Do not rent this dump

First, the man that owns the house is a convicted felon multiple times. Google Alex. Second, the house is a dump. Pavers outside are stained so don’t have a wedding there. The pool is dirty. Drains within portions of the house don’t work and neither does the hot water. He is also a liar. He charged us for leaving a bag of trash outside in a trash can. Side note if you don’t put the trash in the right spot in the ally you are fined $1,000. I can go on and on but I’ll end it here. Bottom line: DO NO RENT THIS HOUSE FROM ALEX who has multiple felonies and has been in jail.

Perfect Wedding

We had our wedding here and it was PERFECT!!! Everyone loved it, and really there is no other venue in like The Luxury Waterfront Estate. The staff were fabulous and accommodating, and they recommend so many wonderful vendors. The guests were in awe of the place. Seriously consider using this place for your party, you will not regret it.

Incredible Venue

The most incredible venue. Absolutely magical. Words cannot express the feeling you get when you walk in. Everything about the place is stunning. Knew the second I walked in that I had to get married there. Planning was super easy (thanks to Alex) and the vendors that they work with/recommend are incredible.

Wonderful Wedding

This is a very delayed review for our wonderful wedding September 29, 2018 at the Luxury Waterfront Estate! The staff was so helpful during the many emails and site visits to make my dream wedding come to life! The history of this space is palpable, and the loving care and maintenance does not go unnoticed. There are countless options for configuration depending on which spaces you use for ceremony, reception, etc. Our guests were truly wowed by the venue and our wedding felt like a fairytale!

coolest wedding venues

This was one of the coolest wedding venues we've been to! My husband was at a wedding here and because we were flying in from out of town on the day of the wedding, we came straight to the venue to get ready. It was stunning! If you are considering this venue for your wedding -- it's beautiful!!!

Thanks for the great time.

Had our wedding this year in April at Luxury Waterfront Estate. Worked with our planner and staff at Carondelet for about a year. The staff from the top down is top-notch. Everyone was extremely easy to work with. Additionally, they were very accommodating as well. Our wedding day was absolutely fantastic and went without a hitch. All possible due to hard work and dedication of management, staff and wedding planner. Everyone went out of the way to make sure everything went smoothly so that my wife and I can just enjoy our special day without any worries or headaches, which we absolutely did!

The best day of our lives

On the day of the wedding, the staff was professional and considerate, and as I moved about the venue, they would congratulate me on the happy event. It was genuinely quite sweet! The place and the people who work in it make the experience highly personal, despite the venue's popularity. The bride's path from the gorgeous bridal suite through the sunlit courtyard and down the aisle is both beautiful and intimate--exactly the kind of atmosphere that we had hoped to create. The meal itself was delicious, and served thoughtfully by attentive and impeccable staff. The guests felt well taken care of by the quality of service, and it really allowed our time to celebrate with each other shine. All in all, my husband and I agree that Luxury Waterfront Estate was vital to making what will always be the best day of our lives.

You deserve more than 5 stars!!!!

My wife and I got married there and it was delightful. They were helpful, friendly, and accommodating. They were also professional and efficient, taking care of everything flawlessly. I actually thought it was an excellent venue for the price, especially because the decor means you don't need to spend much decorating. It looks great in photos and is so much better than a generic hotel conference-turned-ball room. We did have them cater appetizers and I thoroughly enjoyed them. Five stars for helping make my wedding the fantastic night it was.

Amazing destination with amazing people

Beautiful space, great management. Great location. Great atmosphere and amazing space! The host was really nice too. Price was reasonable. Will definitely recommend it.

Luxury Waterfront Estate made my daughters quinceneara dream come true. It was an unbelievable venue with great customer service and very professional. From the day we sealed the deal to the end of the night. My guests were very pleased with the beautiful decor and the food was amazing. The lighting, the chandeliers, and the table set up were breathtaking. They always answered my calls and my questions were always answered. I had shopped around and I am so grateful to have found this place. They had the set up so magical I felt as if My daughter was in a fairytale.

Breath Taking

I recently attended a wedding here. I was really impressed by service, food quality and overall ambience. I was surprised that the manager was always on the floor and on top of everything. The manager kept checking all the tables and kept asking us if we were satisfied. You don't see this kind of service everywhere so it stood out. I definitely recommend this venue to anybody who wants to host an event there. It is a very beautiful place and very friendly staff. the location was excellent it was Central and there was plenty of hotels around so we checked in and it was convenient for many of the other guests.

Very elegant

The place to be!!

I was here for a wedding of a close family member last week. Not only was the venue itself nothing short of stunning, but the staff was wonderful as well, especially our server. She, along with everyone else, worked tirelessly to make sure our night was as incredible as it could possibly be, and I feel they definitely succeeded in that goal. Huge thanks to everyone there!

The best possible wedding venue we could have had.

The employees and everyone involved with our big day held themselves at the highest and it was a blessing to have such a beautiful venue to share our big day with. If you book them as your venue, you will get: a worry-free day, personal assistants that are phenomenal at what they do, beautiful scenery for photos, and so much more. Definitely go and see a wedding here and you won't want to get married anywhere else.

Worth Every Penny

My daughter was married at Luxury Waterfront Estate on 7/5/19. From the moment we toured there, everyone was wonderful and available when we had questions. My daughter knew as soon as she saw Luxury Waterfront Estate that it was THE place for her wedding. Our daughter's wedding day was everything that we had imagined and more. It was perfect! The food was fabulous, the DJ, our decorator, the flowers all awesome. Our guests were so impressed with the service, and the food, we are still getting compliments! The wedding was the fairytale that my daughter had always dreamed of. It was flawless! If you are looking for the perfect wedding, look no further!

This is the most beautiful wedding venue I've been to! The ambiance is so very special. The staff went over and beyond in taking care of every little detail. My water glass never went empty. They were there to meet any need whether it was getting a drink, a baby blanket or to offer to take a picture for us. I mentioned I was chilly and right away they rolled out heaters. Everything was just beautiful!

The entire staff...from the site coordinators and catering crew to the bartenders were not only supportive, efficient, and helpful, but did everything willingly and with a smile, kind word, and an offer to do more! Every one of them was 'wired-in" to one another which was very efficient and kept everyone 'in the know' about what was happening, what was needed, and what to expect. This facilitated a very smooth ceremony and reception despite last-minute changes due to inclement weather. They made my job so much easier, and they were all happy to do so.

Best Wedding Vendor Ever

Came here for a friend's wedding, and wow what a gorgeous venue.

It was all (from what I could tell) outdoors, and felt completely secluded in the wilderness. They set up chairs for everyone on the grass where we could watch the bride walk down the aisle, and they even provided fans/ umbrellas (it was very hot!). The bride/groom had microphones so we were able to hear everything.

What really stood out was how organized everything was, and how friendly the staff was. I thought everything seemed so well planned, and it was just a beautiful event.

The best Moment in my life

I have been photographing weddings for many years, I have seen some tremendous venues but Luxury Waterfront Estate stands alone. A brilliant location, it seems that some very serious thought went into designing the layout, especially for photographers. The entire staff is helpful and friendly but on this night 2 people stepped up and made it memorable. Unless you have photographed a wedding you cannot understand what that means to us. Outstanding customer service and care in a time when it seems to be fading away. What a great venue!!

I loved the whole experience

I had to leave a review! I was hired as a videographer 48h before the wedding date... I did say yes to the beautiful couple who hired me without having a clue who they were... where would I be landing. Everything was a wonderful surprise! This venue is a wedding paradise, no kidding! Everything you dreamed is right there: elevation terrasses, ponds, barn, swing, view, unbelievable sunset, beautiful bridal suite... vegetation is just the eden garden! People working there are very professionals and passionated... I wish I can share the wedding trailer we made. You are in the area, you're looking for a venue, just go! I married in 2011 in a beautiful Chateau in France, if I have to renew my vows and throw another party, I will definitely go back... hope my wife won't see this review otherwise I'd better start saving :)

Amazing place to be

Absolutely beautiful grounds! I was very pleased with what they pulled off! Very clean property and nice help! I will definitely consider this for mine and my partner's wedding!! The pastor was so excited for the couple and the staff was just as pleased as if they were family!!

The best choice we ever made!

I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day! The staff is so organized and so professional. This is what they do every weekend. It is only one wedding a day so they cater to your every need. They constantly checked on my wife and I throughout the night to make sure that we had everything we needed. The day goes by so fast and I couldn't imagine if I had to make any decisions on my own without them. My guests could not get over how gorgeous this venue was. I had several people tell me afterward that this was the best wedding they had ever gone to!!
Their vendor recommendations were some of the best people I have ever worked with. This is a one-stop-shop for anyone wanting a hassle-free outdoor wedding. The views are incredible! Worth every penny!!

Great Experience, i loved it

Words cannot express how wonderful it was to have our wedding at Luxury Waterfront Estate. The staff went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. The venue is so organized and efficient, and the staff are so kind, supportive, and communicative. Everyone we worked with were so accommodating and many of our guests told me after the wedding that they felt so cared for by the staff that was helping out that day. And then there is the venue itself which is just breathtaking. It is the most beautiful blend of nature and class. We loved the food and all of the recommended vendors were incredible. We are so grateful to have chosen Luxury Waterfront Estate as the venue for our special day and will cherish our memories forever!

The service was great

Wow this venue was literally an answered prayer. Prior to booking, we were stressing out because we couldn't find a venue that had it all & that we absolutely loved. Then I came upon Luxury Waterfront Estate, we toured it and were simply blown away!!! A million THANK YOU's to all staff!! You guys made our DREAM WEDDING come true!!!

I loved the experience

I came here recently for my friend's wedding. Such a beautiful venue, small and intimate. The restrooms are extra clean, there's one in the barn but there's a couple of stalls up at the spa area. I really enjoyed the view and have fun here.

Simply the best!!!

We had our wedding at Luxury Waterfront Estate and we are so happy this was our wedding venue!

This was the only wedding venue we looked at! I fell in love with it, and it's absolutely stunningly beautiful!

The Staff was absolutely wonderful!!
They go above and beyond the call of duty, all of our guests had nothing but great things to say about Luxury Waterfront Estate!

The Best Experience Ever!!!

I'll begin this review by saying I legit just had the wedding of my dreams at Luxury Waterfront Estate this past Friday. I knew since the moment I found this venue online it was love at first sight, but after actually working with their team and having my wedding on Friday I am now confident this was the best decision we could have ever made! Every guest couldn't stop coming up to me raving to me on how beautiful it was there and how it was the best wedding venue they have ever been to. The staff truly love what they do and it shines through not only on the big day but all the days up leading to the wedding. They were always in constant communication with me and made me feel like I was the only bride they were working with! I'm so thankful to forever have these amazing photos to remember how perfect this day was. Thank you for everything you did for me and me and my wife.

Amazing Day!

This estate was such an amazing/beautiful place to get married! My husband and I got married here and all the employees went far and beyond to make sure the day was perfect for my husband and I! Venue had great Vibe!

The venue is beautiful and totally fit our vibe. All of our wedding party was able to stay onsite together and everyone raved about how they loved the togetherness. The water was calm and clear and immaculate sunsets made for stunning views. They were easy to work with, knowledgeable, and made everything run smoothly. Magnificent Views of Water

Absolutely beautiful house on the water that will produce moments & pictures that would take your breath away. The hosts were extremely accommodating and my friends had the wedding of their dreams. I'd absolutely suggest this venue to any friends that look into planning a wedding in the Bay Area.

Spectacular view!

I attended my brothers wedding at this venue recently and it was everything and more than he wanted. I helped with wedding planning and the vendor was flexible and very accommodating. Then the venue itself was phenomenal! From the view of the water, the pool, and the sunset made it all come together. This home was huge even with a huge wedding party there was plenty of space. Home was spotless and very well taken care of. I can only say great things and HIGHLY recommend this location. The value of this venue was better than any other venues we considered. Thank you for letting us make memories here!

Stunning venue highly recommend

Fabulous Location!

Booked wedding here and couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! The location right on the water was beautiful and had one the best sunsets I've ever seen. That staff was courteous and attentive and always willing to help! Have recommended to everyone I know 😊

Great Wedding Venue

We had a 65 person wedding here and it was awesome! It allowed to have the rehearsal dinner too which really bonded family and friends. Highly recommend! Great place!

The Petro Mansion was amazing. We had our wedding at the house and also stayed there. We invited some of our closet family and friends to stay there as well. The backdrop with the bay and the pool was perfect for pictures. We cleared out the furniture from underneath the canopy and made it into a dance floor. We had our personal chef come out and cook for the wedding and we had a blast. The kitchen is huge and the house has everything you need for your wedding day including plates, silverware, chargers and a few decorations. It rained a little on the wedding day but that quickly cleared in an hour and you couldn't even tell it had rained.

Planning a wedding is a very stressful time! Wanting to give my daughter the best! The search for the perfect venue was very important to me. The venue I decided on was the Petro Mansion. It was the best decision I could have ever made. In fact much more than I could ask for. This venue accommodated my family plus a few friends. All fit perfectly. The gourmet kitchen, any cook would die for. Having an open concept the kitchen flowed perfectly into the dinning area, which went right into the living space. Above and beyond that, it had a media room that all the teenagers and younger children loved. The bedrooms were fantastic, each and everyone of them. The master bedroom was just spectacular. That is just the inside, outside which is where we had the ceremony was a dream come true. A grill, a pool, a gazebo a dock and boat lift, made us feel we where living the dream. If all of that didn't keep everyone busy enough they had a game room and a workout area. A game of pool or a game of Foosball was perfect for indoor activities to keep busy when it rains, and it does for brief periods. Then if you are so inclined a great work out area to relieve the stress. July 1st through the 8th my daughter had the best of the best! My thanks to Mr Petro, meeting with us 1 year prior to walk us through this phenomenal venue, working with us through the year to make our stay the best it could be. This my friends are what dreams are made of!!!

The property had enough space for our 40 guests for the entire ceremony and reception dinner, plus dancing. It is already beautiful on its own so it wasn't hard to decorate for the wedding. We had a great time!

I can write a novel about our week's stay. I can't say enough about our experience at this beautiful mansion. We booked the house one year before our wedding and we were more than pleased with Alex's hospitality, kindness, warmth, and help. He made sure to accommodate every single one of our needs. He is incredibly inviting and my husband and I didn't hesitate to book the mansion the day Alex gave us a tour.

Our guests who stayed at the house were in paradise. I mean that literally. All of our family have different interests and hobbies and there were more than enough activities at the mansion for everyone to do. Whether reading facing the sunshine and the bay, doing laps in the pool, fishing on the dock, resting in a quiet room, cooking, socializing on the comfy furniture under the gazebo, or working out in the gym, our guests were more than pleased. And this is a short list! The list of amazing things to do is endless...

With that said, our wedding day and evening was perfect. And that is an understatement. We had a total of 120 people at the wedding and you would have NEVER guessed that many people were there! We had 10 tables, over 100 chairs, a DJ and a bartender, too! The space is phenomenal! We had people of all age groups (infants to great grandparents) and the area is safe for all age groups. One of our guests depends on a wheelchair and she wants to personally thank Alex for having a wheelchair accessible property. The mansion is incredibly affordable, also! I am a teacher and my husband is in sales and were able to pay for all of my family to stay under one roof for an entire week!! No hotels, no spending money eating out just to be together, no saying goodnight super early because of a block of hotel rooms being scattered; just pure quality family time under one roof. Alex made sure our dream came true. He answers all calls and texts and addressed all questions we had IMMEDIATELY. We had ZERO complains. Alex made our dream come true!

We rolled our wedding into the middle of a family and friends reunion, bringing together so many that are important to us - and Petro was the perfect backdrop! We had plenty to do with the kayaks and stand up paddleboards, the pool and more. With so much room in the house, our guests who stayed with us had plenty of privacy, but could spend time together easily. The kitchen is perfect for caterers to work from and is well equipped. I can't think of a single thing that would have made our wedding and week of joy more perfect - Petro provided the perfect place for our gathering, ceremony and celebrations!

I'll always remember the day I called and talked to Alex for the first time. He asked me just a few questions and after I told him how many people would be there and what time of a day we wanted he then described the perfect wedding for us. What he described was what my fiancé' and I had talked about the day before. It was like he knew what I wanted before we ever met.
Every moment through the whole planning process was simple and easy. Any time I had a question Alex would answer me immediately.
The song we picked to walk down the aisle was so wonderful and fit so well. The reception was flawless and our family and friends enjoyed themselves.
I would recommend Petro Waterfront Mansion to everyone getting married. It is a magical place and will give you a magical day!

The wedding was very unique. The set up was incredible. The house was magnificent and vary spacious. The views wer to die for. My wife said she was going to divorce me just so she could get remarried there. If you are about to be married trust me this is the place you want to do it at.

Waterfront Wedding

Our experience at the Mansion was amazing. We hosted a waterfront wedding of 80 people.
There was room for parking on the approaching street. We rented golf carts and escorted people from their cars.
The house is beautiful and the master suite is a brides dream. With a separate wing for the groom, it was a great set up. The pictures from the wedding turned out amazing and the entire party had a blast. It was the perfect setting for an intimate wedding with all the accommodations of a resort. Game room, gym, pool, dock, large kitchen, large rooms. Great house nestled on a quiet street on a quiet waterway with beautiful views.
The owner was great to work with and they made sure we understood how everything worked and where everything was. Great experience all the way around. Check out the pictures on the website. Helps to envision what it has to offer.

My husband and I booked petro mansion for our wedding and I could not have been happier with the location and how the event turned out. Both our families are from out of town and were able to stay at the mansion the week leading up to the wedding. They really enjoyed all being together and the amenities the house offered with plenty of space and privacy. The intimate ceremony was absolutely breath taking with the pool, palm trees and bay as the back drop. We also had our reception at the mansion and the kitchen set up was perfect for the caters and our buffet style dinner. We were able to have a spot for a bartender and dance floor as well as area outside for large round and tall top tables. The sunset was gorgeous from the mansion! I am so happy we found this gem in St. Petersburg and were able to make our dream wedding come true!

Best planning team

Our design and vision were perfectly executed. It was like they downloaded everything I wanted from my brain to theirs. They knew what decisions to make, and what I wanted, without needing very much input from my end, which worked perfectly for me.

We had a great event at the Petro Mansion. The house was as-advertised and a very beautiful property. We had one incident with an out of battery smoke detector setting off the entire houses alarm system. It took awhile to contact the owner to help us shut the alarm off.

Owner NOT to be trusted!!!

My cousins and I rented this property through VRBO. We canceled well within the policy window on our contract. The owner changed the cancellation policy. All we requested is that he honor the original cancellation policy and refund our deposit (over $6,000) minus the 18%.
He was contacted, and he is refusing to refund us anything! We are seeking legal assistance, as this is incredibly upsetting and truly unkind. We are hard-working women and simply asked this owner to do the "right thing". His response "take this up with VRBO" and "I'm not renting anymore" in response to our request to "reschedule".
LOOK VERY carefully at the fine print and consider yourself warned!! The owner is NOT to be TRUSTED!!!
