Best Wedding Planner in Jamaica
Patrice and her team are absolutely amazing! Thanks to Luxe we were able to have the wedding of our dreams! The communication and professionalism was great throughout the entire coordination process. We honestly had a stress free wedding day! Even though it rained on the wedding day every detail was executed so perfectly, we totally forgot about the rain. If anyone’s looking to get married in Jamaica, once you go Luxe, you won’t regret. They’re worth every Penny we spent! -

I’ve always admired the work of the Luxe Event and design team so when I got engaged I knew right there and then that I wanted them to design, decorate and coordinate my wedding. Turns out I made the best choice! With decor and coordination you never know how everything will come together until the day of the wedding and that’s why I knew I needed a team that is exceptional, diligent and capable. The luxe team was that and so much more. The decor was top notch, properly designed and overall beautiful.
Patrice was the main person we conversed during this time and let me tell you! It was a breeze working with her as well as the rest of her team. She was professional, open to suggestions and didn’t shy away from making suggestions of her own. She was warm and welcoming, answered all of our questions and made the process smooth. My husband and I are truly happy and blessed to have had such an amazing experience with the luxe team, we couldn’t have chosen a better team to execute our vision. I would recommend them 100% to persons getting married in Jamaica. -

Thank you Luxe Event Design for making my dream wedding come true! My husband and I recently got married at Moon Palace, Ocho Rios, and working with the owner, Patrice, was such a pleasure. We are kindred spirits because anyone who knows me, knows I love the dramatics of glitz and glam, so working with her and her over the top visions was a perfect match. I was so wowed on my wedding day with the décor and seeing how our 4 months of planning all came together and came to life. I was even surprised with beautiful décor for my Bridal Suite morning of. I would highly recommend Luxe Event Design to any upcoming Jamaica bride because you can provide the framework of what you want and Patrice and team will take that and execute to perfection. Luxe Events goes above and beyond to ensure every little detail is taken care of. The level of customer service and overall work of Luxe Event Design is superb!

I don’t even know where to begin. Patrice was absolutely amazing and made planning a destination wedding during a pandemic so easy. From the beginning I loved Patrice personality and even before I ever gave her any money she was the only vendor that kept checking in with me through the pandemic. Once I actually booked Patrice she helped me choose my other vendors with her expertise and she helped execute my vision. I sent Patrice a few things I wanted but I really just let Patrice do what she wanted. Everything was absolutely beautiful. Patrice and her team went above and beyond anything I asked for or could’ve dreamed of. My wedding was amazing thanks to Patrice and her team. If you are looking for someone with expertise to trust executing your big day book Patrice and her team. You will have no regrets. Her work is amazing but she is also an amazing person. If I could do it all again I would book her and recommend her to anyone. -

I watched the team come in from the night before to set up for my wedding and they worked till almost midnight the following day. You went above and beyond with lots of pleasant surprise elements. My wedding was amazing because of Patrice and her team. I got everything I wanted and more! My guest could not stop talking about the decor. I live all the way in Washington, DC. She’d notify me in advance if she would be out of contact for a few days. She would even check in just to say hello on days we didn’t need to discuss the wedding.
I am VERY anal about many things and Patrice put my mind at ease. There were times I would message her about a small detail and she was already on top of it. She knew my style and taste very well. She even kept me on my toes and ensured that I didn’t miss a thing. I was able to let go and just let her do her thing.
Patrice recommended the BEST vendors in the industry. I gave Patrice my vision and she exceeded my expectations. My family complimented Patrice on a job well done. Multiple guests have mentioned that she didn’t miss a beat. She made my wedding unforgettable! If you’re looking for quality service, then you will not be disappointed with Luxe Event Design. I can’t thank Patrice enough!!!

She exceeded my expectations, she was very honest and understood that I was a visual person. She took the time and presented what her ideas were along with mine. She referred others who would benefit our event who was also great and reseanable in cost. One of the things Patrice always said was that "it was our wedding"meaning that what she is putting into our event is nothing less than what she would do for herself and that made me feel even more at ease. Her team made us feel important and they knew what they were doing. Everything was on point if not OVER and BEYOND. They were all uniformed with there Lego, polite, friendly, approachable and most important PROFESSIONAL. Patrice and your team thank you all for making our dream wedding come true.

Tricia Sent on 09/27/2018Planning a destination wedding is very stressful and overwhelming. My husband and I are grateful for Patrice and Renee's assistance. Patrice helped us to stay within budget although we went over on flowers due to import fees. Our vision was executed. We spoke on the phone often and Patrice was always very responsive. She provided recommendations for other vendors as well as being gracious to work with the vendors with whom we were already contracted. They worked hard to make our wedding day a success.

I attended an event that this lady and her company were supposed to plan and decorate for, and she was beyond unprofessional. She had a stink and mean demeanor as if we, the guests, were bothering her. One time, she even caught herself complaining to me about her client not knowing she was talking about my COUSIN! Just very unprofessional and clueless about what a special day a wedding is! If you want negative mean energy at your event, hire her!! -

I’m taking the time to do this because I would hate for any other bride to experience the horror my guests and I faced dealing with Patrice Dehaney and her team Candace and Titania of Luxe Event. They are scammers who prey on us brides, highly overpriced and provide bare minimum with props that are reused over and over. I first questioned her about my gauged invoice prices about a month before the wedding which she explained away but quickly became angry when it had to be correct. Then 2 weeks before the wedding I also caught miscalculated Zelle and wire payments that would’ve cause me to overpay my invoice. This is when things went all the way down hill from there. The day of my wedding she did everything in her power to ruin it! Patrice & her team purposely used colors & flowers I didn’t want, not to mention charging $5000 for fake flowers at the ceremony site alone! They put out 40 chairs at a 28 guest wedding to promote herself as someone doing huge wedding disregarding that I didn’t want the eye sore as we discussed. Just the seats for my guests. She purposely pushed back the start time and delays my wedding party to ensure that I would miss my sunset wedding. She argued with me NUMEROUS times in my actual wedding day about everything from hurrying to take photos to a company that we paid $5K to. She argued with me about having my guest hurry from the cocktail hour to the reception even though we had a timeline of how things would go. It rained for about 45 minutes which is expected in Jamaica around this time. She had no back up plan even though I asked days prior. Her or no one from her team
was on site to clean up my ceremony site and isle when the rain stopped causing that extra time delay and my wedding starting at night!!! The worst part is I also paid Patrice a separate of $3000 to event coordinate. Unfortunately my husband and I, our guests , everyone was left without instructions or cues. Patrice didn’t even show up until the cocktail hour to argue that it was time for guest to go to reception. Candace, her assistant did nothing all day but watch me get dress. She didn’t communicate with my guests about what to do or where to go. There was so much lack of communication from
them that my guests began texting me! They were extremely unprofessional and unknowable in anyway about to do at a wedding. And as I mentioned, we only had 30 total with us the bride and groom included.
Bottom line is that, if it wasn’t for my wonderful MOH who stepped in multiple times to help instruct guest, correct errors like them not having the ring and so forth. Help aLeo came in from my guests. Yes, some of my guests had to step up and inform everyone else of what to do and where to go. It was all so horrible! They didn’t drop the ball, they threw it.
It really does hurt when I think of how they tried to steal
this special moment from me and my family. But they failed! It just showed everyone how horribly wrong her work and behavior was. There are multiple examples of breached agreements and just general unpreparedness and unfortunately, lots of overcharging. So in essence I will be seeking legal advice. I wouldn’t hire Patrice for free!!! Don’t do it, she cannot take critic or advice. She forgets it’s the brides day and takes everything personal and she unfortunately takes out revenge! She should be ashamed to be in such an important industry where you need humility and a heart because she has none! Hire ANYONE except Patrice & Luxe Event Design.
Below are clear communications of me asking about the rain. About not using that bright pink, about the flowers my bridesmaids had. She did EVERYTHING I asked not to do. RUN DONT walk from that woman!
