Kate Campbell is a truly gifted artist. She took every idea that I had and executed it in a way that was beyond my wildest dreams: every flower, every color, every arrangement was so thoughtfully done and I was overwhelmed by the final results. I took individual photos of each flower the morning after my wedding to preserve the memory, and every one was more gorgeous than the last. She took the time to walk through my beach venue and talk through my vision, and it was so easy to trust her talent and artistry in bringing it to life. The reveal of the florals was easily one of my favorite parts of a truly magical weekend. If you want the highest quality flowers and exquisite arrangements, you have found your florist.

Kate and her team were amazing. From the beginning, they helped me find my vision of a “garden party not in a garden” and made it happen. They went above and beyond to help me figure out just what I wanted. Their flower arch and center pieces were breathtaking. I wanted a unique color pallet and they nailed it. Our bouquets were stunning and held up despite the heat and travel they endured! -

Amazing Florist
Kate was so wonderful to work with. During our initial meeting, we talked about preferences and priorities - for example, I wanted to focus on more local and in-season blooms over most other things. My husband and I did not have a strict color scheme, so we talked with Kate about what we did and didn't want our Indian-Jewish fusion wedding to look/feel like. She asked about favorite flowers, if there was anything we absolutely didn't want, and so much more. Once the basics were in place, I gave her full creative control. We swapped plenty of inspo pictures along the way, but I had no idea what was going to show up the day of. I had zero stress about that, though, because I knew Kate was going to knock it out of the park - and she did. She made an incredible floral mandap/chuppah hybrid for the ceremony, gorgeous table settings, and a few special-request items that she pulled off flawlessly. I asked for floral haathphool for me and the women of the wedding party. Kate went above and beyond and made stunning (and adjustable) haathphool that I cannot say enough good things about. She also made floral garlands for the Hindu ceremony, flower crowns and posey baskets for the flower girls, and made me floral kaleera. Her design concept, setup, and final product were flawless. She was incredibly responsive throughout the entire planning process and so enthusiastic about the project. She was very communicative about budget, and I never felt pressured to add more flowers than I wanted - she is also great with repurposing flowers between ceremony and reception! She and her team set everything up, move/repurpose between ceremony and reception as necessary, and she has a designated breakdown crew for the end of the night. Working with her was an all-around wonderful experience, and I highly recommend her.

Guests were raving about the flowers!
Kate made our dreams come true with the most beautiful arrangement of flowers for our wedding! I already knew I loved her style, but the actual vision come to life was even better than I could have imagined. She had so many wonderful bright peonies mixed with fun, unique blossoms (that she knows the names of way better than me) and they were so artfully arranged - even with having to implement our rain plan arch last minute instead of the pergola! I had guests coming up to me constantly saying how incredibly gorgeous the flowers were and trying to snap shots of themselves near them. She was also very patient and kind in going over the initial proposal and put us at ease immediately with her knowledge and confidence. We would ABSOLUTELY hire Kate Campbell and her team again and again! Hoping for a vow renewal ceremony in the future, just to have an excuse to use her services again :) -

Brought my Wedding dreams to life!!
Even before getting engaged, I knew I wanted Kate to design my wedding florals. Her designs perfectly embodied the vision and feel that I wanted for my wedding day and to say that she knocked it out of the park would be an understatement. After our very first consultation, I knew we would be in good hands! Kate helped me fine-tune designs/styles of flowers I liked as well as figuring out how to repurpose ceremony florals to get the best bang for our buck, and it most certainly did!!! Again, going into the floral design process of a wedding I knew Kate would kill it, but seeing it in person and looking at all the photos really just blew me away. I cannot wait to use Kate's services for any future events that we might have!! -

Over and beyond wedding florist experience
From the start of the planing process with Kate, she made everything simple and stress free. After a few photos and a phone call she truly made our vision come to life. I appreciated her expertise and recommendations that allowed us to stay within budget despite having a large bridal party. On the day of our wedding, Kate and her team navigated setting everything up in an extremely tight window, due to venue restrictions, without any hesitation or sense of worry. The hand welded chuppah was perfect and everything turned out beautifully! My only regret is not previously setting up a resin vendor so I could have saved my beautiful bouquet for forever! -

I first found out about Kate when she made a beautiful bouquet for my sister-in-law. Kate was so wonderful to work with for our wedding bouquets! She was prompt in always responding during the planning process and took lots of information about what we envisioned and wanted in our florals. She even provided some ideas about what the colors and flowers would look like. Our bouquets exceeded expectations and I was floored not only with her inclusion of everything we asked for, but also the thoughtfulness in creating our two bouquets. They were perfectly crafted to complement each other and to be a mix of our favorite things, which was so beautiful and meaningful. Kate really goes above and beyond! -

My wedding florals were amazing
I wanted non-traditional wedding florals and Kate crushed it. I am not a flower person, but I was blown away with the work Kate and her team did; the florals were beyond beautiful and elevated the look of the event space. Kate ended up having to redesign our original floral plan 4.5 months before the wedding (due to a change in wedding planner) and she was so patient and communicative throughout that whole process. Even with the global supply chain being a total dumpster fire, Kate found beautiful and unique florals for our wedding, and I could not have been happier with her work. -

I was lucky enough to receive two GORGEOUS bridal bouquets from Kate. The first was for our April 2020 backyard wedding at the very beginning of COVID and the second was for our big celebration in August 2021. Working with Kate was wonderful. Not only is Kate just such a fun person to chat with, but from sharing a few photos early on, it was very clear that she understood my vision for our wedding flowers perfectly. Kate was very flexible (we went through 3 wedding dates), communicated well, respected our budget, and created the most gorgeous floral arrangements for our wedding. From the bouquets to the ceremony arch to the seating chart display to the table designs, everything was perfect. Literally, the only picture I took during the entire wedding was of the sweetheart table flowers - they were just so pretty. I highly recommend working with Kate! She was incredible from start to finish. -

Amazing florals
I had such an amazing experience working with Kate. After our first call, she sent over a design board that perfectly represented the vision I was hoping to execute on my wedding day. She was such a joy to work with throughout the planning process. On the day-of, everything was better than I imagined. Love & Luster is a such a dream to work with. Kate was so flexible when we decided to postpone the big wedding and just do a small wedding this year. I could tell from the beginning that she really got our vibe and she executed what she described perfectly (maybe better!). I could tell she really had our best interests at heart and wanted us to have our best day. Her florals really made a difference in the event and made it feel so so special instead of just a picnic. I hired Kate for my August 2020 wedding after seeing her florals at two of my college friends' weddings a few years ago and I feel like her work just keeps getting better and better! Kate has a background in fashion design and sources her flowers from local Maryland farms, so her attention to trendiness and sustainability made her a perfect fit.
Due to COVID-19, we postponed our big celebration and pivoted toward a mini-wedding. Kate made all the logistics easy, moving our original contract to our new date without requiring any additional deposit. Then we got to work on a new proposal for our mini-wedding! Aside from requesting dahlias, providing a little feedback about color palette, and blowing up her DMs with floral photos that looked nothing like each other and that offered no cohesive vision (lol!), I relinquished total creative control to Kate. Given that I am an irritatingly indecisive person, it was incredibly freeing to just let Kate "do her thing" and to feel completely assured that I would love the final product. I knew I could trust her to create something truly beautiful and personal for us while also pushing the bounds and keeping our wedding on trend.
And let me tell you -- the florals for our 18-person wedding were STUNNING. From a bouquet I didn't even know I was dreaming about until I saw it, to asymmetrical arrangements on our arch using flowers and colors I wouldn't have thought to request, to the best compote arrangement ever, to all the extra little bud vases and candles that tied it all together, Kate completely knocked it out of the park!
My current status: dreaming about all the gorgeous work she's going to do for our vow renewal/sequel wedding in August 2021!
Run, don't walk, to book Love & Luster! You will not be disappointed. -

I can't even begin to explain the gratitude and appreciation my husband and I have for Kate! She went above and beyond her call of duty before, during and even after our wedding in June 2020. She was extremely flexible and accommodating when it came to having to reschedule numerous times due to COVID. She was a light during such a challenging and emotional experience. Knowing that she was there for us, know matter what, was so comforting. She made my wedding dreams come true & even went the extra mile to try to find an exotic flower I had my heart set on. We have her booked for our reception next June and we can't wait to watch her work her magic yet again. You won't go wrong hiring her to make your vision come to life!!!

We were engaged in May 2020 and decided to have a small intimate wedding in September of the same year. I contacted Kate immediately, I always knew I wanted to use her for my flowers. I've known her for many years and before becoming a client had the pleasure of working along side her on a couple photoshoot as florist and makeup artist. She is absolutely amazing to work with. She knows exactly how to make hou vision come alive and is one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. A Floral Genius!
I have had the absolute pleasure of working with Kate on various shoots, designs, and weddings- so when it was time for me to select a florist for my own wedding, booking Love and Luster was a no brainer. Kate understood my vision immediately and was about to create a detailed proposal that fell in line with everything my husband and I wanted. Kate is so easy to work with and great with communication throughout the planning process. During our final venue walkthrough, Kate was flexible with making adjustments and providing great recommendations to ensure no aspect of the wedding design was left untouched. On the wedding day, when Kate dropped off our personal flowers I was in awe. It was as if she plucked each bloom from the vision that I had dreamed up in my mind and arrangement it perfectly. Walking into the venue once it was all flowered was better than I had imagined! My wedding was perfect because I had Love and Luster there to make it so. Thank you Kate and the L&L Team!! -

I had the honor or of working with Kate from Love and Luster Floral for our intimate wedding in November. She was very helpful in working with me to create a design plan for my bouquet and my husband’s boutonnière. I was all over the place with my vision and she was able to decipher my ideas to create a bouquet I fell in love with! She never made me feel as though I was a bother or too indecisive! Her response time was prompt and never took longer than 24 hours to reply to a question, often times even replying within minutes! Kate was able to work with my budget and create stunning arrangements that were complimented by our guests endlessly. I would highly recommend Love and Luster for any floral design needs you may have! -

Dream flowers
I loved working with Kate from Love and Luster. From our first conversation, she understood my vision and really worked with me to make sure I was able to get the flowers I wanted for my wedding. This was especially helpful considering we had to switch from a spring wedding to a fall wedding. She also made sure to get the flowers just right when I was very particular about an accent color I wanted. Her work is very romantic and definitely sets the mood. I have no regrets hiring Kate. I still talk about my wedding flowers to be honest. -

Kate made beautiful bouquets for our mini wedding. She totally got my vision and came up with beautiful options for each bridesmaid bouquet. I picked everything up two days beforehand and she made sure the bouquets would be looking their best by the time of the wedding. She even included an extra boutonnière for the groom and packed them in a hydration pack so they would last over 48 hours. We repurposed the bouquets for our table decorations since we were having such a small reception. We will definitely be having Love and Luster do the florals for our bigger celebration next summer!

Kate is an incredible florist who knows that the devil is all in the details. She chose out these gorgeous deep red peonies within the bridal bouquet that were absolutely breathtaking. She was able to capture our vision and even recommended ferns lining the aisle, which made all the difference and balanced out our ceremony site. She even talked to us about how she sources some of her flowers, and you can really tell that these flowers are from farms that care about the quality of their flowers. Our guests loved the centerpieces, and each one was taken home at the end of the night to be enjoyed by our guests. Thank you Kate! -

Simply the best.
Kate is an INCREDIBLE florist!! The flowers for my wedding were better than I had pictured in my head. It only took one simple phone call with Kate and she was able to nail down what I wanted to an absolute T. I was kind of lost at the beginning of this process because I know nothing about flowers and I'm not a very creative person, but Kate was able to suggest so many ideas that I absolutely loved and worked perfectly with the limited vision I had. Her ideas were really creative and so different from anything I've ever seen at any other weddings - case in point the non-arch arch. HOLY TOLEDO IT WAS SO PRETTY. My wedding basically looked like The Secret Garden. I was obsessed then and I am still obsessed now. I want to put her in my pocket so she can decorate my house every week. You can't go wrong with Kate she is a gem!! -

My goodness Kate! You are an angel sent from above. I'm so happy to have found you for our wedding. I've never met someone who is so personal from the get go. Thank you for being someone who we can trust and delivered excellent service. You went above and BEYOND our expectations as a florist. Your passion for what you do is utterly admirable and pushes me (as an artist) to have that work ethic as well. It's rare to find someone who goes beyond what they are set out to do, and I'm so glad we connected!
To be honest, I was actually looking at other vendors prior to booking Kate. I had a particular style that I envisioned for my wedding bouquet. I bookmarked a few photos and flowers I liked. Searched high and low on the internet (Instagram, wedding vendor sites, etc) but couldn't find one that was reasonably within our budget. My husband did not want to spend an enormous amount of money on flowers, and I wanted too (LOL so we had to meet in the middle somehow). Some vendors either make you meet a minimum or else you're not qualified to book them. With Kate, it was a completely different story. Her responses were human, and I felt like I was actually being treated as a person instead of just a number. She will work with your budget - which I am super grateful for. She noticed that I was an artist too - so when I got on call with her. She totally hit it off with that. She respected my eye, and I completely trusted and respected hers. The color palette that we envisioned was mutual, and I'm happy that we were on the same page from the beginning.
She sent me photos of the flowers once they arrived at her studio. It was unnecessary, but she did it and that made me feel like I was apart of the whole process. I appreciated that gesture, and it got me super pumped! On our wedding day, she delivered our bouquets just in time for our first look and rushed off to our wedding venue to set the flowers up. She mentioned that she wanted to throw in a few other things to liven up our wedding table which was totally unexpected! That was very nice of her to do so and I'm so happy that she did it. The table looked lush and fruitful (literally. fruits. who would've thought of that?!). We're so glad we got that special Kate touch!
Find yourself a florist that will still push themself and is willing to grow in the process. I cannot express how passionate this lady is. She is everything I look for in a florist and more. Also, who would've known that she just recently started this business? She is that talented. It goes to show years of experience is just a mere drop in the ocean. She has a natural eye for floral design, so you WILL be in good hands. Trust me. :) -

Mother of the Groom
I worked with Kate for my son's wedding. Kate was very professional and very accommodating. She is very creative and helps with what is needed where. Each arrangement from the bouquets to the cake table to the arch was perfect. The venue was beautiful and the flowers turned beautiful into elegant. She also did the flowers for the rehearsal dinner.
The pricing was fair for the time spent and final product! -

Kate was absolutely wonderful to work with for our wedding, from the easy to navigate proposal to the perfect execution on our wedding day, I couldn't have asked for more. We met Kate Campbell through a mutual friend at a party years back. When I had heard from her that she was opening up a floral business, I knew we had to book her for our upcoming wedding! From the beginning, Kate was always generous with her time, responsive, full of creativity, and supportive of my ideas. She incorporated our love of yellow roses into all of our arrangements while also pulling in other beautiful flowers and greenery to add an element of romanticism to our vineyard wedding (including grapes from our very own venue!). I especially enjoyed the document she sends to you which breaks down all of the flowers utilized in all of the different arrangement's (since I am a visual person!). If you have the chance to work with her, run! You will not be disappointed and your flowers will be sure to impress! Oh AND she was just featured this year in Baltimore Magazine! A true talent in the floral world! -

Courtney Sent on 07/10/2018I loved everything about working with Love and Luster. Prior to planning with Kate, I really had no idea what I wanted or even names of flowers. I shared this with her and she walked me through finding styles I liked and then went from that to create the most beautiful flower arrangements I have seen. The pictures don't even do them justice. They absolutely made our wedding the beautiful experience that it was because of the romantic, subtle beauty that they added to the ceremony and reception.
Kate did everything, and without the amazing floral design there is no way my wedding would have been as beautiful as it was. She did my bouquet, all of my bridesmaid's bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, center pieces, aisle decor. She dropped off the flowers for the hair the morning of before going to set up, and she perfectly placed the succulents on our cake, making it as beautiful as it was.
I was so anxious about everything before my wedding, and now looking back on it I realized that the whole time we were at the venue before the wedding, I didn't worry about checking on the flowers once, I just knew that they would be beautiful, and they were.
If I ever need flowers again for any reason, I will going back to Love and Luster. I can't speak highly enough. -

Kate took our theme, ideas, and preferences and created the most beautiful wedding vision we could have imagined. We knew with a large bridal party and conservative budget we might not be able to have as many floral arrangements as we wanted but Kate had so many creative ideas that she was able to fulfill all of our wedding floral dreams! Kate is also so easy and fun to talk to – every phone call we had I felt like I was talking to a close friend, she is extremely attentive and personable and she made what could have been a stressful conversation a fun and easy one! On our wedding day, Kate’s work was absolutely beautiful, every bouquet and floral arrangement had us speechless. She uses local flowers and the quality and artistry in her work is breathtaking. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the flowers were and the bridal party was obsessed with their bouquets and boutonnieres! Kate is amazing and we feel so lucky for her to have been part of our special day! -

At the last minute we asked her to bring an extra flower or two for our cake - and of course she delivered.
She really understood our vision for the wedding and was able to tie everything together. We would highly recommend Kate's Love & Luster business for your perfect wedding experience.
