  I don't even know where to start thanking Michelle and Scott for their professional services and personal support. My husband and I were looking for a photographer that made us feel comfortable and provided high quality pictures at a reasonable price. Michelle and Scott definitely exceeded our expectations!
  
  We met a few photographers before choosing Luminaria- we realized we would spend most of our wedding with our photographers so we wanted to choose someone that made us feel comfortable, was fun and professional. No one else came close to forming that personal connection- we couldn't be happier with our choice! They provided direction and definitely fulfilled professional expectations but also laughed with us and made it a lot of fun. They blended in well with the wedding and worked very well with other vendors.
  
  Michelle and Scott were constantly reachable and responsive to requests and questions throughout the whole process. We love our pictures and plan on keeping in touch with Luminaria for future photography needs! Highly recommended!!!

  Due to circumstances beyond our control, my husband and I had to plan a wedding in a matter of weeks, not months, or even years. Michelle and Scott at Luminaria were wonderful! They worked with us on a shortened timeframe and even went over a simple list of things we could be forgetting that had nothing to do with the photography. Thank goodness, because I nearly forgot to send the deposit to the DJ!
  
  We wanted some fun, unconventional pictures and they had a ton of ideas. Unfortunately rain, cold, and high winds didn't allow us to use all of the outdoor venues we'd wanted, but I'm thinking of doing some fun family pictures with Luminaria at those venues instead.
  
  I can't recommend them high enough. They were prompt, professional and went above our expectations at every turn.

  We live in Minnesota, and we decided to get married in October 2009 in Rochester, where the I am from. We placed an ad on Craigslist, and got over one hundred and fifty responses. From the start, we were incredibly impressed with Luminaria Photography (Michelle and Scott). Michelle took the time to schedule several phone calls since we were long distance, and even scouted good photography spots prior to the big day. Since we weren' t getting our engagement pictures done, she graciously substituted photographing the wedding shower in place of the engagement pics at no extra charge. She and Scott are very personable and fir right in with the crowd!
  
  On the day of the wedding, she and Scott were amazing!! They captured every moment that we wanted, and were very flexible--if we wanted a certain picture, they took it for us. When we got the pictures, we were thrilled!!! They were absolutely gorgeous--Both Michelle and Scott really have an eye for detail and the pictures couldn't have been better. We have gotten so many compliments on them.
  
  When we got the CD of the pictures in the mail, they came in really sturdy and very nice leather cases.
  
  I would recommend Luminaria Photography for anyone who is looking for a terrific photographer. We are so glad we went with Michelle and Scott!!

  My husband and I had the opportunity to meet Michelle and her husband by luck. We were deep in the planning stages of our wedding when my Mom who was terminally ill with cancer took a turn for the worse, with 6 weeks left until the wedding and her health deteriorating, we decided to arrange and get married one weekend. Being 3 days away, we didn't think that we would possibly be able to find someone to photograph that day for us. The photographer that we had booked for our wedding that was 6 weeks away was not able to be there with us but highly recommended Michelle from luminaria. Through the crazy 3 days that we planned this wedding we spoke to Michelle numerous times about all the details that you plan out over a year or more time with a normal wedding in about 3 days. She was so flexible with the time as well as the venue! We didn't know until the evening before even where the wedding was going to take place! Michelle and her husband did a wonderful job photographing our wedding from the moment I got out of the car until the moment we left. Her pricing was very reasonable even with such short notice! Within a couple days we had some proofs back, then not much longer the rest of the pictures. They were absolutley perfect. We purchased the proof CD which was very reasonable as well as pictures which were reasonably priced as well as beautiful. A few weeks before our other wedding my mother passed away, so every day we are so happy and thankful that we made the decision to get married when we did and have that small ceremony and photograph it. We have kept in touch with Michelle even after our wedding, we are so happy that she was able to photograph our day with us, and that is a day that we will remember forever, and we are so happy that we have pictures to remember it as well. We HIGHLY recommend Michelle, she is a wonderful person as well as a great photographer. The pictures that she took are gorgeous and her prices are reasonable as well. Thanks Michelle! :)

  Luminaria photographed our engagement pictures, and also shot for our wedding and reception. We were very impressed with the engagement photos and we used one for the signing portrait at our reception. They put together an album for us, which was a special treat - since our main album, done by a different photog, was taking much longer to create. Luminaria's album was tastefully done and provided us with something to show friends, coworkers and other people who were not at the actual event.
  
  Their knowledge of the area, light conditions, sites and weather conditions was impressive and led to great photography - candids, portraits, etc. They did a great job managing time, as well, so that we were able to shoot at several sites before the weather forced us to wrap things up.
  
  We were, and continue to be, impressed by Luminaria's work and will certainly hire them again in the future. We certainly recommend Luminaria Photography to others, as well.
