Banquet events were so wonderful!

Lucille's Catering has catered three events for us and have been wonderful each time. Their food is remarkable! Many of our attendees asked if the caterer would be the same as our last event because they were looking forward to their scrumptious food! Thank you for helping us make our events memorable!

Lucille's Catering- The Best!

The only way to say this is Lucille's Catering food was so DELICIOUS!. I searched for a caterer for weeks for our company Thanksgiving meal and they came through for us. I received so many comments from our employees on how good the food tasted that we used them for our North Austin office meal. True home style food which was a huge difference from other caterers we used that is usually bland. We plan on having them cater other company events in the future. The scheduling, set-up, catering and pricing was perfect. I did not have to worry about anything once they were scheduled and arrived onsite. Mertis took care of everything and ensured we had the best experience. I can't say enough good things about Lucille's Catering. You won't regret using them.

Excellent experience!

Working with Lucille's Catering was so easy and wonderful. They took care of everything and thought of everything. The food was incredible, too!! We were given very good options on the food and ended up being able to serve our guests both options. So very good!! We highly recommend them!

Absolute Godsend

I highly recommend this sweet couple for any event you may have. They were truly a Godsend blessing for our daughter’s wedding. Since it was during the Damnpemic, a caterer was a difficult service to acquire. They were extremely professional, stayed within my budget and the FOOD was EXCEPTIONAL! My guests loved everything they served, and I could not have been more pleased with them. An absolute MUST TRY is the watermelon mimosa… it is out of this world! I rate them 5 out of 5 stars

Amazing service, amazing food

We had the pleasure of working with Lucille’s catering four times during our wedding planning! They did the dessert table for my bridal shower, the brunch for my bachelorette party, the food for our April intimate wedding and the dessert table for our wedding in July. When I tell you Lucille’s catering food was amazing that’s an understatement! When we had to readjust the way we severed our dessert/ candy bar for our July ceremony due to Covid, Mertis delivered! I would definitely recommend working with Lucille’s Catering for whatever type of catering you might need! The service was amazing and so was the food! Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your help throughout our wedding planning! ☺️

Lucille’s Catering can’t be beat! Delicious home cooking style that’s professional and beautiful.

Every time we have the pleasure of eating a meal catered by Lucille’s Catering, we know we’re in for a treat. Our diet goes out the window, and the plate gets filled to the brim. Everything Mertis and Ricky create is delicious, fresh, and has an amazing depth of flavor. Mertis Sells creates incredible menus of appetizers, dips, entrees, and desserts that are cohesive and literally please everyone of all ages and walks of life. She puts love and soul into her recipes. She’s a joy to work with! She’s creative, gentle, kind, and an amazing listener. I would HIGHLY recommend them for weddings, catered lunches and dinners, holiday parties, receptions, etc. Literally any event or meeting would become memorable and special with Lucille’s Catering involved.

Outstanding!

This was not for a wedding, but a corporate event, however, I would enthusiastically recommend Lucille's for any type of gathering or event. The food was delicious, they had truly gluten-free options for our Celiac folks, and they are just the friendliest and most professional caterers we've used!

Our experience with Lucille's Catering during a birthday celebration

Our experience was excellent in every way, during the celebration of a relative's birthday. The event was a brunch with some unique servings of Sweet potato grits, fresh fruit, waffles with strawberry toppings, sausage, turkey bacon, and a hash brown casserole. Not only was the food delicious, the presentation of the meal was very inviting.

Couldn't Have Asked For Better

Loved the service Lucille's catering provided for our wedding. Mrs. Sells helped us come up with a menu that was a smash for an early daytime wedding with brunch foods. She suggested some set up ideas and a few extras that went over really well. Soooo many people told us how delicious the food was and how much they loved the menu. I even asked for the recipe for one of the appetizers because it was so good. They handled all the set up and clean up and even helped us out with delivery and pick up of the table rentals. I was completely satisfied with their service and would use them again for any event.

A Surprise Every Time! I Will Use Lucille Catering in the Future.

I’ve used Lucille’s catering on couple occasions; birthday party and graduation. I still get complements from friends who attended, the food, drinks, setting, everything was on point. Lucille assisted in the planning, she made sure everything was perfect for the event. I’ve attended several parties/events where Lucille catered. From the main coarse, vegetables, desserts, appetizers and drink selections have been flavorfull, scrumptous and very delightful. I plan to use Lucille in future events. I highly recommend their services.

Great food and lovely service!

We loved the food and there was SO much! They were a great group and worked super hard. There was an issue with traffic the night of the event, which made the set up late..however..they made up for this with a fast set up and great great food and kind service!

From the onset, the service and food provided by Lucille's Catering was superb! The chef pours her love, heart, and soul into every bite.

I have NEVER been disappointed when hiring Lucille's Catering. I have used this company for several types of events: birthday parties, company Christmas luncheon, Repast gathering, Prayer Circle Brunch, and just because. There is ALWAYS a little something special thrown into the menu to let me know how much they appreciate my business. You can't beat that!

Truly one of the best meals I've had in Austin. Mertis and her team were polite and responsive. I've ordered a Thanksgiving meal from Lucille's two years in a row for undergraduate students at UT-Austin, and the students along with the staff truly enjoy the experience.

Ricky and Mertis made our wedding cake. It was the thing we got the most comments, and compliments, on. Some of our friends came by, the next day, to ask if there was any cake left. I have been in real estate since 1986. I wouldn't use any other caterer.

Lucille's worked with our budget and created a sumptuous, winter-picnic menu of comfort food that suited a variety of dietary preferences in our group, including vegan. They coordinated their table décor with ours. They were on-time, the epitome of professional, and fun to work with. They thought of everything and made our event one to remember. Lucille's has been providing their catering service for our events with the local police department for the last couple of years. Our events are held twice a year for 14 weeks, and Lucille's caters two nights a week for those 14 weeks. They have been a pleasure to interact with. They are very professional, very punctual and communicative, their food and treats are amazingly delicious, and we've received nothing but rave reviews from our attendees. We have much respect for Mertis and Ricky's creativity and always willing to work with our budget. We will gladly welcome the opportunity to continue to use Lucille's Catering.

My company and I love Lucille's Catering!

Mertis always works with me on creating a great menu for my company events. She even did a special Thanksgiving lunch for us. They are friendly, timely, professional and most of all they know how to cook! The food is delicious. I highly recommend reaching out to them for catering needs. They are really great with vegetarian dishes, as one of their daughters is vegetarian.

Lucille’s Cateting prepared the refreshments for our wedfing reception. Every food item was savory and the presentation of each item was elegant. Our guests enjoyed the food and their service. These passionate, personable, professional caterers even created a refreshing lilac-color punch for us because lilac was one of our wedding colors. We still feel honored because they were a part of our wedding day.

Lucille’s Catering graciously provided, appetizers and desserts for the open house of the nonprofit I work for. Ricky and Mertis went above and beyond what I expected, even as much as recruiting another company to provide professional servers to serve our guests. The food was arranged beautifully and our guests kept commenting on how scrumptious it tasted. It was such a pleasure to work with such amazing professionals who dedicate their time and talents to helping our event be a success!

Can I have seconds?!

The price was very competitive compared to other caterers after shopping around. Having never planned a big event and doing a wedding without nothing more than a "Day of Coordinator," Mertis and Ricky offered a lot suggestions and was very accommodating to ensure things went well for our reception dinner. .She is very responsive and extremely flexible. We increased our guest number last minute from 150 to 200. The food is excellent!! Everyone was well fed, enjoyed the food and wanted more. I would use Lucille's again and again and recommend it to all my family and friends.
