During the 2020 wedding season of Covid-19, definitely put a damper on all wedding plans. However, Lovers Lane United Methodist Church did not disappoint. Kristen Larkin & Pam Miller, from LLUMC, did everything above and beyond to ensure our special day went off without a hitch. Kristen gave me a sense of calm, which only a very experienced wedding coordinator can provide, was so appreciated. The bridal & groom suites were perfect for getting ready. There were so many beautiful locations for photographs. Wesley Chapel, with the gorgeous stained glass, was ideal for us. We were blessed to be able to wed at this special and beautiful location. -

We had our wedding there in April and I must say Pam and Kirsten have been the best of coordinators that I have ever met. They will be there for you for every second that we need. God bless their hearts for all the love and effort they make. -

Working with Kristen and her team was an absolute joy! From the very first day that I met with her, I knew that I had found not just the right location, but the right team to help facilitate my daughter’s wedding. She is a wealth of knowledge, a wonderful sounding board, open and receptive. No matter how stressed I found myself, she was always steady and calm. Her kindness and willingness to help you achieve your vision knows no bounds, and her enthusiasm is contagious. Likewise, her fantastic team is accessible, responsive, and tireless in their efforts—I couldn’t have asked for a better support system, especially in the last few days before our event. The venue itself offers a great variety of options for size and atmosphere; our selection of the church’s Copeland House was the perfect combination of functionality and charm. It was intimate yet felt spacious, with its vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a gorgeous wooded greenbelt and multi-tiered deck. The views were amazing! Facilities staff provided everything we asked for and more; parking was nearby and ample; and all of our vendors found the staff and venue to be both welcoming and accommodating. In recent days, we have received numerous compliments from our guests, family and friends. Without question we would whole-heartedly recommend LLUMC and their events staff! -

Top Notch Service!
Our small family wedding and reception held in Lovers Lane UMC's Copeland House and garden were flawlessly managed by Kristen Larkin, Pam Miller and the caring, professional staff and clergy at Lovers Lane UMC. The setting was beautiful, indoors with fall foliage views from the Annex window behind us during the ceremony, and outdoors afterwards where guests visited on the outdoor decks overlooking the creek prior to the indoor catered meal. We highly recommend this team and venue! -

I cannot recommend highly enough this incredible venue and team who work so hard to make your wedding day stress-free and joy-filled! Kristen and Pam and the team at Lovers Lane are professional, kind, and do whatever it takes to get the job done. Whether you want to have a simple, classic wedding, or you're thinking way outside the box (like we did), they've got you covered. You're not going to find a better experience with venue coordinators in DFW. -

The fall foliage views over looking the deck and creek were magnificent. Kristen Larkin and her team helped us plan every detail of our ceremony to perfection! She provided quality resources and Kristen’s unflappable gracious manner made her a joy to work with. The venue was so lovely and the facilities team flipped rooms and kept things moving right on schedule. Rev Stan Copeland officiated with a beautiful message and ceremony. Lovers Lane UMC made our wedding a blessed and memorable experience! Thank you Kristen, Rusty, Pam, Margo and Juan!

Anna Sent on 12/12/2017No words can describe how lovely it was to have our wedding at LLUMC! Kristen is an amazing planner. She is very quick to respond (both by email and phone) and she really went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding was beautiful. We also loved pastor Scott. He is so graceful and wise. He did our premarital counseling, also and prayed with us just before the ceremony. The organist/pianist is incredibly talented. Ours was the most special day because we had the most special people involved in our wedding.

Karen Sent on 10/22/2017My fiance’ and I were recently united in marriage at Lovers Lane United Methodist Church (LLUMC). If you are looking for a beautiful one-stop shop environment for all of your wedding activities, LLUMC is definitely the place you should consider. As the bride, the last thing I wanted was to have to find a place to rent for our wedding ceremony and another for our reception. We were not only able to have our ceremony and reception at LLUMC, but we also took advantage of the premarital counseling, used the gorgeously landscaped campus to take our engagement photos, and held our rehearsal dinner there. Kristen, the LLUMC wedding coordinator is an absolute delight and specializes in reducing your wedding stress. We thank God for Kristen, Pam, Pastor Kennon, Richard and all the other staff at LLUMC who made our wedding experience so memorable.
