Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! Our wedding video is exactly what we envisioned and we have Sarah to thank for preserving our memories for our lifetime and our family's future. If you have done your research, then you are probably aware of all the accolades for Luminance and maybe even shed a tear or two ;) Choosing Sarah and her husband for our wedding videographers was one of the best decisions we made on our special day. We will tell you why...

Sarah took the time to meet with us on the phone several times -despite different states and time zones- listened to our vision, our requests and answered all of our questions. Communication is HUGE for us and of course top priority for anyone planning a wedding. We are so grateful that Sarah not only helped us navigate what we needed in terms of our wedding video. She replied to all our emails and text/phone calls all the way during the process. Sarah also respected our decision not to have our video posted on social media - this was so important to us.

On our wedding, Sarah and her husband arrived on time and walked with us every step of the way. Let me tell you, despite all the great reviews, it was nerve wracking to plan a wedding thousands of miles away and trust that the vendors will do what they promised. Needless to say, Sarah's professionalism was refreshing and relieving!

Amazing videographers!

Sarah and Scott were absolutely amazing. They captured our wedding perfectly and heard from so many people that it was the best wedding film they had ever seen! It brought back all of the emotions from our wedding day, and we are so thankful we chose them! They were so easy to work with and responded quickly to all of our questions. Sarah was also very flexible and patient with me as it took me months after the wedding to decide on the songs for the video (we were initially trying to obtain rights for a certain song which did not work out but Sarah provided us with other options and found two beautiful songs which matched perfectly). I highly recommend Luminance Wedding films for your wedding!

Nothing Short of Perfect

Oh. My. Gosh. My wife and I were absolutely speechless and emotional from everything Luminance captured and portrayed so beautifully on our wedding day. To be honest, it is nothing short of perfect. Worth Every Penny!

Choosing Luminance as our videographer was by far the easiest decision we made during the wedding process. In fact, we didn’t bother researching any other videographers. Their work speaks for itself! They are the very best in the business and worth every penny! Whether you know exactly what you want from your short film or put it in the hands of their creative minds we promise you won’t be disappointed. They are so easy to work with and truly are wonderful people. They are very friendly and make you feel extremely comfortable. They are very prompt at responding to any questions or concerns you may have. Prior to our wedding, they had shot many of our friends and families weddings and the results were stunning. This couple was sent to us from God at a very important and special time. We still can’t believe they traveled halfway across the world to film our wedding day! To be honest we even thought it might be a fraud. But after chatting and talking with them, their kindness and sweetness caught out heart. We couldn’t help but trust them totally. Most of the talking and chatting we had were with Sarah and she has a very sincere and down-to-earth personality that melted our hearts. After seeing their work, and reviews couples gave on Facebook and on their website, we did not, for a second, doubt that they would do great work. We planned and worried about many things for our wedding, but video was not one of them. We just knew they would do an awesome job. A two-days Ethiopian wedding is very exhausting, but they pulled it off with a constant smile. Our wedding film is just AWESOME! We don’t have words!

Trust them with your special day!

It’s been over a year since our wedding! I almost never would come back to write a review, however this review is LONG overdue. It’s a been a busy first year as a married couple with new jobs, house etc. We had the pleasure of working with Sarah and her husband Scott for our short films. These guys are the dream team.
I contacted Sarah back in 2015 to film a video (for a surprise proposal for my at the time girlfriend and soon to be fiancé), and the film turned out amazing! We were so impressed with their work, we asked them to be our videographers for our wedding in 2017.
I did my research, and really glad I did! If you want someone that can truly capture the moment, I highly recommend Luminance Wedding Films! Let’s face it, anyone can hold up a camera and record video, but it takes a true artist to make the audience feel like they are really there!
The most amazing part is Sarah, being pregnant at nine months, was due any day and came ALL the way out to Phoenix from Albuquerque to capture our wedding. She absolutely didn’t have to, and had plenty of cameramen that were going to be there to do the job, but she is absolutely dedicated to what she does and made the drive. She is truly a master of her craft. They can direct, shoot, and capture, and make you feel like a movie star! 5 stars to you guys! And Scott, the drone footage was awesome!
We are so happy we trusted Luminance Films to capture some very special days. Thanks for the incredible work.

Outstanding

I cannot begin to describe how happy I am with the work Sarah and Scott have put together for us! They are the most wonderful people to work with and they truly feel like family at this point. Luminance has filmed almost all of my families weddings and yet each time they continue to amaze us with their talent. They do a great job getting to know the couple individually and despite all of us cousins getting married at the same church, and the same reception hall they continue to create new and unique videos that truly fit the personalities of each couple.

I look forward to watching our video over and over again every year to remember this incredible day with all of our family and friends. Thank you again Sarah and Scott for your beautiful work!

If you are on the fence about getting a wedding film DO it and especially do it with Luminance Wedding films. The day of your wedding everything is such a blur and I couldn't be more thrilled to have not only photo but video as well to document and help me to remember such a special day. There are so many little details I forgot about and even moments and having the people you love in a video goes beyond what photography alone can do. My whole family loved the video as well as my friends and I can't ask for a better memento. Sarah puts so much time, thought and love into what she does and it absolutely shows. I can't wait to show this video to my children and their children because it means so much to my husband and I. I couldn't recommend Luminance more for your videography needs.

Book them now!! Plan your wedding around them! Visit their site and watch the videos. Sarah and Scott are the absolute best and you would be crazy not to hire them. Luminance creates a mini-movie starring you and your loved ones. The mood, the music, the editing create an emotional journey. No matter what kind of ceremony and options you choose, I promise you will not be disappointed. We went with basic options, but added the drone and extra footage (both highly recommended) and are over the moon with the results. Luminance captured the emotions and created moments that would have slipped away if we had not hired them. I did not want the typical wedding video and I was not disappointed. Watch their videos and see for yourself. If you want the best, look no further, you found it.

Sarah and Scott are the most thoughtful, patient, creative, and dynamic duo you could ever dream of having film your special day! From the beginning, Sarah was professional and responsive, but more importantly flexible, kind, and considerate. She listens to everything you desire and goes FAR beyond and above. She was careful in making sure she understood what was important to us, patient while working with difficult vendors, and was just so mindful of giving us a positive experience throughout. Not to mention, she had just been in the hospital the night before with labor contractions, and she was still brilliant and top-notch! Everyone was so impressed!
I knew I wanted to hire them when I would rewatch their videos (of strangers!) and I would cry and cry and cry. Our wedding film is gorgeous- go watch it! And book them immediately. They were the one vendor I was absolutely 100% sure I was making the right choice about. If there is anything you put your money into, it should be this. They are worth every penny!

A dream wedding, a picture perfect day...all we wanted was to enjoy every minute of our day, that passed too quickly. Thanks to Sarah and Scott, we have many of our precious moments, many that we did not even get to see! There are no words to share how amazing Sarah and Scott are at Luminance Wedding Films are. Before I was even engaged I knew that I wanted them to share in not only my wedding day but also the entire journey. There was no question that their professionalism and artistic ability would bring an amazing touch to our special day! Leading up to the wedding and the events of the week, Sarah had filled me in with what the day would look like and scheduling to make sure the things we wanted to have as part of our movie were covered. Our wedding went smoothly and we were very excited to get our video. When we received our video our expectations were blown away. One of the best decisions I made for my wedding day was hiring Luminance. My sister told me that, as a bride, anything tangible you can take away from your wedding is worth investing in, i.e. the photos, video, etc. After receiving my video from Luminance, I cannot express how much this is true!! Luminance captured the atmosphere of my wedding which could not have been captured so successfully in any other medium. I know that my happiness for owning this keepsake will only enhance as my husband and I get older.

Hands down the BEST wedding decision we made by hiring Luminance Wedding Films to document the best day of our lives. A quality videographer for our wedding was one of our top priorities in all the decisions we had to make… So much so, we set our date around the availability of Luminance. They over-delivered! What could I possibly say to express how incredible Sarah and Scott were at capturing our wedding?
My husband and I are actors (and he is a filmmaker!), so it was important to us that any wedding film we had was beautiful and made with care. Luminance was the top of our list, (just look at their other films, these two are top of the line) and they knocked it out of the park from the beginning to the final product.
Sarah and Scott are so warm and funny and kind, they put us at ease and truly listened to what we wanted, and what was important to us. Having them with us on the day was such a joy- they added to the fun and beauty of the moment! The film they made reflects the joy and love that was all around, and it makes me cry with happiness every time I watch it.
We weren't sure we wanted a wedding film, but I am so beyond happy that we have it- there are moments that I would have forgotten, or would never have seen, and it is such a gift to be able to revisit them or discover them through the incredible footage and editing skill of Sarah and Scott.
My husband and I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you're in the market for wedding videographers, look no further. It doesn't get any better than these two. We love them!

Let me start by saying, I am so happy with the wedding film we received. It is really more of a personalized movie! The video quality, sound, and lighting were phenomenal. I have watched my feature film dozens of times and each time I burst into happy tears. The storyline of the feature film was pure perfection and captured every moment I could have asked for...and that was just the feature film. This is definitely an important investment and I'm am 100% satisfied with every penny we spent. We looked around at several other wedding film makers and Luminance Wedding films are hands down the best. I have gotten comments like, "I have never seen anything so amazing in a wedding film", "So beautiful, it's like I was there" "It brought me to tears." I am very happy with the photographs I received from my photographer, but this honestly tops them. The videos let me re-live the most wonderful day of my life over and over again. Sarah and her husband were sweet and professional and to be honest you really don't even know they are there, but they turn out spectacular work. I think a wedding film is a must have for a wedding and so why not go with the best.

A wedding is a once in a lifetime experience, an extraordinary occasion that deserves to be remembered beyond still pictures. We are still amazed how Sarah and Scott captured that special day in May we shared with our close family and friends at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya.

Never had I thought filming our wedding would be ideal for us, but it was the best choice overall. I choose Luminance Wedding Films after doing some research on videographers and wedding films. Originally, we planned for a traditional photographer, but after seen the quality of Luminance Wedding Films, I managed to convince my fiancé that having a wedding film would be a lifelong memory. The unique filming style of Luminance Wedding Films and visioning the end results made the whole experience exciting. From our initial interview with Sarah and Scott to the rehearsal the night before and finally the day of our wedding, they were so accommodating and best of all comfortable to be around. Their professionalism extended beyond us, but with our wedding vendors, even collaborating with our photographer; all commenting how they enjoyed working together.

When we viewed our wedding trailer for the first time, not only was it a remarkable gift, but in 60 seconds they captured a day full of moments so elegant and precise that it left us breathless. The final version was so unbelievable that our family often said it felt like the day was relived every time it was watched. We are grateful for Sarah and Scott.

Exquisite work!!! The attention to detail, time and energy Sarah and Scott put into our film is unbelivable! Choosing Luminance to be a part of our wedding day was one of the best decisions we made. With the cost of a wedding adding up so quickly, I wasn't sure if a videographer would fit in our budget, but being able to relive our special day through such a beautiful perspective made this purchase the most valuable of them all. Luminance Wedding Films are simply AMAZING. Truth be told, we weren't originally going to have a wedding video. While I fantasized about hiring a videographer, expenses for our destination wedding seemed to be increasing daily and my husband was skeptical of incurring the additional cost. Meeting with Sarah put us completely at ease and even my critical husband couldn’t be happier with our decision to bring her and Scott to Germany with us.

Luminance Wedding Films did a spectacular job on our wedding video and we were blown away by both the quality and artistic vision film AND their ability to capture the happiest moments of our day. When planning our wedding, people constantly told me that the day flies by and that in the midst of the whirlwind you actually miss many of the details you spend months obsessing over. Let's just say I could not have asked for a better film of my wedding day! Sarah and Scott did amazing at capturing mine and my husband's personalities. They were extremely easy to work with and made sure I got what I wanted! (What more does a bride want, right?)

My day started with Sarah and Scott coming and getting some shots of me getting ready. They made it as less awkward as they could and they did an excellent job at that! (I hate being in front of a camera!) I also really liked that we were able to be mic’d up throughout the day. I appreciated that they were able to capture everything that was said at the alter and during our toasts. (That way you can actually remember what you said…)

Even after watching our short film almost 50 times (no exaggeration) it still gets me! If you're thinking about investing in a videographer, definitely go with Luminance, you won't be disappointed! Sarah and Scott are a perfect example of a business/vendor/couple that want the best for your day. They take no short cuts and make sure you get exactly what you want and more!

LOVE, LOVE,LOVE what you have done ! Words just fail me right now.... Ashley and Colby's film(Daddy Loves Ashley) was absolutely beautiful....everything you put in was just perfect !!! I hope you know how very much we enjoyed having you and your husband to share their special day with our family. I have watched the film three times and all three times is has made me cry (happy tears of course :), this is the most perfect way for my kids to remember their special day. Wedding Planning is SO Stressful! Especially when figuring out what you must have and what you can do without on your special day. You can budget for so many things. You can do your own music, your own decorating, even do your own entertainment. One thing you can NOT DO WITHOUT on your Wedding Day is A Videographer.
After deciding that a Videographer was an absolute must I began searching for the perfect Videographer. I must have read millions of reviews and watched a ton of Cinematography films. Not a single film came CLOSE to Sarah and Scott's Videos. There was no comparison at the amazing work they portrayed on their films.
Sarah and Scott are highly professional! They go above and beyond to make their customers happy. When dealing with tons of vendors for your wedding, that is the one thing that you can find lacking with many vendors. They were constantly coming up with new ways and new ideas to make our film absolutely amazing!! On the day of our wedding they were so professional and caught ever single special moment, even more.
My Cinematography Film has not only brought us and our family to tears, but also strangers. Being a Bride or Groom, your day goes by incredibly fast. With so many timelines, places to be, people to talk to, that you forget to enjoy the main reason you are there, LOVE. Sarah and Scott remind you in their films, exactly why you were standing in front of your spouse that day. They depict a romance on film between the Bride and Groom that is like a fairy-tale love, that can only be captured when the two are alone!
I highly recommend to anyone planning their wedding, that a Videographer is the number one most important thing you need on your Wedding Day, next to the Bride and Groom. Sarah and Scott are the absolute BEST out there! They have given us a beautiful film that we can cherish for many years to come, and be able to show our Grandkids what True Love Is.

Words can't describe how wonderful and beautiful and beyond-my-wildest-imagination the wedding preview video and full film were. was. I am so looking forward to sitting down with my husband and watching them over and over. But, I expected that kind of quality from Luminance. I am one to do my research and knew without a shadow of a doubt that, after watching some of their videos, I wouldn't go with anyone else for our wedding. What was unexpected, however, was how warm and kind and professional Sarah and Scott are (and continue to be). I told Jason after our first meeting with Sarah, "Man, I really like her." And that's remained true. Thank you Luminance for not only capturing so many moments with a level of perfect-ness and talent only you could have, but for being so fun and wonderful amidst all of the wedding chaos. I don't know how you all did it, but you really captured the feel of the entire wedding and all of the most important things to me; the things that I really wanted captured. You didn't know us very well, but it didn't seem that way judging from how you shot the wedding and how perfectly in line it was with what we were looking for. Thank you will never, ever cover my gratitude.

When my husband and I discovered Luminance's webpage after our engagement, we were immediately sold. We watched film after film and just could not get enough! The short films are truly spectacular and magical. Sarah and Scott definitely did not disappoint when it came to our short-film. It was incredible to experience the laughter, tears, joy and magic of our day all over again. Sarah and Scott not only captured our fairy-tale day, but they turned it into a work of art. My husband and I reviewed work by a number of videographers, but Luminance was in a completely different class. During the planning process, I went to their website more times than I would like to admit and watched all of their films...multiple times! I knew they were the perfect choice to document our day.

Sarah and Scott have perfected their art into something truly magical. Their creativity and love for their work show in every film. Each film tells a beautiful story, while capturing the unique personality of each couple. Our film did not disappoint. It immediately transported us back to the joy and love we felt on our wedding day. It reminded us of special moments that had been forgotten. It brought on tears and laughter, and was just as amazing as I expected.

Hiring Luminance was the best vendor decision we made, and I highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding. The wedding day goes by in such a blur and so many moments are forgotten. With our film, we are able to relive every moment! Thank you, Sarah and Scott!

When we first began planning our wedding, I knew I wanted a videographer. I had seen Luminance's work from friends' weddings and there was no question: I wanted them to film our wedding. They set themselves apart from everyone else. They were storytellers; they didn't have a formula; and every video was magical and unique to the couple.

The day comes and goes so fast. You suffer "bride's brain" from all the excitement and have a hard time remembering those special moments that you thought about during the planning process. And with our wedding video we can.

My piece of advice to brides is to plan and budget for a wedding videographer, specifically Luminance. Sarah is kind, reliable and creative -- it never felt like we were being filmed or staged. Her team just blended in with our friends and family. Watching our video bring us and our families much joy -- to look back on a day that means so much to us with the clarity, details and moments that Luminance captured is the best gift we could ask for. My husband and I were not initially planning on hiring a wedding videographer for our wedding in Santa Fe. During a planning meeting, our DJ suggested that we consider hiring a videographer and encouraged us to watch one of Sarah’s films. I fell in love with her work. One film in particular I watched so many times that I feel like I know the couple personally! I knew we had to explore the option of working with Luminance. We met with Sarah the following week over Skype and she was so easy to talk with and was a wonderful listener. We instantly felt very comfortable with her and were confident that Luminance Wedding Films would capture all of the special moments during our wedding day.

Sarah and Scott were so fun to work with. We had so much fun with them, but more importantly, they are true professionals. They know the moments they need to capture and they caught every event throughout the day without being over-bearing or in the way.

Although we did not have any budget for a video, we decided it was an investment that we were willing to make and I am SO happy that we did. Our highlight video blew me away. I have watched our video over and over and each time I notice another detail that Sarah took the time to capture and include. I realize now that the critical job of a videographer is not just to capture your wedding day on a video, it is how they put the pieces of your wedding day together to capture the feeling of the day, the joy of the couple and the excitement felt between all of the important people who are part of the day! Luminance Wedding Films are skilled at pulling those feelings into their films.

Hiring Luminance was hands down one of the best decisions I made when planning my wedding. They are professional, warm, patient and incredibly creative. They were an absolute joy on our wedding day and the video completely blew all expectations out of the park. We can't even begin to say how wonderful Luminance Wedding Films was throughout the whole experience! Sarah was easy to work with and made us feel very comfortable! We loved working with her!

The emotions and details that they captured both in the highlight film and our docuedit was AMAZING! It felt like we were reliving our wedding all over again! We have watched our highlight film at least 1,000 times and the feeling is the same every time! We have had so many compliments from friends and family everyone thinks it is just as perfect as we do! It's the perfect keepsake!

If we are ever in need of a videographer again we know exactly who to call :)

Luminance did an amazing job with our wedding video! The moments she and her husband captured do an excellent job of telling "our story". When we got our highlight video back, we watched it about 8 times in one day!

Our video had a great balance of showing the fun and happy moments on our wedding day, as well as the sentimal mements that are also very important. It was perfect! We also loved how she captured the town of Taos and the entire scenery of the venue and reception. It was so neat to see all of this amidst the wedding festivities.

Sarah and her husband were VERY easy to work with. I have to note that Sarah and her team agreed to film our wedding even though they were flying out the next day to Seattle for another wedding. She graciously agreed, and we are so glad she decided to film our wedding day. We would recommend her to anyone!

We had booked Luminance Wedding Films for a wedding in July... and right when we found out the groom was being deployed, Luminance not only did everything to accommodate us, they made our film into one of the most beautiful and tangible memories of that day.

Words cannot express how grateful I am. The video is everything I wanted, and so much more. I cant watch it without bawling like a baby-- I had almost forgotten how magical it was and how happy I felt that day. The film brought me straight back to those moments, and most of all-made me feel like a bride all over again!

Sarah & Scott are so talented and amazing to work with! Their creativity and love for what they do truly shows in all of their work. They get to know you as a couple and create a video that reflects your love. Sarah & Scott traveled to Whidbey Island, Washington for our destination wedding. They were the first vendor we booked and the only vendor we brought with us from New Mexico. They worked great with our photographer and other vendors and have been so flexible with our needs. We can't wait to share the films with our friends and family!

We love our film!

Our wedding was in New Mexico but we planned everything from San Francisco, and Sara help make video planning a breeze. From the start, she was very nice and professional over the phone and by email. Once we met in person she was charming and open to what we wanted in our video, but asked us to trust her creativity. Sara did a great job capturing who we are and captured timeless memories of our special day. On wedding day, it was game day for Sara and her crew! Their execution was nothing less than professional. We’ve had numerous compliments on the video and I personally can’t stop watching it. We are so happy we have this video to treasure. Thank you Luminance!

For future bride and grooms that are debating on hiring a videographer, I would say hire Luminance Wedding Films! This is a great way to see your hard work in planning, witness how happy your guest were for you on your wedding day, and to see your love in action.

Working with Sarah at Luminance was such a treat. I initially was not going to do a wedding video, but after seeing her work online and crying over wedding films of people I didn't even know, I knew I had to have her. The final product that we received was amazing! My husband and I can't stop watching it. We've received tons of compliments from all sorts of people with how professional the video looks. Sarah is so friendly and just a joy to be around. I could totally see us being friends if I lived in Albuquerque. That being said, planning a wedding video from out of state was so easy. Sarah was extremely helpful and always available when we needed her. You won't regret using them for your big day!!

I think that I have watched our wedding highlight video about 5 times a day since Sarah uploaded it last week! The more I watch it the more I fall in love with it. The amount of detail that Sarah was able to capture is truly stunning and the way she pieced everything together was just wonderful! I can't begin to imagine the amount of effort that went into filming, cutting, and editing but I do know that the result was extremely beautiful! In addition, Sarah was able to capture everything special about our wedding day in one 7 minute video-AMAZING! It is something that we will look forward to showing our children and something we can watch for many years to remember that special day.

Luminance produced an absolutely wonderful film of our wedding. Sarah (the principal owner) somehow captured amazing shots throughout the event without ever being intrusive. She has a real knack for being in the right place at the right time to capture all the special moments that make up a wedding day! The final film has the production values of a professional Hollywood film. The shots are clear and steady and the editing is fluid and very thoughtful! Sarah was a pleasure to work with! From start to finish, Sarah from Luminance was WONDERFUL to work with. As a destination bride, it was stressful to find a great videographer that you trust, and most importantly, whose style you admire. I loved the films that were already on their website, and was confident they would be a good fit for us as well. After talking to Sarah over the phone, I immediately knew she would be amazing to work with! She is friendly, funny, smart, and creative. She made everything easy, was SUPER flexible, and the finished product was the most amazing memory we have of our wedding. They caught every emotion that weddings bring, and bring every person who watches the video to tears. Seriously, I have gotten so many compliments on it! Sarah and her husband Scott drove 7 hours from New Mexico to Kansas for our wedding. They are both extremely professional and they bring their own equipment. On arrival, they got in touch with our photographer, the church, and DJ to get the best sound, which may not seem like a big deal, but it is! It's what makes their videos sound crisp and clear instead of that echo or noise in the background.
The following is my response when I got to see our finished video:)

Ok I saw your email like at 6 am this morning and I made Gio wake up to watch it with me and after that I couldn't sleep anymore haha! I saw it once and then put my phone away. ..idk why?!?! It felt unreal! Now I just watched it again and nope it is definitely real and I LOVE it!! It's weird watching myself haha, but you made me relive my wedding day, and that is something no picture can capture. I wanted to have fun on my wedding day and I did and I saw that through this amazing film! I felt all the emotions I was feeling that day all over again and I even teared up on the part where we're at the church and when we were giving our toasts. This video is so special to us b/c it's just so tailor-made exclusively for us! I have never felt more catered to and had someone be so passionate like you about making this perfect for us♡♡! The least I can say is thank you..not only is this something that I will have forever to share with my children and their children, but there is no better feeling than working with a fun, nice, comfortable, and dedicated team like you and your husband!

I am so happy we chose Luminance to document our wedding day!
My husband wasn't so sure we needed a videographer but I knew I'd regret it if we didn't. He was so impressed with the quality equipment they use and the videos they created were so much better than any we had seen. It is evident the time they take to create a beautiful video, unique to each couple.
Sarah is so professional and talented and she takes the time to get to know each couple she works with. Our video is SO us! And that's because she knew us!
Everyone who's seen it says, "that is so you!" or "so Luis!" (my husband). Our personalities and love for each other was depicted so well and it was just so honest - the video captured the effortlessness of it all.

In planning my wedding, I was not completely convinced I needed a cinematographer. Everything involved in planning a wedding is so expensive as it is and I thought a wedding video would be one added cost that wasn't necessary. I WAS COMPLETELY WRONG.
I am so incredibly grateful that I hired Sarah because the day after our wedding I woke up and struggled to remember so much of the day before. The actual day of the wedding was a whirlwind. The days and weeks after, I felt like I had blacked out from a combination of excitement, nervousness and an overload of family and friends. Waking up and only remembering bits and pieces of this incredibly special day I had spent months planning left me with a huge feeling of dread. However, I was comforted knowing that Sarah had at least captured some of the day. Then when I watched our wedding video, all of the details from the wedding day came rushing back to me. All of the special moments that I witnessed and even some that I missed were there. With this video I will always have the ability to re-experience every gorgeous detail and all of the emotion that photographs alone cannot begin to capture. I will remember forever exactly what my dad said in his speech. The service and product Sarah and her husband produce are not only incredible, but completely invaluable. This is the one wedding service that was worth every penny paid and more. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for their gifting my husband and I the ability re-experience our wedding day over and over.

Sarah was professional yet she kept the filming light and fun, and we had a blast. I was blown away that she captured all the little moments we weren't able to see on the wedding day. My husband and I are obsessed with our wedding video done by Luminance Wedding Films! It looks straight out of a movie and it was so nice to see all the things that we didn't get to on our special day! Sarah was so incredible to work with. She was kind and professional. She kept me updated on the status of the video and repeatedly thanked us for not only our business, but our patience as well. The wait was beyond worth it. Where do I start ... I cannot express how thankful I am that we found Luminance Wedding Films. I searched and searched and watched so many videos throughout wedding planning, and when I saw LWF, I knew I had to have them shoot our wedding. Their videos speak for themselves, and the tugs on my heartstrings were convincing, but after emailing and meeting with Sarah, I was completely sold. I'm a stickler for customer service, and Sarah has this wonderful way of giving you her full attention, excitement, and love - and carries that into your wedding day. And it shows, both on her face, and in her work. From beginning to end Sarah and LWF was great; they were speedy with answering emails, eager to meet and chat all about our big day, and assuring that they've got it all under control and were going to capture our day amazingly. And that they did. My husband took some convincing of hiring a videographer (with our budget, etc), but when we got the highlight film back and sat down and watched it, I looked over and he was *crying* and said to me, "I'm SO glad we did this!!" I've watched the video over and over, and every single time I go back to that day and my heart skips and I can't breath, feeling so thankful to have this footage, and to be able to watch that over and over again, that came and went so quickly. I could talk about LWF forever, I truly am so unexplainably thankful that we chose them for our wedding day, and I wouldn't recommend making any other choice. Our flowers have died, the cake was smashed/eaten ;), the center pieces are long gone and in pieces, our wedding party and family traveled back to their homes, things got lost, broken, forgotten. But this video, this video we will have forever, and we will cherish it forever. Thank you, endlessly, to Luminance Wedding Films for giving us such a wonderful vendor experience, and an incredible video that we absolutely love!!!

Sarah and her husband were amazing! My husband and I are completely happy with our experience with them. We love the videos they put together, both the full length and the highlight. Every aspect of it was above and beyond anything we have seen from other companies.

We also appreciate how flexible and creative they were in getting footage even with very poor weather.
I am so happy that we chose Luminance to do our wedding film and enjoyed aspect of our experience with them.

When my husband and I began planning our wedding and were going through the careful process of selecting our vendors, neither of us saw the need for a videographer. At the time it just seemed like an extra expense, and in our minds hiring a great photographer would be enough.

About three weeks before our wedding, our thoughts on having a videographer completely changed when we saw the highlight film from my brother and sister-in-law's September wedding. Our jaws dropped and we were in complete awe of the beautiful film that Sarah Kanafani had created. We felt like we were crazy by wanting to try and hire a videographer less than three weeks before the wedding, but after seeing that video we knew that it was something we would regret not having. We contacted Sarah, and by some stroke of luck, she still had the date available for our wedding.

This was one of the best decisions that we made in the entire wedding planning process. Sarah and her husband Scott were an absolute pleasure to work with. They went above and beyond on the day of our wedding in order to get the most incredible shots. They were completely professional in every aspect, while at the same time having the ability to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera.

We waited anxiously for our highlight film to be completed, and when it was done we had the same jaw dropping sense of awe that we had when we watched my brother and sister-in-law's film a few months earlier. Luminance Wedding Films did not disappoint! The highlight film captured all of the love, laughter, and fun of our wedding day. I told Sarah that the film was totally "us".

The highlight film and the wedding video will be something that we treasure for the rest of our lives. I would highly recommend Luminance Wedding Films to anyone who is considering hiring a a wedding videographer!

Where to even begin? Recruiting Luminance to chronicle the most important day of my life up to now, was the best decision I've ever made! (Besides, of course, that I decided to marry my now-husband :) .) Sarah was the most competent vendor we worked with - she was on top of EVERYTHING and thought of every detail so we didn't have to. She went the extra mile and touched base with me a week before the wedding, contacted all of our other vendors to coordinate with them, and came to our rehearsal which was inconveniently in the middle of a work-day. It was so refreshing to not have to worry about coordinating with her. She was so good, that she practically replaced any need for a wedding coordinator... Seriously! Once we decided to go with Luminance we didn't have to think about much else. She was kind, fun to work with and made us and all of our guests feel completely comfortable. Looking back, I can't even remember seeing her video camera at all during the evening - she was completely discrete about getting some pretty precious moments. And the video... wow. Every time I watch it, it's like I'm back in that day, experiencing the joy, excitement and beauty all over again. I would recommend her to anyone without any hesitation. If you are looking for a videographer (and even if you aren't) Luminance is worth every penny. And if you are on a tight budget? Better to send your guests home hungry then get married without Luminance there to document it.

In the beginning my husband and I were a little nervous to have our wedding filmed. At first we thought it maybe too much and it would be distracting to have a bunch of cameras around. We changed our minds the moment we met Sarah. We fell in love with her sweet and down to earth personality. She made us feel 100% comfortable and all of our reservations went right out the window.

By the time it was our wedding day we had communicated with Sarah so much that we felt like she was a friend of ours, which only made us feel more comfortable. Luminance Films and there staff were so professional and talented. We totally trusted what would come of our wedding video.

Then- it was here! Our highlight video- We were so anxious and excited to see it! My husband and I watched it for the first time by ourselves. It was AMAZING! As tears streamed down our faces we were able to experience our wedding day all over again. We got to see it from our guests perspective and see all the minor details, that we missed,from all the long planning, come to life. Then my family and friends saw it and the amazement poured in. One of our favorite comments that we received from a friend of was "wow. This is like a trailer to movie I really want to see". It's true, Luminance films turned our wedding day into a fairy tale movie. It is something we will cherish for the rest of our lives and we can't wait to share it with our children one day, and for them to share it with their children...

Thank you so much luminance films for capturing our special day so beautifully--we can now relive and treasure how great it was forever.

One word, AMAZING!! They say a picture is worth a thousand words but her videos are worth a million. We’ve received so many compliments on our wedding video from how they’ve never seen anything like it to how it looks like it’s out of a movie. The compliments go on and on and the truth is her videos are one of a kind. She captured all the little things that made our wedding day perfect. She brought all the emotions from our wedding day alive again and now our family and friends get to experience what we did that day. Luminance Wedding Films did Sean and Liz's wedding, on a mountain top in Angel Fire, New Mexico. When I arrived off the chair lift I saw Sarah with the bride and that was the last time I saw her or Scott, the rest of the day they were not in my view. When I saw the highlight video, I was amazed. It perfectly showed the emotions of the day, Sean and Liz’s love for each other and all their hard work in the little details. The sweeping vistas, the laughter shared and the voice overs of the Liz’s grandfather’s prayer along with the pastor's service were all so beautiful. I ran into the pastor last week and his comment of the video was “It was stunning”. I could not have said it better. Sarah and Scott managed to capture the important moments of our daughter's wedding day which was so evidently seen with their creative editing intertwined perfectly with the music. Their highlight film began with a treasured prayer given by the brides grandfather. I love how they worked into the film the little things we did such as the wooden signs we made, her sister surprising her with cotton candy and her father tossing a "Rose Petal Bomb" into the bride and grooms face as they made their exit. From start to finish their work is exquisite! Everyone that we have shown the film to agrees.
They created beautiful memories for us that will last a life time.

Sarah is a genius when telling a story behind the lens. She captured the details of our daughter's wedding with clarity and emotion while choosing the very best music to accompany every image. The lyrics of each song she chose magically matched every memory that was being created. We've received numerous compliments on the outstanding vimeo available on her website, stating how the vimeo looks like a professional movie from Hollywood. Our friends and family have watched her wedding and luncheon vimeos over and over again with great emotion. We are pleased beyond words concerning the phenomenal work delivered in elegant packaging with photos on the covers and DVD's. We were extremely impressed with all of the attention given to all three events that Sarah and her husband, Scott covered. We only wish we had known about "Luminance" and Sarah's artistic creations with her camera when our other daughter was married. Sarah and Scott were the most amazing people to work with! Every time we watch our highlight video it's like reliving our wedding day all over again. They captured the moments that meant the most and put it together in a film that we will have forever. From the moment I spoke with Sarah on the phone I knew that I wanted her to do our film. She was friendly, knowledgeable and open to working with what we needed. She was helpful and always responded in a timely manner. It was so nice not having to stress because we trusted them so much. Working with her and Scott on the big day was a blast, every thing we did felt natural because it was so easy to be comfortable around them. Words cannot express how much we loved the end result. We just had the video done and I kick myself wishing that i had hired them to take the pictures as well, they did such a beautiful job with the video and incorporating the songs we had in our wedding, all my family and friends absolutely loved watching the video as well as my husband and I.! We were 110% satisfied with their work. If I could go back I would have had them stay longer than the 4 hours the cost would have been well worth it. I give them 5 stars in everything they really are great.

Of all the vendors I used for my wedding in Santa Fe, I was the most pleased with Luminance. Sarah and her husband were incredible to work with. Not only were they professional and courteous, they are talented and produce such amazing videos. Their videos truly capture all the moments of your special day. We worked with Sarah to make our wedding day even brighter and memorable time. I was surprised how the wedding video came out with the HD quality and perfect scenario. She's very artistic and all of our guests were surprised by our video and got jealous of it!

Of all the money we spent on our wedding, this was one of the few vendors that was worth every penny and more. We debated for quite some time about whether or not to have a videographer if we were already having photos. I came across her name through wedding wire and looked at her site. I was in awe. But, I wasn't sold until we met Sarah. She made us feel special and reminded us of how our wedding day was about the beauty of our love for each other. She reminded us of this at a time when we were getting lost in the decorations, food, making others happy. She met with us multiple times and asked us questions to get to know us (not questions like, what's your favorite color, etc..). She asked us details about us . . . Finally! To see our day in motion . . . there are no words for that. Sarah captured the essence of our love for each other. Her videos for our Save the Date, the Story of Us, and our Highlights . . . they're art. They are not just a video placed on a tripod. There is emotion in every moment on her films. I had already seen the work she did for us through her Save the Date and Story of Us, so we knew what she was capable of. On our wedding day, aside from when she came in when I was getting ready, I didn't see her. For a brief moment, I was worried that she wasn't around for those special moments. When we saw the video . . . Wow! She was every where! She just wasn't in our face the entire time. My now husband is rarely impressed with anyone as he dabbles in photos and video, but he has been bragging about Sarah to everyone. The music she picked was amazing. When we saw our raw vs edited videos, we became even more aware of how much work she puts into her art. We hired many different vendors for our wedding day to make sure our guests were taken care of, but Sarah . . . well, choosing to work with Sarah was a gift for us.

I wholeheartedly recommend Scott and Sarah for your wedding film! We are just blown away by the quality and beauty of our wedding video. Sarah is so kind and patient. She was pleasant to work with throughout planning. Be aware that they will ask you to fill out some pretty lengthy information forms early on in the process - this almost threw me off, but I'm completely happy that we went forward with them. They were unobtrusive on the day of the wedding and quite professional. They captured all of the important moments of the day, and were exactly where they said they would be at all times. Working with them was effortless. They are true professionals, and know a huge amount about their craft (and weddings in general). Sarah has the perfect gentle, calm and kind presence on your wedding day! This service wasn't cheap to us, but when you see their work, you know it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. They managed to capture the joy and beauty of our day, and our videos are already becoming a treasured family keepsake.
