10/10 DJ and Percussionists!

Love Plus One was a pleasure to work with from the initial call through the wedding itself. Their online planning tool makes timeline and song selections super easy, and they really are there for you as an extra day of coordinator making sure everything goes to plan. We got the extra percussion supplement, which was so fun for our wedding. DJ Rob was super kind, professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with leading up to the wedding and on the day of too. I couldn't recommend them more!

Great experience!

Vinnie was incredible to work with! We had a very specific playlists and he made sure to capture the "vibe" we were going for from start to finish and was super accommodating to all of our special requests. Great energy the entire night - highly recommend!

Amazing Experience with Love Plus One!

We absolutely loved the experience working with Love Plus One! Up front, Darren was so helpful and always responded right away to any questions we had. One of our favorite parts of the entire wedding planning process was putting together our online planner! The day of our wedding, Rob was amazing! He made everything go so smoothly from helping get everyone outside for our ceremony to keeping people out on the dance floor all night. We truly couldn't have been happier, and would highly recommend Love Plus One!

Look no further for your DJ! Love Plus One is AMAZING!

This is my fifth attempt to try and say how my Husband and I truly feel, but there are just no words to express how thankful and happy we are with Love Plus One. From the very beginning Darren set our mind and ease and we knew we had stumbled upon truly the best. He was professional and above all caring. You can tell he is in the wedding industry for all the right reasons.. Love, connection and how fun it can be. The planning of the big day was made so easy with their awesome online planner. You can request special songs, make a timeline and the organization of it all is every Brides dream. DJ Short Stop was our wedding DJ and he was AMAZING!!!! I never stressed the night of our wedding and got to dance the night away and enjoy every moment of it. The songs were perfect and had everyone up and laughing. Everything ran so smoothly because we had DJ Short Stop navigating our day, I can't say enough kind words about him. It meant the world to me when my Husband and I took a step back to just watch the wedding and we saw everyone enjoying our magical night. Thank you to Love Plus One entertainment for making our wedding everything I hoped it could be. You have made such a lasting impression on our lives and we are so thankful for you!

The whole package. Professional and absolutely magical!!!

Love Plus One was the PERFECT choice for our wedding. They are the entire package- professional, organized, and, of course, FUN!!! The DJ/emcee vendor was super important to us and we made the very best choice. Darren was responsive throughout the planning process and got us more and more pumped for the night with every email. The team was able to help us with a few surprise performances for our guests and we truly appreciated that. DJ Rob was our DJ and we couldn't have asked for a better person to execute our timeline and get our friends and family on the dance floor!!! He truly knows his stuff and we felt so lucky to have been able to work with him. You will NOT regret working with Love Plus One- they truly made our night magical.

Out of this world FUN!!

Dj Shortstop (Vinnie) was so much fun! We gave him a very specific plan for most of our songs, and he pulled it off to a T. It couldn't have been better. He was very helpful in timeline planning. There were even some things that happened during the wedding we didn't plan for that weren't music-related, but he was still on top of it. He should be in a Marvel movie because he is a superhero!!

Danced ALL night! The perfect DJ!

Choosing the right DJ for our wedding was extremely important to us, and we are SO glad we chose Love Plus One! DJ Rob B. was amazing! He created such a fun party atmosphere, all while being so professional and friendly. We have had so many guests tell us how great all the songs were all night, and we agree. Best decision!!

My husband and I met with a lot of DJ companies. Planning a wedding is really stressful and trying to find a DJ company (which is, in my opinion, one of the most important things) that is reliable and good at what they do, can be very overwhelming. When we met with Darren, he went over everything and was extremely helpful! We had continuous communication with him throughout the planning process. Our DJ was Alex, who was amazing as well! Our guests (and us) loved him! He kept to our timeline and our guests on the dance floor all night! I can not say enough good things about this company, they truly made things easy, stress free, and enjoyable!!

Darren was amazing from start to finish. He met me at the venue to go over design and lighting. He was able to answer all my ridiculous questions and handle all requests at ease. GoPro had a count down to the big day that kept me focused and alerted to their needs and things I hadn’t even thought of. Song suggestions were on point. I can’t even begin to tell you how happy my husband and I were with the service, communication and complete event.

We had an excellent time during our wedding and it sounds like all of our guests thought the same thing. Vinnie did a fantastic job on the day of the wedding. We hired GoPro DJs for our wedding reception. DJ Alex did an excellent job from start to finish. He was very professional and very flexible to all of our changes and last minute requests. He was very professional and extremely friendly the entire night. My only regret is not booking him for longer! Definitely would recommend him to others looking for wedding DJs. As a company, GoPro DJs was very responsive via email and phone and very professional.

Darren (manager I think) was in touch with us right from the beginning. The website for songs was straightforward enough - took me a second to get used to the format - and the actual day of deejaying was right on! I'd recommend these guys to anyone asking in the Detroit area.

Our DJ, Mike, was amazing! Throughout the whole process, Darren was in communication with us and helped us use our website to personalize things that we wanted/didn't want. The personal website makes things super easy. We then communicated with Mike a week or so before the wedding to finalize all the details. We went over the forms we filled out on our website to make sure the flow of the evening was correct and he verified all the song requests we had. I had 2 Father/Daughter dances so he explained to me how that would work. The day of the event, he verified the pronounciation of everyone's names in our wedding party. Our speeches and dances went off without a hitch. No delays or mistakes. Mike was AWESOME when it came to reading the vibe of our guests and playing all the right music!! From old to young, everyone was on the dance floor the whole time. My biggest fear was an empty dance floor and Go Pro DJs made sure to avoid that for me!
I would recommend Go Pro if you're looking for a fun DJ at a reasonable price. They're super quick at responding to emails and I never was left without an answer. Go with Go Pro and you won't be disappointed!!

Our wedding day and entertainment went GREAT! Phil did an amazing job and we were very happy with him. He was organized, fun, got the whole room dancing and made our evening go smoothly. Mike was amazing-- we can't say enough wonderful things about him. He was a wonderful Master of Ceremonies and made the night unforgettable. Between our selections and the pre-wedding conversation I had with him, he really delivered a set that was fun for everyone! (I don't think the dance floor was empty for a second.) So many of our guests wanted his contact information, and we made it a point to usher them to Go Pro DJs.

Darren was the best DJ we could have chosen for our big day! He was laid back and very reassuring that our ceremony would go off without a hitch and he was right. As the big day got closer my pastor made me nervous that I did not have someone to coordinate our wedding I contacted Darren immediately about my fears and plans for the ceremony. He carried every detail of our wedding as expected, he was not the in your face all about me DJ which was simply refreshing from being at previous weddings. He set up lights also at our venue at minimal extra charge and really helped bring our day to life. If I could do it all over again he would be on my list to choose time and time again. We can't thank you enough for the job you did on our wedding night. It was seriously above and beyond awesome. The music was perfect, and I can't tell you how many compliments we had from all of our guests. You guys really did an amazing job. I don't think I've ever had that much fun at a wedding, and the music couldn't have been more perfect. Even my 85 year old grandma was getting down on the dance floor. My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Go Pro DJs and our DJ Darren. Darren made sure to personally cover all of the details with us ahead of time so that he knew the wedding timeline, name pronunciations, our musical likes/dislikes, and everything else entertainment-related. Best of all, the dance floor was packed all night! Guests of all ages have been raving about the music ever since. Dave was awesome!!! Our guests were on the dance floor all night and one of our flower girls even started crying because she didn't want to leave lol he came and introduced himself while we were waiting to make our grand entrance, and even let me text him the day of the wedding when I wanted to change all our of grand entrance songs! He responded while I was in the limo heading to the church, letting me know that he would take care our of our last minute request, and our guests absolutely loved it! Also it turned out that he knew my parents lol hilarious. He was awesome though. Glad he was our DJ!!

My husband and I got married on July 16, 2016. When planning the wedding, I was hesitant to hire a DJ due to horror stories I had heard from other brides. As it turned out, hiring Go Pro DJs was one of the BEST decisions I made throughout the whole wedding. We had DJ Phil, who was completely professional, attentive and kind from start to finish. He arrived extremely early to set up at both the ceremony and reception cites. Each of our chosen songs was played at the correct times with no mistakes. Phil paid attention to the crowd and adjusted the dance music accordingly. He even went out of his way to bring my husband and I our wine during dinner! We received numerous compliments from family and friends saying that he was one of the best DJs they had ever seen at any wedding. Everything went perfectly and we have Phil and Go Pro DJs to thank for that. I would definitely recommend this company to any bride and groom who want their wedding to go smoothly!

GoPro DJs made our wedding a night to remember! The dance floor was constantly full of our friends and family. I never actually left the dance floor, except to get water because I was dancing so much. Daren Revell was our DJ and he was super helpful. He had excellent music selections and kept things professional and fun. We also had some last minute changes that he accommodated with no issues. Highly recommend them!

The online planner tool that was part of our package was such an amazing tool!

Daren was so awesome to work with. He is great at vibing the crowd out and changing music accordingly.

Dan, the percussionist, was such an amazing addition to the party! He allows guests to play along with him on the drums! We could not pull my 86 year old grandmother away from the drums.

Go Pro Dj was awesome! Darren was great! I was able to customize my playlist with the online planner, and they really worked with us to make sure there was a large variety of music for everyone to love. I want to start by saying that I am the type of person who always read the reviews on The Knot or WeddingWire with a grain of salt. The conspiracy theorist in me tended to assume that the bad reviews must have been censored and the ones that were posted are probably written by friends or family. How could anyone make everyone happy 100% of the time right??? Boy was I WRONG. These guys are really THAT GOOD!! Choosing to work with Urban Kris Productions for our DJ, Percussion and Photography was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Darren, our DJ, kept in touch with us leading all the way up to our wedding day. He played the perfect mix of music genres with a steady even flow, making sure to keep each generation of our guests involved and having fun. We've continually heard nothing but compliments from our guests on the music, and everyone loved Jared (the percussionist) and how he added that extra live element to the night. Adding Jared was icing on the cake! We had a blast, our guests had a blast, and I would definitely recommend Urban Kris Productions to anyone looking for exceptional wedding entertainment!

When considering the entertainment for our wedding, we immediately thought a band was the way we HAD to go. Taking a look at the pricing we thought we should at least consider a DJ to help curb the budget we were crushing. As we looked around, it seemed like a unique option was Urban Kris Productions/Go Pro DJs. We set up a meeting with Kris and were immediately blown away by their professionalism and unique twist to your basic wedding DJ. Between uplighting, percussion, and their online app to coordinate the entire day, we knew that using Urban Kris Productions was the new direction we were happily headed.

We appreciated the opportunity to sit down with our DJ a couple times prior to our wedding to go over details and make sure we were comfortable moving forward. Darren was incredible! He listened to our ideas, offered his suggestions, and assured us that our wedding would be a party to remember. He went above and beyond, orchestrating the music for our ceremony, creating a perfect atmosphere for our cocktail hour and dinner, and then an amazing reception atmosphere. Adding percussion was the best idea as well. It was an interactive element that our guests can't stop talking about! More than everything, our guests had a very memorable experience. When you have a DJ that perfectly sets the mood for your evening and reads the crowd to make sure they have the time of their lives, at the end of the evening, you end up with a wedding to remember! If you’re looking for a Professional Wedding DJ Service look no further. After meeting Darren from Go Pro DJ’s by Urban Kris we were blown away how educated and professional there staff is. After meeting a few other DJ companies that we’re just so blah we were so happy final find a DJ service that was right for us. We wanted a DJ for our wedding that would play all the standards but also play club music towards the end and every other company said that wasn’t there specialty and they actually referred us to Go Pro DJ’s because thats what they are known for.

Fast forward to the day of events - Darren kept everything on time, was a amazing emcee & host and played music that appealed to everyone with very little direction for us. The dance floor was packed from 9-12am and there was never a dull moment.

The best part about Go Pro DJs was we actually met and planed with our DJ (Darren) the entire way. All the other companies don’t allow you to meet your DJ? You only watch a video of them and speak to them on the phone the week before you wedding. I can’t imagine not have meeting Darren before our wedding.

Go Pro DJs made our wedding something special and one to remember. I will be telling all my friends about there DJ services.

The best decision we made was booking with Urban Kris Productions. They were perfect in meeting everyone of my "crazy bride" needs and it was a night to remember. Hiring Kris was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. We got married on New Years Eve, and knew that we needed to make sure we had the entertainment worthy of people spending their holiday with us. He was 110% amazing from start to finish, the dance floor was packed all night. He had the perfect blend of music that was appreciated by all age levels - which was something that was important to us. We were receiving compliments all night about how awesome our DJ was, and have received phone calls in the few weeks since our wedding from people asking for his name/number to book them for their upcoming nuptials. Kris also did our uplighting, and I was floored when I walked into our reception. He transformed the room with a beautiful color and really put the finishing touch on our decorations. The ultimate professional, he made everything incredibly organized and easy for us.

He offers the option to book a live percussionist with him. DO THIS. It was an awesome blend of recognizable music playing through the speakers, with the fun live element added in on the drums. It was a really unique way to add in a little additional flair to the wedding, we were so happy we ended up purchasing this add-on.

Thank you Kris for an amazing job at our daughter's wedding! EVERYONE danced all night long, we didn't want the party to end. It was so much fun. You played great songs from every genre and knew what the crowd was in to. The dance floor was constantly full all night. Kris just did our son's wedding and was fantastic. He played a great mix of music that kept everyone on the dance floor. If he saw that a song didn't keep people moving, he quickly moved on. He kept us fully informed of what to expect for the bridal dances and was always polite and professional. He is the only DJ to consider for whatever event you are having.

5 stars is not enough!! Kris did such an amazing job at our wedding. He was professional and polite and made sure we were happy with everything. We had a few meetings with him before the wedding and he went over EVERYTHING. He did not miss a single detail. The wedding day went by so smoothly and I thank him for a lot of that. He made sure the wedding party knew where to be for the grand entrance, he even had my Husband's jacket ready for the first dance and my boquet ready for the toss. Like I said, he didn't miss a single detail! He also did our lighting and it looked awesome! The whole room was lit up, not just portions of it. His set up looked great as well. He really knew how to keep people on the dance floor. Stela was our photographer and we were extremely happy with her too. They make an awesome team!! I couldn't have asked for a better DJ or photographer. Kris goes above and beyond to make sure that the bride and groom are happy!!

Urban Kris Productions, Kris Lawrenson is an amazing DJ that I would recommend to anyone and everyone! Kris is professional, sweet, charismatic, and most importantly knows how to read your crowd and cater to your taste in music. My husband was a huge house music fan which not a lot of DJ's do a great job with these days from some of those big DJ companies in the Ann Arbor/Detroit Metro area. We wanted someone that could be more interesting and get a little more for your money instead of someone that hit go on a play list of "wedding music"... we got exactly what we wanted! Our wedding guests young to old stated he was the best DJ they had ever heard! He got my dad some Rock and Roll, my mom some country, and us some dance/house music all mixed. No matter what your taste though he'll read you and your crowd and make it the perfect event music for your wedding, as not everyone likes the same thing. Kris's personality also makes him hands down the best choice. He will do anything to make your day perfect and keep you calm and on schedule through it all. When it poured down rain and we had to push back my ceremony Kris was there to keep me calm and let me know it's just perfect because who gets 2 ceremonies!

Pick this DJ! Also, Stela Zaharieva is his fiance and partner at Urban Kris Productions. You can get a discount if you book them together. And you aren't getting one and the other is just "ok" they are both amazing and my review for her was just as glowing as Kris's review! see their website at:

Kris was awesome. He cared a lot about every piece of our wedding and went above and beyond for us. Having Stella and him was the best decision we made! We had many special requests and Kris put in a lot of hours editing music for our entrances to ensure it was perfect! Just loved it! The lighting we used through him truly made the room look incredible ... It was worth every penny. Kris even went to our venue prior just to make sure the lighting count would be perfect. You will not be disappointed!!! Thanks again Kris !,

The photograph and dj package from Urban Kris Productions is excellent value for money, and as every bride knows thats what you want for your big day. Kris & Stela are very friendly, and most important very organized and professional. Not only do they guide you through all introductions and types of photographs to be taken they are also very open to your ideas and listens to what you want. Ive already recommended Them to lots of people.

Kris Lawrenson did a wonderful job as DJ at our Wedding Reception on
November 7. I realized that evening that I was unprepared to give Kris the
tip that he deserved.

We could not have been more pleased with your DJ service. We had a fantastic
evening and so many of my family and friends have commented on how much they
enjoyed the music. Kris did a great job reading the mood of the room and
improvising on the song list to keep the dance floor full. The sound during
the ceremony itself was excellent and Kris coordinated the tracks with the
parent and Bridal party entrances perfectly, with very minimal instruction
from us.

He was so amazing!! In our eyes the dj is the most important part of the reception and Kris met our standards. He really listened to our preferences in the interview and applied them to the reception, we were impressed by his choices for the dinner music. Kris really read the crowd and the dance floor was never empty (I wasn't the only one there who said that)! His instructions and patience while arranging our wedding party pre-introductions was flawless and the entire group loved him. My mother made the cake and while she was setting up Kris came over and offered to help in any way. She thought he was the manager of the venue. When he said he was the dj, she was very surprised, since normally the dj would never even talk to the other vendors at the wedding. He is incredibly talented and very comfortable in his career choice. He even got my grandmother dancing which surprised my entire family, she looked 20 years younger! I am forever thankful I made the choice to hire him, I feel with anyone else it never would have been the perfect night.

Sorry for the delay - we're just getting back from 2 weeks in Jamaica (and given the NYC rain today, can't say "it's great to be back"!) Thank you for all of your help as DJ and Photographer at our reception -- you kept things moving, played great songs, and best of all kept all the other vendors up to speed on what was happening. Stela did an amazing job on Photography everybody loves her work. We were both very impressed with your work and have heard nothing but great compliments from all of our friends and family. You guys work so well together!

FIVE STARS ISN'T ENOUGH!!!!!!!!! Our experience at our wedding reception was everything we hoped for! Everyone at our wedding had such a good time. I had my concerns at first about hiring a dj online but they were put to rest to with the quick and knowledgeable responses. From my first meeting with Kris, I honestly felt like I was the center of attention and that he really cared to provide me with more than I could've known to ask for. We had our sons wedding on 8/29/09 and Kris Lawrenson was the D.J. we had selected for this big day. Well, I cant say enough about how professional, helpful and absolutely wonderful he was!!!!! He arrived very early to set up and speak to us and make sure everything and everyone was on the same page. He immediately put my husband and I at ease, we knew he would do an excellent job. Kris actually exceeded our expectations and he was so attentive to us as the parents of the groom. My husband and I basically made and booked all the arrangements for the wedding. Kris continually approached us during the evening to make sure everything was going as planned.

It was actually my boss (Bruce Faber) who referred us to your company, thank goodness he did! He has hired you for all three of his daughters weddings, in fact the third daughters wedding is 9/12/09.

Again, the D.J. is such a huge part of the wedding reception and its so important that he or she is the right fit. Kris couldnt have done a better job than what he did for us on 8/29/09. We had many compliments after the wedding from many of our guests about what a great D.J. Kris was. I approached Kris at the end of the night in regards to giving me some of his cards to hand out to our sons friends who will be having weddings next year. Needless to say I have already given them Kriss cards and I have no doubt they will be calling shortly to book him! We appreciate the quality of the people you hire to represent your company.

The wedding was absolutely gorgeous and we truly felt like we had given Johnny and Ashley their dream come true wedding. Im sure when our other son decides to get married we will be booking Kris as well!!

Kris was great! Kept the party going all night long. Loved that they have a website where you can request songs to be played prior to the wedding. Music was the most important part for us. Loved that Kris provided some lighting and even brought along an amazing bongo player, Jared, to add a little something to the music that was different from most weddings we've been to. Overall, they helped make it a great night!

My husband and I were going back and forth about using a DJ over a live band during our wedding planning process. We are both so happy that we decided to use Go Pro DJs! Mike Rundel was our DJ and he was absolutely amazing!! He was so personable and fun to work with. He listened to what wanted and totally delivered! We also had the live percussionist (Dan) and he really added something different to the wedding. They were both so professional. We seriously cannot say enough nice things about both of them and how they contributed to our celebration. Neither of us would change a thing!

Great to work with Love Plus One!

It was great working with both Darren in coordinating and Vinnie (DJ Shortstop) day of! Darren was so helpful in helping us organize things and use the online entertainment planner that allows you to choose key songs for your day (such a great service). Day of, Vinnie was a fantastic MC - he brought so much energy to the night!

Darren and Kris were great at responding to all my emails throughout my planning process. Reasonably priced and they try to go above and beyond with extras/packaging. Our DJ had a freak accident the day before our wedding and we were notified at 9:30pm the night before. I was a little irritated that the email said they had tried calling me, my groom and our coordinator "multiple times" and "left messages," but funny how none of us have any missed calls or voicemails. Our back up DJ, Gaurav was the absolute worst. If you get him, RUN. My groom tried to get ahold of him multiple times to talk about our online planning tool with what kind of music we were looking for (the day of our wedding) and Gaurav clearly didn't take his job seriously because it took my groom multiple times contacting Darren and Kris (the owners) AND my coordinator to get involved for there to be any communication. Gaurav showed up to our venue, never formally introduced himself and complained about setting up his equipment outside (it had been raining, but cleared up in time for our ceremony). None of the music we wanted and requested on the online planner was played. Gaurav never listened to requests made by our guests or our family. Apparently he specializes in EDM and was playing that for dinner music. My groom had to immediately end that fiasco. My mother was upset and countless other guests came up throughout the night complaining about his performance and lack of listening to wanted songs by the crowd. Our dance floor was empty a lot and I do fully attribute that to Gaurav. The microphone and audio system used for speeches was horrific-noisy feedback. Our coordinator sat with Gaurav the whole night, like a babysitter. Looking back and writing this review actually saddens me because I know our wedding ccould've been better and that is something we will never get back because of him. Gaurav is supposed to no longer be on their roster, but I guess you never know.
