision making a whole lot easier. It was a pleasure working with her and would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat!

My flowers were beautiful! I got so many compliments on them and I couldn't have done it without Lara.
Lara was extremely helpful, all the way from the first meeting to the day of! She was also very flexible with me because I had family be unable to come at the last minute so she changed the corsage and boutonniere number at the last minute for me.
It was so nice to not have to stress about flowers because I knew LZ Floral would do a wonderful job!

Lara was great to deal with. We knew after the first meeting that she was a "get it done" person and learned that after we COMPLETELY changed our vision for the flowers that she was flexible as well. She was professional 100% of the time and went out of her way to accomodate our requests...which one was a new arch for the ceremony. The arch was AMAZING and made the pictures from our day gorgeous. Since we live in Manhattan she made sure she stayed in contact with us through out the entire planning period.

LZ Floral was amazing! I probably changed things around 10 times in the weeks before the wedding and Lara had no problem making the adjustments. On the day of the wedding, I didn't have to worry about making sure the flowers at the reception were ready to go because she took care of everything. I absolutely loved all the bouquets and centerpieces she prepared for me. The flowers lasted awhile after the wedding too which was nice! Plus, her prices are MUCH more reasonable than any of the other quotes I received. I couldn't be happier with the flowers on my wedding day!

I love love loved my flowers at my wedding. They were beautiful and better than I could have ever expected. She did everything I asked and so much more. I loved working with her and she was so easy to coordinate with. Her prices were great and she really listened to me to know exactly what I wanted. I am going to reccomend her to all my friends when their weddings come up!

Lara was great to work with. I think out of all of my vendors she responded the fastest. Always on top of anything and everything I asked of her. She also has incredible patience. She was very felxible when i had some idea changes and made it work within my budget. At the end of the day my flowers were fabulous and everything really looked great.

I contacted Lara 5 days before my wedding date to provide 4 small bouquets, my bridal bouquet, plus 2 beautiful arrangements for the church and flowers for 5 small cakes. She met with me promptly. She had a friendly, professional demeanor and listened carefully to everything I wanted. She also offered helpful suggestions. Despite contacting her at the last minute, all of the flowers were fresh and absolutely beautiful, everything was carried out exactly as she promised, and she even arranged my cake display when the restaurant failed to do so. Did I mention that the flowers were beautiful?
