We cannot recommend Emilie and her team enough! From the very beginning, she was incredibly professional, organized, responsive, and genuinely wonderful to work with. Before the wedding, she answered all of my emails so quickly, helped us curate the perfect shot list, and gave us so many helpful recommendations on photo locations, timing, and how to make the day flow smoothly.
On the wedding day itself, she was absolutely amazing. She made us feel so comfortable, kept everything stress-free, and truly helped make the day feel special. She captured every moment so beautifully, and we are completely obsessed with both our photos and videos. Our highlight video especially exceeded all expectations — we have watched it so many times already!
We have received endless compliments on our wedding photos and video, and we are so grateful we chose Emilie. We would recommend her team to absolutely anyone looking for a talented, kind, and professional wedding photographer/videographer!

We were incredibly lucky to have found Emilie and her team. As a normally anxious person who does not like to have their picture taken, I can not stress enough how comfortable we felt during our engagement photos and on our wedding day. Both Emilie and Annalee are just incredibly kind and wonderful people.
After getting out engagement photos back we could not have been happier. Some of the best photos were the ones we did not even know we wanted.
The quality of their work speaks for itself, but I was extremely impressed by how on point they were. I have been to weddings where shots have taken twice as long for photos that look nowhere as good. Even when fog cause us to lose our beautiful view, Emilie found ways to work around it and our pictures came out beautifully.
We loved working with them and would highly recommend them to anyone. -

I cannot speak highly enough of Emilie & her team! Choosing to work with them was hands down the best wedding decision that we made. We used Lovely Valentine for photo & video on our wedding day and Emilie also shot our engagement photos. Communication from start to end, along with the booking process was seamless. Emilie put together a whole photo timeline for the day of, which our coordinator used to put together our full day of timeline The day of was just amazing! They were on top of everything but all so calm. We got every single shot we wanted, plus SO much more. They were non-stop capturing everything - it was amazing! But the creativity they put into getting each shot made all the photos so much better than I could have ever imagined. Emilie sent us teasers a few days after the wedding, which was so fun to look at on our honeymoon and then the full gallery just a few weeks later and we have not stopped obsessing over them since! I cannot recommend Lovely Valentine enough and I am so grateful we have so many amazing photos that we will cherish forever! BOOK THEM!!! -

The BEST experience!
I’ve been a bridesmaid for many weddings, so when it was finally my special day. I knew I wanted to book with LovelyValentine... from ease of booking, to working with Emilie and her team all day! (9am-9pm) and from getting the photo gallery back in such speedy time (5 weeks)! And what perfect timing to have the professional photos right before thanksgiving to view with my family together. My now husband, Matt and I had an absolute blast working with them. We were laughing and enjoying ourselves the entire time. They went non stop capturing the moment of the entire day. I've already shared photos with my family and friends and they've been raving about how gorgeous everything was! The entire team was so pleasant to work with. Always a smile on their faces. I highly recommend! You won't be disappointed. -

We had the pleasure of working with Emilie and Derek on our wedding day! Emilie is so popular so be sure to book her as soon as you can! That should already tell you that she's an amazing photographer~ Our wedding was a long day (8:00AM to 11:0PM). We had a mix of Chinese traditional festivities (Chinese tea ceremony) with an American ceremony and reception. Emilie was on time and ready to take pictures! She was already well versed in the Chinese traditional festivities such as Chinese door games and tea ceremony. This helps a lot - she knew exactly where to stand to take the right pictures. Emilie had helped us pick out picture locations that fit the vibe that we want! On our wedding day, one of the picture locations had a film crew which makes picture taking very difficult to do. Emilie immediately spotted another picture perfect location that we could walk to. That was the perfect last minute decision! We got A LOT of teaser pictures back! Love that every pictures captures movement and genuine emotions. She brought colors to life! She made our wedding day look like a fairytale! When going from one picture to the next, her pictures consistently maintain high quality! We are beyond pleased working with her! Thank you so, so much Emilie! You are truly amazing~ -

The pictures turned out absolutely amazing! Worth every penny. I LOVED them. Emilie was professional, knowledgeable, and very talented. She has a great eye. AND we had so many nice photos of our guests. I was able to include really special printed shots of almost all our guests with their thank you notes and they were really touched. I was VERY happy with my photos! -

Lovely Valentine is simply amazing! Beyond the flawless pictures that speak for themselves, Emilie's passion for her work is what sets her apart from the rest. In the early stages of the hunt for a photographer, naturally I spoke with many different companies. Upon meeting Emilie the moment we stepped out of her office my now husband and I looked at each other, smiled, and knew this was the special team to capture our day. Lovely Valentine is extremely responsive with email and any questions I have had over the past two years from before we booked till now, a month after our wedding. Emilie helped me with everything from choosing a location for our engagement photos to helping me create a timeline outlining the details of out wedding day. She goes above and beyond as a photographer. Our wedding guest can not stop talking about how much fun they had with our two photographers that day, they both blended in so well it just seemed like friends hanging out. From the moment we met Emilie we knew she would not only capture the big and small moments of our wedding day, but also offer calm direction for us, our families and wedding party. My husband and I are absolutely awe struck by the photos Emilie sent us as a preview. We are waiting with great anticipation for the full album. Additionally, we hired Emilie to set up stationary video cameras to capture our ceremony, first dance and toasts. My mother-in-law also hired her to shoot our rehearsal dinner.
Emilie is gifted at capturing the emotion of the day and her timing is impeccable. We find ourselves noticing the expression and emotions of our loved ones in the background of the main shot, which adds a deeper dimension to all of our photos.
We are so thankful to Emilie for these photos we will cherish forever and cannot recommend her talent enough to other couples.

Best Destination Photographers!
Emilie and Jovan went above and beyond for our destination wedding! It was great to have one team to handle both photography and videography. Everything went so smoothly on our wedding day! Even for destination wedding, they took the time to scope out the area prior to the wedding day. We loved all the photos and have gotten so many wonderful compliments from our friends and family. We especially loved the pictures by the beach! The wedding video also turned out beautifully.
Emilie was also very responsive to emails and very easy to work with throughout the whole process. We highly recommend Lovely Valentine! -

Strongly recommend Emilie & Jovan! They captured amazing photos of our wedding day (April 14, 2018) even braving the cold and climbing rocks with us in Gloucester (per my request)! I loved that they were a male/female duo, so that the boys would would feel comfortable in front of the camera too. Emilie was great during the planning process with communicating and adjusting the timeline as needed. We got our photos back in record time and everyone raved about them! -

Emilie and Jovan are so talented and are perfectionists which is what you want on your wedding day, yet they listened to our ideas and helped us execute them perfectly. My husband and I thought that posing for photos would feel awkward but working with Emilie and Jovan was so effortless, just like working with old friends. Emilie, Jovan and the studio pup Huxley welcomed us into their cozy studio, gave us a tour for our initial meeting and calmed all our nerves. They were our first and last photographer meeting. We knew they were the photographer and videographer for us because you could tell they knew what they were doing, cared about the process and made us feel completely at ease.
LV had to be one of the easiest decisions that we made during our whole wedding planning process. They were great at communicating, organized and their portfolio was an amazing mix of classic elegance, yet modern vibes. Emilie helped us create a wedding day timeline for our photos with the schedule that we were working with. On the day of the wedding, Emilie and Jovan were punctual and got straight to work lightening the mood as, surprisingly, we weren’t all natural models. We even got a bunch of aerial shots in the video which were a super fun surprise. Finally, when the time came for us to choose music for our video, Emilie provided me with a playlist as I was completely overwhelmed with the music choices.
Every step was facilitated by their professionalism and responsiveness and I know that our wedding would not have been the same without them. The day flew by in a blur, but they captured all the greatest memories that we could cherish forever. I now have one of those tear jerker wedding videos that I was always so envious of!
We would choose them again in a heartbeat, and will for any of our future photo worthy events.

They called me after I emailed to inquire, and that phone call made us even more excited about our special day— Jovan helped me picture my day and listened to every detail I envisioned. We loved our engagement photos and the photo session totally helped me and my husband get comfortable in front of the camera. It takes talented photographers to capture photos that clients can instantly get teary-eyed just by looking at them, and that is the kind of moments Lovely Valentine captured.

I am so happy we chose them and love looking through our photos. They are so easy to work with and are also extremely nice people. Both our engagement and wedding photos turned out spectacular!
