Ludger's catering made our dreams come true to fit our renaissance theme wedding. I had searched for months for any places that could get us TURKEY legs for our main entree. Once I got in contact, Lindsay was extremely helpful, accommodating, and effectively communicative. Their staff did an awesome job in set up and clean up of guest plates. On top of the service, the food was DELICIOUS. -

Ludger's blew me away from the very beginning of my wedding planning process. Their professionalism and response time is absolutely unmatched. Michelle and Lindsay were an absolute dream to work with, they made everything SO easy. We knew immediately after our tasting that we wanted to book them. The sliced roast beef, mashed potatoes, and veggies were SO good. On my wedding day, Ludger's staff went above and beyond, and even my wedding planner made a comment on how great they were. Our food was hot and delicious- our guests were full and happy!Ludger's Catering & Events's reply:

Michelle was delightful to work with. She organized the sit down meal for my wedding and it came out perfectly! She also organized my rentals so that I didn't have to do it. We had several meetings both in person and virtually which was very convenient. I had some picky eaters at my wedding and there were no complaints! -

I can not say enough good things about Michelle and her team. When we first started contacting caterers, we were frustrated by the lack of communication we were getting, but from the beginning, Ludgers was so prompt and detailed in every reply. Michelle was one of the kindest, most friendly vendors that we worked with, and we had a blast planning our wedding with her. We went to do our tasting and were amazed by how great the food was. Our guests are still telling us how good the food was almost a month later. Most importantly, my husband and I got to actually sit down and eat (which we were warned we wouldn't have time to) because they made us a plate the minute we walked in the door, and even packaged up leftovers for our getaway car! 10/10, I will absolute use Ludgers again if I ever find myself hosting another event. -

From day one, Ludgers stood out to my husband and I purely on their customer service and responsiveness. We were originally between two vendors and before even tasting their food, we knew that we wanted Ludgers purely by their communication and knowledge over the wedding industry in general. Michelle Ramzel was the event specialist assigned to us and honestly I couldn't have picked a more perfect person to work with. Her knowledge on rentals and her attention to detail was a god-send during this stressful time of planning a wedding. Like I'm pretty sure she has angel wings. 10/10 would recommend working with her in the future!
Now on to the food. Ludgers hosts free tasting events through out the year that you could attend in order to try a good portion of their menu and if you didn't get to try something in one of those tastings that your interested in, they also offer to host a private tasting in order to try some of the other items. These tastings made it super easy for my husband and I to narrow down our menu and select our favorite items. When we decided to attend a private tasting we noticed that the steaks were cooked more medium/medium-well and we were looking for a more medium-rare cook to our steaks. Michelle took note of what we wanted and we were pleasantly surprised that our steaks were cooked perfectly on the wedding day! Additionally, the mashed potatoes are to die for and the chorizo mini sliders are so freakin good!
Day of the wedding. Michelle showed up at the time that the venue opened to start setting up table cloths as early as possible. This allowed my mom to set up center pieces pretty early so that she could take her time getting ready. I'm telling you, Michelle is an angel. I was a little busy so I didn't get to talk to very many servers or cooks but my goodness, they were on top of everything! The bar tenders were so sweet to all of my friends and family and during dinner, no one even had the opportunity to think about food or drink because they were constantly being taken care of. This team was so professional and kind. My husband and I were unable to attend our cocktail hour because of photos but the staff went out of their way to ensure that we had a small plate of our passed appetizers to try with our meal once we got to our table! Then at the end of the night the staff packed up two meals for my husband and I to have once we got back to our hotel! Plates, napkins, water, wine, silverware... all included in our goody bag.
Its quite possible for me to go on forever about how amazing this company is but I'll stop now. My hope is that my review helps a future bride make the decision on who they should use for catering. You definitely can't go wrong with choosing Ludgers. -

All my wedding guests are raving about the food Ludger's served at our wedding. It was delicious and the entire crew was professional & friendly. Lindsay was a delight to work with for my daughter's wedding reception. She was professional and always pleasant. I was able to trust her experience and advice to make the reception run smoothly even from out of town. Ramiro was fantastic on the day of the wedding. Everything looked beautiful and tasted delicious. He served and cleaned up. The whole experience was wonderful. I highly recommend Ludgers for your next event. -
Rachel Sent on 10/02/2018We enjoyed working with Ludger’s starting with our cake tasting appointment. There were some concerns brought up by Ludger’s with our order so they suggested an alternative that worked out even better. Our wedding was in Norman but there were no issues transporting it from Tulsa and it turned out amazing. We look forward to enjoying it again on our one year anniversary!

The staff was professional and in addition to our reception meals they even packed up a plate of goodies from our candy buffet, which I was happy about since we were so busy I didn't get any. -

The tasting was professional and they gave us exactly what we needed when we needed it. When we needed to get China at the last minute because ours fell through they were able to make it happen for us. We would definitely recommend them to others. -

My husband and I got married in Jenks, OK, but we were from out of state. We found Ludger’s Catering when looking for dinner options for our 25 guests. Ludger’s catered to our beautiful airbnb and the food, service, and timeliness was PERFECT. We had stuffed mushrooms and bruschetta for appetizers; prime rib and tortellini for entrees; garlic mashed potatoes/asparagus/and a fresh salad for sides. Would recommend for anyone! -

User2309777 Sent on 07/02/2016They were always responsive when we called. The problem i had was i ordered stuffed chicken florentine but got regular chicken with am orange sauce. The chicken was so dry I couldn't eat it. And then the bartender left early so we had to serve ourselves our own alcohol.Ludger's Catering & Events's reply:
I am SO sorry that you were not 100% happy with the food at your wedding! I believe that several factors were involved that created a misunderstanding on what the chicken would be. We were contacted and menu was planned with your wedding coordinator. She asked if we could do a Chicken Florentine and we informed her that we would be happy to do that. She never mentioned a “stuffed” chicken. On the invoice/menu, we only had the words “Chicken Florentine” and you were billed accordingly (as a stuffed chicken is more expensive). With weddings, we always recommend a tasting prior to the wedding, especially when our clients have requested something that is not on our regular menu. I believe that your coordinator incorrectly told you that we would not do a tasting, and that is just not true. I, again, apologize sincerely, if you all were not pleased with the chicken. As soon as we became aware that you all were not happy with it, our Executive Chef, Scott, tried to call the mother of the bride multiple times to discuss and see what, if anything, we can do to make it up to you all. Customer service and your happiness are our top priority! Because we are not able to get in touch with you all via phone, I will tell you that we have written off the remaining balance of the invoice so that we are covering the cost of the appetizers that were added on a few days before the wedding. We encourage you all to contact us to discuss further and allow us to apologize in person or via phone.
In regards to the bar, I am unsure and was surprised to see this comment. The bar was not shut down until we were asked to give a last call, which we did, prior to closing and cleaning up the bar. If the guests and/or family served themselves after we closed down the bar, I am unaware of that. Again, we were asked by the coordinator to do a last call, so that may be something to discuss with her.
