Nancy is creative, dependable, and puts her heart and soul into her work. I am a wedding coordinator and experienced a nightmare situation where the florist didn't show up to a wedding because she had the date wrong. I reached out to Nancy, and no questions asked- she immediately drove almost an hour down to the venue, made an emergency bridal bouquet and boutonniere, and came with two buckets full of flowers to help save the day! She dropped everything to go above and beyond for a bride that she had never even met. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Additionally, Nancy leads a florist support group where she teaches others techniques for designing bouquets, garlands, arch installations, etc. that I have attended several times and have learned something new each time. She is a leader in the San Diego/Temecula floral industry! Her skill set is incredibly high and any couple would be lucky to work with her. Her work is beautiful and she's a wonderful person overall. -

Incredible Florist Extraordinaire!
I got married in April 2024 and my color inspiration was Aperol Spritz’ so I wanted shades of oranges with pops of different colors to tie into our garden venue. I looked into and had consult calls with several florists and from our first call Nancy was the clear pick. She’s passionate about bringing her client’s vision to life while also being mindful and transparent about budget. Nancy and her team are also incredibly organized and responsive throughout the whole process. When I arrived to my venue I was so in awe with how beautifully Nancy and her team brought my vision to life. They also looked stunning in all of our photos. To my surprise since I’ve heard that guests don’t care or remember florals, many of our guests raved about how beautiful our florals were and the whole week after I received photos of how they were repurposing centerpieces they took home. If you’re looking for a wedding florist, look no further, Nancy and her team, are your people! -

I had the pleasure of working with Nancy Lobo Designs as the florist for our wedding, and I cannot express how happy we were with the stunning floral arrangements Nancy and her team created for our special day.
From the initial consultation to the final reveal on our wedding day, Nancy demonstrated a high level of expertise and dedication. She listened attentively to our vision, understood our color palette and style preferences, and translated them into floral masterpieces. The bridal bouquet was a true work of art that complemented my dress. We received countless compliments on the beautiful arrangements throughout the day.

My mom had more opinions about flower choices than I did, but I had a vision of what I wanted in terms of colors and the ceremony arch, etc and Nancy did an incredible job not only working with what we wanted in our budget range but she also did so with the warmth and care of someone who is passionate about how flowers can help make someone’s dream into a reality. She was incredible from start to finish and really delivered on our vision, while also taking into account the impact of wind and our venue. We loved working with her! -

She's the best!
I may have been the bride, but Nancy's work was the star of the show at our wedding. Everyone RAVED about the arrangements, and I've had multiple people tell me they were the most gorgeous flowers they've ever seen at a wedding. Not only was everything stunning, but she honestly went above and beyond with the arrangements, and essentially did all of the decorating. There was SO much detail, and she made sure there was color and texture everywhere! I had a vision and she completely brought it to life, and then some. She met with me to go over plans. She brought ideas and creativity. She was by far my favorite and most impressive vendor. She's funny, kind, insanely talented....brides, she's your girl. I promise. -

I put my mom in charge of flower's because she is super picky, and after researching a number of vendors in the area, we decided on going with Nancy. She was very communicative with my mom and I, made sure we were getting everything that we wanted, let us come over to visit and show exactly what we were envisioning, and found the geometric centerpieces that I really wanted to have on the dinning tables for us. She also brought hurricane glasses for candles, and helped to set up the tables. She stayed around to transfer the flowers from the arch that we used onto the sweetheart table and bar, and did a fantastic job on everything. My mom was so pleased with how everything turned out, and I loved how beautiful everything looked. -

Better late than never, our wedding was March of 2019.
Nancy is the sweetest and so patient to work with! After I had seen her Instagram page I knew that even though I didn’t know what exact look I was going for, there wasn’t a single arrangement that wasn't going to look perfect. When I spoke to her and sent her photos of my ideas I knew I was in good hands. After she quoted me, I needed to make some changes to stay within my budget. Nancy was so accommodating and I can’t express how reassured I felt working with her. Considering we tweaked things to stay in budget, Nancy delivered all my requests beyond expectations. To this day I follow her page and interact with her because she is such a great person. She loves her craft and it shows in all her work!

She worked with me to keep stay within my budget by helping me repurpose my bouquet and provided beautiful votive candles for my event. She worked with me to help create the wedding of my dreams (while still staying within a reasonable budget)! -

Nancy lobo is amazing!
Nancy was amazing and is a wonderful florist! I got married at the San Diego Botanic Garden in Encinitas. We brought in an outside arch (so glad we did) that Nancy designed with flowers. She also used her magic and skills to add floral designs to the back of our last row of ceremony chairs, our center pieces, vases, and misc. She allowed me to send her pictures of my vision and she absolutely did not disappoint. She is professional, responsive, understanding, and provides her honest opinion and feedback to ensure you have the most beautiful event! I teared up walking through the ceremony before it stared when nobody was there as it was so peaceful and perfectly designed by Nancy. I can’t thank you enough, Nancy. You made my vision come to life and looking back at the video and photos makes me so thankul for your beautiful work. THANK YOU! Don’t miss out...stop looking and hire Nancy now! Nancy was referred to me by friend and she was everything my friend said she would be. Nancy is seriously the best florist I know. She is so talented and has such an eye for detail. I loved all my flower arrangements for my wedding and literally cried when I saw my bouquet with a piece of my mothers wedding dress around it. I was so happy with everything she did for me and having Nancy do my flowers for my wedding was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. She matched my vision perfectly and is so sweet. I cannot say enough great things about Nancy and her work. What a gem she is and truly an artist. -

The best Florist in SD!!
Nancy was truly a blessing to work with. She was very attentive and helpful the entire way. One of the most impressive things about her was her overall style and communication when making my dream flower inspirations come true. I didn't know exactly what i wanted but boy did she get it right. My flowers were amazing and the guests could not stop talking about them. We literally had to fight over who was taking the centerpieces home.
Nancy arrived to my venue on time and was so kind. She literally helped relax my nerves about everything. The cake, boutonnieres, bouquets, and arch were all done by her. I even had lights that were not normal but she adapted well and it came out gorgeous. It was all a show stopper. I recommend anyone planning a wedding to look at her instagram and see her gorgeous arrangements. It will be hard not to choose her. -

Beautiful Arrangements
I was introduced to Nancy through our wedding planner. We didn’t live in San Diego, so everything was done over email. Nancy was very easy to work with and very responsive. I didn’t have strong opinions on the type of flowers or even necessarily the colors (I know that sounds crazy for a wedding). I sent Nancy a photo of some wedding flowers that I liked and that’s all the direction she needed. She sent over a pdf of flower ideas for various parts of the wedding and after a couple back and forth emails, we had the concept set. Day of the wedding, I was blown away at quality of the arrangements. They were beautiful. I had numerous comments from guests about how expensive the arrangement looked. Nancy’s prices were very reasonable so I took this as a complement! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nancy again! -

She completely understood my vision, so we decided to give her a lot of creative freedom, and wow she did a great job! We ended up adding a few extra things along the way (sorry Nancy for a million emails), but she delivered and did an amazzzzing job! The centerpieces, the bouquets, the little extra flowers she placed everywhere (cake, decorations, etc) were all beautiful! Thanks Nancy!!!!

Jessica Sent on 11/05/2015There are not enough good things I can say about Nancy and Lovely Stems. She came highly recommended by my wedding planner and lived up to the hype. From the first meeting, she was so warm and approachable. She had even taken the time to discuss with my planner the look, feel, color, and budget I was going for and came to the initial meeting with a beautiful mock up to help us visualize! She was sensitive to my financial constraints, which were tight. I had no idea what specific flowers I wanted, but Nancy had wonderful suggestions to help me through the process. At the end of the meeting, she sent me home with the gorgeous arrangement!
My color palette was targeting variations of corals and peaches, which proved to be a bit of a challenge (especially for a very particular bride). Nancy was so patient with me I tried make sure the flowers were not too red or too hot pink or too orange. She listened intently as we evaluated the right type of greenery to accent. Not only did she listen, she cared. When the big day arrived, the flowers were perfect! She was there early to set up and deliver the bouquets and boutonnieres so I never had to be stressed about not having everything in time for photos. Thank you Nancy for being such an amazing artist and partner through this process! I highly recommend. -

Nancy is a true artist and professional. I gave her a color palette and pinterest board and trusted her with the rest. She is on the pricier side but she is totally worth it, especially if you’ve got an eye for design. I didn’t get to see her the day of the wedding, but I’m so grateful! Thank you, Nancy! -
