Kayti has been SO lovely to work with. I found her through instagram (@lunalion.co) and was blown away by how gorgeous her work is. My partner and I were both very nervous to be in front of a camera and after the engagement shoot that we did with her we both shared a sigh of relief. She put us at ease and we knew we were in good hands for our wedding day! She was confident and knew how to help move the day along so that we got all of the photos that we wanted. Our wedding party thought that she was fun and they we’re responsive to all of her adjustments and prompts. I would highly recommend working with Luna and Lion. The finish product speaks for itself and the lead up to it is filled with professionalism and laughter. -

We hired Kayti as our lone wedding photographer, and she exceeded absolutely every single expectation we had.
During the wedding itself, she was an absolute champ. Focused but patient, armed with not one but *two* cameras on some sort of sling contraption (?), she eased us into the daunting task of being in front of the camera. We had crystal clear direction and really calm guidance.
I think she told me "smile with your eyes!" like 2 billion times. And looking at the final album, well, my eyes look awfully smiley--and the photos are all the better for it.
Wedding photographers require trust--this is the most important day ever! Kayti nailed it, and we'd 100% recommend her for anything, ever. -

Kayti shot our engagement photos and our small 2020 ceremony, and will be shooting our 2021 reception (thanks covid). We have LOVED working with her every step of the way. Shooting with her is a breeze and a ton of fun- she knows exactly how to pose you in a flattering and creative way, and she brings a strong vision to what she wants out of a shot that completely pays off in the final product. Her communication and flexibility (even when we had to change venues on her only two weeks out!) have been on point amidst the chaos of 2020 and she made our postponing/rescheduling process so simple. We can’t wait to work with her again next year! -

Kayti did the most WONDERFUL job capturing our wedding. ❤️ Because of the photography package that worked best for us, we had only emailed and talked over the phone prior to the big day. Kayti immediately calmed my nerves upon meeting her and made both my husband and I feel so comfortable to be ourselves the whole day. Wedding photos are the most precious thing as they are a token and reminder of your special day and I cannot thank Luna and Lion enough for capturing ours in such a beautiful way that I get to cherish forever. My favorite thing about their work, is they truly are able to capture the moment and emotions in their shots. Since we ended up eloping due to covid 19, many of our families were not able to be there. But when we shared our photo album with them. Many said they felt they were there with us as all the photos were able to capture the story and essense very well.
Me and my husband took forever searching for the perfect photographer to capture our special day. After seeing so many pages we stumbled upon Luna and Lion page. I decided to reach out to them on Instagram and ask some questions. They were very prompt with their replies and made me feel very comfortable even when some of my questions were silly. After chatting with Kayti and getting some details sorted I finalized our booking. Leading up to the wedding anytime I had questions or needed help with finding locations etc, I would always reach out and they were always so nice and accommodating.
On the day of our scheduled photoshoot we met kayti at the location and I had told her how important it was for me to capture the first look moments. She made sure that was all arranged and ready to go as seamless as possible. Another concern of ours was Me and my husband were nervous on how to pose and what to do. Kayti was on top of it she directed us on exactly what to do and made us feel so so comfortable. It really felt like we were hanging out with a friend. She was always willing to go above and beyond to get the perfect shot. She is really so talented and very professional. Choosing them to capture our special day was one of the best decisions we ever made and we love our photos so so much. They literally look like they came straight from a magazine. We could not stop starring at them.

Even though it got too dark the day of our wedding to take bridals, she worked with us to make sure we got them another day and did an amazing job. It was such a joy to work with Kayti. We were looking for a documentary-style wedding photographer who could capture all the details that we would not be able to see otherwise (the day really does fly by!) and Kayti went above and beyond. She worked with us to create a wedding photo package that fit within our meager budget and was always very responsive to our inquiries and questions. Kayti was great to work with! Very easygoing and talented! She did a good combo of formal portraits and candids for my large Croatian-American wedding (think my big fat Greek wedding!) I have a big family and Kayti did great at getting everyone where they needed to go and picking beautiful areas to do our photos. I would highly recommend her! -

Great wedding photographer!
Both my husband and I are amazed at the photos that we received from Kayti from both our engagement shoot as well as our wedding! The photos captured our love and excitement for one another and the day. She was super flexible the day of our engagement shoot when my car broke down on the way, being happy to reschedule! The only slight shortcoming was with communication about receiving our photos back. With our engagement photos we waited 2 weeks longer than was mentioned to us, and did not receive a sneak peak of our wedding album which was mentioned. However, the quality of the photos after we received them were amazing! Highly recommend Luna & Lion!

Kayti was great! I would absolutely hire her again.
We went with the "value" package which was perfect for us. She was very accommodating when we had to change the scope of our wedding due to covid and helped me figure out how to fit the things we wanted into the time frame we had. The day of she was simply fabulous - she has great ideas that turned into beautiful photos. I particularly loved her humor and sharp wit - we had some BIG personalities in our group and she kept us all in check and in line. The final photos are so charming - we are so grateful for her work!
Two very small nits: She wasn't always timely on emailing me back, which for the type A bride I was could be frustrating. We also didn't get photos of all of our guests, which with a 25 person wedding I would have liked to see. She did tell me at the wedding that she doesn't take pictures of people eating (which is fair, no one needs photos of guests shoveling rice into their face), and because our reception was mostly dinner, I can see how there weren't as many natural opportunities. I wish I had known to ask her to proactively ask people to pose for photos so we could have documented everyone - just a heads up for anyone that might be important to! -

She is great! She is a sweetheart. She worked with me and my insecurities around a facial birth defect commendably. At one point we were going through the woods on the property where the venue was located for a good shot and I appreciated her spirit of adventure that matched mine well. She was also very flexible with dates for COVID reasons, as many vendors have been lately. She noticed that we wouldn't be utilizing the 8 hours we paid for well, so we were given the option to choose some of her other services. So we're getting an album. All in all a great experience. Thank you Kayti! -

We had rebooked from 2020 with no additional fee, which was super awesome. On the day of she was there on time, super friendly, and incredibly professional. After? We had to use multiple platforms to get an update of "not ready yet" for our photos when we asked gently for an estimated update in December. It has now been beyond the maximum time frame of 60 days per the contract to deliver the digital photos.
Once we finally receive our photos from the end of October I'll update the review to reflect the quality of photos.
EDIT: Per our contract that was not updated for "covid times" we were supposed to get our photos in 60 days. That clearly didn't happen. They arrived nearly 3 months after the vow renewal. The wait was not worth it.
Party photos were good. Posed photos were vert hit or miss. No goosebumps or nips were smoothed out, I had to go and do that myself. That begged the question of what was actually being edited? Couple posed photos were vert hit or miss. Many of them had serious framing issues and I've had to go through and crop them. I remember placing props on a nearby log and specifically asking if they were going to ruin the photo or if I needed to move them. I was assured they were fine. No, they weren't. I had to crop those out. In other photos we expressed concern about power lines in the background, and we were assured that those would not be in the final photo. They were. Again, this has me questioning the editing. The ceremony photos were laughably few. I will not be using any of them. We'd mentioned concern about the sun and were again falsely assured it wouldn't be a problem. There were 4 photos of my partner and I during the vow renewal and they were all group photos. No tender moment of wiping a tear from his eye, no zoom, no facial expressions, just 4 awful photos. What a waste of money. I hate well over half of the photos and will be downgrading my rating from 2 stars to 1.
